0:00it looks like this fluid is moving0:01extremely fast flowing around in a0:03circle but it's not doing what spinning0:06fluid should do like flying out to the0:08edge of the container due to the0:09centrifugal0:11force and if I stick my finger in it you0:14can see that the fluid isn't actually0:16moving it's not flowing around my finger0:18getting blocked by it but what is moving0:20is waves this is ferrofluid and I stuck0:24it above a plate that spins magnets0:26below it this causes the Peaks and0:28valleys of the fluid inst AB ility0:30spikes to move around and flow with the0:32magnet even though the actual fluid0:34isn't0:36moving okay so I just stick this under0:39here then put my ferof fluid on top of0:43it so I can spin this plate below it0:45let's see what happens when I spin it0:47really fast0:51now the spikes in the ferof fluid start0:54rotating faster and faster but the fluid0:56isn't actually moving
