Unlearned Wisdom by Johnny Chang
0:00All right, welcome to another episode on0:02the Unlearned Wisdom podcast with yours0:04truly, Johnny Chang, where every single0:07episode is a gospel centered lesson that0:09you could apply to your life today. And0:11today we have a very special guest,0:14guys. His name is You know what? I'm0:16going to let him actually introduce0:18himself, guys. Go.0:19>> Yeah. Yeah. What's up? First time0:20caller. [laughter] Uh last time heretic.0:23Uh my name's George Jenko. I like to,0:26you know, tell jokes, learn about God,0:28accidentally offend people when I'm0:29learning, but I'm sitting here with a0:31fellow heretic, so it's good. We're0:33>> biggity facts, bro.0:34>> You get yelled at a lot, huh?0:35>> All the time, bro.0:36>> How do you deal with that? Sorry, this0:37is your podcast. But we [laughter]0:39>> I just took over. I just took over. I'm0:41so sorry.0:42>> By the way, I just want to let you guys0:43know the way that they set up is the0:44cutest thing I've ever seen. [laughter]0:47Like, I wish I could have showed it to0:48you guys.0:49>> Hey, we're building. This is the0:50temporary set.0:51>> No, I like it. It's great.0:53>> Hey, so uh we're going to start it off.0:54You had a very eventful 2025. You got0:57married, you went on tour, and you also1:00released the Christian Avengers podcast1:02episode.1:02>> Yeah.1:03>> And so, we'll start there, right, with1:05the with all of that behind you and, you1:07know, everything that kind of happened,1:09like, can you talk us through what1:10happened behind the scenes and really,1:12you know, coming out of something like1:14that and having time of like everything1:16settling like what what really did you1:18learn from all of that or what were you1:19>> Yeah. Which one?1:20>> The Christian The Christian. you like1:22named my whole life and I was like I'll1:23jump in.1:24>> Yeah, we'll start with that one because1:25that was the last time we saw you when1:28we filmed that episode in Arizona1:30>> and then1:31>> I thought it was an amazing episode.1:32But,1:33>> you know,1:35it's so funny cuz I believe that God uh1:38turns your wisdom off when he wants you1:41to learn like a lesson. And I'm very1:42good at like understanding that1:44something could offend somebody. And1:47people when they watch that uh video and1:49they think that I'm coming at Catholics1:51or Orthodox people, they have no idea1:53that at that time I was like Catholic1:57and Orthodox. It was having1:58conversations with my mom and um you2:01know I have this terrible habit of uh uh2:05leaning on my pride when I get like2:07insecure. And so when I watched it back2:11now from where I'm positioned in my2:13life, I could see a lot of arrogance in2:14that man. And when it happened, I was I2:16was so curious on why God didn't let me2:19see how I was speaking at the time.2:22>> And I think it's because he knew that I2:24was sharpening my sword, ready to like2:27live for these type of conversations. Uh2:30I grew up in a house where we're very2:31good at debating. We like to get down to2:33it. And2:36>> last year was a a big learning curve for2:38me because I realized that I'm not the2:40savior. I'm the sewer. And falling in2:43and out of that uh is dangerous because2:47there's times in my life where I feel2:48like I'm right with God and there's2:50times where I feel like I'm opposing2:51God.2:52>> And in that seat, I was opposing God.2:54And I think God whispered to my heart.2:56He said, "Hey man, like I need you to2:58focus on worshiping me and stop pointing3:00at everybody else and how they're3:01worshiping me." And so when I sat there3:04and I asked God like, "Okay, like what3:06did you want me to learn out of this?"3:08And I think the biggest thing is one, I3:10take a lot of comfort knowing that I'm3:13still learning and I'm not a teacher.3:15And I think in my in my live shows, I3:17made it very abundantly clear that I'm3:19my life. I'm an entertainer and as I'm3:21learning, I'm putting it out there. But3:23when I watch myself back, Timothy uh3:26really speaks to me in this type of3:28volume because I was new and very quick3:31to raise a sword because in my mind, I'm3:33like, "Oh, I'm I'm defending God. I'm3:35standing up for God." But at the same3:38time, I'm splitting the home into two.3:40Um, I never really talked about it, but3:43that was the hardest year of my life.3:45Like,3:46>> last year was the biggest blessing, but3:48it came with like,3:50>> think about it, I lost like everything.3:52And then when I finally got everything3:55back and running,3:56>> I lost my church. I lost family members3:58over this. I lost half of my audience4:00over this. And I sat there and I said,4:03like, "All right, God. like if you want4:06me to learn something like what is it?4:07And I think the best thing I could say4:09is this. If you live by the sword,4:11you'll die by the sword. And so I asked4:14God, I go, "Okay, well, what did I do4:15wrong?" And I acted more like Satan in4:19that episode than I did Christ because I4:21divided the house. These people worship4:24Jesus. These people worship Jesus, but I4:25was like, "No, but we worship Jesus4:27more." And then they were like, "What4:28are you talking about? We gave you the4:29B." And then I went into this and I dove4:31head in and and I became Satan. I'm4:34splitting the room.4:35>> And so I'm really happy that happened4:38because it was a really big moment that4:40slammed me on my neck. But it was better4:42for that to happen than the rest of my4:44life be somebody who separates people.4:47And so now in my mind, I just walk4:49around being like, I don't know4:50everything. I'm still learning. I'll be4:52quick to listen and slow to speak. And4:54then if I do have an observation that I4:57feel in my perspective, this is what5:00Jesus is meaning, I'd rather do it in a5:02way where I'm asking questions. Because5:04when I read the gospel, I asked God, I5:06go, "Okay, well, if you want me to fight5:07these battles or if you want me to go,5:08cuz I'm not shy."5:10>> Yeah.5:11>> But I will be shy if God tells me to be5:13shy. So, let me give you an example. I5:14didn't care if I lost my career. I5:15didn't care if I lost my church. I5:16didn't care if I lost my friends. But it5:17wasn't that that made me mourn. It was5:19when God was looking at me, I felt like5:21he was looking at me like I was an5:22enemy. And I know he wasn't, but it was5:24kind of like if you act like Satan,5:26you're going to be his son. If you act5:28like God, you'll be his son. And so I I5:31came to the conclusion that it's really5:33really really such an easy thing to slip5:35into pride. It is such an easy thing.5:38It's like a it's like our base form. And5:42[snorts] I really had to hammer myself.5:44And after I came out of that saga, I5:47asked God, I begged him. I said, "How do5:49you want me to have these5:49conversations?" And he said, "Do it like5:51how I did it." And he goes, "And ask5:53questions.5:54>> Don't come and just point at them and5:56then say something." Because I realized5:58nobody's listening. Everybody's just5:59trying to figure out what they could6:00say. Like it's a chess match.6:02>> And I realized it's like, "Oh, I'm not6:04in this for the love of it. I'm in this6:05to prove somebody wrong." And once I6:07started realizing this is what my6:09neighbors were doing, I said, "Oh, like6:11>> this is what the Bible verse means where6:12he's like, I fasted in your name. I did6:14this in your name. I did this in your6:15name." But my fruits had nothing to do6:18with Jesus or the Holy Spirit. like my6:20my fruits were uh pointing and and6:22shaming or it was kind of like I was6:24reflecting but projecting at the same6:26time. And once I felt super comfortable6:29understanding that I don't know anything6:30and that it's okay for me to learn and6:32ask and I could sit down with Catholic6:34priests or an Orthodox one or somebody6:37who doesn't believe in that and I can6:38just sit there and be peaceful. I6:40realize that that's the life that I6:42want. I don't want I think the thing is6:44that we're all going to be on our knees6:46looking up at Christ. And I think it6:48would be a dang shame that the devil6:50made us a fool when we're all sitting6:52here worshiping Christ. But we rather6:55fight with ourselves than accumulate6:58good information and then go and preach6:59the gospel%. I just had to pump the7:02brakes on it. That was a huge learning7:03curve for You mentioned like when now7:06that you're kind of like not a teacher,7:08but obviously you going out there's7:10people that are going to be like,7:11"George, something you said really7:13resonated me, bro." Like, but you could7:15you explain this a little bit deeper.7:16What do you do in those like situations?7:19>> I tell people to learn from my mistakes.7:21I think that's the best way I could7:23teach.7:23>> Gotcha.7:24>> I think my dad raised me to be a sponge7:26and he said you could learn more from7:27somebody's mistakes than their7:29accomplishments7:30>> because their accomplishments was7:32followed by a lot of mistakes. Sure.7:33>> Um7:34>> yeah.7:35>> So when people come up to me and they're7:37like yo this really impacted me uh and I7:41just say glory to God. I go listen he's7:43using my struggle to show that I could7:45be the light and the salt of the world.7:47And if I could do that being honest and7:50uh you know vulnerable then how I7:53picture myself is just dancing naked in7:55front of God. Like I am in front of the7:57world but my fame to me is meaningless.8:00I don't think people understand how8:01meaningless it is. like as as as8:03successful as I've gotten it in a few8:05years I'll be forgotten while I'm alive.8:07>> While I'm alive. So forget when I'm8:10dead. Their ancestors are not going to8:12be around be like dude remember George8:14Jacob's podcast like8:15>> changed my grandpa's life. You know like8:17[laughter]8:18>> you don't know that.8:19>> Yeah. I mean even if it does that's only8:21because the glory of God. It's not8:22because of the glory of my voice. So8:24I've just been having a lot of fun8:25entertaining providing for my wife uh8:28trying to help my neighbor. I think 20268:31is my most exciting year because this8:34year is so different than all the other8:36years. All the other years I'm like,8:36"God, look what I'm gonna do for you."8:39>> And uh and like in in in a prideful way.8:43>> And I think it was kind of like I would8:45ask God like, "Hey, help me on this and8:46like what like help me do this and this8:48is my dream and this is my" and I8:49started to realize I'm like, "Whoa, if8:51Jesus came down, I think I would be8:53asking him to follow me instead of me8:54following him."8:55>> And so this year I have no expectations.8:58Uh, I'm just going into the year loving9:00God with all my heart and loving my9:02neighbor as myself. And through there,9:05the the fruits that come out of it is9:07what the Lord wants to give to me. And9:09from there, I'll just praise God. And9:11right in this section of my heart is9:13where I find a lot of peace and joy. And9:15I've been, man, man, I can't tell you9:17how how long I've been searching for9:18this. Again, this childlike9:22ability of joy and peace comes from just9:24gratitude,9:26>> being super grateful for what I have now9:28and not obsessing over what I don't have9:30and wanting God to give it to me.9:32>> And I didn't know that that was my9:34behavior because I've confused myself9:36into thinking,9:38>> God, once I get everything, look what9:39I'm going to do for you. And it's like,9:41yo, I had so much ego. And it's funny9:45because I would read comments being9:46like, George has so much ego. And I9:47would look at that, I'd be like, "What9:48the He's like me." I was like, "Dog,9:51me." And then after 20 minutes of9:53getting angry at that comment, I'm like,9:54"Oh, I am selfobsessed." Like that9:56comment really like I didn't realize9:58that idolatry is so easy to slip in. And10:02I realize that if you don't like how10:03somebody's speaking about you, it's10:05idolatry because you want them to bend a10:07knee to what you think you are.10:09>> And to me, it's like, I don't care what10:11you think of me, bro. Like this guy10:12thinks I'm the coolest guy in the world10:14and this guy thinks I'm a heretic that10:16needs to burn to death. So in my brain10:17I'm like, "Okay, dog." Like I can't10:19please anybody so I'll just please my10:20wife10:21>> and high five my neighbors on the way to10:23death.10:23>> Yeah.10:24>> Facts.10:25>> Is there anything that frustrates you10:26about the religious or the Christian fan10:28base or you cuz to me what I see is like10:32it feels like internet drama left and10:34right. Drewki makes a skit, Forest Frank10:37does something. uh you say something on10:39Johnny says something that they don't10:41agree with and it's pitchforks left and10:43right and to me they feel more10:45judgmental and more aggressive than when10:47I was also part of the secular kind of10:49creator economy or whatever it is. How10:51do you feel about the religious fan10:54bases or the Christian fan bases10:56overall?10:57>> During the Avenger episode, I was11:01like coming in like, "Yo, I'mma fix11:03this."11:03>> You know what I mean? like like yo yo yo11:05[ __ ] like let me get to work you know.11:07[laughter]11:08Uh and when the Avengers episode11:11released and I was reading all these11:13comments and my priests are calling me,11:15their family was commenting and bashing11:17me. Like I I haven't I haven't been in11:19my church since it's been a year11:21>> and I've like cried about that like11:22multiple times. Like I I lost a lot but11:26what I gained is so much wisdom and I11:28can't replace it. At that time, I used11:30to cry myself to sleep because I was so11:31confused. I couldn't add everything that11:33I'm not trying to be like boastful, but11:36dog, I've been crying myself to sleep11:37for joy. Like, I've been in so much joy11:40lately and so much peace. And I think11:42it's because I've give my neighbors11:44grace. So, when somebody's commenting at11:46me or getting angry at me or being11:47stupid or like the Sam Shimone thing and11:49all their audience or all these things,11:51when they're attacking me, God just11:52whispers. He goes, "Hey, remember you11:54were stupid in the Avengers episode, but11:56I loved you and I was guiding you." So11:58when people are being dumb, just11:59remember like I love them and I love12:02you. So be graceful the way I was12:04graceful with you. And because I I got12:06so much grace cuz guys, I want you guys12:08to know this about me more than12:09anything. I'm the dumbest kid you ever12:11met in your life.12:12>> Like full-blown like I was in special12:14ed. Like I only graduated because I was12:17in special ed class. So I've only made12:20the worst decisions ever in my life. And12:21the only reason I'm here as a blessed12:24man is because of the grace of God. He12:26gave me more wisdom. he maybe understand12:28things. So, how can I smite another man12:30who's on the same journey that I'm on?12:32If he's walking and he's treating me in12:34such a disrespectful way or a crazy like12:37way where I'm sitting here being like, I12:39can't fathom the way that the it's not12:41my it's not my job, bro.12:43>> How he looks at me is between him and12:45Jesus. The same way that I looked at my12:46enemies or my opponents or my anything.12:48And then I realized it's like, oh, this12:50is just a mirror. And now I understand12:52when they say the law is a mirror12:53because now when I look at people, I'm12:54measuring them towards the law. And I'm12:57seeing the reflection and I don't look12:58at them being like, "Yo, God, you got to13:00get this sicko."13:01>> I'm praying for them because I'm a13:03sicko.13:03>> Sure.13:04>> And the separation between me and God13:06are far greater than me and my neighbor.13:08So, if I'm going to be quick to forgive,13:10I better do it now before I'm on my13:12knees in front of God. And God's like,13:14"Yo, why didn't you forgive your13:16neighbor when I forgave you?"13:17>> Yeah.13:17>> Do you get what I'm saying? So, because13:19I'm living in this mindset,13:21>> when people make fun of me now, I know13:23this again, it sounds like I'm making13:24this up, but I'm13:26dog. When the Avengers episode, nobody13:28talked about me more than that day. When13:30that happened, immediately I go, "Oh,13:32this is why Jake and Logan do this. This13:34is great." I grew so many followers. I13:36grew so much money. It was It actually13:38made me feel bad. Like I was like, "Wow,13:39these guys are really burning me, but13:40I'm making a killer. [laughter]13:42This is like I felt kind of bad. I was13:44like, "This is so bad." So, I guess the13:47the I know I took a long way to do this,13:49but in any situation, you could look at13:51it from a gratitude standpoint or uh or13:54a Cain and Abel, right? God, this isn't13:56enough or God [snorts] this is enough.13:58And even in my punishments now, I14:00glorify God because I'm like, "Wow,14:02bro." Like, I got to learn in front of14:03the world like, "Praise God." Like, cuz14:05I know I wouldn't have learned if I was14:07working at Benihana still and that14:09happened in a kitchen. Like to me it's14:11just I think God is so amazing and if14:15you truly truly want to be like God, you14:17you got to you got to get rid of the14:19fact that like people are not going to14:21hurt you. Like if they're going to hurt14:22they're going to say things they're14:23going to14:24>> you can't control them.14:25>> They're projecting. I know because that14:26was me. And when I see people do it now,14:28I look at their eyes and I see their14:30motives and my heart breaks because I14:32know what they're like when the camera's14:34off.14:34>> Yeah.14:35>> And they're doing that to themselves way14:37more than they're doing that to other. I14:38know that cuz I did that to myself.14:40Yeah,14:41>> we're hiring, guys. Core of the Heart is14:43hiring. But listen carefully. We're not14:45just building a company. We're building14:46one of the fastest growing Christian14:48communities in the world. In just a year14:49and a half, this community has grown to14:51over 3 million strong. And we're nowhere14:54near done.14:54>> Our mission is simple but massive. To14:56build the best tools and resources to14:58help anyone in the world get closer to15:00God.15:00>> Our first immediate goal is to get a 10015:02million people into heaven. So when we15:04say we're hiring, understand this. We're15:06not looking for employees. We're looking15:07for missiondriven A players that want to15:09change the world.15:10>> Our criteria is simple. Don't show us15:12what you could do. Show us what you've15:13already mastered. Like, if you want to15:15be the short form editor, show me the15:16millions of views you've gotten on Short15:18Form. If you want to be the podcast15:19producer, show me the shows that you've15:21successfully produced. We've learned the15:22hard way not to hire off potential. We15:24just want to hire off of peer15:25experience. People who have already15:27proven that they can perform at their15:28skill set at the highest level. We have15:30jobs available in many different15:32departments, media and content, live15:34events, and marketing. We also have15:36remote jobs and LA based jobs available.15:38If you're an A player that has mastered15:40their craft and wants to do something15:41that glorifies God, then please head to15:43the link in our description and check15:45out the job board. And lastly, if you're15:46an absolute beast at something and you15:48don't see it on the job board, please15:50reach out. I mean, you know, you might15:51be able to do it for us. It might work15:52out. So, if you're amazing at something,15:54you don't see the perfect job15:55description, just reach out. Tell us15:56what you're good at. Maybe it'll work.15:58>> Genuinely, I can't do this without a15:59team. So, I'm very thankful for anyone16:01who supports the mission. I look forward16:03to hearing from you guys. when it comes16:05to like just you feeling you know I16:08don't know if you got e I guess you did16:09get exiled from the church technically16:11right like16:12>> still am16:12>> right so [laughter] what what do you16:14there's going to be obviously the16:15audience they've kind of felt this16:17before they've done certain things16:18whether it's like16:19>> you know the legalism type mindset kind16:22of like separates people right so what16:24would you be your advice I know you said16:25gratitude but what are some practical16:27things like if somebody was sitting16:29there and they're like look I'm trying16:30to be what you just did I went through16:32it I understand that there's trials and16:34tribul relations, but how do we like16:36practically put that into like steps to16:39where we can heal? Cuz you it seems like16:41you're you can talk about them be like16:42they haven't talked to me for a year and16:44I'm and I'm good. Like how do they get16:45to that position or are you are you over16:47it? [laughter]16:48>> It's not that I'm over it because over16:50it would mean that they mean nothing to16:52me and I I love them so much.16:54>> Sure.16:54>> I think the biggest heartbreak is when I16:56meet Catholic and Orthodox people and16:58they don't think that my whole family's17:00Catholic orthodox. So they look at me as17:02if like I hate them. Sure. And17:04>> because of the clips, cuz if you watch17:06the podcast and you see all the clips17:07that gone viral, the one who did the17:08clips, he edited them in the ways to17:11make me look way more disrespectful. He17:13actually came out and apologized cuz he17:14said he was getting nightmares.17:16>> Really?17:16>> Yeah.17:17>> That's interesting.17:18>> Yeah. So, like he apologized to me and I17:21forgave him. But also, I think he needed17:22to do that. I think he needed to do a17:24job that God needed to do with me.17:26>> Sure. Um, now as far as my works, bro,17:30and like how I got to where I'm at, the17:34only thing I could say to help my17:35neighbor is seek first the kingdom of17:38God and all of its righteousness, and17:39the rest will come. And in my mind, I17:41think the rest is wisdom. I think the17:43reason we're able to do what we're doing17:45is because God put it in our brain, but17:47also let us keep it in our brain.17:49Because there's so many things that I've17:50heard, but I let go of, or I see, but it17:52doesn't hit. And God says, "Whoever has17:54eyes and want to see and ears that want17:56to hear, I think that we have these17:58things, but we choose when to use them18:00and not use them." So what I'm doing in18:02my life correctly isn't because of me.18:04It's because God's grace of letting me18:07see it and feel it and and let it be at18:10work. So at at this place in my life,18:13there's nothing I could give you that18:16could help you do your works. I that's18:18why like writing a book or like doing18:21these programs like people always ask me18:22to do these things and to me it's like18:24yeah page one chapter one get a Bible18:27>> and be alone with God like there's18:28nothing I could give to you that God18:29can't give to you.18:30>> Sure.18:30>> So I think that's it man like how I go18:32about like for example the Eucharist was18:34a huge thing till this day. Every day I18:37get up and I place it in front of God. I18:38go God if you want me to see this18:40differently bro like I would I want to18:43see it the way he wants me to see it. I18:45see it in a certain way that people get18:47angry about.18:47>> You see it more of of like a symbolic18:49thing. Is that what it is at18:51>> at this place in my life right now? I've18:53sat down with so many educated people,18:56>> right?18:57>> And I've sat down and I've tasted their18:59fruits.19:00>> And19:01>> if God was here, he he knows that I'm19:03trying to be as honest as possible from19:05what I've tasted and what I've practiced19:08and what I've literally put to use.19:12I have to say I think of it as a really19:15really high regarding uh um remembrance.19:19I think in my perspective I think19:22there's some churches that don't give it19:24enough uh respect.19:25>> Sure.19:26>> I think there's some churches that put19:28too much on it like your salvation's on19:30it. Right. Right.19:31>> And I I just want to be a man that just19:33sits in the middle of both of those men19:34and say, "Hey, look, I've been on both19:36sides. I've been on the side where I eat19:38the Eucharist and my face is down on the19:39ground as if I'm literally chewing God.19:42And then the other side of me is looking19:45at it as a remembrance. And19:48>> I don't I don't I I don't have the19:50wisdom to preach it, but as of what I've19:53received so far, I see it as a19:55remembrance, a very high honoring19:57remembrance. I think he's present with19:59me while I'm reflecting on this. I think20:01it's something that we should come to20:02with complete and utter trembling. I20:05think it's a very sincere thing to do,20:08but as if in this place in my life, it's20:11really hard for me to claim that it's20:13God only because I feel like I'm doing20:15something that could do something very20:17bad. I had no idea how much I wanted to20:20live by the sword, that these movies and20:24music has inspired me to be the savior.20:27I wanted to raise my sword. I wanted to20:30do all these things.20:31>> Yeah.20:32>> And I just sat there and I prayed. And I20:33said, "Hey, God, like if this is where20:35my life leads me to go, then praise you.20:38But20:41I want to preach until I'm an old man.20:43If you want me to go that way to do the20:45impact that it needs to, then I praise20:47you, God, and and I'll do it with a20:49smile on my face. But Lord, like I want20:52to learn from this. Like what could I do20:55to separate myself from getting people20:57so angry20:58>> that they want to take vengeance in21:00their own hand?" And I think what21:02whispered in my heart throughout that21:03meditation was is to live by the sword21:06is to die by the sword. I think we get21:08so caught up in like this spiritual21:10match because my my tongue is sharp and21:13I could go up against three men at once.21:15But if I'm wielding it against God, then21:17I don't have that strength anymore. So21:19he lets them brutally destroy me. It's21:22like when I wield a sword for him, it's21:23like I could have those Andrew Tape21:25moments or like moments where I'm like21:26with Jordan Peterson, but then there's21:28one moment when I'm with Jordan Peterson21:30where I go in with pride and God says,21:32"I'm withdrawing my talent from you."21:35And so when I get there, I look like a21:36lunatic or like dumb or the Avengers21:38episode. So I've watched myself on21:40camera walk with the Holy Spirit and21:42I've watched myself leave the spirit21:43behind. M.21:44>> And so I was like, okay, the only21:45separation between this guy and this guy21:47is this guy's wielding the sword for his21:49own pride and this one's wielding it for21:52Jesus.21:53>> And then Jesus said, "Hey, what if I21:54told you you don't need the sword at21:55all?21:56>> You don't need the sword at all." How21:57many times have I said so that I don't21:59offend, but then we put clickbait titles22:02just to offend.22:04>> I wanted to go back at all of those22:06people that made videos where they22:08chopped me up and they did all these22:10things. And I was about to go, bro.22:12Like, I was about to go so hard cuz one,22:15I would have made crazy loot from it.22:17>> Yeah. Yeah. [laughter]22:17>> I'm a very dangerous person to grow up22:19against cuz I got nothing to hide, bro.22:20Do I have some stuff in my closet that22:21I'm there? Yeah. But if it pops out,22:23bro, I'll say sorry about it, but I'll22:24move on. Like that's like I'm not here22:26to like be scared about it.22:28>> That's funny.22:29>> As soon as I was going up into that,22:30literally, the Holy Spirit's like,22:32"You're going to die.22:33>> You're going to die cuz you're not22:34hungry to change their hearts for me.22:36You're hungry to change their hearts22:38about you."22:38>> Yeah.22:39>> And I was like, Oh, bet.22:41>> And so, like, I had to humble myself.22:43And as soon as I stopped caring about22:44myself, I know it sounds crazy. Soon as22:46I was like, "All right, George is dead,22:48bro. Like, I don't care about George22:49anymore."22:50>> Blossomed.22:51>> Yeah.22:51>> And I felt so guilty. I was like, "Wait,22:53God, why would you why would you bless22:55me now with this story? Why would you22:57bless me now with this? Why would you22:58bless me now?" Like, I realized I was23:00stupid and then then now you blessed me.23:01He goes, "Yeah." I was like,23:04>> "But I'm stupid."23:05>> He goes, "Yep."23:06>> Yeah.23:06>> He goes, "But you know now." And I was23:08like, "Got it." It's like that moment23:10you finally surrender. It's like you23:12have to come to the end.23:12>> I think life is just surrendering until23:14you're dead, bro.23:15>> Yeah.23:16>> I think every day I'm like, "Oh, I got23:18to surrender this to my like God." And I23:20think every day is a slow battle between23:23you and your flesh.23:24>> I think that sword that we wield to our23:26neighbors should be wielded to23:27ourselves. And I think the only sword23:28that could beat it is the word of God.23:30>> I mean, it's the classic when Johnny23:32when I first met Johnny and um it was on23:34a podcast I used to have when he said,23:36"Don't trust your thoughts." I was like,23:38"No, there's good thoughts and bad23:39thoughts." He was like, "All your23:40thoughts." And I was like, "You can't23:42trust all your thoughts." That was the23:44pinnacle where I was like, I started23:45buffering. I was like, "That makes no23:47sense."23:47>> That was the pinnacle for you too when23:49your uh sensei said that.23:51>> Yeah. I was just like, "Jesus, what a23:52line." And then since then, it's like I23:54constantly stumble with that. But do you23:57when you hear his whole story and kind23:58of the journey that he went through,23:59it's something that you've gone through24:01a hundred times over and it's also24:02something you regularly tell us24:04>> cuz like people come after him. Like if24:06anybody's got haters in in the in this24:08faith influencer or you know the online24:11internet world, it's it's him. You know24:13what I'm saying? And it's like and it's24:15all off of like 15-second clips. Like24:17nobody really listens to what he has to24:18say.24:19>> But I'm leaning into it this year, but24:21not in the way that I was last year.24:23Last year was like vengeful. Last year24:25it was like Gotham City and I'm putting24:27on [laughter] my mask. You know what I24:28mean? Like you know what I mean? Like24:31but last year I was about to go in and24:33then I like kind of hid I'm going back24:35into vlogging. I have all these creative24:37outlets that I'm about to come out to.24:38But the reason I hid away from them24:40before is because I knew that God was24:42working on me and I wasn't ready yet.24:44Like I knew that there like there was24:45just something over me. God's like I'm24:46still baking. Like just chill.24:48>> And now I feel a little bit more24:49confident. I'm having this Mormon guy24:51come on because I had Kent Hovind on and24:53he like24:54>> I love Ken Hovind.24:55>> Yeah. He like really bashed Mormons.24:57>> Yeah. [laughter]24:58>> And so like now I'm going to have this24:59Mormon guy come on to try to see if he25:01could move me on Mormonism and sit there25:04and like have peace with them. I think25:05they're very sweet people. I mean, bro,25:07if you're ever going to get canceled,25:08get canceled by Mormon. They're like,25:10"Oh my god, bro." Honestly,25:12>> we need to learn from them. Catholics25:14need to learn from them because we tear25:16our people down, bro. these people. This25:18is the meanest Mormon I got. Excuse me.25:21I know that you tried your best and you25:22really didn't understand, but I would25:24really like you to sit down with25:25somebody and really get educated on25:26this, [laughter] please. And I was like,25:28are you angry with me? He goes, furious.25:30And I was like, [laughter] these are the25:31sweetest people I've ever met in my25:33life. I got texts,25:35proper pronunciation, nice comma, no25:38swear words. When I after the Avengers25:40episode, dog.25:43>> Whoa. Yeah, we I saw some of the clips25:45in the comments. I was like, "Dude, this25:47is nuts."25:48>> Can I say something? Oh, this is going25:49to get kind of like Never mind. I'm not25:51going to say this is25:52>> I Well, how much do you feel like at25:54times that uh you're taking in too many25:56inputs? Or do you ever feel like you're25:58taking in too many too many inputs?25:59Like, hey, I want to give you peace of26:00mind. Why? I want to give you peace of26:02my mind. You should listen to what I26:03have to say. You should hear me out.26:04Like, at a certain point, right, there's26:06there's one truth, right, which is the26:07Bible, right?26:08>> And so, does that ever get exhausting26:10for you or confusing or Yeah. What do26:12you think about that? I think it's26:13healthy to to practice what you would26:16rather want other people to practice,26:17right? So, if I'm sitting down, for26:19example, the Mormon guy that comes on my26:21show, I'm not coming in there being26:22like, I already know I'm going to say26:24no, blah, blah, blah. Like, I'm going to26:26sit there and listen to him26:27>> because dude, what I don't want to do is26:29die and God been like, yo, you should26:31have heard the Mormons, my man. They26:33were the right one. And I'm like, what?26:34>> You know what I'm saying? Like, that's26:36like a bad thing. But that could only26:37happen if you hear something. Now, what26:38I do, like the barians, barians?26:41>> Yeah. Barians.26:41>> Barians. I take it and I measure it to26:43the word of God.26:44>> Yeah. Study all day and night.26:45>> And so I want to show them that's what I26:47do. So I could practice what I preach26:49and that way if my neighbor is kind of26:50curious, he won't look at me and be26:52like, "Well, his ears were close to me,26:54so why would I even give him my ears?"26:55>> Sure.26:56>> Here's what I think about when it comes26:57to having conversations with other26:58people. People say, "Oh, my truth, my27:00truth, my truth." And I accidentally27:02used to say that before. There is no my27:04truth.27:04>> There's only one truth.27:05>> 100%.27:06>> And you're either living in a lie or27:08you're not. Mhm.27:09>> Okay. That being said, when Jonah was27:13about to get swallowed by the whale,27:15they had a lot of people out there with27:16false gods on that boat,27:18>> and they're all hanging out as sailors.27:19And when they prayed to their god, and27:21they prayed to their god, and then the27:23true man prayed to his god, they27:25realized quick whose god was real.27:27>> So, I would rather position myself to27:30respect their gods, respect everything27:32that they're doing, but then show them27:34how real my god is. Yeah. And the only27:36way I could show them how real my God is27:38is by acting like how Christ did. And I27:40think it's not by judging them and27:42pointing at them. Because I did that27:44with my own household with Catholicism27:46and Orthodox and then the house is27:48divided.27:49>> But if we're going to break bread,27:51>> I got to eat their false god. And then27:53when they eat what I truly am gnawing27:55on, they'll be like, "Well, this has27:57flavor. This has life to it.27:59>> Why Why am I going to be scared of their28:01false dust? It's to me it's meaningless.28:03So I'll just sit there while they're28:04playing with sand." Sure.28:06>> And then when they play with the28:07almighty God of this universe, they'll28:09feel something. So it's not me to go28:11teach them what's right and wrong, it's28:13just to be the salt and light of the28:14world. I'm just there to reflect. And if28:16the answer is yes, I love those28:18conversations because sitting around28:20with people that just believe in God is28:21pointless to me.28:22>> I'm thirsty for the ones that hate God28:24or want nothing to do with God. I have a28:26episode Adam 22 coming out.28:28[clears throat]28:29>> Wow.28:30>> And bro, like I'm nervous about that28:32episode because that guy hates me.28:33Publicly hates me. Like he like he never28:35said anything nice about me, but I'm28:37willing to sit down and hear his way of28:38life.28:39>> Oh, you haven't filmed it yet?28:40>> No.28:41>> Wow.28:41>> No, no, no.28:42>> Interesting.28:42>> Now, I want to sit down and I just want28:44to hear his perspective. And here's the28:46reason why, bro. I'm a dirt and rotted28:48sinner. I'm a knucklehead. I'm an idiot.28:51I was playing in my little dustpan28:54building a little tower of babel trying28:56to kill God and replace him. And I had28:58no idea. Wall at the same time wearing a29:01cross around my neck telling everybody29:02I'm Christian.29:03>> Yeah. Yeah. and he met me there and he29:06cleaned me up and he walked with me. So,29:08who am I to look at somebody else that's29:10made in his image and say, "Nah, get29:12this Mormon guy out of my face, bro."29:14No, it's my brother, bro. And honestly,29:16he has good fruit. When I sit with him29:17and he sits there and he respects his29:19neighbor,29:20>> that's something I could take from him29:21because it mirrors what God is. I think29:23there's a lot of religions that29:25represent Jesus, but they take away his29:28name.29:29>> Well, what if I was sitting there with29:30them and be like, "Hey, you know29:31[clears throat] you got that from,29:31right?" You know who said that first?29:33Have you heard of the sermon on the29:34mount? Like there's ways to go about29:36this. I think my life is this right now.29:40>> Love God with all your heart and love29:42your neighbor as yourself. Not chosen29:44neighbors, not your family members, not29:46your own church members. Love your29:48neighbor.29:49>> Mhm.29:49>> That's it. So that's where I want to be.29:51>> That's good. I think what you're kind of29:53like speaking about is first Corinthians29:569:22 where Paul literally says, right,29:58like I'm all things to all men so I30:00could save some of them. And that's like30:02a crazy thing because when people come30:03into my lives, they're like, "Why are30:05you even Because we get atheists, we get30:07Muslims, like just, you know, Tik Tok30:09and Instagram, they just pop in." Yeah.30:11>> And so they're like, "Why are you30:12talking to these people?" And then I'm30:14like, "Why not?" Right? Like if they're30:16in here, they're obviously searching.30:17They're seeking for something. Like, why30:19would we push them away? And so, you30:21know, it's it's true, bro. Like, we have30:23to sit there and kind of have a open30:25dialogue. I would say to anybody who's30:27open to it, but you have to obviously be30:28open first versus like, man, I'm good,30:31you know, like I already know what your30:33doctrine is. I'm going to like dismiss30:34it. So, I I I agree with that 100%.30:37>> I think you're in a teaching phase. So,30:39I think the whole like don't throw30:41pearls to swan like that might hit your30:44heart a little bit more because you're30:45like you have a lot of people coming to30:47you as a doctor. But me, I'm in the mud.30:50And so, even if somebody rejects it, in30:52my mind, I'm like, I rejected it. Yeah.30:54Yeah.30:54>> There was times where I rejected Christ.30:57And he wasn't like, "All right, I'm30:58knocking on your heart one time,31:00George." He knocked on my heart every31:03time it beat.31:04>> It beat 22,000 times a day. That's how31:07many times I should be able to come to31:08my neighbor. If your heart's beating,31:11then you're in a position to preach the31:12gospel.31:13>> And sometime some people want to use31:15words. I think it's better to use31:16actions because, bro, people will hear31:18my words and they'll see my actions and31:19be like, "This guy's a lunatic. Look,31:21this guy's not at all what he says he31:23is. That's my fault and I will be held31:25responsible for that. But my brain is31:28it's rewired now, man. Like, and by the31:30way, it took me a long time to get it31:31here cuz I was surrounded by uh bad31:35qualities. So, I was a sheep and I and I31:37absorbed it. I had to really sit there31:40and practice these habits until one day31:42my heart was like, "Okay, this is where31:43we're going with." And it became true. I31:46think out of the abundance of the heart,31:47the mouth will speak. So, you should31:48listen to how your friends are speaking.31:50even if they're joking because people31:52mask it with jokes.31:54But the truth is they're just doing that31:56because they're it's just like a innate31:59like, "Oh, I'm just kidding. I'm just32:00kidding." But in reality, it's like32:02>> I'm laughing cuz that's just me. You're32:04just called,32:04>> bro. Be joking all day 24/7.32:07>> Yeah.32:08>> So the realest mean thing and then be32:09like, "Just kidding. Just kidding."32:10[laughter]32:11>> Like bro,32:12>> dude, your wife sucks. I'm kidding,32:14dude. I'm kidding, dude.32:15>> Dude, what?32:16>> So I have a question. like with you32:20going through all of that obviously like32:22your wife going through it with you like32:24how did she handle like did did do you32:26guys think it it like affected you your32:28relationship or was it more like32:29>> no Belle and I are one bro whatever like32:32happens to me happens to her whatever32:33happens to her happens to me32:35>> and uh dude like32:37>> I was such a filthy human being before I32:39met Belle and by the way hilariously I32:42thought I was like God's gift to earth32:44[laughter]32:45like I was walking around pagans32:47thinking I was like St. Paul around32:48them. [laughter] And then when one day32:51God called me and it was because of32:54Belle. I was a man who like was like,32:58"Yeah, I'm going to have sex until I'm32:59married." And then when I'm married33:00like, "Whoa, bro. I won't do anything."33:02But it's like I was playing with sex33:05like it was nothing. Like it was33:08nothing. And when it came to his33:11daughter, I wanted to still venture off33:13into that Hollywood lifestyle where it33:15was like basically treating her like a33:17piece of property.33:19>> And I remember clear as day,33:21>> God called out and he said, "If you do33:23this, I'll kill you."33:24>> And it was the first time in my life,33:26dude, where I felt like I was here and33:29God was staring but looking at me like I33:31was an enemy.33:33>> It was the first time I had separation.33:35And I think it was because God was like,33:37"Hey, if I'm giving you my daughter,33:40just know that's my daughter."33:41>> It ain't, you're not talking to her33:43earthly father, you're talking to me.33:46And that fear he had I had dreams for so33:51long. And it was such a funny way of God33:53like humbling me. It was her cooking for33:55another man. And it was her like getting33:57undressed for another man. like in these33:58visions where God's like, "Another man's34:00going to weep in a blessing and you're34:02going to weep knowing that I ripped this34:05beautiful like present from you and gave34:07it to another man." And it started out34:09slow. It started out like, "Okay, well,34:11I'm going to start cleaning up my act a34:13little bit." And34:15dog, the way I look at women now is34:18>> it's like somebody took my eyes out,34:19washed them, and then put them back in.34:21And I see things differently. When I34:24think of my old behavior before, I just34:26want to rip my flesh off of my body.34:29>> And I used to think that behavior I used34:31to want to share with my kids. I used to34:33be like, "Can't wait till he's older."34:35And I would have a booklet. I'm like,34:36"Look at your father. [laughter] Look34:38how look at look at look at a savage."34:43Becoming one scripturally is when you34:47leave your parents. Obviously, your34:49parents are the authority. And so you34:52then become under one authority which is34:54under God and that's the gospel. So I34:56would say becoming onehad in Hebrew34:59means to become one in the heart right35:01onehearted. And so it's it's definitely35:04the physical side but more so the side35:07of I now serve under God and you now35:10serve under God. And because of this35:12that's our center line versus35:14>> I served because I I want you and you're35:17my wife and I like you and then you35:19you're supposed to come become one. not35:21just horizontally but vertically. Right?35:23So that's something that scripturally35:25speaking is is becoming one. And so35:28that's why all the uh [clears throat]35:31people that I mentor that are in35:32relationships, I'm like, you know,35:35they're fighting because one person's35:37thinking about themselves and the other35:39person's thinking about themselves. And35:40I'm like, look, you guys have to think35:42about how God would look at you.35:43>> Yeah. Amen.35:44>> Right. And when that happens, then35:45you're like, oh, okay, that's not just35:47my girl, that's God's daughter. Oh,35:50that's not my my my husband. That's35:52God's son. Now, it like it literally35:54shifts to a whole different perspective35:56versus like, oh, like she did this for35:58me, so let me compromise. Right. It's36:00it's more of like, no, this is God's36:03like daughter. This is God's child, and36:05why would I disrespect God's child like36:07that?36:08>> You said something earlier today about36:10what's more difficult, a Can you say36:12what you were telling me earlier? I36:14said, "What's a toxic relationship is36:17easier than a healthy relationship36:20because a healthy relationship won't let36:22you run away. You'll sit there. You have36:24to like argue and kind of like, you36:27know, uh, progressively work towards36:29something versus a toxic relationship is36:31like, I could just cheat on you. Like,36:33you did that. I'll just cheat. Okay,36:34I'll cheat back on you." And it's like,36:36it's something that you could just36:37you're not confronted and you're not36:38sitting there going, all right, we got36:40to change. Like, we're not going to run.36:41we're going to sit down and we're going36:43to be, you know, so36:44>> can I challenge that thought? [laughter]36:46>> Because, bro, like the only reason is36:48cuz like when I'm thinking about me and36:49my wife, like of of course we have36:50challenges, right?36:52>> But I know women that get beat and they36:54won't run away.36:55>> Yeah. Yeah.36:55>> You know what I mean? I know women that36:56like will be mentally abused and won't36:58run away. I think running away is is37:00like it's it's a it's like a gene. It's37:04like some people run away from things37:05and some people are like, "No, I can't I37:07have to stay here and fix this." So37:08that's even more traumatizing because37:10they're they're trying to fix something37:13that they can't or they're just stuck in37:15a bad pattern. But37:16>> in a healthy relationship now, again,37:19I'm super blessed to have my wife and37:21the only reason that we're blessed is37:23because she serves me and I serve her.37:25It's not like a one-way street. It's not37:27like I'm sitting on a on a throne and37:29and and watching her please me and vice37:31versa. Now, that being said, once you37:33get into this rhythm of like, I'm going37:35to treat this woman or this man like it37:38is the greatest gift that God could ever37:41give me, then bro, it's like, you have a37:44second head and two extra arms. Like,37:47I'll be moving and Belle would be doing37:49before my lips will like mention it to37:51her. She's like already in my mind. We37:53become one that way. We dude, there's37:56times where me and her randomly say the37:57same words at the same time or sing the37:59same song at the same time or we're like38:01so sync that if somebody says something38:02and we're across the room and we know38:04exactly we just look at each other cuz38:06we know exactly what this person's38:07thinking. If she's getting heated, I'll38:09just go like this. If she knows that38:10it's bothering me, she'll like cool me38:12off. Like we become one without our38:13mouths. We could speak with each other.38:15>> You think you got lucky though? Like how38:16do you find a bell or why? Why?38:18>> There's no such thing as luck.38:19>> Yeah, but but why? Yeah, but38:20>> there's no such thing as luck. Anybody38:21who believes in luck is dumb. But why is38:24why is marriage why is marriage a fail?38:26It's a seven we just had James Ston on38:28the divorce lawyer of America. America's38:30divorce lawyer.38:31>> Um you know it's 76 76% failure, right?38:35And so38:36>> how many of those got married with God?38:39>> Hard to say.38:40>> I would assume whatever percentage got38:42divorced.38:43>> Yeah.38:43>> I'm assuming. Here's the reason why,38:45bro. Because when I'm being a38:46knucklehead,38:48>> God reflects my heart and he's like, "Go38:49apologize. Go fix yourself." If you38:51don't have a authority above you to keep38:53you in check, dog, you're evil. Like, I38:55don't care who you are. Like, you're a38:57good guy, bro. But if I give you enough38:58time to be just you, you'd be really39:01bad. You are a very bad person. I39:03wouldn't put him in charge39:05>> for imag.39:08[laughter]39:08>> Can I challenge that? Can I challenge39:10that?39:11>> I would like to challenge that, George.39:13>> I think that to to have a healthy39:15relationship is to know like listen, I39:18think men get confused when they say,39:19"Hey, I lead the house." But that39:20doesn't mean you're in charge.39:22>> And I think that's a huge humiliating39:24like thing that they don't understand.39:26>> You know what you're in charge of? All39:27the bad stuff. Get to work. You know39:30what I mean? Like that's you're a39:31servant. Like I think there's I want to39:33see a streamer being like, "Yo, what's39:34up, guys? I've been serving my wife for39:3630 years. If you want to serve,39:38>> follow me." And like I want to see that.39:40I don't want to see this guy being like39:41who's single, who has no wife, no kids39:45telling me how to get a wife. Like39:46right,39:47>> bro. It's like going to a used car39:48salesman and they don't have any cars to39:50sell you. You're like, "What are you39:51doing here, bro?" Like, "What's going39:52on?"39:53>> It's funny that it doesn't work out like39:54that, though, cuz it's like what you39:55said. I'm like,39:56>> "They're broken."39:58>> If standards were higher and people just39:59wanted you to go get a degree, like for40:01example, if getting a degree directly40:03correlated to getting more women,40:05college admission would be through the40:06roof.40:08>> Be grinding it. You sat it alone.40:10>> It was. And that's when this country was40:11good,40:12>> right? Okay. So, then I have a question40:13for both of you guys. Do you guys single40:15forever?40:15>> I'd be single. I got a GED education.40:17I'd be like, "Um, excuse me."40:19>> Yeah. You'd never get it.40:20>> Literally.40:21>> Um, no. So, I have a question for both40:23of you guys then. Do you guys think it's40:24harder now than ever to be dating just40:26because of this fear with the internet,40:28Only Fans, all this?40:29>> I like, dude, you know what makes me40:31laugh so hard is hearing people's fears,40:33dog? My fear is like I'm talking to40:35nations and trying to get through some40:36like nations head. These people are40:37like, "I don't think God hung these40:39stars in the sky could get me a girl."40:41Are you stupid, bro? Are you stupid? How40:44ugly do you think you are that you think40:46that the God of this universe can't get40:47you a wife? Bro, the reason he doesn't40:49want to get you a wife is probably40:50because you're And I think that's40:52[laughter] the truth. I think that this40:54this we need to have these real40:55conversations with people. Bro,40:56>> this is40:58targeted.41:00>> I'm a preacher and I'm not a teacher, so41:01I'll speak the way that they'll listen.41:03You're stupid. And I'll tell you why41:05you're stupid.41:05>> [ __ ] god.41:06>> NO, I'LL TELL YOU WHY. It's because41:07you're hanging out at clubs, you're41:09getting messed up, you're hanging out41:10with the wrong people, and you're41:11scratching your head being like, "Why41:12don't I have a good woman?" because41:13you're not a good guy.41:14>> I don't do any of those. Then why don't41:15I have a good woman?41:16>> I'll get to the ugly people in a second.41:17>> Okay. [laughter]41:18Oh,41:19>> I was just joking that I broke your41:21thing. Here's the reason why. If you41:23aren't if you haven't found what I fixed41:25it, don't worry. I know how to do this41:26podcast now. Uh [laughter]41:28if if you don't have a woman right now41:30is because you're not meant to meet her41:32right now. If I would have met Belle one41:34month before I met her, I would have41:36ruined it.41:36>> One month.41:37>> Really?41:37>> Oh, yeah. So, so even one month before,41:40but even though you had all those other41:42things, you still had to fix yourself41:43even though you're with her.41:44>> I got fixed when I met Belle.41:46>> Yeah.41:47>> So, here's what I'm saying. The reason41:49why you haven't met the woman that41:52you're supposed to be with is because41:53you're not the man you're supposed to41:55be.41:56>> Dang. You're not a man, bro. Get out41:58this podcast right now, bro.41:59>> No. No. No. Not the man you're supposed42:01to be.42:01>> Would you like to fill this spot,42:02please?42:03>> Here's the reason why, bro. Right now,42:04God wants you to be alone. There's42:06nothing you could do to fight it. If God42:08wants you to be alone right now, that42:10means you need to be alone with him.42:12>> And then once he works on your heart,42:14renews your mind, transfers that heart,42:17releases it, makes it flesh, and then42:19you be like, "Well, no, I love God. I42:21understand God." That I'm not saying you42:22don't, but you're sitting here trying to42:24figure out what's wrong with you. How do42:25you know that your wife isn't ready yet?42:28>> Mhm.42:29>> Bro, how old are you?42:30>> 34.42:30>> 34. He's like, "You're doomed. Never42:33mind."42:33>> No, no. Say she's 6 years younger than42:36you.42:36>> Yeah.42:37>> And right now she's going through a42:38phase that if you would have met her,42:40you would have been like, "No way."42:41>> Yeah. True.42:42>> And God needs to work on her.42:44>> So like a lot of people are sitting42:45around like, have you ever heard that42:48term like, "Oh, I found her when I42:50didn't want her." You know what I mean?42:50Like when like, okay, you search for42:53what you can't have. That type of thing.42:55>> If you were in a position where God42:57wanted you to have a woman, there's42:59nothing you could do to separate43:01yourself from it. There's not there's43:03nothing that I did. I didn't do43:04something to accomplish this girl that I43:06weep uh uh joy tears over. I got it43:10because God worked on me and he gave it43:12to me at a perfect time. If you are43:14lonely right now or if you don't have a43:16woman right now, I would sit there and43:18just praise God and just show so much43:21gratitude for where you're at and say,43:22"Hey Lord, I know what you're doing. I43:25believe in you. I know that my heart43:27gets kind of down. I know my mind fills43:29itself up. I know my hands try to43:31replace her. I think there's things that43:34I'm doing that are against you, but43:35Lord, I praise you for the woman that43:37you're going to give me. If you show him43:40that you already trust him, because we43:42live in a generation where we think43:43we're we're working these women. Oh, we43:45got these women. I didn't deserve Belle.43:48I still don't deserve Belle.43:50>> I look at Belle as if like this gift43:52will take the rest of my life to show43:55God how much I appreciate it.43:57>> That's why I think he he he got Belle.43:59>> I know. bar that heart posture is44:02surrender like he said44:04>> it all ties back into surrender right44:06it's like44:06>> I don't deserve anything and then God's44:09like okay you're ready for when I give44:11you everything44:12>> right and so 100% I agree with that and44:14and but here's the thing what if there's44:17somebody who's like out there listening44:19and we have obviously44:21large age range of people let's say44:23somebody who's 5044:24>> 5044:25>> 50 years old44:26>> 40s to 50s let's say they're still44:28single they've tried they're loyal to44:30God. They're like questioning why God,44:32like I'm loyal. I'm doing the right44:34things. What What would you say to that?44:36That kind of is a different category44:38versus like, you know, him being ugly,44:40other people being dumb dums.44:42>> What about somebody who's over here,44:44[laughter] bro?44:45>> I I think, dude, like this sounds weird,44:48but like for example, a lot of people44:50were like thinking that I was sitting44:52around asking God to be famous.44:54>> Mhm.44:55>> I didn't. Yeah.44:56>> I was just super grateful for where I44:58was at. And God just kept giving me45:00things that I didn't deserve, nor did I45:01work for. I I remember when you came up45:04to me after we shot the Johnny Chang in45:06the Avengers episode. You came up to me45:08like, "Bro, where's your notes? I45:09haven't seen your notes. Where's your45:10notes? How did you just do that?"45:12>> God gave me that ability. I didn't earn45:14it. I didn't work for it. I asked for45:16it. I said, "Hey, Lord, like I want to45:18be sharp with my mouth."45:19>> I think a lot of people are in a45:21position because of their mouth. And I45:23hate to say it. That same guy that's 5045:25years old, I guarantee you might pray to45:26God and say, "Hey God, you know, I want45:28you to give me a good wife, but when45:30he's with his friends, complain about45:31women.45:33>> I think that he'll worship for one45:35minute and then complain for 23 hours."45:39>> And I think that that's a Jew in the45:40desert, bro. And I think that's going to45:41be a Jew in the desert forever. I think45:44as soon as you could look at the desert45:46and praise God for it, that's when you45:47get to the promised land45:49>> and not a minute before.45:50>> That's 100% King David and what King45:52David did. So that's true. That's kind45:53of true.45:54>> And look at him, bro. He had so many45:55women he got in trouble for it.45:56[laughter]45:57>> She's diggity facts, though.46:00>> By the way, I just want to let you know46:01if you're lonely, if you're sad, if46:02you're poor, I'm being serious. Like,46:04dude, you guys are in the best position,46:06man. Like, you have no idea. Like, I46:08know it sounds crazy cuz like I used to46:10get so irritated when I hear someone on46:11a camera that's doing well and they're46:12saying that I'm like, bro, shut up.46:14>> But the truth is like when you're at46:16your lowest, that's when God's power46:18could be the mightiest. So, like, yeah,46:20say you're 50 years old. Okay, look how46:22quick the perception could change,46:23right? You're a 50-year-old, you don't46:25have a girlfriend. Now you have a46:2738-year-old girlfriend. You're 50. Now46:29you're the hot shot at the club. Now46:30everybody's like, "Dang, look at Chris."46:32And now you're looking at it be like,46:33"I'm glad I was single for the last 2046:34years cuz look at my hot young wife."46:36[laughter]46:37>> You get what I'm saying? Look how like46:38quick the perception could change. And46:40that was just me having fun with my46:41thoughts. Imagine what the Lord of the46:43universe could do46:44>> if you could just trust them. When you46:46run into a situation that you feel like46:48it's dead, I think of Lazarus. Oh, I'm46:5150 years old. It's too late. Or I'm blah46:53blah blah. It's too late. All right,46:54it's too late for you. But man, put your46:57God up to the test. Like, dude, show47:00your Holy Spirit that you're ready to47:01see that mountain move and that boulder47:04move and that death come out alive.47:07Like, I believe that, bro. I mean, bro,47:09when I left impulsive, I thought my I47:10thought I was cooked. I was like, bro, I47:12worked 10 years now. Everybody hates me.47:13All these people on YouTube think I'm47:14whack and I have no friends. And I just47:16looked up at God. I said, "Yo, I don't47:18know what's going to happen, but I'm47:19going to glorify you later." All I know47:20that. And now other people are47:22glorifying him for me. Like, I trusted47:24God bigger than my problem. I have a47:26saying. Are you ready?47:27>> Don't go to God and tell him how big47:29your problems are.47:30>> Go to your problems and show him how big47:32your God is.47:34>> Thanks.47:34>> Do you get what I'm saying?47:35>> Everybody worships their problems, man.47:37Everybody just sits there and worships47:39them and worships them.47:40>> Yeah. Yeah.47:40>> The reason why Peter was standing on the47:42water is because he was looking at47:44Jesus. The moment he sunk is when he47:46worshiped his problems. He took his eyes47:48off of Jesus and he looked at what he47:50was scared at. And I think if you're47:52single and you really want a girl, I47:54say, "Stop looking for women47:56>> because you're putting in your own47:57hand." You're you're going to start47:58getting in your head be like, "It's the48:00way my haircut is or it's the way I'm48:01talking or maybe I'm not uh uh doing48:02this enough." And and then now, ready48:04for this? When you get the girl, you're48:06going to think it's about you.48:08>> But if you just leave it alone, you say,48:10"Hey, God, you'll do it." Do you know48:11how I got my girl? I got on my knees48:13because I was acting like a and I asked48:16God for forgiveness. And I said, "Lord,48:19I I think I've been living this life and48:20I don't think it's right." And I used to48:22walk around being like, "I'll act uh48:25good to a girl when the right girl48:26comes." And I realized it's not a good48:29perspective and I just want to, you48:31know, I apologize. And I started to48:33truly try to, you know, be intimate with48:36the woman and be like, "Yo, is this the48:37run?" And this dude just walks into my48:40house and he goes, "Hey, dude. I think I48:41just met your wife." And I was like,48:42"What?" He goes, "Yeah, bro. I just met48:44your I I met this girl." And in my mind,48:46I just said, "This is George's wife."48:47And that was my wife.48:49>> Didn't earn it.48:50>> Didn't even know what she existed. Bro,48:52>> if something is for you and it's made48:55for you from God, bro, not heaven, not48:58hell, not death, not Satan, nothing49:01could separate you from God's love.49:03Nothing. That's biblical49:04>> facts.49:05>> So, honestly, like I I think that God49:07will give it to you when you trust him.49:09I think that's it. And that's just from49:10life experience, man. Like, every time49:12that I've tried to put it in my own49:13hands, I've destroyed it. So, it makes49:15sense why God didn't give me bell when49:17it was in my hands because I would49:19destroy it.49:20>> I agree. There's outside of like49:22relationship, I was I was playing to a49:24character a little bit, but outside of49:26uh like specifically a relationship,49:28just things that happened in my past49:29businesses or whatnot, like49:31>> things got ripped from me. And it's49:33similar situations like probably the49:36same feelings of like when you got uh49:38your situation with impulsive or49:39whatever it is. It's like everything I49:41had worked for, everything I dreamed of,49:43everything I thought I wanted was taken49:45from me overnight. And it's just a it's49:47a it's a very like humbling experience.49:50But then but then like you said, it's49:52like you don't know how big God is. It's49:53like what I was delivered after that was49:55like I couldn't even put into words. I49:57was like, "Oh my god, it's why I'm49:58sitting here." You know what I'm saying?50:00met this guy and then this thing has50:02been exploding faster than I ever have.50:03I'm happier than I ever have. I have50:05peace every single day that I never50:07thought I could have. And it's just like50:09I think that that's the thing, right?50:10People listen to this and they go they50:12rub their hands together like I'm ready50:13to surrender. I'm ready to like because50:15I want I want God. I want that same50:18thing that they have. You know what I'm50:19saying? Because it looks good on paper,50:20right?50:21>> Um but it always works out.50:23>> It's a form of coveting.50:24>> Yeah. And it and and and it always works50:26out in a way that you will never ever50:28fathom. you'll never think about. You'll50:30try to predict it, but then it'll be 1050:32times better.50:34>> I think also like some people get out of50:35a situation. It took me I think it was50:37like two years to realize50:40>> uh after impulsive I was on a vengeful50:42like yo I'm going to show them what's50:43up.50:44>> And that's a form of worship, bro. Like50:46you're worshiping yourself. Like my my50:48everything started blossoming for me50:50when I just started asking God what I50:51could do for him instead of what he50:52could do for me. The other piece to that50:54that Johnny's kind of taught me to is a50:56lot of times people think that they have50:57to be like perfectly humbled, perfectly50:59surrendered. And sometimes God will pity51:01you, you know, or I mean God pity has51:03pied me, I I'll say51:05>> and a a lot of times too, you can come51:07to God angry and frustrated. Oh,51:09>> of course.51:09>> And and a lot of times in those51:11situations, God will show you grace. So51:14it's never this like one for one, behave51:16this way, act perfectly. It's just like51:18if you just come to God however you are,51:20you'll be very surprised on what the the51:22result will be.51:23>> He doesn't call the qualified. He51:25qualifies the called.51:26>> Mhm. Mhm.51:27>> Again, he just wants us to remove the51:28idea that we're doing it.51:30>> That's it.51:31>> I mean, bro, it it all comes down to51:33that apple tree, grabbing that fruit and51:35becoming God. It's just that little51:37mustard seed of like, oh, I'm going to51:39get my wife or I'm going to provide51:40these bills or I'm going to have a51:42successful career.51:43>> Yeah. And as soon as you just give it to51:45God and you seek nothing but his51:48righteousness, then the rest will come.51:50And I think the reason why he says the51:51rest is because the rest to you is going51:53to be different for the rest from him.51:54>> It's going to be the rest to him.51:56>> And I think that once we really just51:58behave and take a willing knee,52:00>> my mom used to tell me this every time I52:02run into a problem, she goes, "Go and52:03pray. Get on your knees.52:04>> Get on your knees and give it to God."52:06Because she used to always build me up52:07this way. She goes, "If a man kneels for52:09God, God will stand for him. And if God52:12stands for him, who could stand against52:13that man?52:15>> I just think this way. But if you're52:16going to think this way, you got to52:17remember that you're dealing with his52:19children, too.52:20>> So, we get so mad at somebody doing52:22something bad to us, and we're like,52:23"Oh, we got to like,52:24>> but the truth is like, bro, you're just52:25as stupid as that guy,52:27>> and you're just upset cuz he rubbed you52:28the wrong way, but you forgot how you52:30rubbed 9,000 people on the way up the52:32wrong way." Like,52:33>> I understand it now. Like, I I get it.52:35Like, the scriptures jump out more,52:37>> but again, bro, like I think we're all52:39Jacob wrestling with God. Like I think52:42>> as soon as God like and by the way,52:44beautiful thing to listen to, right?52:45Because you realize a man wrestling with52:47God, if we're having common sense, it's52:50like, bro, that guy's pancake. Like, you52:52wrestle with God, you're dead. I can't52:53even wrestle with a UFC fighter. You52:55think I'm going to wrestle with God,52:56>> but that means he matched you and he was52:59where you're at and he's willing to let53:01you wrestle this out because he doesn't53:02want you to be like submitting like,53:05"Oh, okay, okay, you're strong." is like53:07he wants you to come to the conclusion53:08of like, "Oh, this thing's bigger than53:10me.53:10>> What does this thing have to say?"53:12>> Because I've been talking a lot.53:14>> Yeah. I mean, you kind of already53:16answered the question through all these53:18stories of like, "What were your biggest53:19spiritual unlocks in the last year and53:21whatnot?" Um, but is there anything else53:23that kind of sticks out to you where53:24you're like, I really learned this53:26lesson or I really appreciate or I'm53:29still struggling with something that God53:31is trying to teach me?53:32>> Yeah. Um, the Avengers episode, I was53:37working super hard to release a live53:40show. That happened, split my audience53:44in half and I was like, whoa,53:46>> that was trippy. That was a huge, huge53:49humbling moment cuz I was getting too53:51big for my own bridges. Like, I left53:53impulsive and I was like, yo, look what53:54I could do on my own. And then that word53:57caught me and God humbled me. And then54:01the Torah was called Man on Water, being54:03in a place that you can't stand, but you54:06stand with God. And I had this beautiful54:08thing and it was supposed to be like an54:09hour long and maybe an hour and a half.54:13And I was like, "Okay, cool. I got to54:15put this project aside right now." And I54:17have to deal with this this whole thing54:19that's going on because they misread54:21where I was coming from, but it was so54:24bad. I can't defend it. I just I have to54:27learn the lesson and move on with it.54:29So, I invite this guy um Sam Shimon on54:32and I was really excited about it54:34because he's a Syrian and like I was54:36like, "Oh, cool, man. He's going to have54:37the answers." That fell through. I54:40wanted to do it again.54:42Trauma and all that stuff happened and54:44uh I think eventually me and him will54:46sit down again. I I I recently watched54:47him on a podcast with Patrick and he54:49said some very nice things about me.54:51I've always had love for him. I I like54:53again like bro, if somebody's wrestling54:54with something, I know that I'm54:55wrestling with something so I'm not54:56sitting here judging anybody. Uh,54:59>> by the way, I thought he came at you55:00super foul55:01>> and just55:02>> I don't even want to get into it. I55:03think you know what I've learned about55:04Sam is Sam is not us. So he's like a55:07little older than us. So he comes from55:08the generation that if he hears the55:10smoke, he's ready to freaking deal with55:11it right then and there.55:12>> And it took me a little bit to55:14understand his characteristics. So to to55:16be honest, I think it's better. He55:17doesn't like it when we talk about him55:19when he's not here. So I've learned just55:21don't talk about him, right? So like I55:23just brought it up to say like what my55:25chapters.55:25>> Yeah, we're cutting that part out. No,55:27we don't have to cut it out. No, no,55:28leave it. Leave it. It's fine. I have55:29love for him. Um, so we went through55:32that. I was just going through the55:33chapters. So the sand thing, then my55:35church thing.55:37>> Then by the time I went on tour, I I55:39dude, I couldn't do the promotions for55:40it. I couldn't do all the cuz, bro, like55:42I would have sold a lot of tickets if I55:44did it during the Avengers thing, but it55:45would have looked so bad. It would have55:46looked like I planned it. M.55:48>> So I was like, "Oh man, now I have to55:49wait a few months because if I sell a55:51ticket now, my conscious is going to55:53feel bad because I'm going to sell these55:54tickets off of a bad like rep."55:56>> Before I went on tour and I took my55:59first stage presence, I had no56:02confidence in myself. Ever since56:04Impulsive, I had no confidence in56:06myself. I felt like a thrown away band56:08member that56:10>> God is giving me grace. I'm still56:12carrying on. And and so I wept in the56:15back of the theater and I said, "Lord,56:16like I've stayed away from asking you56:19from confidence because last time I had56:21confidence, I basically spit in your56:23face and I became God." And so I I56:26stayed away from asking you from56:27confidence because I felt like that's56:29what led me away from here.56:30>> And I go, "But Lord, could you give me56:32true confidence?"56:34I took stage and my life changed. I had56:3815 minutes of comedy ready for them. I56:40did an hour and I did an hour every56:42night for 19 cities. No, I had no jokes56:45prepared for them. I had 15 minutes of56:46joke and for some reason I had one hour.56:49The people that set up my tour and the56:51theater watched all these comics like56:54Theo Von, Adam Sand, all these people56:55and they were blown away by my show. And56:58when they were telling me that, I knew56:59from that moment it had nothing to do57:01with me.57:02>> Wow.57:02>> I knew it had to do off the strength of57:04my Lord.57:04>> That's why I came into this year with no57:06plans, no structure, no nothing. I came57:09to worship my God and to eat the daily57:11bread that I have and share it with my57:13people and that's it. And dude, this is57:16the most packed calendar day I've ever57:18had in my life. That's why I had to fly57:19in today. I couldn't even do it57:20yesterday. Like I I am more confident57:23than I've ever been. But my confident is57:25not from me.57:26>> It's from something greater than me. And57:28this is the beautiful part of it. If a57:29door closes, I don't look at it be like,57:30"God, why did it go?" I look at it be57:32like, "Thanks, G." Like, I already know57:33it's no good for me.57:35>> And then if something opens, I'm like,57:36"Praise God." If something closes, I'm57:37like, "Okay, praise God. I have nowhere57:39to look to be anxious or depressed. It57:43is in my father's hands, and I'm just57:45enjoying the ride as I'm gone."57:46>> Great story.57:47>> Yeah.57:48>> If you love biblical lessons like this,57:50then you would love my weekly Bible57:52class. Bible class brings clarity,57:54community, and consistency. There are a57:56lot of us who read the Bible, but we57:57don't know how to apply that to our57:58lives. Consistency. Also, a lot of you58:01guys want to read the Bible, and you58:03don't know where to start, how to start,58:04and therefore it kind of discourages you58:06guys to read the Bible. So, every week58:08at on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. Pacific58:10Standard Time, we go through one chapter58:13and we break down every single verse and58:16apply those verses to your life. And58:18after the Bible class, we also do a58:20group mentor session where it's you can58:22ask me customized questions and anything58:25about the class and anything about your58:27own life. If this sounds interesting to58:29you, you guys can check the link in the58:31bio and use code wisdom to get 50% off58:34your first month. See you guys this58:36Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard58:38Time.58:39>> What is the tour about? Like58:41>> the tour was just a man on water tour.58:43It was it dude, which is ironic because58:45what I was giving to them was what I58:48needed, dude. Like when I was sitting on58:50stage crying, it wasn't because they58:51were looking at a man that's like58:52putting on a show. It's like, bro, I'm I58:54put my heart out there. Bro, I I was58:56just crucified in front of the whole58:58world, but I still believe in my God59:00enough to keep moving forward even59:01though like I hated myself. Like when I59:03look59:03>> You changed the whole show based like59:04cuz you said you had something. I59:05>> didn't have a show, bro. Because I had59:07to work for the thing. I didn't prepare59:09that show until a month before. That's59:12why when people were looking at me59:13saying, "This is the greatest show I59:14ever saw in my life." Every st every59:16time I st I touched foot on that stage59:18was brand new information.59:20>> What?59:20>> All 19 cities had a different show.59:22>> What?59:23>> That's fire,59:23>> dude. I was in Seattle and there were59:26Seattle and Oregon is like very liberal59:27states, very gothic vibe. Like there was59:30like the people that were performing on59:32the stage before me were doing like59:33blood sacrifice type of thing. It was59:34like a very different.59:36>> I walked on and I looked at my wife and59:37I was like I don't know what to do. I'm59:39like they're going to turn my mic off.59:40They're going to do something. And Belle59:41goes, "No, you don't understand. These59:43are the people that I need to hear you59:44the most. So go perform for them." And I59:46was like, "Oh, that's a good59:47perspective." When I was done, the guy59:49that I was like, "Oh, this guy's going59:51to like punch me in the face when I'm59:52done." He came up to me. I'll never59:54forget this. He came up to me, shook my59:56hand, looked me dead in my eyes, and he59:58said, "I really wish that the rest of1:00:00your shows go amazing. That was super1:00:03impactful. Thank you so much for putting1:00:05on that show." And then him and his1:00:07eyeliner just walked away. And I was1:00:08like, "Huh, cool.1:00:11>> This is awesome."1:00:12>> Yeah.1:00:13>> What were other big memorable moments1:00:14that stick out to you from the tour?1:00:16>> I had meet and greets. Uh each me all1:00:19meet and greets took like 2 hours. But1:00:21there was this one kid that was in the1:00:23front row. I was picking on him a lot,1:00:25just making fun of him cuz people like1:00:26people were coming with their Bibles and1:00:28stuff thinking it was going to be like a1:00:28Johnny Chain thing and I but I was1:00:30talking about being a drug addict and1:00:31like sex addict and I was making all1:00:33these jokes and there was people in the1:00:34crowd like super uncomfortable but at1:00:36the end of the show like older men that1:00:39are like grandpas to little kids were1:00:41coming and being like this was the best1:00:42show. Like it had everything that we1:00:44needed. The whole household could watch1:00:45it. It was it was dirty enough where the1:00:47kids could laugh and clean enough where1:00:49the parents were like, I'm glad1:00:50somebody's bringing this up in this type1:00:51of way.1:00:52>> And so that was like a really really1:00:54like favorite moment of mine. But one of1:00:57the shows uh1:00:59I think it was Austin, it was 50% sold,1:01:03so it was like half empty and then they1:01:05changed the room, which means 20 people1:01:0820% showed up. So it was like imagine a1:01:121,500 seat room and only like 300 people1:01:15showed or 200 people showed up. It was1:01:17empty, bro.1:01:18>> And it was my favorite show, bro. Like I1:01:21had a blast. I And I realized I was1:01:23like, "Well, this is like everybody's1:01:24worst nightmare."1:01:25>> And I'm having a blast. And every single1:01:27person in there was enjoying it.1:01:29>> And the kid that I made fun of, uh,1:01:32>> he at he stayed at the very end. And my1:01:34Holy Spirit was like, "Hey, like I need1:01:36you to talk to this kid. I need you to1:01:37talk to this kid." And I asked him, I1:01:40said, "Hey, man, I gotta ask you. Is1:01:42there something on your heart you want1:01:44to ask?" He goes, "Dude, yes." He goes,1:01:45"Could you baptize me?" And I was like,1:01:48"No, I'm not qualified." Cuz remember,1:01:49I'm coming from like a Catholic1:01:51Orthodox. I was like, "No, I'm I don't1:01:54have in my language like like I don't1:01:56have the worthiness to like do this."1:01:58And I was just about to say no to him.1:02:00And my just my face fro. I couldn't1:02:02move. And I just feel this present just1:02:05going like what are you doing? like this1:02:07kid wants to be with me. Go with him.1:02:10So, we walked barefoot all the way to1:02:13this college place that had this1:02:15fountain and him and all of his like1:02:17friends were there and I like randomly1:02:19came from a show barefoot to this1:02:22fountain and I baptized this kid and1:02:24like [laughter]1:02:25>> it was a really special moment like it1:02:27was like a really cool moment. I was1:02:28like1:02:29>> whoa like I don't know man like if a man1:02:31is asking you to baptize him I think1:02:33that is the highest form of compliment.1:02:35like it's like he trusts you enough to1:02:37introduce him to God. And I think that1:02:39to me was like probably1:02:42my highlight of my tour because1:02:47I just felt like I was unworthy.1:02:50>> But God has keep using me. And1:02:54I've been in this thing for like maybe1:02:5612 years now. And when I finished that1:02:58tour, I had this like really big feeling1:03:01in my heart that it was just the1:03:02beginning. Like all of that was to set1:03:05me up for what's about to happen next.1:03:07And uh I'm very excited to see where it1:03:09goes. I don't know, man. Like it's1:03:12weird, dude. Like I hear about wars or I1:03:14hear about like trauma or hear about all1:03:15these things and my brain it can't it's1:03:17like it doesn't stick to me anymore. To1:03:19me it's like every day should be my last1:03:21day. Like1:03:22>> if you're worried about the war that's1:03:25happening or if you're worried about1:03:27your problems like you're missing like1:03:30cuz if you worried about God then you1:03:32wouldn't worry about all those other1:03:33things.1:03:33>> Sure.1:03:33>> There's one guy changed my life about1:03:35war. He said to me I was like man I was1:03:38really scared about war. I was like bro1:03:39like I just worked all this whole life1:03:41and now I have all what I want and now1:03:43I'm about to die. This is stupid. Should1:03:44I should I retire? Should I go to do1:03:46this d? And he looked at me he goes1:03:50are you doing really well? And I go,1:03:51"Yeah, I'm killing it." I'm like, "I1:03:53just started killing it." He goes, "Do1:03:55you remember being in sorrow?" And I go,1:03:57"Yeah." He goes, "Is there somebody that1:03:59has more sorrow than you?" I said,1:04:00"Yeah, God forbid, bro." Like, "Yeah, of1:04:01course. I had a beautiful life." Like,1:04:03it's funny cuz when you're with Christ,1:04:04you look back at your trauma, you're1:04:06like, "That's not trauma." Like, you1:04:07start like watering down what you used1:04:09to cry about. And somebody looked at me1:04:11deep in my eyes. He goes, "Well, just1:04:12know that if God came back to save the1:04:14world, there's somebody that needs1:04:15saving. So, if you want to extend it,1:04:18you're only extending their pain." And I1:04:20was like, "Oh,1:04:22so it's only selfish of me to want to1:04:24keep their their pain going." Like, if1:04:26we look at how many people are in1:04:28slavery or in poverty or in and we're1:04:32we're talking about wars and these1:04:33people are in the street in the middle1:04:34of it, like all these people are1:04:37suffering and if Jesus did come back, he1:04:40would make us all perfect again.1:04:42>> So why would I be scared of that? It's1:04:44like you really have to talk out your1:04:45fears to see who's your god. Is it Satan1:04:48or is it God?1:04:50>> Yeah. A lot of people worship their1:04:51fears 100%. Under the guise of I mean I1:04:54say I say it as I see it as like like1:04:58kind of like compliance versus1:05:00transformation, right? Like a lot of1:05:01people comply because they're afraid1:05:04>> whereas like they're following because1:05:05they're transformed, right? And so yeah,1:05:07I I agree, bro. There's a lot of people1:05:09who operate positionally from fear.1:05:12>> Even when it comes like fear wearing1:05:13church clothes, you know? It's like I'm1:05:15just I'm I'm only going to keep this1:05:17with God cuz I'm I'm scared to burn or1:05:19I'm scared to have anxiety or I'm scared1:05:21to about my future. So like they run to1:05:23God which in itself is not a bad thing1:05:25obviously but then again it comes back1:05:27to that transactionalizing thing, right?1:05:29It's like I'm going to transactionalize1:05:31and accessorize God. So yeah, bro, it's1:05:33kind of crazy that God has worked a lot1:05:35at least from what I could see just on a1:05:37minister standpoint. Like he's worked a1:05:39lot to kind of chip you down and just be1:05:41like, "This is where you need to be,1:05:43George." Like and it kind of I see that1:05:45in even like Jeremy's life. There's a1:05:47lot of parallels where it's like, man, I1:05:50want to do something and I have like I1:05:52know when I'm right and I know that this1:05:54is what I want to follow and I just want1:05:56to do this and then God's like, yeah,1:05:58but you don't have the right heart for1:05:59it. So, let me actually help you with1:06:01that. And kind of like broke you down1:06:02and surrender everything. That in1:06:04itself, bro, is a lot of grace. I think1:06:06a lot of people [snorts] don't see that,1:06:08right? They're just like, well, what1:06:10about me? Like, what am I supposed to1:06:11do? I have to do this. I have to do1:06:12that. versus with you, it's it is1:06:14different, bro. Because we we've done1:06:16episodes together. And even looking at1:06:17your heart posture now, I'm like, man,1:06:19you're you're more like 2026. It's not1:06:22about me. To say that is a level up.1:06:25Whereas before, it's like, no, we got to1:06:26get this stuff done. Like, what are you1:06:27talking about? I have to sit there and I1:06:29have to like, you know, plan this and1:06:30plan that. Of course, God is in it, but1:06:32I still got to play. And it's like this.1:06:33So, it's pretty cool, bro.1:06:35>> It's a lot of surrender. It's a lot of1:06:36peace in it, man. I've been chasing this1:06:38peace for a long time, bro. And there's1:06:40nothing on this earth will let me let go1:06:42of it. Like1:06:43>> I think about it all the time, bro. I1:06:45was walking by my neighbor and he didn't1:06:47say hi.1:06:49>> And I was very bad. I was very mad.1:06:51[laughter]1:06:52>> I was very mad.1:06:53>> I can imagine with his hands on his hips1:06:55like1:06:55>> I literally I No, I'm not even joking.1:06:57That's how it was. And I was really mad1:06:58cuz I was like, we've gotten so1:07:01comfortable with not saying hi to our1:07:03neighbors. America used to be different,1:07:06bro. Like America used to walk in and be1:07:07like, "Hello, my friend. How are you?1:07:09[laughter] And you'd be like, "Hey,1:07:10brown man, where are you from?" And I'd1:07:11be like, "I'm from1:07:14that." And then they'd be like, "Wow,1:07:15how's Baghdad?" And then you'd be too1:07:17close and be like, "Okay, back that ass1:07:18up a little bit [laughter] over there."1:07:19And then you're too close, you know? But1:07:21you would talk and you would have a good1:07:22time and like now everybody's just so1:07:24closed off and broken that like my1:07:26dreams used to be like, "Oh, I got to be1:07:28rich and famous, bro." Like people need1:07:30to realize how cool I am, dude. And now1:07:33it's just like, yo, there's so many1:07:34people that are sad right now. I want to1:07:36make you laugh. I want to make you1:07:37happy, bro. God has filled my cup up so1:07:39much that I want to fill yours up. There1:07:41was a It was an Instagram video I saw1:07:44and he said, "When I checked your cup, I1:07:47wanted to see if it was enough for you."1:07:50>> When you checked my cup, you checked to1:07:51see if I had more than you. And1:07:53>> in Hollywood, we have a lot of that1:07:55relationship, right? We're like, "Hey1:07:56man, like how much juice you have in?"1:07:58And1:07:59>> when that hit me because my cup right1:08:01now feels like it's just overflowing.1:08:04Like I have too much. Even if I took a1:08:05sip, by the time I went like this, it1:08:06would still be overflowing. So, what1:08:08kind of sick man has a cup like this and1:08:12doesn't go and refill empty cups?1:08:14>> How much do you have to hate your1:08:15neighbor for you to have such a1:08:17beautiful God that's made you so1:08:19beautiful and so happy and so healthy1:08:21that you look at somebody broken and1:08:23you're like, "Pass, I don't like his1:08:25energy." [laughter]1:08:26>> Yeah. Nobody likes his energy, man. He1:08:29doesn't like his energy.1:08:30>> That's fact.1:08:31>> You know what I'm saying? I think my new1:08:33level of Christ is is like wrestling1:08:34with the people that I used to hate.1:08:36Like people used to be like, "All right,1:08:37this guy needs to piss off because I1:08:39realize that like, oh man, those might1:08:41be the people that God wants me to go1:08:43speak to."1:08:44>> And I'm saying, "Nah, I'm good."1:08:46>> It's crazy that you also always just1:08:47give it back to God. And I say this to1:08:49Johnny all the time, too. But you you1:08:51have all these amazing things happen in1:08:52your life, like your girl, the tour, and1:08:54you just keep saying, "I didn't even1:08:55deserve that. I get a standing ovation,1:08:57and that couldn't have been me. It must1:08:58not have been." It's like that's1:08:59something that honestly everyone can1:09:00learn a lot from. It's like an admirable1:09:02trait that you both have. So I guess a1:09:04question is to anyone listening is like1:09:06how do you guys constantly can have good1:09:08things happen to you and then just give1:09:10it back to God. Like I I'll say that to1:09:12you all the time like good job John.1:09:13You're like good job Jesus. You take no1:09:15credit.1:09:16>> And I think it's just a really great1:09:17trait to have. I don't know how you guys1:09:19do it with a a room of a standing1:09:20ovation. You walking out standing1:09:22ovations and then1:09:24>> both of you are just like nope wasn't1:09:25me. It's like I think because when I was1:09:27doing it, I had no standing ovations.1:09:29You know what I mean? Like dude, I had1:09:30no rooms. I had no conversations. I had1:09:33no wisdom to be able to perform it. I1:09:35had no talent. Uh if I had eyes, I saw1:09:38things broken. If I had hands, I1:09:40destroyed instead of build.1:09:42>> So when I'm seeing it prosper,1:09:44>> I just don't want to have a lying1:09:46tongue. And so when people compliment1:09:48me, it's kind of like if I was driving1:09:51Johnny's car and everybody loved his car1:09:53and I pulled up to a stop and they're1:09:54like, "Yo, nice car, man." And if I was1:09:57like, "Thanks, dude." And I like1:09:59[laughter] like threw my shades on and1:10:01peeled off. Like it the guy in the1:10:03passenger next to me would look at me be1:10:05like, "Ugh."1:10:06>> And how I visualize it is when these1:10:08people are complimenting me, they're1:10:09complimenting God's craft while he's1:10:11standing next to me. So it's only fair1:10:13that I pass the glory to him1:10:15>> 100%1:10:16>> because it belongs to him. And then on1:10:18top of that to add it if I take the1:10:20glory then people would want to be more1:10:22like me when I'm a filthy rag if they're1:10:24like me. I have this joke I opened up1:10:26and so I do all the stand up I do for an1:10:28hour and then at before I get into the1:10:31preaching aspect of things. I said yo1:10:32guys like what's about to happen next is1:10:34going to be deep and people are like1:10:35like really on their toes. I'm like,1:10:37"It's going to be great and I prepared1:10:38this for you and and you know, I I know1:10:40that this is great and if you take what1:10:42I say and you write it on your heart and1:10:45you really really follow it, I'm telling1:10:46you, if you really follow it, you'll1:10:48die." [laughter] And then I build up1:10:51this whole joke about how stupid they1:10:52are for coming to a podcaster to take1:10:54notes and like, "Are you dumb?" Like,1:10:56and I I just go off all these things and1:10:58then I say, "Guys, if you're looking for1:11:00a savior, I'm not him.1:11:02>> I go, Jesus is a savior. I'm just the1:11:04messenger. And if you're not going to1:11:05kill the messenger, don't thank him.1:11:07>> And so like I I do this whole thing1:11:09where it's like it's God wants you to1:11:11prosper. He has plans to prosper you.1:11:14But my dad one time we're at the bar. He1:11:17has a cigar lounge. He just opened it up1:11:18and he was praising me in front of his1:11:22friends and he said something that I1:11:23rubbed me the wrong way and I didn't1:11:24like it and it was the only time I1:11:26corrected my father in front of people1:11:28and he said, "Look at my son already at1:11:30his age. He's greater than me." And I1:11:33said, 'How can a fruit be greater than1:11:34the vine? How can I come from you? How1:11:37can I be your seed? How can I come from1:11:40you and be greater than you if I'm great1:11:44is because you're greater than I.1:11:47>> God gave me you and then he I came out1:11:49of you. I can't be greater than you. I1:11:52can't pick an orange from a tree and1:11:54say, "Look how much greater this orange1:11:56is than this tree."1:11:58And so if I'm not going to do that to my1:12:01father on earth, how can I do that to my1:12:03heavenly father?1:12:04>> You get what I'm saying?1:12:06>> Great advice. Great analogy. Great1:12:08advice.1:12:09>> Absolutely.1:12:10>> For me, it's just like reminding myself1:12:12who I am, right? And like knowing that I1:12:15never wanted this. Like everybody knows1:12:17this. My dream was to have a mountain of1:12:21cocaine, unlimited supply of Hennessy,1:12:24women, and being a shot caller in my1:12:27name.1:12:27>> You had that dream, too. [laughter]1:12:30>> And literally was like that's what I1:12:33wanted, right? I tell people. And then1:12:34so when God does bless and give me1:12:37things, like when we went to El Paso, we1:12:39filled out 5,000 people, you know,1:12:41whatever. I'm like, dang. I sit back1:12:44there and everyone's hyped. All the1:12:46pastors, they're like, "Bro, the1:12:49overflow rooms are going nuts and what?"1:12:51And I'm just like sitting there and I'm1:12:52like, "Dang, bro." Like, I genuinely1:12:55didn't even want any of this stuff.1:12:56Like, I didn't go, you know what I'm1:12:58going to do? I'm going to jump on1:12:58Softwight Underbelly, blow up, meet1:13:01Jeremy, Aaron, leftrain, right brain,1:13:03blow me all the way up, and get millions1:13:05of followers in a year, etc., sir. I was1:13:07just more like, I'm going to preach the1:13:10gospel because this is something that1:13:12saved me. And so that constant1:13:14reflection of just like, dude, you're1:13:17nothing, right? I always say, we're1:13:19created out of dirt. And pastor says,1:13:22you know, you're dirt always. You're1:13:24dirt, Johnny. You're nothing. And when1:13:26you remain dirt, God plants that seed,1:13:28which is the word, and then you produce1:13:30life. Amen. So for me, I'm just like,1:13:32bro, I I know deep down in my heart,1:13:35like I never wanted to preach the1:13:36gospel. And there's times where I'm1:13:38still like, I'm good, you know, like I1:13:41want to just chill and we work extra1:13:42hard, honestly. And so traveling all the1:13:45time, going to prisons, you know, having1:13:47all these different people come to me1:13:48for advice and like talk my ear off and1:13:51all that, but I'm just like,1:13:53>> God, honestly, you know my heart and you1:13:56have to hold on to me. And and that's1:13:58literally how I stay humble is like not1:14:01to go, "Yeah, look at me." You know,1:14:03like I would I I think I would get1:14:04high-hearted if I was like, "Yeah, I'm a1:14:06PK and my dad and his dad and his dad1:14:08and yeah, look at me." Of course, like1:14:10suited and booted. I know the Bible,1:14:12Hebrew, Aramaic, Coney Greek. But in my1:14:14heart, I'm just like, bro, I didn't want1:14:15any of this legit. It was really1:14:17selfish. It was more like I was down and1:14:19out. I was empty. And I literally wanted1:14:22to kill myself straight up. And God1:14:24lifted me out of that and was like, "I'm1:14:26your savior. I love you and I care about1:14:28you." And I'm like, "Dang." Like, I1:14:29super appreciate that. Every single day1:14:31I think about it, too. I'm like, "God,1:14:33like sometimes I'll be taking a shower1:14:34and I just laugh like, dang." Like, I'm1:14:37in a place like this. Like, I came from1:14:39section 8 Project housing, like Monopoly1:14:42money, food stamps, like all that. And1:14:44then to be like, "Let's go get, you know1:14:46what I'm saying? Like all you can eat1:14:47barbecue, like that type of stuff." I1:14:49remember we would have hats and the1:14:51homies when they're watching, we'd pass1:14:53it around to put in like a dollar or two1:14:54to get a 40 or something, you know? And1:14:56I'm like, we were dead broke robbing1:14:59people, doing crazy stuff to sit there1:15:01and be like, "Yeah, I love Jesus." Now,1:15:02it's like, nah, bro. Like, I'm I'm not1:15:05going to even lie about that. That's the1:15:06real And so, that kept me that keeps me1:15:09till till this day grounded because1:15:11there's that heart of when you get that1:15:12standing ovation, there's a little bit1:15:15of creeping. You know, DL Moody, I study1:15:16him a lot. He was talk he was given this1:15:19sermon on the Holy Spirit, how to obtain1:15:21the Holy Spirit. And you know, there's1:15:24this lady that comes up to him and goes,1:15:25"Oh my gosh, your sermon was amazing."1:15:28And I I it was so impactful and thank1:15:31you so much. And he goes, "Sister,1:15:33you're too late." Said, "What do you1:15:35mean? I stayed here from the beginning.1:15:36Like I was in line, watched your stuff,1:15:38you know, 10,000 people and all of a1:15:41sudden, you know, why are you saying1:15:42that?" And he goes, "No, no, you're too1:15:43late. Satan already told me that. Like1:15:45you're doing good. you know, you're1:15:47great, you're amazing. Like, he already1:15:49told me that. And so, I was like,1:15:51sheesh. When I read that, it kind of1:15:53gave me the heart posture to be like,1:15:55>> it's true. Like, we love, as much as we1:15:57say like we want to pass it on to God,1:15:59deep down, everybody loves the ego1:16:01stroke. And that's the thing I go to God1:16:03about is like, Lord, this is me and you1:16:06know me. I'm not going to sit and be1:16:07like, I'm so humble. Like, hell no. But1:16:10Lord, if you want me to go this way, if1:16:12you want to humble me down, like, you're1:16:14going to have to do it. I can't do it.1:16:16You know, recently we had a1:16:17conversation, right? We spoke for about1:16:19two hours over the phone and I wanted to1:16:21kind of like you to maybe share a little1:16:23bit on that cuz I think this1:16:25conversation was really good and a lot1:16:27of people also kind of struggle with1:16:29this exact thing. So1:16:30>> yeah,1:16:30>> what if you can enlighten the audience1:16:32on what what it was? Um, so I what I do1:16:36is I like we'll read, I'll meditate, and1:16:40I'll pray, but then I'll also uh I go to1:16:43people and basically just put my heart1:16:46on the table and I say, "Hey, use the1:16:49gospel and reflect this character of1:16:51mine."1:16:52>> And I think that's what I do with you a1:16:54lot. Uh, I do that with Cliff. I do that1:16:56with Stuart. I do that with Robert. I do1:16:59I do that with so many people. Um, and1:17:02yeah, that's basically what I do. I I1:17:04don't I don't think it's too deep. I1:17:06think it's just1:17:06>> I like to make sure I'm not lying to1:17:08myself1:17:09>> cuz1:17:11I'm I'm really really good at convincing1:17:13others, which means I'm very good at1:17:14convincing myself.1:17:16>> So, I like to hold myself accountable1:17:18while I'm here before I go and I meet1:17:20God. Not because I need it, cuz I don't1:17:22think my salvation is based off my1:17:24works.1:17:24>> I just want to make sure that I'm being1:17:26a good son. I brought up cannabis1:17:27because I used it for medical use. And1:17:30uh there was a part of my life where I1:17:32was um abusing it.1:17:34>> And when I was abusing it, I was like,1:17:36"Oh, this isn't good." Like I could be a1:17:38lazy fool.1:17:39>> Um the gospel tells me to be uh sober1:17:42and alert. And so when I do use it, I I1:17:46basically call you and say, "Hey, this1:17:47is how I use it. This is when I use it.1:17:50Um am I lying to myself or is this1:17:53actual a posture of a heart that you1:17:54could agree with? Is this not? And it's1:17:57so funny because he was so nice to me.1:17:58He goes, "No, this is biblically correct1:18:00because of this, this, and that." I was1:18:01like, "No, you don't get it. I'm a liar.1:18:02I do this." I mean, and so [laughter]1:18:04like the whole time I was like I was1:18:05like fighting against myself. And then1:18:07he was like, "Dude, relax." And I1:18:09[laughter] was like, "No, no, you don't1:18:10get it." And I was like I just kept like1:18:12and he like with the compliment he's1:18:14like, "Oh no, that's a very honest1:18:15heart." I was like, "No, no, no." I'm1:18:16like, "I did this." And then and then he1:18:18was just like, "No, I get it." And so to1:18:21be honest, that that conversation was1:18:22like to me it was like too good to be1:18:24true. Like I was just like nice. Like I1:18:26I walked away from it. I thought he was1:18:28going to re me and be1:18:29>> Well, so what was your biggest struggle?1:18:30That you do you do smoke weed and you1:18:34don't it's not like something that1:18:36bothers you that you smoke weed or that1:18:37you do smoke weed and it lingers in your1:18:40mind. You have guilt that you carry or1:18:42like1:18:42>> I've had conversations with Catholic1:18:44priests, Orthodox priests. I've had1:18:46conversations with my church that I came1:18:48from. I had church with the new church1:18:50that I'm with. And all of them from when1:18:52I sit them down, I said, "Hey, this is1:18:54exactly what I'm using it for." And I'll1:18:55be honest, like, hey, I've used it here.1:18:57Um, and I did this and that. Like, what1:19:00are your thoughts on this? Like, is this1:19:01wrong? Because1:19:04I think of when Paul says that1:19:05everything is lawful, but not everything1:19:07is good.1:19:08>> Um, but I also compare this to drinking.1:19:12>> Mh.1:19:12>> But also, it's like different because I1:19:14don't I it's kind of hard to explain,1:19:16but somebody who's like smokes and1:19:17drinks will tell you the difference.1:19:19There's a very huge difference. One's1:19:21like fully lost control and one's like1:19:23hyperfocused on something.1:19:25>> And when I was a kid, they try to put me1:19:27on like ADD medication to help me like1:19:30zone in. And a lot of people need to1:19:33wake up and they need coffee. They need1:19:35coffee. They can't. They're sleepy. I1:19:38wake up JUST LIKE, "HELLO, [screaming]1:19:39GOOD MORNING." LIKE, [laughter] and so1:19:40like1:19:41>> your neighbor, that's why he doesn't1:19:42talk to you.1:19:43>> He's like, "That's the guy." And so like1:19:45I you I would go to somebody and say,1:19:48"Hey, like I know I use this to like1:19:50wind me down."1:19:51>> And he corrected me. He said, "That's1:19:54wrong. You shouldn't be using it." He1:19:55goes, "Cuz wherever you run to in your1:19:57crisis is where your Christ is."1:19:59>> And I was like, "Whoa, am I using1:20:01marijuana as a substitute for where I1:20:03should be using with the gospel?"1:20:06>> Catholic, Orthodox, all these people are1:20:08like, "The way that you're using it1:20:09seems to be like a more medical use.1:20:11You're not using it to go party or get1:20:12women or like frying your brain. you're1:20:14using it to like reduce swelling, uh,1:20:17relax yourself at night, get yourself on1:20:19wine. And so they all were like, "No,1:20:22you're good in my book. You're not1:20:23abusing it." But I kept feeling like I1:20:25was like, you know, like saying I was1:20:28saying it in such a perfect way that1:20:30they're like, "You're fine." And then1:20:31when I go to heaven, I'm like, "Well,1:20:33this is it." You know what I mean? Like,1:20:35>> and so I get on myself because God gave1:20:37me a really strong tongue, bro. Like if1:20:40I could convince you to buy a ticket and1:20:42come to my show and laugh and hang out,1:20:45then I could probably convince you1:20:46anything. So if God gave me a blessed1:20:48tongue, I could use it in a bad way.1:20:50That's a curse. And I don't want to1:20:52curse myself. And I also don't want to1:20:53curse other people that listen to me. So1:20:55I just hold myself responsible and I and1:20:57I go to people and I say, "Hey, like1:20:59what do you think as a brother? Like1:21:01what do you think this is? Do you think1:21:02this is something I should get rid of?"1:21:03Because this is something in a season1:21:05that I'm doing now. Um me and Bell are1:21:07going to be trying soon to have babies.1:21:09I'm not going to be smoking while I'm1:21:10doing that.1:21:10>> Sure.1:21:11>> Uh I never grew up drinking. I never did1:21:13drugs. I never did any of these things.1:21:15So like I don't know. Listen, again, I1:21:17tell this to everybody. Before I did1:21:19this, I talked to my mom and dad because1:21:20they wanted to put me, and this is a bit1:21:22it's a it's a joke, but it's based off1:21:24of true stuff. They wanted to put me on1:21:26sleeping medication, and I was like, I'm1:21:28good. I saw what you did to Michael1:21:29Jackson. Like, I wanted something that's1:21:31like natural and that I I could wake up1:21:33the next day. And uh so before I took1:21:36these sleeping medications, my mom was1:21:37like just uh you know just before bed1:21:40and that's it. [laughter] But that ended1:21:44up being like you know it's good with1:21:46pizza. [laughter]1:21:49And uh and my Holy Spirit was like1:21:51nudging at my heart and he's like, "Hey1:21:53dude, like I think you're abusing this."1:21:55[clears throat] And people would kind of1:21:56smite me online and they'd be like,1:21:57"Look at this guy preaching the gospel."1:21:59I go, "You're dumb. I'm not preaching1:22:00the gospel. I'm just talking about the1:22:02gospel." And like I'm not a preacher. If1:22:04you're looking at me as a preacher,1:22:05you're stupid. Like I tell you that all1:22:07the time. I'm not a preacher. I'm a kid1:22:08that just likes to talk about God. Uh1:22:10[laughter] but it's hard to put my heart1:22:13out there because the people that love1:22:15me, they only love me until they find a1:22:17reason not to.1:22:18>> Yeah, that's facts.1:22:19>> And and so it's1:22:21>> I've kind of washed my hands from the1:22:22world after the Sam Shimone thing. Bro,1:22:26if you live a life where one day1:22:27somebody's like, "Dude, you're so1:22:28awesome. I love you." And the next day1:22:29make a video about you're a heretic and1:22:31you're going to burn in hell. Like1:22:32[laughter] you watch this go up and down1:22:34so many times, eventually you're going1:22:36to be like, "Oh, I don't care what you1:22:37guys think of me." It changes. And it's1:22:39sad, but I've lost the love of their1:22:41approval. Like before I used to be like,1:22:43"Oh, how do they feel about me?" And now1:22:45like I don't care how you feel about me,1:22:46bro. Like, and I don't mean to be1:22:48disrespectful when I say that, but like1:22:49God abundantly made me like chill. Like1:22:51I'm I'm chill.1:22:52>> You should be too.1:22:53>> And also, I wouldn't trade lives with1:22:54any of you guys that are commenting. You1:22:56know what I mean? [laughter] Like, so in1:22:58my mind, I'm like, "All right, I'm just1:22:59going to be bluntly honest. I'm going to1:23:02correct myself and I'm just going to1:23:04live in the eyes of God. And God gave me1:23:06a church. And the church is people that1:23:09believe in Jesus Christ and they are1:23:11under the authority of the gospel and1:23:13they they want to live in obedience of1:23:16Christ. And so I bring it to these1:23:17people. And by the way, I bring it up to1:23:19people that I don't agree with all the1:23:21other things like with Catholics. I1:23:22don't believe in some of their things,1:23:23but I love their teaching and I love,1:23:25you know, they have a lot of good1:23:26things. So I go to them about some1:23:28things and learn from them. But yeah, I1:23:30mean that's a kind of long way to say1:23:33it, but I basically call people all the1:23:35time and I write down in a journal like,1:23:37"Hey, talk to them about this." And it's1:23:38super uncomfortable, bro. Like it is1:23:40such an uncomfortable thing to like,1:23:42"Hey man, I've been a a knucklehead1:23:44here."1:23:44>> Yeah. June 7th.1:23:47>> Yeah. [laughter]1:23:48>> No, for sure. For sure. I noticed I1:23:50remember what you shared that was very1:23:52like I kind of saw the heart posture was1:23:54when you said I feel okay with it only1:23:58until somebody tells me yo bro you1:24:01should be feeling guilty about this and1:24:02then you were kind of like1:24:04>> like I feel okay but like when I'm1:24:06around other people then I don't feel1:24:08okay about it right and so I I realized1:24:10that that's kind of what lawbased like1:24:13legalistic sanctification does for1:24:15people is if you're if you're supposed1:24:17to be led by the Holy Spirit Right? It1:24:20would be different if you were like,1:24:21"God, I feel like makes me feel like1:24:23this." Right? Versus like, "This person1:24:26said something and I only when I'm1:24:27around them, I kind of feel like guilty1:24:29about it." Then it it wouldn't be led by1:24:32like by like the Holy Spirit. It was it1:24:34would be led by the the guilt, right,1:24:36and shame. And so, we had that1:24:38conversation and I remember you were1:24:40like, "Bro, all right." Like, it's you1:24:42said exactly what you said. You're like,1:24:43"Bro, this sounds kind of too good to be1:24:45true.1:24:46Shouldn't I be feeling bad about, you1:24:48know, the things like if I love God and1:24:50I claim to love God? You said, shouldn't1:24:52I feel bad, right? And we had to talk1:24:54about conviction versus condemnation.1:24:56And it was really cool like for you to1:24:58like reach out and then be like, "This1:25:01is what I'm dealing with. This is what1:25:02I'm struggling with." Which a lot of1:25:04people don't do. Like you say, it's very1:25:06difficult. Right. And so Jeremy harps on1:25:08this. He's like, "You got with my team,1:25:11he's like, "You guys all have Johnny's1:25:12number, right? Like hit him up. Hit him1:25:14up." And that's one thing that helped1:25:16with him was like he would call me like1:25:18even like 2:00 in the morning type stuff1:25:20like yo I'm struggling with this like1:25:22how do we deal with this right I was one1:25:23time on a flight to Brazil in Ver I was1:25:26going to their prisons out there they1:25:28flew me out I was and this was like1:25:29early on like about a year ago and we1:25:32ended up going in Virgin Airlines right1:25:34and they had bomb Wi-Fi bro to the point1:25:36where I could like still pick up the1:25:38call so I see the call and I'm like bro1:25:40is calling me and it's like you know1:25:42late at night and I pick up and He's1:25:44just like going off, bro. I'm struggling1:25:46with this, man. Like, I'm pissed at this1:25:48person. How do I handle it? How? But1:25:50through all of these things, I started1:25:51to notice that like when you ask1:25:53questions, and I want to commend you for1:25:55this, is when you're sitting here and1:25:57you're like, "Look, I put my heart out1:25:59as you say on like for the gospel to1:26:01judge. And here is my heart and all my1:26:04vulnerability and all my nastiness. What1:26:06do you think?" Right? That in itself,1:26:08bro, is very difficult for anybody to1:26:11do, Christian or not. Specifically1:26:13though, I think Christians in that1:26:15you're like, "Okay, we have a set1:26:18standard." Whether we people say we do1:26:20or not, there are people who are like,1:26:22"You got to live like this, this, and1:26:24this." Very legalistic. Then to sit1:26:26there and be like, "I know what I'm1:26:29going to get into potentially. They're1:26:31going to tell me what they feel and1:26:32their interpretations, which may or may1:26:34not be wrong. I want to be obedient to1:26:36God." as you say, when you're putting it1:26:38out there, it's more different than like1:26:40with the homies where it's like, "Hey,1:26:41bro, I'm secular. You're secular." We're1:26:43kind of similar. So, like, if you just1:26:46tell me what I want to hear, like that's1:26:47easier than going, "You're going to have1:26:50to tell me and potentially cut me like s1:26:52like surgery. You're cutting me not to1:26:54hurt me, but to heal me. But e either1:26:55way, that cut is still going to hurt.1:26:57I'm still going to have to like recoup1:26:58from that and, you know, rehab from1:27:00that." So, it was really cool to like1:27:01see that, bro, and be like, "Dang,1:27:03George, you're like literally willing to1:27:04call people." And I think I think like1:27:07as you had mentioned, you told me as1:27:08well, like I think you talked to Cliff a1:27:10lot, right? Would you say like Yeah. So1:27:12you're like, "Bro, I talked to Cliff1:27:13about this. He had his thing, then I1:27:15talked, you know, I I need to get it1:27:16from you." So how do you My question to1:27:19you is this. How do you balance? Let's1:27:21say let's say I give uh advice, right?1:27:24And then Cliff gives the complete1:27:26opposite advice. Now obviously like you1:27:28know he's a mentor and and to you, but1:27:30like there's a reason why you called me1:27:32too, let's say, right? How do you I1:27:34guess discern as to what you're going to1:27:37pick up, what you're going to put down,1:27:38what you're going to You understand what1:27:39I'm saying?1:27:40>> Yeah.1:27:40>> Yeah.1:27:41>> I think the reason that I do the things1:27:43that I'm supposed to do that's good is1:27:45because I heard the word of God1:27:47>> and it's so sharp that if it took me a1:27:49year or if it took me a week or it took1:27:51me however, listening to the word1:27:54transformed my heart. Mhm.1:27:56>> And so I try to sit there and I try to1:27:59listen to the gospel as much as I can1:28:01from all perspectives possible because1:28:04I'm not doing this off of my own might.1:28:06>> It is the Holy Spirit that's guiding me1:28:08and comforting me. So when I hear1:28:10something, my Holy Spirit is guiding me1:28:13even when I'm being silly.1:28:15>> So when it came to lustful thoughts and1:28:16being uh not good when it comes to, you1:28:20know, sex or whatever like that,1:28:22>> I didn't work my way out of looking at1:28:23women differently. Sure.1:28:25>> Spending enough time with Jesus made me1:28:27look at him from like, you know what I1:28:29mean? Like I went from like, yo, what's1:28:30this up to? [laughter]1:28:32>> To like, yo, like I need to talk to this1:28:34girl about her actions. Like, I hope1:28:36that she's okay. We should pray for my1:28:38my everything changed. It wasn't me1:28:40working for it. It was me hearing the1:28:42word enough where it challenged my1:28:43flesh. And then I asked the Holy Spirit,1:28:46"Hey, I want to be closer to you." And1:28:48then through just meditation and prayer,1:28:51the Holy Spirit renews my mind and gave1:28:54me a new heart. For that to happen, I1:28:56need to be presented to the gospel. So1:28:58that's why I go and I demand people to1:29:00to sharpen me and ask and because people1:29:04run away from it because they're like,1:29:05"Oh, I don't want to be held1:29:06responsible."1:29:07>> But I think they're looking at it a1:29:08wrong way. I think they're like, "Oh,1:29:09once I hear it, then I have to act on1:29:10it." When it's not true. I didn't act on1:29:12any of this stuff. He acted through me1:29:14for me to be able to produce this. So I1:29:17think what I'm doing is I'm basically1:29:19tapping on trees to see the seeds, taste1:29:21the fruits, and then the Holy Spirit1:29:23will tell me, "Hey, like you know, when1:29:25somebody said,"Oh, you could do anything1:29:27as long as you're fine." Did that sit1:29:29right with you? And I said, "No, that1:29:30seems like a lazy man that's like that's1:29:32a spoiled kid." He goes, "Okay, but when1:29:34Johnny said that your heart posture will1:29:36change for it and the Lord will direct1:29:39your steps. Just keep leaning on him and1:29:41eventually you'll see it differently."1:29:42I'm like, "Okay, that makes sense."1:29:44Because me trying to do it myself, I1:29:46wasn't able to do it.1:29:47>> And you know what's even more1:29:48humiliating, bro? Uh getting in front of1:29:50the world after like doing the same1:29:52mistake over and over. [laughter]1:29:54>> It's like,1:29:54>> bro, bars,1:29:55>> it just to me, it's just kind of like1:29:57somebody's going to be like, why would I1:29:58listen to you? And they have every right1:30:00to say that.1:30:00>> Sure. Sure. 100%.1:30:02>> But again, it's like I'm not here for1:30:03them. I'm here for him.1:30:04>> They don't pay my bills. He does.1:30:06>> Amen.1:30:07>> It's a It's a tricky place to be in.1:30:08It's It's a little uncomfortable, but1:30:10also it's very freeing.1:30:11>> Yeah. because it's like you're never1:30:14worried about this thing getting exposed1:30:15because you're like I already did my own1:30:18podcast. Like so it's I kind of throw1:30:20everything out there and I feel like1:30:22that's being free in Christ.1:30:23>> Daily devotions are back and they're in1:30:25your email. Every single day I start1:30:26with the word of God and I share that1:30:28with you guys so that you can also have1:30:30the same peace, hope, and happiness that1:30:32I move forward throughout the day. Every1:30:34morning I send you a piece of scripture1:30:36and an explanation to help you with your1:30:37spiritual walk. So, if1:30:46you want to sign up for the emails, link1:30:48in the description. Do you do you think1:30:51if you were to pass away today?1:30:53>> Yeah.1:30:54>> Where do you think like do you think1:30:56you're your salvation is secured? Like1:30:58could you 100% be like me, George Jenko,1:31:01>> with all the stuff that I've done or1:31:03whatever it is like I can get to heaven.1:31:05And why why do you think that? Dude, I1:31:07used to walk around weeping.1:31:09>> Yeah, bro. You would tell me that.1:31:10That's what that's what I'm asking. You1:31:11would tell me that.1:31:11>> And now I just have this life where I I1:31:13feel like I'm already in heaven. I feel1:31:15like I'm in the presence of God. And1:31:16when I die, I'll just be more alive than1:31:18I am right now.1:31:19>> And I think yes, I absolutely am going1:31:21to have uh salvation in Christ because1:31:24before I was like, "Hey God, thank you1:31:27for doing that. And also, look at all1:31:28this stuff I did for you." And it's1:31:30trying to walk into a door where you1:31:32can't bring the stuff with you.1:31:34And when I fully let go of all of my1:31:36works and I fully let go of all of my1:31:38everything of me and I'm like, hey, it1:31:39has nothing to do with me. It has1:31:41nothing to do with me at all. It has1:31:43everything to for what you did and1:31:45everything good that everybody's1:31:46praising me for is off of you already.1:31:48So like there's nothing that I could1:31:50produce to you that would get me into1:31:53salvation. That being said, I really1:31:55believe in Jesus. I really believe that1:31:58I might not be a perfect man, but I know1:32:01where I used to be without him. And if1:32:03you leave me in this same situation that1:32:06I'm in over a million years, I know I1:32:09will be more and more and more and more1:32:11like Christ, I think I am because my1:32:14feet, my heart, my mind is positioned1:32:16towards the cross and I'm eager to be1:32:18swept away by my savior. And I think1:32:20that is why I'm going to be saved is1:32:22because I'm looking for the savior. I1:32:24think before I wasn't because I was1:32:26looking for the savior and also1:32:28everything that I've done with it. M1:32:30>> and I think that when I read the Bible1:32:32verse where he says many many will come1:32:34to my name1:32:35>> if I would have died then I would have1:32:37never made it to heaven1:32:38>> because even in my heart I felt like I1:32:41had to do something1:32:43>> and that itself will will keep you in a1:32:46trap%1:32:47>> because you might lie to your mom and1:32:48dad, you might lie to your priest. You1:32:50might lie to everybody and you're good1:32:51at it. You've convinced them that you're1:32:53on this path and you've been following1:32:55the laws. I go but I'm an honest guy and1:32:57I'm a piece of [ __ ] dude. Like deep1:32:59down to my core, I'm a piece of [ __ ]1:33:02>> I'd rather keep it 100.1:33:04>> So when God walks in, it ain't like when1:33:06you're trying to act different in front1:33:07of your friends.1:33:08>> He's going to be like, "That's the same1:33:09George that's kneeling in front of me in1:33:11his closet, and that's the same George1:33:13that's on the podcast. That's my son.1:33:15Come bring him in."1:33:16>> You said something that I really, really1:33:18relate with when you said, "I'm so good1:33:20at convincing people things that I'm in1:33:22turn I'm really good at convincing1:33:23myself things." And that's something1:33:25that I struggle with so deeply because1:33:28>> I can convince people things all day. I1:33:30can even convince myself that I'm doing1:33:31the right thing. And we're we're always1:33:33looking for these loopholes, right? Cuz1:33:34I struggle with cannabis, too.1:33:35>> And we're always like, "Oh, but it's for1:33:37this, it's for that." And or even lust1:33:38or whatever it is. And oh, but Johnny1:33:40said I could do this if I don't take it1:33:41there. We're always looking for the1:33:43loopholes. But1:33:44>> when you're in front of God,1:33:46>> you know that he knows you're full of1:33:47it. Like you can't lie to that level.1:33:49Like you can't lie to your own thoughts.1:33:51And I can convince myself that I'm doing1:33:53the right thing, but deep down and then1:33:55and then I'll do it because I've1:33:56convinced myself, but deep down I know.1:33:59>> I know. And I just I don't know if1:34:00there's a question in there, but it's1:34:02like, how do you break out of convincing1:34:04yourself so often?1:34:06>> Dude, dude, you know what it is?1:34:07Listening to his words and not yours.1:34:10>> Johnny changed my life. And he goes, he1:34:12he literally said this one time on the1:34:13phone, and I don't even think you1:34:14remember saying this, but you said, uh,1:34:15you said, "Okay, bro, but you just got1:34:17to get to a place where you believe1:34:18yours or his words." And I was like that1:34:21and that's when he broke down like not1:34:23do not lean on your own understanding1:34:25our own understanding or our own1:34:26thoughts and our feelings towards it. Um1:34:29>> I think this is what it is and I I I1:34:31look back at the grace he's given me.1:34:33Right.1:34:34>> How I treat women now very different1:34:36than how I used to when I was single and1:34:38broken. Right. So but what happened? I1:34:40didn't work for that. God truly changed1:34:43this creature of mine to look at it1:34:44differently. I didn't work. I didn't1:34:46check in. I didn't clock in hours. I1:34:48didn't practice a certain thing. I I1:34:50submitted with my mouth and I said,1:34:52"Hey, I'm a filthy rag here." Clean this1:34:54part of me out. And throughout time, it1:34:56changed. Wasn't me.1:34:58>> I think your job is to be honest with1:35:00your dad and say, "Hey, Dad, I'm really1:35:03bad with money. Hey, Dad, I'm really bad1:35:05with lust. Hey, Dad, I have anger1:35:06issues. Hey, Dad, you know what? It's1:35:08not what I say, it's how I say it. Hey,1:35:10Dad, the way I spoke about the Eucharist1:35:12thing, I felt this way, but I offended1:35:14people. Teach me." If you're coming to1:35:15him for him to do the work in you,1:35:17you're golden. But if you're coming to1:35:19him to say, "Hey, give me the tools for1:35:21me to do the work." You're cooked.1:35:24>> Yeah. 100%. And I think same thing like1:35:27it's it's all about grace at the end of1:35:29the day, right? It's like George1:35:31received a lot of grace. I could see it,1:35:33bro. Honestly, the grace on your life,1:35:34it's like, wow. It's the level ups are1:35:36are pretty wild.1:35:38>> Can I say something really funny?1:35:39>> Yeah. Yeah.1:35:39>> I walked away from that Avengers1:35:41episode. I'll never forget this, bro.1:35:42Have you ever said something where God's1:35:43like, "Pin that." [laughter] And I was1:35:45like, "Bro, I said it and I I literally1:35:48I felt it just just right here." And I1:35:49was like, "Ooh, I'm going to pay for1:35:50that later."1:35:52>> You and Relan pulled me aside, both of1:35:54you, and said, "Hey, man. [snorts]1:35:57>> Catholics are not going to like what you1:35:58said." [laughter]1:35:59>> And I said, I don't even want to say1:36:01what I said.1:36:02>> Yeah.1:36:02>> I said, "Let them come after [laughter]1:36:04me." I literally said that. I said, "Let1:36:05them come after me." I said, "I'm scared1:36:07of God, not them."1:36:09>> Yeah. [laughter]1:36:14guy was in heaven. He goes, [laughter]1:36:19>> I1:36:21I I know exactly how I'm going to handle1:36:23this guy.1:36:24>> Cook them.1:36:25>> Cook them, bro. Is it Dude, it's Dude,1:36:27listen. You cash out what your mouth1:36:29says.1:36:29>> Mhm.1:36:30>> Cuz you're made in his image. And in the1:36:31beginning, he spoke things into1:36:33existence. If we're made in his image,1:36:35we'll speak things into existence. Bro,1:36:37you know how many times I see people1:36:38wanting to smoke and they don't even1:36:40know? And now I and I've been there. So1:36:42I'm like1:36:43>> this one guy came on my podcast. He's1:36:45gang Catholics. I go tread lightly, man.1:36:47[laughter] Like go tread chill lightly,1:36:49dude. Like you don't know what you're1:36:50going up against. But1:36:52>> yeah.1:36:52>> Yeah, dude. You you try to give me1:36:54warnings. But I think dude, your ears1:36:56are turned off, your eyes are turned off1:36:57until you ask God.1:36:59>> Yeah. I think also heart position too at1:37:01that point like you had mentioned, you1:37:02had to go through all of that to like1:37:04lower your heart. And it comes to that1:37:06grace aspect, right? It's like for me1:37:08too, it's it's not every time I go to1:37:10God, I'm like, "God, I need your grace."1:37:12Like, I'm studied. I'm whatever. I used1:37:14to argue with Hebrew Israelites. I used1:37:16to do all kinds of stuff. And I'm like,1:37:18all I ever did, I think the humbling1:37:20moment for me was when my pastor was1:37:22like, cuz I would write cross reference1:37:24like notes and stuff like that. This is1:37:2510 years ago, obviously. Um, I didn't1:37:27there wasn't chat GBT. There wasn't like1:37:29a lot of stuff that you could cross1:37:30reference. And so I would find verses1:37:33like in Jeremiah 31 where it literally1:37:35cross references over to like Hebrews1:37:37chapter uh 10 and I'm just like whoa.1:37:40And I would use that to argue broen1:37:44your sword1:37:44>> 100%. And I'm like dude and I would go1:37:47and pastor would I would be taking1:37:49notes. I'd be sitting in the front and1:37:50it would look like I'm super diligent1:37:52and Christlike. But he said one thing1:37:54that shattered everything by grace. He1:37:56goes, "Johnny, you're so good, you know,1:37:59at preaching the gospel. Wow, you're1:38:01amazing. And although outwardly I was1:38:03like, no, inwardly I was like, yeah,1:38:06right. Like deep down I was like, that's1:38:07right. Like, I'm finally good at1:38:09something, right? I'm I'm I'm I want to1:38:10be a good Christian. I failed in this1:38:12world, but here it is. And then he goes,1:38:14but I have a question for you. Just one1:38:16question. He said it like this. Where1:38:18are your disciples? Like, who's coming1:38:21to you to actually be discipled by you?1:38:24And that cracked me, bro. I was like,1:38:26like I I was pissed. I almost wanted to1:38:29like punch him in the face cuz I was1:38:31like, "Damn, you challenged me in a way1:38:32that I realized it was BS." He took that1:38:36cross. It was I remember it was a Dollar1:38:37Tree green like 8 by11 notebook, right?1:38:41Thick, bro. Like front to back,1:38:43completely filled. He tossed it in the1:38:45trash. And he's like I'm like, "That's1:38:47my property. You don't touch my but it1:38:49was literally like this is what's1:38:51actually keeping you in bondage is that1:38:53you're worshiping knowledge more than1:38:56you're worshiping grace."1:38:57>> Amen. Right. And so,1:38:58>> bro, bro, I had a Jordan Peterson1:39:01episode and1:39:04that moment where he was sitting there1:39:05thinking about it and I always prayed1:39:07and I said, "God, how do I get somebody1:39:09like Jordan Peterson to like, you know,1:39:11confess with his mouth?" And I rewatched1:39:13it over and over again. I don't think1:39:16you could. I don't think you could be1:39:19wise enough to understand God and accept1:39:21him.1:39:22>> I think you have to ask him for you to1:39:25know him.1:39:26>> Yes. I think it's like for something so1:39:29big and so above our understanding when1:39:32we're trying to do the math, there's too1:39:34much math that we get lost.1:39:37>> Yes.1:39:37>> And I think he overco complicated it.1:39:40>> When he should just say, "Hey, all the1:39:42evidence are pointing to you and against1:39:45you."1:39:45>> Mhm.1:39:46>> But I think you're God. I don't know1:39:48yet. I want you to reveal yourself to1:39:51me.1:39:51>> Sure. Yeah.1:39:52>> I think that is how we get a good1:39:54relationship with God. I think all of us1:39:56take the talent that God gave us and1:39:58wield it against him. Bro,1:40:00>> I think that is the worst thing that we1:40:02could do as humans.1:40:03>> God blessed me with a comedic mouth,1:40:05abilities to perform and I performed1:40:07against him.1:40:09>> Amen.1:40:09>> You were made to go preach, but all you1:40:12wanted to do is go fight your brothers1:40:13and sisters.1:40:14>> That's why when you pulled me aside and1:40:15you go, "Bro," I would read Timothy when1:40:17you said, "Don't be quarrelome." Like1:40:18you're just trying to you're just trying1:40:20to you know how they say the the the the1:40:22heart will overflow and the mouth will1:40:26will speak the abundance of the heart.1:40:27One time me and my mom were arguing.1:40:29>> I don't know if you when you get1:40:30comfortable with somebody you love, you1:40:32say some stuff, you're like, "Whoa,1:40:33bro." Like that's not me. I was just1:40:34angry. And my mom is like me, bro. She1:40:37taught me how to speak. So she knows how1:40:39to push my buttons. She's sharper than1:40:40me. She'll she'll pull it out of me and1:40:42she'll say things where I'm like, "Oh,1:40:44you want to go?" [laughter]1:40:47And I literally laid in bed and God1:40:50said, "Who do you think you are?"1:40:53>> And I said, "No, but I'm doing it for1:40:54you." He says, "You're doing it for me.1:40:56If I wanted that, at the tip of my sword1:40:58would be a thousand angels."1:41:00>> He goes, "You're far from me. You're a1:41:01son of Satan."1:41:02>> And I was like,1:41:05>> and I just realized, I go, I don't have1:41:06any enemies.1:41:08>> Satan can't do anything to me.1:41:09>> Sure.1:41:09>> These other churches and mosques and1:41:11temples, they can't do anything to me.1:41:13The only enemy that I have is myself.1:41:15>> Facts. And I just have to kill the one1:41:17enemy that God placed in front of me and1:41:18it's myself. I have to crucify what he1:41:22should have crucified. Somebody told me1:41:24the other day, they go, "Life is1:41:25unfair." And then somebody else said,1:41:28"I'm glad or it would be me on the1:41:30cross."1:41:30>> Facts, though.1:41:30>> And I was like,1:41:32>> "Yeah."1:41:33>> Like, "Oh, that is the coolest line I've1:41:35ever heard in my life."1:41:36>> Yeah.1:41:37>> Life is unfair,1:41:38>> but that's more for you than it is1:41:40against you.1:41:40>> 100%.1:41:42>> I don't know, man. I I think of it like1:41:43this, bro. like they can't throw rocks1:41:46at something that's already broken.1:41:50>> You're just you're wasting your time.1:41:52>> Mhm.1:41:52>> If you're trying to break me down, you1:41:54can't break me down more than God has1:41:56broke me down.1:41:57>> You can't. It's impossible.1:41:58>> Yeah.1:41:59>> You could try.1:42:00>> And you here's the best thing. God may1:42:02have used you to break me.1:42:04>> True.1:42:05>> But that's not off of your work. That's1:42:06off of his1:42:07>> facts. So if there's something that's1:42:09like1:42:11going wrong, bro, like before I used to1:42:13try to figure it out, solve the problem,1:42:16>> be the savior of it.1:42:18>> And just one thing just changed my life.1:42:20You're the sewer, not the savior.1:42:22>> Yeah.1:42:22>> If it doesn't grow, it's because his1:42:24mouth said it's not going to grow.1:42:26>> He knows the number on my head. So why1:42:29am I trying to pull out my hair trying1:42:30to figure everything out?1:42:32>> Doesn't make sense to me.1:42:33>> If [clears throat] I don't know it is1:42:34because he didn't authorize me to know1:42:36it yet.1:42:36>> Sure. The same way the disciples are1:42:38like, "Yo, my mans, why are you talking1:42:39to me in code?"1:42:40>> But then you talk to us like we're1:42:42homies, but to them, we have to break it1:42:43down with a mathematical equation. Why1:42:45don't you speak to us like this and to1:42:48them like that? And he goes, "Yeah,1:42:49because you've been given access.1:42:52>> You know, because I want you to know1:42:54>> the same way that when they were putting1:42:55him on the cross, he goes, "You only1:42:56have this power because my father let it1:42:57happen."1:42:59>> Once we we were born in a world like we1:43:01have to assume control and dominate.1:43:03>> Yeah. We're not. There's nothing you're1:43:05going to do that's going to put you in1:43:06control.1:43:07>> Yeah.1:43:07>> And if you think that, Satan's having a1:43:09great laugh with you.1:43:10>> Yeah.1:43:11>> And we'll talk together in 10 years from1:43:12now.1:43:13>> Yeah.1:43:13>> We'll see where it goes.1:43:15>> No, it comes down to acceptance like he1:43:17was saying, right? And so, like1:43:19understanding, I was the same way, bro.1:43:20Big brain. Like, no, but it has to make1:43:22sense. Like, why is this? Why is that?1:43:23And people get caught up in that where1:43:25it where where I changed was like, man,1:43:28I don't get it all. But that's where1:43:29faith comes in. Like, if I understood1:43:31everything, it wouldn't be faith. It1:43:33would be confirmation like I could1:43:34believe I think anybody would believe1:43:36God if everything made sense to them1:43:38like oh I get why you're doing that God1:43:39then then there is no love it's again1:43:41transactional so to to see that too cuz1:43:44dude I I just remember George having1:43:46conversations with them and I was like1:43:48bro is super big brain like he's like1:43:50okay [laughter] but what about this1:43:51though but okay I get what you're saying1:43:52but what about and I'm just like dang1:43:54and I I [clears throat] I told you that1:43:55I was like yo you you got to get to this1:43:57position where it's just like accepting1:43:59>> and you're like for sure and then God1:44:02did it dude You know how freeing that1:44:03is? Before I was like, "Catholics are1:44:05wrong. This is why they're wrong."1:44:07>> I didn't even come in wanting to listen1:44:08to them. I was like, "You're wrong.1:44:09You're stupid head. Come here."1:44:11[laughter] And they're like, "Dude, what1:44:12about our forefathers?" I was like,1:44:13"They don't know anything. Let me tell1:44:15you guys something." And it's just like,1:44:16even when you hear that out loud, you're1:44:17like, "Dude, you're stupid. Stop1:44:18talking." You know what I mean? And so1:44:20now when I come to the table, I'm not1:44:22coming to them to change their mind. I'm1:44:24actually coming to listen to see what's1:44:25going on. And when I'm sitting there1:44:26listening to Here's the thing, bro. A1:44:29lot of people know when you're listening1:44:30or when you're trying to wait until1:44:32you're speaking of course. So, how could1:44:34Catholic and Orthodox respect me when1:44:35that's all I'm giving them.1:44:37>> That's all I'm giving them. I'm not1:44:38listening to them. I'm not trying to1:44:39give them a time of day.1:44:40>> So, why would they give me the time a1:44:41day? They're not. They're sitting there1:44:42trying to And by the way, like there was1:44:44a time where I was just sitting there1:44:45watching debates and I'm like, "Good.1:44:46I'm putting that in my pocket."1:44:47[laughter] You know what I mean? Like,1:44:48and I was sitting there and now I'm just1:44:49like super free. Now, if I sit with the1:44:51Catholic man and he's like, "No, you're1:44:53wrong. This is why." And he unlocks my1:44:54brain. Oh, bro. I'm getting rebaptized.1:44:56I'm going to the Catholic church. I'm1:44:57going to call Johnny. I'm like, "Johnny,1:44:59you're wrong. You [laughter] you heretic1:45:01human being. You better come." And then1:45:02I'm going to gather all my friends and1:45:03I'm going to do the same thing that I'm1:45:05doing now, but in a different position.1:45:06So, in my brain, it's like, why am I1:45:08even trying to act like I know1:45:09everything when I don't.1:45:10>> But I could just in front of God, I'm1:45:12like, "Hey, God, I've entered a new1:45:14level of religious when people are1:45:15trying to understand things. So, hey,1:45:17just just give me grace here. Like, if I1:45:19don't know," and I tell people this all1:45:21the time. There's dude dude, there was1:45:23this Catholic kid that came up to me and1:45:25we're at the baggage claim. I don't like1:45:27meeting people at the airport because1:45:28for some reason, bro, every time I meet1:45:30somebody at the airport, they're like1:45:31baldled up in emotion and I have to sit1:45:33there with them for like an hour and I'm1:45:34like, [laughter] I don't want to do it,1:45:35bro. I don't want to do I hate the1:45:37airport, bro. And so, and so I'm sitting1:45:40there and this one guy pulled out a book1:45:42and a rosary and he's sitting there and1:45:44we debated for not exaggerating, two1:45:46hours.1:45:47>> Oh my god.1:45:48>> By the way, I watch Oh, bro. Well, is1:45:50me.1:45:52>> She's looking at me like this.1:45:53[laughter]1:45:55And I said something to him at the end1:45:58of it and I felt really good about it1:46:00and I was like, "Oh, this is where our1:46:01hearts should be." I said, "Hey, bro. At1:46:03the end of the day, dude, I believe that1:46:05you and I, I pray, that are going to be1:46:07in the presence of God and we'll be two1:46:09stupid brothers that just disagreed on1:46:11how to worship God." I go, "When you go1:46:12home tonight and you talk to your1:46:14father, ask him about me. Beg him about1:46:17me. That if I'm dumb and I can't see,1:46:19have him open my eyes."1:46:20>> Yeah.1:46:20>> And listen, I'm going to do the same for1:46:22you. I go, I'm gonna go to my dad and be1:46:24like, "Hey, dad, I think this is what's1:46:25going on. If I'm wrong, open up my eyes.1:46:27And if he's wrong, open up his eyes.1:46:29Then we're good. Y1:46:30>> then we're chilling. I'm not trying to1:46:32stab you and you're not trying to stab1:46:33me." And then guess what? Now we could1:46:34go talk to Muslim brothers. Now we can1:46:36go talk to Jewish brothers. Now we could1:46:38go talk to Mormon brothers or anybody1:46:39that's outside of what we think is1:46:41Christ.1:46:41>> Sure.1:46:42>> Instead of fighting against each other.1:46:44This country is divided [clears throat]1:46:45and it's not going to stand if it keeps1:46:47becoming divided. And God literally told1:46:49me, he goes, "You're trying to heal the1:46:50Christian world, but you were the1:46:51biggest tool in 2024 to divide1:46:54everybody.1:46:55>> You divided everybody. My one podcast1:46:57had millions of views, and it was for1:47:00the bad reasons. It wasn't for good1:47:01reasons.1:47:02>> It's just a perspective thing, bro. I1:47:03think I just got to learn at the heights1:47:05that I'm at.1:47:06>> But falling up here sucks.1:47:08>> For sure.1:47:08>> It's a big jump, dude.1:47:10>> I'm just curious. I'm sure you've seen1:47:12it, but did you see the Drew Ski skit?"1:47:14>> Yeah. Hilarious.1:47:15>> Yeah. So, what do you what do you think1:47:16of that? I didn't like when he said I1:47:17impregnated her with the word of God. I1:47:19think there's just a holy spirit in me1:47:21where it's like my mom raised me. You1:47:22don't play around with like God like1:47:24that. Um I'm not Catholic anymore,1:47:27>> but I don't put the gospel on the1:47:29ground. I know people are uncomfortable1:47:30with that. Rossaries to me should be in1:47:32high places. Uh even if it's a false1:47:34picture of God, it's like let's show it1:47:36respect if it's emulating like some1:47:39emulating something like that. So I1:47:40still have my Orthodox roots where I'm1:47:42like let's not be stupid with things,1:47:44right? You know what I mean? Like some1:47:46people aren't really comfortable playing1:47:47with it. But it's like, bro, if I had a1:47:48picture of your mom and I threw it on1:47:49the ground and I stepped on it, you'd1:47:51beat my ass [laughter] and that's your1:47:52mother, but this is our creator. So when1:47:55we use something like the word, when I'm1:47:57wise enough to know that the word is God1:48:00and he says something like, "I1:48:01impregnated with the word of God."1:48:03Funny. I get it. I understand where1:48:05you're going. And I think that joke1:48:06needs to be said because Michael Todd is1:48:09out here doing crazy things. Mhm.1:48:11>> I I like I'll sit down and have a1:48:13conversation with him, but sometimes I1:48:15watch things from him, I'm like, "Nice."1:48:16And sometimes I'm like, "My man, where1:48:18we at with this?" You know what I mean?1:48:19Like, "Are you a rapper or are you a1:48:21preacher, dude?" Like, [laughter] so I1:48:22get why Drew's making these type of1:48:24comments and it should I think jokes put1:48:26people back in their place to remember1:48:28things. But I think there's a line that1:48:30we have to have and it's like, "Bro, we1:48:32got to show respect. We can't be can't1:48:35be sliding on God's name like that."1:48:37Anybody talked about my dad, my earthly1:48:38dad, that way? It's on site. I'm putting1:48:40you in critical condition. And if I1:48:42can't put you in critical condition, I'm1:48:43calling Johnny. [laughter] And Johnny1:48:46has some old friends. And they haven't1:48:48given their life to Christ yet.1:48:50>> So I think that there's, you know, man,1:48:52I I I here's what I think. I think with1:48:55the wicked and with the righteous, I1:48:57think we could learn from both of them.1:48:59I think we could learn what not to do1:49:00and what we could do.1:49:01>> 100%.1:49:02>> And if you throw away your judgment1:49:03heart, dude, you'll be free, bro.1:49:05>> Yeah.1:49:05>> That's why God says, "Don't judge or you1:49:07won't be judged." And I don't even think1:49:08that's based off of him. I think people1:49:10that judge and me1:49:14by the way that man did I piss off1:49:17people that I called us the Avengers.1:49:18>> I know, bro. I was going to say that.1:49:20>> Dude, they were mad.1:49:21>> They were mad.1:49:23>> He's not even an Asian Avenger. Which1:49:24one would he be?1:49:26>> Frog. My goodness. Hey, but dude, dude.1:49:29Dude, so funny watching people get mad1:49:31at him for that. [laughter]1:49:32It's so funny, dude.1:49:33>> Not even like Dude, you're like DC than1:49:36they are Avengers. And I'm like, jeez1:49:38Louise, man. Relax. [laughter]1:49:41>> Relax, dude.1:49:42>> Oh my gosh.1:49:43>> But I I also had a judgment heart,1:49:46right? And I was very judgmental.1:49:48[laughter] And through that, God made me1:49:50judge myself. So when I I looked in the1:49:52mirror, I hated the people that were1:49:53priests and I hated myself. And so I1:49:55just went back and forth with this1:49:56hatred. And now I'm just like, yo, God1:49:58gave me a lot of grace, God of love. And1:50:00so I'm going to give it and I'm going to1:50:01walk with obedience as best as I can.1:50:03It's not based off my salvation, but I'm1:50:05trying to show my neighbors my fruit so1:50:07that way they can know Jesus. And1:50:09through this, I think God is going to be1:50:12what he said. And he said, I'm going to1:50:13seal this with the Holy Spirit seal, and1:50:15what is started will be finished. Not1:50:17because George is a great man, but1:50:19because George has a great God.1:50:22>> And from there, that's where my posture1:50:23is at.1:50:24>> George, we usually close out in a1:50:25prayer. Can you please?1:50:27>> Yeah. Yeah. Please. Please, Lord, help1:50:29me pray. Uh, I see a lot of people pray1:50:32online and sometimes I see people pray1:50:34with their own egos and they want to say1:50:36the right thing, but I just pray that1:50:38you take hold of my mouth1:50:40>> and that you help me say the right1:50:42thing. So, first of all, I pray in the1:50:44name of the father and the son and the1:50:46holy spirit and I pray over this1:50:48country. I I ask1:50:53for forgiveness for things that you've1:50:56already forgiven, but I pray that you1:50:59forgive this country for being divided.1:51:01I'm sorry that I divided the Catholics1:51:04and the Orthodox and uh any type of1:51:07groups of Christians. I pray that that1:51:08there's real healing above our1:51:11understanding. I pray that that the Holy1:51:13Spirit unites the church. I pray that1:51:16brothers and sisters come together to1:51:17share the word of God instead of ripping1:51:19each other down. I pray that this year1:51:23there will be abundance abundance1:51:25abundance of men and women getting1:51:28baptized in the name of the father, son,1:51:30and the holy spirit. I pray that this1:51:32generation turns away from their1:51:33wickedness. I pray that there's holiness1:51:36that is poured from the skies of heaven1:51:39onto the United States and we bring this1:51:41country back to fearing the Lord the way1:51:43that it should have been. I pray that1:51:45that there's love in our hearts and that1:51:48there's enough grace to go around. And I1:51:51thank you, God, for another day on this1:51:53earth. And I pray that whoever hears1:51:56this message, even if we said something1:51:58wrong against the word of God or right1:52:00for the word of God, I pray that the1:52:02Holy Spirit guides not only us but1:52:04anybody who's listening into the right1:52:06direction. And Lord, I just want to1:52:08thank you. I I think that there's so1:52:11much to be thankful for. But the one1:52:13thing that I want to thank you for is1:52:16that you sent your only son to die for1:52:18our sins. That whoever shall believe1:52:21shall have eternal life. And I pray that1:52:24this year that there's more believers in1:52:26America than ever been before. In the1:52:29name of Jesus, I ask. And the scripture1:52:30says that if you ask and you have a1:52:32faithful heart. Uh so Lord, I pray that1:52:34you make me have a faithful heart cuz I1:52:36am a weak man and I don't have a1:52:37faithful heart. So I pray that you give1:52:39me a faithful heart. And anyone who's1:52:41listening that has a weak faith in their1:52:43heart, I pray that you fill it with the1:52:45Holy Spirit that is so faithful that1:52:48they could look at anything that's dead1:52:50in their life and they could command it1:52:52to come back to life. In the name of the1:52:54Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. So1:52:55thank you Jesus for this conversation1:52:57and thank you Lord for this prayer. In1:52:59your name I pray. Amen.1:53:00>> Amen.1:53:01>> Amen. Amen.1:53:02>> George Jeno, where can people find you?1:53:05>> They don't need to. They find Jesus.1:53:06You're good.1:53:07>> Okay. [laughter]1:53:08That's fire.1:53:09>> Amen. Amen.1:53:10>> Leave a like. Leave a comment.
