These0:09episodes are audio only. So, thank you0:11guys for listening and tuning in. And0:13you can join my Discord to catch the0:15next main stage live. Okay, let's get0:18started. Hello guys.0:20Very, very good talking good. Very good0:25guys. If you guys have any questions, of0:28course, you guys can always ask. I do my0:30very best to uh answer your questions.0:34Okay.0:36Says, "People say asking for a friend0:39all the time, but I'm actually asking0:40for a friend. Can a 18-year-old girl0:42date a 20-year-old man if they both0:45believers and wait and want to wait for0:48sex until honestly at 23 and at 18?0:53the the main focus shouldn't be dating.0:55It should be more about just focusing on0:58the gospel. So, I would have a mediator1:01in between that, which would be either1:04the pastor or one of the elders, one of1:07the deacons. Like, it's just just being1:0918 and 23, guys. Like, I don't know1:12about y'all, but what I wanted at 18 was1:14different than what I wanted at 23. And1:16what I wanted at 23 was different than1:18what I wanted at 28. And what I wanted1:20at 28 is different than what I wanted at1:2233. And now that I'm 36 is different1:25than what I want at 36, too, right? And1:27so it's just better to focus on the1:30gospel. It's the best thing to do1:32genuinely. Um, yeah. So, Johnny, when1:36thoughts from the enemy come, do I1:38ignore them? You can, or you can just1:41acknowledge it and be like, okay, these1:42are from the enemy. You can go straight1:44to God about that. It's really good to1:46do that as well. Um, yeah, I would say1:49that. Hello. I'm struggling to pray for1:52others out loud while I am currently1:54serving at a church. Has anyone been1:56through this? I have the heart to serve1:58the church, but I feel awkward or maybe1:59even a little hesitant to pray for2:00others out loud. Uh, it's because we2:02care about what we sound like. It's okay2:05if you mess up. Christianity is not2:07about performative stuff. Just have an2:10honest conversation. And if you ha, and2:13there's nothing, you don't have to like2:14go fast. So you could pray and pause. A2:19lot of people don't use the pause. Pause2:21is really good in that it allows people2:25to process things. So if you sit there2:28and let's say you lose your train of2:29thought. Father God, thank you so much2:31for allowing me to serve at church.2:33Boom. Your mind just goes blank right2:34there. So let's let's run it, right?2:36Father God, thank you so much for2:38allowing me to serve at church. And I'm2:40very thankful, Father God, that you2:42chose a vessel like me who does not know2:45how to pray well. And I'm thankful like2:47right, you see the pausing, it actually2:49allows us to think deeper about the2:51prayer. So you don't have to worry too2:53much about, you know, praying well. And2:56if you are worried about it's because2:58you want to pray well. No, it's just a3:00conversation for somebody. So yeah, I3:04would say I would say that um yeah, hey3:07pastor, hope all is well. For the f for3:09the past few days, I've been in a heated3:11situation with the father of my kids.3:13He's claiming I brought someone into our3:15home while he was away at work through a3:17recording he heard from his desk and3:20claims he knows who it might be. I told3:22him no one comes in our home without him3:23knowing and I was upstairs the whole3:25time with our kids. I also asked him to3:27show me the recording and refuses to3:28show me, saying I will change the3:30narrative. I know our relationship has3:31been rocky, but I know I've been loyal3:33to him. He also tells me the spirit told3:36him to listen to this recording and that3:38the spirit has been telling him that I3:40am no good. How do I navigate through3:43this? Because having a hard time being3:46tormented about this every day now I'm3:48mad, I'm sad, I'm tired, and every day I3:50pray and tell God I trust him. Start3:52feeling peace. He comes and just brings3:55doubts in me. I think it's um important3:58to continue doing what you're doing by4:01bringing it to God obviously but there4:04are certain people who trust in4:05themselves and you cannot change the4:08perspective.4:09You can tell him that you're not4:12cheating and the believing has to be up4:15to him. He has to believe in what you're4:19saying and you know or he has to trust4:22his thoughts. But if you just allow him4:25to believe in what he says, then it will4:27escalate to a point where he's just4:29going to keep trusting in himself. So4:32that's the scary thing about people who4:33trust and believe in themselves and who4:35are performative and legalistic. Is they4:37think that every voice inside of them is4:39from God. The issue here is not that4:42every voice that comes to them is not4:43from God. The thing is they believe4:46every single one of these voices are4:47from God. So they're easily persuaded.4:49They're easily manipulated by the the4:52the enemy. And so you ask him, "If you4:56really think I'm no good, then what what4:59should I do?" Like, "Don't you believe5:00that God would correct me? Why don't you5:03have faith that he would cor?" So he5:04would just say, "No good and just5:06abandon people." I don't think the Holy5:08Spirit abandons people, right? So you5:10can ask him little things like this. And5:13I'm I'm guaranteeing it's probably going5:14to end up in some kind of, you know, um,5:19pressure on his end because he's going5:21to feel like you're right, but he may5:23not want to submit or he may receive5:25grace to submit. I think it's important5:28um to believe that that God is working5:31regardless. And so, yeah, I think he5:35just has a lot of insecurities and you5:37can talk to him about that, but you also5:39have to give him a heart to not just be5:42right, but to be like, "Hey, either you5:44listen to what I say or you trust your5:46thoughts. I cannot compete with your5:47thoughts." And I'm telling you right5:49now, it will end if you continue to5:52trust your thoughts. I don't need to5:53cheat on you. I don't need to hide. I5:56genuinely don't want to do those things.5:58And I'm trying to walk with God. I6:00believe I and tell him I live in front6:02of God. I believe even if I was to cheat6:04on you that God would have to correct me6:06and I wouldn't be able to do it in front6:08of him. And you can kind of share your6:10heart and see what he says after that.6:12All right.6:14My mom is lukewarm with her true6:16identity. She believes it's Jesus by6:18faith alone now as a Christian. But she6:19tells me that her foundation of6:21Catholicism, which she was a kid, left6:23her with a lot of head knowledge. But I6:24see she hasn't completely surrendered to6:26the truth. We tune into the Bible6:28studies together and she loves it. But6:30how can I steer her towards the full6:31truth of the gospel? I've yet to6:33confront her sort of in between beliefs6:36yet because I don't know how she'll take6:38it. You don't need to confront her sort6:39of in between beliefs. You have sort of6:41in in between beliefs, too. Right? I6:44mean, you're always in your head and6:46you're always trusting your thoughts,6:47too. And we're really unsure of a lot of6:49things, too. Our job is not to confront6:52people.6:53You have an expectation of your mom and6:56that expectation is not from God. We6:58don't do the job of saving them. We The7:01fact that she's there listening like7:02that's a beautiful thing. I mean, think7:05about it. The issue here is basically7:06what you're saying is she doesn't7:08listen. She tunes in, sure, but she's7:10not completely surrendered to the truth.7:12Now, what about you, Stanley? Right.7:14Respectfully, right? I'm not trying to7:16go at you. I just want you to listen7:17carefully. Right? If you think about it,7:20um I've told you many times and everyone7:22in here many many times we're not the7:24savior. Expectations come from Satan and7:27we just kind of blow that off, right?7:29No, I've never asked you to conf I've7:31never asked any of you guys to confront7:33anybody. So the fact that you want to7:36confront her about her in between7:37belief, it's coming from you. That's7:40your expectation. I've never said to7:42confront anybody here. I I I said in7:45fact the opposite that all of this is7:47for you guys. It's not for your mom.7:48It's not for your dad. It's not for your7:49brother. It's for you. But we we don't7:52do a good job of listening either.7:53Right? If that's the case, then how do7:56we deal with this? Right? We have to7:58realize, oh, we're the same. That's the8:00whole point is she needs grace, you need8:03grace. And you don't have to worry8:05about, you know, whether or not she8:07listens or doesn't listen because faith8:09comes by hearing, hearing the word of8:11God. She's in the Bible studies and she8:12loves it. Think about that for a second,8:15right? She's Catholic. She's learned a8:18lot of legalistic things, a lot of8:19things from the past that she has to8:21unlearn.8:22And um she sits in my Bible class8:27listening to my Bible studies. Like, I8:29mean, what more can you ask for? That's8:32actually very beautiful. I mean, there's8:34a lot of people that don't do that.8:36There's a lot of people that genuinely8:39struggle. they struggle. Um they don't8:42they don't they're not thankful for this8:44gospel. Even people in here, we're we're8:46not thankful for it. We hear it and then8:48we just get sick of it, you know, and we8:50want to learn other things and want to8:52learn unlocks. So the fact that she's in8:54here, she listens. It's such a beautiful8:56thing. But that's what happens with uh8:59expectations for everybody here.9:01Expectations what they do is they they9:03just kind of almost blanket and cover9:06all of the gratitude. When you have9:08expectations, then things die. Like9:12gratitude will die. You know how many9:14people would kill just to even have9:16their own moms coming in here learning9:18from the Bible classes. But most9:21people's mothers are like, "Don't listen9:22to him. He doesn't know what the hell9:23he's talking about." And yet you have a9:25mom who's in here listening, right?9:27Who's uh you know, taking notes and and9:30loving the Bible. Not just liking, but9:32loving the Bible classes. Like at the9:34end of the day, it's just like where's9:36our faith, right? We have to have faith.9:38We have to have faith. So, I hope you9:40can see too that oh, I'm a person who I9:43have a lot of like my wants and my needs9:46and um those things are never going to9:48be met. And even if they're met, you're9:51going to have another want and another9:52need. So, this is just for everybody9:54here to just be cautious about that. Can9:57I ask for a verse or help? I'm Korean9:59Christian and my girlfriend is Ethiopian10:01Christian. Dad passed away but always10:03wish he met her. Uh, I know mom wants me10:06to marry a Korean and I tell her10:08unlikely, so it gets tense. How do I10:09convince mom biblically to be open to it10:11before I introduce them? Uh, you can't.10:14I mean, at the end of the day, right,10:15they're kind of stuck in their own10:16mindset. I understand it being Asian.10:18You know, Asians want to marry Asians.10:20They look at America and they're just10:22like, "What the hell is going on here?10:23It's just a a melting pot of religions10:26and and people." And but but you have to10:29understand her heart posture. Your mom10:31only wants us because she thinks she10:33knows what's best for you. And so you10:35have to talk to her about that. You have10:36to say, "Mom, I really do appreciate10:38that you know what's best for me or you10:39want what's best for me. However, I also10:42have to live my life. And if I have to10:43learn, I can also learn too this way. I10:45hope you don't look down on me, but I'm10:47really, really happy. You know, Mom, me10:49and you, we're connected. Your happiness10:51is my happiness. My happiness is your10:52happiness." You know, yes, you may be10:55right on certain things, but you could10:56also be wrong. And I believe in God,10:58Father, that that that he my father,11:01that he's going to help me and he's11:03going to show me things better than you11:05could ever teach me. And I appreciate11:06you for always looking out for me. But,11:08you know, mom, I I also want to be able11:10to explore this. And I believe under11:12God, it would help, you know. So I think11:15it's just important to11:17I don't know understand that they are11:21coming from a really um humanistic kind11:24of loving perspective but they're11:26imposing a lot of things onto you. And11:29so it's it's important to just11:32understand that they just care about11:34you. And that's what you have to11:35validate is, hey, I appreciate you for11:38trying to care for me. And I know that11:40you care about me. And I know that you11:42just ultimately want to look out for me.11:44But I also believe in God. I believe in11:47Jesus Christ. And I believe that he's11:49going to help me. And I believe that he11:51will see all the blind spots you cannot11:53see. You know, and you've tried your11:55best and I appreciate you. And you know,11:57I I will like I just want to I just want12:00that, right? And it's really beautiful12:03when you think about it from that12:04perspective. Okay. Uh can you explain12:08Revelation 22:18-19? Yeah, that's the12:11verse that says if you remove from the12:13word um then the plagues will be added12:16unto you. If you uh take away, if you12:18add, right? Um yeah, the the warning12:22here is about um tampering with God's12:26revelation. Meaning he revealed the12:29gospel through Jesus Christ. If you12:31tamper with that, that's a problem. So,12:33legalism, uh, it's addressing legalism,12:36it's addressing workspace things, it's12:38addressing anything that says, I don't12:40need Jesus. I I can do it with Jesus or12:42I can do it by myself. So, if you add to12:45the word, like for example, if we say12:46you're perfected and righteous forever,12:49and then you add extra to it by saying,12:51well, yes, we're perfected and12:52righteous, but we also have to continue12:53to like work on ourselves and our faith12:56will produce works. And like when you12:58start doing this, then you get into kind13:00of like scary scary territory. You don't13:02lose your salvation based off of that ba13:05based off of being evil. You lose your13:08salvation when you temper with the the13:10the the message of salvation, right?13:12Because you don't believe then you don't13:14believe, right? So um yeah, basically,13:18you know, God is talking about this13:20book, this specific scroll, right? when13:23you think about the Bible um you know13:26he's also speaking about not just that13:29one particular instance but the whole13:31Bible in itself right uh a true believer13:34however cannot lose your salvation so he13:37has to make it very clear God says do13:40not remove certain things from the Bible13:43specifically about salvific things which13:45is the gospel do not change and and13:49change his message or preach a preach a13:51false doctrine13:53as they say. So,13:56yeah. Yeah, it kind of comes down to13:58that at the end of the day. Pastor, do14:01you have advice on what I should do with14:05family members against you, but not so14:08much on spiritual matters, but on other14:10things? Apparently, I'm not14:12appreciative. I'm selfish and all these14:14other things. When I try to speak with14:15my mom, especially, she never lets me14:18speak and just yells, "Get to the point14:19when she's looks like a 2-year-old14:21throwing a really bad tantrum. I'm14:24tired."14:25So, I think you're tired because you're14:28trying to like understand her, but it's14:32not a place where she wants to be14:34understood, right? So, that's normal.14:36What you have to do is you have to go to14:37Matthew 11:28, which is go to God,14:40right? Jesus says, "Come to me." He14:42doesn't say figure it out first. He14:43says, "Come to me first." Right? And so14:45you just go um the other thing you have14:48to realize is when someone doesn't let14:49you speak, when they interrupt you, when14:50they yell at you, for example,14:53um then there's the issue is no longer14:57what you guys are discussing. It's now14:59more about like either fear or control15:02or like unresolved pain, right? So, if15:06your parent is is kind of yelling and15:09doing this tantrum like behavior, it15:13means number one, they're probably15:14threatened, and it's not necessarily by15:16you, but maybe by like the loss of15:17control. Um, maybe they don't know how15:20to process what you're saying, which is15:23a disagreement. Um, so that happens too,15:26or they feel like you're stepping on15:28their boundaries or like disrespecting15:30their boundaries. It could be a15:31multitude of things. I don't know,15:32right? But what I do know is you can't15:35reason with people like that because you15:38tried. Um but you you don't have to stay15:41in that conversation. You don't need to15:44answer is it says in Proverbs 26:4,15:47"Answer not a fool according to his15:49folly, lest thou also be like unto him."15:51What that means is you don't answer15:53somebody who's doing all of that. You15:55kind of like remove yourself actually.15:57So I'm not saying your mom is a fool,15:59right? It means like if you stay there16:03then it only it's only going to escalate16:05right which is what what's been16:06happening. So I would say you know you16:10don't have to explain yourself16:12especially in heated moments just be16:14like all right mom if you're going to16:15yell at me like respectfully I'm just16:17going to stay quiet then just tell her16:19like I don't really know what else to16:20do. It's very draining right? You could16:22tell her I want to talk but I can't do16:24it when I'm being yelled at. So, I'm16:26going to just step away for now and then16:28just step away. Don't reexplain. Don't16:30debate. Don't, you know, defend. Just16:32just step away. It's okay. So, she's16:36going to try try to ask you to justify16:37your boundary, but you just got to keep16:40your boundary. You don't have to justify16:41it. This is my boundary. I'm not going16:42to talk to you when you're yelling at16:44me. I got to step away. I'm sorry. Amen.16:46And so I think also you have to realize16:48when someone is disregulated16:51like she she is then you can't you can't16:54really like if someone is emotionally16:56flooded they can't hear the truth. Like16:59you guys too when you're super emotional17:01you can't hear the truth. You just want17:03to fight. Like even if you're gentle17:05right like you you just you you17:07interpret everything as bad. That's just17:09how it is. It's kind of wild. All right.17:12So yeah if she's calling you selfish17:13like you said she's saying you're17:15ungrateful. she's accusing you of these17:17things. Well then, and it's weighing you17:20down. That's definitely not from God,17:23right? Because God convicts you. He17:25doesn't accuse you. Accusers are17:26actually from Satan, right? So, I think17:30you have to also accept that you may17:32never be understood by someone who, you17:34know, wants you to be small in in order17:37for them to feel okay, right? So, there17:39are some people who they need you to17:41stay small so that they could feel good.17:45I'm not saying your mom's like that.17:47Hear me out. Right. I'm saying that17:48potentially though, without her17:51realizing it, if you flex, then she's17:55going to feel like, nah, this is17:57threatening. And then so she'd want you17:58to back off. There are people there who18:00just want you to just stay small so that18:04they can feel better. And so you kind of18:07have to just step away from that and let18:09them realize and let them process that,18:11right? And so I think you're also18:13absorbing a lot of emotional abuse, but18:16at the same time, you have to realize18:17too that she's kind of dragged. She's18:21dragged. Um, and you're trying to kind18:23of be her savior. When you say, "I'm so18:25tired, pastor." Right? You end it with18:26that, right? You're tired because you18:28try to be patient. You try You're tired18:29because you try to be respectful. You18:31try to be loving. The thing is like18:34that's only what Jesus can do. When you18:36try to do it, you can't really do it.18:38Amen. So, you have to ask yourself like,18:40are you trying to truly be peaceful?18:42Then even if she's unpaceful, you can18:44still be peaceful. I would say though, I18:47think you're trying to win understanding18:49from someone who isn't ready to give you18:50their understanding. Does that make18:52sense? I think you want someone to18:55understand you when they're not ready to18:56understand you. And that's actually18:58what's making you tired. It's not your18:59mom just doing it's 50/50, right? When19:03someone is not going to give you their19:04understanding or their ear, that's19:06what's going to tire you out because19:07there's obviously a heart, right? Hey,19:12if you're enjoying this episode, I have19:14a whole other video episode on all19:16platforms, YouTube, Spotify, Instagram,19:19all that every single Monday. Each19:21episode is a gospel- centered lesson19:23that you could apply to your life today.19:26So, this is more conversational. You19:27guys know my team, Jeremy and Aaron. We19:29just have a lot of fun. We joke around19:31but we get serious. We get vulnerable.19:34It's just very very different and it's19:36beautiful. I hope you guys can tune in19:38and we made this for you guys. So please19:40enjoy. When do we know we are ready to19:43hear our heart posture? You don't19:45actually. You just kind of say it and19:48then it happens. You know, it's really19:51not you. It's kind of up to the person19:53dropping that. So it would be up to me19:55to know when you guys are ready to hear19:57it. And even then I don't know when19:59you're ready to hear it. Sometimes I do20:00it, you know what I mean? For the first20:03like, how do I say? Like, sometimes I20:06just do it by faith the first time20:08around. It's always by faith. Any tips20:11for a first time flyer? I want to go on20:13this trip in March, but I'm crippled in20:15fear and anxiety. Yeah, just understand20:17that, you know, your life is not in your20:19hands. That your life is also in God's20:22hands, and that it doesn't like there's20:25nothing you can do to really protect it.20:26Now, obviously, it's okay to be fearful,20:28but you have to trust the word like,20:30"Oh, God's with me. God is with me20:33100%." You know, and so it's it's very20:36important to recognize that and20:39continuously repeat that. Repeat that in20:41your brain, you know, God is with me.20:44God loves me. God's not going to hurt20:46me. And can he not? It's not like he's20:49he's the one who has to hold on to the20:50plane. So yeah, I decided to take the20:54jump and move to a bigger city still20:56within a couple hours from my mom, which20:58was very emotionally dependent on me,20:59especially after my dad passed. I went21:02into this with the mindset of having21:03faith that wasn't meant for me, that21:06what's meant for me will be for me, and21:08if it's not meant, then God will take me21:10away. Found out I was approved for my21:12apartment today. How can I know if I'm21:14making the wrong choice and being21:15selfish or thinking on my personal21:16desires or if this or isn't a path? I21:20mean, how can you how can you know that,21:23right? Even asking me, like I wouldn't21:25know that. So, what you're supposed to21:26do is you're supposed to move forward21:28and God will show you. Uh the thing that21:30I see with a lot of people is that21:31they're trying to figure out, right,21:33which isn't inherently bad, but they're21:35trying to figure out like I don't want21:37to be selfish, is this for my own21:38personal desire as if we can have a say21:41in not being selfish like respectfully,21:44right? Like, oh, like if I tell you,21:46right, sister, don't be selfish. Go back21:48and move with your mom. like you're not21:50going to do it.21:52You know what I mean? Like and you won't21:53do it like wholeheartedly. You might do21:55it because you're like, "Okay, I respect21:56Johnny, but you're not going to do it21:58wholeheartedly." So that's why like22:00these types of questions, it's not that22:02it's a bad thing. It's like we have to22:04realize where we're asking from. If they22:06if you got approved for your apartment,22:08go in and move into the apartment and22:09see what happens. Walk by faith. Yeah,22:12you may go through some hard things.22:13Maybe, you know, your mom will become22:15more dependent or you may fold or you22:17may lose your job or then that's all22:20from God anyways. Like we just move22:22forward, guys. We don't know what's what22:24what the what the future entails. But22:26that's why we need faith and of course22:28plan those things. Try to align22:30everything with the gospel. Sure, but22:32still you need grace at the end of the22:33day. Understand, right? Pastor, how can22:37we deal with persecution from our22:38significant others? context is, "My22:40fianceé thinks Good News Mission Church22:42is a cult after getting sent Reddits by22:44her sister." For sure. Let her think22:46that, right? It's just she's blind to22:48seeing you change. I'm sorry. Right,22:51Damon? Think about it. Leave it alone.22:53Just be like, "Hey, I don't know what22:54you think, but if you look at me, like,22:56do you think I've changed? And if so,22:59like, why does it matter what Reddits23:00say?" You know what I mean? Show me a23:03church that doesn't have a controversy.23:04Show me a church that doesn't have23:06issues, right? People are always looking23:08for like the perfect church and they're23:09not even the perfect people. It doesn't23:11make sense to me, right? It's it's just23:13weird. It's like and and it's it's23:15really because she's good. And I I don't23:18think you should say that, right? If you23:19tell her, "Hey, you're good." She23:20probably close her heart to you. But I'm23:22telling you what it is for you to23:24understand for future reference. Like23:26people who ever persecute anyone else,23:28it's only because they think they're23:29good. There's no I don't care how they23:30spin it. It's really because they're23:32good. A good person will always nitpick23:35somebody else. they'll never look at23:37themselves. So, I would I would kind of23:40like, you know, she needs to receive23:41salvation. That's just what it is at the23:43end of the day, you know? And yeah, and23:46you you you you follow this quote23:48unquote cult and you let her follow her23:50sister and then later on just ask her23:52like how how happy are you? All the23:55people that persecute us, I guarantee23:56you one thing, they're not as happy as23:58us.23:59That's the one thing. That's what's24:01funny, right? That's like it doesn't24:03make sense. It's like a single person24:05trying to tell somebody else how to have24:07a relationship. You know, it's like,24:09"Oh, I'm going to talk about cults, but24:10I myself cannot get myself out of my the24:12cult of my feelings, the cult of my24:16selfrust." That's a cult. Understand?24:18They can't even get themselves out of24:19it, too. But you can't say that to them.24:21You just have to live, Damon. You have24:23to live. And as you live, people will24:25see. The Lord's prayer says, "Hallowed24:27be thy name." Does this mean to refer to24:29Yahweh or Jesus? When we pray, it means24:32to refer to one person. either Jesus or24:34Yahweh because they're both hallowed.24:36They all go to one, right? So, they're24:38all one anyways. What's the difference24:40between free will versus go God drawing24:43someone to him? My sister doesn't think24:44God can save my unbelieving husband24:46because my husband has free will. So,24:49for that, you can't even get into it24:51with them respectfully. Uh because she24:54already has her own judgment on that.24:56Like, the fact that you're getting into24:58that conversation with them is not going25:00to do you any good. theologically25:02speaking, that's flawed. But basically25:04what they're saying is like convince me25:07what like you're also asking me and what25:09she's asking you is to convince her of25:11something she doesn't even believe in.25:13You know what I mean? Like so how do I25:15answer that, right? Like you got to see25:18it from the from the from the25:19foundational perspective, right? She25:21doesn't think God can save your25:23unbelieving husband right there. It's25:24already off. What do you mean he saves a25:26bunch of unbelievers? He already has25:292,000 years ago. But she has this25:30preconceived notion that he has to25:33choose. Understand? Of course. I mean,25:37they forget people. It's weird how25:38people forget that they didn't come out25:40choosing God. They came out going25:42against God. All of us did. And yet,25:44somehow we ended up here. So, she25:46doesn't really have compassion in her25:47heart. Respectfully, she just thinks25:49like, "Oh, yeah. He's not going to do25:51it." She thinks deep down that she's25:52better. That's the issue here. But if25:54you say that, again, this is what's so25:56difficult about being a minister is that25:59when you tell people the real, like a26:00lot of people can't handle it. You know26:03what I'm saying? Like even myself, like26:05I say this about myself too. Like26:06there's things in my life that I can't26:08say fully because a lot of us can't26:09handle it. And there's things that I26:11don't want to be told about my life that26:12also I can't handle. So that's the26:15difficulty and that's why it's God's26:16job, not ours. Make sense? Like it's26:20just how it is. You know, at the end of26:22the day, we all think we have control26:24over things. We all think that we love26:26things. We all think that we have a say26:27in things. We have nothing. We literally26:29have grace. That's all it is. There's26:31nothing that we can genuinely do. Now,26:34that message right there is freeing to a26:36lot of people, but it's also bonding to26:38a lot of people. It it puts people in26:39bondage because the ones who are work26:41space will be like, "Then what do I do?"26:43And the ones who are gray space will be26:45like, "Wow, thank you. That makes sense.26:47Like, I literally can't do anything." So26:49again, depending on the heart posture,26:51this message can can be convoluted. It26:53can be misconstrued because it's not I'm26:56I'm saying one thing, but people are26:58misinterpreting it multiple ways, right?27:01There's genuinely nothing that we can27:02do. If you love biblical lessons like27:05this, then you would love my weekly27:07Bible class. Bible class brings clarity,27:09community, and consistency. There are a27:11lot of us who read the Bible, but we27:13don't know how to apply that to our27:14lives. Consistency. Also, a lot of you27:16guys want to read the Bible, and you27:18don't know where to start, how to start,27:20and therefore it kind of discourages you27:22guys to read the Bible. So, every week27:24at on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. Pacific27:26Standard Time, we go through one chapter27:29and we break down every single verse and27:31apply those verses to your life. And27:33after the Bible class, we also do a27:35group mentor session where it's you can27:38ask me customized questions and anything27:41about the class and anything about your27:42own life. If this sounds interesting to27:44you, you guys can check the link in the27:47bio and use code wisdom to get 50% off27:49your first month. See you guys this27:51Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard27:54Time. I have a question. My little27:56sister is struggling, 17. She's dating a27:58guy who isn't a believer and doesn't28:00know if she should still see him. She28:01prayed on what to do and the next and28:04the sermon the next day was about28:06dating. I mean, preach the gospel to her28:09and tell her to preach the gospel to28:10that guy. And if he doesn't listen, then28:11he should she shouldn't date him. It's28:14really that simple. Tell her, "Preach28:16the gospel. Learn the gospel, then28:18preach to them." How do you deal with28:19friends turning their back on you and28:21rejecting Jesus when you try to talk28:22about him around them? I I don't I don't28:24talk about my Jesus around my friends28:27because I know that it'll close them.28:29Like I said, a truth, you know, some28:30people are not ready for the truth.28:32People think that they're ready for the28:34truth. They're not, right? The truth is28:36they're miserable because they don't28:37have guidance in their life. They're28:39miserable because they they don't have28:40Jesus. But if you say that to someone,28:42they're going to think that you're28:43imposing Christianity on them. The truth28:45is, if they don't change their heart,28:47they're going to burn in hell forever.28:48But if you say that to someone, do you28:50understand how that's going to make them28:52it's going to be like what? Like it's So28:54what we have to learn to do is is kind28:56of like sit there and and listen28:58carefully to what the Bible says about29:00gaining people's hearts. So, you know,29:03learning learning about these things.29:05It's important. Understood, I guess. But29:08people who have a high heart, they don't29:10they just think like they think yelling29:12at people and warning them is what it29:14is. Like that's not it. People like that29:16have never saved a soul. Guys, if you've29:19never saved a soul, don't type anything29:21respectfully, right? I'm not trying to29:22be mean. Like, if you've never saved a29:24soul in your life, you've never mentored29:26people, you've never actually like don't29:28say, "Oh, I need to break a person's arm29:30to show them." Like, you haven't even29:31done that. You don't have disciples.29:34Like, right. That's a that's that's a29:35God-honest truth. Like, we have to be29:36humble about these things. I may not say29:38it nicely, but it's true. A lot of29:41people, they're they're kind of29:42different. Like, they tell other people29:43how to walk when they themselves have29:45never even walked that walk. Understand29:47what I'm saying, right? They have high29:49high expectations, you know? And they29:51don't even know what it means to be29:52saved. You guys understand what I'm29:54saying? They're just high-hearted. They29:56get mad even at this message, right?29:58I'll say it again. They get mad even at30:00this message. Understand? They're30:03frustrated deep down because people the30:05issue with them is that they put30:08themselves as like you know the main30:10savior. It's like no Jesus does it all.30:13That's all we're talking about. But30:15sadly people are like ah no I I do it. I30:18think I have to do something like who's30:19the savior though brothers and sisters.30:21It's a very simple thing right? Make30:24sense? Understand? If you guys are going30:26to answer people's chats number one30:28please exit out and then you know create30:30your own thing. Number two, please have30:33humility to read the rules when you30:35enter in any chat room respectfully,30:37right? You should you should at least30:39read the rules, right? I mean, we can't30:41be that high-hearted. You guys got that?30:44So, that's what happens when you guys30:45see the legalism kind of seep in. Amen.30:49They think they're all that. That's the30:51issue here. So, uh again, you know, read30:54the rules when you guys come in. watch30:56the salvation video because when I talk30:59about grace and they're all about31:00themselves because they think they're31:01they're hotish. You know what I mean? Oh31:04yeah, I saved people. I did this. I did31:05that. People like this, they can never31:07hear this message cuz they think they're31:09all that. Understand? Genuinely, guys.31:12Genuinely, you guys can see it. We're31:14not stupid. We all have the Holy Spirit31:15here. We can see clearly who is who,31:19right? Legalism is dangerous in this31:20way. It makes you think that you're all31:22that and you're a little like like31:24nothing. We're we're ants compared to31:26God. All of us. All of us. Myself31:28included. We're little ants. We're31:30nothing. But it's like, look at me. I31:32did this. I did that. I did that. It's31:34like, sheesh. Dang, you're a gangster,31:36man. You're super good. Honestly, you're31:37super amazing. Sounds like a Pharisee to31:39me, though. Amen. If you guys were31:41really busy saving people, you wouldn't31:42be here. And none of you And you guys31:45know it's not an issue. It's not an31:47issue. It's only an issue to those31:49people who think that they're all that.31:51That's the problem. Do you guys31:53understand what I'm saying? Right?31:54That's the issue. All of you guys are31:57humble. So you guys know what I'm31:58talking about. The ones who aren't31:59humble, they'll continuously talk about32:01their works. I did this. I did that. I32:03did that. Guys, we're not here for that.32:05Understand? Tell me about what Jesus did32:06in your life. Don't tell me what you did32:08for Jesus. Christianity is not me doing32:11anything for God. It's God doing32:12everything for me without him dying on32:15the cross respectfully.32:17Amen. We're not getting into heaven.32:21Amen. But there's it's a lot of childish32:23behavior, right guys? Amen. Genuinely32:26genuinely Christianity, a lot of people32:28don't know this. It's not us giving our32:30lives up for God. That's contrary to32:32what people believe. Christianity is32:34Jesus giving his life up for us. Hello.32:38Like it's not that hard to understand.32:40But the issue is it takes the spotlight32:42off of people who care only about their32:45works. Cuz now now you can't say32:48anything. You can't boast. And now they32:49get pissed. That's really what the issue32:52is. Oh, I can't say anything. Like, I32:55can't say that I saved people, so now32:57I'm mad. I don't like this message. Do32:58you guys understand? No. But the message33:00was always like that. Jesus Christ died33:02for me and you. There's nothing that me33:05and you could ever do, even if our33:06obedience. Trust me, there's Buddhists33:08that I talk to, they're way better than33:09us, guys. They're super disciplined. Do33:12you understand? They're super dis way33:13more disciplined than you guys. They33:15pray more than you guys. They fast more33:16than you guys. They're super33:17disconnected. They don't sin. They don't33:18they they don't fall into, you know,33:20lust and all that, but are they getting33:21to heaven? No, they're not because they33:24don't have the blood of Jesus,33:25respectfully. So, people don't realize,33:28they think like, oh, it's this is what33:29I'm supposed to do. Like, no.33:32Understand? So, again, people can't I'm33:35talking to every single one of you guys,33:36but specifically those who are33:38legalistic. The ones who who know what33:40I'm saying, please, you know, don't33:41worry about it, right? Legalism is the33:44biggest thing. It it it it makes people33:46think that they're all that. Guys, we33:47are nothing. We're created out of dirt.33:49Not diamond, not gold, not silver.33:51Created literally out of dirt. Amen. And33:54with the breath of God in our lungs,33:56that's what makes us do things. Stop33:58sitting there thinking that you did34:00anything for God. Literally, if he34:02doesn't give you the breath in your34:03lungs this morning, you die. You can't34:05even sin. So, stop thinking you're all34:07that. You're not. It's just it's it's34:09not. This is biblical. We are holy dirt.34:12That's all it is. Amen. That's the34:15problem with people. All right. And if34:17you can't if you can't be aligned with34:19that, then you guys are going to be34:21removed. Why? Because it doesn't matter.34:24It doesn't matter at the end of the day34:25what I say. It doesn't matter at the end34:28of it. They'll interpret everything as34:30uh legalism, as works. As I did that, I34:33did this. I'm great. I did. Look at me.34:35Look at how great I am. Look at how many34:37people I have. Look at this. Look at34:38that. It's like, dude, no one cares34:39about that. It's all works. Genuinely.34:42Genuinely. All right. Amen. So yeah, and34:47I don't need echo chambers. I don't need34:49people to be like, "Oh, yeah, that's34:50true, and that's right, and you're34:52correct." And you know what I need you34:53to understand is go, "Dang, that's who I34:55am. I'm exactly who Johnny's talking34:57about. I'm this guy who sits here and34:59haven't even read the Bible, doesn't35:00even understand what salvation actually35:02is. I don't lead people. I get mad cuz35:04people tell me that I don't lead people.35:05Dang, I'm a person who really needs to35:07listen." Not. Yeah. Mhm. That makes35:09sense. All right, cool. Checkbox. Next35:11one. Oh, you didn't. That doesn't make35:12sense. Not checkbox. Like, I don't need35:13that. You got that right?35:17Amen. Okay. All right. Cuz we could go35:20verse for verse. You understand? And35:22it's going to we're going to see who we35:24can test the spirits here very easily.35:26Amen. I'm sorry, guys. We have to be35:28humble. We have to be humble in front of35:30God. And what I mean by that is not35:31tonality. You can act humble all you35:33want. I'm talking about heart posture.35:36Amen. Brothers and sisters, when you35:37look at people, you have to realize 135:39Corinthians chapter 9:22. Ella, can you35:41pull that up, please? You guys have to35:43realize what 1 Corinthians 9:22 speaks35:46about. It's very clear. It's how we gain35:49people's hearts. Watch. Read it35:51carefully. To the weak became I as weak.35:54So to the weak Paul becomes weak, right?35:57That I might gain the weak. Got it? I am36:00made all things to all men that I might36:01by all means save some. You understand,36:04right, guys? You're all things to all36:06men. You're everything. Contrary to what36:09people believe, right? What do they say?36:10Tell them the truth even if it breaks36:12them. They need to know what sin is when36:14they don't even know what sin actually36:15is. Understand guys? Right? A lot of you36:18guys didn't know prior to learning to me36:20what sin actually really was. Amen.36:23Watch. I'll show you guys what is sin.36:24What is sin to those who don't know and36:26those who have heard me don't say36:28anything. Let's see what happens here.36:30Let's expose a little bit of hearts here36:32because it's beautiful to humble people.36:34Amen. I'm I'm talking about just in36:36scripture though, right? I'm not saying36:37I'm better than you guys. I'm saying we36:39really really need to come to this36:40conclusion of not legalism and we're all36:42that when we don't know anything at all.36:44Sin is deeper than people think. It's it36:46has not only infected the hearts of36:48humanity. It has infected the spirit of36:50the earth. What what does that mean36:51scripturally? Can you give me scripture?36:52What does that mean? Right? So guys, you36:55guys know you guys know me. I only talk36:57about scripture. So let's talk about36:59scripture. Let's talk about scripture37:01really quickly. Right? If you're37:02googling it right there, you have to37:04feel conviction. Cuz if you can't pull37:06it up from from Bible verses, like you37:08should be in your word like the Barryian37:09church tells us to. Amen, Jot. Very37:12good. Very very good. There's scripture37:14for that. If you're googling and you're37:17chatting, listen to me carefully right37:19now. You should feel conviction because37:21this is basic elementary stuff. You guys37:24got that right? Notice how So, son of37:26God, can you answer the question? Where37:28in scripture does it say that? Can you37:29give me scripture, please? Cuz I'm not37:31saying you're wrong. I just need37:32scripture to back this up. Otherwise,37:34how do I know what you're saying is37:36true? It could be subjective. Amen. It37:38It makes sense to you. I don't I'm not37:40here to make sense. I'm here to make37:41scripture. It's okay. It's okay. Don't37:43worry, guys. They're coming over anyway.37:45So, yeah. Anything to do without faith37:47is sin. Uh true. But I'm talking about37:50the nature of sin. What is this nature37:52of sin? You're right. You're right,37:53James. That's actually really good.37:55Right. So, I want to restore you guys.37:57Amen. Right. What I'm hearing here from38:00a lot of people is people are thinking38:02that it's an action. Like lust, envy,38:05hatred, jealousy. Isn't that a sin,38:07brothers and sisters? Isn't that a sin?38:09Yes. All of that is a sin. That's what a38:12lot of people think, right? But38:14scripturally speaking, right? There's38:16two laws, right? Law of sin and death,38:18law of spirit and life. So now you have38:20to expose what this means, right? You38:22have to expose what this what you have38:24to explain to me. Because if I sit here38:26and I say I'm under the commandments, is38:28that under the law of spirit and life or38:30the spirit of death? You see how it gets38:31so much trickier when it's just easier38:33to listen and go, you know what? True38:35sin is Romans 5:12. Wherefore, as by one38:38man sin entered into the world in death,38:40right? By sin. So death passed upon all38:43men. For that all have sinned. So why38:45are we sinners? Because we lust. Or38:48according to the scripture, we're38:50sinners because of what? Because of38:52Adam. Amen. So that's why I said38:54legalism doesn't work here because38:56people think sin is oh there's these38:58natural disasters and these these hatred39:00in this world and no that's not what sin39:02is. Sin is naturally inherited through39:05identity. Like I'm Chinese. Understand39:07what I'm saying? I didn't choose to be.39:09I was born that way. This is the the39:11gospel 101. It's called original sin.39:14You guys can look it up. Right. So39:17people who don't know that they're going39:18to tell other people you need to let39:20them know about their sins. Sure. How39:22though? Right? Is it just by Bible39:24thumping and telling them they need to39:25turn away and repent? Or is it by going,39:27"Hey, respectfully." This is what sin39:30actually is. You're born that way. You39:32can't do anything about it. Kind of39:34similar to what John said, which is39:35biblical. And that's why Jesus had to39:37die for you. See, if you could be39:39obedient and wash your sins, then why39:41did Jesus have to die? Gospel 101. You39:44guys understand, right? Understand,39:46right? So, it's very simple. If we sit39:49there and we just listen, but we're too39:51busy typing. We're too busy wanting to39:52add our our notion because we think39:54we're great. Guys, we can't listen39:56because we think we're great. That's not39:58going to affect us. That's going to40:00affect you. At the end of the day, you40:02you cannot listen because you think40:04you're great. Understand? You think you40:06know everything. So, that's why you40:08can't listen. So, I need to restore40:09that. Guys, the biggest issue here is40:12not any of us not knowing anything. It's40:14that when things come to us and they40:16teach us, we can't listen because we40:17don't care. We think we know what's up.40:20Do you guys understand what I'm saying?40:21Do we think passion equates to faith?40:24The more passionate I am, the more I40:26feel it. That's what faith is. Like40:28that's not true. Faith is actually40:31things that are not seen. You don't even40:33have to feel it. It's not a feeling.40:34Feelings are deceitful. It says in the40:35Bible, right? So people are very like40:39stuck in their own mindset. Amen. So40:42guys, when you come in here, we have to40:45realize something. Oh, I don't know40:46everything. Uh, a lot of people don't40:49realize if we come in here with this40:50mindset of let me hear what he has to40:53say, then you're still your own god.40:55Because if you're not as studied, then40:57how are you how do you know what you're40:58thinking is actually biblical? Are you41:00guys following me here? Right? Because41:03if you only follow when you agree and41:04when it makes sense to you, then that41:06means you're God. That doesn't mean that41:08you have the Holy Spirit. It means you41:10believe in what you think makes sense to41:12you. Do you guys understand? And it's so41:15easy to test this. It's actually really41:17easy to test us. We can weed out41:19Pharisees so simply by this one word.41:22Brothers and sisters, God said to keep41:25all of the commandments. Watch this.41:27Okay. By the way respond, I will know41:30whether or not your your fruit is here41:32or if it's over there. Brothers and41:34sisters, it says in John 14:15,41:37right? If you love me, keep my41:38commandments. Amen. So, all of you guys41:40have to keep the commandments perfectly.41:42You have to. That's what if you love41:44him, if you love him, you will do it.41:46Amen, guys. Not not amen. Amen.41:51Amen.41:53Right. So some people with this question41:56asked, some are not even listening.41:59Amen. You guys got that right.42:03So you see what happens when I mix grace42:06message and commandment message42:08together. People say this, I'm confused.42:11Or people say, "But we're not under the42:12law." Immediately, it clashes.42:15You understand? That's why we can't have42:18people in here that are only focused on42:20the law. It it has to be one or the42:22other. Either you're focused on grace42:24through faith or you're focused on the42:26law. You guys got that? That's what I'm42:28trying to prove here. Understand? Very42:31clear, right? Cuz some of you like,42:32"Wait, what? What? But didn't you say42:34what?" And it becomes like this. That's42:36why people don't care. That's why I said42:38they've never saved people cuz they42:40would never come in and distort the room42:43because that would cause spiraling.42:45Instead, they would sit there and go,42:47"Hm, okay, I got to listen. You guys got42:50it? Make sense?" But people are too care42:52too worried about their own heart and42:54proving how well they are and how smart42:56they are. Understand? That's what it is,42:59guys. If you come in here with that43:01energy, you will be you will be cut43:02down. Not by me, not by me, but by God.43:06But God will do it. Amen. He really43:08will. He really will. I can't stop it.43:10Understand what I'm saying, right? No,43:12no, no. Jesus asked that question to43:14show you guys that nobody can keep the43:16law because the the law reveals sin and43:18never heals sin. He's proving one thing.43:21None of you guys kept the law. Matthew43:235:17, I did and therefore I'm the only43:26one that loves God and you go to heaven43:28because of me and my love. It's43:30substitution. Understand? That's what he43:33means. But people love to steal his43:35shine. How stupid is that? How arrogant43:38is that? Do you understand what I'm43:39saying? How arrogant is that? That's why43:41he says in 1 John chapter 4, not that43:43you loved God, but I loved you. God43:45loved you. Notice how it doesn't say43:47human beings are love. It says God is43:49love. When you look at scripture, 143:51Corin uh 1 John chapter 4, it speaks43:53about this very clearly, right? And43:56herein is love manifested. It says, "Not43:59that you love God, but God loved you and44:01be and gave his only begotten son,44:03right? He that loveth not knoweth not44:05God. For God is love. Right? Got it. In44:07this was manifested the love of God44:08towards us. Because that God sent his44:10only begotten son into the world that we44:12might live through him. Herein is love.44:15This is love. Not that we loved God. You44:17see that? But that he loved us. But look44:20at how many people who are arrogant. No,44:21no, no. Forget this scripture and what44:23John said. John is a crazy crazy person.44:25We don't care about him. I know I love44:28God cuz I feel like I love God. Do you44:30see the difference here? What's the44:32difference? They literally trample the44:34word of God and they say, "I love God."44:37And and what do they do? They do it44:38based off of feelings. Now, of course,44:40the love of God produces you to love44:42God. Of course. But you have to44:44understand that. Understand what I'm44:46saying? You have to understand that. But44:48look it, guys. Just read the comments44:50how things just go over people's heads.44:53You see that? Who's really in here to44:55learn? Who's really in here to learn44:57genuinely? Right? That's what I'm asking45:00today, right? versus I love God. I care45:04about God. Do you understand? Amen,45:06guys? Right? You really want to learn45:08something. These are more intimate45:10stages because we can be honest here. If45:12you love God, you have to keep his45:14commandments, brothers and sisters. It45:15ain't no joke. It's not, "Oh, I think I45:18love God." No, no, no, no. I try to. No.45:21He says, "If you love me," he equates45:24love to obedience. And if you're not45:26obedient, it's safe to say you don't45:28love him. But you know what's beautiful?45:30When you realize that you don't love him45:34and he still loves you, that's what45:36produces love. Now you're crying.45:40Amen. That's when I cried many, many45:42nights because of this. Oh, when I45:44realize that I don't love God and he45:47still chooses me, that's what makes me45:50love him. Do you understand? Oh, you45:54chose me. I go against the servants. I45:55talk trash about people. I do this. I45:57lust. I whatever. Whatever. Right? But45:59God, you still love me. You still give46:02me mods like JT who's just like me.46:06Understand? You still give me people46:08that love me and care about me like46:10Pastor John. You don't throw me away.46:13The whole world has thrown me away.46:14There are people even talking about me46:16behind my back and doing this, that, and46:17the third. But you don't do that, God,46:20because you love me. Because your heart46:22is different to me and your heart is46:24different towards me. Your heart is46:26different than mine. God, I love you.46:29Truly, God. Do you understand what I'm46:31saying, brothers and sisters? When you46:33realize you're supposed to burn in the46:35hottest part of hell for the things that46:37you've done, and he doesn't do that, but46:39burn his own son.46:41It really does hit different. It really46:44does. But sadly, people are legalistic.46:47Daily devotions are back and they're in46:49your email. Every single day I start46:51with the word of God and I share that46:53with you guys so that you can also have46:54the same peace, hope, and happiness that46:57I move forward throughout the day. Every46:59morning I send you a piece of scripture47:00and an explanation to help you with your47:02spiritual walk. There's nothing more47:03powerful than starting your day with the47:05word of God. This quick 2 minutes each47:07morning will set you up for the rest of47:08your day. These are 100% free. So if you47:11want to sign up for the emails, link in47:13the description. Anyways, yeah, I know I47:15love God. Shut up, bro. Uh so tell me47:17about the three tribulations. Tell me47:20about the three levels of heaven. Tell47:22me about transubstantiation.47:24Tell me about Nephilim. Tell me about47:26the three baptisms. So there's water,47:28there's spirit, and which one, Johnny?47:30Oh, the fire one. Ooh, fire. How do I47:33Wait, how do how do we get baptized by47:34fire? What does that mean? Do you47:36understand? What does she mean? What47:39does barak mean? You said something47:41about 12 ribs with 12 ribs equals 24.47:43And the throne of God is What is that?47:45Where is the throne of God? How come47:48Moses's bones are not found? How come47:50everybody sat there and they they're47:52looking for his bones? They cannot find47:53Moses' bones. Why can't go? Like, do you47:55understand what I'm saying? Is purgatory47:57biblical? So sad when I think about48:00this. I feel sad in my heart. Lord, no48:03one cares about how much you did for us.48:05We care more about boosting our48:07knowledge and showing other people how48:09great we are rather than passing the48:12glory of how great you are. Understood?48:15I rather I rather idolize my what my and48:18worship my knowledge more than worship48:20you and the gospel. And you still love48:23me after that. Sheesh. And you still48:27love me even after that. God loves every48:29single one of you guys. Not because48:31you're perfect, but because he's48:33perfect. Do you guys understand what I'm48:35saying? Right? That's that's the whole48:38Bible in a nutshell. You don't deserve48:40it and you never will reach the level48:42that I want you to. And guess what? It48:45is okay. I still love you. Even if48:48you're like that, you know, that's48:50that's something you want to really48:52learn. You want to spend if I spend all48:55of my life and I only gain 10% of the48:59knowledge of God's love, I'm happy. If I49:03spend the rest of my life, let's say I'm49:04supposed to die when I'm 80 and I'm 3649:07right now. If I spend the rest of my49:09life till I'm 80 to learn even 1% of49:12what God's love is towards me, I'm49:14happy. That's the difference here. Do49:16you understand, brothers and sisters? Do49:18you understand? That's the difference49:20here. The love of God is is portrayed49:23through the gospel, guys. That's all49:25it's about. It's it's always and will49:28always be about that. There is nothing49:30more that I got to say except for that.49:34God is very clear about that. I just49:36want people to know about the gospel. Do49:38you know why, guys? Because the gospel49:40is the only thing that matters at the49:42end of the day. It doesn't even matter49:44how many people you quote unquote save.49:45You could save your aunties and your49:46grandmas and everybody else, but if you49:49don't know the heart of God, which is49:50the gospel, it does absolutely nothing49:53for you. Knowing the gospel is knowing49:56God. That's why God says, "I never knew49:58you." If you notice, he doesn't say you50:01didn't do enough. He didn't say you50:03didn't save enough. He didn't say you50:04weren't obedient enough. He says I never50:07knew you. I don't know you because you50:09don't know me. Understand? Make sense?50:13That's what it is. So, if you believe in50:16the in the scripture, in the gospel,50:18then you're saved. Amen, brothers and50:20sisters, then you're saved. God is so50:23good.50:24Can I tell you guys something? Pull up50:27uh Ella, pull up first uh Timothy50:29chapter 2 3 and 4 and just post it real50:32quick, guys. Do some of you guys feel50:34like God is not happy with you guys?50:37Honestly, if you're being honest, some50:40of you guys may feel like that, right? I50:42can sense it in this whole room. You50:44think God is not happy with you, right?50:46Let me show you something very clear50:48here. Okay, post the scripture again,50:50Ella, and I'll finish here. Don't type.50:52Just read it with me, please. For this50:54is good and acceptable in the sight of50:56God, our savior. This is good. This is50:59acceptable. This means God thinks this51:01is good and God accepts this. Okay. Who51:03will have all men be saved and to come51:06unto the knowledge of truth? Let me ask51:07you guys something. So, is it good to51:10God for people to get saved and come to51:11the knowledge of truth, which is the51:13gospel? Yes. Right. So, you think that51:17you're not good enough? Right? But in51:19God's eyes, if you're saved and you know51:22the gospel, is that good enough or not?51:26Amen. So actually God is proud of you51:30because you don't know how many people51:31come to this gospel like we just saw51:33earlier and gospel.51:36You got to let people know their sin,51:38man. All right? You got to let people51:41know the knowledge of your truth, not51:44his truth, your truth. Okay? You got to51:46break people's arms and save them. Okay,51:49brothers and sisters? Or else you're not51:52called children of God. Make sense? But51:55God says, right, "I'm happy. I accept51:58you and this is good." He calls you guys52:00good and accepted. Why? Because you're52:03saved. You're welcome. Donate $1,00052:06each of you. Just kidding. They're going52:08to clip that part up and be like, "Oh52:11snap. This This guy went prosperity. Got52:13look shalama llama llama llama lama. My52:16name's Johnny Copelan." Just kidding.52:18Johnny Chang, not Johnny Copeland.52:20Different JC's fa52:24speak in tongues too guys. Jokes aside,52:28no jokes aside though, genuinely, right?52:32Jokes aside, is God proud of you and52:35does he accept you solely because you52:37received salvation and you know the52:40gospel? Yes. So don't let anybody,52:43including yourself or the enemy or your52:45family members or anybody, me included,52:48tell you anything different. You are52:49accepted. You are beloved. You are good52:53because of the gospel. Nothing else.52:57Nothing else, brothers and sisters.52:59You're a bad parent. That's fine. He's a53:02good parent.53:04You don't know how to raise your kids.53:06That's okay. God knows how to raise your53:08kids. You understand? You don't keep the53:11commandments. It's cool. God kept the53:12commandments for you. Understand? You53:14sin every day, but that's his specialty.53:17He washes it all.53:20Beautiful. You cannot lose. You cannot53:24lose. Okay, brothers and sisters. Amen.53:28Okay. We are righteous. We're holy. We53:32are sanctified because of God. I don't53:35care who says what. All of you guys can53:37struggle for the rest of your lives53:38until you die. As long as you know that53:40God is your Lord and Savior and he died53:42for you and made you righteous and53:44perfected, God is happy. He's happy.53:47Genuinely, he's happy. Okay? So, don't53:50think that he's not happy with you. I'm53:51speaking. I've read the Bible a lot more53:53than you guys. And I can tell you what53:55God's heart is through these scriptures.53:57He is happy and he's proud of you guys53:59because there's so many people that are54:01not that are not that don't even care54:02about the gospel like us. They don't.54:06Okay? He loves you guys. He loves you54:08guys a lot. Genuinely, he does. He loves54:10me a lot, too. Cuz I'm the worst one out54:12of all of you guys. Genuinely.54:14genuinely, you know, and so he placed me54:18to be able to to lead you guys and I'm54:21very thankful about that because54:23everything has to point back to him54:25genuinely.54:26Okay, guys, we're all connected through54:29the blood. We're all married to Jesus.54:32He married us because he needs us to54:34depend on him. He didn't give us a54:36choice. He sent his son 2,000 years ago54:39to die to die for our sins. So even if54:42no woman or no man puts a ring on it,54:45God has already put a ring on it and54:48he's espoused you to him forever.54:50Forever.54:52No, no, no. I want you guys to sit sit54:55forever.54:57Like this is not a joke, y'all. Forever.55:01So who cares if I stay single forever?55:03Who cares if you stay single forever?55:05Because you're not single. Truly, you're55:07not. God loves you. Cares about you.55:11Sure, you you miss out on the snugglies55:14and the cuddlies. Sure. But it gets hot55:17anyways after a while, right? You still55:19got to go back to your cool side55:20anyways. It gets hot after a while. Your55:22arm dies a little. Dang. Big old head55:24just laying on your arm. Huh? Right55:27guys,55:29just kidding. Right. I'm just saying55:32guys, it's it's okay to be alone55:34physically because you're never alone55:36spiritually. Understand? You're never55:38alone spiritually. You may be alone55:40physically. Yes. Yes. But you're never55:42alone spiritually. He's always there.55:45All right, my brothers and sisters. I'll55:47see you guys later. Take care. Have a55:49good night. Bye, everybody. Peace.
