0:00i saw a woman comment on my facebook0:01that said uh narcissists mirror us so i0:03fell in love with my so first of all if0:06you don't already follow lee go follow0:07him right now he's a diagnosed0:09narcissist he's been in therapy for0:10years and his whole page is just giving0:12insight into how his brain works in0:14certain situations but i want to0:15reiterate what he said in this video in0:17a slightly different way and that's that0:19narcissists mirror your good traits so0:21you actually fall in love with yourself0:23at the beginning of a relationship with0:24a narcissist and i think for a lot of us0:27that have struggled with self-esteem0:28it's easier to see our good traits in0:30someone else than it is to see them in0:32ourselves0:33like we probably grew up in a situation0:35where we were not allowed to own those0:37things about ourselves so if you take a0:39second and you really sit with that you0:41realize that this complete stranger0:44thought these good traits in you were so0:46obvious that they mirrored them back to0:48you they picked up on them right away0:50that's how obvious it is that you're a0:52good person and they wished that they0:54had those traits0:56so if a complete stranger can pick up on0:57it you can too
