Please17:50everyone look closer to the screen I17:52shared with you.17:55The theme is a gift for something.18:02Every word begins with something small18:04like a question, a memory, an image and18:07character or perhaps a strange idea that18:10refuses to leave your head. So the theme18:13of a triplesim season one is a gift for18:17this blanket is yours to complete. Your18:20world might be a gift for a person, a18:23community, a future generation, another18:26species or even a version of yourself.18:29It can be like emotional, practical,18:31playful18:33or surreal or deeply personal. The18:37important question is not simple like18:39what can I generate? The more meaningful18:41question is who or what in this world18:44is.18:47This is where your project begins. I18:49think technology gives us new ways to18:52create but intention gives what we18:55create meaning. Though throughout the18:57triples, we'll invite you to use AI, 3D19:00tools, immersive tech, storytelling,19:04interaction, and the physical19:06fabrication to transform the intention19:09into an experience.19:19Welcome everyone again.19:22is the triples online globally online19:25kickoff session.19:32So first of all this is the first world19:34building 3D hackathon. You19:46may participate individually or form a19:50team of of top to three people. A strong19:54team does not necessarily mean having19:56three people with exactly the same19:58skills. You might combine the developer20:01with an artist or maybe a filmmaker with20:04a 3D designer or someone who knows20:08precisely what they are doing with20:09someone who is extremely good at20:11searching through the documentation.20:15that the second skill is more valuable20:17than we sometimes admit. The competition20:20brings together creative storytelling,20:23generative 3D, interactive tech,20:26immersive media, and physical20:28production.20:29You guys participants will develop their20:32projects during the competition period20:34and submit a complete experience for20:36evaluation. There are five23:50direction tracks are the game the film F23:54VFX the VR XR AI AR and the A apps and24:00uh the physical design. Your direction24:03track should reflect the main main form24:06in which your audience experiences the24:09project. For example, project may24:11contain the cinematic sequences or the24:13interactive elements and 3D printing24:16assets at the same time, but you choose24:18but you should at least choose like one24:20direction that the best represent the24:22core experience. But we encourage you24:24guys to like choose different uh24:26direction tracks to uh win the game, win24:29the the the the prize pool.24:35Okay, we will now introduce the vision24:38and global scale of the triplesum. Next,24:40it's my great pleasure to introduce our24:43judge representative, Professor John24:44Mahoney. John is an adjunct associate24:48professor in the John C. Hench division24:51of animation and digital arts at the USC24:54school of cinematic arts. With his24:57experience in animation, the visual24:59storytelling, world building, and a25:01creative education, John brings an25:04important perspective on how an idea can25:07be transformed into a compelling and25:10meaningful world. So, as a a film and25:13media students at UC Irvine myself, I'm25:15I'm especially excited about like this25:17conversation and sharing Like in film25:20and media studies we often discuss how25:22images or the sounds spaces and the25:25narrative shape the the way uh the25:27audience experiences a story and I think25:30triple25:32uh expands the same question into25:34interactive and the three-dimensional25:36words like how do we make audience feel25:38something not only by showing them a25:40world but by allowing them to enter it.25:43I think today John will share creative25:46guidance for our participants and25:48discuss what can make a world building25:51project truly memorable. Please join me25:54in welcoming Professor John Mahoney26:00and professor you may show the request26:03and I will let you join.26:20Hi, Professor John.26:22>> Hello. Can you hear me?26:24>> Yes, sure.26:25>> Oh, thank goodness.26:26>> Everybody here, Professor.26:30>> Great. All right. Very good. Um, let's26:33see. So, I should share my screen.26:38See if we can do this.27:13Okay. Can you can you guys see my27:15screen?27:24Hello. Checking to see if you can sh see27:27my screen.27:37Hello.27:43>> Yes, we can see. We can see it.27:45>> Oh, you can. Okay. I'm just making sure.27:48>> Yeah. Yeah.27:49>> Okay.27:50>> Okay. Okay. So, um I'm just going to27:54play my keynote here and this will be27:57about 15 14 minutes.28:00Um and hopefully it works out. Okay. Uh28:05let's see. Just move one thing over28:08here.28:10Wow. Okay.28:13Jipathon. Here we go. Um so, my name is28:17John Mahoney. uh filmmaker, sculptor,28:20professor, and I've been teaching for a28:24little over 20 years uh Cal Arts USC28:28Lucasfilm.28:30And anyway, I'm really excited about28:32this whole idea of the Chipathon and28:36encouraging people to be creative, which28:38is something that I'm really passionate28:41about. Um, here are some of my artwork28:44here. Uh, comic book design things. And28:47the way I think is I like to28:50mix things together, mixing this with28:53that to create some fantasy world or28:56science fiction. And I find that the28:59Tripo uh company and the the program is29:03perfect for that type of thing, you29:05know. So, once I started playing around29:08with it, I started getting more and more29:09excited. Here is some of my ZBrush work.29:12You know, so I've been sculpting uh with29:15clay and ZBrush for many, many years.29:18And now being able to scan my own29:21drawings or uh physical clay figures and29:25bring it into the world uh of Tripo,29:28then into CG, then back to 3D printing29:32has been uh has been pretty incredible,29:36actually. Um here's one of my characters29:39here. This was started as a 2D concept29:43that was then brought into 3D and then29:463D printed back out again. And I had uh29:50someone from Sideshow Collectibles29:53uh paint my sculpture for me. And this29:56is a concept for my uh film. I'm doing a29:59liveaction well CG liveaction30:03science fiction feature all by myself.30:07And these programs that are available to30:10us to allow us to, you know, kind of30:13like create our own ideas is pretty30:16amazing. I tell it to my students every30:19week. I said, "This is the best time to30:21be a student and the best time to be an30:23artist because you have all these things30:25to help you um you know, make your make30:29your ideas a reality."30:33Um, so this is kind of part of how I30:37work, which is I just find31:06stuff like that. and use the technology31:08to help you. But like our speaker said31:10at the beginning, it's about your31:12creativity. It's not necessarily about31:15the program. The program is just helping31:17you. I say this every day, turbocharge31:20your creativity.31:22Okay,31:24so this is a video. Hopefully the sound31:27comes through.31:29It's just a little little one minute31:31video I put together.31:36Yeah.32:43So, I put put together a whole thing uh32:45last night actually. It was like a last32:47minute, hey, maybe I should do32:48something. Um, but anyway, so have fun.32:53Have fun with this type of thing. So,32:56the big thing is when people say be32:58creative, what does that mean and how do33:01we become creative? you know, so I33:04always say uh to my students, look at33:07classic art, you know, to get yourself33:10inspired. There's so much there's so33:13much stuff to be inspired by uh on the33:16internet that it's overwhelming. I33:18understand that. But if you start33:20looking at the classic uh art and start33:24looking into it and saying, "Oh, wait,33:26wait a minute. I could try that33:27digitally." You know, it's not ne it's33:30not copying or stealing an image, but33:33it's looking at what people have done in33:36the past and just becoming inspired by33:39them. I was just This is a33:41constructivism done back, I think, the33:43late 1960s,33:45I believe. And look how creative this33:47stuff was back then. You know, if these33:50people were alive, they would love33:52tripo. Come on. You know, it's it's a33:54way of um33:57taking your ideas You know, like I said,33:59taking your ideas and taking them to the34:03next level, right? So, cultural cultural34:07ideas, there's cultures all over the34:09world that you can become inspired by.34:11When you start to incorporate culture34:13into your work, it grabs people's34:16attention. You know, it's part of our34:18DNA. So, I'm not saying you have to look34:20at all this stuff, but there's these34:22wonderful choices out there. You know,34:24when I was working, I worked for Disney,34:26so I worked on about 10 uh Disney films34:29as a concept designer. And you know,34:32this is the type of stuff we would live34:33and breathe every day is looking at34:36different art to be inspired by. Look at34:38this. This is Picasso's cubism, you34:41know, taking things uh that we normally34:44see in one way and twisting it almost34:47like turning it into a looking through a34:49broken mirror, you know. So he was doing34:52things uh in the kind of like expanding34:56the mind of artists back then just as we34:59are expanding the minds of artists now35:02technically you know so here's one of my35:05favorite artists uh Beckshinsky and his35:08stuff is just insane I mean it's very35:10dark and scary but it's um it's35:13incredibly inventive. It's incredibly35:15inventive. So what I would say for any35:18project that I do is to first start to35:23um gather ideas, you know, gather ideas,35:27get a whole bunch of them, you know, and35:29then what happens is you start it starts35:31swirling around in your head and35:34hopefully in the middle of the night35:36you'll wake up with the idea. But the35:38first part is just kind of going35:41through, you know, this, that, and the35:44other and saying, well, what type of art35:45am I do I respond to? Do I like classic35:48art? Do I like more abstract art? Do I35:51like animation,35:53uh, comic books, movies, you know, and35:56then you think to yourself, well, how35:57could I do something that I like related36:00to that movie, but in my own way? you36:04know,36:06African art. There's just so so much out36:08there, you know, so much out there that36:10you can be um inspired by.36:15And I chose chose this, which is36:18Pinterest,36:20which I can go to my website, my uh36:24let's see Firefox here.36:28Pinterest.36:31Now, you don't necessarily have to have36:32Pinterest, but something like this, you36:34know. So, this is my Pinterest board36:36just full of ideas, you know. I start36:40clicking through this stuff and I get so36:42fired up. I just want to make something,36:44you know. I have one uh folder just on36:48Kit Bash.36:50People clicking or people um gluing toys36:54together. Now, you may look at this and36:57say, "Gh, I don't like this."36:59You don't have to like this, but the37:00idea38:34minutes ago, you know. So, Kim Jongi,38:37the great Kim Jongi, okay? Right.38:41um38:43he you know it's just it's just a38:44plethora of ideas out there that we can38:47use to be inspired by you know and you38:50can take these things and build38:53portfolios like I said I'm39:27this using these images as inspiration,39:30your mind starts twisting and turning,39:32you know. So, um, so yeah, I'm I'm very39:37very very excited about about this39:40contest and about being a judge and39:43being able to look at the work and, you39:45know, uh, and pick amazing things, but39:48also just to see what what's going on,39:50you know, what's going on with people39:52who say, "I'm going to try something."39:54Imagine taking a picture of yourself39:57next to your scooter or your motorcycle39:59and turning yourself into some sci-fi40:02character. You know, I was walking40:04around when I was visiting in China this40:07summer and just seeing all the different40:09uh scooters and and all that type of40:12stuff, the things that people40:46to Photoshop40:48and you draw on top of it and you know40:50you're in other words you're pingponging40:52back and forth with all these ideas.40:54Okay. So anyway um this is a great40:58opportunity if you if you apply to this41:01uh contest.41:04It's a it's a motivation to do something41:06really cool whether you win or you don't41:09win. As long as you apply you win. And41:11I'm try trying to sell the contest, but41:13I'm trying to sell the idea of just41:15doing things. You know what I'm saying?41:18Just doing things. Okay.41:21Um, so let me stop here. Here, I'll go41:24back to42:08It's some very very interesting work you42:10know we all I get think I think the idea42:12we all want to I think be different you42:15know what I'm saying um so this this is42:18an idea you know this is a homework42:20assignment I can give to all of you make42:22an influence map you know so you can42:25start see here's David Lynch up here and42:27Francis Copala Egon Sheileely, Picasso,42:31heavy metal magazine, you know, all this42:34army tanks, you know, now this is42:37definitely going to be a you're going to42:39have a different influence map than I42:40have. Of course, this is an image of me42:44when I was two and I remember42:49uh being fascinated by this creature42:52that I was looking at. I remember this42:53this moment as if it was yesterday and I42:57was just fascinated by creatures and42:59that fascination has never left me. So43:03embracing your childhood43:06um inspirations and letting it show up43:09in your adult life is incredibly43:11powerful. Here's me 500 years later43:16still doing the same darn thing, you43:19know.44:04video that uh Steve Jobs put together44:08for Apple. So, I'm going to play this44:10and then that'll be uh the wrap on my44:14presentation.44:17Here's44:20to the crazy ones,44:22>> the misfits, the rebels,44:26the troublemakers,44:32things differently.44:34They're not fun.44:40You can quote them, disagree with them,44:43glorify or vilify them. about the only44:46thing you can't do is ignore them44:50because they change things. They push44:53the human race forward.44:56And while some may see them as the crazy44:58ones, we see genius45:03as the people who are crazy enough to45:05think they can change the world.45:35is a YouTube channel I just started like45:38yesterday. So it's going to be the45:40making of45:47more importantly I want to talk about45:49tripo. Okay. So, let me um45:54quit out of here45:57and then45:59great. So,46:04uh let's see.46:13Yeah.46:18close your stream and uh46:21>> Oh yeah, sorry. Let me stop streaming.46:24>> Okay,46:27>> give me a second here. Okay, good. Stop46:30streaming.46:32>> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Thank you,46:35Professor John.46:38And let me share46:43John. Can anyone see the shared screen46:46of me?46:55Okay, that's really fascinating. That46:58brings me back to the campus of the uh47:01UC Irvine because um and I will got my47:04homework to do influence map. Yeah.47:07Thank you, Professor Jun. Thank you47:09again for sharing your perspectives with47:11us and for joining triple thumb and uh47:15Okay, everyone. Now let we let us to uh47:20look closer at how the competition47:22works. That's very important. You may47:25participate individually or in a team of47:28top to three people. Every project must47:32select one direction track. In addition,47:35a project may enter up to three optional47:38tool tracks. So the basic structure is47:41one team, one main creative direction47:44and up to three partner to47:46opportunities. Enter two track is47:49optional.47:56Your submission, your core submission47:59must include a complete and a playable48:02demo, a screen recorded walkthrough, a48:06visual access board. The playboard demo48:08should allow the judges to experience48:10the project and its intended form. And48:13the screen recorded walkthrough should48:16clearly demonstrate how the project48:17works especially if uh special like48:22hardware or installing steps or48:25interaction methods that required48:28and your visual assets board should48:30communicate the project visual direction48:32and uh develop development process.48:36Please make it easy for the judges to48:38understand your work. Please48:42for the judge criteria48:47projects will evaluated according to the48:49official judging criteria show here in48:52my screen. There's a uh direction track48:56or the tour track. As you develop your48:58entry, keep four board question in mind.49:01First, is the core idea clear and49:03original? Second, does the chosen tag49:07generally support the idea? Third, in49:10the experience thoughtfully designed and49:13effectively exe executed49:17and the most and then finally does the49:20project leave a memorable impression.49:26The most technically complicated project49:29is not automatically the strongest the49:32project. Scoop your idea realistically.49:35A smaller, complete and carefully49:38designed experience may communicate much49:40more effectively than a very ambitious49:43project that the judges cannot fully49:46experienced.49:54And now about the price pool. I think49:56that's the most important one.50:02the price pool. It returns to a section50:05that I suspect some of you have been50:09like patiently wait for. So the total50:11price is valued at $8,00050:15US. That's a huge amount, right?50:25Nobody is exciting about this price50:28pool. I don't see you guys in the50:30chatting box.50:39We are okay. Okay.50:42So, the prize structure includes50:44globally online awards as well as awards50:48connect with the eligible tracks and the50:49regional activities. Please refer to the50:52official tripbosum website and notion50:54pages for us uh for complete the prize50:57breakdown. the eligible conditions and51:00the latest details. We will do updates51:03as well. And remember that entering an51:06optional tool track requires meaningful51:08use that partners tech. Choose tools51:11that strengthen your project rather than51:14adding tools simply to increase the51:15number of logos in your submission.51:17Please.51:19Okay.51:22Today I'm I'm not the only one for51:25talking because we have four partners51:27for creative toolkits. We got triple,51:31pico, jupiter and heyge gears.51:35And uh the four presentations takes us51:38through the very interesting creative51:39journey from generating 3D connect with51:43AI to placing it inside an immersive XR51:47experience51:49to bringing digital content into51:51physical space through spatial displays51:54and finally to turning digital ideas51:57into physical objects through 3D52:00printing.52:01So relevant links, tutorials and the52:04resources will be shared in the chat52:06whenever a available. And let's begin52:09with triple. Our first partner52:11presentation comes from Triple.52:17Tripple helps creators transform texts52:20and images into professional quality 3D52:23models. I think I think every audience52:26has used the triple and making it52:29possible to move like quickly from52:30additional ideas to assets can be used52:33in games.53:42ones and how to move fast. Okay, so let53:47me share my screen here. Oops, it seems53:51that I cannot share my screen.53:54Never mind. Um you can all see the you53:57can all see the um triple studio and54:01what I what I am talking about in the54:04starter kit okay in the notion. All54:06right so uh let me just walk you through54:10by audio. Okay. What is triple studio? A54:13lot of you may have know that triple is54:16a 3D model generator but it's not all54:20that. It's a full workspace. Okay. You54:22can go from a raw idea all the way to an54:25export ready engine ready 3D asset. Let54:29me show you. Oh, I cannot show you. Let54:31me walk you through this. Okay. So,54:33before you even generate a 3D model,54:36>> try you can try the uh54:38>> Oh, yeah. Yeah, I can try it now.54:40>> Hold on.54:41>> Okay. Um, I might need to54:45I might need to54:49restart54:57and please share the Chrome tab or the54:59window. No, the entire screen, please.55:06Oh, where is Zoe?55:11She's leaving for like preparations55:14maybe.55:18Zoe, please show the request to speak.55:29Is it here?55:31Network issue.55:34Okay.55:35>> Okay, I'm back. We'll come back to55:38>> Thank you. Thank you.55:40>> Maybe you can try to share your screen.55:42>> Yes. Can you guys see my screen?55:45>> Okay, we got it.55:47>> Okay, cool. Okay, so let me walk you55:50through. Um, this is the official55:53website of Triple AI. All right, so55:56let's go inside Triple Studio first. So56:00what I talked about about Triple Studio56:02is that we are a full workspace. Uh I'm56:05going to start with generate image. So56:08you've got a pre-image from the56:10Pinterest Pinterest board that John just56:14shared, right? But it's not 3D ready56:17yet. All right. So what we have got here56:20in triple studio is we are we have a lot56:22of like 3D image uh 3D ready image56:25templates.56:27So uh such as character extraction, head56:29extraction like to these are all tuned56:33specially tuned for 3D assets and we've56:37got a lot of like image generation56:39models and we are bringing in GPD image56:422.5 soon like maybe next week. So you56:45will be able to use that. Okay. And56:49these are for image generation. After56:52you've generated an image you can see my56:54board here. Um this is a cutout image56:58from this one single image. So uh say if57:02you have one image with a bunch of like57:04objects in it like characters, weapons,57:07promps, you can directly click here. Let57:11me show you how57:14you can directly click here. Oh, let me57:17um this is the cutouts feature. So it57:20cuts out all the objects in one image57:24into different like transparent PGs and57:27you can directly send them to 3D57:30generation with batch to 3D and we also57:34have this multiv- view thing. So if you57:38have one image and you can directly57:41generate multiv- view image like front,57:45back, left, right and move it through57:48multiv- view to 3D with our most um up57:52to-date 3D models like high detail model57:55and smart mesh. So let's move on to the58:00two models.58:02Let's say um let let me just introduce58:06what is HD model and what is smart mesh.58:09Okay. So for HD model it stands out for58:13H series model. This is high fidelity58:16model up to 2 million polygons. You can58:19see here 2 million polygons.58:21And it's best for 3D printing, visual58:24arts, hero assets, basically everything58:27where you want maximum detail. And you58:30can also select texture quality for 8K.58:33And we have uh we also have this PBR58:36setting and remove lighting setting. So58:39this remove lighting is a very new58:41feature just uh um was just online like58:46ne this week this week right. So uh if58:50you have removed lighting on it means58:52that the model will reduce the impact of58:56the environmental lighting uh of your58:58reference image. So this asset this 3D59:01asset you created will be more suitable59:04across different things. But if you59:07leave it off, it will be um it will rem59:12um keep your lighting and shadows of the59:17reference image. So you will have a more59:20artistic, more styled, more hand painted59:23style of the 3D asset. All right. So for59:27smart mesh, this is a very very very new59:31model. We have just updated it to P 2.0.59:36L and it's still a preview version with59:39our official version coming next week.59:41It will be able for you to edit a single59:47part of the generated asset. So you59:50don't have to regenerate it all over59:52again. So for smart mesh this is a low59:56to middle topology with 500 to 50k poly1:00:02counts with triangle1:00:05and it can produce 500 to 25,0001:00:10poly counts with quants. So this is not1:00:14just quan and triangle or how many1:00:17phases we can do. It's more about clean1:00:20topology, clean native quant topology.1:00:23So after you generate 3D assets with1:00:27smart mesh, you don't have to retop1:00:29again, right? If you choose HD model,1:00:32you'll have to retop it again because1:00:34the polygons is too high. All right? So1:00:38for gaming, for uh web app, for AR, VR,1:00:42XR, any interactive experience1:00:44pipelines, you better choose Smart Mesh,1:00:48okay? It's very very cool. Just try it.1:00:52And everyone got like two trials. And I1:00:54do believe that for triple thumb1:00:57players, we do have some like extra1:01:00benefits for this. Okay. And it's very1:01:03fast. It's like 30 seconds fast.1:01:07Okay. So, uh as I just mentioned, if you1:01:10are doing like a game, web app, XR, go1:01:14with smart mesh. And if you're doing 3D1:01:16printing or you need that hero shot,1:01:19visual quality, HD model is just your1:01:22pick. Okay.1:01:24So, uh how do you actually generate? We1:01:27have different we have four options.1:01:30Image to model. This means you can input1:01:33one single image like this one. Let me1:01:35show you. Um, okay. You can see here1:01:39this is what I input uh my input image1:01:43and it generates a 3D assets and you can1:01:47also input a multiv- view images with1:01:49front, back, left, right. So our1:01:52generator will understand your model1:01:55more and also batch images up to 10. So1:01:58you can generate up to 10 assets all at1:02:02once which is very efficiency. And also1:02:05we have this prompt text prompts im uh1:02:09text prompt to 3D1:02:11and um just choose whatever suits you1:02:15best. Okay. And um we are coming to1:02:20postprocessing. So after the 3D asset is1:02:25generated like for example it generates1:02:27a 3D asset from HD model you need to1:02:30retop it we have this retop and it will1:02:34soon be up to updated with smart mesh1:02:37P1. A lot of you may know that. Okay. So1:02:41uh with this rettopology you can retop1:02:44your 3D assets and move it directly into1:02:48your production pipeline. It's very1:02:50fast. And we also have this texture1:02:54upgrade. And you have remove lighting1:02:57option. You have texture resolution. And1:03:00we also have multi- view and text for1:03:03you to decide what kind of texture your1:03:063D model would have.1:03:09And we also have PBR, upscale, edit. So1:03:14even if you have a 3D asset that is1:03:17already textured, you can edit again,1:03:20you can upscale it again. It's very1:03:22efficient.1:03:24And we move to rig and animation. This1:03:28feature will also be soon updated next1:03:32week. Exciting. And for the uh new1:03:37rigging, we would um we would update the1:03:41rigging algorithm for humanoid assets.1:03:45And with the new version, you can also1:03:50um input text prompt to animate your 3D1:03:55asset. So it's not um it's not com like1:04:00limited within the animation1:04:04within the animation we provide. You can1:04:06just type it in and describe what your1:04:103D asset what your character should1:04:12animate and it's there. Okay. And that's1:04:18what I'm talking about about1:04:20postprocessing.1:04:21And we move on to export. You can choose1:04:25to export one 3D asset directly with so1:04:30many formats USD, FBS, OBJ, SDL, GB,1:04:363MF. And you can also choose to send the1:04:413D asset directly into your 3D tool with1:04:45our DCC bridge. We have so many GCC1:04:48bridges that can be useful for your1:04:52production pipeline.1:04:55Okay. So no exporting, no importing from1:04:57all this. No file management. It's very1:04:59simple.1:05:02And now um I just want to give you uh1:05:06some quick recipes based on what you're1:05:09actually building. So if you are1:05:11building a game, go with smart mesh uh1:05:15texture upgrade for PBR rig and animate.1:05:19If you have character export FBX GB or1:05:22just use the DTC bridge for characters1:05:26try to pose template first. For batch1:05:31scene assets, try assets. Let me see1:05:34asset extraction templates then cut out1:05:37then batch to 3D. You have all a full a1:05:41full thing in minutes like I'm talking1:05:43about in minutes in 10 minutes in 201:05:45minutes. If you are building a web or XR1:05:48experience smart mesh again it's1:05:51lightweight and it loads very fast.1:05:54export gov drop it into 3GS or whatever1:05:58your stack is. If you're doing 3D1:06:01printing, start with our image template1:06:04with 3D print ready images and then1:06:07generate with our HD model1:06:10um1:06:13ultra mesh quality for max detail and1:06:17use our segmentation to split it into1:06:20printed parts1:06:22and everything. I just um covered here1:06:26is uh in the starter kit we put together1:06:30for you. It's linked on the event page.1:06:33You'll find it. Um you'll find the full1:06:36feature table, workflow guide,1:06:38templates, um tutorial videos for each1:06:41project type, real model examples. You1:06:44can click and rotate in 3D. Okay, let me1:06:46show you some models.1:06:48Um in the homepage, let's scroll down.1:06:52There are so many models, 3D models for1:06:54you to like take a look, take as1:06:58reference. Uh maybe they can inspire1:07:01you. You can see how uh the others are1:07:04doing theirs 3D models. So um yeah, you1:07:09can see you can see the textures, you1:07:12can see the mesh.1:07:16Yes. Okay. So um as I just mentioned we1:07:21will have uh big updates next week. Our1:07:25big updates next week would have P21:07:29official where there is mesh edited1:07:32option. We will have smart UV we will1:07:36have more rigging presets. We will have1:07:38text to motion and generally a much1:07:42smoother game pipeline. So let's stay1:07:46tuned. All right. So that's the toolkit1:07:49here. That's the walk through here for1:07:52triple studio. And if you remember1:07:54nothing else from this talk, just1:07:56remember the fastest path from zero to a1:08:003D asset in your project is image smart1:08:03mesh and export. Get that first model1:08:07into your project. Then go deeper. You1:08:09can add texture. You can rig it. You can1:08:11animate it. You can split it. but get1:08:14something in fast and iterate based on1:08:18that. Okay, that's basically everything1:08:22I want to share with you in this1:08:24session.1:08:27Move on to Johnny.1:08:41Thank you. Thank you everyone.1:09:23Hello.1:09:37You hear me?1:09:39Okay. Okay, cool.1:09:44So I I think I can start my part1:09:47directly right Johnny1:09:55I can't hear you Johnny but should be1:09:57okay if you guys can hear me. So1:10:01introduce myself first Rocky and I'm the1:10:04head of enterprise business and also the1:10:07developer platform. So my part will more1:10:10introduce the developer guide to you.1:10:13Assume you are going to use the the the1:10:16programming to call the API to develop1:10:19the no method game or web web app or you1:10:23are going to use the AI agent for your1:10:26development. I think thanks to Zoe's1:10:30introduction in my document, I will1:10:33spend more time to introduce what you1:10:36should be uh prepare for this develop1:10:39guide and also what is the right way to1:10:42use the triple API. So I think before1:10:47you start this is very important you1:10:49have to log to the1:10:53official platform website developers.1:10:563d.ai AI to register your account first1:11:01and from there you can log to the1:11:04website to open the API case management1:11:07page. This is very important. Create a1:11:10new key get it ready for your1:11:12development and this key will only show1:11:15once. So copy it at uh as soon as1:11:19possible once you got it and store it in1:11:21a secure place. So our suggestion is to1:11:26export this API key to your environment.1:11:29So don't put in the your your code1:11:33directly.1:11:34After this you are going to get your1:11:37credits for the development. So we1:11:39already announced the the steps and also1:11:42the web page for you to get the credits.1:11:45Don't forget don't forget to get these1:11:47credits first. Okay?1:11:51And also if you want to check your1:11:53balance either you log to the website to1:11:56check the balance in in our official1:11:59platform or you can also call the1:12:01endpoint account balance to view in the1:12:05real time or your balance. Okay.1:12:10So there is the security note that your1:12:13API key is not your account pass1:12:15password. So never commit it to your1:12:18GitHub repository or explode to the1:12:22front code. We will suggest you to use1:12:25the backend service proxy to call the1:12:28API.1:12:30Don't don't use the front end C code API1:12:33directly. This will be banned from the1:12:36our service side. Okay, this is quite1:12:39important step before you you are going1:12:42to start the develop development call1:12:44API. So repeat again to don't forget to1:12:48register account first and get the API1:12:50key save the API key to your local1:12:54environment get the credits according to1:12:57the announcement in our discord channels1:13:00so the second part and the third part I1:13:04think I won't take too much time to to1:13:07introduce anymore because I believe Zoe1:13:10right now already introduced a lot of1:13:12the features different models1:13:14capabilities is already. So most of the1:13:19models and capabilities in our triple1:13:22studio actually available in our triple1:13:26develop developer platform. Okay.1:13:30So I will just escape this part1:13:34and some tips for the the the hexone1:13:37because the timeline is very limited. So1:13:41for most of the situation if you are1:13:43going to develop some games or web app1:13:48for the the the1:13:50web view or1:13:53rendering. So we will recommend you go1:13:56with the P20 preview first and last you1:14:00are going to develop some application1:14:02that for example for 3D printing then1:14:06you you you can go with the H series 3.11:14:09version to generate more details models.1:14:14Okay.1:14:17So let's go to the fourth part.1:14:21Okay. So choose the right way to use the1:14:23triple API. So today we actually provide1:14:27the triple CI. So most of the developers1:14:31today use the agent develop uh the agent1:14:34tools to develop the applications such1:14:37as the codeex or1:14:40clock code or even the cursor. So one1:14:44way we will suggest that you just send1:14:48the prompt to set up the triple C for1:14:52for your development environment. So the1:14:56agent tools like the codeex or cursor1:14:58with they will use this triple 3D codeex1:15:02plugin or they will search the triple C1:15:05to install it automatically or if you1:15:09want you can install the triple CRI by1:15:12yourself. So follow the follow the1:15:15command here.1:15:17I won't introduce the more details. This1:15:20document will be shared later in the1:15:22discord channel. Okay. So, make sure all1:15:25the environment get ready before you1:15:28install the triple CRI.1:15:32Okay. So, we we prepare this more1:15:35details in this document easy for you to1:15:37follow the the instruction step by step.1:15:41Okay. So the one thing to highlight once1:15:44you decide to use the triple CLI so it1:15:48will redirect to the web page ask for1:15:52your authorization. So you can just1:15:55click authorize then you will get the1:15:58authorization ready and you can use it1:15:59in the agent tools. Okay.1:16:04Okay. This is the the quick start way1:16:07for you to use the triple API. But if1:16:10you are more like you want to control1:16:13the the API core by yourself, we do1:16:16provide the standard API integration.1:16:19So here is some information we1:16:21summarized in the document for sure. You1:16:24can also go to our1:16:26official platform website to get more1:16:29details documentation. So always1:16:32remember the base URL, remember the1:16:34authentication authorization1:16:37and if you are using the JavaScript or1:16:41TypeScript or Rust, you can download the1:16:44official SDKs from our platform1:16:48to make your development more easier.1:16:50Okay, some of the core API endpoints we1:16:55listed here. All of these endpoints1:16:57actually available in our platform1:16:59documentation. But here we list here1:17:02easy for you to do a quick check okay1:17:05from how how you upload the image and1:17:09which endpoint call for you to generate1:17:12a model the multi view all the end1:17:15points available here and by the way1:17:18also we integrate the GPT image 2 and1:17:22also nanobalana1:17:24in our API platform for you to call for1:17:27the workflow.1:17:30Okay. Normally the standard core flow1:17:32you will repeat again you need to you1:17:35will need to apply for API key first1:17:37upload some assets for example the1:17:41reference images1:17:42and you will get a file token from the1:17:46platform to create the task post the end1:17:50the right end point with the parameters1:17:54for example the different model1:17:56parameters or uh different kind of1:17:58texture or PBR are then you can choose1:18:02to pull to get the taska task status or1:18:06you can subscribe to the web hook to get1:18:08the task status. Once the task finish it1:18:14you can download the model the file URL1:18:17from the response and download it. Okay,1:18:20here we have the the simple introduction1:18:24to1:18:26get how you set up the web hooks.1:18:30Some of the task status values. So cute1:18:34means that your task has been submitted1:18:37and waited waiting for the next1:18:40procedure. Running means that task1:18:43already been processing. So in the1:18:46process success failed or cancelled1:18:48means the task finish it with the status1:18:51of status of success or failed or the1:18:55task has been cancelled.1:18:58Okay, here we also show some code1:19:01example1:19:03and some important notes that download1:19:06the links in the five minutes because1:19:10the respon the result URL in the1:19:13response valid only for five minutes. So1:19:18download them and save them1:19:21immediately once the task finishing.1:19:24And also for the polling interval we1:19:28will suggest that uh one to two seconds.1:19:33So don't1:19:35over overload the frequent requests to1:19:39check the task status. We will more1:19:42suggest you to use the web hooks1:19:44callbacks for the task status check.1:19:47Okay,1:19:50here we have a combined workflows for1:19:52your reference because uh the example is1:19:56to leverage the language model once the1:20:00user enter language description for1:20:03example a cute little girl in a red1:20:05dress. So the language model is write it1:20:08into a more professional prompts to1:20:11generate the image generation and red1:20:15get it ready for the 3D generation. So1:20:19call the nano balana or GPT1:20:22or the sim also available in our API1:20:25platform to generate the character1:20:28concept art.1:20:30Once you get the image generated, you1:20:33can upload the image to generate the1:20:36model. If you need the texture, apply1:20:39the texture to enhance the characters1:20:43texture. And if you are going to develop1:20:46the game or some animations, you can1:20:49also apply the autorigging plus the1:20:52animation. So bring more the characters1:20:56to the live in one click and also export1:20:59a interactive GB format for you. After1:21:03that you can display the the the result1:21:06in the front end web page or some game1:21:10engine. Okay.1:21:13The fifth part some tips for the1:21:17developers. So here we list some credits1:21:23each uh each task tab will charge the1:21:27credits. So so again remember to apply1:21:31the credits for your development before1:21:33you you start your work. So1:21:38the list of the credit cost will be1:21:42available also in the platform.1:21:45Some budget example building an animate1:21:48game characters roughly will take the1:21:5375 to 110 credits per run. So1:21:59if you you want to generate save some1:22:02credits for the development you can1:22:04generate the image first. Don't1:22:07regenerate the image unless you want to1:22:09change the input. You can always1:22:13generate the model again by using the1:22:15same image. Okay. So all the correct1:22:20cost list here for your reference and1:22:22quick check.1:22:25Okay. Some recommendation for your text1:22:28deck. So up to your1:22:32preference. If you are going to use the1:22:34web apps, we normally reest1:22:37suggest that the 3DS or react some of1:22:40the library easy for you to load the1:22:43model directly and also the support for1:22:47the PBR materials and animation1:22:49playback. But if you are going to use1:22:52the API for the game development1:22:55up to your engine unity area or go do so1:22:59you can always go with the official1:23:02plugins for your reference. If you you1:23:06decide to go with the agent development1:23:09just like right recently a lot of the1:23:12developers they use the the GPD Astra1:23:15plus our API.1:23:17So you can always go with the agent1:23:20tools plus the triple MCP or this is1:23:23should be CLI1:23:25to generate the 3D models. Okay. And for1:23:29the back end service up to your your1:23:32preference you can choose the python or1:23:34even express or some other open source1:23:39JS engine like the hono or others to1:23:43wrap the triple API key manage keys and1:23:47get the task cues1:23:49for mobile and ARVR is all subject to1:23:53what kind of the technology stack you1:23:55get used to1:23:57and some of the prong or assess tips for1:24:00the 3D generation. So make sure the1:24:03image input is very important for the1:24:06model generation.1:24:08So make sure the image you used for the1:24:10API core always come with the single1:24:14subject with the natural pose or clean1:24:17background and the resolution. We will1:24:20recommend the this one and even hair for1:24:23more clear details.1:24:26So if you want to define the the multi1:24:29view of the models, you can always1:24:32choose the front, back, left, right, the1:24:35multi- view1:24:37images to generate a model.1:24:41So for text prong, you can always go1:24:44with some stale keywords1:24:47to generate actually the text prong will1:24:50all also used to generate the image1:24:52first. So we will always suggest you go1:24:55with the image input follow the tips1:24:57here1:25:00and uh some performance optimization1:25:02tips I won't go through one by one. So1:25:06I will share some inspiration gallery1:25:09here. So here is some very good example1:25:12that the developers using the triple API1:25:16to generate the showcase. So we hope1:25:19that we can see more and more1:25:22good case like this so to be listed in1:25:25our official platform.1:25:28One more important thing for the1:25:30technical support once you1:25:34face some technical issues when you1:25:36develop based on the API do remember to1:25:40share the follow following information1:25:42with us so easy for us to give the1:25:45faster support. The first thing will be1:25:48your API account which is you when you1:25:51register in our platform normally is1:25:54your email address. The second thing is1:25:57always record and printing out your task1:26:00ID when you are developing the the1:26:03application. The third thing will be the1:26:06description and short screenshot easy1:26:09for us to1:26:11understand what happened. So this three1:26:14things is very important for us to debug1:26:16and provide the technical support1:26:19and the the last part will be the1:26:22community and support. So developer1:26:26platform we actually have the the1:26:28official website. You can always go to1:26:31the website or if you like you can read1:26:34this document. We will share this whole1:26:36document in the discord channel later1:26:39and go with the API documentation if you1:26:42want to get the full API reference to1:26:45read more quick start and some best1:26:48practices and we also set up the the1:26:52dedicated triple developers discord. So1:26:55after this section we will uh provide1:26:58the long-term tech support in this1:27:00channel.1:27:02Okay. So that's all from my part. So1:27:06hope you can generate a more fantastic1:27:08application based on our API. Thanks,1:27:12Johnny.1:28:11Hello. Hello. I guess um it's my turn1:28:14right now.1:28:16Um okay. Uh so1:28:19um yeah, let me share screen.1:28:31All right. Uh, can you guys see my1:28:34screen?1:28:37If not, I'm basically presenting some uh1:28:40web pages. So, I can uh type the URL in1:28:44the chat so you guys see it. Uh, or you1:28:47can switch to the V uh web version of1:28:51Discord. So, yeah, let's get started.1:28:54So, my name is uh and I'm a product1:28:57manager at Pico. Uh, Pico is a uh1:29:02company that bu we are building XR1:29:04headsets and then the software platforms1:29:07for creating these immersive1:29:09experiences. We were acquired by uh the1:29:12parent company of Tik Tok which is1:29:14Bidance uh five years ago and we've been1:29:18producing over um over the past decade1:29:22uh 10 headsets and five OS major1:29:25upgrades1:29:26and today um we are here to work with uh1:29:31Triple uh to collaborate because we1:29:34think the uh as Zoe mentioned uh the 3D1:29:39files you generate uh it's you can view1:29:43it from multiple perspective and the1:29:45best thing is you can uh view it1:29:46immersively in our XR headsets. So uh we1:29:52announced project swan which is our next1:29:54generation flagship device early this1:29:57year and it's going to launch globally1:30:00later uh in 2026.1:30:03So you can watch the full spatial1:30:05content. So in uh Nashure uh it uses1:30:09some advanced um chips. Uh it has uh1:30:13this dual chip design and it really uh1:30:16drive the performance the visual quality1:30:19to dual eye 4K with this uh new micro1:30:22OLED display. So you have more pixels1:30:25and it's really good for view uh the the1:30:27high quality models that you you1:30:30generate with triple.1:30:32And we also engineered a new uh Pico OS1:30:36that solves the problem of multitasking.1:30:38And yes, you can place multiple uh 3D1:30:42and 2D uh windows and apps or together1:30:46in the same space. So your space turns1:30:49into a infinite canvas where you can uh1:30:52place like stories or apps together. Uh1:30:56this is all done by our rendering engine1:30:58which kind of composes the whole uh1:31:01scene. Um we with uh this shared1:31:04rendering pipeline. So we we control1:31:08every pixels on screen. Uh instead of1:31:10each app rendering itself, we kind of1:31:12have like a uh full composition layer to1:31:15handle the rendering uh uniformly. So1:31:19you can build experiences like uh you1:31:21have a tabletop game on the table, you1:31:24have a window open uh a browser in the1:31:27far and then you have a friends drawing1:31:29as avatars.1:31:31And then we also produce some design1:31:34language for spatial computing making1:31:36the UI feel uh uh what we call the1:31:40aesthetics car crystal. They're more1:31:43vibrant and they have this transparent1:31:46uh glass UI effect for for your apps.1:31:50And we support uh controllers for1:31:54immersive gaming. We support uh uh1:31:57motion trackers you want to uh dance1:32:00around. And then we support uh also uh1:32:03you know hand tracking and different1:32:06ways to to interact. And we also support1:32:09different types of applications from1:32:11like native Android app to web to GAN.1:32:14And now um from here I want to uh1:32:17introduce you to our new newly launched1:32:20um CRI uh agent based uh tool to uh to1:32:26to to walk you through how easily it1:32:28could be um to develop your um uh uh1:32:34apps on on Pico. And uh just let you1:32:38know like this could be really really1:32:40hard like 5 years ago. Um cuz I spent my1:32:44career most doing developer tools for XR1:32:47and then developing XR was really really1:32:49hard because you know uh you have to1:32:52understand like the 3D uh six do you1:32:55have to learn a game engine uh but right1:32:58now I think a lot of uh participants1:33:01um1:33:03yes you can you can develop apps on pico1:33:05I'm going to show you how to do that uh1:33:07without a pico device. Um so uh actually1:33:12uh I have developed something on this1:33:14emulator. Um1:33:18this is just a demo of a chess app. So1:33:21with triple I can even generate1:33:23different types of the chase pieces. I1:33:25know like triple is very good at1:33:27generating like board game tokens and1:33:29even the whole environment. Um so you1:33:33can just use natural language in cloud1:33:36code or codeex to say hey uh install the1:33:39pico uh copy this command to your cloud1:33:42code and let it install the command line1:33:45interface or CI for you and then it's1:33:47going to install all the Pico SDKs. Uh1:33:50you don't need to download Android1:33:52Studio. Um if you want to build a1:33:55spatial app you can just use this or if1:33:58you we also support Unity. um if you1:34:02want to get into those immersive apps.1:34:05So here is a uh this chess app that I uh1:34:09uh built just in one night with the uh1:34:13our uh command line tools that you you1:34:17can also use it. So it's fully1:34:18interactive. You can you can actually uh1:34:21play the chess yourself. And then I want1:34:24to share um some of the tips and tricks1:34:29uh to facilitate your development. So1:34:31you can save some times, save some1:34:33tokens as well. Um the the the process I1:34:36did this is I first design a the product1:34:40request uh product requirement dock and1:34:42I also uh did a UI uh white model first1:34:47in in Figma. So I let UI uh I let the um1:34:51cloud code to generate these uh white1:34:54models and as long as I feel the UI is1:34:58right uh I start uh let the clock code1:35:02to build the actual chess app in the the1:35:05emulator and I show it in emulator and I1:35:07kind of iterate and then send a1:35:09screenshot and then uh iterate the UI1:35:12say oh I I kind of wanted the UI to be1:35:14on the top for the settings. So it does1:35:17the iteration and finally it only takes1:35:20like two or three iterations um that I1:35:22was able to produce this uh chess app.1:35:25So um I can show you another app that's1:35:28fully immersive that I built with the1:35:31unity uh SDK.1:35:33So this is a kados uh scope that uh I1:35:38remember when I was a kid I was given a1:35:40koscope and I was really amazed by um I1:35:45by the you know the the patterns the1:35:47effects there. Uh so you can um so the1:35:51the way I divide this is first I have1:35:54the uh design files of these like1:35:56patterns they have very solid like mass1:35:59or physics behind it. Uh so I I generate1:36:03these uh first on like uh on the image1:36:07and then uh I I I guess with triple you1:36:10can generate uh 3D models uh more types1:36:14of uh any type of like your favorite1:36:17character or your favorite uh you know1:36:21uh figure status anything.1:36:24So in this mode in XR you can view them1:36:27immersively, you can view them in any1:36:30angles. So this is really uh persuasive1:36:33when it comes to storytelling. Um so1:36:38with with this I also just made it in1:36:40one day. Um I think the this the method1:36:44I really want to share with you guys is1:36:46to uh kind of have very true middle1:36:50ground for for AI. Otherwise, it's going1:36:53to be a little bit uncontrollable. Um,1:36:56some people only type, "Hey, give me1:36:58this chase app without further1:37:00describing what it is." Uh, but instead,1:37:02I figured that if you just draw these1:37:05like images and the UIUX that you feel,1:37:08oh yeah, this is the right user pass1:37:10flow and it's going to save you a lot of1:37:12time and uh help you get into the uh1:37:16more controllable result in in in a1:37:19shorter shorter time.1:37:22So yeah, we just launched this command1:37:25line uh 0.51:37:27and um we we look forward to seeing all1:37:31the amazing apps you can uh you build1:37:33with with Pico and and Triple and um1:37:37also uh if you made to the demo day uh1:37:41in San Francisco uh we we can invite you1:37:44to see the device and then test it on1:37:48the device because the device hasn't1:37:49been launched yet. Uh but um we have1:37:53developer programs as well to help you1:37:56not just for this hackathon. We also1:37:59want to support you all the way if1:38:01you're interested in publishing to our1:38:03store and uh make your artwork um uh1:38:07more exposed to a a broader audience.1:38:11Yeah. Uh thank you. I'm going to leave1:38:14the1:38:16um no it's not uh compatible with older1:38:19device. uh this is the the new CLI way1:38:22to do things and then the emulator are1:38:25for mostly the the upcoming device.1:38:29So yeah, if you only remember one thing,1:38:32this is one command line. You just copy1:38:34it, say, hey, install this for me and1:38:36then you're going to work through the1:38:38options. You're going to click the user1:38:40guide which is here uh that it details1:38:44all the uh uh command line interfaces1:38:47options. Again, if you want to make like1:38:50a Android native app, choose the spatial1:38:52SDK. If you want to make games, choose1:38:55the Unity SDK.1:38:58Yes, that concludes my presentation.1:39:01Thank you. And here's my my email in the1:39:05chat. Um, feel free to reach out for any1:39:08questions.1:39:36Hello. Hello.1:39:39I think before I start because I I think1:39:42Jupiter SR is a very new products and1:39:45also concept. So I will quickly show a1:39:50uh video. Can everybody see my screen?1:39:56Okay.1:40:00Uh, wait. How do I share with my uh,1:40:07one second?1:40:20Heat.1:40:42Heat.1:40:46Heat. Heat.1:41:22Hey, it's okay.1:41:25Just take a deep breath. Welcome to1:41:29Jupiter SR.1:41:31From from here, you can be1:41:34ever.1:41:58Let's go.1:42:04Welcome to Jupyter SR.1:42:07>> We're building the infrastructure of1:42:09spatial reality. Bringing digital1:42:11content to the real world in a way that1:42:14feels natural. Pixley SR frame. Your1:42:16memories now with real volume and depth.1:42:19Optical SR frame. Digital art that lives1:42:22beyond the frame. OLED SR display. A1:42:26deep deep vivid spatial window. MiniLEDD1:42:28SR display. Seamless tiling, infinite1:42:31scale. Flagship SR pad. 3D avatar meets1:42:35next level spatial interaction.1:42:3865 in LCD SR display. Ultra clear SR1:42:42imagery with a presence you can feel.1:42:46Jupiter SR's proprietary nanocale1:42:48lenticular lens array precisely steers1:42:50and converges light into your eyes for a1:42:53clear, stable, naturally spatial1:42:55experience. Our proprietary 2D to 3D1:42:59conversion engine turns flat images into1:43:01spatial content. 2D video now with depth1:43:04you can actually perceive. Powered by1:43:07the full stack SR technology ecosystem,1:43:09Jupiter SR works across family memories,1:43:12digital art, and entertainment,1:43:15commercial displays, cultural tourism,1:43:18education, and whatever comes next.1:43:21We're also pushing 3D Gaussian splatting1:43:23into commercial reality, reconstructing1:43:25realworld objects and environments down1:43:27to centimeter level precision. As a1:43:29council member of the UHD World1:43:31Association, we contribute to the1:43:33standards and infrastructure shaping the1:43:35next generation of immersive media. Our1:43:38mission is to make spatial reality the1:43:40default dimension for content and become1:43:43the physical interface between digital1:43:45content and human perception. Jupiter SR1:43:50made real.1:43:59>> Okay. Uh wait now I need to uh1:44:05let me switch1:44:09uh uh uh is here.1:44:13Yeah. Hi, I hope everyone get a little1:44:14bit concept uh what is actually Jupiter1:44:17SR is about. Uh my name is Wendy Wendy1:44:21want uh greeting from the Netherland by1:44:23the way. I hope there's some European uh1:44:25candidates from uh from the Europe as1:44:28well. Uh so before I show you uh Jupiter1:44:32SR I actually want to start with all of1:44:35you your creators your developers.1:44:38So if you're in this Discord today,1:44:41you're already part of the generation of1:44:43beers working with a toolkit that barely1:44:46existed in this form a few years ago. So1:44:49a 3D idea can become u an asset today1:44:54and interactive prototype can make true1:44:57tomorrow and potentially a completely1:44:59new kind of experience a few days later.1:45:02So generative 3D is accelerating1:45:05creation. XR is opening new ways to1:45:09enter digital environment. Realtime1:45:12graphics, physical computing, and new1:45:14display technology are getting much1:45:16closer together. I don't think the1:45:19spatial era is waiting for one device to1:45:21win. It's actually becoming a big1:45:24ecosystem.1:45:25And the most interesting uh decision1:45:28about1:45:30uh the ecosystem are not going to made1:45:33uh in a brand meeting. they're going to1:45:35be made by people who actually build1:45:37with it. That is why I think Jupiter SR1:45:40and all the developer community are very1:45:43aligned. Our mission is to give digital1:45:46objects and worlds a credible presence1:45:49in the physical space. Not just as1:45:51another um visual uh effect but as1:45:55something with depth and a real1:45:58relationship to the environments around1:46:00it. That is why we have this slogan made1:46:04real and that's the meaning behind it.1:46:07So uh let me show you a bit uh to oh1:46:12yes.1:46:15So yeah this is Jupiter um spatial1:46:19reality 60 viewing point no eye tracking1:46:23no headsets required. The optical1:46:25structure distribute different1:46:27perspective information across the1:46:29viewing zone. So as you move the image1:46:32change naturally with you but the part I1:46:35want to I want all the creators to1:46:37remember is not actually the number 601:46:39viewing point is that the glass is not a1:46:42boundary of the scene. Content can sit1:46:45behind the physical uh display plane or1:46:48appear in front of it. So instead of1:46:51treating the screen as a flat canvas you1:46:54can treat the screen plane as a1:46:56coordinate inside the composition. And1:46:59now the question becomes where should1:47:01all those objects actually live. So1:47:04let's move to the techy parts.1:47:08So at the base this is still an LCD1:47:11screen. Above it sits the optical lenses1:47:14structure. So the display generate1:47:16different perspective information and1:47:18the lens directs the information into1:47:20different viewing zones. Your eyes1:47:22receive slightly different perspective1:47:24and your brain reconstruct depth from1:47:26the parallax. So the complicated optics1:47:29are already handled for you. What1:47:32developer get on top is actually quite1:47:34approachable. You will see pitch and1:47:37offset which align the render views with1:47:40the physical optical uh structure. Then1:47:43inside the viewers model front and back1:47:46let you move the object relative to the1:47:48screen plane. And 3D effects uh strings1:47:51let you tune how much perceived depth1:47:54you want. So you can start with a normal1:47:573D asset, get it to uh Jupiter SR screen1:48:00and uh immediately start playing with1:48:03where it sits in the space and you will1:48:06learn pretty quickly that spatial1:48:08composition is a little like camera1:48:11work. A small shift in depth can1:48:13completely change how the object feels.1:48:15I like thinking about it as a dev's1:48:17budget. Um you have space available, use1:48:20it where the scenes uh actually benefit1:48:23from it. So the hard objects are1:48:25underneath. Uh what you get to play with1:48:28is the space. And that brings us to the1:48:31next problem. How do we get your content1:48:34there quickly?1:48:37So um I will show you uh this because1:48:41I'm actually in charge of the ecosystem.1:48:43So I work with museums and a lot of game1:48:46developer. A very you uh museum uh real1:48:49user will actually ask us a lot of1:48:52question about the asset accuracy1:48:56uh reusing existing collection and1:48:58whether deps genuinely helps people1:49:00understand the object. But this year1:49:03since we just um finished our gamescom1:49:05trip all the develops there immediately1:49:08want to know whether their character can1:49:10run on it, how quickly they can um1:49:12interact and whether it fits in their uh1:49:15pipeline.1:49:17So uh what they can make interactive for1:49:19instance so same display but different1:49:22product requirement that's why Jupiter1:49:24SR we are building all the software and1:49:27workflow around the optics and is where1:49:30triple becomes very interesting for us1:49:33generative 3D is actually making the1:49:35creation site radically faster and then1:49:40once the 3D asset exists where can it1:49:43live1:49:46uh for this hackathon uh the basic1:49:49pipeline is uh deliberately short. You1:49:53create and triple export as a uh GB uh1:49:58move the assets into Jupiter uh 3D1:50:01viewers then tune the presentation for1:50:04the SR display. I we call this a step1:50:07zero. approves the plumbing and I1:50:10actually want uh the step zero to feel1:50:13very easy because the interesting part1:50:15for hackathon should not be spending two1:50:17days trying to make a file appear on the1:50:20on the screen. The interesting part1:50:22starts actually after it appears. The1:50:25generated 3D can make you a character or1:50:28object incredibly quickly, but1:50:31generation doesn't tell you uh a1:50:34generation doesn't tell you what that1:50:36object should become. It becomes in the1:50:39game engine. Uh it becomes in uh to be1:50:42printed. It could also live in a1:50:45browser. But Jupiter so we give you1:50:47another output surface physical spatial1:50:50display. So if your project ends with uh1:50:54yeah I made something very cool in1:50:56triple and I want to put it in in in1:50:58Jupiter that pipeline works definitely1:51:01works but now the hackathon actually1:51:04just started because the real question1:51:06is what becomes possible when the1:51:08spatial display actually changed the1:51:10experience1:51:18and the creativity uh unit doesn't have1:51:21to be uh limited by only GB objects. We1:51:24also have the Jupiter world viewers. So1:51:27it supports uh comp compatible uh1:51:30gaussian splatting scenes in Ply and1:51:33Sogg format. So you can work with entire1:51:37captured or generated environment rather1:51:39than one isolated model. You can move1:51:42through the environment, change1:51:44direction and save viewpoint. And here1:51:48you start to meet some interesting1:51:50engineering choice. More views can give1:51:53you uh smoother parallax uh transitions,1:51:56but they also increase ondevice uh1:52:00rendering costs. The cursing tools1:52:02expose quality and view cons options. So1:52:06you can choose that balance for the1:52:08scene you're building. So content1:52:10complexity1:52:12uh matters, the performance also1:52:15matters. scenes design everything matter1:52:18but very unfortunately there is no1:52:21infinity GPU secretly hiding behind our1:52:25screen I checked every screen so but uh1:52:28I mean that's not a bad thing that's1:52:30actually a good thing it means that is1:52:33not a magic box is a platform you can1:52:36actually engineer for1:52:42let's uh show you the uh developer kit.1:52:46We're the only uh hackathon track for uh1:52:50this year to actually will ship you all1:52:53the hardware all the motherboard. So for1:52:56the tripathon we made this um selection1:53:00and in total all around the world uh1:53:03Jupiter SR track we will accept maximum1:53:0640 teams uh a very furnish uh enclosure1:53:10uh would give you um already too many uh1:53:13answers. So that's why the team we1:53:15decided to give you an unfinished1:53:18products. It tells you how the product1:53:20sits, how people approach it and what1:53:23kind of application probably belong1:53:25inside this. So we want to leave more of1:53:27that decision to you. So you get um all1:53:30the development modular. So the display1:53:34and the main board with the optical1:53:37assembly already handled. The system1:53:40runs on Android and the developer um1:53:43package include the Jupiter's uh1:53:46software, our SDK resources, transfer1:53:49tools and1:53:52supporting templates. Very importantly1:53:55before you receive our package, we1:53:57already send you all the file and1:53:59including the CAD. Uh so both um the1:54:02stab and rhino models of the actual1:54:05models uh are included specifically so1:54:08you can design your own enclosure1:54:10supports or exterior around the real uh1:54:13geometry. So physical design teams are1:54:16not guessing from uh photographs. You1:54:19have the geometry. You can actually1:54:22build around the hardware. There is one1:54:24hard boundary which is the screen and1:54:27the front optical assembly is stay in1:54:29stack. Uh so everything around that is1:54:32where you want to uh experiment. So yes1:54:35please hack our products just don't1:54:38perform the optical surgery please.1:54:44Uh so yeah I think the the very easiest1:54:47way to approach the challenge uh is to1:54:50think in two layers. You can work on the1:54:53physical products around the display. So1:54:55enclosure mounting uh installation1:54:59interaction or you can also work on what1:55:02happened through the display. So1:55:04software content uh a game logic uh1:55:08dynamic uh behaviors or this entire1:55:11spatial scenes you can combine them uh1:55:14but you absolutely don't have to. uh a1:55:17very great software project does not uh1:55:20become better because it's just somebody1:55:22very panically uh printed a plastic1:55:24enclosure at 4:00 a.m. in the morning.1:55:27Uh so the task I will use is much1:55:29simpler if I replace um if uh you1:55:33replace or we replace Jupiter uh with a1:55:36normal 2D screen what important part of1:55:39the idea disappears that is a spatial1:55:42test. So if removing dabs breaks1:55:46something important about the1:55:47interaction, understanding or1:55:49experience, then you're using the1:55:51medium. If nothing really change except1:55:54that it looks cooler, well, I would say1:55:57keep going.1:56:03And uh back to the theme that the triple1:56:06song um uh this year uh becomes very1:56:09useful. this is a gift for. So, uh we1:56:13don't really see the blank as a1:56:15sentimental prompt. Uh we see this as a1:56:18design constraint. So, the moment you1:56:20fill it in, you've decided who or whom1:56:24um this experience is for and that1:56:26should change how you design it. What1:56:29should that person what that object or1:56:32the environment uh to be noticed? How1:56:35should they encounter it? Should this be1:56:37personal, shared, interacted, permanent1:56:40uh or temporary? And that comes uh to1:56:44the Jupiter's question. Why does this1:56:46gift need space? So if Dev's perspective1:56:51or physical presence genuinely changed1:56:54the experience,1:56:55SR is doing real work. If not, honestly,1:57:00maybe a phone may be a better product.1:57:01Sorry. And that is uh completely fine.1:57:05And we're not looking for something that1:57:07merely uh uses uh Jupiter. We're looking1:57:10for an idea where removing the spatial1:57:13layer would actually damage the concept.1:57:16So please fill in the blank first and1:57:19then earn the third dimension.1:57:24Um practically back to our Jupiter1:57:26tracks. Uh the rule is very simple. Uh1:57:29you can join uh in our uh discourse. uh1:57:33please form a team because we only have1:57:35very limited 40 uh motherboards to1:57:39shipped all around the world. So send us1:57:41a very short pitch around a gift for and1:57:45then we want to understand the concept1:57:47and why they need spatial reality. We1:57:49reviewed uh the teams and selected the1:57:51team received with uh the development1:57:54kit. So you uh to summary so you have1:57:57the display, the motherboard and of1:57:59course EAD. Uh then you have the build1:58:02period uh with our hardware software and1:58:06FE team in Discord uh uh channel to1:58:10support you along the way. So don't1:58:12worry, you can ask question anytime. We1:58:14will try to answer you as soon as1:58:16possible. And finally you bring the1:58:19project to the offline demo uh showcase1:58:22and show us when it happened. Uh one1:58:26very practical note the developer kit1:58:29come uh need to come back after the1:58:32program. So please uh keep that in mind1:58:34before uh epoxy um becomes part of your1:58:38industrial design strategy. Getting the1:58:40hardware is the start. What you make1:58:43with it is the real challenge.1:58:48And yeah, I think uh we already cover1:58:51most of uh our concept, our products. If1:58:54you want to build with us, please join1:58:56the Jupiter SR Discord here. And I saw1:58:59my team member already uh send some link1:59:02into the into the the conversation as1:59:05well. So that's where our hardware1:59:06software FE team will be thoroughly um1:59:09to uh along your whole building process.1:59:13So for kit uh the technical support you1:59:16can reach us directly also uh by email1:59:19as well and here's also our LinkedIn1:59:22post uh if you want to explore what does1:59:24Jupiter actually work with also our um1:59:28interesting cases existing please follow1:59:31us there and yeah we want to see that1:59:35what you think it should become we1:59:38curious about your gift thank you so1:59:41That's2:01:43Hello. Hello.2:01:45>> And uh I'm I'm Wayan.2:01:51And uh I'm the product manager for the2:01:56for the consumer business line at Higos.2:01:59And uh I'm and I lead the products2:02:02product uh products of the reflux series2:02:06Ren printers and the G1X series full2:02:10color 3D and UV printers.2:02:13And uh could you could you uh could you2:02:17see my screen shell screen?2:02:24I think I have some take off.2:02:33Okay,2:02:40I'm going to give a brief introduction2:02:42to the Hey girls and um Hey girls is a2:02:48is founded in 2015 in Guondo and is a2:02:53global leader in high-end resin 3D2:02:55printing with over a decade2:02:58full stack and R&D across hardware,2:03:01materials, software and design and our2:03:04mission um has always been simple and2:03:08make professional grade technology2:03:10accessible to everyone from data labs2:03:14and consumer and electronics2:03:17manufacturers to independent creators2:03:21and small studios.2:03:25And this is a show and this p this2:03:29photos showcases the uh2:03:34exhibition booies while consumers engage2:03:37hands on with H wells2:03:40and the JX series um is the next2:03:44chapter. It is the world the world's2:03:47first desktop color 3D UV and fabric2:03:53threeinone printer and beautiful2:03:55creators who refuse to settle.2:03:59And uh next I'm going to uh introduce2:04:02the products and solutions.2:04:06First is the reflex series.2:04:10um is a resen printer family for2:04:13consumers and professionals.2:04:18The Rift series lineup spans the spines2:04:23the entire resin printing workboard from2:04:27unlock printers to high performance and2:04:31professional models plus curings washing2:04:35and post2:04:38stations for complete desktop setup.2:04:41And this is a full range of materials2:04:44and and uh it including uh consumer uh2:04:51electronics and industrial models and uh2:04:56fixtures and high transparency parts and2:05:01um and models and for tab and uh um2:05:07elast applications for such as a file2:05:11put while protective gears and casting2:05:17and next um let's come to the dual act2:05:22the exciting part and um as as I said2:05:27before the dual ax is a and desktop for2:05:32color 3D and UV and fabric printer and2:05:36do for everyone and uh It turns a single2:05:42machine into a complete color color2:05:47creation station uh studio with um with2:05:50over 16 um million dollars raised on2:05:54Kickstarter2:06:00and this machine and you can switch and2:06:04so there three different modules and2:06:08add-ons. Um,2:15:44first we can2:15:47use AI to prepare some printable assets.2:15:52We can turn this this photo into a2:15:55printable uh 3D model.2:15:58And this is a demo.2:16:04So in the hers we just upload a photo2:16:09and uh describe what you want and then2:16:12generate a 3D model2:16:22and then you can download and import the2:16:25model um into the slicer uh the2:16:29blueprint studio and uh for2:16:33for prepay for preparing for their2:16:37slable2:16:39papaya.2:16:42So this is their2:16:59After2:17:05the SL slice has finished, we've got a2:17:08printable printable file and we send it2:17:10into we send it to the printer uh via an2:17:15ethernite Wi-Fi or USB connection. And2:17:19uh this is a2:17:21printing2:17:53And there you can see there the Print2:17:55band is as large as a ASM plus size2:18:01and this is a material jetting2:18:04procedure.2:18:06The tiny drop light of ink or resin and2:18:11are sprayed onto the PL building2:18:13platform and cured by the bllight and to2:18:18form these defects.2:18:24And these are the 2020.2:18:45either2:18:553D aster and you can you can touch and2:19:00feel the texture. So it's not flat is a2:19:033D test and after printing and what you2:19:07need to do is just to soak the prints in2:19:11water and the support the port wrapping2:19:14around the the the model will dissolve2:19:17in the water. So this one and this2:19:20dragon boat is what you get after the2:19:23support has fully dissolved. And this uh2:19:26this is what it do to dissolving the um2:19:31support material.2:19:35And this is a time-lapse time-lapse2:19:37video um for the uh support dissolving2:19:47and the support is fully and waterboard2:19:51and the with water um is safe safe2:19:55enough to uh to go to their go to the2:20:00drain2:20:02and and and2:20:04no true assessment are needed.
