0:00Welcome back to another Mainstage. This0:02is where I talk directly with my0:03community. I tell personal stories, deep0:06biblical learnings, and I answer0:07questions directly from the chat. These0:10episodes are audio only. So, thank you0:11guys for listening and tuning in. And0:13you can join my Discord to catch the0:15next main stage live. Okay, let's get0:18started. Yeah, that's Pastor John. So,0:21he's the what we call the scorpion king.0:24He died um you know his heart stopped0:28four times and he basically died. It was0:30really medically he was pronounced dead0:32four four times. Um but God worked0:35through him. [clears throat]0:36So you know the the unlock uh that I0:40heard from him which I think was again0:44just because we've heard the gospel does0:46not mean that you know you can't learn0:48new things right what's beautiful is uh0:51the gospel it's it's the gift that keeps0:54on giving so what he said was such a0:57beautiful thing he said that even Jesus1:01basically even god has to use faith even1:04god has to go back to his bird. So what1:08Satan continued to to do was he kept1:11saying if you are the son of God, if1:13thou be the son of God, if thou be the1:15son of God, right? So if you be the son1:17of God, he kept on attacking his1:20identity and he was tying tying that1:22together, right? Saying that a lot of1:24people uh they focus on the go, they1:27focus on the word of Satan. Um but you1:31know, he works in the same patterns,1:33right? patternistically. He works in1:35that way. He says, you know, you're1:38nothing, you're stupid, are you legit1:41saved? Says all of these things. Jesus1:44received the word, this is my beloved1:47son in whom, right? I am very proud. So1:50God said his word, this when the heavens1:52opened up, this is my beloved son. And1:56Satan said, if you be the son, you see,1:58you see the difference? So Jesus2:01continued to draw from what God said and2:04that's how he was able to overcome what2:07what Satan said. You guys understand2:09what I'm saying? As you guys can see,2:11they preach only the gospel. But the2:14reason why we gatekeep, right, is2:16because people love to test and critique2:20and right, you know, Pastor John came2:23from Korea like a lot of our pastors2:26with zero dollars in their bank account.2:29came to this place in America, grew up2:32in Garland, Texas, joined a a rival gang2:35of mines. Um, and he went through a lot.2:38He was very poor, right? He grew up in2:40in kind of the hood area. And um, when I2:44first met him, I didn't like him because2:45I knew his gang affiliate. But he is2:48like a brother to me many, many times.2:50He's saved me out of my mindset. Say, he2:53was the one who called me, you know,2:54when I wanted to leave multiple times2:56and even chased after me when I did. It2:59was a beautiful thing, right? I had to3:01go through a lot. He went through a lot3:02with me. And um it's really sad to see3:06like people, you know, uh kind of3:10ridicule others, right? If you notice,3:12he's just preaching like me. Scripture.3:15Amen. Right. Scripture after scripture3:17after scripture after scripture. People3:19want to critique and look more info. And3:22it's just sad, you know. It's just sad3:24how legalistic people are, you know. But3:28when I think about that, right, I think3:30about the gospel and I think about how3:33much people have uprooted their lives to3:36go and and and preach the gospel and how3:40they uproot their lives to then, you3:43know, leave from a foreign country to go3:45to another foreign country to then save3:48their whole souls and uh save souls and3:51give up their whole lives for the3:53gospel. I I want to ask you guys3:55something, right? Think about this.3:58Let's say I I you know, we're C4:01ministries now, right? We're officially4:02a church, right? Pastor Johnny, right?4:05And let's say I said, "Hey guys, I want4:10to make disciples of many nations." So I4:12started to send you guys to different4:14places. Okay? So you sister, you go to4:17Russia. Brother, you go to Ukraine.4:20Brother, you go to the Middle East.4:21Brother, brother, you go here. Sister,4:22you go here. Let's say, right?4:24Understand? And and then let's let's4:27here's the kicker. Here's the kicker. I4:30only get you a one-way ticket. I don't4:33give you money to set up shop. I don't4:36give you a church building. I send you4:39just a one-way ticket. And I say by4:42faith, brothers and sisters, go and4:45establish a church. And if you don't,4:47and if God doesn't help you, rip up the4:50Bible. Understand what I'm saying? Rip4:52up the Bible because God's not real.4:54Then did you guys know that's a real4:56thing? That's how our churches got4:58established. Understand? Put some5:01respect on the names saying, right? It's5:05easy to say, "Let's do it when you can't5:08even overcome your depression and5:10loneliness. You think you got real5:11loneliness, brothers and sisters.5:14Imagine taking your whole family with5:16you. Imagine not speaking a lick of that5:19language going there. And then you got5:21to deal with Pharisees. And then you got5:24to deal with people who are like, "Well,5:25let me look you up. Let me make sure5:27you're not." Oh, that says you're a5:29cult. And imagine this, right? These5:33guys are built different. Understand5:35what I'm saying? They're built5:37different. Amen. Right, guys? Very, very5:41different. Genuinely, when I look at5:43them, I can only respect them. But we5:46are so narrow in our logic. We think5:50only our problems are big. We even think5:53that we can do what they do. We think we5:56can live better. You know, Pastor John5:58has four kids now. You know, baby6:01Isaiah, right? [snorts] Shiloh, right?6:04Hungin,6:06right? Joanna, Nathan, right? I when I6:08when when when I watched them grow up,6:10you know, they had to also struggle too,6:14right? They had to also go through being6:16poor and sharing and you know playing6:20with toys and that were like broken like6:23it was a lot. When you put those things6:26and you see those things in perspective6:29complaining is not part of your DNA6:31anymore because you genuinely start to6:34see how people are. If you guys really6:37want to grow with God, right? If you6:39guys really want to grow with God,6:41right, brothers and sisters, I think the6:43most important thing is to actually do a6:47short-term missionary, go and volunteer6:50six months of your life at another6:53country that's a third world country.6:55Like I went to Liberia. He went to6:57Liberia, too. It was not easy. No7:00electricity, no running water. Dig a7:03hole in the ground. Understand what I'm7:05saying? Make sense? and then try it,7:09right? Eat half a meal a day, one meal a7:11day, and then you have to preach the7:13gospel. You know, it changes you as a7:15human being. Make sense, right? You7:18think about these things, right? And if7:20you think you want to go, those are the7:22people that shouldn't go.7:25If you think it's easy and oh, I want to7:27sign up and I want to do, you're a fool,7:31respectfully. Why? Because you think you7:35can [laughter]7:37understand what I'm saying? Make sense?7:40Because you think you can. People who7:43sit there and they go, "Yeah, I want to7:44learn. I want to grow." Those are people7:47who will never. And I'll explain why.7:49Because you think you can. All we care7:52about is showing. Pay attention7:54carefully, guys, to what I'm saying. All7:57we care about is showing how great we7:59are in front of God and in front of8:01people. But in front of God, it's as if8:04he we act like he doesn't know who we8:06truly are. Amen. Brothers and sisters,8:09that's the problem. We only care about8:12that. We care about showing God how8:15peaceful we are, how great we are, how8:16loving we are, how much we want to grow,8:18and then we expect change. Those types8:20of things. Make sense? But many people8:23don't see their own heart posture. It's8:26truly sad. We say the right things, but8:29we don't know how to act actually trust8:32the word word of God. We just know how8:34to say that. Like, you know, parrots,8:37like they're cute, you know, they know8:38how to say certain things, but deep8:40down, they don't know internally what to8:43say, what to do. They just know, okay, I8:46know if I say this, this is the right8:48way to say things. How many people8:50actually believe it? Like I can show you8:52guys, for example, how many of us don't8:55really know the word of God? And that's8:56not a problem. But it's a problem when8:59you think you don't know the word of9:01God. Understand what I'm saying? Or you9:04think you know the word of God. I'm9:05sorry, but you actually don't. But you9:08think you do, right? So I'll do this9:11test for you guys. Let's just f here.9:13Let's read this scripture. Uh how many9:16of you guys have heard this scripture9:19before? Let's read it. Okay. The heart9:20is deceitful above all things.9:22Desperately wicked. Who can know it?9:25Okay, let's focus here. Any of you guys9:28struggle with depression, emptiness,9:31loneliness, anxiety, max. Okay. Yes.9:33Yes. Yes. Heard it first. Amen. Waves of9:36sadness. Good. Good. Thank you for being9:38honest. Right. A lot of us struggle with9:41those. Lust. Sure. Right. We struggle9:44with it clinically. Yes. Good. Right.9:46Exactly why we're here. Amen. Now, let's9:49stop typing. Let me repost this. Okay.9:52Anger. Something's good. Watch this. Do9:55you guys believe everything in the Bible9:57is from the word of God? Yes or no? Yes.10:01Everything in the Bible is the word of10:02God, right? Good. Okay. Now, let's stop10:06right here. Stop typing. Let me post10:08this so it doesn't get pushed up. Watch10:10this. The heart is deceitful. So, what10:12does that mean? Heart is a liar, right?10:14Okay. Above all things, what does it10:16mean? Top liar. Desperately wicked. Who10:19can know it? Amen. So if your heart is10:22the biggest liar, it means it's more of10:25a liar than a pathological liar, right10:28guys? Pathological liar. If you look at10:31someone on the street, would you guys10:32trust a pathological liar? You believe10:34this, right? Your heart is deceitful,10:35right? And it's desperately wicked,10:38right? And beyond cure, and you don't10:40know it, right? You believe that? Good.10:43I'm going to say that's cap. I'm going10:46to say you think you know. I don't think10:49you know. Let me explain. Let's say10:51that's cap. You're capping right now.10:53Let me explain. If you would never trust10:56a pathological liar, Amen. You would10:59never trust a pathological liar. Would11:01you guys agree? Of course not. Good.11:04Good. And your heart is more deceitful11:07than your path on the street, friend or11:09whoever it is, right? Why then do you11:12trust the heart that you have11:13depression? Then why do you trust that11:15you have anxiety and sadness then? Amen.11:19You guys got that? So, what I'm saying11:22is we think we know. Yeah. My heart is11:25deceitful. Yeah. Then why do you trust11:28it? Do you understand what I'm saying?11:30So, we think we know. We read a Bible11:33and we go, "Mhm, that's what I would do.11:34Give me the address. Let me do that."11:36But we don't know our heart posture. You11:39say you won't trust the path of your11:42heart is worse. You wouldn't trust them,11:43but you trust your heart. Interesting.11:45Do you know why? because you never ever11:51actually believe that. You just know11:53about that. You read a scripture and you11:56just go, "Hm, yeah, heart is deceitful11:58above all things desperately wicked. Who12:00can know?" Do you know what God did? He12:03threw away that heart and he gave you a12:04new heart. In Ezekiel 36:26, it talks12:08about this. What is the new heart,12:11brothers and sisters? What is the new12:13heart? Don't just quote scripture and12:14flex. What does it mean? A heart of12:17flesh. What does it mean? I don't know.12:21Belief, faith. The heart not to trust12:23ourselves. Born new, not to trust12:26oneself. A moldable heart knowing it's a12:29liar. Distrusting the old heart. Amen.12:33Because before you receive salvation,12:37who did you trust? Your heart. You12:40trusted everything that came out of you.12:42Now, after you receive salvation, you're12:45supposed to distrust your heart. But12:48some of you guys still trust your old12:49heart. Do you see what I'm saying? Make12:51sense? That's why you struggle. You do12:55you trust your old self? Old self that12:58has been crucified. old self that was13:00deceiful above all things desperately13:03wouldn't know it. Right guys, right? Why13:06does that brother come in and ask about13:08first John chapter 1 8 to10? Cuz he13:12trusts what he thinks and feels.13:14Understand?13:16Make sense, right? Papitas, that's why13:18you ask about that. You trust what you13:20feel and you want to go to a church. You13:23think that's going to sway you. You13:25think it's going to sway you. We're13:27going to sway you to trust your your own13:28heart. You can't even make yourself13:30distrust yourself. How can we make you13:32do it? That's why God is going to bend13:34you. God says, "I break down to13:37rebuild." Understand, brothers and13:39sisters, you can never bend yourself. Do13:42you guys know why you trust your old13:45heart so much? Do you know why? Can I13:49tell you guys why? Do you know why?13:52Pride, ego. No, it's not even pride and13:54ego. feels [clears throat] good. No. Do13:58you know why you guys tr trust your14:01makes sense? No. It's not even that. Do14:04you know why you guys trust your own14:05hearts? Because you think you're good.14:08If you truly believe what the Bible said14:11about you, that you're wicked and14:12deceitful. You would never trust14:16yourself. But you think you're good. Do14:20you understand? That's why everything14:22good that comes out of you, you believe.14:24cuz you trust good people. You don't14:26trust evil, mischievous, wicked people.14:29So when you really look at yourself, do14:32you really think that you're you're14:34evil? Stop playing.14:36Are you kidding me? If you really14:39trusted that you were evil, you wouldn't14:40even ask the question how to get out of14:43depression. You would be like, I deserve14:44this. Cuz evil people not only deserve14:47depression, they deserve death. But what14:50are we trying to figure out? I need to14:51wrap my head around it because you're14:53good. Does it make sense, brothers and14:57sisters? Hey, if you're enjoying this14:58episode, I have a whole other video15:00episode on all platforms, YouTube,15:03Spotify, Instagram, all that every15:05single Monday. Each episode is a gospel-15:08centered lesson that you could apply to15:09your life today. So, this is more15:12conversational. You guys know my team,15:14Jeremy and Aaron. We just have a lot of15:15fun. We joke around, but we get serious.15:18We get vulnerable. It's just very, very15:21different, and it's beautiful. So I hope15:22you guys can tune in and we made this15:24for you guys. So please enjoy. I told15:27you guys the story of P Dog. P Dog was15:29in Palinsky unit prison. He had a stay15:32of ex uh extension of death, right?15:35Execution. A stay of execution. He was15:38supposed to die 72 hours before we came.15:41He was on a death row inmate unit15:44prison. Him and another guy crossed.15:46They were sitting like this. It was a15:48two. It was a 180 cell,15:50180° death row. He's a black guy. He15:55committed, he would be considered a15:57serial killer. I think he killed more15:59than like five people, something like16:00that. It's a serial killer. He was in16:03prison when he was like 17, 18,16:05something like that. And he was like 5016:08something by the time I met him. And16:10when I saw some of these guards, I'm16:13just being honest, they were very16:15racist, very like, you know, southern16:20old. You understand? Now, when I looked16:24at P dog, unbothered. When I looked at16:27this Hispanic brother on the side,16:28unbothered. Get in your cell. Beep. Pick16:32up that thing. Beep. Right. They're16:35talking to him like this. Now, it makes16:37sense why they don't let cameras in16:38there, right? But when I when I hear it,16:41I get triggered. But when I look at16:43them, it's like an everyday thing for16:46them. They're just nonchalant.16:48Understand? So when I sat there, as I16:51started to preach, the person that was16:54most locked in was P Dog and he was16:57closest to me. Now, you're not supposed16:59to touch the them, you know? I mean,17:01it's just a gate. It's just a cell,17:03right? [snorts] So he was in a holding17:04cell on the side. And after I preached17:07the gospel, he was the one who would be17:09flipping through the Bible. He was the17:11one saying, "Amen. Hallelujah." So17:14afterwards, he's like, "Can I talk to17:16you?" I said, "Amen." So I walked over17:19to him and he said, "You know, they call17:23me P dog." I said, "For sure, P. Nice to17:26meet you." And he said, "You know,17:29Johnny, I have never heard anybody17:32preach the gospel like that. you're very17:35wise and I think you know I need to17:39share this with you. I said okay but I17:41got a stay of execution. I was supposed17:43to die 2 hours ago, 3 days ago and I I17:46did a lot and I murdered people and you17:50know all these people here they drop the17:54say things they call me this that and17:55the other and um to be honest I don't18:00care because and what he said was18:03because I deserve it. Everything that I18:05did in my life I was a wicked18:07individual. I'm worse than what they18:10said I am. looked at him, I was like, I18:13understand that moment when God says,18:15what great faith this woman has. You18:17know, in the Bible a few times, what18:19great faith this person has. The kingdom18:22has never seen this type of, right? He18:24says things like that. I had that moment18:26with him. I looked at him and I was18:28like, "So, you say you're worse than18:30that?" He said, "Yeah." And when you had18:32mentioned that we were born as sinners18:34from Adam, he said, "It may make sense."18:37said that we're imperfect people trying18:39to produce perfection and we kept18:41failing. It made sense. He said, "I18:44think I had to go through all of those18:46things in my life." My father was a18:48preacher, so I'm a preachers's kid and I18:50had to go through all of those things in18:52my life to get to this position so I18:55could hear the true gospel. He said, "My18:57home isn't here. This is temporary. But19:01today, I'm truly free. I'm [snorts]19:04perfected. I'm righteous. I'm holy. When19:08he said that, I was shocked. He was more19:12free than people who were free in this19:15world, than any of you guys,19:16respectfully understand. And he was19:19locked up on death row. When I thought19:22about that, I was so that's obviously19:24started crying crying. Why was he okay19:27with people calling him derogatory terms19:30and saying worse things about him? Do19:31you know why? Because he knew that he19:34deserved to be there. He knew that he19:36was truly wicked. How many of you guys19:40understand this? You can understand it.19:42But how many of you have walked that?19:44You have to genuinely come to the end of19:48yourself. When you're not at the end of19:51yourself, you're this doesn't matter.19:55Anyways, just tell me what it is that I19:57need to hear. Like, do you understand19:58what I'm saying? He accepted just like I20:01accepted that I'm going to burn in hell.20:04Understand? When you realize you're20:06going to burn in hell and there's20:08nothing you can do, that's when the20:10savior becomes humongous. That's when20:13your depression becomes this small. And20:16that's when acknowledgement comes. But20:18so many of us, we haven't reached that20:21position. We just know the gospel as20:23head knowledge. Do you understand? Oh20:26yeah, I'm righteous. Wow, I get to go to20:28heaven. That's what we love. We haven't20:30reached the position of, dang, I'm for20:32real bad. I'm for real stupid. I'm for20:36real dumb. That's why we can judge other20:39people. You're a liar. You're a cheater.20:41You're a backbiter. I have depression.20:43[clears throat] I have loneliness.20:45Because you've never actually hit that20:46pinnacle of your life that you failed.20:49You say it. Understand what I'm saying?20:52But you don't really know what rock20:54bottom is. Respectfully, you know what20:57your rock bottom is. Understand? And20:59everybody's rock bottom is different.21:02Amen. The wrong mindset to have cuz when21:07you speak you leak is so how do I get21:09there? Do you understand? At that21:12position you're still selfish. You want21:14to get there so you will stop struggling21:18so you can feel better about yourself.21:20Do you? So Donnie, enough with all the21:23yapping. Tell me how to surrender so I21:25can receive wisdom like this and receive21:27grace like this. No, you need to die.21:29God doesn't come and just make you21:31surrender. He makes you die and then21:33resurrects you. God didn't come to21:35change people. He came to resurrect dead21:37people. [snorts] Understand? That's the21:40difference. You have to literally die to21:42yourself. But the issue is we don't want21:46to understand. We don't want to. We21:49still have our own blemishes. We think21:51it's okay. If you're asking me how do I21:54die, my answer is you already are.21:58You're You're just too foolish to22:01understand. Too foolish to recognize it.22:04You're already dead. Don't believe me?22:07Right? Don't believe me? Let me show you22:10guys. How do I receive it? It's kind of22:13wild, right? God forbid. How shall we22:16that are dead to sin, not going to die,22:19we're already dead, live any longer22:23therein? Are you dead or not? Are you?22:26No. That's what the Bible says. Let's22:29read this one. Ephesians 2 1:3. Right.22:33Right. And you hath he quickened who22:37were dead in trespasses. And so already,22:40are you dead or no? Yes, you're dead22:42already. Wherein times past ye walked22:45according to the course of the world,22:48according to the prince of the power of22:49the air, the spirit that now workketh in22:51the children of disobedience.22:53Amen.22:55You were naturally children of wrath.22:57But what did God say? He made you alive.23:01Amen. You guys got that? So when you23:05tell me, "How do I die?" Do you know23:08what you're saying to me? I don't23:10believe. That's why you're trying to ask23:13for forgiveness for your sins. That's23:15why you're trying to be a good person.23:17Amen. Brothers and sisters, a lot of23:20people don't understand that heart23:22posture. Amen. That's why God says you23:25have to be born again. But the issue is23:28if you are a good mark my words, if you23:30don't listen to anything, listen to23:31this. If you're a good person, then23:36you're never going to be able to hear23:37even 1% of what I'm saying. Because what23:40we teach about is we're evil. We're23:45wicked. To level the playing field so we23:48can listen. But if you think I'm good,23:52trust me, guys. Trust me, you'll never23:55listen. It don't matter if you come to23:57our church. It don't matter if you come23:59to our events. It don't matter if you24:00buy the $77 tier. It doesn't matter at24:03all. Respectfully, it doesn't matter.24:06Amen. Now, I'm not saying this to make24:09you guys feel sad. I want you guys to24:12understand something. If you think that24:15you're good, what that means is you24:18don't believe what the God the Bible24:20says of us. Pastor John talked about it,24:23right? Isaiah 5324:27verse 6. Pretty it carefully here. He24:30said, "All we like sheep, all means24:33everybody, we all of us like sheep have24:36gone astray. We have turned past tense24:39already turned everyone to his own way.24:43And the Lord has laid on him the24:45iniquity of us all. You guys understand?24:48You got that? Have all of you guys24:50turned away? Yes or no? Yes, you've all24:53turned away from God in one way, shape,24:57or form. But what's beautiful about this24:59verse, he says, "And the Lord," right?25:04Pastor John said, "The Lord has laid on25:07him the iniquity of us all." Who lays25:10your sins? Who's got to even put your25:12sins onto Jesus? Has he done it already?25:15Yes. Because even as he was saying, 70025:18to 800 years, Isaiah is prophesying. And25:22if it was 700 years ago, 700 years25:25before Jesus came, I'm sorry, or 80025:27years, shouldn't he say, "And God is25:29going to lay on him the iniquity of us25:32all." Shouldn't he say that, brothers25:34and sisters? But instead, what does he25:37say? Read it again. And the Lord has25:39laid on him25:41the iniquity has laid. Past tense. Make25:45sense? Stop answering. Just listen. My25:49goodness. Read it carefully. Right. Read25:52it carefully. Has laid. Wait a minute.25:56Because Isaiah had faith. Isaiah did not26:00see Jesus, but he prophesied about him.26:03He knew God is going to lay on this26:06person all of my sins, too. And for26:09that, he was credited righteousness. You26:12guys got that right, brothers and26:13sisters? In the same way, let me ask you26:17something. Therefore, if any man be in26:19Christ, he is a new creature. Old things26:22are passed away. Behold, all things are26:24become new. So, let me ask you26:26something. Do you still struggle with26:28your depression and your loneliness and26:30anxiety? Do you still have to beg for26:32forgiveness? Katherine Nicole says yes.26:36Who else is saying yes here? Jay, yes.26:40Do you know that? Yes. Live Lake Sera,26:42right? King Baby Boy, yes. Lexa Jay,26:46yes. Joel Sanchez, yes. Sometimes. Yes.26:51Mi, yes. Are you guys believers of the26:54word of God? The ones who said yes. Do26:57you guys believe in the word of God?26:59Yes. Yes. Can I say you don't? Because27:03you just proved it to me. So, everyone27:05stop typing. Only the ones that said27:07yes, type. Watch this. Okay. Therefore,27:10if any man and woman, cuz they're ehad27:13one, bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh,27:16right? Be in Christ. You say you believe27:19in Jesus. He is a new creature. He and27:22she are not going to be are a new27:27creature. Old things are passed away.27:31Passed away past tense already gone.27:33Behold, all things are become new. So27:35let me ask you again. You believe in the27:37word, right? So do you have depression,27:41loneliness, anxiety?27:43You guys switched up so fast. What the27:45hell? Fa's like, "Yes, I need a wifey."27:49Yes. Notice how everything you guys say27:52goes contrary to the word of God. Is27:54that what the Bible says? You should27:56say, "Yeah, that is a bad thing, David."27:58You don't have to say you're good at28:00all. So, one more time. Therefore, if28:03any man be in Christ, he is a new28:07creature. Going to become or brand new.28:10Which one? Brand spanking new. Right?28:13Old things are passed. Passed away.28:17Understand what I'm saying? Look at28:18people trying to find the loopholes.28:21McKinian watch. What if it's momentarily28:23and the moment you pray it goes away28:25instantly? Look at the loophole. That's28:29our brain.28:30Okay. What if though?28:34No. No. Let's just let's address the28:36scripture. Stop adding your thoughts.28:38Let's address the scripture. Therefore,28:41if any man be in Christ momentarily,28:44no, in Christ, right? He is a new28:47creature. Old things are passed away.28:49Behold, all things are become new.28:51Notice how the word doesn't change, but28:54your thoughts do. Okay, but what about28:56this? Okay, but what about Okay, but but28:58what about what about what about what29:00about? So, that's why I keep doing let's29:02do it again. Therefore, if any man be in29:06Christ, he is a new creature. So who29:09told you you had depression? Cuz it sure29:11wasn't God. So are you believing in God29:14or are you believing in your heart and29:16in Satan? Which one? This is believing29:20in the word. Make sense? But what do29:23people do? I believe in God. They even29:26sing, I trust in God, right? My savior.29:30Right? They sing, right? All they sing29:31their heart out. The one, right? They go29:34all crazy with it, right? But then when29:36push comes to shove, when push comes to29:39shove, what do they do? I trust my29:42thoughts. But what about super trust29:46themselves? The thing I'm trying to29:48teach you guys is how to step out of the29:51frame of your thinking. I'll give you an29:54example. Do you guys know the company29:573M? You guys know the company 3M? So30:00they make they make, you know, um,30:04post-it notes, they make, you know,30:07adhesives like when you hang like a a a30:10towel rack. They make that little thing30:12in the back where you Right. Packing30:15supplies and office supplies. Scotch30:18bright pads. Exactly. Let me teach you30:20why stepping out of the frame of your30:22mindset is so powerful just with this30:25verse and this this story. I'm sorry. So30:28there's a a man named Art Fry. He was a30:31scientist and he worked for 3M. Now 3M30:35in the 1970s30:37wanted to be the world's adhesive30:41leading adhesive glue brand. They wanted30:45they were competing with Superlue, Crazy30:47Glue. They wanted to be like top dog out30:50of their own desire. So they kept making30:53these adhesives30:55and they were just not that strong. They30:58were strong but not stronger than the30:59competitor. So in their in their31:02mission, did they fail? Yes or no?31:05Complete failure. And so they kind of31:07just pushed it to the side. Now Art Fry,31:10the scientist who was leading it, went31:13to church and sang a himnel. He was31:16singing hymns, right? And when he would31:18open his book, they would keep switching31:21himnos. So his bookmark would he would31:24keep having to move it and then forgot31:26the last one. And so he's like, "Man, I31:28wish there was something that I could31:31put here temporarily that would stick31:34but like permanently stay here." And31:38then that idea formed out of his mind. I31:41have a adhesive that isn't that strong.31:45So he went and he started to play with31:47it. And what was born out of it that31:49skyrocketed their company? The post-it31:52note. How many of you guys use Post-its?31:56Me too. It's something you could stick31:58on a on a refrigerator on your on your32:01Bible, right? The whole world uses it.32:04But what happened? It was from that32:07failed adhesive. Now, if he sat there32:12and he was like, I failed. I suck. Oh my32:15gosh, I'm not the world's best. Let's32:17say he does what we all do and he didn't32:20step out of the frame and the mindset of32:22his thinking, could he ever create the32:24post-it note? It would have just ended32:27right there. You guys understand what32:29I'm saying? But the fact that he didn't32:32see the things in his life as failures,32:36he stepped out of his mindset, he then32:39realized the whole company became a32:42billiondoll company after that.32:44Understand? In the same way, it is so32:48important to step out of your mindset,32:51but y'all don't want to. That's the32:53problem. You only see bad for what it32:57is. Understand what I'm saying? Make33:00sense, guys? You only see what it is.33:03Amen. Cuz look, even Lexa J, right?33:06You've been here for a little bit. So,33:07I'm going to address this. It's the33:09stepping out that is the hardest part.33:11To let let go is the hardest thing to33:13learn. Listen to me carefully. Who said33:16that? Do you understand? Who said that?33:20The hardest part is not stepping out.33:24The hardest part is I trust in myself33:27that this is hard when it's not. I trust33:31in myself. That's the hardest part.33:34Understand what I'm saying? It's not33:36even that you need to step out of it.33:39It's that you don't even realize that33:41you're in it. That's also one of the33:43other things. Are you guys following me33:45here? Is always going to condemn you33:48guys by telling you guys that you're33:50this way forever. He does that to me all33:52the time. But we don't get stuck there.33:55We have to step out of that. How though?33:58Is bed and walked on the same day was33:59the Sabbath. Now [clears throat]34:02details here that we have to really34:04focus. First and foremost, Jesus is34:07going to this pool and in verse there34:10lay a great multitude of impotent folks.34:12So people who were handicapped of blind34:15people of halted people meaning for the34:17moving of the water. Amen.34:20Okay. Verse tells us something here.34:23[snorts] For an angel went down at a34:25certain season into the pool and34:27troubled the water disease he had. Now34:30what is the condition? An angel comes34:31down right in a certain time moves the34:34water and after the troubling of be made34:38whole and it's only one34:40do you guys think this angel is from34:43if a true angel of God came34:47right it would have said guys don't look34:50at the pool it's a fallen angel his name34:54that's why it's removed from I want you34:56to know truth here understand Okay, now35:01let's continue.35:03Let's focus here. And when Jesus saw him35:06lie and knew that he had been now Moses35:08conditioned for a long time, 38 years,35:10he was like that, right? He said unto35:13him, "Will you be made whole?" This man35:16pay attention biblical exesus and35:18reading between the lines. This man35:20answered, "Sir, to help me." So, can35:22anyone help him? No.35:25When the water is troubled and the water35:26moves to put me into the35:30even put want to be made the end of35:34but while I'm coming he says another35:36step it down. So even if I try I cannot35:40do it35:43immediately what does Jesus say?35:47Take up thy why because he saw his35:48heart. Oh then wants to do good is he35:52cannot. And what does he give him? Rise35:56means to get up, take your bed and walk.35:59How come he didn't just say rise and36:01walk? Leave your poop filled36:05food. Why doesn't he he say why does he36:09say to take it up with him? Why? Because36:12that's his testimony36:15to remember who If you love biblical36:17lessons like this, then you would love36:19my weekly Bible class. Bible class36:21brings clarity, community, and36:23consistency. There are a lot of us who36:24read the Bible, but we don't know how to36:26apply that to our lives. Consistency.36:28Also, a lot of you guys want to read the36:30Bible and you don't know where to start,36:32how to start, and therefore it kind of36:34discourages you guys to read the Bible.36:35So, every week at on Saturdays at 10:0036:38a.m. Pacific Standard Time, we go36:40through one chapter and we break down36:42every single verse and apply those36:45verses to your life. See you guys this Saturday at37:0510:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. A37:07person that without Jesus can only be37:10this.37:12Still confused. I'm confused. Are we37:14righteous? Are we what I'm saying is do37:17you understand now? God is saying you37:19need to remember who you are Juanito not37:22to condemn but to know you're nothing.37:27Understand? And then read verse 9 again.37:30Let's read it carefully. And immediately37:32the man was made whole and took up his37:35bed and walked. And on the same day was37:37the Sabbath.37:40Right? These stupid Pharisees, the Jews,37:43instead of saying, "Wow, amen." What did37:46he say? The Jews therefore said unto him37:48that Sabbath day, it is not lawful for37:50thy bed. Mr. Legalistic idiots is the37:53law. You're sinning right now, brother.37:56You You It's the law. It's Sabbath days.37:58Don't carry it anymore. Said unto me,38:00"Take up thy bed and walk." I'm38:02listening to not you.38:04Right? And watch this. Watch this. Watch38:07this. Watch this. Then asked a him,38:11"What man is that which said, take up38:12thy bed and walk?" And he said, "That38:14was healed with not who was for right."38:18Amen.38:20Right? Watch this.38:23Then the man departed which made him38:25whole. So he tells them,38:27[clears throat] right? Understand? Amen.38:30But watch this. And therefore these38:33things on the Sabbath day. So care about38:35this man being made whole. No, they care38:38about the law. They wanted to kill him.38:42Right. Right. And look at what keeps on38:46telling him. But Jesus answered them,38:48"My my father, we have I do the work."38:50There Jews sought to the more to kill38:52him because not only had he broken the38:54Sabbath, but said also. You see that?38:58Amen.39:01Make sense? [snorts] So what is he39:03saying?39:07He's saying39:10he's saying I do my father's work and39:13you guys want do right and watch what he39:16said right39:19search the scriptures for in them that39:21you think you have they are they which39:22testify of me testament too in all39:24scripture39:26he say and you will not come that you39:29might have life you might have life39:32amen Amen.39:35Right. Amen.39:38Right. Moses, you would have believed me39:40for he wrote of me. That's pretty39:43gangster. Believe not his writings. My39:47words. He already knows they're not. Do39:50you understand?39:53Right. So, what is he saying here?39:56He's saying you guys and I came to do39:59the work, but you guys want to do the40:00work cuz you're so good. I healed this40:03man. Do you care about their healing?40:06No, you care. Do you think you really40:08care about eternal life? No. You think40:10you do, but they talk about me. I'm40:13brothers and sisters. The aka what?40:16Their words. Yeah, I'm blind, but at40:19least I can hear. And that guy who can't40:22hear, he's not going to know when the40:24water's moving. So I can get in before40:26him. He has something. And I can run in40:29on that. Is really close to the pool.40:32Once it moves, I'm going to move my40:34ginger ale and be made whole. Ginger40:37ale. Yeah. Right. Old man. Right.40:41Right. Shoot. If I was a guy with the in40:44the pool of Bethesda, I would just be40:46laying in the water like, dang, I ain't40:48even go I'mma just sit right here.40:50Uh-huh. Right. Amen. Cheat the system.40:56Right.40:58Right.40:59Now,41:01but what does this man's What is the41:03difference between this man's heart and41:05everybody else's heart? Ready? He41:08realized, I can't do it.41:11I can't. I suck. Rock bottom. Going to41:15stir. And guess what? Blessing. Cuz I41:18don't I can't even do it. I want to go.41:20I can't. I'm literally crippled. Way41:23worse than everybody.41:25And right after that, Jesus goes, "Yep,41:28you got the right condition. Rise, take41:29up thy bed, and walk." And he walks,41:36right? Later on, he even goes to tell41:38them, right, everyone who gets healed41:41twice, John 9, it talks about this too,41:45right? Healing the, right? I told you41:48who saved but he's not supposed to do41:50that. Right? But he made me whole. But41:52he's wrong though. He shouldn't do that.41:53You have to still work. You have to41:54you're you're doing it on Sabbath.41:56You're committing sin. What are you41:57talking about? Right? And he goes, I41:59tell you, but you don't hear.42:02Sound famili42:05understand what I'm saying?42:08Right?42:09Like why is he like I'm just asking a42:12question like people cannot get past42:14themselves. Enemies, brothers.42:17Did you guys ever learn that that angel42:19is actually Satan? No.42:23You understand? Oh, fire.42:26Amen. Because only the Holy Spirit can42:29reveal things like this. Think about it.42:31If it was a good angel, all angels would42:34point and worship stirring up the water42:36and making only Heals. When Jesus moves,42:38he heals everybody around him. Even if42:40someone touch, they get healed. Like why42:42is it only one person? Because that42:44angel is there to distract with works.42:46You understand?42:48That's what it is. So that's when people42:50come in here. How do I from the devil?42:53Because they But shouldn't we be42:54confessing our sins though?42:57Shouldn't we be doing like like But but42:58but Johnny, I understand that. But like,43:00do you understand? It's this heart43:02you right.43:04We're talking about rise, take up thy43:06bed, and walk. Remember who you are.43:08Widow.43:10You understand?43:13But Johnny, why do you have a demon43:14tattoo on your neck? But doesn't the43:17Bible say that tattoos are evil or I'm43:19I'm confused43:22saying you shouldn't have tattoos.43:25I don't have tattoos. Aka works. Don't43:28get tattoos. Notice how everything that43:30opposes God is. You guys have to learn43:32how to read a person's heart,43:35right? It's always workspace. Hey43:37sister, you know you shouldn't be doing43:38that way. Doing what? You know you43:40shouldn't be wearing a dress and making43:41your brother stumble. aka works. I don't43:45wear a dress after me. Yeah, cuz you're43:46ugly. I was mean.43:48Cuz you're ugly,43:52right? I I don't do that. I I love God.43:54Like, think about it, right? There was43:55somebody who I had to check to recently,43:58[snorts] you know, like God really has43:59given me grace. I'm like, "Wow, you44:01know, I love your sermons. It's so44:02amazing." Really? Amen. Amen. And like I44:06I'm actually, you know, you know, and44:08and I'm a virgin. Like, oh, okay, cool.44:11I'm so thankful that God has given me44:13the heart to like be a virgin and and44:16just like I feel so great about that44:18unlike those women you know I just you44:20see it right no but guys she's a she's44:23keeping the law understand what I'm44:25saying what's wrong with that if you44:27can't see that that's pridefully44:30understand if you can't exactly because44:33she's can't she held on to her virginity44:35that's what matters and that's what44:36makes judge other people for it the44:38grace to not do this God gave me the44:41grace to fight my lust and my44:42temptation. Thank God. And I also hope44:44brothers and sisters can do that, too.44:48She even said that. How can they have44:49multiple baby daddies? Like, what are44:51you talking about? Most women are just44:53looking for love. Understand? It's not44:56their fault that they get played. That44:58happens. What are you talking about45:00right now?45:02Right? Like, you should feel bad for45:04that. Oh, no. They they It's like, what45:06are you talking about? There's no45:08compassion. There's no empathy. and they45:10claim to love God.45:13Amen.45:15Brothers and sisters,45:18when you just because someone's acts45:20listing are pointing towards their good45:22works, you understand me, right?45:26Scripture or Jesus, then it's all right.45:28We preach the true gospel here.45:31You know who Jesus was most critical45:34towards?45:35Pharisees.45:37You notice how he was very gentle to the45:40who had six husbands. Five of wanted the45:43sixth one she didn't. She was like he's45:45not even really my husband like he is45:47but I don't treat him like that. Right?45:50Amen. And seven represents completion.45:53When she met Jesus Jesus became husband45:55meaning she was completed and that's why45:57she was gospel. Understand? Very deep45:59right?46:01So he was nice to her. It was nice to46:04rappers. The ones who think that they're46:06all Isn't that ironic?46:11Crazy, huh?46:14Guys, if you have a pherocycle mindset,46:16my Holy Spirit will not allow me to just46:20be nice to you just like they God was46:23saying what Jesus was saying.46:25Understand? For the rest of you guys,46:27you know, saying,46:29right? It's not about being a gangster.46:31It's not about any of that. It's about46:33discernment46:35and say that they're good and say that46:38they're well they'll say that they're46:39wicked hearts they're they're they're46:40lip always like that talk about their46:42own works just pay attention and focus46:45on what they're saying actually try to46:47listen people what are saying they'll46:49always be like why did you lie why did46:51you do that why did you steal why did46:52you I don't do that I don't if the Bible46:55says about you did good and you did that46:59guys you've all cheated47:02spiritually for now. Not physically.47:04Some of you guys have, but you have all47:06cheated. You've all murdered somebody.47:08If you tell me you never hated somebody47:09or was angry with your brother, that's47:11murder. If you call somebody stupid,47:13which we all have, you're worthy of47:16hellfire. It says, do you understand? No47:18one's better than anybody.47:21But people, that's why the greatest sin47:23is unbelief.47:26Right? Amen.47:29Make sense? That's why he we don't47:31believe. That's why47:33I'm so glad that that man with the 3847:36year infirmity,47:38right? Believed in Jesus,47:42right? He could have said, "Bro, I've47:44been here for 30 years. You don't think47:45I tried?" He could have said that and he47:47would have never witnessed a miracle.47:49But instead, he believed and he47:51witnessed a miracle. You guys got that?47:54You'll understand, right?47:57That's the beautiful thing.47:59The Bible says to submit to the48:01servants. Hebrews 13 verse 7 and verse48:0517.48:07They teach you like us. We teach you48:10guys as pastors genuinely,48:14right? Amen.48:17But people48:19they judge even this the message without48:21respecting the messenger. Are you48:23kidding me?48:26It's like a front yard and then your his48:28postal service mail. He's not going to48:30be able to do48:33understand,48:34right? Your your your Amazon package can48:37be prime all it wants. Cocaine Corso,48:40whatever it is, and these big bulldogs,48:42right, bro? Rotter, you got Doberman.48:45Oh, yeah. Trust me, you're not going to48:47get way.48:50Yeah, I respect Jesus, but I don't48:51respect his messengers. Yeah, that48:53sounds familiar. The Israelites said the48:54same thing about Moses and they all die.48:58Understand? Ham. But I I think and I49:01wonder all these smelly animals and49:04everything's rolling and and I'm sure49:06he's like, "Bro, when I get out of here,49:08bro, I'm getting a drink." [laughter]49:10And that's exactly what he did. Sat49:13there and literally planted a vineyard.49:16Do you guys understand that wine? I49:17mean, Jesus's wine, sure. But this was49:19before Jesus, right? Bro sat there and49:22planted the seeds.49:25I'm about to get turned.49:28I'm about to get litty in the city,49:31right? You know how long it had to take49:34him to like plant these grapes and then49:37then get bucket naked after that? He had49:41plenty of time to to to to repent. But49:44you know what's crazy?49:46Even though he did that, God didn't49:48strike him down.49:51Right, Japth, right? Shem they him and49:54they didn't judge him for his sin. But49:56Ham, the youngest one judged him and Ham49:59and Canaanites, right? The his son,50:01right? Canon got urs. Why?50:06Because here's the truth, right? Even50:08though Noah was imperfect, in God's50:11eyes, he was perfect. Even if he drank,50:13that's the difference. No, Noah.50:17These other guys would have died too,50:20respectfully, right? Noah was the50:22messenger,50:24right? But look at Ham's heart.50:28You call yourself a Christian. You're50:30over here laying butt ass naked. Oh,50:34come on, bro. You call I mean, I know50:37you saved me, but what the hell? What's50:39up with all that? What's up with all50:42that? Now, don't you guys have that50:43heart, too?50:46Let me go out there. Let me go out there50:48to catch me in 4K.50:51Wait, but Johnny, you over here talking50:53about lust and but uh what the hell? Do50:58you understand? Right. I'm not saying I50:59would do that, but you understand what51:01I'm saying, right? Catch me with a with51:03a money with a money gun,51:06right? I'm not saying that51:44Noah's was, but in front of God, it's51:47different. You see what I'm saying? It's51:49different, guys. Doesn't have a past.51:51Was Ham better than than Noah just51:54because Noah? No. He's the same. That's51:56why he's like, "Why are you judging51:57him?" You see the difference here,52:00right? A lot of53:43people hated on a gang of people were53:45like, "Bro, this guy's tonality. He53:46thinks he's all that. What the hell?"53:48But guys, trust me, like Christian,53:50right? RIP. He passed away kid,53:54you know? And he's very raw, too. But to53:58him, he was able to listen and he he54:00spit. He was like really like when I54:03heard him I I I could see that he was54:06truly he is in heaven. That's so amazing54:11for a child to know that. You54:13understand? Right. So guys, like it's54:17just about listening. He just54:20regurgitated him. It's so cute. His mom54:22was posting all of his stuff. He's like,54:25"Yo, I'm just I'm just like FedEx." And54:27everybody started laughing. I use that.54:29I'm FedEx. I'm USPS. I'm United States.54:32But I don't care. I love that. That's54:34how much he was studying meard me.54:37That's how much he respected me. I'm not54:38saying he's good, but he learned the54:40gospel to a tea because of that. And the54:43way he spoke was calm, adaptive, and he54:46needed to be passionate where he needed54:48to be and he needed he was loving where54:49he needed. Picked it all up. And he54:51brought all of his friends to me.54:55That's not cuz I don't he doesn't have54:57favor with me just cuz he's treating me54:58well. That's how much he respects the55:01servant of God.55:03Without pastor Kim, there is no Johnny55:06Chang. No pastoring55:08people. The only regret is that I didn't56:48have enough time to actually disciple56:51and have many people saved through him.56:54and bring all of his homies with me. Cuz56:56I know if he had money, he would travel56:58to see me. I already know if he got it,57:01he would come with me. He would learn57:03from me. He would preach for me. And I57:05would need that. Bow our heads.58:56Let us bow our heads.58:58Heavenly Father, thank you so much,59:00Lord, for showing us that it's not about59:02us, but you've already done so for us.59:06You made us sanctified in J. It's not59:07anything that we did, but 2,000 years59:09ago, you pinned all of our sins to the59:12cross.59:14Father God, not of heart or gratitude59:16that we have that can never understand59:18you or repay. But I'm so thankful that59:20you don't want that from us. You just59:22want us to acknowledge, Lord, to59:24acknowledge who you are.59:27There are people that are not with us59:29anymore, but we believe that they're in59:30heaven, Father God, through Acts 16:31.59:34Lord, please,59:36please allow us also to grow. Have the59:39same hearts as these brothers and59:40sisters who preach same heart to be able59:43to soak up all of this knowledge and59:45wisdom. Point it back to your story,59:47Father God. We are people that cannot do59:50anything 30-year infirmity. Please allow59:52us to hit that rock bottom in our hearts59:55so that we can rise, take up our bed,59:58and walk in hope and peace and love and1:00:02mercy. But most of all, Father God,1:00:04although we're not faithful, you are1:00:06faithful. Our unbelief is does nothing1:00:09for you. It does. There's nothing that1:00:11we can do to add to our stature, Father1:00:13God. Rather, we're struggling so we can1:00:16lean on you,1:00:18Lord. Please allow the brothers and1:00:20sisters to hear this message. Please be1:00:22gentle with them, Lord, because a lot of1:00:25them are fighting themselves. They're1:00:26wrestling unstable.1:00:30shepherd them1:00:32places that they can grow. But please be1:00:35gentle, Lord, because when you God, it's1:00:37so painful.1:00:39So painful.1:00:42And God, please protect our children,1:00:44right? Not just physically, but1:00:46spiritually as you did with Christian.1:00:49You've shown your greatest glory. Please1:00:52also protect the brothers and sisters1:00:54and their children's, your kids who are1:00:57here with us. Lord, please guide them.1:01:00They are the next generation, the next1:01:02wave to preach. And may they have not1:01:04only Christians heart, but Paul's heart,1:01:06King, Father God, Pastor Kim's heart,1:01:10Pastor Park's heart to preach this1:01:12precious gospel to the end, Lord. Father1:01:16God, thank you. We pray this prayer of1:01:19gratitude1:01:20for what, Lord. You told us to be1:01:22thankful. rejoice in all things in in1:01:24wealth, in dis in iniquity and in1:01:27infirmity. You said to rejoice,1:01:31Father God. The only reason why we can1:01:33be happy is because you gave us the1:01:35gospel. It's because you sent Jesus1:01:382,000 years ago to die for us, to make1:01:41us righteous and give us to the throne.1:01:44We're so thankful, Father God. Please1:01:46allow us to be peaceful. Please allow us1:01:49to sleep, but more importantly, please1:01:51allow us to surrender. We leave1:01:53everything in your precious name we1:01:55pray. Amen. Amen. See you guys later.1:02:00Talk to you guys tomorrow. Good night.1:02:02Bye.
