These0:09episodes are audio only. So, thanks for0:10listening. And you can join my Discord0:12to catch the next Discord stage live.0:14Link in the description. Um, can someone0:17help me find out if cremation is not0:19what God intended for us when we pass0:21on? I think I remember Johnny mentioning0:22it in one of his videos, but I don't0:24remember what he said about it. Is0:26burial the only way or is cremation an0:28okay option? Can I ask why this matters?0:32I mean, I'll answer it. I just want to0:33know why. It seems like this thing is0:36kind of like when I hear you speaking0:39about it um and asking this question, it0:42seems like it's plaguing you. Like the0:45the number one thing we have to focus on0:47is the gospel, right? If you think about0:49it just from God's heart posture, he's0:52probably not going to really care about0:54what you do with a body in terms of0:57right um those types of things. But uh1:01yeah, I mean I I I think at the end of1:05the day um cremation is not something1:07that's forbidden by God. Nowhere in the1:09Bible does it say that. And you know1:12he's like let the dead bury the dead. I1:14mean that's probably the closest thing1:16where you can say that. Maybe it's a1:17mandatory like a mandate to bury. Um but1:22uh at the end of the day, right, it's1:25it's just because something is1:27describing something like Jesus was1:29buried the uh a lot of the you know, Old1:33Testament leaders were buried. Um but1:36you know, right, it's like and then you1:39know, you get the scriptures, you know,1:40from Genesis 3:19, from dust thou art1:43and dust thou shalt return. And right1:45dust means burial and right. So either1:50way though if you think about it um the1:52word for dust like when he created us1:55out of dirt is afar which literally1:57means ash. So I would say if you cremate2:03yourself you're just turning back to ash2:05quicker um which is dust quicker. So I2:09don't think it's really a big problem.2:12Uh if that was the case then there was a2:14lot of people who were burned alive and2:18they should probably not go to heaven if2:19that's the case. There were some people2:21who were you know thrown [snorts] into2:22the ocean. There were some people who2:24were eaten by animals. Um you know if2:28that's the case they would not be able2:31to get to heaven then solely because of2:33that. Right. And so it's kind of um you2:38know, I don't know. It's just it's just2:40kind of what it comes down to, right? We2:42have to focus more on the gospel. Um2:46because the resurrection is going to2:48give us a newer body, like an upgraded2:50body, but you're not raised from the2:51grave because your body was preserved.2:53You're raised because Jesus Christ2:55overcame. So, as long as we understand2:58that and we overcome with that3:02mentality, then everything really isn't3:04an issue. Uh, we should focus more on3:06the gospel, right? Amen. Hope you're3:09feeling better. Thank you. Good morning.3:11Good morning, everyone. Good afternoon3:12for those. Um, so funny to me when3:16people start talking so much about their3:17graves and what should they look like?3:19Why would I care if I'm right? 100%.3:22These files started getting released are3:24unsettling. Even knowing Jesus be Satan,3:27uh, it still puts fear in me and my3:29family. Yeah. Well, fear is not from3:31God. So, that's that's exactly what3:34they're intended to do, right? These3:36Epstein files and they're they're3:37they're there to put fear in in in3:40people. But the issue here is who's3:43stronger, right? It's it's not it's3:45[snorts] not a matter of like, oh,3:47should I be afraid of it? You're afraid3:49of it because number one, you think that3:52it can affect you in some kind of way.3:54And I think that only happens when you3:56question God, right? Like when you're3:58questioning God, um, you know, it's very4:04typical to feel that way. Well, if God4:06is good, why does he allow people like,4:08you know, this Epstein guy to be alive?4:11Why does he allow all this hatred and4:13whatever? So really, what we're asking4:15is not, is it going to affect me? It's4:18more of like, will God let this affect4:20me, right? and he and if he's letting4:22this happen to other people, what about4:24me and my family? It's like that again,4:27those are things that Satan pieces4:28together in our brains, right? It's just4:32kind of what it comes down to at the end4:34of the day, right? So, we we don't we4:36don't live by fear, we live by faith,4:38different S's, right? And that's what it4:40comes down to at the end of the day. We4:42don't have to fear those things. God4:44will protect us from those things. And4:46anything that happened even to those4:47families, God will also utilize for the4:50greater good. Um, [clears throat] and4:52it's just something that God has to4:54allow um, in order to use and shape4:57people, right? Pastor, what if I want to5:00crash out and go off on people? I feel5:02if I crash out, it says more about me to5:04be honest. But at times I feel I can see5:07their intentions and it pisses me off.5:08Well, it shouldn't piss you off. It5:10should make you realize that you're the5:11same as them, right? Like when people,5:14you know, start to learn a little bit5:17about reading the heart posture, you5:18start to see a lot. You start to see how5:20manipulative people truly are. You start5:22to see how much they only care about5:25themselves. However, we're we're like5:26that, too, in front of God. So, what5:29levels the playing field is not crashing5:32out like that, but is to go, "Oh, I'm5:35like that in front of God. Yes, they're5:37doing this to me, and I probably don't5:39do this to other people, but I do do5:40this to God." And that then makes you5:42kind of have a little bit more empathy5:44for them. It's just what it is at the5:46end of the day, right? So, it's kind of5:50important to realize why um you know, we5:54feel that way. It's probably because5:56there's a there's a heart of a little5:57bit of like pride and a little bit of5:59misunderstanding,6:01right? Um and that's just kind of what6:04it comes down to at the end of the day,6:06right? Uh good morning, pastor. Is there6:09a biblical reason as to why Jesus has6:11yet to come call his servants? Is it6:13because he's waiting to collect more6:14followers? I mean, on a surface level,6:16you can say that, but he hasn't returned6:18yet because he's patient. He's not6:20absent. He's patient, right? He's6:22delaying it because he has mercy. When6:24you look at 2 Peter 3:9,6:27right? He doesn't will anybody to perish6:30that everyone should come to repentance.6:32You know, God is long-suffering. He6:33suffers a very long time, right? And God6:36wants us to, you know, um, he wants us6:41to show that to to come to the6:43knowledge, I'm sorry, and to show his6:45grace. He's intentionally giving us6:47grace by delaying it intentionally as6:49well, right? God is delaying to gather6:52people, not to just like punish us and,6:56you know, let us go through these6:57things. So the bigger question is not7:00why is God not coming back because I'm7:03so, you know, sick of this life. The7:06bigger question is why are you sick of7:07this life if God gave it to you? And why7:10are we why would we question God, right?7:12It's like he's extending his mercy,7:16right? And it has to do with his will.7:19He is a merciful God. So he will wait7:21for people. If he did not extend his7:24mercy, right? What's going to happen to7:27them? Then your family members, your7:30kids, whoever, they're all going to7:32burn, right? The ones who aren't saved.7:34And so it's very very beautiful, right?7:37Amen. So yeah, kind of what it comes7:41down to at the end of the day, right?7:44Amen. So yeah, I saw a clip that you7:47posted on your channel talking about how7:48Genesis 4:7 personifies sin. This is7:51about to get into a big brain question.7:52I can already tell. So, you know, I'm7:55just going to read it, but I I'm just7:57checking the heart here. You're saying7:58every time sin is personified, it's8:00talking about Satan, but like Satan8:02can't be everywhere. So a lot of the8:03temptation is our flesh and our nature8:05and what we think. I think I must be8:08misunderstanding you wrong. Yeah, 100%.8:10Again, you're shifting into the mode uh8:12of trying to understand everything that8:14I'm saying literally. When something,8:17for example, you're an American, right?8:20Or I'm an American, let's say. How are8:23we Americans? How are we Americans?8:26Because we are, you know, represented by8:29America, right? we represent America. So8:32when when for example8:35um I didn't vote for, you know,8:38President Trump to bomb Venezuela,8:40right? But he did. But that represents8:43all of us bombing Venezuela because8:45we're American whether we agree or not.8:47If we're in this country and we8:48represent that we may not agree with it,8:51but you know, we catch the beef for8:53that. Same thing when LeBron James and8:55them win a gold medal. Why do we cheer8:58and be like, "Wow, we won a gold we won9:00a gold medal. you didn't do anything.9:01You didn't even ride the bench because9:03there's a representation,9:05right? So, the issue here is not, you9:09know, um trying to make it make sense.9:11It's just simple. Satan is a9:14representative of all the demons. That's9:16why he says personified just like Adam9:19represented all man. I didn't sin when I9:21was born, but because Adam sinned, it9:24transferred down to me. Right? And I9:26didn't become righteous because I did9:28anything. Jesus, right? It's a9:30substitution representative. He's our9:32representative.9:33Right? And so in the same way, um I'm9:36not saying Satan is omnisient. That that9:39this brain thinking is like, well, you9:42are because he's it's like, no, I'm not9:44again, right? It's he's not omnisient.9:46He's not omnipotent. He doesn't know9:48everything all the time. He's not9:50everywhere all the time. And if you've9:51listened to me long enough, you would9:52know that I say he's a he studies9:54behavior. He studied humanity for9:56thousands and thousands and thousands of9:58years. He knows what's going to make a10:00person crack. He knows, oh, this10:02person's going to have this type of10:03stuff. He knows how you re like he10:05watches and and his demons report back10:07to him, right? Essentially. So, in the10:10same way, we have angels. Nowhere does10:11it say that the angels report back to10:13God. But we know that though, right? At10:16the end of the day, right? We know that10:17they're under his will. We know that10:19there's Archangel Michael. We know that10:21there's multiple different angels,10:23right, that protect the throne and stuff10:25like that, right? So what what happens10:27here is if you slip back into your big10:30brain again, right? The the the scary10:33thing is it becomes very questionable10:35again. Well, he's saying this and I10:37agree with it. And it'll become like how10:39you used to be, right? Where it's like,10:41ah, I don't know about that, bro. Like I10:43don't like but you don't know about10:44anything. That's what we have to humble10:46down to. That's neither any of us are10:48this way, right? Guys, again, remember10:51what I said. We have to listen not to10:54interpret or to assume. We have to10:56listen to understand. Make sense? Right?10:59And so it it comes down to this, right?11:02Satan through his connections, through11:05his demons, because think about it. You11:08know, if a third of heaven fell with11:10him, I don't know the exact number, but11:12I can assume that there's probably11:15billions of demons. Why? Because if11:18heaven is filled with angels, right? And11:22they say each, you know, an angel is11:24assigned to you. Let's go off of that,11:25which which is not biblical, but let's11:27say if an angel is assigned to a person,11:30then that must mean a demon is also11:31assigned to another person, right? It's11:34got to be. It's got to be because at the11:36end of the day, like how would Satan11:38know everything? And to be honest, he11:40doesn't have to know everything. He just11:42has to know that if I set up this place,11:45it's a set it and forget it system. If I11:47put a place where there's temptation and11:48there's lust and there's Instagram and11:50there's all this, all I need to do is do11:53this and they'll probably just fall,11:56right? Make sense? It's kind of what it11:59comes down to at the end of the day,12:01right? So, it's just it's really again12:04up to God, right? It's it's it's what12:07God is going to allow is going to, you12:11know, determine um how Satan works12:14because remember, he's on a leash. So if12:17he allows us to, you know, sin, which he12:20has to allow, by the way, he has to12:21allow everything, um, then we're going12:23to sin. But if he does that to then12:26utilize a sin to then teach us12:27something, he'll allow that, too, right?12:29So God will show mercy on who he shows12:31mercy on. And God will give grace and12:34and, you know, he will condemn who he12:35condemns. It's just kind of what it12:37comes down to at the end of the day. But12:39if we take every single thing like and12:41piece it and piece it and rip it apart,12:44it's not really going to do anything.12:45it's actually going to cause us to12:46spiral again and get into the rabbit12:48holes. So, the reason why we always do12:50that is because we're okay again. The12:52thing about us that's really pitiful12:54about human beings is that one minute we12:56can feel so strongly about something and12:58the next minute we can completely shift.13:00We can crash out and we can flip. And13:02that's the thing we have to realize13:04about ourselves is that we're really13:05pathetic in that way where we get13:08frustrated but then we like love but13:10then we get frustrated again, right?13:12It's this constant uphill battle13:13basically. And that's why God is13:15allowing this for what? So that we can13:17change. So sin is personified as him. He13:20layeth at your door and to his desire13:23you will do. Right? And so in this way13:25he also repeats it in John 8:44. Right?13:28The lust of your father ye shall do13:30because he was a liar from the13:32beginning. Right? And the father of it,13:34right? So it's very very clear. All13:37right? How should we as followers of13:40Christ react to the fact that our elites13:42are all ball worshiping cannibalistic13:43pedophiles sitting idly by waiting for13:46the elite to arrest the elite seems wild13:48to me. So what do you want to do? The13:50the the question here is right, what can13:52you do? Right? Think about it. It's13:55prophesied in the Bible. All these13:57things that are happening should not13:59scare you. Right? Understand what I'm14:02saying? It's just how it is. Why?14:05Because that's what happens with human14:06beings when they're allowed free reign,14:08right? And God is waiting every single14:10day through the mercy for them to come14:13back. The only issue is we think we're14:15better than them. That's the only issue.14:18The problem here is, oh, I'm not like14:20them. Yeah, but you worship B.14:23Understand what I'm saying, right? You14:24may not be cannibalistic, but you14:26consume your flesh every single day in14:29just another way. You know, this14:31mindset, right? We have to really level14:33set a little bit. Who are we? We're14:36nothing, right? And then the next14:38thought that always comes is, so then14:40what? Just let them do what they want. I14:42mean, what can you genuinely do? They14:44have more money than you. They have more14:46power than you. There's a reason why14:48they're called the elite. There's14:50nothing you can do, right? And that's14:53why God is saying, "Move out the way.14:55I'm going to do it all." Remember,14:57vengeance is not yours. It's mine.14:59That's what God is saying. Amen. So in15:02this way, right, God is actually15:05allowing this to show us, hey, I got it15:07under control. In fact, it's just as bad15:11to think we're not like them. In a15:13spiritual sense and in in a fleshly15:15sense, we are like them. [snorts] We may15:17not act it out, but in our fleshful15:20desire and nature, we have that. I'm not15:23saying you guys are pedophiles. I'm15:25saying that our heart, a pedophile is a15:28sinner. It's a symptom of the sin which15:31is the original sin. Understand?15:32Pedophilia comes from sin and we all15:36have sin. That's what I'm trying to say.15:38And we all need Jesus. Now if these15:40people genuinely these elitist, you15:43know, 1enters, 0.1enters,15:46if they met Jesus truly, they can change15:50too. But the issue is we don't believe15:53that. We think they're indulging in sin15:55and we're not indulging in sin. And15:57somehow that separates us. It does not16:00respectfully. It does not understand16:03what I'm saying. We have to step out16:05from this high, you know, pole of I'm16:08I'm so good. I would never do something16:11like that. You're only not doing those16:13things respectfully because Jesus held16:16on to you and he gave you the grace and16:17the mercy to know him. Understand,16:20right? But they essentially have no16:23laws. That's why they do whatever they16:26want to do. Now, if I didn't have any16:28laws, I would do whatever I wanted to16:30do. Trust Trust me. Trust me. I don't16:32know about y'all, but if I'm being16:34honest, anybody who came against me,16:36they're dead.16:38I would I'm I'm Chinese. We know a lot16:41about communism. You talk The thing16:43about America is that we can still even16:44talk about the government. You go to16:46China, you try to talk about You go to16:47Russia, you try to talk about the16:48government, you're dead. You disappear.16:51Understand? America is freedom of16:54speech. Nowhere else is there truly16:55freedom of speech. America, you can post16:57Reddits, you can talk trash, you can16:59stand outside and have a bullhorn and17:02scream obscenities outside of a church,17:04outside of the White House, outside of17:05wherever, right? And if it's really that17:08bad, they might make you disappear. But17:10for the most part, you can't even get to17:12that position in China. People are17:14locking people up. They're throwing away17:16the key. They're killing you. They're17:18putting a bullet to your head. They're17:19chopping off your head. They're hanging17:21you. It's crazy. And for saying your17:24opinion, right, for saying even the17:27truth. Whistleblowers get silenced,17:30right? They people who try to talk about17:32CO disappeared until it just couldn't17:35they couldn't contain it anymore and it17:36was just killing everybody. Then they17:38were like, "Okay, we got to chill." But17:40it's like at the end of the day, right?17:43It it's all inside of us. You think you17:45would reason with your enemies? If it17:47was up to me, I would castrate everybody17:49who's a who who touches little boys and17:51little girls. I would kill them. That's17:54that's me. But I I know that that's17:57evil. God says vengeance is mine. I'm17:59like, "No, I'm cool. Let me help you18:00out. God [snorts] understand. Look at I18:02can't I came from level four, level18:03threes, y'all. That we that's a no no.18:07You don't do stuff like that, right?"18:08But at the end of the day, I also had to18:10break my heart in front of God and go,18:11"Who am I?" You know, I'm I'm not18:14falling into that. Obviously, thank God.18:16But at the same time, I know that that18:19stems from sin, original sin, which is18:21corruption. When you have so much money,18:23I met a lot of people who have crazy18:25money. I've rub elbows with millionaires18:27and even some billionaires. I know these18:29people. There is something about18:31dopamine and serotonin that no longer,18:34you know, uh um it no longer, I guess,18:39does it for you. So, that's why they do18:40all this weird stuff is because they're18:43cursed in a way. The more money you18:45have, the more pleasure you have, the18:47more pleasure you have, you start to18:48build tolerance, right? I could see it.18:51Anyone can understand this from even a18:53social level, right? Even remove God out18:56of it. Spiritual spirituality out of it,18:58right? You don't play with the same toys19:00that you do at 5 years old that you do19:02at, you know, 15 or 20, right? You don't19:05even play with toys anymore. Your toys19:06now are like cars and Right. So, there's19:09this thing of desire that continuously19:11grows with no braking system. And I19:13genuinely feel bad for these people cuz19:14not only are they going to burn in hell19:16cuz they are right. But they are not19:19even going to sense what God is. They're19:22so far gone from pleasure, their19:25receptors are fried literally. There's19:27nothing they can do to really step out19:30of that. I've seen a lot of people who19:32have hell of money do stuff like this.19:34And I'm like, "What the heck is wrong19:35with y'all?" But it's only because I19:37never had money like that. So I cannot19:39understand them. And none of us19:40genuinely can. You understand what I'm19:43saying, right? They they they make19:45millions of dollars a month. Like when19:47you have that type of money and you have19:48private jet money, you could do whatever19:50you want. Trust me, guys, right? It19:53there's a lot of temptation and there's19:55ways that you you will you will discover19:57about yourself that you have to like19:58numb yourself. I mentored a millionaire,20:01right? He makes like um I think close to20:0420 million a month. I'm sorry, 2020:06million a year, right? So that's a20:08that's a lot of money. That's almost 220:10million a month. and he's severely20:12depressed and he's on all types of20:14things. He's on Prozac, which is uh20:18anti-depressant. He takes Xanis to go to20:20sleep. He he takes things to wake him20:22up. He's literally but he's making20:25millions of dollars. Do you understand?20:27And I mentor him still once a week,20:30right? Sometimes I have to put it off20:31cuz I'm, you know, whatever. But20:33[snorts] he's always depressed. He is20:36extremely empty, you know, and he does20:39all kinds of things. He goes fishing. He20:42does yoga. He takes all these classes.20:45He does breath work. He went to on20:47Iawaska trips for a month straight. He20:49went to Peru. He did all these things.20:52He went to the Maldes. He does20:54everywhere. He does everything.20:55Searching high and low. High and low.20:58Understand? Right. And he's trying to21:00find the thing that fills his heart. You21:03know that is a curse. I don't want $2021:06million if that's the case.21:07Respectfully, I don't want any amount of21:10money. that's going to make me search21:11high and low and go away from God.21:13Rather, I'd rather be dead broke. Being21:15broke is kind of a hack. Because when21:18you're broke and you're poor, you have a21:20limit to the things that you can do.21:22Understand? When you're rich, you could21:24do whatever you want. And that's very21:26scary. So, this is not an argument for21:28them. I'm just saying if you you have to21:30be you have to understand that human21:33beings, right, will be amplified in so21:36many ways when you give them certain21:38things. A lot of you guys would also21:40kill off your enemies, kill off certain21:42people that you don't agree with, right?21:44You understand what I'm saying? If you21:45had that power and there was no pre21:47repercussion, be you can be honest. You21:49say you won't, but trust me, they do21:51something dirty to you. They talk trash21:53to you. It's so easy to abuse power. I21:55know so many I mentor a lot of cops and21:57cops always start with the heart to21:59serve and protect and they always end up22:01corrupt. Why? Because when you give22:04power and it's unchecked like that, you22:06literally have free reign. Do you guys22:08understand what I'm saying? Right? Make22:11sense? Understand? So, that's kind of22:13what it comes down to, right? Hey, if22:15you're enjoying this episode, I have a22:17whole other video episode on all22:19platforms, YouTube, Spotify, Instagram,22:22all that every single Monday. Each22:24episode is a gospel- centered lesson22:26that you could apply to your life today.22:28So, this is more conversational. You22:30guys know my team, Jeremy and Aaron. We22:32just have a lot of fun. We joke around,22:34but we get serious. We get vulnerable.22:36It's just very, very different and it's22:39beautiful. I hope you guys can tune in22:41and we made this for you guys. So,22:42please enjoy. Johnny, how do I trust God22:45in harsh situations? I lost my job. I'm22:47broke. I have a court order soon and my22:49car is going to be taken away by bills.22:51How does God want me to trust him? By22:53showing you that everything that you22:55ever did, including trusting yourself,22:58was a result of trusting yourself.23:00Right? That's what he's trying to show23:02here, right? is every single time we23:07trusted in ourselves, how do things work23:09out? And in the same stroke, Satan is23:11trying to get you to trust yourself23:12again, right? Okay, you got to do this,23:14you got to do that. I know desperate23:15times call for desperate measures. I get23:17it. But in the same stroke, it's the23:20same Satan that tricked you to go and do23:22those things, buy the car, do all that23:24stuff, mislead your life. He's trying to23:26now also make you trust in yourself to23:28then lead your life again. He's very23:30cunning, right? understand what I'm23:33saying? He's very, very cunning. It's23:35just the way how Satan works. But23:38through this, I believe God will work. I23:40don't think God allowed you to find this23:41congregation, receive salvation, to only23:44fail. I genuinely don't think so. Now,23:46it your situation looks like that. I I I23:49it's valid. However, what you see is not23:52true either, right? Reality is not truth23:55and truth is not reality. In fact, truth23:58is the opposite of reality many times,24:00right? make sense, right? So, it's just,24:06you know, it's just how the way it is.24:09So, I believe God will work through24:10this. Even though you don't want to24:11trust God, don't trust God. But trust24:14that he's going to work though to make24:15you either trust him or give you the24:17heart to trust him or give you the heart24:19to harden like he hardened Pharaoh's24:21heart to finally let you let go of24:22whatever it is that he wants you to let24:24go of. He's going to do that. That's24:26just what it comes down to. Understand,24:29right?24:29>> [snorts]24:30>> Hey pastor, I'm very thankful and24:31grateful for the church community I have24:32found, but I find myself struggling with24:34some of the sermons. They seem to be24:35workspace. They even sent me a YouTube24:37saying sanctification is a process. I24:39just politely say thank you. But I24:41should I seek a new church up to you.24:43Sanctification, however, is not a24:44process. So, you know, it is up to you.24:47If you're there for community, great.24:49But I'm always there to to to read, you24:51know, scripture and grow in the word.24:53So, that's kind of what it comes down24:55to, right? Why do I [snorts] take things24:57so personally? Um I think it's just24:59survival right somewhere along the learn25:02along the line you learned tonality25:05matters moods matter you know words can25:08turn and you felt maybe uns unsafe and25:11you felt maybe love was was conditional25:14so you you learn right I need to read25:16the room which is not a bad thing that's25:18a good thing but then it puts you in25:20almost a permanent survival mode right25:24understand right so when you have a lot25:27of issues issues in life. Proverbs 4:23,25:30a lot of people misquote this. They say,25:31"Keep thy heart with all diligence. From25:33out of it are the issues of life." But25:35if you read it backwards, the issues of25:38life come from you keeping your heart25:40with you trying to protect your heart.25:42That's the unlock, right? Keep thy heart25:45with all diligence, for out of it are25:46the issues of life. In reverse, the25:49issues of life come from you trying to25:51protect your heart. That's what it25:53means. When you've been hurt, the heart25:55doesn't shut down. It guards you guards25:58yourself. So taking things personally is26:00because you're guarding your heart26:01trying to protect itself. But26:04understanding that in Proverbs it's26:05talking about Jesus who sits on the26:07throne of your heart, right? And he's26:10the one who has to protect it. Amen.26:12Amen. So a lot of the times our bodies26:16will react based off of something26:19someone says or something someone does.26:22So before your mind can even think, your26:25body reacts. Boom. And it will fill it26:28with either did I say something wrong?26:30Are they upset with me? Am I being26:32rejected? Do I need to protect myself26:33right now? Why did they say it like26:35that? These things come out. That's your26:37body actually reacting. Amen. Right. So26:42the only reason I would say that nine26:43times out of 10 why most of us take26:45things personally is because your worth26:48is being you know threatened. But if you26:51believe in Jesus, your worth is already26:54settled. Your identity,26:57your worth is being attacked. But worth26:59is not attacked. It's crucified. It's27:02sanctified. It's justified. You're27:04worthy because of Jesus. No matter what27:06they say. If you fall tomorrow, if I27:08fall tomorrow, it doesn't matter what27:10you guys say about me. It matters what27:11Jesus says about me. And he says, "The27:13righteous fall seven times and get back27:16up." We will fall, brothers and sisters.27:18How big of a fall? I don't know. I may27:20fall and die. I may fall into lust. I27:24may leave the congregation. Those are27:25all false. But that does not mean that27:27God didn't I I undid God's work on the27:30cross. And in the same way, you guys may27:32do micro falls, which we do every day.27:35Or you may do huge, you know, mountain27:39falls, but either way, God is always27:41working in us no matter what. Amen.27:44Right. Okay. Hello, pastor. I wanted to27:48ask for your guidance. So, I'm moving27:49back to my mom's house as an act of27:51obedience, believing God for reconciling27:54and restoration of my family. Something27:56I've been praying for. I feel anxious27:57about finances. In the past, my mom27:59often asked me for money, and it's been28:00a major point of conflict between us. At28:02times, I felt like I was treated more28:03like a financial resource than her28:05child, and that has been really painful.28:07I want to honor God and have the right28:08heart, but I want to be wise. How do I28:11discern whether I'm operating in28:12generosity versus simply enabling28:14something unhealthy? How do I know when28:16to give in in faith and when to set28:18boundaries? First and foremost,28:21you you got to understand that you're28:24going to operate however it is. Even if28:26I tell you to do something, right? We28:28need grace to even operate in that way.28:29So, number one. [snorts] Number two, I28:32think it's important to understand that28:34you should have a conversation with your28:36mom before you move back in. You should28:38tell her, "I want to restore my family.28:40I want to do you should do whatever28:42Chachi told you, J. Micah, sis." Okay.28:44All right. I know this is a Chad GBT28:47response. Okay. I see it. Right. You You28:50formulated it. Right. Next time, just28:52give me the raw. It's okay. All right. I28:54can see that. No, not not an issue. Not28:55an issue. Okay. But what I'm saying is,28:58right, you can take this and you can29:00say, talk to her about it. Everything29:02you just pointed out right now, talk to29:05her about it. Understand what I'm29:07saying? Talk to her about it. Because29:08what happens here, right, is you just29:11have to have an open heart with her. You29:12can say, "Hey, mom, I want to come back29:14because I want to have reconciliation29:16at times. Mom, you've asked me about my29:18finances, and you know, we got into it.29:20Mom, I don't want to come back and get29:22into it with you. My job is not to move29:24in here with you so that you can I can29:26just help you pay rent. My job is to29:28help you restore our res our uh29:30relationship with one another." And29:32that's all you have to do is is talk to29:34her. And if she goes, "Nope, I need you29:36to pay money, right? I need you to pay.29:39I need you're my daughter. you need then29:41you're like okay mom then I I29:43respectfully I cannot and that's your29:44answer right understand what I'm saying29:47so you can talk to her about it and and29:49she may and and again please believe I29:52already know she may switch up she may29:54say no you're my daughter of course I29:57love you but when times hit and that29:59money that money runs low and that you30:02know it's that first of the month is30:03approaching hey so uh you know you've30:06been eating here and you've been can you30:08help me out a little bit I'm not asking30:09for can you help me. It becomes this and30:11you get frustrated. I get it. But like I30:13said, you know, think of and bring that30:15in too. Hey, mom. Um, you know, there's30:19going to be times where there's30:20hardships. Please don't like I'll give30:22you what I can, right? Or have set up30:26have dialogue with her and set up30:27something that you can, you know, you30:29guys can come to an agreement upon.30:30[snorts] It's nothing too crazy. Right.30:33Right. Makes sense. Hey Johnny, I30:35recently joined a program that's30:36supposed to teach how to lead a Bible,30:39how to lead people in the gospel. They30:41recently asked me to lead a Bible study,30:42but I don't feel comfortable doing so.30:44What's your advice? Tell them that. I30:46don't feel comfortable doing so. Because30:48look, if I tell you, no, sister, move by30:51faith. No, brother, move by faith. Let's30:52say, right? Right. And then you fail,30:56then Satan is going to start speaking to30:59you. Oh, you didn't move by faith. And31:01or man, Johnny didn't know what he was31:03talking about. He should have. You31:04understand? So what I'm saying is just31:06be honest with them. You don't feel31:07comfortable doing so. That is that31:09that's what I advise you to tell them.31:11Hey, I don't feel comfortable doing it31:12yet. I think I need to study a little31:14bit more. And if they go move by faith31:16and respectfully,31:18I don't want to sit there and blame God31:20later cuz I know how what type of person31:21I am. Right? Make sense? Make sense? All31:25right. Okay. Good morning, pastor. I'm 431:28months into my walk, but why is it that31:30I feel empty, like numb or on autopilot?31:32That's normal because God is trying to31:34transition you out of feeling and31:37conditional faith to true faith, right?31:39You're probably on fire. Oh my gosh,31:41this is amazing. Wow. And that is like31:44that honeymoon phase. But over time,31:48what God wants to do is move you out of31:50that. So that what? So that you can have31:53true faith. Faith is not a feeling. It's31:56a person and it's depending on God.31:59Faith is not I feel good. that I don't32:01feel numb anymore. Now I'm with you.32:03Because that that becomes transactional.32:05Many people follow God because they32:07transactionally follow him. They admire32:08him because he works for their life. And32:11of course he should work in our life and32:13work for our lives. Absolutely. But what32:15they fail to realize is we have to trust32:18him with all things even when we don't32:20feel anything. So it's a very normal32:23thing. I'm actually glad that he's doing32:25that. Why? To transition you into having32:27true faith. Right? A lot of people feel32:30the same and they felt the same. They32:32did the same thing. They sat there and32:36you know did all these things and felt32:39on fire and prayed more and w read the32:41Bible and later it becomes bland. It's32:43not cuz the Bible changed. It's not cuz32:44the message changed. It's because our32:46hearts change. You know feelings and32:49intensity and and discipline is not what32:52sustains your relationship with God.32:54What stains your relationship with God32:57is even when you don't feel anything,32:59you still trust in God. So truth and33:02trust is what it is. So God says be33:05thankful. Amen. Right. But that's kind33:08of what it comes down to the end of the33:10day. Right. Amen. Hey Johnny, in the33:14Bible it talks about once saved always33:15saved. But also talks about God chooses33:17who goes to heaven and who doesn't. For33:19example, Judas was doomed before he was33:20born. Right? That's how I've been33:22taught. No, that's not correct. Judas33:24chose because if you look in33:25Revelations, there are 12 thrones. One33:28of them is empty. So why would he choose33:30why would he make a throne if he chose33:32he wouldn't make that throne? He would33:33make 11 thrones,33:35right? So no, no, no. That was taught33:38incorrectly. Right. And right there, um,33:41yeah, you answered it correctly. The33:43devil puts doubt in your mind. How can33:45God be a sovereign and loving God if he33:47chooses who goes to heaven or hell? We33:50didn't have a choice to become sinners.33:51We were born that way. So how can we33:53right it's like it doesn't make sense33:55just like we didn't choose to get to get33:57go to hell we didn't choose to get to33:59heaven either right it was all ordained34:01by God through Jesus he actually on the34:03contrary to that belief he chose34:05everybody to go to heaven but there are34:06people who forfeited or rejected they34:08don't believe right the work of God is34:11John 6:29 right is believing on him who34:15sent Jesus which is God and believing in34:18Jesus that's what gets you to heaven34:20amen right amen Amen. Okay. I'm 18 years34:24old. I'm an 18-year-old girl that34:25struggles with the friendship34:26insecurity. Recently, I have found a34:28best friend, but now all I can think34:30about is her, right? I honestly don't34:34want to, though. So, there's a lot of34:35back and forth of thinking about her34:36while trying to stay grounded in Christ.34:38What are some Bible verses? So, it's not34:40really Bible verses that you need. Uh,34:42obviously, I can give you some of those,34:43but more importantly than anything,34:45right? uh you have to think about why34:49you're constantly thinking about this34:51person and you're making them an idol34:53obviously, but that's something you have34:54to go to God about. The fact, however,34:56that you have awareness of this at 1834:58years old is very beautiful. So, you35:01don't have to worry too much. I think35:02you're you're on the right track. I35:04think more importantly than anything you35:05can say and when you think the next time35:07you think about this person go God thank35:09you that you gave me this person but35:10Lord please don't allow me to replace35:12this person with to replace you with35:15this person that's all you have to do35:17father God keep my heart grounded allow35:19me not to replace you with this person35:23who you created for me I care about them35:26I love them but if you truly love them35:28Alex you should preach the gospel and35:30that will also actually keep them35:32grounded as Oh, hey, I think about you a35:35lot and I want you to go to heaven. Let35:36me preach the gospel to you and talk to35:38her about that. That's what it comes35:40down to at the end of the day. Right.35:42Right. How do you preach the gospel to35:44someone whose son of 13 years old shot35:48himself in the head with his dad's35:49issued work gun and is here for mental35:52health treatment? By just preaching.35:54Like I said, right, the gospel is it it35:57it bleeds into people whether you're35:59mentally ill, whether you're36:00unconscious. Right? The Bible says faith36:04comes by hearing, hearing the word of36:05God. So if you if you go to uh Romans36:08chap 10:17, it speaks about this, right?36:12Make sense? Just what it kind of comes36:14down to at the end of the day, right?36:16Did Jesus's sins cover only cover a sin36:19sacrifice in Yamipur, which is the36:22Passover, and did or did it cover all36:24Levitical? It covered everything. Yeah,36:27it covered everything. Yeah. Every36:30single thing was finished on the cross.36:31every law, right? Amen. Hey, Johnny.36:35I've learned more about my identity in36:36Christ and many good things. Started36:38sharing the gospel to plant some seeds36:39and help many out like I wanted to be36:41helped. But I do now feel more36:44comfortable in things I used to regret36:46to do like play games for a couple of36:47hours and other things. I always go like36:50if God wants, he'll cut it off. Uh so36:52it's fine. Like there's no guilt and36:54pride slips in and this and that. And I36:56don't know the word enough to find a36:58secure answer in the Bible. So I came to37:00someone who knows. What do you think? So37:02I think um yes and no, right? So the37:04first part of it is of course God has no37:07condemnation for you. Right? But and37:10it's true if God wants to cut it off he37:12will. The reason why you feel guilt and37:14the reason why why you don't feel guilt37:16I'm sorry and why pride slips in is37:19because you're misconstring his work for37:22you know your work. So you think that37:26you may have to feel guilt. understand37:29what I'm saying and that you know guilt37:33is something that you should feel37:34because it keeps you on track but37:36according to who standard though so37:38let's say you don't play video games37:39have you stopped sinning all like37:42altogether no you sin in other ways too37:45let's say you don't feel guilt but you37:47stop playing games even if he quote37:49unquote cuts that off he has to cut37:51everything off and he did so you have to37:54understand his work versus your work the37:56pride that slips in is you think even37:59your feeling of guilt is a work. Oh, I38:01have to feel guilty. Why don't I feel38:03that anymore? Because he removed the38:05iniquity. So then you also think, well,38:09shouldn't I feel something cuz that's38:10what's going to keep me on track. Again,38:12that's where the pride stems from. You38:14doing the work. Does that make sense?38:16Right? The Bible says condemnation,38:18guilt, you know, convict condemnation,38:21guilt, negative thoughts do not come38:23from God. Conviction comes from God, but38:25not condemnation. So guilt is part of38:27condemnation. You just used to be38:29condemned.38:31But the fact that you even asking this38:32question, right? Why don't I feel38:35anything? Why am I more comfortable?38:37Means you're aware that you're freed,38:39but your body is not used to you being38:41free. It's used to being condemned. So38:44this is very foreign to you. No, that is38:46true freedom, right? You don't have to38:49say it's fine. It's finished. God38:51already said none of this matters to38:52you, right? It doesn't matter to him.38:55The issue here is that doesn't mean you38:57can do whatever you want. But but that38:59should propel you into learning more39:00about God. That should make you go,39:02"Dang, I don't need to play these video39:03games. I want to spend the time playing39:05the video games with learning about this39:07God who sacrificed his life for me to39:09where I don't even feel guilt anymore."39:11That's amazing. I want to grow with him.39:14So, I would only say that that's39:15something you have to kind of consider39:17cuz Satan will work in all avenues, in39:20all ways, right? Amen. It's just kind of39:23what it comes down to at the end of the39:24day, okay? How to surrender unto God if39:28in a sense of allowing Jesus to sit on39:30the throne of my heart. Very simple.39:31Number one, Jesus already sitting on the39:33throne of your heart if you have39:34salvation. Number two is tie everything39:36back to the gospel. Trust in God even39:39when you don't feel like it. Follow God39:41even though it doesn't feel like good to39:43you. Right? It's separating feelings.39:46And that is what surrender is. And39:48allowing God to work. And if you can't39:50surrender, don't worry. He's going to39:51make you surrender. The fact that you39:53have trials and tribulations is proof39:55that he's trying to make you surrender.39:57And you'll never listen guys, between39:59us, all of us, we're never going to40:01surrender. We are always opportunistic.40:04Try to drown yourself. If you can swim,40:06just try to go in the bathtub and try to40:09drown yourself. You'll never surrender.40:12Understand? Something has to make you do40:14it. And we're naturally this way where40:17we're rough neck of iron. It says we40:18don't bend our head. We don't bow to40:20people. We don't bend. So God has to40:22break us. But that doesn't mean it's a40:24bad thing. And it doesn't mean it's40:26always painful. Sometimes the breaking40:28of the heart is realizing you can never40:30break. Oh, I'm a person who can't40:32change. But I'm thankful that God will40:34change and he will change me. Does that40:36make sense? Well, [snorts] that's what40:38it comes down to, right? At the end of40:40the day. Right? Amen. So when people say40:43you need to surrender to God, like of40:46course. But who's actually doing that40:48though? They they're saying that because40:50in their eyes they think they're40:51surrendered, but they're not. If you40:53think you're surrendered, that's proof40:54that you're not. True surrendered people40:56realize they cannot. They don't talk40:58about doing it. They talk about how they41:00can't do it, and that's why God made41:01them do it. Understand? That's what it41:04comes down to, right? Amen. Yes, it's41:07okay to go to the gym and do those41:09things. Self-care is okay, but not when41:11it becomes your idol, right? It's just41:13it's okay.41:14>> Guys, daily devotionals are back. Is it41:39normal that in the beginning of my walk,41:40bad habits were removed from my life41:42without me trying? However, now I'm41:43falling back into bad habits like a dog41:45going back to his vomit. Not41:47necessarily. You just again got41:49comfortable and trusted yourself again.41:50That's it. And when you have41:52comfortability, it's always going to41:54push you into these things. It's going41:56to always make you, you know, sin and41:59mess up. You have to That's why God42:01gives you certain trials and42:02tribulations to re-enter you.42:04>> [snorts]42:04>> So that's why it it's it sucks when42:06people judge other people because God42:09kind of obviously could have not allowed42:11that stuff to happen to us, but he does.42:14Like God could wipe away your lust in a42:16in a snap of a finger. Understand what42:18I'm saying, right? So at the end of the42:21day, he doesn't though. Why? Because42:24he's trying to utilize it so you can go42:26back to him. Right? Pastor, I have42:28trouble with confronting an old con42:30contract of mine. I think my ego is42:34standing in my way to old contact of42:36mine. I think my ego is standing in my42:38way to talk to him. I feel like I'll be42:40looking like I run after him, but I42:42still have unresolved stuff that we42:43cannot avoid it further. I mean talk42:46these things you can talk to them about.42:47Listen, the the number one thing the42:50issue is why we have ego is because we42:52weren't exalted, right? You don't have42:54to confront them. You can just be like,42:56"Hey, I have a I need to have a42:57conversation with you." And you can't42:59even talk about that, right? You can't43:02even talk about that. You can't even43:03say, "Hey, you know, respectfully, this43:07was difficult for me to even talk to43:09you, and I don't want this to come off43:10as a confrontation." You start like43:12that. I I know I can be egotistical, so43:14I apologize, and let me preface with43:16that, right? But but it was very43:18difficult for me to talk to you because43:20I feel like I'm chasing after you, and43:22there's a lot of unresolved things that43:24we can't really avoid anymore. And so I43:26I know that this may be shocking to you,43:28and I apologize if it is. If you start43:29like that, people will be respectful.43:32But what people don't do is they love to43:34blame, right? People love to blame,43:37right? That's one thing that me and43:38Jeremy were were we tussle about before43:40was, "Hey, bro, stop blaming other43:42people." Yeah. But here's the thing. I'm43:44right. I understand. But let's just be43:46wrong. It's okay. But all of us here, we43:48all love to blame. Understand what I'm43:50saying? You told me this and you told me43:52that and you did this to me and you did.43:53And it's like it's always everyone43:54else's problem, but it's never like our43:56problem. Understand? Like we need to we43:59need to take a little bit of44:00accountability, right? So take44:02accountability by saying okay this is44:04difficult but I also allowed this person44:06to kind I signed a like you know I I I I44:08I deal I dealt with them a verbal44:11contract with them by letting them into44:12my life and so it it's just part of it44:15right and then you just be honest. One44:18thing I want to teach people is taking44:19accountability is obviously a really44:21good thing. Now even if you don't take44:23accountability with them you can go the44:24other other way. Don't take44:26accountability. That's fine. But do it44:27in front of God. Yeah. I also, you know,44:29in front of God, I did this too. And I44:31understand what I'm saying, [snorts]44:33right? So, you know, even yesterday,44:36like we went out to eat and you know,44:39Jeremy, he's he's he always makes jokes,44:42you know, but there's this one thing44:43that he made a joke that that went a44:45little bit too far with me, right? And44:48legit, I haven't felt this in a very44:50long time, but I I basically like, you44:53know, when you feel the anger burning up44:55inside of you and you're like, "Okay, we44:58we we just got there to eat and like he45:00made this joke and it's like a type of45:01thing where it presses you so hard that45:03you lose your appetite." And that was45:05pissing me off, too, cuz I was like,45:06"Dude, all day I fasted. We just did a a45:09long podcast. We did a banger episode45:12and I'm hungry and you can't just watch45:15your mouth, you know?" And at the same45:17time, like I was getting pissed and I45:19literally had to remove myself from the45:20situation. I was like, "Hey, bro,45:21respectfully, I'm I'mma dip." And he45:23just immediately his whole demeanor45:24changed. Like, "What? No, John. I'm Oh45:27my god, I'm so I was like, "No, that's45:28cool." And I didn't want to accept his45:29apology. I just walked out. And it45:31became really weird, right? It was45:32there's four of us there, right? Me,45:34Aaron, Jeremy, and Devin. And I'm just45:37like, "Man, I'm cool." You know, like45:39that was that I never I never crash out45:41like that. And I never trip out on him45:43for making all these. He makes gay45:44jokes. He makes all It doesn't matter.45:46like I just I don't care. But it was45:48this one thing he said that that kind of45:49pushed me over the edge to the point45:51where I was going to get violent, right?45:52So I needed to remove myself out of the45:54situation. And the whole time as I was45:57walking, Satan was telling me, "Man,45:58it's his fault. He doesn't respect you.46:00You see," and it was all like I could46:02see that it was all me me.46:05Understand? And at that moment, I was46:07like literally on the verge of just like46:09crashing out completely. And I know46:12Satan works because when I was walking46:14out, this homeless guy, you know, it's46:17in LA, so there's a lot of homeless46:19people. And this guy was kind of like,46:21you know, like like not fully there. And46:24he's like, "What's up, man? You got46:26money? Can I get can I get some money?46:28Like, you know, you got some change?"46:29And I was like, "Nah, [snorts]46:30man." And I was like, and I guess cuz I46:32was mad. I was like, "Not right now,46:34man. Not right now." And I like walked46:35around. He's like, "Well, then when?46:37When?" Cuz I I guess I said, "Not right46:39now." And he took it literally. He's46:40like, "When then?" And I was like,46:41"Never." And then he looked at me. He's46:43like, "Oh." Like he came to his senses46:45and he's like, "Oh, shoot. Okay." I was46:47like, "Never, bro. I'm not going to give46:48you nothing." And he's like, "Oh, okay."46:50And he just like walked off, which I46:52felt bad after, obviously, right? But at46:55the same time, I had to like I could see46:57how Satan works even in those types of46:59situations, right? He plants things to47:01be like, "Yeah, yeah." And it's all47:03because in my heart, I didn't want to47:05take accountability that I was47:06sensitive. Do you guys understand what47:08I'm saying? Right? It was just a joke.47:10Did I know that it was a joke? Of47:12course, it came out as a joke fashion.47:13But somehow it pricricked me in a way47:15where I guess I just wasn't ready for47:16it. As a human being, I was like, "Yo,47:18what's up with that? Don't say that, you47:20know, don't say it like that." And so,47:22right then and there, it was more of47:24like I was willing to get violent and47:26angry because47:29uh because because I didn't want to47:31acknowledge that I was sensitive. Do you47:33guys understand what I'm saying? So, the47:35in all honesty, this is also a lesson47:38for you. You know, everything that I go47:39through, I always try to teach you guys47:40at least, you know, that's appropriate,47:42right? Is that most of the time, was it47:45the joke that pissed me off? No, it was47:47the sensitivity that I couldn't47:48acknowledge in myself at that moment47:50that pissed me off, right? And so,47:52[snorts] I was able to see that and47:54obviously I calmed down and he came out47:56and he was like very like apologetic,47:58you know? He's like, "Johnny, I'm sorry,48:00bro. I I can learn." And when he said48:01that, it cracked my heart, you know. I48:03was like, "Damn." He's like, "Johnny, I48:05can learn. I can learn not to mess48:06around. I'm sorry, you know, like he's48:07very calm and I was like, "No, it's48:09cool." And he's like, "Bro, like I I I I48:11I respect you. I I can see that it came48:14off so disrespectful and I'm truly48:16sorry." Cuz even Aaron got at him. I'm48:18like, "Bro, you're stupid. Why would you48:19say something like that?" You know, and48:21so he just got too comfortable. And I48:23told him straight up, I was like,48:24"Exactly what I'm telling you, Pink48:25Gremlin." I said, "Hey, bro, the issue48:27is not you, if you want me to be48:29honest." And it took a lot for me to say48:30this. The issue is I'm super sensitive48:32when you say stuff like that. when you48:34touch on things about like things that48:36happened to me like in my past, I'm very48:38sensitive about that and I don't like48:39that. You know what I mean? And so it's48:41actually not your fault, bro. And he was48:44like, "Dang, the fact that you didn't48:46crash out. The fact," and he felt even48:47worse, you know, cuz he's like, "Dude,48:49like I get it. You know, I deserve48:51everything that was coming to me, but48:52you you still are trying to articulate48:54this to me shows me that you really are48:56trying to like not, you know, get48:58angry." He's like, "I deserve to get49:00punched in the face. I deserve to, you49:02know, like I'm sorry. Genuinely, I'm49:03sorry. And and it was okay. And then49:05he's like, "Please don't be mad at me."49:07Like hug me, you know, like he always49:08does, like, "Oh, please, Johnny." And49:10I'm just like laughing. And I was like,49:11"It's cool." But but all it took was to49:13be like, "Hey, I acknowledge that I'm49:16sensitive, too." But you know why people49:18stay mad? Like what you're doing, you're49:20having trouble with it. Is because you49:21don't want to acknowledge that you49:22allowed them to take advantage of you.49:24You get what I'm saying? You that's why49:26you want to confront like you want to be49:28like it's them. But if you're going to49:30have that heart, I rather you not49:31confront them because it's gonna it's49:33just going to get worse. They're going49:34to toss it back on you. You know, that's49:36why I was saying if you lead with, oh,49:38you know, to be honest, I have ego and I49:40have pride. And so, let me preface this49:42with and that's what I did with him. I49:43was like, bro, I'm mad right now.49:45There's no amount of stuff that you're49:46going to say and it's really because I'm49:48being sensitive. I straight up said49:49that. And he's like, he just kind of49:51opened his eyes and he was like, whoa.49:53Like, man, I'm sorry, bro. I didn't like49:55and rightfully so. He said, you know, I49:57said some really mean things, right? And49:59I didn't mean to say it like that, you50:01know. He's like, I always like clown on50:02you and I know like you never take50:04anything personal, but this one I know I50:06went a little too far cuz the whole the50:08whole it was one of those like like50:10everyone got silent, you know what I50:12mean? And so I was just like, "Bro, come50:14on." You know? And so at the end of the50:17day though, he could say those types of50:19jokes. The issue is not him saying50:22anything bad, right? The issue was I50:25can't take the joke at that moment50:27because I think somehow that translates50:29to him disrespecting me when the truth50:31is he loves me to death. He gave up his50:34whole company for us guys. He works50:3714-hour days minimum sometimes 16-our50:40days. Like what do you mean he doesn't50:42respect you? But the mind is right. No,50:45he doesn't respect cuz he did that one50:47thing. And that's what I was mad about50:49at myself. how can right like he50:52sacrificed this much and it takes one50:54thing man Johnny you're horrible and50:56then I just acknowledge yeah I'm50:57horrible and I'm sensitive and then50:59nothing became a problem after that to51:01the point where I can even tell him that51:02you know saying a gang member as a gang51:04member in that mentality to say I'm51:06sensitive is something that you don't51:07really want to hear but I'm going to51:09tell you honestly 99% of you guys in51:11here are all sensitive and the only51:13reason why you get mad at all and blame51:15other people for anything is because51:17you're sensitive that's the god honest51:19truth and I'm not trying to say that in51:21no disrespectful way. I'm saying it cuz51:22I stand 10 toes. I'm like that. I know51:25I'm like that. Do you understand what51:27I'm saying? Right? And so a lot of51:29people need to understand this. That you51:31know, as long as we acknowledge that51:33we're just a bunch of, you know, a ball51:34of sensitive people. Then we can learn51:37to be like, "Ah, I shouldn't act like51:38that." Because on the drive home, you51:40know how precious Jeremy was was. He51:42goes, "Johnny, like he's starting to51:45think," which I think is a very big51:46level up. He goes, "Johnny, don't51:48spiral, okay?" Cuz he knew. He knew51:51like, "Oh, I'm going to condemn myself51:53later." Be like, "Dang, I shouldn't have51:54felt like that towards Jeremy." He's51:56like, "Bro, I love you. Everything51:58you've ever done, Johnny, for me, I owe51:59my life to you genuinely, bro. And I and52:02I I know it's Jesus through you, but I52:04love you." And he's like, "And I would52:05never, Johnny, I would never ever look52:07at you different. Even if you crashed52:08out today and you punched me or you hit52:10me, like I would never look at you52:11different." You know, that really made52:13me thankful inside of my heart. like,52:14dang, he's thinking about my heart, you52:16know, for once. And that that's not52:18Jeremy. That's Jesus through him. I can52:20see it. He's not the type to be like52:21that respectfully, right? He's very like52:25I stand 10 toes and I'll die on this52:26hill, right? Like don't be sensitive.52:29You know, that's your problem. Don't get52:30like don't project like don't deflect.52:32But he's he didn't he was more like,52:34"Bro, I I I get it." And it wasn't52:36because of monetary gains. It wasn't52:37because I was like, "I'm going to fire52:38you," which I never said. It was more of52:41just like, "Bro, I know I know your52:42heart, and I know a lot of people don't52:44really think about your heart." You52:46know, most people are like that. They52:48come to me with their problems, but52:49they're never like, "Yo, how are you,52:50bro? How you feeling?" You know, to be52:52honest, and I'm And don't feel bad,52:54guys. And I don't want you guys to start52:55doing that. I'm just saying in all52:58honesty, very few people check up on me,53:01especially from core of the heart,53:02right? And very few people check up on53:04me just in general. They just assume53:06you're a leader. You're a good leader53:08and you you you got it on lock. You know53:10what I mean? And so it's always like,53:12well, you said this and and I did this53:14and I need help with this and so what53:16does this mean when you said that and I53:18don't understand and it's always just53:19about them. You know, I got to do this,53:21I got to do that, and how do I do this,53:23how do I do that? Right? But at the end53:25of the day, what I'm very thankful about53:27is that, you know, God allowed that to53:29happen to show me like Jeremy does care53:31about my heart posture. There are people53:33like that who genuinely care, who love,53:36you know, who who who, you know, have53:38the heart of God and can move forward53:40and right and kind of do these types of53:43things. Amen. Right. And so it kind of53:47comes down to this this situation,53:49right? Um, I think I think the number53:53one thing that God wants to to teach in53:56all of us is when you learn to53:59acknowledge who you are in front of God,54:02then that's what true freedom like lies,54:05right? If you if you realize, okay, I'm54:08just a sensitive person and I and I and54:10and people don't want me and people54:12don't love me, right? Cuz cuz cuz as I54:15was walking out, I kind of had that54:17heart of like see no one's really going54:19to respect you like that, Johnny. Like54:21this is what you this is why you you54:22always protect yourself is because54:24people don't respect you, right? Like54:26from the guy who worked for me who said54:28you're uneducated and that's why you you54:30you know work the way you work to the54:33guy who was like, "Bro, you're you're54:35you know, I don't think you're a good54:36leader. Um I wouldn't run it this way."54:39To Jeremy cracking a joke that goes a54:41little too far for me. Um, you know,54:43it's always these thoughts of like54:44reinforcement, negative reinforcement of54:46like, see, they don't respect you.54:48Nobody cares about you. You [snorts]54:50know, you try to tell them like, hey,54:52like you try to set the tone of like54:54let's not joke around too much because54:55it sets kind of bad blood and then when54:58you don't set the tone, this is what55:00happens. And then now you feel stupid,55:02right? Like it it's it's damned if you55:04do, damned if you don't. So, as I was55:06thinking about that, all I had to do was55:07just acknowledge that about myself and55:09go, Johnny, you're you're a fool, you55:12know? Like that's just what it comes55:13down to. And to be honest, now that I55:14think about it, it wasn't that he said55:17anything too bad. It was just that I was55:19being sensitive for the kind of uh uh55:23leadership because we're it's me. If55:25it's me, Aaron, Jiren, me, Jeremy, and55:29Aaron, we we can joke around like that.55:31But when there's a new person, there has55:33to be a level setting, right? where it55:35can't just be like, yo, you can't just55:37do this because he did that last time55:38and then that's what led that other guy55:40to literally go like, yeah, bro, you're55:42just uneducated, you know, like it it55:45gives people a a grounds to disrespect.55:48Like if you disrespect your brother55:50around your friends and all your friends55:51are going to disrespect your brother.55:52You get what I'm saying? So, it was more55:54of this type of thing, right? Um, and55:56and I didn't want that to bleed into the55:58company where it's like, oh yeah,56:00everyone could just, which a lot of I'm56:02not going to lie, a lot of people do56:03from the podcast people to everyone.56:05They always kind of clown me and I let56:06it go, you know, cuz I'm like whatever.56:09And I don't really clown people back.56:10The only one I do is like Jeremy, right?56:12And so, um, because we have a different56:14type of relationship, but for the most56:16part, I'm I'm But other people will56:18crack jokes, you know, like, "Oh,56:20Johnny, when you're sitting there, you56:21kind of look like Forest Gump." you56:23know, basically look at like you look56:25slow, you know, in some of these56:26thumbnails and I'm just like and like I56:28let it go because obviously it's just,56:31you know, part of it. And it may be56:33actually true, you know, sometimes I'm56:34like, dang, why do I they got a bad56:36shot, but whatever. I don't care. I'm56:37never like change the thumbnail cuz I56:39don't give a crap what I look like on on56:41that stuff, you know? So, I let it go.56:43But there is this part of like, do they56:46really respect me though, right? Why56:48would they even say something like that?56:49you know, they can suggest it like,56:51"Hey, let's change the thumbnail because56:52I think that was a bad shot versus like,56:54you look like Forest." You understand56:56what I'm saying? Like, there's ways that56:57you can say certain things, right? But56:59even that, I just let it go. And I I57:01chalk it up as, you know what, that's57:03just how they are. Like, they're just57:04being honest and free and and it's57:07difficult when you're very filtered.57:08You're you're trying to be filtered,57:10like gaining people's hearts, and they57:11just free reign say whatever they want57:13to you, right? Verbal diarrhea, trauma57:15dump, whatever. They just do whatever57:16they want. And so, you know, a lot of57:19times I just it just gets to me, right?57:20And I'm like, "All right, God, you got57:22to help me with this." So, you know, I57:24share that to say all of that to just57:26say that if you are, you know, uh57:29acknowledging who you are, uh if you're57:32a lustful human being, um yes, people57:34will judge you. Understand what I'm57:36saying? Uh if you if you uh acknowledge57:39that you're sensitive, yes, people will57:41take advantage of that and and and call57:42you sensitive. Um, but there are people57:45out there who will, like Jeremy, change57:47his heart and go, "Dang, thank you for57:49being vulnerable with me, Johnny." Like,57:51you know, I I think that's that's your57:53superpower and I didn't even think about57:55it like that. And I actually feel very57:57wrong that I I said something like that.57:59And I'm sorry, and I understand, you58:01know, and and there's there's58:02opportunities where our bond got58:04stronger just because of that, too,58:06right? And so [snorts] um in the same58:08way like if you just acknowledge that58:12you're lustful if you yes yes people58:14will blame you oh why did you do that58:15then is it you did this because you're58:17lustful okay blah blah but like and then58:19but there's also other people go hey58:20yeah you know what I struggle with that58:21too and I respect that and thank you for58:23being honest with me you know thank you58:25for doing that you know but but guys the58:28number one thing I want you guys to58:29learn is not don't blame other people58:31and don't even blame yourself just58:33acknowledge like yeah I'm I'm I'm this58:35way you You know, but people love to58:37blame other people because the issue is58:40you're protecting your ego, you're58:42protecting your feelings, and you think58:44that, you know, uh you're good.58:47Understand what I'm saying, guys? I58:48don't I don't know if you guys know, but58:50we are counted for sheep as a slaughter.58:52We're we're not even supposed to be58:53walked on. Walked on is a is a is a good58:55thing. We're supposed to be we're58:56supposed to be killed. See, people don't58:58believe in the Bible. That's the issue.59:00Understand? And so when you see yourself59:03as a sheep for slaughter, then you don't59:05really take anything personal, right? Of59:09course you have your limits. Like I had59:10my limit and I cracked, right? But at59:12the same time, when you go back to that,59:14right, you fall, but you get back up and59:15go, hm, that's true. I don't actually59:17deserve anything. Nowhere in the Bible59:19does it say you deserve a man or a59:21woman. Nowhere in the Bible does it say59:22you deserve kids. Nowhere in the Bible59:24does it say you deserve a house. Nowhere59:26in the Bible does it says God will59:27provide when he provides. and God59:29[snorts] will take away when he takes59:31away and God will bless when he blesses59:32and God will curse when he curses,59:34right? It's like it's up to God. So59:36there's nothing. But the issue is we59:38think that things are we deserve things.59:42We think like yeah, you know, God like59:45like we we don't really care about the59:46gospel as well. The the number one thing59:48he gave us the most was the gospel.59:51Understand what I'm saying? And we don't59:52care about that either respectfully. We59:54get numb, right? Some of us, oh after 459:56months, we get numb. Why? Because that's59:58proof God is allowing that to show you1:00:00you don't care then if that's if you're1:00:02a person who doesn't even care about the1:00:04gospel then why would God have to give1:00:07us anything in life? Do do you guys1:00:09understand what I'm saying? Like why do1:00:11we deserve anything? And and it makes1:00:12sense now why we have to die like1:00:14genuinely that's the only thing in 1001:00:16years none of us are going to be here.1:00:18Why? Because that's what we deserve. But1:00:21it's weird how we think like no we don't1:00:22deserve that. And so I felt very1:00:24shameful, but like a godly shame, godly1:00:26remorse, right? Where I'm like, dang.1:00:28When I was driving home, I was like, you1:00:30know, Jeremy's such a better person than1:00:31I am in that in the heat of the moment,1:00:34he doesn't really like hold that against1:00:36me. And he goes, hey, I understand. You1:00:38know, me, I'm a person who like for a1:00:41split second, I can even think that I tr1:00:43I I can trust myself and go, I deserve1:00:45this. I deserve that, man. I don't1:00:46deserve respect. I'm in fact, I'm placed1:00:49in this role because I'm so evil and I'm1:00:52supposed to exude God. I'm supposed to1:00:54show God, portray God, but like I'm over1:00:58here trying to like feel respected, you1:01:00know. And so I also talked to him about1:01:02that and you know, he texted me, you1:01:04know, I love you, bro, again, right? And1:01:06don't want you to spiral and I care1:01:08about you, you know, right? And he's1:01:11just like, you're right. You're you're1:01:14the best, you know, like and and and1:01:16you're the best because you're the1:01:18worst, right? Basically, is what he was1:01:20saying, right? And I I really love the1:01:22fact that like he can see that he also1:01:25doesn't deserve anything cuz any you1:01:28can't say that if you if you feel like1:01:29you deserve something, you know, he1:01:31could easily be like, "Bro, what the1:01:32hell? It was just a joke, man. I do this1:01:34for you. I do that for you. How can you1:01:35say that? I don't respect you." But he1:01:37didn't say any of that. That's how I1:01:39know number one, he's leveled up. Number1:01:41two, God really put it in his heart to1:01:43be like, "Dang, okay, I'm thinking about1:01:45Johnny now. He doesn't ever crash. I've1:01:48never crashed out on him like that."1:01:49genuinely, right? But like he's just1:01:52like, "Dude," and I wasn't crazy mad. I1:01:54wasn't, you know, threatening. I wasn't1:01:56like in his face, but he could just1:01:58tell, right? He's like, he straight up1:02:00said it like, "You're scary, bro,1:02:01honestly." And I'm like, "I didn't say1:02:03anything." He's like, "I know, but you1:02:04just are like when you shift like that,1:02:07it's just something different, bro. It's1:02:08not you." And he's like, "And I just I1:02:11just thankful, man." And he's like1:02:13hugging me, you know, hugging me tight.1:02:14He's like, "Thank you, bro, for not1:02:15like, you know, crashing out and1:02:18flipping out and just leaving and1:02:19whatever." Cuz I was going to leave. I1:02:20was going to be like, "You guys eat.1:02:22I'll pay for the food. Like, whatever.1:02:23I'm going to dip." You know, and he's1:02:25like, "Dang." Cuz again, guys, I'm a1:02:27runner, right? I'm always the person1:02:28who's like, "Man, I'm cool, bro." Cuz if1:02:30I don't leave in that situation, things1:02:32are going to get ugly. And so, I just1:02:34kind of dip out, you know? And so, um,1:02:37the [snorts] end of the day, I1:02:37understand the confrontation aspect is1:02:39what I'm trying to say. We're hiring,1:02:40guys. It might work1:03:51out. So, if you're amazing at something,1:03:53you don't see the perfect job1:03:54description, just reach out. Tell us1:03:56what you're good at. I look forward1:04:02to hearing from you guys.1:04:03>> All right, let me continue. Sorry.1:04:04Hello, Johnny. I have a question, but1:04:06first I want to thank you for helping me1:04:07fully surrender and find peace inside of1:04:08my heart. Amen. My question is, I want1:04:10to get biblical tattoos, mainly Isaiah1:04:1268, okay, and Psalm 4 uh 144 verse one.1:04:17Both banger verses, by the way. I I like1:04:19Isaiah Yeah, Isaiah 68 is good. Um, but1:04:21they will be my first tattoos, but I'm1:04:23terrified to disrespect the word of God.1:04:24And these types of tattoos, are these1:04:26types of tattoos disrespectful? Are they1:04:28okay? I'm terrified of being who I was1:04:30before God found me. I don't want to be1:04:33without him ever again. No. I don't1:04:35know. Good question. So, um I think I1:04:38think it comes down to um you have a1:04:41desire, right? What I hear, okay, is you1:04:43have a desire to honor God, which I1:04:45don't think is disrespectful.1:04:47You also have a fear of losing um you1:04:50know, this heart for him, which I think1:04:52is beautiful, right? And so, that proves1:04:55to me that you you have the right heart1:04:56posture. Secondly, I don't think1:04:58biblical tattoos when you do it in faith1:05:00or in gratitude or in remembrance, I1:05:03don't think it's condemned and I1:05:05actually think it's actually exalted. I1:05:09obviously in Leviticus 19:28, you see,1:05:11right, you shall not make any cutings in1:05:13your flesh, right? And don't put any1:05:15marks on your body, right? God says1:05:17this, I am the Lord. But again the1:05:19context of that was Israel was1:05:22essentially you know around these1:05:24paganistic people and they were making1:05:28you know their body um to honor false1:05:31gods and even honor the dead right and1:05:34so one scripture that pops up when you1:05:36speak about this is 1st Samuel 16:71:05:39right a human or man looks on the1:05:42outward appearance but God look at that1:05:43onto the heart so when I look at you I1:05:45can't look at your outward appearance1:05:46either I have to look at your heart,1:05:48right? I don't think a tattoo will1:05:50remove your holiness. I don't think it1:05:52will remove what Jesus did on the cross,1:05:54right? I believe, right, that you know,1:05:58God is is um going to be honored by1:06:02that. Now, I I would I would not choose1:06:04I know Isaiah 668 is beautiful. I know1:06:06that one. It's which means here I am,1:06:08send me, right? I know I know the verse1:06:10even in Hebrew. But the thing about it1:06:13is right um I think um you know more1:06:19than anything uh you have to just have1:06:22the heart of not here I am send me but1:06:25God you saved me and you were sent for1:06:28me. So if you can surrender not have it1:06:32as a worksbased heart then that's fine1:06:35right and obviously Psalm 144:1 bless1:06:37the Lord right my strength right and1:06:40teach me my hands to war my fingers to1:06:42fight a lot of this right kind of comes1:06:45down weaver I'll be honest not in a1:06:47prideful way but these are more about1:06:50like yes it's God being your strength1:06:53but like I think there's better better1:06:56verses where you can honor God with1:06:58personally Personally, this kind of1:06:59comes off more as like send me God and1:07:03you like use my hands for war and my1:07:06fingers to fight, right? Where I would1:07:08choose more scriptural things that1:07:10people can speak about because if you're1:07:12preaching with these cuz people are1:07:13going to ask you, "Hey man, what is1:07:14Isaiah 68? Here I am. Send me." And1:07:17they're going to be like, they may fall1:07:18into a workspace mindset because of your1:07:20tattoos. You see how like everything I1:07:22do, I'm going to try and preach the1:07:23gospel through. Right? So if you can see1:07:27how this can be confusing to people. Now1:07:29I understand that this is touching your1:07:31heart. So maybe put it on your chest1:07:32then or put it somewhere but you have to1:07:34try to make it where you can preach the1:07:36gospel. If you sit there and you talk to1:07:38people and it's like here I am send me.1:07:41That could be like oh so but what if I1:07:43don't have my purpose and is God not1:07:44going to send me? So it can bring1:07:45condemnation or it can bring like yeah1:07:48bro hell yeah. See and what I've been1:07:50doing is I've been going to God man.1:07:51I've been been sent man. I've been1:07:53working for and now it's like oh oh man1:07:55man okay I'm not trying to incite that1:07:57do you understand what I'm saying now1:07:59you understand right so that's what it1:08:02kind of comes down to at the at the end1:08:03of the day right we have to genuinely1:08:07genuinely1:08:08you know really think about other people1:08:10since these tattoos are going to be seen1:08:12not only by you but by other people and1:08:15you're supposed to represent God to1:08:17these people I would maybe choose verses1:08:20that would free people [snorts] right or1:08:23just at least put him on a place where1:08:24it's like it's it's dear to you. If you1:08:27want to honor God, honor honor God1:08:28silently. And I think you should tattoo1:08:32the gospel in your heart more than your1:08:34body. That you can skip the tattoos.1:08:37Understand what I'm saying, right? That1:08:39that's what I would say. Okay? No1:08:41disrespect. You can do what you want,1:08:42right? I'm not saying don't do it, but I1:08:44I I would say tattoo God's love and his1:08:46heart into your heart and then preach1:08:49that way through his heart, right? And I1:08:51think that would actually be way more1:08:53impactful than, you know, Hebrews 10:141:08:55on your forehead, right? Isaiah 6:8, you1:08:59know, here I am, right? I think I think,1:09:03you know, I think it would it would be1:09:04better, right? Okay. Hello, Johnny. Can1:09:07you explain Luke uh 23-1:09:1124?1:09:13Um, yeah. Is that the one that every1:09:15male that opens the womb shall be called1:09:17holy? Um, and it talks about the the1:09:20pair of turtle doves and two young1:09:22pigeons. And is that what you're right1:09:26what you what you what you think? So,1:09:28it's not keeping the law. Um, rather1:09:32what it is is they're presenting Jesus,1:09:34right, as the firstborn because this is1:09:36about Mary and and uh Joseph, right? And1:09:40[snorts] they're offering a sacrifice1:09:42basically uh for Mary's purification.1:09:45So, you know, um the one who fulfills1:09:48the law is being brought into this world1:09:51to to be under the law cuz Jesus was1:09:54born under the law. Amen. Uh when you1:09:57look at Galatians, the main scripture1:09:58for this is Galatians 4:4 to5. God sent1:10:01forth his son made of woman under the1:10:03law to redeem them that are under the1:10:06law. So Jesus enters into the law. He1:10:09submits to the law and then he carries1:10:11the law. That's what he says in Matthew1:10:125. He says, "I don't I didn't come to,1:10:15you know, remove. I came to fulfill."1:10:17And he fulfilled it and then he removed1:10:19it after because he fulfilled it. Right?1:10:21And so Luke chapter 2, when you're1:10:22quoting 23- 24, he's actually quoting1:10:25Exodus 13, right? This was during, you1:10:28know, the first Passover and he was1:10:30basically, you know, presenting1:10:33uh this as a redeemer, right? And so,1:10:36[snorts] yeah, it's it's it's1:10:39essentially this way. And why does Mary1:10:42bring a sin offering, which is the1:10:44turtle doves and the young pigeons,1:10:45which is also in Leviticus 12, um is1:10:48because, you know, not because Jesus1:10:50sinned, right? But she's basically, you1:10:55know, um following the law because she's1:10:57still under the law. So, the mother of1:10:59the sinless son, Mary, offers a sin1:11:02sacrifice. Why? Right? to show that,1:11:05hey, I'm still under the law, but this1:11:08is the one who's going to remove the law1:11:09forever, which is really cool. So, it's1:11:12very deep, right? Amen. Um, should I1:11:15join the baran church? No, I think you1:11:17should just join whatever church that1:11:18that preaches the true gospel. If it's a1:11:20baran church, Amen. Hallelujah. Right.1:11:22But whatever church it is, as long as1:11:23they focus on Jesus more than anything1:11:25else and [snorts] they believe that1:11:26you're righteous and perfected and it's1:11:29not under the law and it's not it's1:11:31under grace and it's faith and it's not,1:11:33you know, uh sanctification is a1:11:35process. You're already sanctified, then1:11:36you're good. All right. I know as a1:11:39believer in Christ, we we need to spread1:11:41the gospel, but I feel under pressure. I1:11:42don't want to mislead anyone1:11:43specifically away from God. I haven't1:11:44even finished the Bible yet. Do I need1:11:46to finish the Bible first before? Yeah,1:11:47you need to finish the Bible. And um I1:11:50would say you need to for you1:11:51specifically you need to read more and1:11:53like you know listen more and just kind1:11:55of grow right and and God will make you1:11:57surrender through that. Yes 100%.1:12:01All right had a huge breakthrough from1:12:03what you just shared. Praise God. So all1:12:05of us are chosen all of us have that1:12:07chance at salvation. Do we have total1:12:09free will? Again I got taught we don't1:12:12and our times and our time here is1:12:15written. God knows where we will end up1:12:17and whatever happens will always is1:12:20going to happen. Uh is that biblical? Um1:12:23sort of. I mean you do have free will1:12:25but your will is to choose God or not1:12:27and choose yourself. Other than that,1:12:29you know, you don't really have anything1:12:31else. Right? Cuz God made us all1:12:33righteous and perfected. The will is do1:12:35you choose that or not? And according to1:12:36that, you will live. You will live1:12:39according to that. Right? So yes, I1:12:41would say yes. Right.1:12:43>> [snorts]1:12:43>> Um, you are amazing at breaking all of1:12:45these things down for us and explaining1:12:47it to us. A light bulb goes off in my1:12:49head every time I listen to you. Amen,1:12:50Saras. That's beautiful. Johnny, my mom1:12:52doesn't believe in church, but believes1:12:53in the Bible. How do I change her mind1:12:55or her perspective or everything and1:12:56help her? You can't. Um, because she1:12:58already believes in what she believes.1:13:00Instead, you can be the church for her.1:13:01And what I mean by that is you can move1:13:03and grow and she will see that. And then1:13:06you can be like, you know, when she does1:13:07come to you and go, "Hey, yo, why are1:13:09you changing so much? Why are you so1:13:10different?" be like actually because I I1:13:12actually attended a church and this is1:13:14what helped me. And then you know you1:13:16being that beacon and that light will1:13:17probably change her heart. Um if you1:13:19don't ch if you don't you know change1:13:22and you try to force her then she's just1:13:24going to feel like see this is why I1:13:26leave church cuz everyone at church is1:13:28like this. All right. So yeah sheesh.1:13:32Amen. Uh that actually answered my1:13:34question that I had. Good. That's why I1:13:36feel guilty for everything. Amen. All1:13:38thoughts are lies all the time. Amen.1:13:39Wow. That actually took a weight off of1:13:40me. Amen. Amen. Uh my husband hasn't1:13:43come to salvation yet, but he preaches1:13:44the gospel. He's he knows he shouldn't1:13:46pray. He should pray, but he doesn't. He1:13:48doesn't want to stop sinning. Sometimes1:13:50he uses it he uses it's the devil in him1:13:52as an excuse when he snaps at me in our1:13:55baby or says harsh things. Any advice on1:13:57this? I mean, he's not wrong. It is the1:13:59devil. Now, to weaponize it as a devil1:14:01is probably wrong, but he's not wrong in1:14:03that it is. And be like, "Yes, and1:14:05that's why we should distrust our1:14:06thoughts." So, build off of it. Don't1:14:08say yes, but. Learn to say yes. And when1:14:12you say but, it negates everything in1:14:14front of it. And people don't like it.1:14:16Somehow subconsciously, they react to1:14:18the word but. Yes. But. What do you mean1:14:20but? Yes. And, right. Yes. Yes. And.1:14:23That's why, babe, we should submit to1:14:25God. Like, of course, you you want to1:14:27stop sinning. And you're right. Look,1:14:29even in the scripture, it says Romans1:14:307:15, Romans 7:20. You're right. But1:14:33what does [snorts] God say? What does1:14:34what does Paul say after in Romans 7:24?1:14:38He explains to us that that's why Jesus1:14:40has to save us. And did Jesus not save1:14:42us? And so, babe, that's let's let's I1:14:44know you struggle with that, but that's1:14:46why God says, "My thoughts are not your1:14:47thoughts. My way is not your way."1:14:49Right? And be like, "That's that's1:14:50that's why God wants us to distrust our1:14:53thoughts." So, I'm not saying you're1:14:54wrong for anything, okay? And I'm not1:14:56saying like, you know, we all snap,1:14:58right? Kind of, you know, make him feel1:15:00okay and then be like, "But or and, I'm1:15:03sorry, and that's why we need Jesus."1:15:05Don't use butt. And that's why Jesus1:15:07died for us and that's why Jesus lives1:15:09for us. So every time we trust our1:15:11thoughts, then [snorts] we act like1:15:13Satan. Would you agree? He's like,1:15:14"Yeah, of course." Then that's why we1:15:16shouldn't trust our thoughts. So1:15:17whenever you're about to snap, all I ask1:15:19is just remember what I said. Our1:15:20thoughts are not our thoughts. Our1:15:22thoughts are not God's thoughts. Our1:15:23thoughts are not his way, right? And so1:15:25just try and try and do that. And I'm1:15:27here for you, honey. Whatever you want1:15:28and need me to do, like, I'm here for1:15:30you. And then that will allow him to be1:15:31like, "Huh, that's really cool." you1:15:33know, right? Dang, thanks for saying1:15:36that. I've been thinking lately, am I1:15:37detached or am I just finally grounded?1:15:38I'm not used to it. Yep. Yep. Why should1:15:41I feel guilty for playing a video game?1:15:44Um, I mean, that's kind of like you made1:15:47up your mind, right? You're saying1:15:49basically you shouldn't. So, you don't1:15:50have to. You don't have to. But what I'm1:15:53saying is if [snorts] you're uh sitting1:15:55there and you're spending a lot of time1:15:57playing the video game um when you can1:15:59be, you know, preaching the gospel, I1:16:01would say you don't have to feel guilty,1:16:02but you should feel some kind of1:16:04conviction. Amen. You don't have to feel1:16:06guilty, but you should definitely1:16:08definitely um you know, feel some kind1:16:12of conviction. The time you spend, you1:16:13know, 2 hours, let's say, playing1:16:15playing a video game, you could spend1:16:16two hours reading the Bible, right? It's1:16:19just kind of what it comes down to. Can1:16:21God make us surrender without trials and1:16:23tribulations? Um, that depends. It1:16:27depends on your heart posture. A God can1:16:29do anything, but it depends on your1:16:30heart. He doesn't want to force you to1:16:32do anything. So, the trials and1:16:34tribulations don't just come from God.1:16:36They come from ourselves. You you don't1:16:39have to, you know, uh, go through those1:16:42things. You can just surrender. But the1:16:44issue is we we don't want to. Like, deep1:16:47down, we genuinely don't want to to,1:16:49right? And it's not because we don't1:16:51want to cuz we're so evil. We don't want1:16:53to because there's things that we've1:16:54fortified in our heart to to that would1:16:56not allow us to sometimes. But you have1:16:59to let go of those things in order to1:17:01let go of those things. That's what God1:17:02allows you to do. Allows these trials1:17:04and tribulations to to make you let go.1:17:06Right? If I walk through the hood, for1:17:09example, and I have gold chains and, you1:17:11know, bust down rolly and I'm probably1:17:13going to get robbed. It's not God1:17:15allowed it. And it's not even that like,1:17:18you know, um I wanted that, but if I go1:17:21that path, most likely nine times out of1:17:2410, it's going to hurt me and I'm going1:17:25to get hurt. In the same way, God's1:17:27like, look, I've wrote this in the1:17:29Bible. I don't want you to trust1:17:30yourself, but clearly you want to trust1:17:32yourself still. I wrote to you that1:17:34self-righteousness is really dirty and1:17:36filthy. It's going to make you dirty and1:17:37filthy, and it's going to affect every1:17:38part of your life. But hey, you don't1:17:40want to listen to me. So then, okay,1:17:42then go and walk. And when you walk,1:17:43that's when trials and tribulations pop1:17:45up. You get what I'm saying? You1:17:47understand what I'm saying? So that's1:17:49kind of what it comes down to at the end1:17:50of the day, right? People are very1:17:55hardened and they know that they're1:17:57hardened. They know like which one of us1:18:00doesn't know that we're hardened. You1:18:02know, we know, right? And the people who1:18:05say that they're not are the most1:18:06hardened people because they fail to1:18:08acknowledge how hardened they truly are,1:18:10you know? And so that's kind of like the1:18:13one thing that God is trying to always1:18:14teach us. It's like you're nothing. Just1:18:17accept that you're v be vulnerable.1:18:19You're it's okay right now. Don't just1:18:22go out there and tell everybody all your1:18:24business. But it's like tell the people1:18:26who you trust and tell the people who1:18:27are ready to hear the truth. Those1:18:29things to the rest like you shouldn't.1:18:31Right? But you have to at least be1:18:32truthful with yourself internally is1:18:34what I'm saying. Amen. Right. Okay. Can1:18:39you explain the proverb of a dog1:18:41returning to his vomit? Um, so that's1:18:44not really a proverb, but it's in second1:18:46Peter chapter 2. He quotes other1:18:48scriptures as well. Um, I mean it is1:18:51proverbs, but I think more importantly1:18:53than anything, it's more of like a it's1:18:57not something that you would explain as1:19:00a salvific issue. What I mean by that is1:19:02not saying that believers will lose1:19:03salvation when they struggle. Understand1:19:06what I'm saying, right? So a fool1:19:08returned to his folly, right? [snorts]1:19:12Folly means what? Casil. It means a1:19:15fool. Someone who what? Rejects wisdom.1:19:18So what I'm talking about right now is1:19:20actually what I just what this is1:19:22talking about is what I spoke about.1:19:24Understand what I'm saying, right? A1:19:26fool in Proverbs specifically is a1:19:29person who continuously rejects Jesus1:19:31and continuously exalts their own1:19:33self-righteousness. That's what he's1:19:35talking about. You know, King Solomon is1:19:37talking about his own heart because he1:19:39was he was wise, but he realized how1:19:40foolish he was because in the end,1:19:42right, he realizes all these things are1:19:44in vain. He had a thousand women. He had1:19:47mountains of gold, diamonds, silver, and1:19:49he was wiser than anybody till this day.1:19:52Smarter than anybody. But the issue was1:19:54he missed Jesus as the wisdom, right?1:19:57But in the end, he really didn't because1:19:59he wrote about Jesus. Understand? But he1:20:01had to go through all of that to realize1:20:03who he really was is what I'm saying,1:20:06right? And so again, there's always1:20:07point, right? Going back to what you1:20:10already harmed you, right? Is is what1:20:13dogs do. It's what we do, right? Right.1:20:16It's people who hear the truth, reject1:20:19the truth, and then like, you know,1:20:22never change nature, right? That's what1:20:24Peter talks about in 2 Peter 2:22,1:20:26right? And so, you know, um, even if a1:20:31dog doesn't return to its vomit, it's1:20:34still a dog is what he's also saying.1:20:36And even if a sheep, although it1:20:38wanders, it's still, you know, under the1:20:41shepherd. Understand? So, in the same1:20:43way, God is trying to explain to us that1:20:45it's not a salvation issue, right? Amen.1:20:48It's just, you know, right? It's just1:20:51how it is the end of the day. Um, I'm1:20:54bringing you for all of my hard1:20:56conversations. I also come off so1:20:57aggressive to my family that I love and1:20:59I don't understand why. They have never1:21:01hurt me. My past hurt me. So, why do I1:21:03get frustrated? Kind of what I said,1:21:05right? What I what I said. Um, cuz we're1:21:08sensitive, you know, and um it's just1:21:13how it is. And that's okay. That's okay.1:21:15You know, and and when we realize that1:21:19um it's it's it's not a problem. You1:21:21know who here is insensitive? You know,1:21:23we're all that way, [snorts] right?1:21:26Amen. Right. What helps you stay awake1:21:28when you know you have tasks to do like1:21:30studying, reading the gospel, cleaning,1:21:31and even going into the shower. The only1:21:33time it's only sometimes what it's1:21:35horrible habit from time to time. Also,1:21:37what helps you keep your thoughts1:21:38organized? The pastor, the Bible,1:21:41believe it or not, the congregation.1:21:43When I'm preaching to you guys, you guys1:21:45don't know I'm actually preaching 99% to1:21:47myself. The things that I say to you1:21:49guys, I see myself in you guys a lot.1:21:52From the stubbornness to the big1:21:54brainness to the perfectionism to the1:21:56sensitivity to the uh rebuking of the1:21:59chastisement to wanting to leave to, you1:22:02know, answer my question to main1:22:04character energy to uh also loving mom1:22:07people to unlocking and to it's not1:22:09always all bad, right? To submitting1:22:12like to surrendering to clicking to oh1:22:15wow, it makes sense. Like I see all of1:22:16that. So I it makes me feel thankful to1:22:19be able to sit here and kind of go1:22:20through those things, but that's what1:22:21organizes everything for me at the end1:22:24of the day, right? Thanks for being1:22:26vulnerable. This is relatable for sure.1:22:28Yep. Yep. Yep. We're all sensitive and1:22:30it's it's okay, right? Understand? Like1:22:34it's it's not a problem. No, we are we1:22:36are this type of way. Uh and it's always1:22:39going to be that way, right? Um yeah, I1:22:42see. Sorry, I'm just reading back on all1:22:44of these things.1:22:46um here. So, there's a lot of comments1:22:50that I'm going through. Dang. Let me1:22:51just jump back down. If you guys um have1:22:54any other questions, please re ask them.1:22:57Every other year, I have suffer severe1:22:58unexplained pain. I'm terrified this1:23:00year to feel that physical pain. I can't1:23:01go through that again. I'm unafraid and1:23:04alive. I don't know what to do. I know1:23:06to have faith in God, but I'm having1:23:08trouble waiting on him. Well, God will1:23:10ultimately hold on to you, right? Um and1:23:12pray for that. talk to him exactly how1:23:14you spoke to me and said what you said.1:23:16Say that to God. Lord, I I don't know. I1:23:18want to have faith, but it's very1:23:19terrifying and it hurts. So, please, can1:23:21you help me with this? And I know you1:23:22will understand what I'm saying. It's1:23:24just part of it. Right. Right. All1:23:28righty. How could you tell if God is1:23:30protecting you from things that aren't1:23:31for you? By repeatedly closing doors.1:23:34So, if if God is, you know, closing a1:23:36certain door, he's always pro protecting1:23:38you. He's not rejecting you, right? So1:23:40if it keeps closing or like things fall1:23:42off, then let it fall off. Don't try to1:23:44hold on to anything, right? Make sense?1:23:47If it's if it's something that God wants1:23:49to remove, he's going to remove it.1:23:51Whether you if you want to hold on to1:23:52something and God wants to remove it,1:23:54best believe he's going to remove it.1:23:56And even if you don't want if you want1:23:58something removed so bad in your life,1:23:59but it keeps you closer to God, best1:24:00believe he's going to keep it there.1:24:02Just ask Paul. He had a thorn on his1:24:04side until he died. Understand what I'm1:24:07saying? Amen, brothers and sisters.1:24:09Right. Amen. Uh, you put my bro put my1:24:13heart on blast yesterday. Yeah. Yeah. I1:24:15mean, it's just we're all like that, you1:24:17know, and it [snorts] gets sensitive,1:24:18right? But I I don't hate you guys. I'm1:24:20not putting your heart on blast cuz I1:24:21hate you. I'm actually just saying it1:24:23because it it needs to be said, you1:24:26know? Me, too. Like, I I I have issues,1:24:28too. Like, come on. I'm not perfect,1:24:30right? And and you know, Pastor Kim puts1:24:33me on blast a lot. Like, you know, in1:24:35front of the congregation, too,1:24:36sometimes. in front of uh definitely in1:24:39front of other pastors. Now it's1:24:40different brothers and sisters. You1:24:42getting put on blast in front of1:24:43brothers and sisters. Yo, it's it's much1:24:45different than you getting put on blast1:24:48in front of pastors. Do you understand?1:24:50Like that's way different, you know?1:24:52It's it's very difficult for me. And for1:24:54the first time in my life, like for the1:24:56first part of my walk, I'm sorry, in my1:24:58spiritual life, it was very difficult. I1:25:01like, bro, why you talk like this in1:25:02front of all the other pastors and you1:25:04know that's why they look at me like I'm1:25:05stupid and blah blah blah. But it's like1:25:07at the end of the day, I learned that1:25:08it's okay to. Right. Amen. Right. I'm1:25:12honestly tired of the life of sin, but I1:25:14always find myself giving in. I smoke,1:25:16weed, drink, fall into lust, and I want1:25:18to stop, but I can't stop. I've been1:25:20trying to read my Bible and listen to1:25:21you and others that speak the gospel,1:25:22but I don't know how to stop. That's the1:25:23whole point is realizing that you1:25:25cannot. Or you've tried everything and1:25:27and you're trying. You know, the the1:25:29point is not to try harder. We've1:25:31already failed. The point is to let go1:25:34and to go, you know what, God, this is1:25:36who I am. You trying to stop yourself is1:25:40still you trying to save yourself.1:25:42Sheesh. There is only one savior. It's1:25:45Jesus Christ. When you realize you1:25:47can't, that's why Jesus died for you.1:25:50What you're going through is normal. You1:25:53can't do it. I can't stop being1:25:55sensitive. You can't stop being lustful.1:25:57Fine. No worries. That's why Jesus has1:25:59to do it. And those who don't struggle1:26:01with lust, of course they can say just1:26:02stop because they receive grace to do1:26:04that. But you tell them to stop sinning1:26:06and they won't be able to either. Sin is1:26:09only a problem to you. Your drinking,1:26:11your lust, your weed. It's only those1:26:13addictions are only a problem to you.1:26:15They don't affect God and they're not a1:26:17problem to God. But that's why we have1:26:19to believe, oh God, you can change this1:26:21and you will and you have technically.1:26:23Understand what I'm saying, right? Amen.1:26:27Yeah. No, I don't think God sends signs1:26:29like that. You got to be cautious, you1:26:31know. Yeah. Um I would say, you know,1:26:36kind of kind of be careful with those1:26:38things. It doesn't send signs like that.1:26:40If you trust yourself too much and he'll1:26:41send you those it's it's the enemy who1:26:43will send you things like that. Look at1:26:45the number 777 40 and 25 and 4 and 9.1:26:48It's like no. Yeah. Focus on the gospel,1:26:52right? Amen. Understand? All right. How1:26:56do we strengthen our discernment by1:26:57reading the Bible more? Amen. By reading1:27:00the Bible more, right? That's what it1:27:02comes down to at the end of the day.1:27:03Learning from the people that love me to1:27:05stop complaining, smile, and be happy1:27:07that led me to the grace in this world.1:27:08Amen. Amen. Uh is coming in here1:27:11considered church? I would say I would1:27:12say so. When two or three are gathered,1:27:14right? And then we have fellowship here1:27:16and you know obviously you guys are you1:27:18know not speaking to me but you are1:27:20through text, right? So yeah, I would1:27:21say I would say can someone of even1:27:25though go to church um often1:27:27unconsciously fall to sin. Um well well1:27:30what is sin right? Sin is an identity1:27:33and the actions of sin yes can happen if1:27:35you trust your thoughts and you trust1:27:36the false identity. Who you were versus1:27:39who you are right and so yes you can but1:27:43that's kind of what it comes down to.1:27:45Amen. Right. Wait this Jeremy. Oh shoot1:27:49sorry. Sorry. I am supposed to go then.1:27:51If he's trying to get my attention, then1:27:53I got to go over there. Let me see.1:27:55Yeah, let me let me um let me actually1:27:58head out then if he was. Yep, I see it1:28:00now. All right, guys. I'll see you guys1:28:01later. Bye.
