Unlearned Wisdom by Johnny Chang
0:00Welcome back to another Mainstage. This0:02is where I talk directly with my0:04community. I tell personal stories, deep0:06biblical learnings, and I answer0:08questions directly from the chat. These0:10episodes are audio only. So, thank you0:12guys for listening and tuning in. And0:14you can join my discord to catch the0:15next main stage live. Okay, let's get0:18started. Good to see you guys.0:21Definitely good to see everyone here.0:24I'm taking a little bit of a break from0:26unpacking and everything. So, I got some0:29question. If you guys got some0:31questions, I got some time to answer you0:33guys. Let's see. I don't know if you're0:37you answer fun questions, but who is0:40harder on their church, you or Pastor0:42Kim? I say neither. I don't think any of0:44us are hard on our church. I think we0:46both care about our churches, right? So0:49genuinely, everyone who's0:52who cares about their, you know, their0:55congregation is going to say certain0:58things that may be a little1:00uncomfortable, but it's to always grow1:02you, not to slow you. Right. Right. So,1:06yeah. Pastor, can you break down who or1:08what the two witnesses are in1:10Revelations, please? Yeah. You're1:12talking about Revelation 11, and I think1:15that's the one where it's uh two1:17witnesses. They have two sock they have1:19two sackcloths. They have prophecy. They1:22have two olive trees, two candlesticks1:25standing before God. Right? So these1:28people in the Coney Greek witness is1:32martis. So like martyr. The word you get1:34for martyr basically just means a1:37witness or like a person who has a1:39testimony.1:41So they give testimony. And if you keep1:43reading in Revelation 11, I think what1:45happens to them is they're killed by the1:47beast. the world celebrates their death1:49and God basically raises them up. And so1:52again, if this is all talking about1:54Jesus, right, then it makes sense. The1:57beast Satan kills, you know, the2:00witness, right? And then, you know, the2:03world celebrates, thinks that it's okay,2:05and then later they be they get publicly2:07vindicated. So right, two olive trees,2:10two lampstands represents the olive2:13which is Jesus Christ. The lampstand2:15which is the light that bears Jesus2:17Christ. Yeah. So you know nothing to go2:20too crazy. Some people think it's Moses2:22and Elijah. Not necessarily. Revelations2:26is always about Jesus, not Moses and2:28Elijah. And Elijah and Moses represent2:30Jesus, too. So yeah, I would say it's2:34just Jesus and his and his church. Those2:37are the two witnesses, the church and2:39Jesus Christ, right? Because the church2:42witnessed Jesus being crucified and then2:45was born out of that. So kind of, you2:48know, biblical here. Yeah. That's again2:52ties always everything ties back to2:54Jesus. Johnny, even if our thoughts2:56don't tell us that we're protected from2:58evil, it doesn't mean that we're not3:00protected because Jesus tells us we are.3:02Yes. Yes. Um Yeah. thoughts will nine3:05times out of 10 kind of go against they3:07kind of usually go against the word of3:10God. So if you don't feel protected,3:12it's probably because you are and Satan3:16is trying to have authority over your3:18thoughts and your emotions, but God has3:20the true authority, right? So yeah. All3:24right. I was wondering how do I approach3:26this thing where I see people that pray3:28and Johnny too, I think he said that you3:30have to believe what you pray, but how3:32can I believe what I pray if maybe that3:34thing is not God's will? So you're3:36supposed to believe God's will in in the3:39prayer. So you're not supposed to pray3:41for your will. You're supposed to ask3:43God to align your will with his will.3:46That's how you believe, right? And in3:49your case, one of your cats is sick and3:52you can't bring myself to say yes, she3:54will be cured because what if that isn't3:56what God Exactly. You're not supposed to3:58say yes, she's cured. You're supposed to4:00say, "Father God, if it's your will to4:01cure her, amen, she's cured. And if it's4:04not, amen as well. That's what it means4:07to believe. It actually means to4:09surrender. Amen. So, yeah. Thank you for4:12always answering my questions from the4:14foundation. Even if I don't ask4:15directly, amen. Thank you for always4:17listening because I mean it it takes two4:20ways, right? I can answer foundationally4:22and if people don't want to listen, then4:24they're not going to hear it. So, it's4:26really really good, right? Started4:28reading the Bible front to back. Any4:30tips? Can be confusing at times. Pretty4:32simple. Read to accept, not to4:35understand, and just keep reading and4:37you'll be okay, right? Hi, pastor. My4:39dad and I have a rocky relationship for4:41years now. In July, I apologize to him4:43after being inspired by our story. But4:45every time he asks to hang out, or I do,4:48then he ghosts me after this. Last time,4:50he made me want to stop texting him4:52entirely. And I don't know if that's4:54okay. Um, yeah, it's normal to feel4:56frustrated and just share your heart4:59with him. Hey, Dad. How about you5:01decide, you plan, and you let me know.5:03And then just don't have any5:04expectations because people are still5:06changing, right? Just because you5:08apologize does not mean that, you know,5:11they fully understand and they're fully5:14changed and they take time. They may5:16have certain habits where they ghost5:17you. And that happens. I've ghosted5:20people. I continue to ghost people. And5:22sometimes that's my flaw, too. Hurt a5:25lot of people's feelings without, you5:27know, in intentionally doing it. And it5:29just happens. It happens, right? And so5:32my dad too sometimes will make false5:35promises to me and say certain things5:37and doesn't come through with it. But5:39that's that's that's what life is about,5:42right? We're all humans at one point. So5:44it's okay to feel frustrated and stuff5:47like that. But you know, my therapist5:51suggested having black cat energy, but5:53it doesn't feel right. Is this okay for5:55a Christian? Probably not. Probably not.5:58Yeah. Listen to the word of God. Take6:00what your therapist is saying as6:02information, but you don't have to take6:03it as identity, right? Different eyes,6:06as we say, right? And so, yeah, let's6:10see. What's your view on angels? My ex6:13tried to tell me he could talk to6:14angels. He wasn't speaking to God, but6:17his angels even told me I had to speak6:19to angels to get through to God. Uh,6:21that's not necessarily true. Yeah. But a6:24lot of people want to feel special,6:26right? And it makes sense because they6:28don't know how to feel God and they6:29don't know how to follow God and they6:31don't really know the presence of God.6:33And so it's normal to feel like I want6:36to get close to God. But sometimes they6:38could be the wrong angel and fallen6:41angel. But it doesn't do good to tell6:44them, hey, you're not that's demonic.6:46You know, they're not going to6:47understand. Even if it's true, if6:50they're not ready to hear the truth,6:52then it's probably going to be6:53counterproductive and it may create a6:56rift between your guys's relationship.6:59But yes, I would agree that it is7:01demonic. I don't think that you have to7:04speak to the angels to get to Jesus7:06because the Bible says that Jesus is the7:09true messenger and Jesus is the true7:11mediator. So you speak to Jesus to get7:14to God. Sure. But never angels to get to7:16Jesus or Mary to get to Jesus, right?7:19Why does God let me go through constant7:21mental torment even though I constantly7:23pray? So because probably it's a7:26transactional thing. You're praying to7:29have mental relief. God is trying to7:32give you spiritual relief. And spiritual7:35relief comes from surrender. And it7:37comes from acceptance. And it comes from7:41agreeing with God. So God can obviously7:44slap snap his fingers and by your prayer7:46heal you right away. But he's not going7:49to do that if it's going to lose you and7:51then you only transactionalize him. Oh7:54God, I'm mental right now. I pray it7:56away. Okay, thank you. See you later.7:58Going to go follow my thoughts. Do8:00whatever I want to do. Oh, I messed up8:02again. Hey Lord. Right. Can you I need8:04you again. Good again. See you later.8:06Oh, hey God. I need you again. Oh, here.8:09see you later. Thanks for fixing me. He8:10doesn't want to do that. He wants to be8:12able to create a true biblical8:16foundational relationship with you. And8:19that's he's doing now, right? The8:22torment is, hey, leave it up to me. I8:25will help you. You can't get yourself8:26out of it. Amen. And that's why I'm here8:28to get you out of it. Don't just pray to8:31me for that. Believe that I will get you8:33out of it. Believe that I'm here for8:34you. Believe that I love you and I care8:37about you. Right? Can we talk about the8:39story of Job and its lessons? Yep. Job8:41was arrogant and in Job 27 it speaks8:45about his heart specifically five and8:47six. And in the end he repents in his8:49ashes which is Job 42. And the problem8:53with Job is that he had no problems. He8:55thought he could question God because he8:57was good. Right? So yeah, kind of deep9:01here, right? A lot of the lessons we9:03learn from previous churches and things9:06like that are just not it because it's9:08all kind of works based and9:10self-reliance-based while slapping on9:13the label of faith in God. Right. Hi9:16Johnny. I've been struggling to get a9:18job for more than a year with no9:19experience. How can I trust God that he9:22will provide one at his timing? I've9:23been feeling down thinking less of9:25myself. Right. So, but by not looking at9:29yourself, but by by not, you know, not9:32by saying, "Hey, what's wrong with me? I9:35can't find a job. You know, I lack9:37experience. I apply and hear nothing9:39back." That's not the way that God wants9:42to you to see it. The Psalm 37 speaks9:46about this 23- 24. The steps of a good9:49man are ordered by the Lord. Your steps9:52are ordered by God. And though he fall,9:54he shall not be utterly cast down. For9:57the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. So10:00God orders steps and he doesn't abandon10:04you. He's not rejecting you, but he is10:08actually cultivating you. Right? When10:11you look at biblical examples, even10:13Joseph had many dreams, was promised to10:16basically be a king and yet spent years10:19forgotten in prison. David was anointed10:22but ran away into the caves where he10:25wrote psalms. Moses spent 40 years10:28running away after killing somebody.10:30Jesus lived 30 years. We didn't hear a10:33peep. It was in hiddenness before he10:36went live and and public in his10:38ministry. So again, you know, God is not10:42is not saying no. Often times he's10:44saying not yet, right? So you could be10:47in a what they say a season of waiting,10:49but I think it's always a season of10:51cultivating. So trusting God doesn't10:54mean you pretend you're fine. You take10:58all of those things even when you're10:59tired and you go to God. You ask for11:02help even if you're shamed. You learn11:04skills where it's possible. You continue11:07to apply even when you're exhausted. You11:09take small steps instead of these giant11:11leaps. And you be honest with God about11:14discouragement, about encouragement,11:16about how you feel, your traumas, how11:20you don't feel, your frustrations, your11:22happiness, your gratitude, your11:23loneliness. Being honest with him is11:26important. You plan, right? Like I say,11:29plan boldly, but surrender daily. That's11:31that comes from Proverbs 16:9. A man's11:34heart deiseth his way, but the Lord11:36directth his steps. That means you plan11:38and God directs. That's just what it is.11:41Don't not plan. Plan. Keep going. But11:44believe that God is holding on to you.11:46Right? The fact is you haven't secured a11:48job yet. But then your mind through11:50Satan tells you you're useless. You're11:53falling behind. You're, you know, a11:55burden to people. You're you should be11:57further in life. That's that's not a11:59fact. A fact is you haven't secured a12:02job yet. And it stops right there. But12:04then Satan interprets that as oh, you're12:06less than because you don't have a job.12:08you're less than because you don't have12:10faith. No one said that, right? The12:13Bible tells you that, okay, you don't12:15have a job and you acknowledge that.12:17Then God will give you a job. That's a12:20fact, too. Oh, he's going to let you12:21just get born in this world and die in12:24hunger and starvation. Would anyone let12:27their children here do that? And now,12:29how much more so an almighty God? This12:32has to bleed into your heart, right? So12:35the problem is not why haven't hasn't12:37God given me a job yet. The problem is12:40we should be asking is how can I stay12:42faithful? How can I stay anchored? How12:44can I stay grounded while I wait? And so12:47what you have to do is set a daily12:48routine. You have to learn something12:50small. You have to learn a marketing12:53skill. You have to learn, you know, you12:56have to lean on on on people to support12:58you sometimes, right? This is protection13:01and wisdom, right? Oh yeah. I would say13:04those are the things that you need to13:07kind of focus on more than focusing on13:10yourself, right? So, yeah. Pastor, is it13:13weird that I want to go back to my past13:15life? Like, I feel like I'm not13:16surrendering enough. I doubt being saved13:18from time to time to be a bit more13:20honest. I kind of just want to leave the13:22DC, but I wanted to bring this to you13:24first before doing anything. I mean, it13:28just means you're okay now. That's why13:30you want to leave the Discord. You want13:32to go back to your previous life because13:34be not deceived. You know, Satan is13:36working. Why do you want to go back to13:39your previous life? Well, because13:41everything is okay. That's why you13:44believe that it's just it is what it is.13:46You know, but that's not true.13:49Everything's not okay. If you leave,13:51then you'll eventually come back13:54hopefully by grace. But if you want to13:56go back to your previous life, it just13:58means that, you know, Satan has done a14:00good job in deceiving us into thinking14:02that our old lives are good. And14:04everyone struggles with that. You14:06question your salvation, not because you14:10aren't saved, but because you still look14:13at yourself. And when you put yourself,14:15you become your own savior. Some days14:18you feel great, some days you don't. And14:20you base your salvation off of what you14:22feel. And the only time that you can do14:25that is because you look at yourself.14:27Kind of in competition with God. Okay,14:30my life is cool right now. It's not as14:31good as I want it to be. I'll do14:33something else. And so that's fine. But14:36you will end up back here either way.14:39Right. You just will. Amen. Right. Got14:42it. So all righty. Hey, if you're14:45enjoying this episode, I have a whole14:46other video episode on all platforms.14:49YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, all that14:52every single Monday. Each episode is a14:54gospel- centered lesson that you could14:56apply to your life today. So, this is14:58more conversational. You guys know my15:00team, Jeremy and Aaron. We just have a15:02lot of fun. We joke around, but we get15:04serious. We get vulnerable. It's just15:07very, very different and it's beautiful.15:09I hope you guys can tune in. And we made15:11this for you guys. So, please enjoy. I'm15:13really struggling with something you15:15talked about. Jesus covers willful sin.15:17Yet I went against a personal conviction15:19very aware which I've never done before15:21in this way and now it feels hopeless15:23like wrong to think I'm forgiven that15:25because I knew that what I was doing15:27because you don't know scripture right15:29so and that's okay you're not clear of15:33the grace of God and that's okay too.15:36Hebrews 10 26 is not talking about15:39sinning willfully because you know sin15:42and then you fall into it. Who doesn't15:44know not to lie and people still lie?15:47Who doesn't know that sin is sin and15:49people still sin? And if you sit there15:51and you think that you don't sin, you're15:54mistaken. Everybody sins. Everybody15:58sins, right? And so the issue here is16:01people don't understand the context. So16:04willful sinning is knowing that you're16:06saved but still trusting and believing16:09in your thoughts. It's like hearing the16:10word of God and receiving this knowledge16:13of truth, but still going, "Okay, I'm16:15going to choose works based salvation to16:17save myself." That's actually sinning16:19willfully. Jesus came down to die for16:21you. Why? Cuz you couldn't die for16:23yourself. Jesus came down to establish16:25the commandments. Why? Because you16:27couldn't establish them yourself. Jesus16:29came down to do everything for you. But16:31if you think you can do everything for16:33yourself, then that is that in itself is16:35unbelief. Do you understand? That in16:38itself is I don't believe in you God.16:40I'm going to do it myself. So in16:42essence, you are sinning willfully, but16:44not in the way that you think. You think16:47that if you stop your sin through your16:49quote unquote conviction, that's what's16:51going to stop you from sinning. What you16:54don't realize is Jesus already stopped16:56your sins from having any dominion over16:58you. And without Jesus, you can't even17:02sin. Well, you can't even stop sinning.17:05I'm sorry. Right. Because sin is not17:07just I stop this, I stop that. Sin is an17:12identity issue. We're born sinners. So17:14we have to have the blood washed and we17:17have to be reborn as saints and17:19sanctified. So that's the issue. That's17:21why you feel terribly afraid. Even17:24though you know scripture that says fear17:26is not from God. If you're gripped with17:29fear, that's not God, brothers and17:31sisters. That's actually Satan. God came17:34to set us free, not put us back in17:36bondage. Right? So if you feel paralyzed17:38by shame, guilt, and fear, I can17:41guarantee you that God wanted you to17:43spread your wings and not be stuck in a17:45spiritual paralyzing paralysis. That's17:48what we have to learn. We just don't17:49know that. A lot of us guys, our issue17:52is not that we're stupid or we don't17:54comprehend things or even that we don't17:56fully listen. It's that we don't know17:59context. We've we've either been taught18:01incorrectly or we've still been taught18:04correctly, but we don't want to hear it18:06out and it doesn't make sense. Or it's18:07just safer to listen to the things we're18:10used to. We like we like things that18:12make sense. We don't like things that18:14make us surrender. We like sense. We18:16don't like surrender. Surrendering is18:19although this doesn't make sense, I got18:20to give it up to this. We like things18:23that make sense to us because then we18:25think we're in control. But it's the18:27things that you don't make sense that18:29you have to surrender to. Right? If18:31everything made sense, where's the18:32surrender and where does faith have to18:34come in? It doesn't. In fact, most18:37things don't make sense. Amen. Right.18:39Amen. So, this is a good question, a18:41follow-up question. How do you build a18:44non-transactional relationship with God18:46when you go through the storm? Again,18:48even that question is transactional. Let18:51me ask you, why do you want to know18:53that? Watch. I'll help you peel peel18:55back the layers. So you ask right why?18:59How do I build a relationship with God19:01that's not transactional? Why though? At19:04the core of it, that's a transactional19:05question. Let me explain. Let me ask19:08you, let's unpeel this. Why? Why do you19:10ask that question specifically? Let's19:12think about it. I want to be able to not19:15be transactional with God. Why though?19:17So I can have real peace with him and19:19real faith with him. Why? Because I want19:21peace. Isn't that a transaction? Did you19:24catch that? This is why we're wicked.19:26And I'm not saying you're bad. We're all19:28like this. Our heart is always this way.19:32How do I get close to God so that I can19:38benefit off of it? Whether it's more19:40peace, more love, weathering through19:43storms so that I don't feel frustrated.19:45Are you understanding what I'm saying?19:47That's why God needs to show you these19:50things. That's why you're here. Amen.19:52It's not a bad thing. We all do this. No19:54one's better than anybody. Amen. But the19:57beautiful thing is right, we have these20:00main stages to see our heart posture.20:03Nothing to get mad about, something to20:05realize about ourselves. Oh, I'm a20:09person that even in my quote unquote20:12surrender, it's all for myself. Now, is20:15that a problem? No. But you have to20:18acknowledge that. You have to at least20:21acknowledge, oh, I'm a person straight20:24up who doesn't really want to know God.20:27I don't care about him. Make sense? I20:30don't care about him. But yet, even20:32though I'm this way, God still loves me.20:35Gives me the breath in my lungs, right?20:38Gives me the clothes on my back, the20:41food in my belly. Oh, truly, this is20:44what God's love is. It's not weathering20:47the storm. It's even though I go against20:50him every single day and I'm not20:52thankful for him, he still loves me.20:56See, it hits different when you realize20:57like that. Does that make sense? And if21:00that doesn't hit you, then it just means21:02you don't care enough. And that's again21:04still proving my point, which is21:06transactional.21:08And that's okay. That's what you have to21:10pray for. Father God, I don't want you21:13to just get rid of my transactional21:14heart because even that is a21:16transactional heart. Do you see how many21:18layers the devil is in the details,21:20brothers and sisters? He's in every21:23layer of the heart. If you notice, he21:25will make you be less transactional to21:28then feel like you're not transactional,21:30which is actually transactional. Does21:32that make sense? Most people don't know21:35how he works. He works like this.21:37There's levels to this. It literally21:39says the devil is in the details. He's21:42very detail oriented. Satan is very21:45intentional. Now, is that to feel bad?21:47No. Because that's not even your heart.21:49That's Satan's heart. So, what do you21:51have to realize? Like today, for21:52example, I lost my keys, right? I21:54thought for the longest time I lost my21:56keys. And I was like, "Dang, I just got21:58to this place." Like immediately, you22:00know, my heart is like, "God, you're so22:03stupid, Johnny." Like, yeah, you're22:05sick, but bro, how can you lose your22:07keys? Like, do you not check your22:10pockets? Like, what's wrong with you?22:11You know, immediately these condemn22:13condemning thoughts always come, right?22:15Amen. Think about this for a second,22:17right? So, I lost my keys and in my car22:20ride here, it took 30 minutes. I got22:23here, right? When I got out the car, I'm22:25looking all over the place. I can't find22:27my keys. And you know, you ever you ever22:30lose your keys, guys? And and the more22:32you look for them, the more angrier you22:34get, right? The more you're finding it,22:36you're like, man, where is it, man? All22:38these thoughts start to pop up. You get22:40frustrated emotionally, right? Mentally.22:43But for a second, I sat there and I22:45thought about it, you know. I looked at22:46the I looked at the car, it's in good22:49condition. I got to my place. It's in22:53good condition. I find I actually got22:56here. You know how many people drive22:59their car and died today? Probably23:02hundreds of people, maybe if not23:04thousands of people. But was I thankful23:06for that? No. No. My focus was where the23:09hell are my keys? So, I sat there and I23:11just prayed to God. Father God, look at23:13me. Truly, I don't know why you love me.23:16I don't even love me. I'm stupid. I lose23:19my keys. Father God, I always complain.23:23But look at you. Let me get home safe. I23:26could have lost my keys and lost my life23:28today because tomorrow is not guaranteed23:30and every second isn't guaranteed23:32either, right? But yet, you guaranteed23:34my life, right? you guaranteed,23:37you know, my health, my wealth. Sure, I23:40may not be able to get in. If I sleep in23:42the car, I sleep in the car. If I have23:44to call up Jeremy and sleep over or23:46Aaron or Okay, then I'll do that. What's23:49the issue? I at least have them to call.23:51I can call up anybody to help me. I can23:54call my brother, my mom. What's the23:56problem? Right? It's so weird. Right23:59when I had that heart, I realized, oh,24:02my pockets are kind of like shallow and24:06it might have fell between the seat, but24:08like right on the rail. So, I just24:11happened to be like, let me just scoot24:13my chair all the way up and reach from24:14the backside instead of trying to get in24:16from the front side. And lo and behold,24:19it was right on the track where I24:20thought it would be, you know, and I24:22grabbed. I was like, "Wow, God, thank24:24you." Right? And so why I'm saying this24:27is because every little thing we assume24:31should be given to us can be taken from24:35us. Even having your keys is such a big24:38thing, right? But I think I'm supposed24:40to have them. I think I'm supposed to,24:42right? And it's like these hearts. So do24:44I just then go and condemn myself and24:46feel stupid and no. What came to my24:49heart was, wow, even though I'm this24:52high-hearted, God still loves me. He let24:54me find my keys. Many people out there24:57don't even have a house to go home to.24:59He let me He loved me even though I was25:01really complainful. You know, this is a25:03God that I want to learn how to love.25:06Even me, I have to have that heart at25:08times, right? Amen. I realize something.25:11Oh, I don't love God. I don't love God25:14not the way that he loves. And25:16definitely never could I love the way25:19that he loves. And for some reason25:20again, it revitalizes my heart to go,25:23man, I don't love God. And yet look at25:26how he loves me. That in itself produces25:29love. Brothers and sisters, do you25:31really think you love God? Can we not be25:34can we can we be honest with ourselves?25:37You may think you love God. Amen. Now,25:41now let me ask you, brothers and25:42sisters, do you keep all of his25:44commandments so you never sin? Those who25:46keep all of his commandments just like25:48he did, right? Never sinned. Amen.25:52Right? If you keep the commandments, you25:53won't ever sin because what are you25:56sinning if you breaking the commandments25:57is what it's about, right? So if you So26:00you guys never sin. No one here sins. Be26:03honest with yourself. Maybe again you26:05you probably don't think you you sin,26:08right? You think you don't sin. Sure.26:10But if you stand in front of God, I26:12guarantee you, he just has to look at26:13you and he'll see all of your sins that26:14you don't even know you're committing.26:16Amen. So that's what God is trying to26:19show us. Hey brothers and sisters, you26:22can't love me because my love has to be26:25an unconditional 1,000% surrendered26:28obedience. And none of us are that. Not26:31in your standard, brothers and sisters.26:34In God's standard. I can't go to God26:37just like I can't go to the courthouse26:38and say I didn't commit that crime cuz26:40in my opinion I did well. No, your26:43opinion doesn't matter here and neither26:45does it matter in front of God. What26:47matters is his opinion and his laws. And26:50I must say none of us follow that. We26:53all fall short. So people who are26:56prideful, they cannot hear this message.26:58Why? Because they care only about what27:01they think and feel. Amen. What's wrong27:04with saying we don't love God? The only27:06I'll tell you what's wrong. Only if you27:08think you love God and you're prideful.27:10That's the only way. Now, I'm not saying27:13that even being prideful is wrong27:15because everyone has pride. What I'm27:18saying is if you claim to love God and27:20you trust in God and you accept his27:24word, his way over yours and you27:26decrease as he increases, then when it27:28says here, "If you love me, keep my27:30commandments." Why then do we not bend27:33to that? Are you guys following me here?27:36Do you know why God recorded this? If27:38you love me, keep my commandments.27:40He's trying to show us that there's only27:42one person that truly loves God, and his27:44name is Jesus Christ. Who came to27:47establish the law? Jesus. Who came and27:50fulfilled the law perfectly? Jesus.27:52Therefore, who loves God? Only Jesus.27:56And that's why he says, "I am the way,27:59only way. only Jesus. You cannot come to28:03the father unless it's through me.28:04That's what he says. But many of us, not28:07only in this world, but even here today,28:10we have what kind of heart? Oh, I can28:12come to God with my own love. I can come28:14to God with my due diligence. I can come28:16to God with my quote unquote good heart.28:20No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm28:22sorry to say, God doesn't accept good28:24hearts. He accepts God's heart and only28:27God's heart, which is Jesus's heart. Not28:30good hearts, God's heart, because28:32there's no good in us. We're all born28:34sinners. We all fall short. It says in28:36Romans 3:10, there is none righteous.28:39No, not one. Not even one. But people28:41who think that they're good. People who28:44think that they love God, they're the28:45ones who are saying, "Nah, this is28:47baloney. Cut the baloney, Johnny. I love28:50God, and you can't tell me that I don't28:52love God." Yeah. Because you're28:54arrogant. Because you don't believe the28:57word. You believe in your feelings.29:00Understand brothers and sisters. And29:02it's okay. When I realize just like in29:05my example that I don't love God, then29:07all of a sudden that love becomes29:09greater. Wow, God. I'm a piece of29:13garbage human being who does whatever I29:16want when I want and thinking that I29:18still love you when you're the one who29:20preaches the gospel through me. I'm just29:22a vessel. I don't manufacture the living29:25water. you gave that to me and I just29:27carry it cuz that's what a container is.29:29It carries. It doesn't create. And yet I29:32think I can do good things. I think I'm29:34so high-hearted. I think I appreciate29:36things and and I and I deserve things.29:39And even though I don't and I'm that29:41arrogant, you still bless me. You still29:44give me mercy. You still shine your face29:46upon me. You still love me. Wow, God. I29:48really am nothing and you really are29:51everything. And once you accept that29:53heart, you start to move with love.29:56Amen. Are you guys understanding what29:58I'm saying? If you love biblical lessons30:00like this, then you would love my weekly30:02Bible class. Bible class brings clarity,30:05community, and consistency. So, every week30:19at on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. Pacific30:21Standard Time, we go through one chapter30:24and we break down every single verse and30:27apply those verses to your life. If this sounds interesting to30:40you, you guys can check the link in the30:42bio and use code wisdom to get 50% off30:45your first month. See you guys this30:47Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard30:50Time. Is anybody not understanding this30:53concept that I'm explaining to you right30:55now? If not, please speak up. It's okay.30:58It's okay. I understand it can be31:00difficult for some people, but you guys31:02get it. Right. Right. I don't want you31:04guys to to serve God in your standard. I31:07want you to serve God in his standard.31:09That's what we're all about, brothers31:10and sisters. That's what it's all about.31:12Amen. We're all high-hearted. Do you31:15know what that means? We're all puffed31:17up. All of us. Amen. Who here isn't31:20puffed up? We're all puffed up. Right.31:23Amen. Right. Amen. So, what happens31:26then? Who has to change us? Hey,31:29brothers and sisters, if I ask you to31:30humble yourselves right now, do you31:32really think you can? When people ask31:34like this question, so do we just stay31:36that way? I mean, hey, brother,31:37respectfully,31:39no. Do stuff. Change yourself. Can you?31:42Then why are you asking? Do you know why31:44you're asking? Because you think you31:46can. That's what I'm trying to say. How31:48come you guys don't ask me to go to31:50Mars? Right? Why don't you guys ask me,31:52"How do I get to Mars, Johnny? Because31:54you know it's impossible." But then you31:57ask me things like this, right? Why does31:59God say some people kept all of his32:01commandments? Because the way we keep32:03the commandments is through the gospel.32:05By who? Jesus Christ. So Noah found32:08grace in the eyes of God. Why? Because32:10in second Peter, what does it say? He's32:12a gospel preacher. So, how do we keep32:14the commandments? By going to the one32:16who kept the commandments. Why does it32:18say Enoch was perfect? Why does it say32:22Elijah was perfect? I thought there's32:24none righteous, know not one. What's32:26going on here? Why? Because they're all32:28gospel preachers. Why does it say King32:31David is a man after my own heart after32:33he raped Bath Sheba and murdered Uriah?32:37Interesting. Why does he call Abraham32:39the father of faith when he pimped out32:41his wife twice to Aimilec and Pharaoh?32:44Is that what a father of faith does is32:46pimp out his women? Why? What's going on32:48here? I thought I thought that they he32:51they are supposed to keep the32:52commandments. What's going on here? It's32:54because they became onehearted with God32:57through the gospel. Amen. That's what it33:00means, right? Amen. Right, guys? So, a33:03lot of people don't know this. Why? Why33:05did they keep the commandments33:06perfectly? Because they're above the33:09commandments. We keep the commandments33:10perfectly, too. Wait, what? How? Because33:13of Romans 6:14.33:16It's very clear, brothers and sisters.33:18We're not under the law. So, you guys do33:21keep the commandments perfectly. How? By33:24believing the gospel. For sin shall not33:25have dominion over you. For you are not33:28under the law, but under grace. That's33:30how you kept it perfectly. Because you33:32received his grace. But if you have a a33:35worksbased mindset, then you will ask33:37those questions respectfully. You will33:39think that your works keeps you under33:41the commandments. Make sense, right?33:44Amen. That's falling from grace. What I33:47just said, thinking that you can somehow33:50receive, understand what I'm saying,33:54right? The eternal life from what? From33:58works. That's what I'm explaining here.34:00Understand? So read it carefully. Look,34:03I just said it right. The we're not34:05under the law, but workspace mindset34:08people are under the law. So, Ella,34:10please pull up Galatians 5:4. Please,34:12Ella, please pull up Galatians 5:4.34:14They're going to understand clearly what34:16I'm saying here. So, what does falling34:18from grace mean? Read it carefully.34:20Christ is become no effect unto you.34:23Whosoever of you are justified by the34:25law, you are fallen from grace. Pretty34:28clear, right? Isn't that Juanito34:30Changalito just said that, didn't he? He34:32said, "Anyone who's works-based, who34:35thinks that they can keep the law have34:37fallen from grace." Isn't that what I34:38just said? Okay, it's pretty clear. Read34:42it carefully. Christ has become no34:44effect on you. Jesus Christ died for34:47nothing if you think you can keep the34:49law. But why did the brother ask that34:51question? Because there's still a34:53worksbased mindset inside of him. That's34:56why. Understand what I'm saying? There34:59is Christ has become no effect unto you.35:03Whosoever of you are justified by the35:05law, you are fallen from grace. So like35:07I said, legalistic meaning law-based,35:10worksbased people, they are fallen from35:12grace. What do they think? Well, I have35:14to keep the commandments. God said that35:16some people kept the commandments. Why35:17would he say that though? That means in35:20their heart they want to keep the35:21commandments. Okay, then don't fall from35:24don't follow grace. fall from grace and35:27better keep the commandments perfectly.35:29Guys, there's two ways to heaven.35:31Keeping the commandments perfectly or35:33believing in the one who kept them for35:35you perfectly. Up to you. Up to you. You35:38You have that choice. Free will. You can35:42choose, "Hey God, I'm going to keep the35:44commandments and I'm going to be like35:45Jesus." Or you can say, "Hey Lord, I35:47can't keep the commandments. I won't35:49even dare try. I'm actually going to35:52follow you and believe in the one that35:54you sent to keep the commandments for me35:56because it's always about substitution.35:58You had to die in my place. But do you36:01know why people try to keep the36:03commandments? Do you know why? Do you36:06know why they even ask any questions36:08about the commandments? Because deep36:10down they think that they can.36:12That's why. Amen. Because they think36:15they're good. Be honest. You guys think36:17you can keep the commandments? What a36:20silly foolish thought. Understand what36:22I'm saying? What a silly foolish36:25thought. To sit there and read the36:27comments and not even hear me dropping36:28gems and bars is kind of crazy.36:33Understand? But even then, I'm not36:34shunning you for it. I just want you36:36guys to understand how transactional our36:39minds are. Amen. Our mind is so36:41transactional. It goes in so many ways36:45that we're even when I answer it doesn't36:47retain anything because do you know why36:51brothers and sisters do you know why36:53people cannot accept the simple simple36:56gospel? Do you know why? It's only one36:58thing because they're good. That's why37:01the gospel is not for good people. It's37:04for evil people. But you don't think37:06you're evil. That's why you can't hear37:09what I'm saying. Only evil people who37:12are desperate to go to heaven, who know37:14they're going to hell, which is aka37:17sinners and dirty rotten people, they37:20can hear it perfectly. Understand what37:22I'm saying? But people here idolize wor37:25they worship and idolize knowledge. They37:27don't understand any of those things.37:30Amen. Understand? So if you think you're37:33good, be honest and have a true level37:36set with yourself. I think most of us37:38here think that we're pretty good people37:40genuinely. Like we think we're pretty37:42good. Like we know we mess up and but we37:45don't think we're we don't believe what37:46the Bible says about us. We don't37:48believe in Isaiah 53:6.37:51We don't we don't trust those things. We37:54think we do. We don't genuinely we37:56don't. Amen. Right. It says all we like37:59sheep have gone astray. We have turned38:02everyone to his own way. So all of us38:05have gone astray and every one of us has38:08went our own way. So if I tell you guys,38:10hey, you're all selfish pieces of38:12garbage human beings. I guarantee you38:1599% of you guys wouldn't like to hear38:17that. You guys are all selfish. You guys38:19all are only follow yourselves. You38:22think you're all that and you only go38:23your own way. You don't listen to38:25anybody. Amen. But nobody would like to38:28hear that if I said that. Amen. Make38:31sense? Now let me explain something to38:34you guys. Right? A lot of us believe and38:37just a lot of us know. We think knowing38:39is believing. Amen. Amen. Amen. Right?38:43So a lot of us think that but we don't38:45understand what it truly means deep38:48down. So for example, I'll give you guys38:50an I'll give you guys an honest analogy38:53here. Okay? Who here struggles with38:56anxiety and like you know sometimes38:58depression and just sinful things.39:01Honestly, all I'm pretty sure all of us,39:03right? At times we struggle with and39:05Amen. right now, but do you guys believe39:09in the Bible? Would would you do you39:11guys think every single word of the39:13Bible is is the word of God and and39:16inspired by the word? Of course. But I'm39:19going to say something like this. I39:21don't think you guys believe that every39:22single word is inspired by God. I think39:24you guys believe in your feelings more39:26than the word of God. And I'll explain.39:28Can you pull up Jeremiah 17:9, Ella?39:31Please. Thank you. So, let's read it39:34carefully. Please don't type unless I39:36ask you guys this question because I39:37want you guys to see. I want to level39:38set with you guys here. And posture39:40check here. Okay. It's really good for39:42you. Very good exercise. Okay. Take this39:44asformational, not not disrespect. Post39:47it again, Ella. And we're going to break39:49this down. The heart is deceitful39:52above all things and desperately wicked.39:54Who can know it? Amen, guys. Do you guys39:57believe this? Everyone here, please tell39:59me. This is the word of God. It says our40:01heart is deceitful. Feelings, emotions,40:04things are deceitful. Amen. But everyone40:06in here literally just said, "Yes, I40:09have anxiety." Interesting. So if your40:12heart is lying to you and you don't40:14trust pathological liars and the heart40:16is more of a liar, right? More of a liar40:20than a deceitful person, right? Then do40:25you really know yourself? Yeah, I don't40:27trust my heart. No, I believe it's the40:29word. No, I don't think so. Because if40:31you did, you would go, "Wow, this40:33feeling of anxiety and depression, this40:35feeling of it's hard." You wouldn't40:37trust. Amen. No, no, no. No pride here,40:41brothers and sisters. Just be honest40:42here. It's pretty 1 + 1 equals two. If40:46the heart is deceitful above all things,40:48it means it's the top liar, meaning more40:50liar than the most most pathological40:53liar, right? That means you shouldn't40:55trust it. You wouldn't go out there and40:56trust a narcissistic pathological liar.40:59But it's funny. You you trust your own41:01heart. So when you get mad, you trust41:04that anger. When you get stressed, you41:05trust that stress. When you feel41:07lustful, you trust that lust. When you41:09feel frustrated, you trust that. When41:11you feel, you know, belittled, you trust41:13that. When you feel happy, you trust41:15that. When you feel sad, you trust that.41:17So what I'm trying to say is that's why41:19it says here, who can know it? Do you41:23know why God created this in the Bible41:26and why he created this this last this41:29verse here specifically? Amen. Right?41:32But look at people, right? Grace of God.41:34Sorry to say, you have to do a little41:36bit of a better job of listening. It's41:38funny because I'm not even getting done41:40with my point and you're questioning,41:42right? But means negate things.41:44Understand? It negates everything in41:46front of it. You have a very tough time41:48listening respectfully. That's why41:50you're reading the comments and you're41:52right. So, so if you want me to li if41:54you want me to teach you, you got to at41:56least listen, right? So, I'm explaining41:58I'm going to get to that part, right?42:00So, right here in the back it says, "Who42:02can know it, brothers and sisters? Who42:05can know it?" Means what? Who knows,42:08right? That means nobody knows this42:10about themselves. That's why God, right,42:14recorded this. Okay. But why do people42:16then say, "But God told me and I feel42:20that's not God. God doesn't speak that42:23way. Discernment comes from what? The42:27heart. Did you know that God gave us a42:29new heart? People also quote that.42:31Ezekiel 36:26.42:34Hey Johnny, God gave us a new heart42:36though so we could trust that heart. Do42:39you know what the new heart is? And a42:40new spirit. Do you know what that heart42:43is? That's what Ezekiel 36:26 says. It42:46says, "The new heart, a new heart also42:49will I give you. and a new spirit will I42:51put within you. I will take away your42:54stony heart out of your flesh and I will42:56give you a heart of flesh. Do you know42:59what heart of flesh means brothers and43:01sisters? Let me explain something. Is43:03flesh good or is it evil? It's evil,43:06right? So what is the heart that God43:08gives you? The new heart of flesh43:11meaning what? Oh, I'm evil inside. I43:15can't be trusted. Do you understand? Oh,43:18I can't trust myself. That's the new43:21heart. Not but I have spirit. I'm good.43:24No, you've always trusted that. Your43:27first heart, brothers and sisters, was43:29always I believe in myself. I'm a good43:31person. Your new heart is, oh, I'm not a43:34good person. I'm only fleshly. And in my43:36flesh dwelleth no good thing. So that43:39means my heart is no good. That's the43:41new heart. Do you understand? Do you43:43understand now, brothers and sisters?43:46Right? How is it a new heart if you've43:49been trusting yourself? Even before43:51Jesus, didn't you? What's the mantra of43:53the world? Follow what? Your heart.43:56Before Jesus, what? Believe in yourself,44:00isn't it? Isn't it? So, what's the new44:02heart now? I have Jesus. I can trust it44:04more. You've been trusting it. So,44:06what's the new heart? Oh, I can't trust44:09my heart. Who you Who do you think in44:11this world believes like that? Nobody.44:14Nobody thinks I can't trust myself.44:16Everybody thinks no, I got to trust44:18myself. Don't trust anybody else, but44:19believe in yourself, bro. No, you got to44:22believe in yourself. That's how you guys44:24operated for many, many years, too. But44:27what's the new heart now? Oh, I'm not44:29trustworthy. I have to lean on God. Oh,44:32I can't lean on my own understanding. I44:34have to follow God. Feelings change, but44:36the word remains. Oh, I should go to the44:39word, not my feelings. Understand? Now44:43brothers and sisters, understand that's44:46the new heart. But what do people do?44:48Well, God gave me a new heart, Johnny.44:51What's the new heart? Believe in44:52yourself that God will work through me.44:54No, that's not the new heart. You've44:55always thought like that. You've always44:57thought that believe in yourself. What44:59are you talking about? Understand what45:01I'm saying? So, what's new about that?45:04Oh, you you put a little bit of church45:05clothes on it and it's new now. You put45:07a little church vernacular on it, some45:09words. Jesus gave me a heart and now45:12it's new. You still believe in yourself45:14at the core though. The new heart,45:16brothers and sisters, is I cannot45:19believe in myself. Do you understand?45:21That's such a deep unlock. People don't45:24even know that part. Does it make sense,45:26brothers and sisters? Foundationally45:29speaking, this is what God is speaking45:31about. Amen. You guys understand, right?45:34You guys got that? Hi, guys. I want to45:37throw a free event in your city, but I45:38need your guys' help. So, when you go to45:41a Johnny Chang free live event, you can45:42expect to see a sermon from Johnny,45:44teachings from the Bible, a Q&A with the45:46audience, fellowship with our community,45:48and even a meet and greet and pictures45:49with Johnny. So, if those things sound45:51interesting to you and you want that45:52event to come to your city, make sure to45:54send afters to the number on screen,45:56323-6133577.45:59Just text the word afters and that's how46:01you can help. But in order to throw46:02these free events, we also need space.46:04So, if you're a church that wants to46:06partner with us and will allow us to use46:08your building, please hit the form46:10below. And what we're ultimately looking46:12for is somebody that can house anywhere46:13between 500 to 2,000 people, depending46:16on the city and how many people RSVP.46:18But again, just hit the form in the bio.46:20Fill that out and we will reach out to46:22you. And guys, send that to your46:24churches. If you want us to come, send46:25the form to your church. Reach out to46:27them for us and and genuinely tell your46:29friends to text in too. Cuz like when we46:31pick which cities to go to, it's based46:32off of phone number data. We see where46:34are the most core of the heart community46:36members. So if you're living in a random46:38city and you're like, I don't know if46:39he'll ever come, text in. You text in,46:41tell your family to text in, tell your46:42friends to text in cuz we see that and46:44we say, "Oh, there's a ton of people out46:45in Florida. Let's let's figure it out.46:47Let's find churches. Let's figure it46:48out." So that's how you guys can help.46:50Seriously, text in, send the form to46:52your churches. If you guys can basically46:54set this all up, like Johnny will show46:55up.46:56>> And the last thing is we'll give you46:58some hints for upcoming cities. So,47:00we're trying to work on something in LA.47:03There may be something in New Orleans.47:06There may be something in Florida, maybe47:09Chicago.47:09>> Oh, okay. Okay. You're linking to it.47:11>> All right. Yeah. Bay Area.47:13>> Info in the description. Info in the47:15description.47:15>> A different city every month until the47:17end of the year. So, make sure to text47:18in if you want to be on that list.47:19>> Yep. Bye.47:21>> So, when you pull up Ella, pull up47:23Romans 7:18.47:25Why does he say specifically a heart of47:27flesh? Because Paul explains it. Read it47:31carefully. Right. Read it carefully.47:34Read it. Okay. For I know that in me47:37that is in my flesh dwelleth no good47:42thing. So flesh is has some good things,47:46right? No. It says no. Nothing good. Not47:50even one. So if God says I give you a47:53heart of flesh. Amen. What does that47:56mean? What does it mean? Oh, I'm evil.47:59That's the new heart. Ella, pull up48:02Romans 8:8. What does the flesh say?48:05What does it say about the the flesh? So48:08they then they that are in the flesh48:10cannot please God. What does that mean?48:12Because flesh is not good. Only good48:15things please God. Right? It means evil48:17things don't please God. So when he48:19says, I will give you a new heart of48:23flesh. Amen. Right? What does it mean?48:26It means I'm wicked. Johnny Chang.48:29Johnny Chang's wicked. I cannot trust48:32myself before Jesus. You think I I48:34thought that about myself? I thought I48:36was good. Even though I was a gang48:38member, I Oh, I I I could do this48:40because they picked on me first. Yeah, I48:42can go. I'm just protecting myself.48:44What? Oh, I don't have money. I have to48:46rob people. I have to I I deserve to48:48eat. What? Only they can eat. Do you48:51understand? I used to think that way.48:53But now, what do I think? Oh, there's48:55nothing good inside of me. I'm evil. I'm48:57not the victim. I'm the victimizer.49:00I'm horrible. Do you understand now,49:02brothers and sisters? Make sense, right?49:05Amen. Right. So, does it make sense now49:08why I say, guys, it's better to realize49:11that we're evil? Because that's how you49:13truly have the heart of God. Because49:15you're evil. Christ had to die for you.49:18And you can't do anything. That's why49:20God has to die for you. Are you49:22following me, brothers and sisters?49:24Right? But those who are good, what are49:26they going to do? They only follow49:29themselves.49:30They only listen when they want to49:32listen. They only they only follow when49:34it makes sense to them. Why? If you only49:37follow when it makes sense to you, and49:40you only submit when you think it's49:43right and you should submit, then who is49:46God? You are. Isn't that crazy? Okay,49:50that makes sense to me, Johnny. But but49:52doesn't it say that though? Ah, see that49:54doesn't make sense. No. No. Then who's49:56leading? You are. Then who's God? You49:59are. Without even realizing it. That's50:02why God didn't get mad at the woman50:04caught in the act of adultery. That's50:06why God didn't call the woman with six50:09husbands at the well a hypocrite or a50:12viper. Do you know who God spoke to and50:16chastised the most? The people who said,50:19"But I have God of Isaac and Abraham,50:22Jacob, too. I do good, too. Look at me.50:25I'm in the synagogue. I heal, too.50:28You're the only one that heals. I have50:30the Holy Spirit, too." Well, who are50:32you? You're but 33 years old. Abraham is50:35freaking our ancestor, dude. What? But50:37like, you're what? You're the only one50:39that understands. Stupid little old50:41Jesus. 33 33 years old. And you say you50:44know Abraham. Okay. Okay, brother. Okay,50:48calm down, brother. Get off your high50:49horse. You Oh, you can forgive sin. Oh,50:52okay. Okay, bro. Yeah. Yeah. And if you50:56can forgive sin, then I'm a donkey.50:58Yeah. Only God can forgive sin. Are you51:00stupid? God. Okay. Not you, dummy Jesus.51:04You have basobbub. You're a whoremonger.51:07You're always with the sinners and you51:09talk about sin. Okay. Okay. You idiot.51:14Nice. Good job, dude. Do you know who I51:16am? I'm Caiaphas, the ruler. Do you know51:18who I am? I serve God. Do you know that?51:21Do you know I have the Holy Spirit? Do51:23you understand that? Do you know I know51:24about dreams and visions? Were you51:27there? Was your ancestors from Abraham51:29and Isaac's bloodline? Are you stupid?51:32Now, you guys may not say that51:33outwardly, but inwardly that's what you51:36say. I know God. I love God. I love God,51:40too. No, you don't tell me I don't love51:42God. I have the Holy Spirit. How do you51:44receive the Holy Spirit? Don't ask me51:46that. Don't challenge me. How do you51:49know I don't have the Holy Spirit? It51:50becomes this. Do you guys understand?51:53Because we don't know. Rather than51:55wanting to learn with Jesus, they51:57crucified him. Rather than genuinely52:00going, man, you know what? He knows more52:01than me. They didn't mar you marvel at52:04him. Instead, they ridiculed him.52:07Instead, they thought they were better52:09than him. That's why brothers and52:11sisters, the scariest heart is not the52:13woman caught in the act of adultery52:15who's sleeping around, right? It's not52:17the woman who thinks that that she's,52:19you know, so horrible and too far gone.52:22Those people get saved easily. It's the52:25ones who criticize everybody else,52:27right? Amen. Understand what I'm saying?52:30Think about it. If a woman did Only52:32Fans, let's say, in time to time she's,52:35you know, had trauma and she still52:36struggles with her lust. let's say in52:38time to time she slips up but she52:41follows God and she tries her best to52:43also understand the gospel and you know52:46tune into these main stages and prays52:48and asks for repentance and tries to52:51distrust her thoughts and let's say she52:53still struggles because she has this52:55stronghold over her but she comes to God52:57earnestly and honestly in her heart52:58posture and she beats on her heart and53:00goes I'm not a good person I try though53:03God versus someone who's like ew you're53:05a I'm 37 years old and I've never53:08slept around in my life. I'm still a53:10virgin. Look at me. I do so good. I love53:14God so much. I never I don't open my53:16legs to anybody. You must not love God.53:19Who do you think God is going to honor?53:21The woman who's struggling but is53:23sincere in front of God in her heart and53:25realizes she can't do anything. Or the53:27woman who's like, "Look at me, God. I53:29love you so much. I'm not a like53:31that girl over there, aka pride, wearing53:34church clothes. She's keeping her53:36virginity for Jesus. She's keeping her53:38virginity so that she could boast about53:39it. Understand? In the in the core, it's53:42still selfish, brothers and sisters.53:44Amen. Right? And there are plenty of53:46virgins in hell. By the way, don't53:48believe me? Five wise virgins, five53:51foolish. So again, people think if I do53:54well, then that's what's going to help53:57me. Amen. Amen. Understood? But they53:59don't realize that it's Jesus who does54:01it all. Brothers and sisters, that's54:04what I'm trying to ingrain in you guys54:07is that good people don't go to heaven.54:09Forgiven people do. And in order to be54:11forgiven, you must realize how evil you54:13are. Not transactionally, but54:16spiritually. It's the person that for54:18that receives true biblical forgiveness.54:20And that's why they call us cult54:22leaders. That's why they call us54:24heretics because everyone else and their54:26mom teaches you that you're a beautiful54:28child of God who loves him so dearly and54:32can serve him so well. Right? Amen. But54:35what I teach here is we don't love God.54:37We love ourselves. And if you want to be54:40honest, if God didn't give you anything54:43in your life, you wouldn't serve him.54:45Trust me, you wouldn't. Why would you?54:47There's nothing in it for you. And54:49that's not a problem. That's called54:51being human. But you have to realize54:53that. And once you realize that, you54:56start to understand something. Wow, God,55:00you love me even though I'm like this.55:02God, maybe I should change my heart to55:04really love you. Thank you for loving a55:07wretch like me. Thank you for sending55:10Jesus for a piece of garbage human55:12being, selfish, narcissistic tendency55:15person like me. Thank you, God. I don't55:18deserve heaven, but you gave it to me.55:20And that's why, Father God, I want to55:23live for you. That heart entered me,55:26brothers and sisters. That's why I'm55:28doing what I do. That heart has55:30sustained me until now. Amen. Until now,55:33brothers and sisters, genuinely. And I55:36want to transfer that heart to you guys.55:38Amen. We are not better than anybody.55:41We're not, in fact, I would say we're55:44worse than everybody. That's why we55:47receive salvation first because the55:49ungodly receive it, not the godly ones.55:51So don't ever think you're all that cuz55:53you're not. And God will show you that55:56you're not if you think you are55:58genuinely. Amen. Sorry is drinking56:01water. Amen. So I hope you guys can56:04believe that. And you know how how56:07merciful our God is, right? How merciful56:09God is that although we're the way that56:11we are, he still loves us. This is what56:14it means to be loved through the gospel,56:17brothers and sisters. That's what it56:19means. Amen. Loving people through the56:22gospel means realizing, "Oh, I don't56:25deserve love." If you think you deserve56:28love, you're the very person that56:29doesn't, right? You're a person that56:31doesn't deserve it. Amen. But once you56:34realize, "Oh, I don't deserve anything56:36and God still gives me everything." It56:38hits different, brothers and sisters.56:40The breath in our lungs we don't even56:42deserve. Genuinely we don't we don't you56:45know but God he's given us everything56:48man. Amen.56:50Everything guys everything. I'm so56:53thankful for him. Aren't we blessed to56:56have food in our bellies to be alive56:59man? We're super blessed dude. Super57:01blessed man. Amen. So what's the problem57:06in your life? Nothing.57:08Nothing. You don't have a man, no57:11problem. You don't have a woman, no57:12problem. You don't have kids, no57:14problem. You have Jesus, though.57:15Genuinely. Genuinely, Jesus is amazing,57:19guys. Amen. You have Jesus who literally57:24fix every fixes everything for you.57:26That's what it comes down to at the end57:28of the day. Always maintain that heart,57:30brothers and sisters. I deserve nothing,57:33but God gives me everything. Wow. Thank57:37you, God. Thank you. Amen.57:39Thank you, God. Me, too. I've been sick57:42since like the 26th, 27th, you know, but57:46God showed me that even my my health is57:50not something that's guaranteed. It's57:52beautiful, brothers and sisters. I hope57:54that you guys can also hold that heart57:56preciously. Wow. God, give me everything58:00even though I don't deserve anything.58:02Even if I'm not thankful. And it's58:04funny, you know, we only learn after58:06things are taken away, right? When you58:08don't have internet, how difficult is58:11it? When you don't have your phone, how58:13difficult is it? But those things you58:15take for granted every day when you58:17can't take a shower cuz they cut off58:19your water for a little bit, you know,58:20whether it's maintenance or you didn't58:21pay the bill. It's like, oh my gosh,58:24dude. So frustrating, right? But then58:28every day you have it, you're not58:29thankful every day. So today, you know,58:32pray to God and say, "God, thank you."58:34Look around at all the things that you58:36do have. Tell there's so many things to58:39be thankful for. Your bed, your socks,58:41cuz your feet could be cold and they're58:43not. You know, your husband, your wife,58:46if you can cuddle with them, your AC,58:49your clothes, right? Your shower, your58:52running water, your toilet, your health,58:56your legs, your arms. Gosh. Right. Amen.59:00Your car, your bank account, your job.59:04Gosh, there's so many things, guys.59:07Genuinely. Amen. Yesterday, I blew my59:09nose cuz I've been congested. And you59:11know what happened? My whole right ear59:14became clogged, like completely plugged,59:16and I couldn't pop it. And right in that59:18moment, I was like, "God, I I know what59:21you're trying to teach me." Again, how59:24often am I thankful for having my ears59:26unplugged, right? Amen. I'm not even59:28thankful for that. And now you took away59:30one. It's so hard. like my ear I59:33couldn't hear. But I sat there and I59:35said, "God, thank you for all the times59:37that I didn't have it." And I wasn't59:39even thankful. Amen. And I realized,59:42God, thank you. Thank you. And sure59:45enough, in a little while, it just it59:47popped by itself and I was very thankful59:49to God. And this morning, I woke up and59:51I was like, man, I'm not clogged up.59:53Wow. Thank you, God. Like, it's so much.59:56Understand what I'm saying? It's so much59:58to be thankful about. It may seem small,1:00:01but it's huge if it gets taken away.1:00:04It's true, right? Amen. You guys got1:00:06that? Oh, it's okay. Pray to God for1:00:09everything and in all things, thank him.1:00:11And you will always be happy this way.1:00:14All right, guys. I got to get to rest.1:00:17Appreciate you guys very much. And I1:00:19hope to see you guys soon. All right,1:00:22have a good night. Take care. Bye,1:00:24everybody.
