Transcript of How To Stay Consistent With God | Discord Stage #033
Unlearned Wisdom by Johnny Chang
0:00Welcome back to another Mainstage. This0:02is where I talk directly with my0:04community. I tell personal stories, deep0:06biblical learnings, and I answer0:08questions directly from the chat. These0:10episodes are audio only. So, thank you0:12guys for listening and tuning in. And0:14you can join my Discord to catch the0:15next mainstage live. Okay, let's get0:18started. Good evening. Sheesh, it's kind0:22of late for some of y'all. However, we0:24should do the work. I'm just kidding.0:26How you guys doing? Okay, good. Good.0:28Good. Genaggin I have questions about0:31what I need to do if I'm stuck on0:33spiritual analysis paralysis. I always0:34pray to him that I want to move to tell0:37the truth about him but I don't know how0:39to do it because I'm worried that if I0:40decide to move on my own it will fail0:42and just want or just wait for his0:45timing because he's the one who sets it0:46up. I think if you move either way God0:48will bless it right so so if you're0:50moving God will bless and it's really0:53important to just move and see how God's0:55going to work. Amen. Why was I0:58embarrassed when people find out I1:00followed Jesus? Oh, that's normal1:02because we're still kind of living for1:05for man instead of living for for God.1:09And everybody goes through that, right?1:11Naturally, people are going to go1:13through that. [snorts] And so, yeah,1:14that's just how it is. So, it's it's1:17okay to feel embarrassed, but you got1:18you got to keep pushing forward, right?1:20I need to hear the word. Amen. Why was I1:22embarrassed when people Oh, I'm sorry.1:24Hey, Johnny. I tried messaging on CO1:26website about 2 months ago. Finding a1:28church near me. I haven't gotten a1:29response yet. Just making sure I did it1:30correctly. You did uh bump it back up1:32cuz we're trying to still push. Right.1:35Struggling with boundaries as a1:36Christian. It it depends, right? Like1:39what you think is a boundary versus what1:42is a biblical boundary. So you can say1:45no and then if the person respects you,1:48they will take the no. Right? If if they1:50don't respect you, however, they're not1:53going to take the no. Right? So, it's1:55important to kind of set the boundary1:58and just see how they're going to1:59dictate or respect your boundary. You2:01can set the boundary. You can't make2:02them respect the boundary. But if they2:04don't respect the boundary, then you can2:06see, oh, they didn't respect me in the2:08first place. And that's okay. Straight2:10to questions. This guy is different.2:12Yeah. May I ask when does Orlando after2:15service Oh, it takes a little while.2:17Maybe a couple weeks, maybe a month. Is2:19there is this where people are asking2:21questions? Yes. Yes, you can ask your2:22questions. All righty. How do I stay2:24consistent with reading the Bible and2:26being in touch with God? Staying2:27consistent with God is is it's2:29constantly reading your Bible. So, it2:32kind of is a similar, you know, answer2:35to both of these questions, but you have2:37to keep reading your Bible. That's how2:39you stay consistent with him. And then2:41to be able to be in touch with God, you2:43also have to keep reading your Bible.2:46Right here, here's the thing, right? So,2:49so a lot of people don't realize that2:52they want like theological clarity,2:54which means like they want to learn2:56about the Bible, right? I think every2:57single one of you guys wants to learn3:00about the Bible, but there there's a3:02root issue. Okay? For example, like if3:05I'm sitting here and let's say I'm3:06chastising or if I'm teaching or if even3:09God is teaching through the servant,3:11right? Many of us, we have issues with3:14things like understanding, clarity,3:17tonality,3:19right? Authority, trust, things like3:21that, right? So, when you read the3:24Bible, I'll give you an example.3:26Sometimes when Jesus speaks, he says3:28things in the Bible that are very harsh,3:30right? He'll say things like, "They're3:32not ready to listen." Or he'll straight3:34up ignore people like Pontis Pilate, or3:36he'll ignore King Herod. When he does3:38this, right, it's not about tonality.3:41Obviously, he seems like frustrated, but3:43it's that's not really what it is with3:45Jesus and with God and with the3:47servants, specifically me as well. It's3:50always about authority. It's always3:51about trust and it's always about, you3:54know, the the the heart posture, right?3:57But human beings, all of us here have a4:00heart to resist correction. So, when4:02you're reading the Bible, the Bible4:04corrects us, but we don't like to, we4:07don't like to do that. We kind of like4:09we're like the tonality police, right?4:11We want we want to be told we we seek a4:14lot of things, right? But we don't4:18actually understand what surrender4:19really means, right? So for example, you4:22know, if in John 6-66,4:27Jesus says, "This is a hard saying, who4:29can hear it?" Hard saying, right?4:31Jeremiah, for example, was literally4:33accused of being harsh, negative, and4:35unloving. Right? So when a person says4:38something like, "I want to read the4:39Bible to get close, but I also or I want4:41to follow, let's say, I want to follow4:43Johnny Chang, but I don't like when he4:45gets frustrated, so I want to kind of4:48like step away from this and come back4:50in." That sounds mature, but what they4:53don't realize is they're saying and4:54they're screaming in their hearts, I4:56want to decide what parts of God's word4:58applies to me. So that's not4:59discernment, guys, right? That is self-5:02authority, you know, that's that's5:04cloaked as like a spiritual maturity,5:07right? A lot of people don't realize5:09like the Bible, it's going to come from5:11like correction comes from the Bible for5:14like soul protection, not self-p5:17protection or self-preservation, right?5:19You're not correcting against people.5:20You're correcting for people. So, the5:23Bible never says correction will feel5:25gentle to the flesh. Actually, if you5:27look at Proverbs 27:6, it says,5:29"Faithful are the wounds of a friend,5:31but the kisses of an enemy are5:32deceitful." So, gentleness in scripture5:34is not this softness of tonality.5:38Gentleness is absence of self and5:42self-interest. Understand what I'm5:44saying? Right? So, we have to really5:47think deeply here, right? The real issue5:49with a lot of us here and why we won't5:51grow cuz you're talking about being5:53consistent in reading the Bible, right?5:55is one thing, right? It's because we6:00accessorize truth too much. Do you guys6:02understand that? So, when I say we6:04accessorize truth too much, what does6:07this mean? What does it mean? People,6:09they love consuming truth, but nobody6:13really likes submitting to truth. And6:15I'll give you an example. People, you6:17guys love learning. You love insight.6:20You love clarity. You love theology. You6:23love even correction. as long as it's6:25not you, as long as it's correction from6:27others, right? But what what a lot of us6:29resist is repentance. We resist6:32surrender. We resist distrusting of6:34ourselves. We re resist being told, "You6:38are not the authority. Your life is in6:39tatters." We don't like that, right?6:41That's why people will say things like,6:43"Can we just preach the gospel?" Right?6:45Understand what I'm saying? Right? But6:47the gospel will always expose your6:50heart. Right? Make sense? The gospel is6:53is is always actually correction. Amen.6:56Right. So when a person is is focused on7:01tonality,7:02when they're focused on correction and7:05they're sp focused on performative like7:08gentleness, right? What happens then is7:11they have to be able to see, right? Oh,7:14maybe, you know, kind of crooked in this7:17way, right? So, so scripture speaks7:21about this very clearly, right?7:24We have to realize that trauma is real,7:27sensitivity is real, right? But I want7:30you guys to understand one thing.7:32Scripture doesn't bend for your trauma.7:35It doesn't bend to your sensitivity.7:37Sensitivity. If anything, you have to7:39bend your sensitivity to the word. You7:41have to bend your trauma to the word.7:43Understand what I'm saying? You guys got7:45that? But many people, I'm starting to7:47see this pattern of like, I mess with7:50you and I love the clarity that you7:52have. I love the insight. I love the7:54theology. I love the correction for7:56others, but I'm not going to bend if it8:01comes to me having to submit myself and8:03submit to the truth. I rather you be8:05nicer to me. Do you guys understand what8:07I'm saying? Right, guys? And so, it8:10happened even earlier in the main stage,8:12right? A lot of people, even in the8:14chat, I can see they leak a lot, right?8:17Oh, you know, when I hear Johnny speak,8:19I just leave a little bit and I come8:20back in, right? This is kind of sad in8:23that they don't want to be corrected.8:26That's the issue. Do you understand what8:29I'm saying? They think it's gathering8:30their thoughts, but like I said, they8:33step out because they think, "Ah, this8:35is something that, you know, the tone8:37and the delivery and the the personality8:40and and the the the the feel loving this8:42type of heart posture." It's basically8:45like I'm going to decide again what8:47parts of God's word applies to me. Do8:50you guys understand what I'm saying?8:52Right? So, it's okay, you know, to feel8:55sensitive. Like, we all are at one8:57point, but there's a point where it's9:00like, I can't keep my sensitivity,9:03right? I I can't continue to accept9:06that. Do you guys understand what I'm9:07saying? Right? That's what it comes down9:10to. But many people, it's it's I'm9:12noticing that there's a heart posture9:15that's just like, I like the theology. I9:19like the, you know, insight, but I don't9:23I don't care genuinely about submission.9:26Amen. Amen. So, it's really, really sad,9:30right? People like again the things that9:33I unlock for them. But then spiritual9:36life, guys, is not just about unlocking.9:39Do you know what spiritual life actually9:41is? It's about correction, realignment,9:45right? It's about being born again. And9:48it's about, you know, the heart only9:51focusing on the gospel, right? So, you9:55know, people tend to kind of9:57accessorize, right? But if you9:59accessorize, then what happens then is10:02you only will listen when you want to10:06listen, when you think it's good for10:09you. Amen. Like we have people even in10:11our in our home churches who will leave10:14like this church because they don't like10:15Pastor John and they'll go to like10:17Pastor Kim, right? It's like they only10:20bend based off of like what they think10:23is good. And that's fine, but that's10:25going to hinder a lot of you guys. So if10:28you want to stay consistent with God,10:30you have to also sit there and realize10:32God, what is it that you know I want to10:35learn from you? Cuz we've we've led our10:38lives, brothers and sisters. We've led10:39our lives. And then if you really think10:41about it deeply, you you you didn't lead10:43it correctly. Amen. That's just what it10:45is. And so it's weird that we know we10:48didn't lead it correctly, but we still10:49think we can lead some of it. If you10:51have that inside of you and that10:53mindset, then you will fail miserably.10:55It's just the truth. It's just the10:57truth, you know? Right. So I I've I've11:00again seen some conversations about11:03tonality and correction and how truth is11:05delivered, right? And I want to say this11:07clearly. I'm not fighting with you guys.11:09I'm fighting for you guys. Correction11:11doesn't come from anger. It comes from11:13my sense of urgency. Not the urgency to11:16be right, but the urgency for your your11:18your souls to grow. Do you guys11:20understand what I'm saying? I want your11:22souls to grow, right? Not in a forceful11:24manner, but genuinely, I think like11:26there's a little bit of stagnancy at11:28times. So again, the Bible never11:31promises that truth is going to be11:33gentle to your flesh. actually right11:36when you look at the scripture it's11:38opposite the heart which is the flesh11:41will always resist the truth because the11:44heart loves to trust itself it's just11:46how it is guys it's just how it is11:49understand so this space that I've built11:51this this discord that I've built was11:54never to just be a place where we11:56collect you know insight and clarity and11:59learn theology or take you know what12:02benefits us and leaves the rest maybe12:04for someone who's not a believer Fine.12:06You guys are all believers here. So, we12:08got to kind of level up. The reason why12:09I built this platform is is four things.12:12Number one, so that we stop trusting12:14ourselves. Number two, so that we stop12:17leaning on our own understanding. This12:19is all biblical, right? Number three was12:22to start edifying the word of God and12:25only the word of God. And number four,12:27so that we start surrendering to Christ.12:29Do you guys understand what I'm saying?12:31This is what I built this for. It's not12:32just a place to hang out and be cool and12:34dump. We're not here for trauma dumping.12:36I'm not a therapist, right? So, if12:39correction feels uncomfortable to you12:41guys, I hope you guys don't12:43automatically dumb it down to, oh, you12:45know, it's because Johnny's unloving12:48genuinely sometimes it just means that12:50God is trying to speak and kind of press12:53into the place that you're kind of12:55sensitive at, right? And he wants you to12:58grow out of that. If you're here only to13:00learn but not be corrected when you13:02don't learn correctly. If you're only13:05here to grow in knowledge but not13:06actually surrender to that knowledge. If13:09you're only here to consume the truth13:11but not obey the truth. Then the issue13:14is not tonality. It's not my tonality13:17anymore. The issue is you don't trust13:18me. Do you understand? You don't trust13:20the servant. Do you guys you guys got13:22that right? And if that's the case, I'm13:25not asking anyone to follow me, but I am13:27asking everyone to follow Jesus. That's13:29what I'm saying, right? I'm not telling13:31you guys follow me. I'm telling all of13:33y'all to follow Jesus. I've always done13:35this. And and if what I'm saying is13:38unbiblical, challenge the scripture, no13:40problem. But if the scripture is clear,13:42then I don't think I think a copout13:45would be, you know, we got to soften up13:48to to protect ourselves, right? Do you13:50guys understand what I'm saying? This13:52space that I've created, I'm sorry to13:54say, will always be gospel- centered.13:56But the gospel is always like a sword13:59that's going to cut before it comforts14:01you, right? It has to kill before it14:05resurrects. So, if you're alive, the14:07gospel has to kill you and then14:09resurrect you. If you're high-hearted14:11and prideful, it has to humble you and14:13break you before it heals you. That's14:16what the gospel does, brothers and14:17sisters. It's not me, right? And and14:19here's one thing I can always promise14:21you guys. I will always choose to fight14:24for your soul. Even if it's at the cost14:27of your comfort. I'm sorry, but that's14:30what a real steward does. Okay? I will14:33always choose to fight for your soul14:35even if it comes at the cost of your14:37comfort. I'm sorry. Understand what I'm14:39saying, right? And it's okay if you guys14:41need to step away briefly. It's okay if14:43you guys feel like ah, you know, this is14:46kind of too much. That's okay. That's14:49okay, right? But it is not okay for14:52truth to be redefined as harm, to be14:55redefined as harsh, to be redefined as,14:58you know, oh, he don't care about us15:01because that's just not the truth.15:03Understand what I'm saying, right? I I15:05just want people to get out of this15:07mindset that, oh, I'm here and I love15:11truth and consuming truth and hearing15:13about truth, but I'm not going to15:14surrender to truth. Do you guys15:16understand? Truth is not just to be15:17consumed, it's to be surrendered to.15:20Anybody disagree with this? Right?15:22Anybody disagree with this? No. Right.15:25Amen. Right. Hey, if you're enjoying15:28this episode, I have a whole other video15:30episode on all platforms, YouTube,15:32Spotify, Instagram, all that every15:34single Monday. Each episode is a gospel-15:37centered lesson that you could apply to15:39your life today. So, this is more15:41conversational. You guys know my team,15:43Jeremy and Aaron. We just have a lot of15:45fun. We joke around, but we get serious.15:47We get vulnerable. It's just very, very15:50different and it's beautiful. I hope you15:52guys can tune in. And we made this for15:54you guys. So, please enjoy. So,15:56Galatians 4:16, let me write this up for15:58you guys, right? A lot of people don't16:00like this, but it's true, right? Am I16:02therefore become your enemy because I16:04tell you the truth, right? Now, when16:06he's speaking to the church of Galatia,16:07these are believers obviously. And what16:09he's telling them is, "Oh, ye foolish16:11Galatians." the content. He calls them16:14fools. Hey, you foolish Galatians,16:17right? Right. It's it's so it's so16:19clear, right? When we look at the full16:21Galatians here, let me just pull up the16:23scripture here. So, he speaks to them,16:25right? When you look at Galatians 3, I16:27think it's 1:3. Give me a second here.16:29Oh, yeah. Here it is. 1:3. So, so16:32chapter 4, I mean, chapter 3 is prefaced16:35by chapter 4. So, let's read it16:37carefully. Okay. Oh foolish Galatians,16:40who hath bewitched you that you should16:43not obey the truth, you see that not the16:46law, the truth, before whose eyes Jesus16:49hath evidently set forth crucified among16:52you. This only what I learn of you16:56received you the spirit by the works of16:58the law or by by or by hearing the of17:00faith. Are you so foolish having begun17:03in the spirit? Are you now made perfect17:05by the flesh? Do you understand what17:07he's saying, brothers and sisters? He's17:09saying, "You've become righteous. You're17:11a new creature. You heard truth. But why17:14is it now that you want to become17:16perfect in the flesh? Why do you want17:19expect other people to be perfect in the17:21flesh?" Do you guys get what I'm saying?17:23You guys understand? Right? Who here17:25doesn't have blemishes? And who here17:27doesn't have flaws? I think every one of17:28us has issues. Right. Right. And yet we17:32expect other people to not be this way,17:35to not be fleshly, guys. We're all17:37fleshly. It's okay. But the issue is I17:41want everybody to react a certain way.17:43And I want everybody to, you know, not17:46spit truth as long as I'm comfortable.17:48Guys, do you know how churches become17:50corrupted? I'll tell you. Comfort,17:52comfortability. Being the cool church,17:55being the hip church, being the17:57compromising church, being the church18:00that goes, "Man, I'm cool. I accept18:03everybody, gays, you know, LGBT,18:06whatever." Like, this is when they start18:07to compromise because they want to be18:09cool and they want to bend truth for18:12comfort. But that's exactly what the18:15enemy wants. You understand, brothers?18:18Right. Amen. Right. So, I hope you guys18:21can, you know, think deeply about this18:24and yeah, you guys can ask your18:26questions again. I just have to address18:27this because I think a lot of people are18:30very kind of stuck on that, right? Stuck18:33on I I love what you say, Johnny, but18:35like can you not say it the way I don't18:38like it, [laughter]18:39right? It's like what? All right.18:43They should be they should but at the18:45same time they should be welcome if they18:46are open to change. Yeah, of course. Of18:49course. But what I'm saying is, you18:52know, if a person is has their way set,18:55they I mean they're what's welcoming18:58about that, right? So I'm not saying19:01that people are open to change. If19:03they're open to change them, you know,19:04they would change, right? Just broke up19:07with my girlfriend for like 2 to 3 weeks19:09now, but we still love each other. Oops,19:11you removed it. Okay. I'm really19:14struggling with this. If I get deployed19:16in a combat zone and I have to kill an19:17enemy, does that mean I'm going to hell?19:20No. I think you have to watch the19:21salvation video, right? Going to hell is19:23not, oh, you know, I shot somebody and I19:25killed somebody, right? Um, going to19:28hell is if I continuously re uh reject19:31the gospel and believe that God will19:33take care of you. Do you think you'll19:35ever come to Canada? Yes, definitely.19:37Today, I was being dragged by thoughts19:38and expectations. One thing that Pastor19:40Kim told me was that my problem is that19:41I don't want any problems. Yep. My19:43thoughts told me that I should do better19:45and work harder. But pastor told me that19:46I have so much to be thankful for. When19:49I focus on grace rather than19:51circumstances, peace entered my heart.19:53Amen. A amen. Amen. Facts. Good. I just19:56slept with the father of my children.19:57Things have been so toxic. And I already19:59told him he needs to move out on the20:0111th. He's been stepping up and helping20:03more and suddenly treating me with what20:04I perceive as respect. I know my fault20:07doesn't not justify my distrustful20:08reasoning. So convicted right now. I20:11don't think the issue is you sleeping20:12around. And I think I think the issue is20:14you know salvation right he has to20:17receive salvation and you know all of us20:21do so that's something that we have to20:23focus on right I just broke up with my20:25girlfriend like 2 weeks now but we still20:27love each other I don't want to20:28reconcile I do want to reconcile with20:30her but I don't know that it is is it20:32actually what I'm supposed to do in this20:34position I don't want to base decisions20:36on my feelings and my own understanding.20:38No, that's good. That's good. I think20:40take a little bit of time, you know,20:41take a little bit of time. I think if20:43you focus on the relationship that20:45bleeds into all other relationships,20:46you'll be good, you know. So, take a20:48little bit of time, right? Can you20:50explain conviction? Is conviction the20:52voice in your head or God speaking to20:53you? No. It's God speaking to you to20:56you, but not the voice in your head, but20:58the scripture in the book. So,21:01conviction always comes from the Bible.21:03It always comes from scripture, not just21:05feelings. Because how do you know if21:07you're being convicted or condemned?21:08Right? Both of them kind of sound21:10familiar, but which one's actually going21:12to help you? Right? So, conviction will21:15always push you towards God.21:17Condemnation will push you away from21:18God. All right. God lately has been21:20putting me in situations to build my21:22spiritual life by giving me the chance21:24to choose between trusting my thoughts21:26or going to him. What prayer heart21:28should I bring to God for not for me to21:30not trust to stop trusting my thoughts21:31and get out of me feeling comfortable? I21:34think you should just continue to live21:36and bring everything to God. Every21:39single thing, even this situation, you21:42should bring to God.21:43>> Right.21:44>> Right. But that's why we have to go to21:46God. Hey pastor, sometimes while I'm21:48reading the Bible, I'll see how21:49something applies to a specific21:51situation I'm in and I'll try and apply21:54it in ways not fully related to the21:56Bible. For example, some people are kind21:58of like Herod with the wise men,22:00pretending to care but having ulterior22:02motives. Is that wrong to do? Not22:04necessarily. You can do that, but you22:07got to be cautious because again, they22:09may not be like King Herod and we may be22:11misjudging them. So, the Bible always22:13points to Jesus, right? Not to other22:15people. I think it's important to kind22:17of keep reading and kind of learning,22:19right? It's, you know, will you ever22:22come to Michigan? Yeah. I mean, I'm22:24hoping to do so, you know, very soon,22:27but I I don't know when exactly to be22:29honest. next year is kind of kind of22:32booked out. So, we're we're going to do22:34all of that. In Exodus, when God hardens22:36Pharaoh's heart, is it the Pharaoh22:39hardening his own heart or God doing22:41this? So, Pharaoh hardened his own heart22:44first and then God later hardens what22:47Pharaoh already has chosen. So, God will22:51not override anyone's will. Right? So22:54before you know the Bible even says God22:56hardened Pharaoh's heart, it repeatedly22:59says Pharaoh hardened his own heart.23:02Pharaoh refused to listen. Pharaoh23:04chose, you know, everything other than23:07God. He resisted. It starts, I believe,23:10in Exodus 7, Exodus 8. And Pharaoh's23:13heart was hardened. Neither did he23:15listen, right? But when Pharaoh saw that23:17he was, you know, desperate, he hardened23:19his heart. And Pharaoh hardened his23:21heart at this time also. So, you know,23:23there's these a lot of this stuff where23:25he keeps hardening his heart. And then23:28in verse 9, 10, and 11, I'm sorry,23:30Exodus 9, 10, and 11, that's when the23:32Lord starts to harden him. And this is23:34where people think God forced Pharaoh to23:37sin, but that's not true, right?23:39Hardening is is God giving someone over23:41to their path. So, God gave them up,23:43right? In Romans 1, it's the same thing.23:45Okay, you want to harden, I'm going to23:47just give it to you then. And and that's23:48scary cuz look what happened to him. So23:51you harden, you harden, you harden, and23:53then God's going to be like, "Okay, I23:54guess you want this." Then he gives it23:56to you. And when that happens, it gets23:58scary. It gets tricky. It gets sketchy,24:02right? Amen. I know that God appointed24:04servants. So do I go to servant first,24:06then God? Or no, no, no. You go to God24:08first and then the servant. Any advice24:10for young men? Distrust your thoughts.24:12Distrust your thoughts. Follow the word24:14of God always. Right? Why is sex before24:17marriage a sin? I mean it's a sin only24:19because it breaks covenantal pattern and24:21you're under the covenant right sex24:24happens right but the sex isn't the sin24:27it's the mindset to idol worship so24:30let's say you have sex with somebody24:32right [snorts] but then you feel okay I24:36was working towards a relationship and I24:38was you know trusting in in God to lead24:40this relationship I don't think that's24:42an issue but let's say you're a virgin24:46and then you boast post. Look at all you24:48 and all of you harlots. I didn't24:50sleep around. Look at me. I saved my24:53body. You only fans girls. You evil,24:56wicked women. You right. Let's say. Who24:58do you think is worse? Yeah, they didn't25:01have sex, but they're prideful. Would25:03you say pride is worse than sex? I would25:05say so because Satan didn't have sex25:07with anybody, but he was damn sure25:09prideful.25:11So now it it comes down to this type of25:14thing. Amen. And there is no such thing25:17as soul ties, brothers and sisters.25:19There is none. The soul tie is not the25:22way you think it is. The true biblical25:24soul tie is found in Isaiah 40. And it's25:27talking about you being conjoined and25:29tied to either God or Satan. So yes,25:32there is a soul tie, but it's not the25:35one you think of. Oh, I had sex with25:37them, so now I have to like unbreak the25:39chain. Where does that say that in the25:41Bible? It doesn't even talk about that.25:44Amen. Amen. Any anybody ever asked you a25:46question like why you out of anyone? Why25:50you out of Oh my gosh, it jumped up.25:52Sorry. Where is it? Where is it? Anybody25:54ever asked you a question like why you25:57out of everyone who wasn't who hasn't25:59been saved? Why you? Like how can we26:01answer this when someone asks? It's very26:03simple. It's not why you, it's why not26:06you? You flip it right back on them.26:08What? What do you mean? Why not you?26:11Wait, let's get this right. did Jesus26:14only save me? And they'll sit there and26:16be like, well, I mean, if Jesus died26:172,000 years ago and he died for people26:19in the past and in the present and in26:21the future, then didn't he technically26:23die for you? So, the question is not why26:25me, it's why haven't you? Why haven't26:28you believed in him? Do you understand26:30what I'm saying? So, you can throw right26:33back at them. It's not, you know, oh,26:35why you? Are you so special? Like, why26:37me? Am I? No. Don't think why you?26:39Everybody got saved. Who believes26:42though? That's that's the question26:44there. Amen. Sometimes you have to26:46answer a person's question with another26:48question. Not to be sny or snarky or26:51like disrespectful, you know, but but26:54it's to get them to think outside of the26:56box. Amen. Retype your questions, guys.26:58It kind of went down a little bit.27:00Sorry. My girlfriend left because of a27:02fight we had and has been with her mom 327:06weeks, but I was arguing with her just27:08for a better life and to grow more27:10together. She never wants to help clean27:12and she's very lazy. And I love her for27:15who she is, but it's so repetitive. We27:17fight over and over for the same thing.27:19It's a never- ending cycle. And I've27:21been praying. But what do you think I27:23should do? If I'm just walking away? If27:27I'm just if I'm thinking of just walking27:29away. Oh, so you guys aren't broken up.27:31You're you're you're separated. Okay.27:33So, I mean, can I be honest with you? If27:38you genuinely love somebody, you can27:40accept them for who they are, right? But27:43I understand that it's difficult because27:46I don't think this is about cleaning. I27:48don't think this is about, you know,27:50even expectations. I think it's about27:54like alignment, right? So when when the27:57same fight keeps repeating, it's never27:59because the issue isn't, you know,28:01explained enough. It's because one28:04person is asking for change and the28:06other isn't willing to or ready to or is28:09being dragged. Right? So, if you're in a28:12cycle that produces resentment,28:15love doesn't require you to stay in that28:18cycle. You can love someone, right, and28:21still recognize, okay, they're not28:22ready. They don't share the same core28:25values that you have. You know, they're28:27not aligned with the the life that28:28you're trying to build, like you say,28:30and you attempted to help them, right?28:32But they're not seeing it as28:34partnership. They're seeing it as28:36pressure, different peace. So that that28:39doesn't make you evil or or her evil. It28:42just makes you kind of not yolked when28:44it comes to maturity and vision. And28:47that's okay, right? So wanting for28:51people to grow, wanting cleanliness, you28:54know, wanting responsibility,28:55discipline, teamwork, partnership, all28:57those things are it's okay. It's okay.29:00But you have to ask yourself, are you29:02trying to build together or are you just29:06trying to pull someone's weight around29:08who doesn't even want to move? If that's29:10the case, then it's going to get tiring29:12and taxing, right? When someone29:15continuously avoids responsibility,29:17they, you know, leave, right? they stay29:21gone for like three weeks like you say29:23that that means that there's an internal29:26conflict among them not just what you're29:28speaking to them about right amen so29:31when you look at this person right you29:33have to think okay can I have faith for29:37this person and if you don't you'll be29:40just as wrong as she is right right make29:42sense so if you're if you're like okay29:46can I choose peace and build with this29:48person can I see that you know this29:51relationship can work under God and if29:54you don't have faith in that then you're29:55just as wrong as she would be even if29:58she's causing the issues respectfully30:00right so we have to just be clear about30:03that faith overrides everything so if30:06she's weak in her faith then you can be30:09strong in your faith if she's you know30:11lazy then yeah you can be faithful to30:14like work for her you know what's wrong30:15with carrying the load of someone you30:17love let's say somebody is, you know,30:20really really like lazy like you say,30:23right? And they don't want to do30:25anything. If you love this person and30:28her laziness isn't really an issue, like30:30let's say you have the money to take it30:33and and afford her afford, you know, her30:35and and and pay for her. Genuinely,30:37there really isn't an issue if you can30:39accept her for who she is. The issue30:42arises when it's like, you're not30:44meeting my expectations and I'm done30:46with you. Okay, then that's really a you30:48problem, too. Make sense? Because30:50there's a difference between somebody30:52struggling and someone who's just30:53blatantly being like that. You can tell30:55her, "Hey, you can be mad at me cuz I30:57don't want to take your struggle30:58anymore." And if that's the case, she31:00has full right to be mad because a31:02committed relationship is not, you know,31:05I don't take your struggle. It's31:07actually no matter what struggle you31:08have, I'll take it. Either or, right?31:10Like, she could bend, too. This this31:12isn't just going your way. I don't want31:13it to sound like you're the one who's31:15having the issue, but she could also31:16come back and be like, "You know what?31:18My man is just telling me to like not be31:20lazy. Like, I could not be lazy for31:22him." So, she doesn't want to choose,31:24but then it's up to you. Do you want to31:26choose? Do you want to help her? It31:28seems as though, respectfully, you're31:31emotionally more mature. I could just31:34tell. And if you're more emotionally31:36mature, shouldn't you be the one that31:39kind of carries more of the load? Like31:40me, right? like I'm, you know, let's say31:43more spiritually or scripturally31:45inclined, let's say, in this situation,31:48right, in in in in this main stage. So,31:50shouldn't I be the one that has to then31:52lead and like express things more? What31:55if I was to go this question is not even31:57spiritual next? Then I would be wrong32:01because hello, you guys are in here to32:03be led, right? If a person is saved and32:07a person and another person is not32:09saved, who do you think has to bend? If32:11the stronger person can take more of the32:13load, who do you think has to then take32:15more of the load? The stronger person.32:18That's just God, the God honest truth.32:20But the issue is, and rightfully so, I32:22think you've made a decision to be like,32:24I don't want to. I tried and I don't32:26want to do it no more. Okay, then if32:28that's the case, it's not really a her32:30problem because there's plenty other32:32people who will take it, right? There's32:34plenty other people who can deal with32:36certain things. There's plenty other32:37people who will will come back around. I32:40know I know I know people straight up32:41that are just like they just accept32:44their their women. A lot of these the32:45women that that that they're with,32:47they're like toxic. I have a friend who32:49has a a baby mama, right? And they ended32:52up getting married just recently. And32:55it's kind of crazy, you know? This girl32:58had sex with like pretty much like all33:01these guys like like he's in a gang. So,33:04she kind of like had sex with all of his33:06like enemies like multiple like five six33:09of these other dudes, you know. And she33:11had two kids from another guy, one from33:14him. No, two from him, one from another33:16guy. She has three baby daddies33:18basically. He's one of them. But, you33:20know, he big- time, you know, dealer and33:24has a lot makes a lot of money. and he's33:26like, "You know what? I'm going just33:28take care of her." Like in his heart, he33:31was like, "That's the mother of my33:33child. Like, I'm going to just handle33:34her. It's cool." And he legit just33:37accepted it right now. Some people would33:39be like, "Yo, that's crazy." Or some33:40people be like, "Wow, that's heroic."33:42But I mean, you know, 2 weeks after she33:47went and she basically cheated on on on33:50him, even though he he married her. Did33:53the marriage didn't even last 2 weeks?33:54But what do you think he did? He forgave33:56her. Oh, that's my baby mama. So, there33:59are people who can take that and will do34:01those things. And of course, everyone34:03and their mothers has an opinion. All of34:04my friends are like, "Yo, bro, like34:06you're straight up you're just a beta34:08male. Like, how you going to let people34:10do this?" But he straight up was like,34:11"Hey, y'all ain't dating her, so so mind34:14your business." Basically, honestly,34:16he's not wrong. He's not wrong for that.34:19And so, again, it it depends,34:22right? It depends in terms of like who34:26you who you who like who's going to deal34:28with it. There is no technically problem34:31that's too hard for somebody because34:33what's hard for somebody is not hard for34:36somebody else because it's subjective34:38and it's relative. Amen. Make sense? So34:42it depends. It just depends at the end34:44of the day.34:45>> Hey guys, we finally have Core of the34:46Heart merch. So, but it's35:32very modest. Don't worry, ladies. And35:34coming soon. Swaddle your babies and35:36cough.35:38>> For some people, they can take it. For35:40some people, they can't. Right, brother?35:42So, it's it's really up to you. Is she35:45worth it? Right? Remember, you're35:48stronger than her in this predicament. I35:50mean, it's just it's just the truth. So,35:52if she if you're stronger than her, then35:54it only makes sense for you to kind of35:56fork the fork it, right? But then but35:59then people will say in this world, "No,36:02that's not true. Like, you can't do36:03that." Like, but what do you mean? Like,36:05let's say parents, right? Let's say36:07parents in here, right? You guys have36:09kids. Let's say you have sons and the36:11kids, they suck at, let's say, cleaning.36:14You as a parent, you're good at36:16cleaning. What's wrong with you helping36:18them to clean? Imagine if you're like,36:21"Oh god, you know, my son is so bad at36:25cleaning, bro. Like, I don't want him at36:27all. Like, I actually going to put him36:28up for adoption." Do you know how many36:30people look at you crazy? Do you guys36:32They will be like, "What?" Wait, so let36:34me get this straight. So, he's not36:36cleaning his toys and like, "Yeah, I'm36:37going to put him up over I can't deal36:39with this." That wouldn't really be the36:41kid's fault. Do you guys understand what36:42I'm saying? That would be the parents's36:44fault because the parents responsibility36:46is to do so. But why is it just because36:48it's the parent? No, because it's also36:49stronger. He's also stronger. He's able36:51to handle it. So, my pastor, for36:53example, bent with me a lot. Why did he36:56bend with me? Because he knew, "Oh,36:58Johnny's just a kid. He's struggling.37:00So, let me bend." That's the right way37:02to go about it. But people don't do37:04that. Understand? [clears throat] So,37:06brother, I I I think I think it's up to37:09you. Obviously, you're not wrong if you37:11don't want to bend. But then you also37:13can't get mad at that person. Do you37:15understand what I'm saying? That that's37:16what I that's all I ask. You you you37:19have a choice to stay or go. You know37:21what I'm saying? But, you know, right?37:24So, Gio said, "If she broke up with me,37:26should I pursue her?" It depends, right?37:28It's not It's It's tricky. It's a little37:29bit of a tricky situation, but let's say37:32you have to give me more context, right?37:34Like you broke up with her or she broke37:36up with you, let's say. Was she breaking37:38up with you because she was struggling?37:40And if she was, then yeah, you should37:42pursue her because a lot of you guys37:44don't know, women and men specifically,37:46they they break up because they they37:48they're sick of themselves. Your,37:52how do I say, your light is always going37:55to disturb their darkness. Do you37:57understand? Do you guys understand what37:58I'm saying here? Your light will always38:01disturb their darkness. Right? Amen. So,38:06when you feel like, how do I explain38:08this? When you start to have peace, when38:11you start to have clarity, when you have38:13rest in God, okay, it can disturb people38:18who don't have that. Do you understand?38:20So, brother, I don't know, Gio. I don't38:23know your and your girl's situation, but38:25if she left you and she left you because38:28your peace disturbed her, I would38:32actually go and and and pursue. I'll be38:35like, "Hey, I know you left me and I'm38:37sorry. I'm sorry that I don't understand38:40and that you can't be like38:43restful with me." Do you understand?38:45Even though she left you. I know that38:46sounds crazy, right? Because what people38:48don't realize is growth changes38:52dynamics. What you can handle is38:55different than what someone else can38:56handle. And so when they see that you38:59can handle things better, let's say,39:01right? Make sense? Then you kind of I39:04don't know, you start to kind of have39:06like this understanding of the situation39:09deeper. Understand? Right? You start to39:11be like, "Oh, okay. Okay." Right? God39:14doesn't want division. He wants you to39:17grow, but the issue is Satan will39:19divide. So for your situation, if you39:23were the one that felt and kept pushing39:25her away, then especially I think you39:27should you should probably apologize.39:30But if she left you, usually the ones39:32that leave from what I've gathered is39:35it's just too much for them, right? It's39:37too much. And during that time, the best39:41way is to be like, "Hey, I understand39:44that it was too much for you and I'm39:46sorry." Even though you don't feel like39:48you're wrong, I think it would be good39:49to say that because it's just something39:51that helps people kind of like heal, you39:56know? But I see it a lot. I see it a lot39:58when when people leave specifically40:00because they have this heart posture of40:02like, I guess I'm just bad. You know40:05what I mean, right? Like I guess it's40:06just not enough. So tying these two40:09things together, human beings, they40:12naturally40:14defend and run away. I don't know about40:16you guys, but even I'm I'm like that too40:19personally when things don't work out40:22for me or let's say I feel exposed, I40:25will run away during those times. I40:29think like what I've learned is40:32we we almost want people to like chase40:35us. Does that make sense, guys? Right.40:38I'm sure you guys are the same. Right.40:40And so when that doesn't happen, then40:44that's when real wounds come out. I I40:46would say the the running away part40:49isn't the issue. I think it's the I'mma40:52let you run away. Then that's when40:54people go, "Oh, okay. Okay. That's what40:57you're really about." Do you guys40:58understand what I'm saying? Right. So,41:01yeah. Right. Amen. So, I'm not saying41:05everybody's like that, okay? Not41:07everybody. But there's a lot of people41:08who who are like, you know, they say41:11things out of anger and frustration. I'm41:13sure you guys understand. And even if41:16you didn't leave, but you're the one who41:17said things out of, you know, it it41:19happens. The Bible tells us that we are41:21ministers of reconciliation,41:24right? That's found in 2 Corinthians 5.41:27Let me pull it up here. Shoot. What the41:30heck? 2 Corinians41:33chapter 5. Man, I can't type projectedly41:37squat. Sorry, guys. Uh verse 18. So, I'm41:40going to just copy this and I'll put it.41:42Okay. 2 Corinthians 5:18.41:45And all things are of God. Everything is41:48from God, who hath reconciled us to41:51himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given41:56to us the ministry of reconciliation.42:01What is our true ministry, brothers and42:03sisters? Reconciling. Do you know what42:06that means? It means to reconnect. Oh,42:08I'm sorry. I'm not saying reconnect like42:11get back together. Okay, don't. Right.42:13But it's to one heart again. You can be42:16distant and one-hearted, right? It's to42:19go, "Hey, there was some things that42:21were said. There was some things that42:23was done. And I'm sorry. Genuinely, I'm42:26sorry." Do you understand? Right? And42:28then you're able to kind of grow in this42:30way. That's our ministry. Believe it or42:33not, more than preaching the gospel,42:35it's to preach the gospel of42:37reconciliation because that's what Jesus42:40did for us, guys. You understand? Didn't42:42Jesus reconcile us? Guys, think about42:45it. I ran away from Jesus, didn't you42:47guys, too? You guys You guys think you42:50ran to him, but you started off running42:51away from him. Now, I don't know about42:52y'all, but I'm I'm not going to speak42:54for you. I'm going to speak for myself.42:55I [snorts] spent 25 years running away42:58from God. And you know what he did? He43:00chased after me. When everybody threw me43:03away, or when when I threw everybody43:04away, he's the one that didn't throw me43:06away and he chased after me. Not just43:08me, you guys, too. He never left me and43:11he'll never leave you. You know, that's43:13really beautiful. So when I when I think43:16about this, I think about God and I'm43:18like, man, I I can't even be on God's43:21level, you know? The type of person that43:22I am is like I just throw people away,43:24too, you know? But I'm thankful that God43:28doesn't throw me away, right? And I'm43:30thankful that God doesn't throw you43:31away. Amen. And so that helps me kind of43:36try to like put into perspective, you43:38know, what's what's going on and and how43:40to how to deal with certain things. So,43:44if I was to give just a word of advice,43:46people who run away from God, I don't43:48know about y'all, but I was afraid of43:49God. That's why I ran away from him. I43:52didn't want to change my life. I didn't43:54want to, you know, I was I was afraid of43:57change. I was afraid that I had to give43:59things up for him. But, you know what's44:02beautiful? God knew that. Isn't that44:05crazy? He knew that. And he never rushed44:07me. He just let me be. Just let me be.44:11and he let you guys be, right? And then44:13when you couldn't do it anymore, then he44:15just cradled you in his arms. And so, so44:18in the same way, like just think about44:21that for other people, too. You know, if44:23you, you know, some of you guys are very44:25strong human beings. You don't really44:27get emotionally detached. And but44:29remember this guys, you guys all44:31received grace. Some of you guys don't44:33understand what I'm saying cuz you44:34weren't the one that ran away. You were44:37the one that people ran away from. But44:40also this message is for those people is44:42to know, oh, I receive this by grace.44:44You know, Jeremy transparently, he's a44:46very strong individual. When he puts his44:49mind to it, God gives him the grace to44:53just do it. He's scaling everything44:55right now full force. And I'm watching44:57him on the sidelines. And I let him have45:00free reign. You know, I've always let45:01him have free cuz I believe in God. And45:03I don't believe core of the heart is45:04mine. I believe it's God's. So I don't45:06think there's anything Jeremy can do to45:08mess it up. respectfully. So I have45:10faith because of grace. But there are45:13certain people on our team because I45:15have 30 plus members on my team. It's45:18difficult. They come to me all the time45:20and you know what they say? Jeremy's45:23like so harsh and he cracks the whip and45:26you know he tells me lock in you know45:29lock in like bro I'm locked in. you45:31know, they get mad, right? And he's45:34like, "Write stuff down." And, you know,45:37he he's he's kind of harsh cuz he just45:39says things straight up like how it is.45:41And so I I I the constant talk I have45:44with Jeremy is, you know, cuz he'll come45:47to me like, "Bro, bros bros being a head45:50ass." You know, excuse my language.45:52He'll say that like, "Bro's being a45:53headass. Bro, just hard-headed. Bro,45:56just bro don't want to listen." Like I I45:58walked him through it. I gave him the45:59notion. I gave him the loom. I recorded46:01everything. I wrote it down. I w, you46:03know, babysat him. And bro, don't46:05listen. And I'm just like, no, I hear46:07you. And then I told him, you know, just46:12because you do all of that, right,46:14doesn't mean that a person's going to46:16listen. I told him the number one thing46:18that you have to do is gain the heart of46:21a human being. That's the most vital46:24thing in life, right? But the way you46:28look at people, you're already looking46:30at them like they're stupid. Yeah, I46:31feel like babysitting. I feel like baby46:33Okay, then babysit. Understand? Yeah,46:35but you know, and he shares the same46:37frustration like, but what about me?46:39Where do I draw the line then? Who's46:41going to babysit me? And I also feel46:42that too in my life, whether it was46:45relationships,46:46you know, or just ministry, I'm sorry to46:49say, I feel like I have to babysit a46:52lot. And God forbid I react a little bit46:55out of character. It's like over for me.46:58Do you guys understand what I'm saying?47:00Right? So I understood his frustration47:02right away. But I told him, "Bro, you47:06have to accept what the word of God is47:10saying about you in that you received47:13grace." You know, there's some people47:14that are just born good at basketball,47:17let's say, right? There's some people47:19that are just born good at art and math.47:23They received grace. Does that mean47:25they're better than us? No. And to those47:27people, right? Right. They should,47:29right? Think about that. And you guys,47:32too. Some of you guys are very strong.47:34But I want you to understand something.47:35You received it by grace. Amen. You47:38received it by grace. You understand?47:40Right? Like I I think if you understand47:43that, then you're more forgiving. So47:46Gio, you know, to the other brother as47:49well, just because someone's weak and47:51struggling, don't look down on them. And47:52if you're stronger than them because of47:54grace, then you should help them, right?47:56We have Danny in here, Armad, and he48:00received a lot of grace to be very48:02strong and not nag and not get48:05frustrated and right, make sense. But48:07then, you know, some people in his life48:10struggle. And so, pastor taught him,48:14hey, just deal with it. Not because he48:18can't, but because he won't. And now, as48:22a testament, he's very happy. And the48:25heart was gained and they come to church48:27and they grow and their families being48:30re re reconciled,48:32right? When everyone else would probably48:34be like, "Yo, bro, you need to leave."48:36It was more of like, no, you you can48:39stay and and be strong. Be the strong48:41one. What's wrong with being strong for48:43someone you love? Nothing. That's48:46actually honorable, right? Understand?48:50But people don't want to do that.48:51Instead, they want to sadly protect48:54themselves and protect their peace.48:56Understand? Right? We're hiring, guys.48:59Core of the Heart is hiring. But listen49:00carefully. We're not just building a49:02company. We're building one of the49:03fastest growing Christian communities in49:05the world. In just a year and a half,49:07this community has grown to over 349:09million strong, and we're nowhere near49:11done. Our mission is simple, but49:12massive, to build the best tools and49:14resources to help anyone in the world49:16get closer to God.49:17>> Our first immediate goal is to get 10049:19million people into heaven. So, when we49:21say we're hiring, understand this. We're49:23not looking for employees. We're looking49:24for missiondriven A players that want to49:26change the world. Our criteria is49:28simple. Don't show us what you could do.49:30Show us what you've already mastered.49:31Like, if you want to be the short form49:32editor, show me the millions of views49:34you've gotten on short form. If you want49:35to be the podcast producer, show me the49:37shows that you've successfully produced.49:39We've learned the hard way not to hire49:40off potential. We just want to hire off49:42of peer experience. People who have49:43already proven that they can perform at49:45their skill set at the highest level. We49:47have jobs available in many different49:49departments, media and content, live49:51events, and marketing. We also have49:53remote jobs and LA based jobs available.49:55If you're an A player that has mastered49:56their craft and wants to do something49:58that glorifies God, then please head to50:00the link in our description and check50:02out the job board. And lastly, if you're50:03an absolute beast at something and you50:05don't see it on the job board, please50:07reach out. I mean, you know, you might50:08be able to do it for us. It might work50:09out. So, if you're amazing at something,50:11you don't see the perfect job50:12description, just reach out. Tell us50:13what you're good at. Maybe it'll work.50:15>> Genuinely, I can't do this without a50:16team. So, I'm very thankful for anyone50:18who supports the mission. I look forward50:20to hearing from you guys. It's funny how50:22you guys join some of you guys and you50:25don't even read the mainstage rules and50:28you just add these uh commentary. We're50:33literally sitting here and we're50:35speaking vulnerability and these people50:37are literally reading the chat to50:39respond to other people and other people50:41are also responding with questions when50:43we're speaking about things that are50:45applicable to our lives. Shows a lot of50:47character, right? We observe a lot. I'm50:49not going to call it out specifically,50:52right? Unless it doesn't stop. It's just50:54kind of funny how people kind of come in50:58just to answer other people's questions.51:00It's really it's it just doesn't really51:02make sense, you know? Why not start your51:05own channel and do that, right? Even in51:08tonality, right? If I speak nicely like51:10this, they're still going to feel some51:12type of way. You guys understand what51:14I'm saying? That's why it's never about51:15tonality, right? It's it's always about51:17truth. They don't want to hear the51:19truth. That's what people don't want to51:21hear. They want to, you know, feel51:24noticed. They want to feel like they51:27have purpose. Amen. And so that's why51:30it's there's no valid Exactly. There's51:32no validation for them in their lives.51:34So they have to go around getting51:36validation from other people. And that's51:38okay, too. If you were just to realize51:40you're like that. Amen, guys. Us being51:44wicked, us being evil, right? that51:47that's not a problem. Us being weak,51:50unforgiving, not a problem. But then51:52what's weird is we don't really like51:55even care about that. Neither do we want51:58to accept that. Right guys? You know, I52:00wonder how people go through life52:03consuming truth but not surrendered to52:05truth. It kind of boggles my mind a52:07little bit. Amen. If you guys go through52:10life and you're like, you know what, I'm52:12only going to accessorize knowledge,52:15right? I'm only going to listen to when52:18things are good and reject when things I52:21feel like are bad. I kind of am curious52:25as to see how their life is. Are they52:27really peaceful? Understand? I I would52:29ag I would I would argue that they're52:32not. You guys got that? I would argue52:33that they're probably not. Probably not.52:36Right. Right. That's an issue that I52:39have and honestly it's not peaceful.52:40Thank you. Amen. And and that's that's52:43Thank you for that. Right. That's true.52:45Right? If I sit here and I only listen52:48and I accessorize you, let's say like KP52:51serves is in here, let's say, right? And52:54he he, you know, preaches the gospel and52:57all I do is I watch his videos on how to52:59debate Hebrew Israelites. Do you think53:02I'm going to have a good life? picking53:04up on how he debates Hebrew Israelites,53:07picking up on the little bars and gems53:09that he says, you know, but like never53:12submitting to like gaining the soul of a53:14person. I probably wouldn't feel happy.53:17But in the same way you come in here53:20let's say right and all you want is you53:23know you crave learning and and theology53:27and insight but you don't crave53:30distrusting yourself or surrender or53:33humility right then how will you ever53:35grow when God says you need humility53:38humbleness right if you're only here to53:40answer everybody else's question right53:44and you're not here to learn from53:46everybody else's question. I wonder how53:49people will live. Amen. Right. So, I53:52think like it's really difficult for a53:55lot of people to unlearn their ways. It53:58takes grace, but it also takes amount a54:01certain amount of like receptive skills,54:03listening. It takes a complete amount54:06of, you know, I need to distrust my54:09thoughts and my feelings, right? You54:11have to. You genuinely have to. But the54:14issue is, you know, people don't even54:17care about that, you know, they it's54:20it's kind of wild, right? Amen. It's54:23just it's horrible. Learning is54:25sometimes harder than learning. Very54:27true. Very true. Right. Very true. Amen.54:30Very true. The reason why there's, you54:32know, you can take it as like correction54:34is what I'm saying here. And why I'm54:36addressing this is because correction is54:39meant to restore your heart. It's not54:41meant to defend your ego. If correction54:44wins an argument but loses a soul or54:47loses a heart. If it proves that you're54:50right but hardens the other people. If54:53it exposes behavior but doesn't invite54:56for repentance54:58then right it's it's it's missed its55:01purpose. Do you understand what I'm55:03saying? Amen. Amen. So a person has to55:06be two things right. I've learned in55:09spiritual life you guys should strive55:11for two things. Can I tell you? You55:13should strive to be teachable. You55:15should strive to be reachable. Bars, you55:18should strive to be teachable. You55:21should strive to be reachable. You55:24should be one open to conversation. You55:26should be open to receiving truth55:28without posturization. Meaning like55:31posturizing, right? Which is posturing,55:33right? That's what you have to be open55:35to, right? So nine times out of 10, if55:38you feel irritated or defensive or55:41frustrated or triggered, I think the one55:44thing you have to close is not your55:46heart. Not your heart, but your mouth.55:48People, they they're their opposite.55:51When they get irritated or defensive or55:54triggered, they don't close their mouth,55:56they close their heart. Kind of wild,55:58right? Right. Amen. So I think the whole56:01point of correction is to clarify, not56:04to humiliate. Amen. Right. So, and if56:07you respond, the one thing that helps me56:11with everything is this. Am I trying to56:13win or am I trying to win them over?56:17That always helps in how I correct56:19people. Am I trying to win or am I56:22trying to win them over? Right? Winning56:24them over is important. Winning is not56:26important. Right? And so, this kind of56:28helps in a lot of things. So the goal is56:30not to control or dominate people or56:33emotionally release people or prove that56:35you're authoritative.56:38The goal is always what? Reconciliation,56:41clarity,56:42pointing Jesus back to pointing people56:44back to Jesus. Do you guys understand56:46what I'm saying? Tonality is not about56:49volume, guys. Tonality is always about56:52posture, right? Like Jesus for example,56:55when it came to like sinners, he always56:58spoke gently. But then when it came to57:01self-righteous people, he flipped57:03tables. Do you notice the pattern? He57:06was firm. And then when it was someone57:08hurting someone else, he was sharp with57:10it. Right? Truth doesn't need to be soft57:14in order to be loving. Right? Make57:17sense? Truth has to be all about other57:20people, not self. Right? Amen. So what57:24most people don't like about correction57:27is that it exposes you. Right. Right. So57:30when they say things like you ever hear57:32people go just preach the gospel or you57:35know bro you're hostile or you know but57:39why you like can we continue right? Like57:42this type of heart. What they're really57:44selling what they're really telling57:46everyone is tell me I'm safe without57:49confronting what's killing me. That's57:51the heart posture, right? Tell me that57:53I'm good and make me feel good, safe,57:56and com comfort me, but don't confront57:59what's actually killing me deep down.58:02Cuz if you do that, I don't like that. I58:04don't want you to go that deep. But58:06Jesus never did that. Understand what58:08I'm saying? Make sense? Scripture is58:11very important. Clarity very important.58:14Amen. Right? So people think like when58:16when they're getting corrected, right?58:19They think that, you know, they're being58:22told that they're bad. Like, you know,58:24correction kind of has a negative58:26connotation, right? It's like, oh, I58:28messed up, so I need to correct. No. If58:31you guys think about correction as just58:33truth setting you free and bringing58:35clarity, you won't take it so negative.58:38The reason why you take correction58:40negative is because you automatically58:42correlate it with, oh, I did something58:45bad, that's why I need to be corrected.58:47Do you guys understand? versus like, no,58:48no, no. I just need to be realigned so58:51that I can be set free. Do you Right?58:53Cuz the truth sets you free. It says,58:56right? But people already have a mindset58:58of like, you confronted me and I feel58:59some type of way about that. That's not59:01what it's about, brothers and sisters.59:03It's it's not that's not important. We59:05have to say things that will set you59:06free. Amen. Right. You got to59:09understand, right? Not all wounds,59:11right? Not all wounds are violent. Some59:14wounds are surgery. Got it? Yes. Surgery59:17hurts, but surgery saves. Understand59:21what I'm saying? Amen. So, yes, it59:23hurts, right? I was under surgery. I had59:26to take a bullet out of me that was59:28causing a a hernia in me. And I was on59:31the operation table for like 7 hours.59:33They said that to remove I think like59:3620% of my intestines. And it was kind of59:39wild. I almost died. And it hurt a lot.59:42But what was it for though? To heal me.59:44Do you guys understand what I'm saying?59:47Why did God do it? To heal me, right?59:49But didn't it hurt me? It did. I had to59:51stay bedridden. They put some stuff in59:54me. I don't know if it was percoet or59:56what. Legit started having me59:58hallucinating. It was kind of crazy,1:00:00right? This was last year, right? Amen.1:00:03Make sense? Kind of crazy, right? Right.1:00:06A lot of the times we we have to realize1:00:08that, you know, it's it's a wound. Yes.1:00:12Truth wounds us. Yes. But is it there to1:00:15heal us? Right. Well, why why does why1:00:18like for example, why do people shut1:00:19down when truth is is being told? Do you1:00:22know why? I'll tell you. Because truth1:00:25exposes identity before it exposes your1:00:28behavior. So, when you tell them truth,1:00:30like for example, if you tell a person1:00:33who still believes that they're quote1:00:34unquote good, [clears throat]1:00:36that let's say the Bible what the Bible1:00:38says they're evil, then they don't feel1:00:40threatened and they don't feel free.1:00:42They feel threatened. Do you understand1:00:43what I'm saying? Like if I think I'm1:00:45good, even if I quote if someone quotes1:00:48scripture and tells me that I'm not, I'm1:00:51not going to feel free. I'm going to1:00:52feel I'm going to feel hurt. I'm going1:00:54to feel burdened. I'm going to feel1:00:56threatened. Amen. Amen. Right? So if we1:00:59understand that, brothers and sisters,1:01:01right? Make sense? So then then we're1:01:03able to kind of grow, right? So [snorts]1:01:06yeah, sensitivity, guys, is not the same1:01:10as being humble. Just so you know, just1:01:13cuz you're sensitive and soft, right,1:01:16does not mean it's, you know, you guys1:01:19understand. So, this person still can't1:01:21read the room. So, I'm going to have to1:01:23address it, right? This is truth, right?1:01:25Make sense? They have good posture.1:01:28Okay. But they're not understanding that1:01:31they're stewarding incorrectly. Amen.1:01:33Make sense? So, I would argue that they1:01:36may have good intention. But someone1:01:39who's sitting there, for example, and1:01:41says, "Pastor, how do I heal from church1:01:43hurt? I've had a bad experience with1:01:45church, right?" You know, especially1:01:48when it comes to condemning you with1:01:49scripture. It's hard to see God1:01:51accurately after that, right? So,1:01:54they're they're being vulnerable about1:01:55church hurt, right? And then the person1:01:58responds, "Just don't go to church to be1:02:00honest. Focus on Jesus. Realize that1:02:02Jesus and churches and Christians are1:02:04two different things." So what we're1:02:06teaching here is avoidance rather than1:02:09fixing it at the root. So me sister, I1:02:11wouldn't say that to you. You can take1:02:14that advice even though that's not1:02:15really good advice respectfully. Right?1:02:17So I understand what you're feeling1:02:20because the same Bible that healed1:02:22others was used to break you and now you1:02:26don't know how to trust God. I1:02:28understand that. The issue with the1:02:30church is that they were preaching kind1:02:32of similar to what this person is doing.1:02:34Church heard happens when truth is1:02:36preached without grace. Understand what1:02:39I'm saying? So they were preaching truth1:02:41but they didn't have grace. And remember1:02:44truth without love is abuse. Understand?1:02:47Amen. So now even when you hear1:02:49scripture you're going you're going to1:02:51flinch. Why? because your nervous system1:02:55has embodied and learned to associate1:02:58Bible verses with condemnation instead1:03:01of comfort. So it's not the church1:03:03building that's going to hurt you like1:03:04this brother thinks or sister thinks1:03:07that you know is going to help you. The1:03:10problem is not the church building, it's1:03:12the mind that has been damaged through1:03:14trauma. Understand? So if you have1:03:16cancer and brain damage and I just tell1:03:20you just run away, that's not going to1:03:23help you. But that's what they're1:03:24saying. Understand?1:03:26You know, maybe not intentionally, but1:03:29even unintentionally. So the truth is1:03:32scripture was never meant to be a1:03:34weapon. It was meant to lead you to1:03:37Jesus Christ, not shame you away from1:03:40him. So then how then do you trust God1:03:42again when people especially his people1:03:45or they claim to be his people1:03:47misrepresented him? This is where you1:03:50have to separate God's goodness and his1:03:52character from people. If you go to the1:03:55doctor and one doctor may mess up on you1:03:59that doesn't mean the whole hospital is1:04:00evil and that doesn't mean all doctors1:04:03are evil. Understand what I'm saying?1:04:05Right? Make sense? People can misandle1:04:09scripture and people can misdefinitely1:04:11mishandle your heart. But you know1:04:13what's beautiful? God never mishandles1:04:16scripture and he never never ever1:04:18mishandles your heart. Amen. So people1:04:21treat the Bible, I'll give you an1:04:22example, as medicine, right? Medicine1:04:26heals, but in the wrong dosage it harms.1:04:31You can overdose. Do you understand?1:04:33Scripture without the gospel will cause1:04:37you to overdose spiritually. You'll die1:04:39from it. Literally, that's what they1:04:42don't know, right? And people don't1:04:46realize that church is the same as like1:04:48a judge versus a doctor. Some churches,1:04:52they act like judges. They read off1:04:54charges and they they order you to do1:04:57things. But the doctor in some churches1:04:59are like a hospital where they diagnose1:05:02your wounds and they heal you.1:05:04Understand? So I wouldn't listen to what1:05:06this person said. They're not learned1:05:08respectfully. So they're just going to1:05:10give you some wrong guidance that's kind1:05:14of like arrogant respectfully.1:05:17Understand what I'm saying? Right? So1:05:19scripture without Jesus Christ becomes1:05:22condemnation always. And condemnation1:05:25sounds very spiritual. Hey, you need to1:05:27repent. You [clears throat] need to do1:05:29better. You need to stop being a1:05:32It sounds spiritual, right? But it's not1:05:34biblical because condemnation quotes1:05:38verses, but the verses never cause1:05:41repentance. As you see, they cause you1:05:43to run away from God, right? Cuz now you1:05:46don't even want to go to church no more.1:05:48So that church, I would say, was not1:05:50drawing you and stewarding you to God.1:05:53What we do here is we try to pull you1:05:54back to God. Other people tell you to1:05:56run away from God. Kind of similar to1:05:58what's going on what that person said1:06:00earlier because they don't know how to1:06:02read a room. Understand? And I hope that1:06:04they're able to see that I'm speaking to1:06:07them directly without feeling1:06:08frustrated. Right? In the same way,1:06:11right? Jesus was hardest on who?1:06:14Harlots, people like me and you. No,1:06:16religious leaders, not broken people.1:06:20Pharisees who think they have all the1:06:23answers, who think that they're good.1:06:25Why?1:06:27Because they use scripture, their own1:06:30interpretation,1:06:32their own heart posture out of good not1:06:35to release you or restore you, but to1:06:38control you. Do you understand? That's1:06:40what they're doing. They think they have1:06:42the answers when they shouldn't even be1:06:44opening their mouth. Right? So church1:06:47hurt does not mean that God failed you1:06:49sister. Right? It means that God that1:06:53people tried to play God and they failed1:06:56you. The church was trying to play God1:06:59telling you to do this, telling you to1:07:00do that and that's where it failed and1:07:03then Satan worked in that. So no, I1:07:06don't think you should leave the church.1:07:08I think you should recognize, oh, if1:07:12they're not pointing to Jesus, that's1:07:13not even a church anyways. That's just a1:07:16congregation of people who think that1:07:18they love God. Amen. So you have to1:07:21relearn who God is through the gospels1:07:23first. So read about Jesus first, not1:07:26what other people say and do and and1:07:29religious doctrine and theology. You1:07:31don't need that. And then you have to1:07:32let scripture revitalize your mind,1:07:35renew your mind. Amen. Okay. What does1:07:37God say about me? Not what other people1:07:40who think they know about God says about1:07:42you. Cuz it's the same energy. It's I1:07:44think I know what's best for you. I know1:07:46about God. So listen to me, sister.1:07:49Don't go to churches. Right. Make sense.1:07:52Sexy adventurer. First and foremost, I1:07:54don't think you're you're understanding1:07:57the context here. As we're sitting here1:07:59and we're actually explaining, right, as1:08:02you've given very bad advice to people,1:08:04right? So, I don't think you're catching1:08:06that. So, you keep going. I I'm just1:08:08going to assume that you don't really1:08:10respect the platform. So, I don't think1:08:12you're catching on to that. So, please1:08:14refrain from doing so because there's1:08:17people who are being vulnerable here.1:08:19Genuinely vulnerable. And if you give1:08:21them the wrong information, it can cause1:08:24more pain. Understand what I'm saying?1:08:26Right. Right. So, yeah, this isn't a1:08:29place for that type of stuff. Please1:08:31read the rules. I see that you're new1:08:33here. So, you know, thank you. All1:08:36right. So anyways, as I'm saying, right,1:08:39I don't think you were hurt by God and I1:08:41don't think you were hurt by a real1:08:42church. You were hurt by religion.1:08:44Religion hurts people. Legalism hurts1:08:46people. And scripture without Jesus1:08:48hurts people. And that's everybody here,1:08:50right? If scripture or a church ever1:08:53made you feel hopeless instead of closer1:08:55to Jesus, then that church or that1:08:57person who was using that scripture,1:08:59they preach law without the gospel. And1:09:01that's why we're here with Jesus. We1:09:03need Jesus. You guys got that? Amen.1:09:05Okay, I'll answer one more question here1:09:08and then we will I got to go to sleep1:09:10cuz I got to get up super early1:09:11tomorrow. I got to church. Right. That's1:09:13kind of a lot, Vince. I'm sorry. I'm I'm1:09:15not going to be able to read all of1:09:16that. Right. I I am tired. I am tired.1:09:20How do you know you're going down the1:09:21right path in life? I just turned 301:09:23today and sometimes I worry about making1:09:24the wrong decisions. Good. Good. Very1:09:26good question. First and foremost, you1:09:28have to understand path, right? What1:09:31does it mean? Right? What is the path1:09:33that you know God wants versus what you1:09:36want, right? Turning 30, obviously, you1:09:39know, it's kind of a point where your1:09:42decisions matter now, right? It it's1:09:45not, you know, what do I want? When1:09:46you're younger, you could be like, okay,1:09:47I got time to figure out what I want.1:09:49Now, you're nearing this thing of like,1:09:50what if I'm choosing wrong? So, I1:09:52understand your heart. I understand.1:09:54Right. Amen. I would say the fact that1:09:57you're asking this question is really1:09:59good because if you were truly on the1:10:01wrong path, you wouldn't even be asking1:10:03this question, right? You would be on1:10:05the wrong path and you would, you know,1:10:07you wouldn't even know your direction.1:10:09So the fact that you kind of know it's1:10:10it's it's a very very good thing, right?1:10:13Amen. Amen. So God, the way that he1:10:16guides people, he doesn't let you kind1:10:18of preview the future. Instead, he asks1:10:20you to trust him with your future. You1:10:23got that? Hey, I'm God. I can see your1:10:26future. Do you trust me? That's what he1:10:28wants. That's why he's not showing you1:10:30right away. Right? Cuz you're thinking,1:10:32"What if I look back in 10 years and I1:10:33realize I messed up something?" Right?1:10:35He doesn't He's not worried about that.1:10:37Right? Make sense? So God wants1:10:40dependence, not certainty. He wants you1:10:43to depend on him. God intentionally,1:10:46purposely, okay, will withhold the1:10:49future and the clarity and all these1:10:51things from you. Do you know why? so1:10:53that you can walk with him instead of1:10:55ahead of him. He's training you to trust1:10:58in him with your walk and walk with him.1:11:01But we want to go ahead of him because1:11:02we don't care about God's timing1:11:04respectfully. Right? Make sense, right?1:11:06So when you look at Proverbs 3:5-6, when1:11:09you look at Psalm 119 105, God rarely1:11:13tells you the path before you walk it.1:11:17He will always say, "Lean on me. Trust1:11:20in me." So let's say you have anxiety.1:11:22Let's say you're struggling. Matthew1:11:256:34 and 33 is a very very good1:11:28scripture, right? Your life is not a1:11:31test. Your life is not let me figure1:11:35this out. Let me figure that out. Do you1:11:37know what your life is? It's a1:11:38relationship with God. And relationship1:11:41means I'm not going to take thought for1:11:44anything. You will handle everything.1:11:46Right? Even Jesus Christ waited 301:11:50years. We don't even know what what he1:11:52did in those 30 years before he rose to1:11:56this public ministry. So if Jesus waited1:11:59until he was 30 and then received his1:12:02blessings and his ministry and his1:12:04purpose in 30, what about you, right?1:12:06God won't forget about you either. So1:12:08your direction is always going to come1:12:11from who you trust your direction with1:12:14and that's God. So a lot of you guys are1:12:16probably stuck, right? Do you guys know1:12:18why why we we call God for guidance?1:12:21This word guidance. Do you know what1:12:22that means? God is our guide, right? He1:12:24guides us. Why? Because God doesn't1:12:27guide people who already know the way.1:12:30He only guides people who don't know the1:12:32way. That's why he's called to guide.1:12:34You're not supposed to know. You're1:12:36supposed to trust. Do you understand?1:12:38That's why he's called our guide, our1:12:40shepherd. The sheep doesn't know where1:12:42it's going. It's like bad, right? Bad.1:12:46It just follows the shepherd.1:12:47Understand? In the same way, right? God1:12:51doesn't guide people who already know1:12:52the way. We wouldn't need him if that's1:12:55the case. If you were truly lost, you1:12:57wouldn't be seeking direction, right?1:12:59The right path is obtained not by1:13:02clarity, but by faithfulness. Oh, I1:13:05trust you. Right? You don't find the1:13:08right path. You believe in the one who1:13:10knows the path. That's what you do.1:13:12Right? So, yes, you may have some fear1:13:14and some anxiety. Sure that comes. But1:13:17the right path is walking with God even1:13:20when everything feels unsure and1:13:22uncertain to you. You guys got that?1:13:24Amen. So if you took a wrong turn, do1:13:27you think that God won't correct the1:13:29turn? He's just going to be like, "Oh,1:13:31Los over for him." Oh, he took one turn.1:13:35See you later. Walk off the cliff. Bye.1:13:37No. Oh, no. His name is Los. He should1:13:40put T at the end of it. Boy is lost.1:13:43Los, right? Car lost, right? Not Carlos.1:13:48Car lost. Bdon lost and got lost in his1:13:51car, right? Do you understand what I'm1:13:53saying? Right. Isn't that what what what1:13:55Carlos what los is short short for?1:13:58Carlos Verda. Laos,1:14:02right? Your name is Los. But your car1:14:05lost. Oh, he's lost. Not Los. It's over1:14:10for him. So, I'm saying God's going to1:14:14help you, brothers and sisters.1:14:17Don't be afraid. Be afraid. Hey, okay. I1:14:22don't know what's going to happen, guys.1:14:24We have to pay so much in taxes this1:14:26year. It's going to put us in the1:14:28negative. I shouldn't have I shouldn't1:14:30have spent, you know, 200k on the app.1:14:33Did you guys know that? I'm cooked. But1:14:37it looks dire, doesn't it? So what? I1:14:40did this because I'm preaching the1:14:42gospel. I'm in debt for the gospel.1:14:45Amen. I used to be in debt for myself. I1:14:48was in debt because I was, you know,1:14:50taking bricks off credit and taking1:14:52packs and peas off credit on bloodies.1:14:55Now I'm in debt because I preach the1:14:57gospel. Dang. Boy is just broken. Johnny1:15:00Chang is just dumb. He's always in debt.1:15:02Whether he's in debt to the world or1:15:04he's in debt to the gospel, bro just1:15:07does not know how to get out of things.1:15:09He's stupid. Stupid idiot. Dumb idiot.1:15:11No wonder people don't listen to me. No1:15:13wonder people answer questions in my1:15:15life. No wonder people sit there and1:15:17just be like, "Bro's dumb, dude. Like,1:15:19why got to listen to him? I got to1:15:21listen to this guy. How the hell does1:15:23this guy have the the the the gospel1:15:25better than me? What an idiot. Dude, I I1:15:29agree. I'm big dummy. All I know how to1:15:31do is be dumb and preach a little bit of1:15:33the gospel, you know, but that's okay,1:15:36guys. I love you guys. I hope you guys1:15:38don't take anything personal genuinely,1:15:40you know. I I I really it not my love,1:15:44but I believe through the the heart of1:15:46God. He really loves you guys. And I1:15:48hope you guys can take it that way. And1:15:51uh hope you guys can grow, man. And I'm1:15:53thankful God will work. God will take1:15:56care of you guys. And God is going to1:15:57lead you to the death of me, right? as1:16:00they say, till the casket drop.1:16:02Genuinely, I think God will. No, scratch1:16:06that. I know God will. You think he just1:16:08made you guys receive salvation just to1:16:10suffer? He think You think God made us1:16:12to have salvation so your family could1:16:14just suffer, too? What a powerless God.1:16:17If that's the case, no, he loves you1:16:19guys. He saved you. Do you know why he1:16:22saved you guys? Do you know why you're1:16:23here? To do greater works. To do greater1:16:27works. Amen. You guys got that? To do1:16:30greater works, brothers and sisters. If1:16:33you guys don't like my tonality,1:16:34tonality, play, play, pray, play for me.1:16:38Gosh, always mixing up my L's and my Rs.1:16:41If you guys don't like my tonality, play1:16:43for me, please.1:16:46Play for me. Praise. Man, better stop1:16:49cuz I'mma stay stuck like that. Pray for1:16:52me, please. Y'all don't like me, pray1:16:55for me. Y'all, y'all want me to die?1:16:57Pray for that, too. That's okay. As long1:17:00as you pray, man. Sheesh. As long as you1:17:02pray. Just pray, man. Okay. Pray for my1:17:06downfall. Pray for my this. Pray. Just1:17:08pray, man. I ain't tripping. Pray. If1:17:11there Did you guys know there's people1:17:12that pray for me to die? You guys saw1:17:15it. You guys saw that, right? I even1:17:18prayed for Johnny to die. Dang. I'm over1:17:21here like, "Please, God, answer his1:17:24prayer. I want to just go up there and1:17:25chill with you already. Shoot. I'm I1:17:28thought I was the only one, guys. I'm1:17:30crazy like that. I'm psycho. I'm1:17:33maniacal. Psychopathic for real, right?1:17:37Heck yeah. Pray for me to die, dude. You1:17:40be doing me a favor. Right. That's the1:17:43difference between us. I'm ready to go.1:17:45I ain't tripping. And it's not cuz I'm1:17:47sleepy. Okay? Right? Whatever God wants,1:17:49I'm okay with it. You guys ever ride in1:17:51a plane and there's like turbulence? Do1:17:54you know how crazy I am? I'm like, "God,1:17:56it would be crazy if I went out this1:17:58way." And that thing just like fell from1:18:02the sky. I legit be thinking crazy1:18:05things like that, right? Literally, when1:18:06I hit turbulence, I'm like, "Here we go,1:18:09God. I'm ready." Like, I'll go I'll1:18:11literally be crazy. Jeremy look at me1:18:13and be like, "You're crazy, bro. You're1:18:16crazy, bro." I'm like, "So what, fool?1:18:19I'm not scared." He's like, "So what? So1:18:21what? That's your signature, Johnny. So1:18:22what? So what? So what?" Right? Amen.1:18:24Jeremy in the middle seat, right? Amen.1:18:28Anyways, I'm kidding. But genuinely, I1:18:31believe that whenever God is going to1:18:32call us, he'll call us. Until then,1:18:34preach the gospel. Be happy, guys.1:18:37Happiness is a choice. Okay? Sadness is1:18:40is as well. Happiness is a choice. Be1:18:42happy. There's so many things that we1:18:44can be, you know, unhappy about. Yes.1:18:47But I guarantee you there's so many more1:18:50things that can that we can be happy1:18:51about. Okay, brothers and sisters. You1:18:53may not have the man in your life, the1:18:55woman in your life, but you do have God1:18:57in your life genuinely. Okay? And I hope1:19:00to meet every single one of you guys and1:19:03give you a handshake and a big hug and1:19:07you know and and just hang out with you.1:19:11That would be really cool. Genuinely.1:19:13Amen. Okay. Well, just pray and then1:19:15we'll we'll head out. Okay, let's bow1:19:18our heads. Let us pray. Living Father1:19:20God, there's so many people that are1:19:22struggling with intrusive thoughts,1:19:24people struggling with [snorts]1:19:25tonality,1:19:27accepting this precious gospel. And just1:19:30surrender, Lord. I see that there is the1:19:34flesh waring with the spirit in that we1:19:36want to learn a lot about knowledge, but1:19:38we don't want you, God. [snorts] We1:19:40don't want surrender. We don't want your1:19:42provision. We don't want your guidance.1:19:43Lord, I ask that you please help us with1:19:45that heart. It is not our heart, but the1:19:48rebel re rebellious heart of the enemy.1:19:50Lord, please take care of our children,1:19:52our sons, our daughters. Take care of1:19:53our family members, Lord. Aunts, uncles,1:19:56parents, God. Lord, so many people that1:19:59take you for granted, including1:20:00ourselves. And we never understand why1:20:02you want us, but we're so thankful that1:20:04you chose us. And we may never1:20:07understand, yet we believe one day in1:20:10heaven with you, we will we will1:20:13understand. Father God, Lord, there's a1:20:15lot of brothers and sisters in here who1:20:16are lacking clarity. I can see that1:20:18they're thirsty for the truth, but1:20:20please allow them to to learn surrender1:20:24to the truth. Please give them1:20:26enlightenment in their hearts and grace1:20:29to overcome1:20:31the need to be seen the main character1:20:34energies that they feel. Lord, please1:20:36have mercy on them. Please give them the1:20:38heart that you've given me, that you've1:20:40given Pastor Kim, that you've given1:20:42Paul, that you've given to all the other1:20:45apostles to just be surrendered and move1:20:47with true humility. Lord, please don't1:20:50give them selfishness. And when they1:20:52are, please allow them to reflect so1:20:54that they can come back to you, Lord.1:20:55Above all else, Lord, please allow us to1:20:57seek your kingdom first. Making money is1:21:00great. Having relationships is great.1:21:02But God, if we don't know anything about1:21:05you and Jesus Christ, and it's all in1:21:07vain, God, I ask that you realign us.1:21:10Because truly, Lord, a lot of us every1:21:13single day fall out of alignment. But1:21:15Lord, we're still thankful and we're1:21:17still hopeful every single day. Because1:21:19although we're faithless, you're1:21:21faithful.
