Yeah, I'm0:16actually0:18um feeling a lot better today. So, we're0:22going to put off the podcast, but we're0:25going to record today. So, kind of uh0:29you know, chilling a little bit. They0:32found out what was wrong with what I0:34had. Remember how I said everything was0:36negative, right? Um I actually ended up0:41getting a bacterial infection, testing0:44positive for a bacterial infection,0:45which is called fuscoacterium.0:49Fusco bacterium. Apparently, everybody0:51has that. It starts either in the gut or0:54in the in the what's it called? In the0:57throat or even in the mouth. And what1:00happens is it's just like the bacteria1:03like gut bacteria. There's good1:05bacteria, there's bad bacteria, right?1:07And so a lot of teens to like young1:10adults get this stuff. Um, so I don't1:13know. I guess I have an immune system of1:15a teen or young adult, but I don't have1:17a brain of a teen or young adult, that's1:19for sure. But uh essentially you know it1:24was it was it it happens when two things1:27are happening high level of stress low1:31level of sleep and or lack of sleep high1:35stress1:37um poor diet. So when I travel usually I1:40can't stay on top of my diet. So, you1:44know, all of that happened and yeah,1:47they say it's like four out of a1:48thousand people get it, which is very1:51rare,1:52you know, but uh pretty crazy, right?1:57So, I'm like, dang, that's that's yeah,1:59it was wild. Um but yeah, very very hard2:02to detect as well and can be very2:05dangerous in that if you if that happens2:10um and you don't take care of it because2:12it was a sore throat for 5 days straight2:14which is not normal and it was getting2:16worse. The sore throat was getting2:17worse. It can actually infect into La2:20Mer's disease, I think, which is uh it2:23infects your jugular vein, some crazy2:26like that, right? It it it Yeah, it'll2:30infect your jugular vein and then you2:32you could like literally die, right? So,2:34that was crazy. But yeah, I was just2:36like, m I'm good. I supposed to travel.2:39I stopped to travel. I was like, I'm I'm2:40okay. Sure enough, thank God, I I did2:43because I had to go pick up the2:44antibiotics. They got me on a moxicylin2:47and some other thing and it is it's2:50doing it's doing its work but he doctor2:54was like you got to you got to stop2:56stressing out. I was like, I mean, it's2:59not really just that, it's food, too.3:01You know, I think it's it's it's food as3:04well, but um yeah, I was like, oh,3:07little do you know do you know, doctor,3:10if you have a congregation that sits3:12there and says stuff to you and then one3:15minute loves you and one minute hates3:17you because you correct them. Oh, yeah.3:20Yeah. You'd probably be stressed out,3:22too,3:24right? It's like, dang. Oh, but yeah.3:27Anyways, kidding. All right, any other3:30questions? Do you guys have any3:32questions? Is there a different meaning3:34to repentance in the Old and New3:36Testament? Nope. It's all the same.3:38Repentance is the same. Everything in3:40the Old ties into the New. So, it's the3:42same thing. Do you have some questions3:45that people ask that you love to hear?3:47Do you have questions that some people3:49ask that you love to hear? Um, no. I3:54think they're all the same. There's3:56questions I don't like to hear like trap3:58setting questions,4:00you know, things like that. But, uh,4:03truth seeeking questions I love. I don't4:06like when questions are rooted in pride,4:09right? Well, well, well, if God is good,4:11why does he allow babies to die? Like4:13this type of question. It's like kind of4:16like you could ask the same question4:18without having all the pride and like4:20passive aggressiveness, right? So it it4:23it just kind of comes down to that at4:25the end of the day. So yeah, I I I would4:28say we have to be kind of cautious about4:30those things, you know. Um but for me I4:34personally think that if you have you4:38know pride or frustration the best thing4:40to do is to listen then rather than4:42speak because when that happens and you4:45start to kind of learn a little bit you4:47know Johnny I've been avoiding a certain4:50family member because uh of hate and4:52bitterness is that biblical is it okay4:56in biblical terms? So again, this is one4:58of those questions where it's kind of5:00asking from a position of like a5:02checkbox, right? So, you know, um I I5:08don't think God would want you to to5:10stay in that position. So, of course,5:12you can avoid someone because of, you5:14know, hate or unresolved bitterness.5:17That's understandable. Do I think God5:19wants you to stay there? I don't think5:21so. Right. Um, but if you avoid someone5:25because you're for safety or having a5:28boundary, that is biblical. Jesus did5:30that, right? Like in Ma Matthew, in Luke5:335:16, Jesus withdrew himself into the5:36wilderness and prayed, right? So to5:38withdraw is is okay. Um, but again, you5:43know, are you are you withdrawing5:46because you're hardened by them, right?5:48So the bitterness obviously affects you5:50and that's okay. Um, hatred I I don't5:54think is, you know, not unless they're5:58hating on you and and being bitter6:00towards you, then it's a little bit6:01different. But you have to make sure6:03that that stuff shouldn't harden you,6:05right? You have to realize that we all6:07have hatred at one point. We're all kind6:09of a certain way, right? So, yes, you6:13can keep a distance if they're doing6:14that to you. Um, if you're hating on6:17somebody and being bitter towards them,6:18I I think distance is still good, but6:22you don't It's probably smarter to think6:24about their heart and think about God's6:26heart in this. You know, if you're6:28angry, I would tell God, "God, I'm6:30angry. Uh, I'm bitter. I'm hurt. I don't6:33want to forgive." And I don't even know6:34how to, but please make me willing,6:38right? please help my unbelief, you6:40know, help what's poisoning me6:42internally, you know, and help me6:44release whatever is hurting me in6:46including that person. And I think in6:48this way, you become very obedient to6:50God um versus like I got to do this, I6:53got to do that, I got to do this cuz6:54when you fall into legalism, it's just6:56very very very bad, you know. So, it's7:00um yeah, I I would say just be very7:04cautious um you know about that heart7:07posture because God says to to to keep7:09diligence with that, right? Um can you7:12talk about Romans 5? What specifically7:14do you want me to talk about in Romans7:16chapter 5? There's a lot of things7:19there's a lot of stuff do you want me to7:20talk about the context? Do you want me7:22to talk about like what is it7:24specifically7:25you know that you right u it talks about7:30justification it talks about grace you7:34know it talks about suffering7:37I mean what specifically right answer is7:41someone who feels a big passion and love7:42for getting to know Jesus reading the7:44gospel I'm learning to read and accept7:45the Bible and I'm very young I'm 23 can7:48you give me any tips for my path of7:50learning to evangelize and what What7:51were some of the difficulties you faced7:53on this path because you inspire me? Um7:56the difficulty is always self.7:59You becoming the savior, you becoming8:01articulate, you knowing the gospel good8:03enough. You you you uh when you when you8:06acknowledge that you're weak, then you8:09become very strong, right?8:11Acknowledgement is the first step of8:14leveling up because you have to realize8:16where your problem is. Number one. Uh,8:19number two, condemnation was a big8:21thing. Meaning, if I didn't preach well8:23enough, I would condemn myself andor I8:25would condemn others. Maybe not to their8:27face, but always internally. What I mean8:30by that is, dude, this guy's not8:32listening. He's a freaking idiot. Like,8:34boom, condemning them. Oh, this guy's8:36not listening. I made it so simple, and8:37he's still not listening, and this guy's8:39going to burn in hell, and I guess he8:40just deserves it. Blah, blah. Like, this8:42would happen. Or I would look back at8:43myself, man, why is he not listening? I8:45can't make him listen because I suck. I8:47don't know how to preach. Why am I even8:49preaching? What the hell is wrong with8:50me? You know, am I a preacher? I'm not8:52even a preacher. I didn't want to do8:54this. I And I start getting condemned8:55and complainful. So, it's always self8:59and condemnation only comes to good9:00people, right? A a evil person who knows9:04that they're evil won't get condemned.9:06They'll just be like, "Okay, yeah,9:07that's who I am and I've never been9:09anything else." So, they're okay with9:11themselves. Um, it's only good people9:14that get condemned. man, I know I should9:16do better. I can do better. This I can9:19do better heart is what condemns you9:22because Satan goes, "Yeah, you should9:23have did better. Why didn't you?" And9:25then right there, you're agreeing,9:26you're now in agreement with Satan. Um,9:30right. Right. Makes sense. So, it's very9:33very clear. Um, you know, at the end of9:37the day, so getting baptized holds no9:39power, only spiritual matters. Well,9:41there's three types of baptism. So9:43baptism is a form of the spirit. There's9:45a spiritual baptism. There's a water9:48baptism and there's a fire baptism. So9:51the one that matters is the spiritual9:53baptism which will also lead you to be9:55baptized by you know uh water as well.9:59And so that's kind of you know what it10:01what it comes down to at the end of the10:04day. Um people think you get baptized to10:08be saved. No. Baptism is a proclamation10:11that you're saved. It's to pro proclaim10:13that you are saved. So you get baptized10:16and then you get saved. I'm sorry. And10:18then you get baptized. So a lot of10:20what's taught is actually incorrect. Um10:23in Acts as well, they repent and then10:27you know believe in the gospel and then10:29get saved, right? Like the Holy Spirit,10:31for example, cannot come down on10:32non-believers. So before they even got10:35baptized, the Holy Spirit fell upon10:37them, which is baptism. The thief on the10:40cross, for example, you cannot get to10:42heaven without getting baptized. Well,10:44that crushes the argument that you need10:46water baptism because the thief on the10:48cross was not baptized, but he believed10:51and he seen paradise after that, right?10:54And so, again, this is kind of what it10:57comes down to. Can you talk about10:59Mechisolec?11:00Um, Mechisedc is found in three11:03different parts of scripture. He's found11:05in Genesis, in Psalm, and in Hebrews. Um11:10at the end of the day there is no11:13genealogy for him. Um but his name Meli11:17and Zedek right is it means uh king of11:21righteousness or righteous king right11:25and11:27uh you know it's it's very uh very deep11:31but at the end of the day it's it's you11:35know it's when you look at Hebrews11:397:2 it talks about him I believe uh11:42talks about him being the king of11:44righteousness and also So the king of11:45Salem, Salem, right, is is um king of11:50peace. It even says, right, the king of11:52peace. So he doesn't have a genealogy11:56um because it's all about his theology,11:59not the genealogy. It's proof that12:02Hebrew people don't just get saved12:04because of their genealogy. It's not an12:06ethical thing. It's a theological and12:09relational thing. It's not a biological12:11thing. Right? And so yeah, he's12:15basically you could tie it into is he12:17Jesus? No, he's not. He's not um he's12:21not uh Jesus Christ, right? But he is12:25and he's also not from the the the12:28Levitical tribes, right? He's not even12:30from the Aeronic tribe. He's from the12:33Mckiscian tribe, right? It's his own12:35thing, right? Um because Abraham gives12:39that, right? And yes, they kind of come,12:42sure, but he's pointing to a greater12:44priesthood. So yeah, Mckisedc is12:48basically a type of priesthood. The12:52Mckiscian tribe is a priesthood that is12:55righteousness, righteousness, and the12:58king of righteousness, which is the13:00gospel. the gospels priesthood. Whereas13:02in Levitical times, in the ironic13:04priesthood, in the um you know, Mosaic13:08priesthood, it was all law. Mechisedc13:11switches it up and goes he comes out of13:12nowhere similar to Jesus coming out of13:14nowhere. And he he he preaches only13:17righteousness, not keep the law and you13:20know, things like that, right? Um so13:24yeah, pastor, is there a difference13:26between me reading the Bible out loud or13:28silently? No, you can do whatever.13:30Either or is fine, right? Either or is13:33fine. So, it's it's not I mean, for me13:35personally, what helps me read quick is13:39reading with your finger. Like, and13:42reading even out loud or whatever. Like,13:44I read internally and I follow with my13:46finger. And how fast my finger moves is13:49how fast I read the Bible. It just helps13:51me stay on track. And so, that's kind of13:54what it comes down to. I have a whole13:56other video episode on all platforms,13:59YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, all that14:01every single Monday. Each episode is a14:04gospel- centered lesson that you could14:05apply to your life today. So, this is14:08more conversational. You guys know my14:10team, Jeremy and Aaron. We just have a14:12lot of fun. We joke around, but we get14:14serious. We get vulnerable. It's just14:16very, very different and it's beautiful.14:18I hope you guys can tune in. And we made14:20this for you guys. So, please enjoy. How14:23do I handle avoiding confrontation14:25because of ego? How do I handle avoiding14:28confrontation because of ego?14:31Um, I think you're the reason why you14:36avoid confrontation is not really14:38because of ego. Sure. I think it's more14:40self-p protection. People avoid14:43confrontation for a n a number of14:45things. They they fear being exposed.14:47They fear being wrong. They fear losing14:50control. Uh they fear vulnerability. Do14:52they fear fear you know being14:54disrespected14:56uh that's all byproduct of fear and you14:58can say ego right so your whole point is15:02to protect yourself from your identity15:04and that's what what happens when you15:08look at proverbs 13:1015:10speaks about pride comes to condemn15:13contend right um so pride causes yes ego15:18and pride and fear they cause conflict15:20or avoidance in in your case, avoidance,15:24right? Um,15:26so you you kind of have to realize that,15:29oh, it's because I care about what15:31people say or I fear being exposed or I15:33fear being wrong or right. You have to15:36kind of just be again acknowledge that,15:38right? So, um, and and you're not going15:43to ever not be misunderstood. A lot of15:45people misunderstand me, right? But I15:47still have to preach the gospel, right?15:51Uh I think that's most important. So15:54yeah, I I would say, you know, you you15:57you probably have to ask yourself some15:59questions. Uh you have to rebuke the16:02fear, but how do we do that? We have to16:03ask, what are we afraid of? Like when I16:06go and talk to someone, what am I afraid16:09that will happen if I open my mouth and16:11speak to these people? What what what am16:13I trying to protect that God doesn't16:16already see and has reconciled and16:18restored? Right? You have to ask these16:21qu what what what would what would it16:23cost me to to be vulnerable to to be16:25honest. The only way to overcome ego16:28guys is not trying to stuff it and do16:30better. Right? Do you know what16:32overcomes and disarms ego? Truth. And16:35what is the truth? The gospel. The way16:38the life, the truth, which is Jesus. And16:40Jesus John 1:14 is the word. So your job16:43is to sit there and go, "Okay, here's my16:45thoughts and my feelings. What does the16:47word of God say?" Right? That's kind of16:50what it comes down to. And you got to16:52like understand that you're not on trial16:54when you're speaking to somebody, right?16:57And just because someone confronts you16:58does not mean that they're confronting17:00your whole identity. It's just it's this17:03has nothing to do with your worth. It's17:05actually what's what they're addressing17:06at hand. But a lot of us, we tend to17:08like heighten our senses because we're17:11sensitive. So, for example, if someone17:13comes and goes, "Hey, Johnny, like um17:17you got to clean up this part of your17:19car, right?" Anyone who's sensitive or17:22doesn't want to be corrected will think17:24and assume things. They'll start to tack17:27on, "Oh, does he think that I'm a slime17:29a slime ball? Does he think I'm lazy?17:32Does he think that, you know, I don't17:34clean that part of my car because, you17:36know, does he not know how busy I am?"17:38Like, what is he calling me lazy? Man, I17:40work harder than him. blah blah. Like17:42right here, you start to argue with17:43yourself. Like nine times out of 10,17:46people are doing this. They're they feel17:49an attack on their17:53identity and their worth. But that's not17:55what it is. If someone says, "Hey, you17:57should clean your car." And your car is17:59genuinely dirty. Like that's that just18:01means your car is dirty. It doesn't mean18:03you as a human being suck. You're lazy.18:06You're this. Like that's not what he's18:07saying. But we fill in those gaps18:09because that's how we feel about18:11ourselves. Do you guys understand what18:13I'm saying? Where I'm coming from here?18:15A lot of us when we respond or listen,18:19we're listening to the things we assume18:22that they're saying and even assumptions18:24about ourselves. Amen. So, we're very18:29defensive towards not only other people,18:31but even towards ourselves. So that's18:33why in James 1:1 19, it says, "Let every18:35man be swift to hear, slow to speak,18:37slow to wrath, right? You got to think18:40about those things, right?" So, so we we18:43just put out the George Jenko podcast,18:45right? And people in the comments were18:47like, "Man, like, you know, and even18:49with the James Ston podcast, they're18:51like, you know, Johnny doesn't really18:53get shaken. Like, it's just he's like18:54very patient. He listens to them. Do you18:56guys know why? Because I know my18:59identity in Christ." If you know your19:02identity is in Christ, then any type of19:04confrontation cannot even touch you, let19:06alone destroy you. So if he's sitting19:09there and he goes, "My fellow heretic,"19:11and I let's say, cuz he did, he joked,19:13right? I'm with the fellow heretic,19:14right? Because that's what they call me.19:17It's if I was insecure about that, I'd19:21be like, "Yo, bro, bro, bro, like19:23they're freaking clowns, man. Don't say19:25that, man. I wouldn't say that was a19:26heretic. I like I would I would defend,19:28but if you know, I just laughed. I was19:29like, "Yeah, for sure. Figgity facts." I19:31straight up said it, "Figgity facts."19:33Right? Because at the end of the day,19:36you know, how I think about things is at19:39the worst case scenario, you learn19:41something and that means you grow. So19:44even if someone disrespects you, you19:46learn, oh, I can't be close with that19:48person. Now you've grown something.19:50You've gained some kind of clarity. And19:51in the best case scenario, if someone19:55confronts you, let's say, then you learn19:57to trust. Oh, okay. Cool. They19:59confronted me and I respect that and and20:01let's talk about it. And then peace is20:03restored and respect, you know, gets20:05increased and resentment kind of goes20:07away, right? Either way, if you think20:11about it, you're more free when you're20:13secure in your identity cuz your20:16identity can piss people off or it can20:18uplift them. You being confident can20:21make other people who are not confident20:23pissed off at you. That's just a god20:25honest truth, right? But at the end of20:27the day, if you're unbothered because20:29you know you're righteous and holy and20:31through right all these things, it's a20:33beautiful thing at the end of the day.20:35Understand, right? So it's it's it's20:39cool to kind of just be like what's you20:43know what what's what's going to be an20:45issue if I just sit here and I speak. So20:47even with with you know uh the brother20:50who was asking earlier, right? Like how20:52do I preach? If you just go and you20:54preach, you're going to learn something20:55from it. You're either going to learn,20:57dang, I shouldn't freaking preach like20:58that or I should get better or I21:00shouldn't or you're going to learn21:01something. People, they don't want to21:04they fear. They want to get everything21:05right. And that's the expectation issue,21:08right? When you have an expectation,21:10okay, I need to do this or I've been21:12preaching the gospel x amount of years21:13and these Catholics and these Orthodoxy21:15and whoever needs to respect me, then I21:17can get angry. Do you understand what21:19I'm saying? Right? Like if if someone21:23says something to me and I have an21:25expectation that they shouldn't, now I'm21:27going to get pissed. But is it really21:28them being mean or is it that I had an21:31expectation that was not manageable by21:34either party, me or the other person? So21:37it's it's always, you know, those types21:40of things that ruin people, right? You21:43you can only get as mad as you allow21:45somebody to make you, right? Like if I21:48don't care about somebody, they cannot21:50piss me off. I don't care what they do21:54because I'm not worried about that. But21:56if I do care or even I care about21:58myself, then they will piss me off and22:00then of course I will deflect and say,22:02"Well, they did that to me." Now, people22:04are not just going to walk up to you and22:05smack you in the face. At the end of the22:07day, it's just words if you think about22:09it. But the words, it depends on if you22:12give them power or not, right? She22:15genuinely you you have the final say in22:18letting them manage your emotions,22:20right? Because you are going to if they22:22say something and it pisses you off,22:24it's because you allowed that, right?22:27Amen. So you you have to also think22:30about those types of things. So you22:32know, a lot of the times it's pride. So22:34I always ask God, God, please, you know,22:37help me not protect my ego more than I22:40protect the truth. You know, I want to22:42preach the gospel. Lord, give me22:43humility and give me that humility22:45without fear. Give me that courage, you22:48know, and don't just give me courage and22:50like a gangster aggressive courage. Give22:53me a courage with love, you know, and22:56and give me, you know, love as well22:59without without parameters or avoidance,23:02right? And and in this way, when you ask23:04God for these types of things, you start23:06to then grow. But yeah, basically,23:09right, it's it's it's very23:12uh how do I say? It's just it's just you23:15have to really think about God's heart.23:17You know what I'm saying? Like at the23:19end of the day, God is going to love us23:23regardless of what we do. But people23:26miss this idea of what God really is.23:30He's a master. He's a creator. He's a23:32father. He's a leader. He's a protector.23:34He's a comforter. He's all of those23:36things. But the one thing that you can23:37understand him most at the end of the23:39day is he's a lover. He loves. He's a23:41god of love as they say, right? So he23:45will spend all of his time cultivating23:49the lens for us to see how much he loves23:52us at the end of the day, right? It's23:55just what it comes down to, right? Could23:59you clarify 1 Corinthians 5:5? Yes. Yes.24:02Yes. Of course. Of course. Uh that's24:05very very valid. A lot of people are24:07afraid of this verse, right? Um what is24:11it talking specifically about? Right? So24:15you have to understand the context. So24:17I'm going to ask you Ellerin Perez, what24:20is the context of this? Have you read 124:22Corinthians 5? I've read it numerous,24:24numerous times. Do you know what the24:27context is when you read that whole 124:30Corinthians 5? Do you know? So I'll tell24:33you the context. Okay. Got to be honest.24:36I don't good. So So when you guys ask24:39about a scripture, no, no, nothing wrong24:42with it. Please read for yourself first24:44because it helps, right? So when you24:48look at the context, this is a man in24:50the Corinthian church, right? And he was24:54openly sleeping24:56with his father's wife, which is a24:58stepmother. Got it? He wasn't repenting.25:02And he was boasting instead of grieving.25:07Yeah, I did that. So what? Like it was25:09like this heart. Do do you understand25:11now? So then what is Paul addressing in25:151 Corinthians 5 verse 1-2? He is25:18addressing that people who are unchecked25:22and publicly defying and they're not25:24even going to God about it. And not only25:27that, it's being celebrated about it.25:29Right? So, this is not talking about me25:32and you who are struggling believers who25:34have weakness and temptation in private.25:37This is publicly going, you know what?25:39I'm going to go and tell all my25:41congregation that I slept with this25:43girl, which is my stepmother, and I25:45don't care because I can do whatever I25:47want. Like, this is very dangerous,25:50right? Do do you understand what I'm25:51saying? So, then he says, "I will25:54deliver you unto Satan." Meaning, I've25:56let you go, right? I'm going to It's not26:00I'm cursing you to hell. You lost your26:02salvation. It's more of hey, if you26:04can't even listen to God and me who's26:06appointed by God, then the only other26:09option is to go to Satan. And Satan,26:14what does he do? He He destroys your26:18flesh. Now, many of you guys have left26:20and came back. What what what was being26:23destroyed? Your salvation is not gone26:25because you left Core of the Heart26:27Ministries, but your flesh gets into26:30destruction. You you you hit so many26:32pinnacles in your life and you're like,26:33"What the heck is going on?" It's like26:35it deteriorates you as a person, right?26:38Amen. Like the Bible talks about the26:41church as a protective space, a26:44protective fellowship. But if you step26:47out, what happens is then you're going26:51to be, you know, disciplined in a way26:55that only God can work, which is through26:57Satan, which is what we used to do27:00before we came into the church. Our27:01lives taught us things, right? And it27:04disciplined us in a lot of ways, right?27:07Destruction of the flesh in Coney Greek27:10is sarks, right? Which means I'm going27:13to destruct your pride, your27:15indulgences, your rebellion. I'm going27:17to dis destruct. I'm going to bring a27:20destruction to it. Right. Right. So they27:24have So he has a false confidence. He's27:27like, "Oh, I could do this and sleep27:29around." Okay. Well, all he has to do is27:32stay inside of the church. Understand27:34what I'm saying? Right. Right. But he's27:38not caring about any of those things. He27:41don't care if he's inside, outside. So27:43God, so Paul's like, "Go ahead then,27:45walk out and do what you got to do,27:47right?" Because in the end, right, he27:49doesn't lose his salvation. He says that27:50the spirit may be saved in the day of27:52the Lord, right? So Paul knows, oh, he's27:55not going to lose his salvation, but the27:58goal here is restoration and repentance.28:01I want to restore this person, but I28:04can't restore him. So I need Satan to to28:07actually break him. You guys understand28:09what I'm saying? I see Pastor Kim do28:11that with a lot of people. You guys know28:13I do that with you guys. Not no28:15disrespect, but I when people leave, I28:18pray, "Father God, please help them." We28:21know that their their salvation is not28:23tainted because of it, but they're going28:25to struggle because then Satan will play28:28with them and understand what I'm28:30saying, right? It's this type of28:32mindset. Make sense, right? So you know28:37it's it's just a very you know important28:41thing right right later on right he28:47speaks to him in second he speaks about28:49this person in 2 Corinthians chapter 228:52verse 6 to8 right so it's talking about28:56the same guy who walked away from 128:58Corinthians 5:5 he came back right when29:00you read 2 Corinthians chapter 2 6 to829:04contextually it ends Here he says,29:06"Sufficient to such a man is this29:08punishment which was inflicted of many,29:11so that contrawise you ought rather to29:13forgive him and comfort him, lest29:16perhaps such as one should be swallowed29:18up with over much sorrow. Wherefore I29:21beseech you that you would confirm your29:23love towards him." So what is he saying?29:27He's saying this man came back that the29:30discipline worked that Satan beat him up29:32but then the whole point was he needed29:34to be repented and he needed to be29:36restored. Notice how Paul is really29:39gangster. He doesn't shun him. That's29:41how you know he's a true leader of God.29:44Oh yeah, you left. Get the f out. No,29:46no, he doesn't even make fun of him. He29:49says this was what was needed. He needed29:51to run away. He needed to get, you know,29:54beat up by Satan to realize, okay,29:56that's not life. I need to come back.29:59Make sense? And now that's what30:00happened, right? So again, if you30:04notice, he doesn't shame him. He doesn't30:06control him. He doesn't spiritually30:07abuse him. Right? What he says is,30:12right? I'm telling you that you needed30:14this and I'm glad that God changed your30:16heart and now you're back and that was30:18enough. Sufficiency means enough, right?30:21It was enough for that. So that's that.30:23So in times of you know where we air30:26like if you guys leave or if you guys30:28feel struggling then think about this30:30too. Like if you if I leave the church I30:34already know I'm just giving myself up30:35to Satan like flat out. You know giving30:38yourself up to Satan in the church30:40versus outside of the church are two30:42different things. There are people who30:43fell into the church and people who fell30:44outside of the church. The ones who fall30:46outside die because the Bible says30:48cursed is the man that falls but has30:52nobody30:53right to pick them up. So the fall is30:56not the issue because in Proverbs it30:58says the righteous shall fall seven31:01times and get back up right but he says31:05cursed is the one who falls and has31:07nobody to help him. brothers and31:09sisters, you guys fall all the time, but31:11then you come in here and then you31:14listen to the word and then you level up31:16and you overcome and we it's okay, you31:18know, you messed up, etc., etc. It's31:19fine. But it's when you fall and nobody31:22can lift you up, then Satan starts to31:25speak for God. Like I said, if you don't31:28go to the people of God or you don't go31:30to God himself, Satan will start to31:32speak for him. This is where I get it31:34from. Do you do you understand what I'm31:36saying? This is a very serious31:39discipline. But you know God created31:42Satan. People always ask why did God31:45create Satan? Do you guys know why? Very31:48simple. First and foremost he created31:50Lucifer. So okay then what the question31:53is why would he create Satan? Why would31:56he allow his creation like Lucifer right31:59to do his bidding? Do you know why God32:03allows Satan to live? for one thing, one32:07thing only. Satan is an exposer. He32:12exposes32:13what you lean on. So you cannot have32:18right love if there's no choice of love.32:22Are you understanding what I'm saying?32:24So if he removes all evil and you can32:26only choose good, that's not choice. And32:29love honors choice. You guys understand32:32what I'm saying? So he allows Satan to32:34be the exposer. Hey, if you choose32:37Satan, that means you choose that more32:40than me. And now that's the contrast and32:42the comparing. So that's why he doesn't32:45remove him because Satan's sole job is32:47just to expose. That's why he's an32:49accuser of the brethren. Meaning look at32:52him. He only cares about me. He don't32:54care about you. And he's right.32:57Understand? Right? Even in this in the32:59book of Job, he cannot touch certain33:02things, right? Because he's under33:04control, right? And if you notice the33:06intricate details, he can kill everybody33:09except Job and his wife. Why his wife?33:11Because his wife and him are one. You33:14harm her, you harm him. So you cannot.33:17And this later points to Jesus Christ.33:19Understand? Another unlock here. But33:22people don't realize these things.33:25They're only focused on I'm struggling.33:28Why the f did you create Satan? Why do33:30you allow him to live? Okay, I get it,33:32Johnny. You created Lucifer and then he33:35turned into Satan, but why would you let33:36him do that? You strike down all these33:38other people who do way, way less evil33:40things than Satan. But how come? Because33:42Satan was created for a purpose. Whom33:45the Lord hath made, the fallen angel and33:48the evil spirit whom the Lord hath sent.33:52Do you understand? God sends him. Yes.33:55Why? to expose. Okay, you say you love33:59me, right? Boom. Go ahead, Satan. Show34:02him what he actually loves. Boom. And he34:04starts to show it. Do you guys34:06understand what I'm saying? Right. So,34:08so people don't realize even that depth.34:11They think like he's just there like,34:13"No, he's under God's control. Please34:16don't ever. He's on a leash. Brothers34:18and sisters, you have to understand he34:20does not have free reign. So God is34:22like, I'm going to show him. I'm going34:24to use him. I'm sorry. To show you34:27understand what I'm saying, right? Make34:30sense, right? Who it is. How are you34:33still missing this? I'm sorry. You know,34:35I'm not trying to be mean, but how are34:37we still missing this, right? Come on,34:40guys. It's clear as day, right? Make34:43sense? Clear as day, right? He's on a34:46leash. Amen. It's it's He will allow34:49those things. Now, the only reason why34:51you would question that is because you34:53question God's goodness. Are you34:56understanding what I'm saying? That34:58that's the only issue because you're35:00good. Are you guys following me here?35:03That's the only reason why. Listen, you35:05don't think God knows what he's doing?35:07If God is allowing Satan to live, that's35:09a good thing. Huh? Who's willing to say35:12that by faith? Nobody. See, if I say35:15that immediately they think I'm wait so35:17he thinks God letting Satan do that's a35:19good thing. It is a good thing because35:21Romans 8:28 speaks about this. God35:24allows all the things for his greater35:27good. What Satan intended for evil, God35:30created as good, including himself. He's35:33like, "Oh, it's okay. I'm going to use35:35you to to do what you got to do." And35:39honestly, I'm glad. I'm glad and I'm and35:42I'm glad that Satan I know this sounds35:44crazy but I'm glad that Satan worked so35:46heavily in your guys' lives. You know35:47why? I'm glad he did because that showed35:51you how he showed his true colors to you35:54and you realized you couldn't follow him35:56anymore and follow yourself anymore. If35:58you if he didn't show that to you and if36:00he didn't do those things to you, you36:01would have never came to God. At least36:03you wouldn't have a amazing choice to36:06love God as well, right?36:09So at the end of the day, like I'm glad36:11I had my infirmities. And that's why36:13Paul says, "I will boast in my36:15infirmities. I will boast in my36:17weaknesses. I will boast in my36:18iniquities because when I am weak, then36:22I am strong." But people don't want to36:24be weak. They want to be strong. That's36:27like having the blessings of God without36:31having God. You know, Satan, he knew36:33scripture very well, but the one thing36:36he didn't know was surrender, right? A36:39lot of people know scripture. I'm not36:41the only one that can quote it off of my36:43brain, but he but people who know36:46scripture, they don't have surrender.36:48And it's the same way that Satan was36:50tempting Jesus. I'll give you these36:52kingdoms with no king. You be the king.36:55Because Jesus has to surrender to God.36:58Amen. At least in the fleshly form, he37:00does. Right. They're co-equal when it37:02comes to the spiritual divinity side.37:04But that he has to surrender his will in37:06a in a in a humanly way as a an37:09atonement for us. Right.37:11Right. And so if you sit here and you37:14only know scripture, but you don't you37:16don't quote the person who breathed all37:18that scripture which or you don't submit37:20to the person who you know breathe uh37:23scripture, then you're Satan. Amen.37:27Right? Understood? But the issue is37:30right like like like what papa is saying37:32right? How have you been able to37:33memorize scripture? So what repetition37:35or actual memorization but look at the37:37heart posture like what I'm just saying37:40without surrender it doesn't matter if37:42you can but what what is the mindset37:44here right? Uh anyways how do you37:47memorize it? It seems very good on a37:50surface level. Even in his heart, I can37:52see he thinks it's good. But let me show37:54you why that's dangerous, right? Because37:57like I said, if you memorize scripture37:59and you don't know surrender with God or38:01obedience with God, right? Then what38:04happens? You turn into Satan. You turn38:07demonic. You understand? Understand? Now38:11the issue here is I think I'm38:12surrendered to God. That's why they ask38:15these questions. Because if I say this,38:17what they think is I'm surrendered to38:19God. I guarantee you. Papa Butler, are38:21you surrendered to God? Are you do you38:23try to at least be obedient with God?38:25He'll answer right away. I guarantee38:27you. Yes. I try my best. I love my Lord38:30and Savior. I love understand you try38:32and you fail. So what I'm saying is you38:36cannot sit there, right, and and and38:40only quote scripture. And here's another38:42question for you and anyone of you guys38:44who are wondering this. How much how38:47many scriptures did it take you to get38:48saved? Don't you have a saving verse?38:52One. One. Right. So why do you want to38:55quote scripture? Watch this. Okay. I'll38:58I'll answer. The reason why people want39:00to quote scripture is most likely, not39:02in your case, but maybe most likely in39:04my experience, what I've seen, right?39:06Exactly. Is to back up discussion and39:08debate. Aka what? To win.39:13to save a soul. Amen, Papa Butler. To39:16save a soul, right? People are like,39:19"100, Bob, Sudi, right? 100." Amen. You39:23want to save a soul, right? But look at39:26how how dangerous that can be. Can I can39:29I can I show you why that's dangerous?39:31That's pure evil. Let me ask you39:34something. Are you the savior? Are you39:37the savior? No. It's rooted in pride.39:40You want to win. Why? Not to save the39:43soul. So you could look good. Be honest39:46here. So you know what you're talking39:47about. So you can look like you and you39:49feel valid. At the core of that, isn't39:52that a problem? If I preach the gospel39:56just to show God how good I am, just to39:59show others how acknowledged and40:01knowledgeable I am, do you think God's40:03going to honor that heart? For example,40:06for example, I was mentoring somebody40:08She's a virgin. She's a virgin. She's a40:11virgin, right? 30 plus, right? And isn't40:14that a good thing? Right, Papa? Papa,40:16isn't that a good thing, bro? A woman40:18held her virginity, bro, for 30 years,40:21bro. That's beautiful. Right. Amen. You40:24said yes. Right now, watch this. Do you40:26know what she told me? I'm not like40:29these other women who are lustful and40:32angry and open their legs for other40:35people. Yes, I pray for them, but40:38honestly, I love my God and I love them40:41more than these people. And that's why40:43I've been a virgin. And that's why I'm40:45showing people how it is to walk with40:47God because I walk with God. No, no, no,40:50no, papa. No, no, no, no. Don't do that.40:52Don't switch up now. You see what I'm40:54saying? So, what I'm trying to teach40:56here is heart posture. You get me? I40:58want to quote scripture, but you only41:00want to quote scripture, if you're being41:02honest, so that you can be boosted. Now41:04that will turn you into Satan is what41:06I'm saying. You you get it right in real41:08time. We can see heart posture here.41:10This is not about quoting scripture,41:13right? I never sat there once and said,41:15"Okay, Romans 3:23 says,"For many have."41:17No, no, no, not many. For all have41:21sinned. All Okay, let me do it again.41:23For all have sinned and fallen. No, it's41:26not fallen. It's come short. Stop saying41:28fallen. Come for many. No. for all have41:32s for all have s I don't do that because41:36I'm not worried about how I look in41:38front of people I know I'm this I'm not41:41the savior I'm the swer right I plant41:42the seed and I don't ever ever ever ever41:46do that I've never sat there once God is41:48my witness and go I need to memorize41:50scripture you know what happens I just41:52read the scripture and I read for God41:56and what is God talking about Jesus in41:59these scriptures so How many of you guys42:01read scripture and you read it for what?42:03Yourself. Understand what I'm saying?42:05Right. Right. 100. He's being real, Bob.42:08Come on, bro. Come on. You know better42:11than that. Right. Understand? Come on.42:13It's not about being real. Right. If I'm42:16100% real and egotistical and prideful,42:18is that a good thing, too?42:21If you love biblical lessons like this,42:23then you would love my weekly Bible42:25class. Bible class brings clarity,42:27community, and consistency. There are a42:29lot of us who read the Bible, but we42:31don't know how to apply that to our42:32lives. Consistency. Also, a lot of you42:34guys want to read the Bible, and you42:36don't know where to start, how to start,42:38and therefore it kind of discourages you42:40guys to read the Bible. So, every week42:42at on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. Pacific42:44Standard Time, we go through one chapter42:47and we break down every single verse and42:49apply those verses to your life. And42:51after the Bible class, we also do a42:53group mentor session where it's you can42:56ask me customized questions and anything42:58about the class and anything about your43:00own life. If this sounds interesting to43:02you, you guys can check the link in the43:04bio and use code wisdom to get 50% off43:07your first month. See you guys this43:09Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard43:12Time. Guys, try not to egg people on,43:15especially people who are new and need43:18the gospel. If you think that it's okay43:20to egg people on in that way, that's43:22very dangerous. Do you guys understand43:24what I'm saying? Right? You have to43:27realize something here, guys, in these43:30main stages. And I know you guys, a lot43:32of you guys with the clover thing on the43:33side is new, right? Amen. Right? You43:37have to realize surrender has to come43:39first before understanding and43:42knowledge. Because if you just have43:44knowledge without surrender, like I43:46said, you will become Satan. That's43:48Satan. He is the most unsurdered person,43:52but also the most wisest. It says in the43:55Bible, in Ezekiel, as well as Isaiah,43:57that he's made of bag pipes. He's44:00beautiful. He's wise as can be. It says44:04they call him the bright and morning44:05star, too, right? Jesus is the morning44:08star, but he fell like a morning star,44:10right? Meaning he was on that level with44:12him. Do you understand what I'm saying?44:15Understand? Right? So it means he had44:18that beauty that Jesus had. He had that44:21brain that Jesus had. He had that wisdom44:24that Jesus had. But the one thing he did44:26not have was surrender. Do you44:29understand what I'm saying? Right?44:31That's the issue with him. He couldn't44:33surrender himself. Everything he ever44:36did was for himself. Whereas everything44:38Jesus ever did was for God and the glory44:41of God. So even when you guys say I'm44:45doing this for the glory of God, right?44:48You have to really check that motive44:51deeply. And I'm going to say most of you44:53guys don't even know how to check your44:55own heart posture. Amen. Most of us, I44:59would say, don't even know how to. I'll45:02give you an example. Check my heart45:03posture right now. Okay? For those of45:06you guys who've learned, please don't45:08say anything. Okay, guys. Right. Did45:12King Saul after committing suicide, did45:16he go to heaven? Yes or no? Yes. Raul45:21failed. Lana failed.45:24Elizabeth failed. Well, did Okay. It's45:28up to God. Okay.45:30I don't know. For the honor and the45:32glory of God. Oh, we don't understand45:34God's grace. Yes. You guys all failed.45:37Can I explain to you why? No idea.45:40failed. I don't know. Failed. Dead face45:43emoji failed. What did I explain to you45:46guys? Did you hear what I said? I said45:50King Saul went to heaven, but look at my45:53heart posture, right? Did King Saul go45:55to heaven or not? But look at my heart45:58posture. My heart posture. There you go.46:02The the question shouldn't be yes or no.46:05The question should be why do you want46:06to know this? And then watch this. Well,46:09I just want to know because God had46:12stated that he was anointed and then46:14later on he left the spirit. So, right,46:18the spirit left him. So, what's going46:20on? So, two things are happening in my46:23heart. I'm leaking as I'm speaking.46:24Let's see if you can catch it. You want46:26to live for flesh or off yourself and46:28still be saved. Right? You learned this,46:30right? Obviously, I said to the people46:32who didn't learn this, understand what46:34I'm saying, right? Didn't God have46:37regret about Saul? Right? Right? See,46:38look, we're only focusing on surface46:41level. So, this is the heart posture.46:44When I sit here and I ask that question,46:47it's the same as asking, "Can I live46:50however I want just like Saul did?" And46:53then even if I go to destruction and46:55death, go to heaven still. Now, if you46:58guys answer that, you're going to egg47:00someone to do that. Do you understand?47:03You're going to convince and coers them47:05and even enable them enable them to do47:07that. Right? Do you guys understand what47:09I'm saying? Hey guys, so technically I'm47:12righteous, right, brothers and sisters?47:14So if I smoke weed tomorrow, watch my47:17heart. Watch my heart. So technically47:19we're righteous and and and perfected,47:21right, brothers and sisters? But47:22tomorrow, if I smoke weed again,47:25wouldn't that I'm still righteous and47:27perfected, aren't I? What's my heart47:30posture? It's This one's more obvious.47:33What is it? I want to smoke weed and I47:36want to live the way I want to live and47:38I don't want to surrender under God. Do47:41you understand what I'm saying? Right?47:44Make sense? The way you guys speak, you47:47know there's a saying that I always say,47:48right? When you speak, you leak. Amen.47:51When someone speaks, they are going to47:54leak. That myself included. So if I only47:57speak about the gospel, that's what I47:59leak out. If I only talk about, you48:01know, drugs, that's that's what I leak48:03out. Do do you guys understand what I'm48:05saying? Everyone's like that. If I'm48:06only talking about how right I am, then48:08that means I have self-righteousness.48:11So, in the same stroke, we really have48:13to learn how to read heart posture. The48:15issue is we don't even know how to read48:17other people's heart posture, let alone48:19our own. That's why when I sit here and48:21I go, "Hey, brother, you're a little bit48:23this." No, I'm not. You don't even know48:25me. It becomes this. because they don't48:28realize even their own heart posture.48:30What are you talking about? I'm just48:31asking a question, bro. Right? It48:33becomes this. There's a there's a48:35callousing that that kind of arises and48:38that arises in everybody. But the ones48:40who are different are the ones who go hm48:43okay he saw something and I didn't like48:45him touching me there and like you know48:47exposing that part of my heart. He48:49touched and pricricked a part but I48:50don't like it but let me hear him out.48:52Understand what I'm saying? Right? Like48:55even this this scripture right even what48:58he's asking here how can you read heart48:59posture when the heart is the biggest49:01liar right and then it'll be that's a49:04genuine question amen but what is the49:06heart behind that you guys understand49:08what I'm saying what is the heart behind49:11that right basically it's like this you49:14can't really read heart posture but49:16there's also a a 50% he wants to also49:18know like he's open to it but he's not49:22do you understand what I'm saying right49:24there's there's There's already an49:25assumption here that's like you can't49:27really read hard posture, but I'm I'm49:29willing to hear you out.49:31Now, that I cannot address. I have to49:34address first that if you only follow49:36when you agree and it makes sense to49:37you, Papa, who are you listening to, God49:41or yourself? See how you have to address49:44that first? Do you understand what I'm49:46saying? You're basically asking me to49:48make it make sense to you. Then if it49:51does, you'll agree. But that doesn't49:53mean that you have faith because faith49:55is things that don't make sense and we49:58still have to believe. Amen. Amen. So50:01then now that we understand the root50:03issue, now I can address it. If you can50:06confirm with this and I can address it,50:08right? First and foremost, the way you50:11read heart posture is to read it through50:14scripture. Everything that I'm saying is50:17through scripture because a man devisth50:21his plans. It says and the end result,50:25right, is what? God has to see it.50:28There's also another verse in Proverbs,50:30a man deiseth his way, right? God leads50:34his steps. But there's also another50:36scripture, a man devises heart. Three50:39different scriptures. But the end of it,50:42right, what's right to him in his eyes,50:44the end of it is destruction, right? And50:47the last part of it is very important.50:50What you quoted was Jeremiah 17:9.50:53Right? The heart is deceitful above all50:55things, desperately wicked. Who can know50:56it? That last part, you have to50:58understand, you're right. Who can know51:00it? But God knows all things. Right.51:03Right. And who is God? Jesus. Right. In51:07John 1:14, what is Jesus? If he knows51:10all things, how can you know the heart51:12then? By going to Jesus. But what does51:14it mean to go to Jesus? Logos. John51:171:14. It says, "The word was made flesh51:22and dwelt among us." So if you go to51:25Jesus, which is the word, and he knows51:28all things, it means the Bible knows all51:30things. So how can I know the heart? If51:33we go to the Bible, right? Amen. So51:38that's what it comes down to at the end51:39of the day. And plus, we also have a new51:41heart. We have a new heart in Ezekiel51:4336:26 that tells us he's God has given51:46us a new heart, right? So I know your51:49heart. And I I'll explain why I know.51:52Because the new heart is not an evil51:54heart. It's to distrust your old heart.51:57That's why he says, "I'll give you a new51:58spirit and a new heart." Now, but based52:01off of what you're speaking about, I can52:03tell how much you think you're a good52:05person. Even if you tell me no, I don't52:08think so. The fact that you can ask52:10those questions proves that you're a52:12good person. Proves that you can still52:14trust in yourself and your mind to ask52:16those questions. Do you understand what52:18I'm saying? Right? The new heart is to52:22distrust the old heart. Is to realize I52:24am nothing. I have nothing. I was never52:27good. But there's parts of us that every52:30one of us in here that still struggles52:32with. But I do know. And I'm just asking52:35a question. Do you guys understand that52:38heart is what I'm talking about? And52:40even though people say like, let me ask52:43you guys an honest question. Pull up uh52:45Jeremiah 17:9 again. Those of you who52:48did this exercise with me, don't don't52:50answer. Let the new people like maybe52:52the papa guy and other people, right,52:54who have the golden clover or the green52:57clover. So So let's read this carefully.53:00Papa, let me ask you since you're kind53:01of asking these questions, right? The53:03heart is deceitful above all things,53:05desperately wicked. Who can know it? Do53:07you believe this word? You believe,53:09right? The heart is deceitful above all53:10things. Amen. Right. Look, Elizabeth53:12Vexon, right? Mr. Elijah, right? Amen.53:16Amen. Right, Daniel? Yes. It leaks53:18sometimes. Hagen. Yes. Yes. I'm going to53:21tell you guys that you're all liars and53:23I'll prove it to you. No disrespect.53:25I'll prove it to you because the Bible53:27says all men are liars. Let God be true.53:28Myself included. I don't even know my53:30heart. Understand? So let's let's be53:32clear about this. Okay, look. Do you53:35guys struggle with anxiety, depression53:37or any type of sin? Like let's say53:40anxiety or depression or emptiness. So53:42Hagen, you you you right papa, you do,53:44right? XYZ, Nimrod, Elizabeth, worry,53:47lust, right? ADHD. Okay, interesting.53:50And those things arise where? From your53:53heart, doesn't it? So let me ask you53:55something. You just said you believe53:56that the heart is deceitful, meaning53:58it's a liar. above all things, meaning a54:00top liar. And it says it's desperately54:03wicked. So, uh, not just kind of bad,54:05extremely ugly and wicked. And who can54:08know it? Meaning, we don't know. But you54:10told me you do. So, let me explain54:12something. Would you guys trust a54:14pathological liar? No. No. No. No. No.54:17No. No. No. Would you trust a person54:19who's like a serial killer, narcissistic54:21person who's evil beyond anything? No.54:26And yet you trust your heart which is54:29more of a liar and more wicked than54:31them. Because if God is saying right54:35your heart is deceitful. So what I'm54:39trying to say is although you yeah I54:40believe this word is God. Yeah. You you54:42think you believe. See that's the54:44difference. People think they believe.54:48They don't actually believe. They just54:50think that they believe. They're in love54:52with this idea of love. They're in they54:54think that they're following God.54:56They're not actually following God. Does54:59that make sense? Because if you really55:01did, you would say, "No, I don't have55:02depression." Even if depression comes,55:04because the heart is deceitful. Feelings55:07change. You wouldn't say, "Yes, I do."55:10Do you understand?55:12True believing people will go, "You know55:14what? That's wrong. That's not true."55:18Amen. Right? You can't believe, but also55:22blind yourself to it. You can believe55:24but also blind yourself to it too. I55:26don't know what that means respectfully.55:28But what I'm saying here is right guess55:30about it. Think about it. Right. Think55:33about it. Right. I 100% know I don't55:36love God as much as I do my daughter and55:37I'm no I'm not supposed to. I'm turning55:39away from my heart and I recognize it55:41but just looking for the path away from55:43it. No, no, no, no. Can I Can I tell you55:45what it is? Can I tell you what it comes55:47down to? You trying to turn away from55:50your heart is still trusting in your55:52heart.55:53Because you're trusting in self, not55:55trusting in God. Do you understand what55:58I'm saying? You just said it. It's56:00turning away from my heart. And I56:03recognize it, but just looking for the56:06path away from it. You're looking,56:09you're trying to turn. You're doing it.56:11It's still trusting in self. What we56:14teach here is distrusting self. No, I56:16cannot do it. That's acknowledgment. And56:19that's why God has to do it. So the more56:22you come in here, right, you're going to56:25learn like JQ is having these unlocks.56:27Dude, everything I think I can do is56:29wrong. This is crazy. Exactly. That's56:31why you have to be here because faith56:34comes by hearing hearing the word of56:35God. Wow, that clicks so hard. Amen. So56:37I'm not trying to be disrespectful. My56:39tonality may seem a little, but I'm56:41trying to lead you for restoration so56:43you can be free. So what I've taught56:46anyone in here, don't try to speak to me56:48about what you think you are because we56:51know what you are according to the56:52scripture. Do you understand? I'm so56:56bad, but I want to discuss and debate56:58with people. Can that ever work? No.57:01That's why we have to there's many57:03things we got to fix, but we have to be57:05open to the fixing. Do you understand57:07what I'm what I'm saying? This is what57:10nurturers do. People who nurture people57:13do this. Hey, we need to nurture them in57:15faith. I want you guys to live your57:18life. Yes. But live your life for God.57:21Not what you think is for God, but57:24really what's for God. Make sense? Okay.57:28Right. Yeah. Because again, Zanith,57:29you're you've been in here for a minute57:31now. It's because what I say, you're57:33good. Understand? You still trust your57:36thoughts and and and don't worry that 157:38Corinthians 5:5 is for you. It's going57:41to God is going to let Satan ruin you so57:45that one day you can let go of all your57:47pain and your resentment towards other57:49people because they did you dirty.57:52Right? Again, this is idea of I'm a57:55person who thinks that I'm good, who57:58thinks that I'm evil, who thinks that57:59I'm surrendered. Understand what I'm58:01saying? God will allow that to happen.58:03He does that to me, guys. Satan even58:05pers me every day, too, through58:07temptation and loneliness and58:09frustration and everything. But the one58:11thing I've learned is I need that not a58:14condemning thing. I need him to push me58:17towards God because without him I would58:19run away. Do you guys understand what58:22I'm saying? Right? Amen. Yeah. So if you58:25did wrong and you admit it, then the58:27next step would be a level up would be58:30yes, they were supposed to do that to58:33me. I deserve that. Can you come to that58:35conclusion? And if you do, you wouldn't58:37be so salty. You wouldn't be so angry.58:39you would be like, "Oh, I'm glad that58:41they did that to me because this is what58:43pushed me to God. I'm also glad that God58:45didn't strike them down because that58:47would mean he'd have to strike me down."58:49Then right there, empathy and compassion58:51just flows out of you don't even have to58:52try. You don't have to forgive anybody.58:55You would naturally forgive somebody.58:57But that's if you guys are struggling58:59with forgiveness, I'm going to tell you59:00one thing. It's only because you're59:02good. It's it has nothing to do with59:04anyone else. It's only because I'm a59:07good person that should never they59:09should have never done that to me. It's59:11only because you have that heart.59:12Respectfully, there is no other. It59:15doesn't matter if they tricked you, lied59:16to you, that of course they're wrong for59:18that. But the reason why you can't let59:20it go is because you're right and you're59:22good. You don't do that to me. You know59:24who I am. I was only good. I was only59:26loving. I drew a line. I did this. I did59:28that. You shouldn't do that to me. I59:30didn't ask to be born. Like all of that59:32is because basically I'm a good person.59:34Amen. Right, guys? But but that's okay59:38to feel that way. There's nothing wrong59:41with feeling that way. Okay. There's59:43nothing wrong with feeling that way.59:45However, Right. Right. However, is your59:50good good in front of God. That's all I59:54ask you to do to step out of. Right.59:57Amen. All you guys have to do is as1:00:01right as you are, as right as you are in1:00:05front of God, are you right? I'm talking1:00:08about remove all the BS. Remove all the,1:00:11you know, feelings invol just honestly1:00:14in front of God. No, no one is right.1:00:16Why? Because of Romans 3:23. In fact,1:00:19we're all wrong. We're all unrighteous.1:00:23Amen. Right, guys? So, if you say, "I'm1:00:26nothing in front of God." Amen. then act1:00:28like it. If you're nothing, do you1:00:30deserve respect? No. Do you deserve1:00:32acknowledgement? No. Do you deserve any1:00:35of those things? No. Then you won't get1:00:36mad. But people know how to say that.1:00:39You guys are very good at saying things.1:00:42But when you look at the fruit of it,1:00:44it's impossible. It's damn near1:00:46impossible, right? No. Yeah, I'm evil,1:00:50but don't say that about me. It's like,1:00:52okay, then what are you saying then?1:00:54You're not evil. Don't just don't say1:00:55you're evil. Just say, "I'm hella good1:00:57and I'm amazing and I'm right." And1:00:59cling on to your self-righteousness.1:01:02Right? And then let's see how long it1:01:04takes you to let it go because God's1:01:06going to make you let it go. He will.1:01:08Trust me. Understand? He will let it go.1:01:10Right? For those of us who really1:01:12listen, we get freed from this. For1:01:15those of us who don't, we get confused.1:01:18But isn't God saying we're righteous?1:01:19But then, but then what the heck? So, am1:01:21I supposed to just let everyone walk1:01:22away from me? But then, what are you1:01:23saying? Are you saying this just to cope1:01:24so that you can do that? I and it it1:01:26becomes this. Do you understand what I'm1:01:28saying? Those who have a heart to really1:01:30listen and really know that they're1:01:31evil, they're thankful to hear this type1:01:33of knowledge because no one teaches1:01:35this. Most people teach you, you need1:01:37respect. You're a child of God. You're a1:01:38daughter of God. You're a son of God.1:01:40You demand this. You demand that. Walk1:01:42boldly. Walk confident. But Paul doesn't1:01:44talk about that. Paul says out of all of1:01:47the apostles, I'm the worst. I'm worse1:01:49than Judas. What? Bro wrote 14 books of1:01:53the of the New Testament. How is he1:01:55worse than Judas? If anything, he's the1:01:57standard. But he realizes in his heart,1:01:59I persecuted the church. I never even1:02:02cared about God. Right? 1 Corinthians1:02:0515:9,1:02:06right? I didn't care. And in front of1:02:09God, I'm nothing. I could save the whole1:02:11world, but I cannot do what Jesus does.1:02:14If you truly believe that, you don't1:02:17worry about people making heretic videos1:02:19about you. You don't worry about people1:02:21saying stuff about you. Just acknowledge1:02:22it. Yeah, I'm weak. I'm lacking. I'm1:02:25struggling. I'm this. I'm that.1:02:27Understand what I'm saying? Amen. Right.1:02:30But even that question, Papa Butler,1:02:32look, look at the heart in discussion or1:02:34debate. Am I only to stay back and1:02:37listen? How am I to participate without1:02:39betraying God? Can I, can I tell you1:02:42something, Papa? Have you not already1:02:44betrayed God? Do you see how it's deeply1:02:47ingrained in us that we still think we1:02:50don't bet? Exactly. every day, right?1:02:54And the next thought that Satan plants1:02:55is what? I I'll I'll say it for you,1:02:58right? So then what? We're just supposed1:03:00to do that all the time then? Then I'm1:03:01then it doesn't matter if I debate or1:03:02not then. Then what the hell is the1:03:03point of understand that's exactly what1:03:06Satan adds after? So aren't you supposed1:03:08to do good though? Aren't you supposed1:03:09to try and be? Of course, I'm not saying1:03:11you shouldn't. But when you acknowledge1:03:14from a foundational standpoint, ah, I'm1:03:17nothing. Then foundationally, you start1:03:19to move with what? grace, Lord. Whether1:03:23I discuss or debate, whether I move1:03:26forward, Lord, you will help me because1:03:29it doesn't matter what I've done, it's1:03:32not me who does anything. It shifts all1:03:35of the spotlight off of you back on to1:03:38God. Does this make sense? Right. So,1:03:41right now, you're in a paralysis. You're1:03:44overanalyzing.1:03:46Okay. Should I discuss this? Should I?1:03:47But I have to honor God. You have to1:03:49honor God. You've already dishonored1:03:51God. Oh, I need to step out of the1:03:54mindset that I can still honor God. And1:03:56I'm only honored by God because Jesus1:03:59sent because God sent Jesus who honored1:04:02in our place, who kept the commandments1:04:04in our place, who lived in our place and1:04:07died in our place. There's nothing I can1:04:09do but go to God and go to Jesus and1:04:12leave it all up to him. Right? But you1:04:16just want to be like, in victory and1:04:17defeat, everything should be for God. Of1:04:19course, of course, brother,1:04:22please listen to what I'm saying here.1:04:25We are not good people, but we never had1:04:28to be because Jesus, if we were good1:04:31people, Jesus wouldn't have to die. If1:04:35you can honor God and not honor God, he1:04:37wouldn't have to come down and die for1:04:40mine and your sin. So, stop being Jesus1:04:44and let Jesus be Jesus. You be you and1:04:47Jesus be Jesus. Let me explain. Two1:04:50magnets. What are what do magnets do?1:04:53What are they known for, brothers and1:04:54sisters? Sticking together, right? They1:04:57attract each other. They connect to each1:04:59other. But when you put a positive1:05:02magnet with a positive magnet, do they1:05:05stick together or do they push away?1:05:07They push away. They repel. So, in the1:05:10same way, when it comes to us being1:05:14negative sinners and Jesus being the1:05:16only positive good, doesn't that make1:05:19sense as to why we stick together? No. I1:05:22need to be me so I can draw to him. But1:05:25we keep trying to be Jesus and positive1:05:28and I'm going to stay away from him.1:05:31Even in this magnetized analogy, that's1:05:34how our lives are. Do you know what you1:05:37have to do? All you have to do is you1:05:39just have to come in here and you have1:05:42to listen because faith comes by1:05:45hearing, hearing the word of God. All1:05:48you have to do, Romans 10:17 says, you1:05:50come in here and you just keep listening1:05:52and one day you'll realize, dang, bro, I1:05:55I can't believe I I'm changed now.1:05:58Understand, right? That's literally what1:06:00it is. Bathe comes right here because1:06:03what I'm doing is I'm pouring. Now, if I1:06:06put a coke can over the faucet and I1:06:09just turn on the faucet and I let it run1:06:11over the opening of the coke can in the1:06:14beginning it will be water and coke1:06:16spewing out. But after maybe an hour,1:06:18maybe 2 hours will the what will1:06:21continuously flow out of the coke can?1:06:23Even though it says Coke on the outside,1:06:25what will come out of the inside? Water.1:06:28In the same way you come in here, you1:06:31keep getting poured into you. Just keep1:06:32an open heart and an open mind. Right?1:06:35Understand? And that's what it is. You1:06:38will learn, right? Understand? But look1:06:41at even this, right, Zanith? Some take1:06:44longer than others, including me, sadly.1:06:46Right? Do you know what the issue is1:06:49again? It's it's the goodness. You're1:06:52coming in here with a closed coke can is1:06:54what I'm saying. Do you understand?1:06:56Right. So it this one is not about just1:06:59you also that's why I said you have to1:07:00be open right so you're saying it takes1:07:04longer sadly for me why is it sad if1:07:08it's all part of God's timing1:07:10because you're good and you should not1:07:13be struggling that's what you think1:07:15understand what I'm saying right it's1:07:18okay about typing or not I'm just saying1:07:19we we have to address it you get what1:07:22I'm saying the issue is not that you1:07:24know we we want God's timing ing. That's1:07:27That's the thing. We don't want We We1:07:30want his timing to match our timing.1:07:32That's the issue. So, let's say you sit1:07:34here and you have to be in here for1:07:36three more years and then you finally1:07:38get it. What's wrong with that? That's1:07:40God's timing. Nothing. Do you understand1:07:43what I'm saying? But the issue is I'm a1:07:45good person and I want it now because1:07:48I'm a good person. That's why it's now.1:07:51I deserve it. Again, you're leaking. Do1:07:54do you understand what I'm saying? So,1:07:57you need to pray to God like this.1:07:58Father God, kill that good person in me.1:08:01How am I good just because I don't type?1:08:03I'm good. Just because I've quote1:08:05unquote forgiven my people, I'm good.1:08:07No, man. I'm not good because the Bible1:08:09says so. That takes 5 seconds. Ready?1:08:12I'll show you. Romans 3:10, right?1:08:17Understand what I'm saying? No, no, no.1:08:19You didn't. It's okay. Even if you1:08:20prayed for it, it's okay. You prayed for1:08:21a lot of things, right? Don't get that1:08:23good heart. I prayed and God heard and1:08:25no no no don't worry about that. Just1:08:27listen to me carefully. Romans 3:10 as1:08:30it is written there is none righteous1:08:31know not one. That takes 1 second to1:08:34believe. H I think I'm good but God says1:08:37there's none righteous know not one1:08:38aside from Jesus. We are evil. Psalm1:08:4214:2-3 reiterates this. Right. Tersus1:08:46through Paul is actually quoting1:08:48scripture here which is Psalm 142:3.1:08:52The Lord looked down from heaven upon1:08:53the children, right, of men to see if1:08:58there were any that did understand and1:08:59seek God. So he looked down God to see1:09:02if any one of us see him or did good.1:09:05Okay. Verse three. They are all all1:09:08means everybody gone aside. Everyone1:09:10went astray. They are all together1:09:12become filthy. All of us become filthy.1:09:14There is none that doeth good. No, not1:09:15one. Not even one person. None and one1:09:18is crazy, right? Not even one. That's a1:09:21double negative. So right there, hey1:09:24guys, I I preach the gospel. Do you1:09:26think I'm good? No, I'm filthy. And I1:09:29only preach the gospel because of Jesus.1:09:31Say that. Understand what I'm saying?1:09:34That's why you guys hear I never say I'm1:09:35good. I never say I did this well. In1:09:38fact, I'm always like, I struggle with1:09:40this. I struggle with that. I'm the same1:09:41as you guys. I'm not as good as you. If1:09:43anything, I'm worse than you guys. Do do1:09:45you understand where I'm getting this1:09:46from? Right? I never said be like me. I1:09:50said be like Jesus. Be like he don't be1:09:53like me. Be like him. Right. So in this1:09:58way we have to learn. Oh, I'm not a good1:10:00person. So today you guys can believe1:10:02that. Now people who are good or will be1:10:05like that's cultlike mentality. You're1:10:07just saying that so you can brainwash1:10:09us. Yeah. Brainwash you with the word of1:10:11God. Sure. Sure. Cuz I just quoted1:10:14scripture. Do you do you understand what1:10:16I'm saying? the the people who say that1:10:18what they're leaking is I don't want you1:10:20to tell me what to do even if it's1:10:22scripture then say that that's how I1:10:25trip up atheist back then if I can prove1:10:28to you Mr. atheist without the shadow of1:10:32a doubt that Jesus is God and the Bible1:10:36is true and God is real will you then1:10:38become Christian right there you see1:10:41them manifest well well I don't know1:10:45okay so if you're all about truth right1:10:48and you're all about truth seeeking as1:10:50you guys are right those atheist people1:10:52then what it is is what they really want1:10:54to say and they can't say this is don't1:10:57tell me what to do I don't care if1:11:00you're real or not. You don't tell me1:11:01what to do. That's their real heart. But1:11:04you can't just tell them that. No, I'm a1:11:06very good. They start to they start to1:11:07to deflect. I'm a very good person. I'm1:11:09also a philanthropist. I'm also No, I I1:11:11love I used to be Christian. I just1:11:13didn't like this and church. They they1:11:14they pile all of that. But what their1:11:16heart really is saying is I'm sick and1:11:18tired of you telling me God what to do1:11:20and I don't want to follow you. I want1:11:22to do whatever I want to do and I still1:11:24want to say I'm a good person. Do you1:11:26understand? So in this way when you1:11:29learn how to read heart posture, you1:11:31don't even fight that. You just1:11:33whatever. Especially if you're not1:11:35studied and you don't know how to read1:11:37heart posture. Please don't argue and1:11:38discuss and debate. You're going to look1:11:40like a fool. And it's going to feed your1:11:42pride when you get your little micro1:11:43wins. But it's going to do nothing to1:11:45bring people to the kingdom of God.1:11:48Nothing. It doesn't nurture people like1:11:50this. You know, we're like midday and1:11:52there's three there almost 600 people on1:11:55here. We mobilize because you guys know1:11:57that we're going to pour into you. You1:12:00guys understand what I'm saying, right?1:12:02Like it's very difficult to do these1:12:04types of things genuinely. You know,1:12:06Jeremy pointed that out. He's like, I1:12:09don't think you understand, Johnny, what1:12:11you actually do. And he's right. I don't1:12:13I don't think you understand how, you1:12:16know, companies are, you know, building1:12:19like even 10 people, you know, employees1:12:22is like a pretty pretty large feat. We1:12:24have 33 people. We're putting on like1:12:26four or five more people. At the end of1:12:28the year, we're gonna probably have 431:12:30people, maybe even 50 people on our1:12:32team, right? To just build. You guys1:12:34see, we're hiring events coordinator.1:12:36We're doing interviews. We're finding1:12:38A-level players. It's really cool. But1:12:41all of that cannot be done if a person1:12:43doesn't have their heart in check by1:12:45God. If they don't have, you understand1:12:47what I'm saying? If they don't realize1:12:49that they're evil. Do you guys know1:12:50every single day what my prayer is? Why1:12:53I wake up every morning at 4:30 in the1:12:55morning because I'm better than you1:12:56guys. Because I love to be like,1:12:57"Yippee,"1:12:59and flip off the the the the sun and be1:13:01like, "I got up before you." Like, you1:13:04think that you think that's what it is?1:13:05You think I'm like on on a uh David1:13:08Gogggins energy? Yeah. Who's going to1:13:11carry the boats? You know, it's like,1:13:12you think I'm that? No. I get up. Do you1:13:17know why? Do you know why I get up?1:13:19Because I have no answers. I don't know1:13:22how to run a congregation to be honest.1:13:24I don't know how to help you guys. So1:13:27what do I do every morning? I seek God.1:13:29God, please help me. Help me with my1:13:32tongue. Help me with my tonality. Help1:13:34me run my freaking 33 people in the1:13:37company that all have different energies1:13:40and different personalities that must be1:13:42micromanaged and yet all have valid1:13:44points. And I don't know who's wrong and1:13:46who's right. and this guy came with the1:13:48list of things and that lady came up1:13:49with the list of things and I don't Lord1:13:52please help me. That's why I get up. I1:13:55don't get up because I'm like yeah1:13:57discipline1:14:00understand you think I don't love my1:14:02bed. Come on. My bed never argues with1:14:05me. My bed doesn't ask me how many1:14:07scriptures how did I learn scriptures.1:14:09My bed doesn't go hey Johnny there's a1:14:10there's a video about you. Uh what what1:14:12were you talking about here? Hey Johnny,1:14:14if God is good, why does he allow babies1:14:16to die? Hey Johnny, what's the1:14:17difference between Christian1:14:18denominations? And hey, well, hey1:14:20Johnny, you know, uh, you said this one1:14:22thing, but then you said another thing1:14:23and I don't understand. Hey Johnny, why1:14:24do you still have tattoos? Hey, you1:14:26think my bed does that? My bed only does1:14:28one thing. It just goes, "Come to papa.1:14:32I'll hold you. Oh, you're a little1:14:35you're a little hot." Okay, here's a1:14:36setting to be a little bit cool. My bed1:14:39tells me don't leave every day. Don't1:14:41leave me. It sings it sings that Black1:14:43Street song. Don't leave. You know that1:14:44song? Don't leave me, girl. Don't leave1:14:46me. Right? Sings that song. I'm like,1:14:49dang, bro. Every morning I wake up and I1:14:51look back at it and I get, you know,1:14:54abandonment issues, right? I'm like,1:14:57dang, I had to abandon this freaking bed1:14:59and go out into this world, right? What1:15:03I'm saying, brothers and sisters, is I1:15:05need help. I need you guys to pray for1:15:08me. Many times, I wanted to quit the1:15:10congregation. Many times I wanted to run1:15:12away from core of the heart, right? You1:15:15know, I'm I'm looking for people, right?1:15:17Like I'm looking for people and all1:15:20these people, you know what they do at1:15:22our company? We have hundreds of1:15:25applicants and every applicant, they1:15:28think we're stupid. They literally1:15:31follow zero direction. All of their1:15:34responses are chat GPT. They think we1:15:37can't figure that out. There's not one1:15:40person who even want they how how1:15:43embarrassing is that? Like you're you're1:15:46and some of these guys are like, you1:15:48know, older middle-aged people. Some of1:15:50these guys are like not, you know, past1:15:52the the the the the Gen Z era. Like1:15:56they're using chat PT. Some of these1:15:58even paste like, well, very good1:16:01question. Here's how I would answer1:16:03Johnny. And they even leave that part in1:16:05there. I'm like, what the f? Talk about1:16:08attention to detail. This role is about1:16:11attention to detail and you missed your1:16:13own. Like, what are you saying right1:16:16now? And they flip. They flip out. You1:16:19should see the emails. Oh, you1:16:21discriminating against me because And1:16:23I'm like, what? Because you use chat PT1:16:26and it's my fault. Guys, genuinely, the1:16:29entitlement is wild. I'm not trying to1:16:32be disrespectful. I know you guys use1:16:34chachi BT too, but guys, how can you you1:16:39use something artificial on a business1:16:42that's spiritual? You have no shame,1:16:45right? I told this you have no shame. I1:16:46didn't say it, but like in my heart, I'm1:16:48like, they have no shame. This is a1:16:51spiritual business. You can use it to1:16:54organize things. Like I don't care if1:16:55they use tragedy to doctor up the1:16:57resume. That's fine. I mean, you know,1:16:59but to straight up be like do research1:17:02on who Johnny is cuz they think winning1:17:04my heart is floating my boat. I rather I1:17:07when you guys apply for a job, I'll give1:17:09you guys an honest truth here. Create1:17:11your role. Don't apply for the role.1:17:14What I mean by that is if you jump into1:17:17a pool where everybody is going for that1:17:19one thing, now you're you're comparing.1:17:21But if you study a business and you use1:17:24your skills how to help benefit the1:17:26business, you have now created a role1:17:29and a lane for yourself. Do you1:17:31understand what I'm saying? You're no1:17:33longer fighting anymore with millions of1:17:35chat GBT people. You're now realizing1:17:39let me see how I can level up this thing1:17:41that they couldn't even see. And that's1:17:43impressive. Do you understand Johnny?1:17:46Here's a solution that I think would1:17:48help you. That is what we look for. And1:17:51that's what anybody, how can you say no1:17:53to that? Any business can do that. Do1:17:56you understand? You have to add value.1:17:58Amen. But people don't care about that.1:18:01When they're working, they're only1:18:03thinking about themselves.1:18:05Do you understand? How do I make money?1:18:07How do I show myself to to to show that1:18:10I'm, you know, I I deserve this role?1:18:13They only think. See, that's why1:18:14Christianity and true biblical salvation1:18:16when I teach you guys is so good. It1:18:19teaches you how to think for others.1:18:20What does this company what can I do to1:18:22add value to this company? That's how1:18:24you should be thinking. But what do you1:18:26think? I got bills to pay. I need to1:18:27hurry up and get this job. Do you see1:18:29the difference? Do you see the1:18:31difference? You understand? Amen. We're1:18:34hiring, guys. Core of the Heart is1:18:36hiring. But listen carefully. We're not1:18:38just building a company. We're building1:18:39one of the fastest growing Christian1:18:41communities in the world. In just a year1:18:43and a half, this community has grown to1:18:44over 3 million strong. And we're nowhere1:18:47near done. Our mission is simple but1:18:48massive. to build the best tools and1:18:50resources to help anyone in the world1:18:52get closer to God.1:18:53>> Our first immediate goal is to get a1:18:55100red million people into heaven. So1:18:56when we say we're hiring, understand1:18:58this. We're not looking for employees.1:19:00We're looking for missiondriven A1:19:02players that want to change the world.1:19:03Our criteria is simple. Don't show us1:19:05what you could do. Show us what you've1:19:06already mastered. Like if you want to be1:19:08the short form editor, show me the1:19:09millions of views you've gotten on Short1:19:11Form. If you want to be the podcast1:19:12producer, show me the shows that you've1:19:14successfully produced. We've learned the1:19:15hard way not to hire off potential. We1:19:17just want to hire off of peer1:19:18experience. People who have already1:19:20proven that they can perform at their1:19:22skill set at the highest level. We have1:19:23jobs available in many different1:19:25departments, media and content, live1:19:27events, and marketing. We also have1:19:29remote jobs and LA based jobs available.1:19:31If you're an A player that has mastered1:19:33their craft and wants to do something1:19:34that glorifies God, then please head to1:19:36the link in our description and check1:19:38out the job board. And lastly, if you're1:19:40an absolute beast at something and you1:19:41don't see it on the job board, please1:19:43reach out. I mean, you know, you might1:19:44be able to do it for us. It might work1:19:45out. So, if you're amazing at something,1:19:47you don't see the perfect job1:19:48description, just reach out. Tell us1:19:50what you're good at. Maybe it'll work.1:19:51>> Genuinely, I can't do this without a1:19:52team. So, I'm very thankful for anyone1:19:54who supports the mission. I look forward1:19:56to hearing from you guys. So, there's a1:19:58heart posture that we can learn and1:20:00apply into all things. Make sense? But1:20:03if you don't even have the heart to1:20:04listen or the heart to think about1:20:06others, which is foundational for1:20:09Christianity, what makes you think1:20:11you're going to be successful in your1:20:12life? Never.1:20:14The one thing I had to learn was to care1:20:16for others and think for other people1:20:18and pray for other people and cut1:20:21certain people and also set boundaries1:20:23with other people. But even when I'm1:20:25doing that, it's to propel you into God.1:20:28Do you guys understand what I'm saying?1:20:30Right? So we we do that in our company1:20:34now. We have a lot of systems and1:20:35processes and we don't want people that1:20:38can only work the system or answer the1:20:40right things.1:20:42We want people that can help us expand,1:20:45who are A-level players and can run1:20:47their course by themselves without1:20:49handholding. And you know, it's a very1:20:52difficult feat. But you know what's1:20:54crazy? The more I wake up every morning1:20:56and pray about these things, the more1:20:57God has been adding intricate details.1:20:59Look at our videos. Look at everything1:21:02that's happening. The app, do you guys1:21:04realize God is sending things to level1:21:06us up crazy? It's not anything we're1:21:08doing wrong. Look at God making us a1:21:10church. We are now officially COTH1:21:13ministries. Not aside from my original1:21:16church, this is our own church now. I1:21:20can appoint Jeremy as a secretary. I can1:21:22appoint this person as a deacon. I can1:21:24give and ordain people now as an actual1:21:27pastor. Right? I was a minister back1:21:29then. Understand? Why does God1:21:32continuously bless us? Now, this will1:21:34piss some people off hearing this and1:21:36this will piss some people off who1:21:38don't. Right. Right. And and then this1:21:41would make some people happy. I hope it1:21:43makes you guys happy. I'm not boasting1:21:45about me. I'm saying that same God who1:21:49worked in a wretched piece of garbage1:21:51human being like me, who's lustful,1:21:54angry, uh uh manipulative, uh lying,1:21:57backbiting, uh what does the Bible say?1:22:00uh lchivous um uh uh plotting, cunning,1:22:04sly, all of that, right? God works. Now,1:22:08how much more so will he work in you?1:22:11Honestly, how much? But you have to have1:22:14faith. That's the difference here. And1:22:17faith is distrusting your thoughts and1:22:19your feelings and your solutions.1:22:21Distrusting your perspectives,1:22:23distrusting your trauma, distrusting1:22:25everything that makes sense to you and1:22:26your perspectives and only trusting God.1:22:30Every single time things fail, you think1:22:33you have to think about Jesus. You have1:22:34to think about Paul. Shoot, think about1:22:36me, man. Johnny could have failed many1:22:39times. He came out with this. He had no1:22:41education. yada yada yada. God, you're1:22:45helping him. How much more so? But1:22:48instead, what do we do? Very hard for1:22:51me. Exactly. Very difficult. Yes. So1:22:55shall it be. How can you guys think by1:22:58trusting your thoughts and trusting the1:23:00thought that it's very hard? That's just1:23:02the thought. It's not hard. Understand?1:23:05It's just hard to you. Right? You said1:23:08it very hard for me. Amen. But is it1:23:12hard for Jesus though? Why do we always1:23:15add ourselves into the equation? Even1:23:18that little bit, you can see where your1:23:20heart is fully aligned with yourself.1:23:23Very hard for me. Very hard for myself.1:23:26I can't do that. I will never. I will1:23:29always be this way. I will. Why do you1:23:31add yourself when God didn't even add1:23:33you into the equation? Do you1:23:35understand? Because we're good. That's1:23:38why I'm good. So, I love Johnny when1:23:42he's stroking my ego, but when he checks1:23:44me and asks me for obedience and tries1:23:47to correct me, to restore me, not to1:23:48shun me and expose me, I don't like him1:23:50and I hate him. But all I'm trying to do1:23:55is make sure, right, that you guys live1:23:59happily. I don't know you guys1:24:01personally, but I want you guys to be1:24:04happy with or without me. I don't care1:24:06if you leave this congregation and you1:24:08find happiness and you and you preach1:24:09the gospel. I've done my job and God has1:24:12done his job. You don't have to stay1:24:15here. You don't have to give me money.1:24:17You don't have to do none of that stuff.1:24:19You just have to be happy and live and1:24:21preach the gospel. That's all I ask of1:24:23you because that's what God wants. He1:24:25wants you to be happy, right? Amen. I I1:24:30will correct, but I'm only going to1:24:32correct to restore you guys. I'm not1:24:34correcting to go, you're stupid and I'm1:24:36smarter. Understand what I'm saying,1:24:39right? Make sense? The whole point is to1:24:42restore you. Hey, let's not focus on1:24:44that. Let's focus on Jesus. Amen. Let's1:24:48focus on what Jesus can do. Notice how1:24:50the brother keeps saying me, my pride,1:24:52my ego, very difficult for me. And I1:24:54keep saying it doesn't matter what you1:24:56feel. I'm sorry that's maybe1:24:58insensitive, but it's all about Jesus.1:25:00Jesus is doing this. Jesus will do it.1:25:02Jesus will do it. Jes, that's my their1:25:05their answers and their questions are I1:25:07got to do it. I got to do it. And I'm1:25:08saying no. Jesus would do it. Jesus1:25:10would do it. Jesus would do it. And1:25:11Jesus did do it. Like that's all I'm1:25:13saying. If you if you peel back the1:25:15layer of the onion, it's literally that1:25:17at the core of it. We're saying no,1:25:20Jesus won't do it. I'm saying how can1:25:22Jesus not do it? We're saying no, it's1:25:25difficult. I got to let him do it. No,1:25:27whether you let him or not, he's going1:25:29to work. He's not constrained and1:25:30confounded by us. What the heck? That's1:25:33arrogant to think that, right? There's1:25:36nothing we can do to stop him or start1:25:40him. He works where he works. So, either1:25:43you're going to trust him or you're not.1:25:45He's still going to work. It's just you1:25:48won't see it every time he works. That's1:25:50the issue. Most people are not1:25:51struggling with believing in Jesus.1:25:53They're struggling with seeing his work1:25:56and not and and and throwing away what1:25:58they see. Right? If I if if you're if1:26:02you have an expectation, brothers and1:26:03sisters, of to make to make a salary of1:26:10$100,000 a year. Let's say you have that1:26:13expectation. You want to make 100k a1:26:14year, right? But I I but you make 80k a1:26:19year, which is still above average for a1:26:21lot of people, right? Are you going to1:26:23be happy? No. You're going to be like,1:26:25"Ah, but that 20,000 though, why can't I1:26:29get it to 100K?" Like, it's you you're1:26:32you're getting blessed, but you're like,1:26:34"Nah, it's not blessing in my eyes,1:26:36though." Then whose problem is that? The1:26:38banks, your your your your bosses. No,1:26:41it's yours, right? Think about it. If I1:26:44if if when you guys bought your first1:26:46phone, right? Like every time you buy a1:26:49new phone, isn't it fun? It's like,1:26:51"Wow, it's amazing. It's beautiful." But1:26:54then after a while, right, it starts to1:26:57get like, you know, outdated and right1:27:01make sense. Starts to get like, you1:27:03know, slower in your eyes and it's just1:27:06like it loses value in your eyes. I1:27:10mean, did the phone stop making calls?1:27:13Did it stop having Instagram? And no,1:27:16what changed your expectation and your1:27:18heart did? The phone is always iPhone1:27:2115, iPhone 14, iPhone 13. What changes1:27:25is your heart changes. Your car that you1:27:28bought 4 years ago that was brand1:27:30spanking new with the new car and the1:27:32leather smell and you were, you know,1:27:34you know, slowly slowly like loving on1:27:36it and you loved it more than your1:27:37freaking wife or your husband and now1:27:40you're like, you do a little curb rash.1:27:43Ah, whatever. It's h you know, you you1:27:46you used to pump premium. Now you're1:27:48like, h it's a little heavy on my1:27:50wallet. H I wish this car had better R,1:27:53you know. Ooh, that Tesla's nicer.1:27:55That's a self-driving car. Oh, man. Woo1:27:57w1:28:01right. What changed the car? The car1:28:04transformed? Was it like a became a1:28:06transformer?1:28:08Huh? Optimus Prime, you need to be1:28:10happier. Is that what it did? Right.1:28:13Right? Is that what it did? No. It's1:28:16still the same car, but your heart1:28:18changed. You understand? Right. So, in1:28:20the same way, we treat Jesus like that.1:28:24Wow. I'm so good. Yeah. Wow. Wow. I1:28:26received salvation. Wow. It's amazing.1:28:29And then two months later, bro, all this1:28:31bro does is talk about salvation, bro.1:28:33Like, give me some unlocks. The hell's1:28:34wrong with you? Every day, all he says1:28:37is distrust your thought. Distrust your1:28:39thoughts. Distrust your thought. Okay.1:28:41What else does bro say? Understand? Oh,1:28:44they distrust your thoughts. Oh, don't1:28:47follow your heart. Oh, you're dirt.1:28:48You're dirt. You're a sinner. Hebrews1:28:5010:14. Hebrews 10:14. Hebrews 10:14.1:28:53Romans 3:24. Romans 3:24. 1 Corinthians1:28:5516. 1 Corinthians 6:11. 61. Bro, does he1:28:59not say anything else? I think Johnny1:29:01doesn't really know that many scripture.1:29:02He just knows those scriptures. Isaiah1:29:0440:31. Jeremiah 29:11. Isaiah 40:31.1:29:07Jeremiah Dude, what the hell's wrong1:29:08with him? No, but talk about this. Like,1:29:11no, but what about the Nephilim? What1:29:13about like, you know, the gift of the1:29:16spirit, bro? What about sanctification?1:29:17Is it a process? Is it ongoing? Is it1:29:19positional? Is it progressive? Is it1:29:22Come on, man. Talk about baptism. Talk1:29:25about fasting. Talk about things that I1:29:27can do for myself to feel better. Do you1:29:30understand? Cuz it ain't it no more.1:29:33That's why we're wicked. Do you know how1:29:35many people would kill and pay millions1:29:37and millions and billions of dollars1:29:39just to get to heaven? And we got it1:29:41just like that. This is what we have to1:29:44really focus on. Our hearts are always1:29:47wicked this way. That's why we have to1:29:49renew it every day. We have to distrust1:29:51it every day. We have to go to God every1:29:52day. Myself included. Not just you guys.1:29:55Me too. Me too, guys. Amen. Right. Some1:30:00of you guys are just going to hate me. I1:30:02know some of you guys will go against1:30:04me. I know. But understand one thing.1:30:07It's usually because the heart is not1:30:10exalted and it's just not going our way.1:30:13That's why I tell you guys focus deeply1:30:16and heavily on your spiritual life1:30:18because then you can't blame other1:30:20people. You have to then look at1:30:22yourself. You have to be honest with1:30:24yourself. Right? Amen. Instead of you're1:30:27not honest with me, you're not honest1:30:29with me. He's not honest with her. It's1:30:31more of I need to be honest with myself.1:30:33Understand? What am I struggling with?1:30:35Am I struggling with porn? Okay. Pastor1:30:38Johnny says he struggles with lust.1:30:39That's not an issue. Am I struggling1:30:41with guilt? Well, Pastor Johnny says he1:30:43struggles with guilt. What's the issue1:30:44with that? Pastor Johnny says he gets1:30:46angry all the time. I'm angry right now.1:30:48What's the issue with that? Like, you1:30:49can do this versus I'm struggling with1:30:52lust, but I don't want to I want to hide1:30:54it so I can look good. So, I'm going to1:30:55say everybody else needs to stop1:30:56struggling with lust. So it looks like1:30:57like I'm a champion for that, but I'm1:30:59actually struggling all day every day1:31:0024/7. Watch porn like five times a day,1:31:04right? Understand what I'm saying? Like1:31:06it's it's it's human beings are are are1:31:09this way. There is nothing that you guys1:31:12are going to step out of without Jesus1:31:14Christ. And in that same stroke, you1:31:17shouldn't get mad at other people for1:31:20struggling with something too because1:31:22that just means their timing isn't1:31:23right. understand that the timing of God1:31:26is not there yet. That whatever he's1:31:28doing, best believe he's allowing that1:31:30to happen for what? For what, guys? For1:31:33what? So that he can show you guys. Show1:31:38you guys what? Whatever lessons he's1:31:40trying to show you. I don't know. Amen.1:31:43It's a lesson or a blessing. At the end1:31:45of the day, what people don't realize is1:31:46you gain something out of it. There's1:31:48nothing that's ever wasted by God. Trust1:31:50me, there's nothing that's ever1:31:52coincidental. So the man that played1:31:54you, the woman that played you, the the1:31:55the the your home girl that backstabbed1:31:57you, the guy that backstabbed you, all1:32:00of these things, brothers and sisters,1:32:02was for a reason. There's a reasoning1:32:04behind it all. Understand? Right?1:32:07There's a reasoning behind it. Right?1:32:10All right. Okay. I got to call Aaron1:32:11real quick, guys. All right. Please pray1:32:14for him. I'll talk to you guys later.1:32:17Bye, everybody. Bye.
