I was actually0:17speaking to um how do I say um some of0:22the pastors um just yesterday. I met0:25with Pastor John and a couple other0:26pastors and we were all just kind of0:28sharing our hearts and it was really0:30really beautiful. So I think speaking0:32about that would probably be better. But0:34I can answer some questions before I get0:36into that. Let's see. Pastor had a scary0:40dream that someone was going to do0:41something bad to people in my town.0:42Something bad already happened did0:44happen years ago and I also dreamt of0:46it. I left it in God's hands but I feel0:48lingering anxiety. Um yeah. So just0:50believing trusting the word of God above0:52what we see, think and feel.0:54>> [snorts]0:54>> um you know God is not above those0:57issues and it's kind of ironic we spoke1:00about this just just this heart right so1:04uh as I was speaking to pastor John you1:07know he was like dude Johnny if you1:09think about it like a lot of people they1:11they think you know idolizing bad things1:14like drugs money attention relationships1:18um there's a lot of these things that1:20people miss that are kind of like hidden1:22idols And you know we were kind of1:25having conversation and he's like what1:27do you think is like a hidden idol that1:29a lot of people that you see in core of1:31the heart and I said two things comfort1:33and knowledge right in core of the heart1:36I see people idolize knowledge a lot and1:38they idolize comfort a lot. So wanting1:41peace can become an idol because what1:45happens is it makes you avoid the places1:47that God is trying to grow you. Right?1:50So most of us get this wrong because we1:52think an idol is like a obviously sinful1:55thing, right? But sometimes these idols1:58are very quiet, right? Like like Satan2:01is very quiet. He's very cunning. He's2:02very subtle as it says. So why would an2:04idols be the same? It's not this loud,2:06oh I I worship ball and I'm a pagan.2:08Like no, obviously that's idol worship,2:10but there's also other things that are2:12much deeper, right? So I I kind of I2:17don't know. I I I feel like a lot of2:19people don't even realize that they have2:21kind of trained themselves to be to be2:24served. What I mean by that is they want2:27free teaching. They want free access.2:30They want free time. They want free2:32ministry. Uh what else? They want free2:35emotional support. Um but when we ask2:39for for people to pay attention, to pay2:43with obedience, to pay with surrender,2:45all of a sudden, you know, they get2:48offended, right? And so I was kind of2:50speaking like this to pastor, right? Um2:54we know the difference between truth and2:56lies. The reason why we will struggle2:58and accept a lie is because it touches3:01our truth and it touches our comfort. A3:03lot of people don't realize they have3:04that heart posture, right? You guys know3:07when a person speaks they leak. That's3:08what I say, right? So when people are3:11let's say online and they get angry3:13because you know ministry requires3:16sacrifice, right? So they want you know3:20something that is for example free and3:22it's good for their freedom but they3:25don't want to surrender something that3:27makes them free then they get offended.3:30Right? So uh when you look at let me see3:33Philippians chapter 2 speaks very3:35heavily on this right it tells us to3:37think about other people and to not look3:39at ourselves as number one specifically3:43verse four right it's [snorts] telling3:45us right that you have to think about3:48other people first not your own things3:51basically right so a lot of people think3:54spiritual maturity is knowing the Bible3:56more no spiritual maturity is to think4:00about others above yourself. That's what4:03true spiritual maturity is. A lot of4:05people have been in here and you know4:07for a while but they don't know how to4:08think about other people, right? Like4:10you can know all about the Bible and4:12still be selfish. You can quote verses4:14and still have no respect for other4:17people. You can be speaking in tongues4:19and cussing in English. Right? It's the4:21same thing. Right? So this this is why I4:25think knowledge and comfort become very4:27dangerous because if it doesn't produce4:29love, if it doesn't produce humility, if4:32it doesn't produce selflessness and4:34instead it produces selfishness, I want4:37more of this. I want to learn more of4:38this. I want to grow more into this.4:40Then this thing right here is is all in4:43vain. Right? So when you look at um 14:46Corinthians 13:2 1 Corinthians 13:24:50let's kind of read it together here. And4:53though I have the gift of prophecy, so4:55if I have a gift of prophecy and I can4:56prophesy and understand all mysteries4:58and understand everything and all5:01knowledge, every single thing knowledge5:03and though I have all faith, all faith,5:05all knowledge, all prophecy, so that I5:07could remove mountains, I could even5:08move mountains and have not charity, I5:11am nothing. This verse is very humbling,5:13right? Paul doesn't say if I have5:16knowledge and no love, no charity, then5:19I'm not that good of a servant. No, he's5:20literally says I am nothing. So yeah,5:23learn the Bible, study, ask questions,5:26right? Grow. Absolutely. But if the5:28knowledge that you learn makes you5:30spiral more, makes you go down rabbit5:32holes, makes you, you know, uh, entitled5:36instead of empathetic and compassionate,5:39then you're not becoming spiritual,5:42you're becoming egotistical, right?5:44Understand? The reason why I don't try5:46to teach so much knowledge uh is because5:50it moves you from this idea of being a5:54servant to now being a consumer. like5:57you start to consume knowledge, start to5:59become big brain. You don't want to6:01listen anymore. And you listen only to6:04be a consumer, not a a follower. Do you6:07guys understand what I'm saying? Right?6:10So the difference between a consumer and6:13someone who uses things for their6:15benefit is for their benefit. So a6:17servant will always be like, "Okay, how6:19do I show Jesus in all of this?" Right?6:21And a consumer will be like, "Well, what6:23can I get out of this?" Do you6:24understand? What I've noticed in a lot6:26of people is that they want to follow6:28Jesus. And they say that, but deep down6:31what they really want is Jesus to6:34protect their comfort and restore their6:37comfort levels. Everybody says Jesus did6:39everything for me. Anybody can say Jesus6:41is my Lord and Savior. But where the6:43struggle is I see in people, I was6:45telling Pastor John is [snorts] when6:48spiritual life starts to expose the6:51flesh, right? So like everyone loves6:54what Jesus does for them. No one debates6:56that. But there are parts even in us6:59that we don't want God touching in our7:02lives that are convenient to us. Even if7:05it's good for us to remove it, if it's7:07convenient and and pleasurable, we kind7:09of low-key don't want God to touch it.7:11Understand what I'm saying, right? So7:14what I what I noticed too is there's a7:16lot of people who are very, how do I say7:20how do I say this in a nice way? who7:22worship comfort, right? Obviously,7:24right? And the comfort, the reason why7:28people like comfort so much is because7:31it's it it's comfortable, right? It7:34makes you chill and you don't have to7:35really be challenged. But one thing I7:38was reading, I was reading over Jacob7:39again and I was looking at Jacob's life,7:43Jacob and Esau. Jacob is a very weak7:45person, extremely weak and um very7:49lacking, very very sad.7:52uh pretty much just not a really normal7:55person, right? But he comes into power7:57because he gets blessed by his father uh8:00with the help of his mom. He starts to8:02kind of win wars and he starts to do a8:04lot of these things. [snorts]8:05But the one thing I noticed about him8:07[clears throat] was that he has a moment8:09of weakness where he goes to this place8:12called Sakath. Uh there he wants to8:16build himself a house, right? And he8:19made these like this this this this8:22booth for his cattle. So he's settling8:24there, right? But God already told him,8:28I want you to come to Bethl, right? I8:30don't want you to come to Sakoth. I want8:32you to go to Bethl. Bethl, however, is8:34very very harsh, right? But Bethl means8:37house of God. So God tells them, "Leave8:40this place. Come back to me, house of8:43God, right? But you settle in your own8:46sakath." what happens in Genesis 34.8:50It's kind of crazy. He goes through uh8:54you know Sakath and he's thinking this8:56place is amazing and whatever right but8:58then his his daughter Dena gets raped in9:02Sakoth right so during that time that9:06happens and then his his kids go crazy9:10because of that obviously right his sons9:12and they go and they start murdering9:14people. So now you're in a you're9:16foreigner. You come to this foreign9:18place called Sakoth. You handle justice9:20your way and now everyone is arising9:22against you. How do you think Jacob9:26probably felt? Man, I came to this9:28place. My kids kind of like messed it up9:30for me. I didn't do anything wrong. I'm9:32just trying to chill and relax. And but9:35in Genesis 35, God tells him, "Go to9:39Bethl. Go back to Bethl." Right? Because9:41Bethl is the place where he fled from9:43Esau. So he doesn't want to go back to9:45Esau. Obviously that's his brother and9:47you know whatever. But what I realized9:49is people would focus on why did God9:52allow you know Dena to to get raped his9:56own daughter? Don't you doesn't God9:58protect the children of Jacob if he's9:59blessed? But true blessing is not what10:02people think it is right. True blessing10:05is cursed, right? And poor are the10:07spirit. So people who are poor in10:09spirit. When you're comfortable, you're10:11rich in spirit. poor in spirit is dang I10:14need God. Right? When I when I read this10:17this message, I was able to see10:19something very clearly. God is always a10:21reconciling God. He's always a God of10:25restoration, too. So, something tragic10:28happened. It wasn't God who did it. If10:30he just listened and he didn't go to10:32Sakath and he went to Bethl, that10:34wouldn't have happened. But what did10:36Jacob choose? He chose his own way that10:37so much so that his family paid for it10:39too. He was paying for it. His family,10:41right? In the same way, this is what10:43happens to a lot of us. We choose our10:45way and then we go, "Why God?" Right?10:48But the truth is God was never like,10:50"Hey, just just I'm going to like hurt10:52you." It's like he then uses this thing10:54to turn him back and and that's what10:56humbles Jacob. He goes back to Bethl.10:59Right now, when I was reading this, I11:02reflected on my life a lot, too. What11:04happened to [clears throat] my life11:06that, you know, made me live so crazy?11:08And the one thing was I chose comfort. I11:11chose knowledge and wisdom by myself11:13without Jesus. And um I didn't even11:16realize that I was worshiping peace11:18instead of the prince of peace. And I11:20recognized something. There's a reason11:22why Jacob wanted to be comfortable and11:25Jacob struggled with perfectionism. I11:28saw a lot of myself in this story. Wow.11:31How come Johnny always struggles with11:32perfectionism? Do you guys know why you11:35guys struggle with perfectionism? Like11:36trying to be perfect, having everything11:37down pat. What do you guys think it11:39really is? I'll tell you what it is.11:41It'll blow your mind because you can11:43only see it in this scripture. Safety,11:45pride, control, not necessarily. Deeper11:47layer than the control. You think you're11:49good? Not necessarily. Recognition,11:51fear, not necessarily. Expectations, no.11:54We think we're God wisdom. No. Do you11:56want me to tell you why we struggle with11:59perfectionism and trying to have12:00everything down pat? Um, [snorts] that's12:02why you guys got to get more discerned.12:03Man, none of you guys answered12:05correctly. And I'll explain what it is.12:07Okay, this is humbling, but it's true.12:09because you know that you're lacking. So12:13when you're really really lacking and12:16you're really really weak, you need to12:18hold on to something that makes you12:20strong. Being perfect makes you strong.12:24So you know deep down, damn, like I'm12:28genuinely weak and and lacking. I suck.12:33I don't have control of this, this, and12:34this. Sure, but I need to now be perfect12:38in order to show that I'm I'm good. Do12:42Do you understand what I'm saying? So,12:44yes, it's a form of control and belief.12:45Sure. But it's way deeper than that.12:47What it is is more of I'm so weak and so12:51imperfect now. I have this desire to be12:54perfect because I don't want to be12:56imperfect. Do Do you understand what I'm12:58saying? Right. So, when I saw Jacob, oh,13:01Jacob is weak as hell. He's a mama's13:03boy. But why does he want to go to13:05places where he can chill and relax so13:08that his his his weakness won't get13:10exposed? But that is actually curse,13:13right? My my understanding of spiritual13:16life before I understood spiritual life13:17was no problems, no issues, no lackings.13:21We're strong now. We're good. We're13:23courageous. We're amazing. We're bold.13:24No, that's not what spiritual life is.13:26Spiritual life is constantly being13:28chipped down to nothing. That's what13:30true spiritual life is. But we avoid and13:34just like Jacob went to Sakath, I also13:36went to my own sakath, right? And later13:39God was like, "No, no, no, no. You got13:41to go to here, preach the gospel." But13:44I'm like, "Ah, I don't want to do that."13:46So what I realized about God that's13:48really merciful about him is that he13:51disrupted my comfort because he knew13:54that comfort would destroy my calling.13:56He knew. I didn't know that. I didn't13:58even care. Right? So he was like14:00basically I'm going to ruin your plans14:02before your plans ruin you type of vibe.14:05Now people don't like that but deep down14:07when you think about it that in itself14:09is mercy. Right. Right. So when I think14:12about it you know I'm very thankful14:14towards God. Like dang I have this14:16desire [clears throat] to be perfect.14:19Number one it's because I'm weak and14:21imperfect. So I want to be perfect.14:24People who act hard it's because they're14:26weak and they're scared. Right? people14:29react to everything and say I don't need14:31validation is actually people who really14:33want validation because the more you put14:36on that type of front right like a14:38perfect person would just be perfect14:40they don't try to like talk about it a14:42humble person is just humble they don't14:43try to be like look at all the things I14:45did that made me humble right because14:47they just they they just are right but14:50people who are like amen and trying to14:52teach other people it also shows that14:55they're weak and they want validation14:57that they know that they don't know14:59anything about the Bible. So, they try15:00to quote scripture more to show and15:03maybe cover a little bit that they do15:05know about the Bible. Do you guys15:07understand what I'm seeing it in here15:08real time? Right? Make sense? Nobody15:10told you that faith would come with this15:12many unanswered questions. You pray, you15:14read, you fast, you tithe, and yet15:17you're still not growing. But there are15:18things that you're still carrying that15:20you haven't said out loud to anybody.15:21Not because the answer doesn't exist,15:23but because you don't know who to ask.15:25That's exactly why every Tuesday I do a15:27group mentorship session. You bring your15:30questions and whatever you've been15:31sitting on, whether it's a decision you15:33can't make, past trauma you're still15:35working through, or a relationship15:36that's draining you, and I answer them15:38scripturally, foundationally with15:40biblical truths that meet you exactly15:42where you are. Even if you're not ready15:44to ask a question yet, come and listen15:46in. Because chances are somebody else in15:49that room is carrying the same weight15:50you are. It doesn't matter if you're new15:52in faith or you've been walking with God15:54for many years. No question is too15:56small, too messy, or even too15:58complicated. The group mentorship is an15:59exclusive benefit for gold members only.16:02To join, download Coreheart daily or use16:05the link in the description. I'll see16:06you guys Tuesday. What I saw inside of16:09God through this story too and through16:11talking to pastor and all the other16:13pastors was man if you just acknowledge16:18um truly who you are number one it16:21allows room for growth number two it16:24allows you to then think about it and16:27then go over to what the word says about16:29it so although we're lacking there is a16:32verse in the Bible like for example16:33perfectionism right if you don't believe16:36in being perfect, right? Then you're16:39going to try to strive to become16:40perfect. I see this in a lot of people16:43who are believers but aren't really16:45saved. There's a lot of people like16:47that, right? So, there's there's many16:50people who try to be, you know, less of16:53a sinner because deep down they they16:55they sin, but it's be if they just read16:59Hebrews 10:14, they would believe, oh,17:02I'm already perfect through Jesus. But17:04they don't believe it. So they strive17:06for it. And then they get mad at in fact17:08at everybody else who doesn't strive for17:10it because it exposes their weakness of17:12unbelief. Right? For by one offering he17:14hath perfected forever them that are17:16sanctified. Jesus was the one offering.17:19He perfected us forever. Past tense17:21forever means eternally. But if you17:23don't believe this, what will you do?17:25You'll strive to be perfect. You'll17:27strive to be more obedient. you'll17:29strive, right, to be stronger instead of17:33being weak. So, so that's why when17:36people get exposed like you guys, right?17:38Whenever I say something, I'm not like17:40obviously spitting on you, but it can17:42feel like that, right? Because what17:44happens is it's now exposing something17:47in you that you don't want to expose.17:49Right. Right. This happened last time17:51too, you know, um, at one of the events,17:55you know, in in Dallas, you know, there17:58was a brother and a sister.18:00[clears throat] They were like, you18:01know, hugging on each other and and18:02whatever. And then I was told by one of18:04the pastors like, "Hey, we're noticing18:06this, Johnny. These are your18:08congregation. Please let them know." I18:10took them everybody out to eat, paid for18:12all of their meal. And I was like, "Hey18:14guys, you know, just just to let you18:16know, like, don't do that. It just, you18:18know, it it we don't want to put out a18:20vibe because there's other people here.18:21There's children here hugging on each18:23other, you know, doing these things. But18:25one of the brothers, you know, felt very18:27embarrassed because it exposed that, you18:30know, oh, maybe I'm not as discerned or18:33whatever it exposed at that time.18:35Completely closed off, right? Um I don't18:38think ate the meal that we paid for. Uh18:41these things happen. But what I18:43recognized was, oh, we we myself too. I18:47don't want to acknowledge like I messed18:49up somewhere because it's embarrassing.18:51I mean, at the end of the day, it's18:53embarrassing, right? You mess up18:56somewhere, you're doing this, you're18:57doing that, you're leading your own18:58spiritual life, and then someone goes18:59and goes, "Hey, respectfully, you're not19:00living spiritual life." No one likes to19:02hear that. If you guys come in here and19:04I go, "You guys aren't spiritually19:05discerned. You guys are lacking. You're19:07not going to want to hear that. You're19:08going to be like, "Dude, what the hell?19:09What about you?" Like, it's this energy.19:12But the truth is, right, if you just19:14acknowledge that in front of God, oh19:16yeah, I'm lacking. If then you're able19:19to digest it, right, the way that the19:21Bible explains is like digestion, you19:23know, for you didn't want my mana. You19:25seek to get your own mana. For you19:27didn't want my water, you seek to hone19:30uh hune this this uh dist this broken19:33sistern together and you went to go get19:34your own water. So he he uses a lot of19:37things like digestion, right? Drinking19:39water, soaking it up. um soaking in the19:42sun basically like Jonah because we19:45don't want to acknowledge it. So then19:48what happens? We do everything to push19:50it on to everybody else. Man, this19:52pastor's judgmental. You know, it's19:54because of him. He don't know nothing.19:56We were we already did this. We did19:58that. Like it's this energy, right? And20:01I know it so well because I did the same20:03thing, right? But what it comes down to20:06is because we cannot digest it. I said20:10that to my mom too. My mom you know20:12calls me minister calls me pastor. She20:14doesn't be like my son, right? She's20:16very respectful cuz she understands the20:17hierarchy. She she you know came to me20:20with some questions about a brother and20:22a sister at the church who pointed out20:24some of her flaws. Pointed out that her20:26English isn't that good. Pointed out20:28that she doesn't get to the point. She's20:30always just speaking about multiple20:32things and doesn't really understand and20:34just dumps and dumps and doesn't really20:36right speak well. And that's their20:38opinion. I told my mom the same thing. I20:40said, "Mom, right, I I didn't say mom."20:42I said, "Sister Sandy," and that's her20:44name. If you think about it, right, in20:47front of God, when the Bible sits there20:49and tells you, right, that you're20:52lacking and you're weak and that's why20:54God is your stronghold, you can run back20:56to him. Why can't you just acknowledge20:59that, yeah, you you can't get to the21:01point? If you acknowledge that, right,21:03what then would be the issue, sister?21:06Right? I say that, right? And she could21:08cuz I went into like pastor mode, right?21:11I wanted to see where her heart was.21:12Even those little things. My mom also21:14hardened for a second. Johnny, so easy21:18for you to say you can do that. I cannot21:21do that. She getting mad, right? Uh,21:23understood. I understand. It's not that21:26it's easy. You know, I had nothing. It21:28has nothing to do with easy. But then I21:30kind of got more softer. Mom, if you21:33think about it though, if people are21:35sitting here and they can say something21:37to you like that and it can knock you21:39off of your mood to then go and spiral,21:42then human beings have control over you,21:44mom. But you are the precious daughter21:47of God. How can one person, even if it's21:50a pastor, say something and affect you21:54this much to where you're even like, do21:57you think these people are giving a crap21:59about you? Mom, you think that brother22:01who said that to you is is is even22:04thinking and worrying about you? I told22:06her straight up, mom, you should start22:08charging this guy needs to start22:10charging rent. You need to start22:11charging rent for him. She said, what do22:13you mean? He's living rentree in your22:15brain, mom, and in your heart. So much22:18so that you have to have fellowship22:19about it. Mom, if you think about it,22:22what's the problem? And I gave her an22:24example. I should start charging rent,22:27right? I should stop paying rent. I said22:30all the the people on Reddit that I live22:32rent free. All the people that Hey,22:34Johnny said this about me. You know,22:35he's a heritage. I should be living I22:37shouldn't pay rent no more. I live in22:39everybody's heads if that's the case.22:41Mom, do you understand that? I'm over22:42here preaching the gospel. I don't even22:43know them. They hate me. My guts. They22:46spend every every critique, every video22:48that comes out, Johnny a heretic. Every22:50video that comes out, look, he's not22:52right about that. I was following. He's22:53Oh, every video. Oh, Johnny Chang was in22:55the Discord. He yelled at me. He's22:57wrong. blah like literally this is but22:59yet when you look at our lives mom who's23:02more peaceful that woke my mom up right23:05mom God gave you peace God gave you23:09salvation so what if they tell you that23:12you're like that mom you're like that23:13you can just digest it was like oh I23:16understand I'm sorry you know I'm she23:19said sorry I'm sorry I got mad at you I23:21said no mom it's okay like because what23:24you what you hear is that I'm calling23:26you weak I'm Not saying that though,23:28mom. Right? I said, "Mom, you know me.23:31I'm calling you mean things. I don't23:34hold back." All right. I like if I'm23:37trying to be mean to you, I'm not23:39passive aggressive. I'll tell you to23:40your face. And that's with everybody and23:42anybody in here. That's just how I am.23:44So, if I'm saying something, Mom, I hope23:46you can really think about my heart. I23:49don't want you to allow other like I can23:51side with you, Mom. Right. I told her I23:53can sit there and go that brother, he's23:55wrong. Oh, all right. Don't worry, Mom.23:56I'm a I'm a pastor. I can go and tell23:58him and he's going to have to listen. I24:00can power trip. But mom, I don't want24:02you to rely on me. And I don't want you24:04to sit there and fish for, hey, can I24:07can talk to this person cuz they agree24:09with me. Mom, I'm not here to be your24:11God and be an echo chamber for you. I'm24:13here to guide you back to God24:15scripturally. And my mom really24:17respected that. I said, "Mom, I I can't24:19say that I love you if I'm enabling you24:21to live and walk and be weak. That's I24:24cannot say that I'm your son and even24:26your pastor. I would actually be an24:28enabler for you. Do you understand what24:30I'm saying? And she's like, "No, I24:31understand." Right? She get she got it.24:33But a lot of us, we don't have that24:35heart. We want people to enable us. Tell24:38me the good things. Don't tell me any24:39man. If you tell me I'm garbage, I don't24:41like that though. Respectfully, then24:42don't talk about me either. Understand?24:44Why you bringing this up? I already24:45repented. This type of heart too, right?24:48We bring it up so that people can teach24:49and learn, right? But people also in24:52this way get frustrated. So my mom too,24:55you know. Yeah. I felt like, she said, I24:57felt like you're making me feel weak. I24:59said, but mom, what if you are weak?25:02What's the problem with that? You25:03understand what I'm saying? Right? Make25:05sense? It's because she was thinking in25:08the same way. She had a desire. Make25:11sense? She had a desire, right, to be25:14good. That's the problem with people25:17because they're weak. They just can't25:19acknowledge that they're weak. Yeah.25:20They sit there and say, "Oh yes, I'm so25:23weak. I'm so lacking." But you don't25:26believe that. If you are truly weak and25:29lacking, you would run to God right25:30away. Everything would be so thankful. I25:33remember when Pastor John left the25:34church, I literally spent days with him.25:38I was paying for his uh cell phone,25:40which I still do now, and I could see25:43like he was just hitting the limits of25:45like 30 gigs, 30 gigs, right? He's just25:47watching Netflix and just basically like25:50ran away from church, living out of his25:52car, right? I don't know why you guys25:54think that's funny. That's actually sad.25:56But anyways, right? He went and he was25:58doing this. He was This is a pastor26:01who's experienced God who's died four26:04times. Do you understand what I'm26:06saying? who has an amazing testament26:08who's been in in India preached to a26:10100,000 people at one time straight up26:12like Billy Graham level dumbed down to26:15sitting in his own van dragged by his26:17thoughts watching YouTube videos or26:21Netflix right that's that's not26:23something that's sad so Pastor Kim26:25straight up called me Johnny oh lift you26:28know Pastor John out of it what the what26:30the f dude he's my at this time I was a26:33minister I wasn't even a pastor right26:36what the hell He's way higher. He's like26:38a olderassman. How do I go and lift?26:40That's like you me you telling me to go26:42lift you out of something. I can't do26:43that. What are you talking about right26:45now? Right. He said, "Johnny, I don't26:47want to hear Satan talk anymore. Are you26:49going to listen to what I'm saying or26:50not?" Okay. I broke my heart right26:53there. Okay. So, I go and I visit him.26:56He's sleeping. 2 2 p.m. Pull up to the26:59house. Pastor, are you good? Are you27:01here, bro? That's what he says to me.27:04Why are you here? The pastor told you to27:06come, huh? Yeah, but you know, I also27:08miss you, bro. Uh, all right. And I just27:11sat there and I just sat with him,27:13right, bro? You want to go eat? I got27:15you. Before I was famous, obviously, you27:17know, he's like, I'm good. I sat there,27:21crack open the Bible, read it next to27:23him. He's like, gets up, goes to the27:26restroom. I just stay in the room. Don't27:29follow him, leave him. Right. His wife27:31comes in, right? starts to say this type27:34of stuff to me. We're fellowshipping. I27:36leave baby Isaiah comes in and hugging27:38on him and you know all this and he's27:40just like depressed and lonely and27:43miserable and angry and frustrated. But27:45he tells me something. Yeah, this is27:48just who I am, bro. I told him too, bro.27:50You know me. I ran away before. You've27:52helped me, so this is just me. And I'm27:55not doing it out of formality either. I27:57genuinely know how it feels, bro. I'm27:59not going to tell you nothing. I28:00straight up told him, "I'm not going to28:01tell you nothing. you don't need to come28:02back to church. I'm not going to28:03chastise you. I'm straight. I'm just28:05here for you, bro. I said, I understand,28:08right? And he [clears throat] kind of28:08looked at me like, "Do you want to go28:10eat?" "No, I'm good." He's like, "Can28:12you leave?" I said, "Absolutely." So, I28:15just wanted to come and see you, that's28:16all. If I do leave, is it okay if I come28:19back? That's all I ask him. He's like,28:21"Uh, think about it." I said, "Okay, how28:24do I get back in contact with you?" He's28:26like, "I don't know." I said, "I can.28:29Can I call you?" cuz everyone was28:31calling him at that time. No, he wasn't28:32picking up nobody. He picked up nobody's28:34calls. I said, "I know you're not28:35picking up people's calls. Is it cool if28:37I call you though?" "Yeah, that's fine."28:39He's like, "I may not pick up though."28:40"Yeah, no worries, but I'm going to I'm28:42just out of respect. I'm going to call28:43you though." Okay. And then I left in28:46the car, I cried because when I saw him,28:49that's like you guys seeing me and just28:51like, "Yeah, I'm not going to preach the28:53gospel anymore. I'm good. See you guys28:55later. Can you leave, please? I'm okay."28:58Like this. You guys will be like, "What28:59the? Come on, Johnny. Come on." Like,29:02"No, it's about the this and man, like,29:04right?" But no, I'm good, man. All that29:06was a lie anyways. I just read in the29:09Bible, guys. Doesn't even do anything.29:10You guys will be shocked, right? And so,29:14I was sad. But when I went back to29:16pastor,29:18I was like, "Pastor, I feel so sad."29:21He's like, "Oh, it's because you have no29:25faith." I was like, "Damn,29:27that's the problem, Johnny. You're sad29:29because you have no faith. You only see29:32him when I look at John Choy." He said,29:34"I see the world's best gospel preacher29:38regardless of what he's doing right now.29:39That's why I told you to go, right? I29:42know he's only open to you." He straight29:44up told me that. I was like, "Damn, he's29:46right." He's like, "That's why I'm not29:47going because I know I would just make29:49it worse. But he is open to you, right?29:51Because you understand him out of29:52everybody else, right?" Straight up told29:54me that. I was like, "Okay." So, I'm29:56like, "Okay, so what's the game plan?"29:57He's like, "There is no game plan. Have29:59faith in God." Okay. I accepted that,30:01too. And so, um, yeah, this happened30:05after. Yeah. So, you know, he he's, you30:08know, we're having that conversation30:09yesterday, too. Like, when he told me,30:12"Man, Johnny, like, I see you level up30:13so much, bro. I learn from you at30:16times." And he's like, you know, and30:17it's the the way that you used to be is30:20not the same person you are now. He's30:22like, and he said it so true. He's like,30:25you know, when we were like brothers in30:26church, do you remember that? I was30:27like, yeah. He goes, we could just hella30:29complain. Do you do you remember that,30:31bro? I was like, yeah, we could just go30:33ah why do we do the Christmas canata?30:35You know, why does everyone want to go30:36to Dallas for the retreat? We don't30:38people, you know, we we spend Christmas30:41all the way to New Year's in Dallas.30:43What the hell is so good about sitting30:45at a Hilton, you know, Marriott,30:47whatever. Whatever. This so stupid.30:49Well, what the hell? But he's like, "But30:51look at you now." You said, cuz I told30:53him, "Every day, bro, of the30:55streamathon, something went wrong." And30:57he goes, "Good." [laughter]31:00Amen. I said, he said, "Because that's31:02how you see God, right?" I said, "Amen."31:05So when I thought about Jacob too also,31:08right? Pastor John was was in this way31:11pushed out of his comfort zone. And when31:13he came back to church, all he was doing31:16was crying. I remember giving sermon, he31:19would cry, right? Cuz he went to that31:22position again of being like nothing.31:25And he came back in the church and saw31:27how grateful it was. He told me straight31:29up, a lot of people, they don't know how31:31much of a blessing CT is. They don't31:34know how much of a blessing being at the31:36church is. They genuinely don't. He31:38goes, "We get corrupted so easily, bro."31:41I was like, "Facts, though. Big facts,31:44right? Like we just forget." Yeah. He's31:46like, "Even with you, bro. I'm sure like31:48you remember parts of prison, but do you31:50remember that anxiety?" And I was like,31:53"Damn, I I haven't had anxiety for I31:55don't know how long, 10 years, probably.31:57Do you remember that depression, Johnny?31:59That suicidal feeling that No, I I don't32:02remember it. It's been so freaking He32:04said, "That's what we mean, bro. We're32:05corrupted already." Right. Facts, right?32:09Yes, we're free, but then, you know, we32:12didn't even have time. He said, "We32:14didn't even have time to think about, is32:18this person disrespecting me?" We didn't32:20have time to be depressed. We were32:21already so engulfed in anxiety and all32:23of that. Like, we didn't even have time32:25to think. Nowadays, we can pick and32:27choose what we get offended about. Cuz I32:30told him about my mom. He said, "You32:31should remind your mom, too, how she was32:34when she had a abusive husband. now that32:36she doesn't have one when she had32:39everyone especially a monster like you.32:41He said right in her own words has a son32:44and your brother as a son but she32:46doesn't what what is she worried about32:48now? Oh that brother said this about me32:52right so when I thought about it too I32:54was like dang this is the wisdom that32:57pastors have to be able to just see from33:00a such a deep standpoint. He told me33:03when people come bro to me and they have33:05all these issues. The one thing I'm33:07thankful about is man I remember having33:09that but because of the gospel I don't33:11have it anymore. [snorts] That in itself33:13is such a level up and such a blessing.33:15But we get mad when we don't get33:17exalted. We get mad when people don't33:19praise us. We get mad when we're weak33:21and we don't want when we get called33:22weak. Understand? Right. These things33:26they struggle. We struggle because we33:29forget who we are. So, Jacob too wanted33:32to be very comfortable, right? His33:35comfort level was very very, you know,33:39deep. Um, and he wanted to to maintain33:42that like so many of us. Do you guys33:45understand what I'm saying? Right. But33:47once you recognize where you came from,33:50then heart starts to change big time,33:53right? And and you kind of start to just33:55acknowledge. Like I said, so many people33:59they're not acknowledged and they're not34:01able to acknowledge things. So they34:03don't they want to be acknowledged, but34:04they themselves cannot acknowledge34:06themselves, but they want everyone else34:08to acknowledge them. Do you see the34:09irony? I'm weak and I don't even want to34:11accept myself. And I'm mad that someone34:13won't accept my mask. [laughter]34:16Ain't that crazy? That's what the devil34:18does to us. I don't even accept myself,34:21but I'm mad if you don't accept me, too.34:23It's like what? That's how people are.34:25So when I when I read this Bible, I saw34:28the depth of it that I could never fully34:32grasp every single thing in the Bible34:36ever.34:38Ever.34:39But Pastor John told me too, he's like,34:42"Bro, what's really good?" And he set34:45such a bar about reaching your limit is34:48that you can't help but go to God. He34:51goes, "Johnny, I can see that God is34:53growing you so much, bro." I said, 'What34:56do you mean? He said, 'Look it, cuz I34:59shared with him, you know, about the the35:01trip and going to Amsterdam. I met with35:03him yesterday cuz I'm going to miss him.35:04I'm not going to see him for a week. We35:06see each other often. So, he goes, "Bro,35:09like you're reaching international now.35:11you're global technically and you can't35:15handle that because how can you a person35:18from the San Gabriel Valley handle35:20meeting all these people and people you35:22know and and even the streamathon you35:24cannot handle it without your team but35:27what I noticed about you bro is that you35:29go to God every single time I was like I35:32mean I have to he's like exactly though35:34but let's say your level the way he35:37explained it was levels let's say your35:39capacity you can handle level 10. So35:42level six and level seven, level eight,35:44even level 9, you can handle35:46difficulties, right? Ranking them from 135:48to 10, if your difficulty handling skill35:51is 10, then 5 6 7 8 all the way 1 to 9,35:55you can you'll be okay. He said, but you35:57know what that'll do to you? I said,35:59what? He said, it'll poison you because36:01when you can handle problems, you don't36:03go to the problem handler, right? Which36:05is God. When you can handle problems,36:07you get high-hearted. He says, "So all36:09these church pastors, do you know why36:10they're high-hearted? Because they're on36:12an island. They don't step outside to go36:16and talk to new people and start36:18multiple churches." He's like, he popped36:20in one time, right, from the Discord.36:22He's like, "Bro, you literally have like36:25700 people, 800 people in the Discord at36:28any given time, any given moment of the36:30day, right? And then someone, one of the36:33brothers or whoever told him from San36:35Diego that there's actually 33,00036:37members in here." That's true, right?36:39He's like, "Bro, you have to manage all36:41kinds of different people and people36:43think it's so simple, right? If he even36:45said, if man, if one question gets36:47missed, then people start to get angry36:49or feel like, oh, you're dismissing me36:51and this and this." And I was like36:52laughing, you know? I was like, "That's36:53so true, right? You could say something,36:56bro, and it's just scriptural." And then36:57people get offended because they get36:59soft about it, right? There's so many37:01things that you cannot handle, right?37:03He's like, "Bro, me and you, we're the37:04type of people that we could never ever37:06even have a platform like this." Because37:09if somebody says something to me, he37:10says, "Right, I I'm going to feel some37:12type of way." In the same way, he's37:14like, "You too, bro. I've seen you,37:16right? He's seen me do crazy stuff.37:18Like, for real, even after being saved,37:20right? He's seen me like pop off over37:23dumb stuff. He's seen me carry my gun37:25and pull up to somebody and, you know,37:28he's seen he's actually single-handedly37:30actually seen this happen. So he knows37:33like, "Bro, you're you're the type that37:35you can't handle somebody saying37:36something to you, but yet there's it's37:39like every day someone is saying37:41something about you." He's like, "I even37:43asked Chachi PT, you know, who is Johnny37:45Chang?" And you know what it spits out?37:47He preaches a false gospel. He's a37:49heretic. He's like, "Even Chad GBT is37:51talking trash about you, right?" He's37:54like, "Because it pulls from so many37:55people's things, right? And that's what37:58what people are are saying." He's like,37:59"But but look at you though. you don't38:01even care anymore. Like when I really38:03think about you, bro, like you have38:04nuncha to that stuff. Like you you're38:06just like cool. Like I get it, but I38:08don't care and you just keep pushing.38:10Right. So he's like that that is not the38:13he's like the I would say the Johnny38:15Chang is dead. Like the old Johnny Chang38:17is for sure dead, right? And so he's38:20like that's what I see in in in in front38:23of God is wow God. like you really are38:26like cuz the things that you're doing38:28and the things that we do as pastors38:30people undermine. He said something that38:32was such a bar too. He said, "Do you38:35know why people get angry and either38:36quit ministry or quit core of the heart38:38or leave the church?" Right? And I kind38:40of knew but I wanted to hear what he had38:41to say. He said, "Because they don't38:44have hope in heaven."38:46When I heard that, that's so simple but38:48so profound.38:50These people don't have the hope and the38:53of the treasures in heaven. So they need38:56to be validated here. If let's say you39:00get something incorrect and people don't39:02care about you here, does that mean that39:06God also sides with them? No. God sees39:08the heart. He knows what's going on. But39:11why do people get mad and leave? Because39:13they don't have hope in heaven. Their39:15hope is on earth. [clears throat]39:17He said, "That's such a sad thing." I39:19was like, "Facts though, that your own39:21father in heaven created the world,39:24created everything, loves you. You're39:27just like whatever." This person though,39:29this person didn't respect me. This39:32person though, he didn't choose me. She39:34didn't choose me. This person though,39:35they didn't validate me. You know, this39:37thing right here, this is very sad. He39:40said, "It's not It's just pitiful." That39:42was the word he used. Pitiful. It's so39:45true. It's so true. Right. So he was39:48like like like your mother too, you39:50know, if I were you, I would tell her,39:52"Hey sister, you need to focus on the39:54hope in heaven." Oh God, even if every39:56the whole world talks bad about you,39:58he's like, "Bro, I'm sorry to say if I39:59talk bad about you, Johnny, you40:01shouldn't feel any type of way. You know40:03why? Because God spoke good about you40:05and highly about you. I mean, look at40:07your life. You're preaching the gospel40:1024/7. Everywhere you go, people are40:13asking you to come to their churches. Do40:15you know how how many churches we went40:17to that we have to like pay them or try40:20to like really like butter them up for40:22them to even allow the building that God40:24gave them for us to use and preach this40:26gospel? Bro, people are freely just40:28giving it to you, you know? And he goes,40:32he used a word that was like in Korean40:35is like mentally challenged.40:38So you guys caught astray, those who,40:40you know, don't see that in me. He goes,40:43"If the people can't see that in you,40:45they're mentally challenged. That's the40:48only way. If they get mad at you, if40:50they don't, if they challenge you, if40:51they think that they're genuinely40:52mentally challenged themselves, how can40:55you not see God in Johnny Chang's life?"40:58He said that. But sadly, people can't41:01because they cannot acknowledge41:02themselves. That's the problem. Make41:05sense? They cannot acknowledge41:06themselves. Why? Because they only41:10acknowledge themselves. I was like,41:11"Huh, that's so deep." They cannot41:14acknowledge the truth about themselves.41:16They only think about the good about41:18themselves, basically, right? We're all41:20guilty of this. We cannot acknowledge41:22how stupid we are. We cannot acknowledge41:25all of our blemishes and flaws. We41:27actually make excuses for those things.41:30And that's what keeps us from growing41:32spiritually. It doesn't, if you think41:34about it, it doesn't affect anybody but41:36yourself, right?41:37>> Nobody told me that faith would be this41:39lonely. I thought when I gave my life to41:41God, everything would just click.41:42Community, peace, direction. A lot of us41:45are out here just trying to figure it41:46out alone. Your family thinks it's a41:48phase. You go to church on Sunday.41:49You're smiling. And then on Monday,41:51reality hits and you're back alone in41:54your home in your thoughts. I know41:56exactly what that's like. I got out of41:57prison at the age of 25. I didn't have a41:59church home. I didn't have friends. I42:01didn't even really have family to back42:03me up. I had God. I had a Bible. But42:05more importantly than anything, I had a42:07pastor who I could lean on to ask42:08questions and to just receive mentorship42:10and have fellowship with. And the thing42:12that changed everything for me wasn't42:14just studying alone. It was actually42:15having someone I could bring my real42:17questions to. Not the Sunday school42:19questions, the real ones, the ones that42:21keep you up at night. The ones that make42:22you feel unworthy because you can't42:24figure it out on your own. Therefore,42:26you feel as if you're less of a42:28Christian. That's why every single42:29Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard42:30Time, I go live inside the Core of the42:32Heart daily app. First, we do a full42:34Bible class. Real teaching, not that42:36surface level stuff. We go super deep.42:39You were never supposed to do this42:40alone. And now you don't have to. Bible42:42class every Saturday at 10:00 a.m.42:43Pacific Standard Time. Can't wait to see42:45you guys there. There was a brother42:46recently, too, that came to me and he42:49started to get into the book of Enoch42:52and the Gospel of Thomas. And when he42:55read it, he was telling me, "Johnny,42:57bro, I don't know why you don't teach42:59about the book of Thomas and the Gospel43:01of Thomas and the Gospel of, you know,43:03Enoch. They're so inspired by God." And43:06I told them, "How did you read this?"43:09Well, what I did was I Googled like, you43:11know, Book [clears throat] of Enoch43:14gospel- centered lessons. And then it43:17put it rerouted me to Chad GPT. And I43:20said, "Interesting. Have you read the43:22full book?" He said, "No, I've only read43:24the parts that I feel like are gospel43:25centered because you said if I just look43:28for the gospel and everything, that's43:29fine." I said, "Right, but those books43:31are straight up not inspired by God,43:33though. That's like you might as well43:35open Harry Potter and say, "Wo, this is43:38so gospel centered because Voldemort is43:41is Satan. Harry is like Jesus." Um, like43:45like I mean, you could make an argument43:47for that. Sure. Sure. Gollum and43:51Schmegle is or whatever it is like Lord43:54of the Rings, right? They're like mixing43:56the two now, right? That's that's us. We43:59want to serve. We want to be precious,44:01but we also are wicked. And then it's44:04like what the Right. It's like you could44:06say that Harry Lord of the Potter.44:08Exactly. Right. Lord of the Potter. But44:12it's like it's it's it's it's funny.44:14Right. We can do that. You can do that.44:16Absolutely. Right. But is it really what44:20or you can go to the book that God said44:22was inspired? I mean, so I told him,44:26"Brother, please um focus on the44:28gospel." Oh, no. I am I am right there.44:32You know what I did? I stopped talking.44:34Do you know why I stopped talking?44:35Because he has to rot. He cannot hear44:37what I say anymore. Everything I say44:40comes with the counter. Okay. It took44:42him 2 weeks to the day. 2 weeks, bro. I44:47started to question my salvation. I44:49started to think, dude, if there's44:51fallen angels here, like, are we are we44:56fallen angels? Are we are we going to44:59die, too? And then what what if all of45:02this is a lie? Like, what if what you're45:04telling me is a lie? I told him in the45:07beginning, I told you to follow the45:09gospel, right? I told you all I I I45:11reiterate this every single time here is45:14focus on the gospel. You wanted to focus45:17on other things. You want to watch other45:19pastors. You want to watch other45:20preachers. You are big brain. He's very45:22big brain. You think you're good. You45:24think you can figure it out. Yeah. In45:26the end, you will just be It's kind of45:30like reading Reddit and reading forums45:33and reading hate emails. No one ever45:36reads a hate email and go, "Woo, I feel45:38so refreshed." No one ever reads a a45:40crappy comment and goes, "You know, that45:42was for me. That's amazing. I'm45:43humbled." Nine times out of 10, you read45:46it and you're triggered. You're angry.45:49No one watches the news and goes, "Wow,45:51this is amazing." You're watching the45:53news going, "Dude, did you see what45:54happened, bro? Like, Israel's at war now45:56and oh my gosh, it's the end times." And45:59like, you start doing this, right? Make46:01sense? Start to do these things because46:04what you feed through your eyes, what46:06you feed to your heart even in your46:09brain is going to have control of it.46:11So, if you go down rabbit holes, guess46:13what? Your salvation will be rabbit46:15holed. But am I really saved? Am I46:17really not? But but am I though? What's46:19wrong with me? Is there But that kind of46:20makes sense. But that also makes sense.46:21But what Johnny says also makes sense.46:23What the hell? Does he have it right? I46:24don't think he has it right. Cuz this46:25makes sense. But then that also makes46:26sense. But he didn't know that's true.46:28And you start doing that. You're46:29literally creating problems for46:30yourself. For what? Understand? Trust46:32me. If I kick it with the homies long46:34enough, I'll be right back at it with at46:36the strip club with them. I'll be doing46:37all of that stuff. Extra out, right?46:40It's the same thing. It happens. It's46:42just how it is, right? It says bad46:45company corrupts good morals. So, if46:48you're around Satan long enough, you46:50will be corrupted, too. Guys, listen to46:52me carefully. You have to give Satan a46:54little bit of like put some respect on46:56his name a little bit, right? He was46:59able to trick a third of heaven to leave47:04the side of God and come down to earth47:10and ultimately hell with him. I don't47:13know what it is, but he's like a aura47:15maxer. He's got max aura as the young47:18children say. He He's got something that47:21that people are like, you know what?47:23You're better than God. You you got to47:25understand the level of manipulation you47:29have to have, the level of charm and47:32cunningness that you have to have to be47:34Satan. If he can trick a third of47:37heaven, what the hell do you think he's47:40going to do with you respectfully?47:42That's why I said put some respect on47:44his name. Amen. Right? Put some respect47:46on his name. But people don't do that.47:49They trust their thoughts. Listen to me47:51carefully, guys. I must say when you47:54trust your thoughts, and I'm not saying47:56this for you guys to get condemned, but47:58you have to get convicted a little bit.48:00When you trust your thoughts, you're48:01basically listening to Satan. You do48:04know that, right? You do understand48:06that, right? So, it's very difficult48:09because we get it, but we don't care,48:12right? A lot of people, they trust their48:14thoughts this way. They follow their48:17heart this way. And little do they know,48:19they think it's their heart. But God48:21already said, "I gave you a new heart."48:23That means the old heart that arises is48:25not even from you. It's from Satan.48:27Remember, he's a painter. At the end of48:30the day, he can paint crooked, distorted48:32imagery, and plant those things in your48:34heart, in your mind, too. He will tell48:36you this is good. He will tell you that48:38is good. He will tell you sleeping48:39around is good. He will tell you doing48:41drugs is good. He will tell you do this,48:42do that. He will. And you'll just follow48:45it. You know what I realized is we're48:47just dumb sheep. Sheep have a tendency48:50to follow, right? Make sense, right? You48:53guys understand what I'm saying, right?48:55Lil me too, right? Even this this heart48:58that you have, you know, always trying49:00to understand, always trying to get it49:02clear and anything I don't say, you49:05cannot accept it and doesn't make sense49:07to you, right? Amen.49:10Got to figure it out. Is he saying to49:11respect the enemy? Like, what the hell?49:13Like, uh, why don't you do that to your49:16thoughts? Why? Why do we do that? Why do49:18we checkbox everybody else but our own49:21thoughts? Are you trying to tell me49:23right now that I'm depressed, but I'm a49:25new creature? Why don't you do that to49:27yourself? I don't understand. Right?49:29That's how people are. That's what I'm49:31saying in real time. We we love doing49:33that. It's okay. But we have to realize49:37one thing.49:38Even the thought in real time, as I'm49:42saying, the questions that come up, I49:44just said, can be from the enemy, but we49:47don't care. Do you mean respect to fear49:49him? Well, I'm just trying to figure it49:51out. I'm just trying to make sure49:53because I do respect you and I do want49:54to hear you, but right, it's always the49:57butt, right? No, of course. When I say50:00put some respect on his name, I'm saying50:02it's just respect. not respect in in in50:05enamoring him and going, "Yeah, you're50:07amazing. Let's go to hell together." I'm50:10saying, "You better understand that he50:12can trick you and that's why we need to50:14run to God, right? We have to go, okay,50:17this person, like I don't like my50:19enemies, right, in the streets, but I50:21respect that they'll slide on me and50:23shoot me. So, I'm not just going to walk50:25around like these fools ain't going to50:27do nothing, homie. You know who I am?50:29Big bad whatever gang." Like I would no50:32I would literally be like all right I50:35know this f shot this dude I know he50:37done shot the homie in the face like I'm50:40pretty sure he did that to me and so I50:42got to be a little bit aware when I go50:43here when I go there I got to park this50:45way I got to do that. It's the same50:46thing with Satan. It's having a50:48spiritual awareness about him. Right?50:50Satan's biggest deception is I'm weak50:52and I can't do anything. No, no, no, no,50:54no, no, no, no, no, no. He's very50:56powerful in a lot of ways. His biggest50:59trick is that he makes you love the lie.51:02The lie that he gives you, he makes you51:04love that lie. Understand what I'm51:06saying, right? Right. So, at the end of51:08the day, this is kind of what it is. And51:10again, if you're helping people and51:12answering people here, right? Make sure51:14that uh you you know, watch the main51:17stage rules and read them. Understand?51:21Right? If it's like scripture, that's51:22fine. But right, [snorts] if we're51:24talking about something deep and people51:26ain't listening respectfully, you don't51:28need to be here. Is that fair? Is that51:31fair? It's fair, right? You understand s51:34sermon, right? Make sense? Okay. All51:36right. Very fair, right? Cuz like I51:40said, um there's a heart posture to want51:44to again teach people and show people51:46and do those things, but we have to also51:49set some boundaries. And this is also a51:52good lesson too. Setting boundaries with51:55God too at the center of everything.51:58Understand? You're not listening. But52:00that's okay though, right? Yeah. You52:03think you are, right? So yeah, sorry.52:06It's just true. Yeah. So yeah, please um52:09don't get butt hurt when you get52:11checked, right? I think you can just52:14acknowledge like you want to help other52:16people, but you're not equipped to do52:18so. And I know that's hard to hear even52:21with the tonality, but that's what you52:23need to hear. You get what I'm saying?52:25That's what you need to hear, right? I'm52:27sorry, but it's true. You know, hey, if52:30I can't run away from pastor telling me52:32certain things and telling me that I,52:34you know, trust myself that you can't52:36either. It's just the truth. That's52:38everybody here, right? Amen. It's just52:42the real. If you seeking attention, you52:44do. I'm going to I'm going to have to52:45tell you guys that, right? Amen. So,52:47yeah. Anyways, as I was saying, the52:50brother was spiraling because he trusted52:52what he saw, right? He trusted what he52:55saw and what he thought about himself,52:58right? But you guys can't like you can't53:02digest the things that pastors say to53:04you or even that the preachers preach to53:07you and even the Bible. Do you know why?53:09Because there's a filter. Make sense?53:11There's a filter here. We filter53:13everything. But we got to get rid of53:15that filter. Amen. We got to get rid of53:17the filter. That's what it comes down to53:19at the end of the day, right?53:21[clears throat] And I'm talking about53:22these things, right? Everything is being53:25answered from the pride to the great53:28commission, all these things. If if you53:31guys were to listen, it it all revolves53:34around what I'm saying right now. Cuz53:36how do you think I can deal with 80053:38people in here in here and just only53:41talk about what I want? Do you guys you53:43guys don't think that I know exactly53:44what you guys need to hear, right? Amen.53:47Right? Think about it. Right? We're53:49literally answering everything like53:52foundationally. So, he's talking about53:54pride, right? Even the great commission,53:57right? Let's talk about this. Can you53:59please talk about the pride and how54:00dangerous it is to be a newborn54:02Christian? Like I said, what was I54:04saying? The brother couldn't acknowledge54:06himself as a newborn Christian. He's54:09going down rabbit hole after rabbit54:11hole, right? Newborn is anything that's54:14before reading the Bible five times54:16front to back to me is still newborn,54:18right? That's still a newborn because if54:21you don't know the Bible, you don't know54:22God because the word is literally God.54:25So, you can be 50 years but still a54:28newborn if you haven't read the Bible54:30multiple times. Because how would you54:32know God? Where do you draw it off of54:34your own thoughts and feelings? Right? I54:36knew a guy who used to play basketball.54:38Give you an example. He would wear a54:40Kobe jersey. He would play at Almanzer54:43Park, which is in my hood in Alhhamra.54:45And he he would call himself Asian Kobe.54:48Asian Kobe, right? And he would always54:50wear the jersey. He would play. And he54:52was there for years. Like he played54:53there for like I'm pretty sure he's54:56still there now, right? But does that54:59make you Kobe Bryant or even leveled up55:01in your game? He was trash [snorts]55:03at the game. No one would pick him up.55:05They would just like watch him. He just55:07[clears throat] hang around, right? He55:09was he was cheeks for real. He sucked,55:12right? For real. For real. Right. But in55:15his brain, he's like I'm And he I would55:17see him like he would make one shot and55:19he would be so happy. He would like55:21bankshot everything, you know? Use a55:23backboard on everything. Bro would be on55:25the side baseline trying to bankshot it,55:27right? Understand? But but when he made55:30that one and everyone would go, "Whoa."55:32He would think like you would walk. He55:34would do this walk like like the Vince55:36McMahon,55:38Shane McMahon walk. The walk that Conor55:41McGregor does, right? Legit though.55:44Legit. And he's like, "Yeah, you see55:46that Kobe? Yeah, Kobe number one." But55:49in his brain, he really feels that55:51though. He's dulu for real. But he felt55:54that. That's me and you when it comes to55:56the gospel. I am close to God though.55:59When someone who really is close to God56:01and reads the Bible looks at someone who56:02isn't, that's how we feel. Damn. When is56:05this brother or sister gonna realize56:07that they don't know jackly squat? That56:09everything that they go off of is56:10emotion. Look, I'mma prick it a little56:11bit and they going to feel some type of56:12way right now. What's the context of56:14this this and that? Well, well, the56:18context is faith without works is you56:20just your faith will produce works. No,56:22not necessarily. Who is it speaking to?56:23It's speaking to all of us. No, no, it's56:25not. James 1:1. Well, you know what? I56:29don't like you. Okay, you you're you56:30don't you can teach, but you teach with56:31a lot of pride. Just so you know, you56:33simmer down. God gave you the grace. You56:35know, they start doing this because what56:37they're doing is they're basing56:39everything off of emotion. You know what56:41happens with me when I learn from other56:43people and it's really deep. Like when56:45Pastor John unlocks things for me and56:47tells me I didn't know something, bro, I56:49get thankful. Do you know why? Cuz in my56:52heart, I know I don't know anything. But56:55if I approach him and I go, you know who56:56I am? Johnny Chang. 6.5 million56:58followers across the board. Nasty. By57:01the way, when I say they leaving my57:03mouth makes me feel disgusting, right?57:06Understand? You You ever been to57:08Amsterdam to preach? I'm preaching at57:09Amsterdam. Booked out shows yada yada57:12yada. You can't teach me about that57:14scorpion king. Simmer down, bro. You57:17died four times. I done shot four57:18people, right? You seen God once. I made57:21four people see God. Right? Like stupid57:22stuff like this, let's say. Right?57:24Understand? Right? When I hear him57:27correct me, I'm thankful. Do you know57:29why? Because that's the level up. So,57:32Baby Christian's great commission,57:34right? How does this tie into57:35everything? Think about what I'm saying.57:37Think about what I'm saying, right? I'm57:39tying in from a deeper level. What is57:41the deeper level here? If you57:43acknowledge who you are, you cannot have57:46pride. You're hot doodle garbage. That's57:48what you are. How the hell can you walk57:50around only if you're delusional? Do you57:53understand what I'm saying? Same thing.57:55You want to do the great commission. You57:57want to be able to preach the gospel.57:58You want to be able to do these things,57:59right? And he says, "Go and preach58:01disciples, make disciples of many. You58:03think you can do that with your heart58:04posture that doesn't read the Bible,58:05that only wants comfort, that only wants58:08foundationally things that gives you58:10knowledge and wisdom, let's say." And it58:12goes back to the checkboxing that you58:14checkbox people. This has to make sense58:16to me before I follow you, let's say.58:19How can you grow, right? Like going back58:22to that dude, he's older. He loves doing58:24the hook shot. Like you know Magic58:26Johnson and Kareem like they do the58:28little hook shot. You know how undated58:30the hook shot is? If you do the hook58:32shot, people gonna laugh at you. They58:34got the euro step now. They got all58:36kinds of like crazy stuff like in58:38basketball that's like damn, you might58:41as well shoot from the free throw58:42underhand. Right. Right. Understand?58:45First and foremost, WBY don't even have58:47to do a hook shot. Bro could just stand58:49over you and just Right. It's all in58:51your face. So anyways, he was do he58:54would do the hook shot. It would be a58:56hook bank shot. And I'm like, you didn't58:58learn from Kobe, you learned from magic.59:00I think it's a different era. But he59:02loved that though. Do you understand59:04what I'm saying? He loved that. Right.59:06Right. And so it's the same thing. If he59:10only practices the hook shot, then we59:12don't need to worry about him driving to59:14the basket. We don't need to worry about59:16him shooting threes. We just got to59:18worry about the mid-range, right? That's59:19all we got to worry about when we play59:21defense. In the same way, this is what59:23we do spiritually to ourselves. Oh, I'm59:26only going to know about gifts. I'm only59:28know going to about tongues. I don't59:29care about spiritual life. I care about59:31comfort. I care about verses that59:34support my comfort and my theology. In59:36this way, you are handicapping yourself.59:38If you checkbox things, what you're59:41doing is you're building an arsenal of59:43not only delusion, but you're building59:45an arsenal of deviation. You will59:48deviate. If I train, even with working59:50out, if I just do bicep curls on my59:52right arm, it will be ripped, but my59:55left arm, everything else on my left59:57side will be weak. If I only do upper1:00:00body, and you guys seen this, and you1:00:02see the men with chicken legs, but big1:00:04old top, right? You you do one leg kick1:00:06to a Muay Thai leg kick, they're1:00:08screaming, "I'm sorry, I wouldn't want1:00:10to fight anymore." That happens all the1:00:11time, by the way, right? Because it's1:00:13literally like a bat to the leg. If you1:00:15know how to leg kick somebody, bro,1:00:16trust it's over. That's why people when1:00:18they get down, no kicking cuz they know1:00:20if someone can kick you, they'll1:00:21literally kick your legs from under you.1:00:23You won't even be able to stand, bro.1:00:24And at that time, you just going to be1:00:25begging for mercy. I've seen it happen.1:00:27Right? In the same thing, in the same1:00:30route, if this is like this physically,1:00:32you think it's okay to do this1:00:33spiritually, you are completely1:00:35corrupted if you think that. We have to1:00:37genuinely treat this like a full1:00:39workout. You have to hear the good and1:00:41the bad. Do you understand what I'm1:00:43saying? You have to be able to see the1:00:45heart of God. You have to be able to1:00:47grow and also be chastised but also be1:00:49lifted up. This is how you grow. You1:00:52don't just go out there, you know, make1:00:54Johnny Chain Clippies and think, "Oh,1:00:55because I'm part of the Clippy team or1:00:57I'm part of the mod team or I'm part of,1:01:00you know, I make my own clips. I have my1:01:01own YouTube channel." That doesn't mean1:01:02Jack Daily Squad. To people who have1:01:04been it and in the in the thick of it,1:01:06trust me, nurturing and spiritual life1:01:09are the things that actually grow1:01:11people. The gospel, everyone loves the1:01:14gospel. I noticed that about people.1:01:16Everybody loves the gospel. Understand1:01:18what I'm saying? But the gospel itself1:01:20will will just be knowledge and it turns1:01:23students into consumers. You just1:01:25consume it. You don't actually become a1:01:26student. Understand what I'm saying? And1:01:29comfort without the king becomes your1:01:30king. That's literally what it is at the1:01:32end of the day, right? It becomes your1:01:35king. So how do I answer things1:01:37foundationally? Right? Make sense,1:01:40right? Look, even with St. Anthony, I1:01:42literally answered this. Look, I'll do1:01:44it again. Pastor, my church asked us to1:01:46dream big. Life has a way of causing me1:01:48to abandon my dreams and I haven't1:01:49dreamed big in years. When sharing what1:01:51our big dream is in a prayer circle, I1:01:53didn't share because I know I I think my1:01:55dreams or wants are not big enough,1:01:56selfish, and maybe not God's will.1:01:58Right? How do I move forward? How should1:01:59a new Christian like myself dream big1:02:01and be aligned with God? What did I just1:02:03say? What did I say earlier? Right? The1:02:06issue is not the dreams and all of that.1:02:08What is the issue? Alignment with God.1:02:10We have to work on everything. Your1:02:12church is telling you to do something.1:02:14That's important. Sure. But how do you1:02:16move forward with humility? Oh, I don't1:02:19dream big, but God is bigger than any of1:02:21my dreams. And any dream that I ever1:02:23dream, God obviously provides more. But1:02:26this is foundationally thinking about1:02:28God, right? Foundationally, it's1:02:30thinking about less of yourself and more1:02:32of God. It's studying to know his heart,1:02:34like I said in the Bible, right? But you1:02:37can't even dream big because you can1:02:39dream big. How do you know it's aligned1:02:40with God? And that's the that's the1:02:41dilemma here. So the issue is not even1:02:44your dreaming big or how do you move1:02:45forward, right? The issue isn't even the1:02:48alignment with God. The issue is1:02:50recognizing and acknowledging like I1:02:52just been harping on who you are. You1:02:54can never be aligned with God. You will1:02:56always want what you want like everybody1:02:58else here. But you have to realize that1:03:00that's what's going to get you aligned1:03:02is the realization of those things. This1:03:04ties into everything. Spiritual life and1:03:07the gospel are these things. Spiritual1:03:09life is I got to distrust my thoughts. I1:03:11got to follow the servant. I got to1:03:12follow God. The gospel is Jesus Christ1:03:14died for my sins. They're two separate1:03:16things. They work cohesively 100%. But1:03:20they're two separate things. A lot of1:03:22you guys know about gospel. But when I1:03:24look at your spiritual life, it's zero.1:03:26You have no spiritual life. Do you1:03:28understand what I'm saying? Just big old1:03:30brains. That's it. No spiritual life. No1:03:32disciples. Not really working on people.1:03:34Not really understanding how to even1:03:36check heart posture. don't even know how1:03:37to read another person's heart posture,1:03:39let alone your own, right? And we're1:03:41worried about dreams aligning with God.1:03:43No, no, no, no. Before all of that, we1:03:45have to do foundationally the things1:03:47that I'm trying to explain here that1:03:49people don't really care about because1:03:50it's too little. The gospel is kitty1:03:52pool to them. Yeah. Yeah. Gospel's1:03:54possible. How do I do this? How do I do1:03:56that? Right? And like I said, if you1:03:58align, right, and you understand that1:04:00the comfort becomes your king if you1:04:03don't have the king at the center of the1:04:05comfort. that if you chase peace, that's1:04:07an idol because you're supposed to chase1:04:08the prince of peace. That these types of1:04:11things, as I'm saying, are going to get1:04:12you aligned. You don't even have to ask1:04:14for alignment. We are aligning here. But1:04:16the issue is we only focus on the things1:04:19in a box like what we marginalize1:04:21things. Understand what I'm saying,1:04:23right? In the same way, right? Even with1:04:25Lette, look, this is a completely thing,1:04:26but I'm going to tie it completely1:04:28different, but I'm going to tie it back1:04:29into the same thing. Pastor, my daughter1:04:30is having a hard time trying to express1:04:32her feelings and wants wants with her1:04:34dad. She gets so small and in her shell1:04:36when she when he starts yelling or1:04:38starts to raise his voice at her, right?1:04:40What should I tell her or how can I help1:04:41her? Same thing. Wait, how does this1:04:43align with spiritual life and the1:04:45gospel? How does this align with right1:04:47the different things? Very simple. You1:04:49teach your daughter about the gospel.1:04:51You teach her foundationally. Hey, and1:04:53what I just said earlier, right? It1:04:56doesn't matter what the father says. It1:04:58matters what what the real father says.1:05:01You can also pour into your daughter1:05:02this way. Hey, of course dad's that's1:05:05dad's flavor. That's how he is. He just1:05:08raises his voice. There's nothing wrong1:05:09with that, right? The issue right now is1:05:12that you think there's something wrong1:05:13with it because if he raises his voice,1:05:15that means he doesn't respect you. But1:05:17if you really think a little bit deeper1:05:18foundationally, does dad love you? He1:05:21does. He didn't just raise you to do1:05:23like that. So you she can also bend her1:05:25heart, too. An apple that's like an1:05:28apple, you can't ask it to be a mango.1:05:30No matter how hard it tries, you can1:05:32paint it and whatever. It's not going to1:05:33taste like it. So, we have to digest a1:05:36person, too. Oh, that's how they are,1:05:39right? But what do we want? No, we want1:05:41everything to be set out correctly. And1:05:43you have to explain to her, this is1:05:45really good for you. What? Dad, yelling1:05:46at me is really good. Yes, because it1:05:48leads to spiritual life. Mom, what the1:05:50hell is spiritual life? I'm so young. I1:05:52don't know what it is. Yeah, but you1:05:53plant seeds from a young age. Spiritual1:05:55life is not trusting yourself and what1:05:57you think and feel and how other people1:05:58should act and trust in God because this1:06:01is now what you can go to God about. Hey1:06:02God, my dad's doing this to me, but he's1:06:04not my dad. He's your son. If you see a1:06:07fit, can you change him? Understand what1:06:09I'm saying? But what you want in your1:06:12core, right? Because you don't have1:06:14spiritual life too, respectfully, is you1:06:16want to be the person that guides your1:06:17daughter, which again isn't wrong. Isn't1:06:20wrong. Understand? It's not a bad thing1:06:22that you want to do that. Understand?1:06:24The issue is we filter. The issue is we1:06:27don't even know how to think this way.1:06:29We put ourselves in this position of I'm1:06:32at the center and I have to help them1:06:35and then I I I'll pray for them. Prayer1:06:37is important 100%. Why not believe them1:06:40and truly lead them to spiritual life?1:06:42Understand what I'm saying? Make sense?1:06:44Right? So that's what it comes down to.1:06:46Even this question look it1:06:48foundationally I'm answering everything1:06:49you guys still want to ask but I'm going1:06:51to just I'm going to just tell you right1:06:53right here so how so would it be okay to1:06:55teach a disciple as you are learning1:06:56about the Bible I'm not I have not read1:06:59the Bible fully yet but I'm reading it1:07:00more and have learned a lot from you and1:07:02to talk to my family about you anytime1:07:04they struggle and are seeking advice um1:07:07again it comes down to the spiritual1:07:09life aspect of course learn those things1:07:11sure the gospel but understand one thing1:07:14their salvation belongs to God. Your job1:07:16is to just learn more about the gospel.1:07:19Yes. But also really learn spiritual1:07:21life because that's what they're going1:07:22to see before they hear the gospel.1:07:24They're going to see the gospel through1:07:25your life. That's what I'm saying1:07:27foundationally here, right? So to see1:07:30the gospel in your life is to learn more1:07:32about spiritual life. Well, how do we do1:07:34that? By not only reading the Bible, but1:07:36listening carefully to what I'm saying.1:07:38Oh, I acknowledge that I'm nothing. If1:07:40they say something about me, I won't get1:07:41mad because I've acknowledged that I'm1:07:43nothing. foundationally it comes back to1:07:44this humility, right? Which they'll see.1:07:47Understand? And if you want to teach1:07:48other people, it's better to show other1:07:50people because that's what's going to1:07:52teach them. Like if you try to explain1:07:54fear to some a kid, right? Versus you1:07:58pull out a knife. What do you think is1:08:00going to teach them quicker? Do you1:08:02understand what I'm saying? Like you can1:08:03explain till they're blue in the face.1:08:05You know, there's this thing and if this1:08:07happens, oh wow, that's scary. But like1:08:08if you rush at them with something,1:08:10they're going to be like, "What? What1:08:10are you doing? What are you?" like right1:08:11away they're going to register it. In1:08:13the same way we are these types of1:08:15people, right? We we are we we we need1:08:18to learn like oh if I look at somebody1:08:20that's what's going to change people,1:08:22right? Enough of the explaining. I would1:08:25say it's important to show enough of the1:08:28I got to learn more and I got to1:08:29understand cuz that that just gets your1:08:31head super big. That then gets you to1:08:33then have to manage. Oh my gosh, I know1:08:35so much now. Why doesn't this person1:08:37listen? Yo, mark my words. That is1:08:39exactly how people will be. Understand1:08:42what I'm saying, right? It's this type1:08:44of thing of like we have to focus on1:08:46those things, right? Right. Amen. Um, so1:08:50deliverance is because you don't know1:08:51what that is, right? And that's okay.1:08:53You're seeking help for them with1:08:54schizophrenia medication. I'm not a1:08:56pathologist. Of course, you should give1:08:58them the medication, but I think you1:09:00should go to the healer, the true1:09:01healer. Again, foundationally, notice1:09:03how it still has to go back to God. one1:09:06way, shape or form, it has to go back to1:09:08God. Right? If you learn about spiritual1:09:10life, you will realize that1:09:11schizophrenia is a issue with the world.1:09:14But God is not of this world. Right?1:09:16He's very very spiritual and he can heal1:09:19all things. If you need scripture 100%.1:09:21But more than knowing the scripture, we1:09:23have to believe the scripture, right?1:09:25Isaiah 40:31 is really, really good. All1:09:27of Isaiah 53 is really good. All of1:09:30Isaiah 54 is really good. 55 as well.1:09:33those three chapters plus Isaiah 40:31,1:09:36that verse is amazing for healing, but1:09:40you're thinking, I can tell that you're1:09:41thinking deliverance is different1:09:43because you don't know what deliverance1:09:44is. You think deliverance is like a1:09:47demon inside of her causing her1:09:48schizophrenia potentially or whatever,1:09:50right? That's not what deliverance we1:09:52need. That's not the deliverance we1:09:53need. We need Colossians 1:13, true1:09:56biblical deliverance, which has1:09:58delivered us from the power of darkness.1:10:00So schizophrenia is dark. Sicknesses are1:10:03dark. They're of the world, which is1:10:05wicked. Cancer is dark. No one's like,1:10:08"Yay, I got cancer. Yay, I got1:10:10schizophrenia." No. Bipolarism,1:10:11whatever. All that is dark. So the Bible1:10:14says right here, "Who has delivered past1:10:16tense from the power of darkness, Satan,1:10:20and has translated transferred us into1:10:22the kingdom of his dear son." So do you1:10:24need more schizophrenia medication?1:10:26Sure, to help him with those things. But1:10:28what you need, sis, is also a heart1:10:31posture of Jesus already delivered my1:10:34son, my my daughter, whoever, right? My1:10:36kid, my child. That's not me. I don't do1:10:40anything. He did everything. What I see1:10:43right now is just what I see, right?1:10:46That's not the truth. That doesn't shape1:10:48reality, right? It's a time and a season1:10:50and a place. Make sense? And this is1:10:54where God is going to walk me through1:10:56these things, right? But we just have to1:10:58realize, oh, there's a lot of faith1:11:00here, right? Men in the chat, too. Our1:11:03issues stem from faith. When a when a1:11:05person doesn't respect us, we we don't1:11:07it's because we don't have faith and1:11:09we're immature in that that faith. Why1:11:11do you expect somebody to respect you if1:11:14God already respects you and died for1:11:15you, right? Ladies, too, you guys get1:11:18mad when you know men play you or men1:11:20don't respect you. Like if you really1:11:23believe the word spiritually, you would1:11:25be like the Bible says all men are1:11:27liars, let God be true. Says everyone's1:11:29a liar. Let God be true. Technically,1:11:31right? It says that he is my true1:11:33husband, right? So, isn't it ironic?1:11:36There was a sister one time, I remember1:11:39she had left the church, but uh Pastor1:11:41Kim had asked me to have fellowship with1:11:43her. She had uh was it three or four1:11:48baby daddies. So she kind of like had a1:11:51lot of you know like trauma back then1:11:53and whoever she was with she would just1:11:55have a kid with and it was like a lot of1:11:57stuff. So she had a lot of compounded1:11:58trauma. She left the church though. But1:12:00before she left the church pastor was1:12:02like hey can you go and fellowship with1:12:04the sister? Just a lot of trauma. She's1:12:06been and she's from you know South1:12:07Central which is the hood you know. Um1:12:11it's it's very how do I say it's very1:12:14deep right? She's she's she's she's in1:12:16this deep deep depression. She has1:12:18distrust to everybody, which is true.1:12:20She didn't trust anybody saying anything1:12:22to her. She hated men. She said it1:12:23herself. I hate men. I hate men. So I'm1:12:27like, "You sending me to go talk?" Well,1:12:28she tried to send sisters and they would1:12:30she wouldn't listen cuz she would always1:12:32use the card of you ain't been there.1:12:34You don't even know what you're talking1:12:35about. Like you can't talk to me like1:12:36that. That's how she would literally be1:12:38speaking to these people, right? And1:12:39it's true cuz they they she grew up in1:12:42South Central. She grew up around the1:12:44hood. She seen her uncle get shot. She's1:12:46been molested by her uncles. She's been1:12:49like all this stuff, right? So, it's a1:12:50lot. But the one thing was like she1:12:52can't hear what anyone says unless right1:12:57they understand her. So, she was with uh1:13:01supposed to get married in the church1:13:04but the brother backed out and the1:13:05brother was from Africa and he you know1:13:08was a a short-term missionary. He was1:13:10came to America and so he backed out.1:13:12He's like he didn't choose her1:13:13basically, right? And right there she1:13:15popped off like straight up popped off1:13:18from this person, right? And was angry1:13:20and frustrated was like, "F this guy. I1:13:22knew it. Like church is this this and1:13:23this." So she wanted to leave because of1:13:24that, right? She ended up leaving. But1:13:27before that, I remember meeting meeting1:13:29up with her and I came with the heart1:13:31kind of like to gain her heart similar1:13:32to I did with Pastor John before. But1:13:35she just wasn't having it. So she sat1:13:37there and she's like, you know, all she1:13:39was talking about was like, "Man, I'm I1:13:41I you know, I so caring. I have1:13:44salvation now. Like how come this guy1:13:46doesn't want to choose me and you know I1:13:48I don't understand. I've like submitted1:13:50my life to God and blah blah blah. And1:13:52I'm like letting her obviously cuz I1:13:54know she needs to get it out there and1:13:55show how great of a person she is,1:13:57right? But later I was just like, "Hey1:13:59sis, like all I hear is you talking1:14:01about your heart. You know that man is1:14:03not your property." And she's like, "I1:14:05never said he was." She got mad, right?1:14:07The tone changed. I never said he was.1:14:09Right. But you kind of are leaking that1:14:12though. So, you're this good, amazing1:14:14person and he has to choose you, but1:14:15he's not your property, though, right?1:14:17How come you don't believe that God1:14:19already sees you for who you are? Why do1:14:21you need attention from men? Straight up1:14:24told her that. And she's like, "See,1:14:25that's the thing. Like, you was cool.1:14:27Like, I I thought you was from the hood1:14:29and you get it." And I was like, "Right,1:14:30so you're checkboxing me then cuz I'm1:14:32telling you the truth." So, you you1:14:34understand what I'm saying, right? Like1:14:35I'm look sis like I'm not I'm I'm not1:14:38going to sugarcoat it if you want me to,1:14:40but I'm just letting you know. Like if1:14:42you think about it, you you like what do1:14:46you have to stand on? I told her1:14:47straight up, what do you mean? What do I1:14:49have to say? I have the gospel. I have1:14:50Jesus. Exactly. But are you standing on1:14:52the gospel in Jesus? No, you're standing1:14:54on yourself respectfully. They didn't1:14:56choose me. You know, I leveled up. I'm a1:14:59good person. You You're not talking1:15:00about Jesus in this. Well, I mentioned1:15:02the gospel in the be, right? And that's1:15:03all you said. But other than that, look1:15:05at your heart. It's not about the1:15:06gospel. You know what a gospel- centered1:15:08pe person would do? Hey, you know what?1:15:10That's not my person. Even if they came1:15:12through the church, God will either1:15:14prepare somebody for me or he will be1:15:16that somebody for me and he is that1:15:17somebody for me. That's what a gospel-1:15:19centered heart is. Right? She's like,1:15:21"Are you saying that I'm not saved?" I1:15:22was like, "I never said that." But see1:15:24how you interpret and assume what I'm1:15:26saying to you. Right? I got serious with1:15:28her. Right? She was like, "Oh, I'm not1:15:30interpreting it. I just it just kind of1:15:31sounds kind of weird that you're saying1:15:32it like that." I was like, again, I'm1:15:34I'm not sent here to argue with you. I1:15:36listen to everything you said, but1:15:37notice how I say one thing that you1:15:39don't like and you start popping off on1:15:40me, right? I I like you have to let1:15:42people see that, right? And she's like,1:15:44well, I'm not Oh, trust me, I'm not1:15:46popping off because if I really popped1:15:47off, it will be crazy in here right now.1:15:49She's like threatening obviously, you1:15:51know? And I was like, listen, all I'm1:15:54saying is this, right? If you had faith,1:15:57why don't you believe that God would1:15:58bring somebody else to you? She's like,1:16:00I do believe it, but I can't be hurt,1:16:01can I? I could be frustrated, right? And1:16:03I'm like, right, but so frustrated that1:16:05you leave the church that God1:16:06established for you? That doesn't make1:16:08sense. You can be mad. You can grieve.1:16:11Sure, you're hurt. But to go, I trust in1:16:14God so much, I'm leaving him. Like, nah,1:16:16that doesn't make sense. At the end of1:16:18the day, sis, just keep it real. I told1:16:20her, you just got mad cuz she cuz they1:16:21didn't choose you. Would you agree?1:16:24She's like, I mean, yeah, I do agree1:16:26with that. But that's not the only1:16:27thing. It is the only thing, though. If1:16:29he chose you, you wouldn't have said1:16:30that. You would have been like,1:16:31"Hallelujah. Amen. Thank you, God. What1:16:33was the thing that what was the deciding1:16:34factor? He didn't choose you. That's the1:16:37problem here." She's like, "So then1:16:39what? What are you trying to say? You1:16:40just trying to talk down to me?" And I'm1:16:41like, "No, I'm not. I'm trying to wake1:16:43you up to realize that if you choose1:16:44yourself, you can't say that you choose1:16:46God. Do you understand?" And she's like,1:16:48"I understand." She's like, "So, but1:16:50what am I going to do with that?" And1:16:51I'm like, "Right." And that's the1:16:53mindset that you have. How does this1:16:54benefit me? How does this profit me?1:16:56Right? The sister couldn't see that she1:16:59doesn't deserve anything, you know. So,1:17:01I just had to go a little more intense.1:17:03I said, "Respectfully, sis, you got four1:17:04baby daddies. They didn't choose you1:17:06either. You got to think about these1:17:08things. Oh, well, I left them. I did1:17:11that. I did that." Right? But you also1:17:13chose to have kids with them, though.1:17:15You chose these things. Your choice1:17:17doesn't matter. You should be thinking,1:17:19"Dang, I can't choose for myself. God1:17:21has to choose for me." But you still1:17:23think you can choose. That's the1:17:25problem. Four baby daddies later, it1:17:27didn't even break your heart. You always1:17:29thought it was everybody else's fault.1:17:30You get what I'm saying? Even now,1:17:32right? That's the issue, sis, right? Oh,1:17:35so you just like hating on me and you1:17:37just sexist or something. No, I'm not1:17:38saying that. I'm saying look at what I'm1:17:41saying, right? You can't see clearly1:17:43what you you It's everybody else's fault1:17:45but your own, sis. That's the problem1:17:47here. Understand what I'm saying, right?1:17:50But people are this way, right? It's1:17:52it's it's the heart posture. But there's1:17:55also another woman who in our church got1:17:58married. She had two baby daddies,1:18:00right? And she had such a lowered heart.1:18:02She said, "You know what? This person is1:18:04from God. For anyone who even wants1:18:07someone like me, I'm already thankful."1:18:09She gave testimony before she ended up1:18:11getting married. And I I forgot which1:18:12church she moved to. I don't know if it1:18:13was Alaska church. I forget which1:18:15church. It was one of our churches. So1:18:17when you get married in our church, the1:18:18girl moves to wherever the the guy is at1:18:20basically. So brother was from another1:18:22church. Anyways, she in her heart when I1:18:25looked at her heart I was like dude1:18:26you're so much more peaceful versus like1:18:29this sister who's lonely with baby daddy1:18:32drama and like multiple kids right? Like1:18:35it's just bro you like respectfully1:18:38you're not even as happy as these1:18:39people. But if I say that right I told1:18:41her am I your enemy because I tell you1:18:43the truth. That's what Paul said. If you1:18:45just acknowledge that and I gave her an1:18:47example when Pastor Kim tells me right1:18:49you think I like to hear that. Hey1:18:50Johnny, you can only end up in three1:18:52places. In prison, dead on the streets,1:18:54or strung out on the streets because you1:18:56have so much compounded trauma. Do you1:18:59think someone like me wants to hear1:19:00something like that from a Korean pastor1:19:02that never stepped a big toe in my life1:19:04in in a in the type of life that I'm in,1:19:06who's never been in prison, who's never1:19:08done that, who's never I don't want to1:19:09hear that. But what I acknowledged was1:19:12truth. Yeah. Amen. I didn't shot people.1:19:16I didn't stab people. I didn't did who I1:19:18was, right? I didn't did all of these1:19:20things, right? Make sense? And at the1:19:22end of the day, like I I can't help but1:19:25acknowledge that. When I was able to1:19:27acknowledge that, then my heart changed.1:19:30Then God was able to show me and1:19:32acknowledge, hey, you're nothing. I1:19:35stopped trying to look good in front of1:19:37people. I stopped trying to like look at1:19:40me. Oh, I I don't say that. You You'll1:19:42never hear me stand in front of pastor1:19:44and go, "Pastor, my heart is so wicked.1:19:47Pastor, I'm so evil. pastor, I'm that1:19:49like I don't need to do that. I just1:19:50know that I am and he knows that I am.1:19:53Right? So when you think about this,1:19:56it's so it's so deep. You acknowledge1:19:59who you are, which is probably going to1:20:02be a mess up, a lustful person, an1:20:04egotistical, whatever it is that you1:20:06acknowledge and go, that's why I have1:20:09Jesus. It's too much for myself to1:20:11handle. Yes. But because I hit my limit,1:20:13now I have to go to God who defies all1:20:16limits. Right? Make sense? And it can't1:20:18be for selfishness.1:20:21It can't be, okay, I want this so then I1:20:22can be humble. No, you have to1:20:24acknowledge I'm not a person who even1:20:26cares about humility. I only want to be1:20:28humble cuz people will then look at me1:20:31like I'm humble and that's what I like.1:20:33You see the difference here? Do you see1:20:35the difference of the heart posture?1:20:37Hey, I want to be humble because other1:20:39people will think I'm humble. I don't1:20:41really want to be humble. I don't care1:20:42about that. If it don't benefit me, if1:20:44humility didn't benefit people and it1:20:46didn't make other people go, "Wow, I1:20:47really love how like humble these people1:20:49are." You wouldn't do it. Like,1:20:52respectfully, you wouldn't. Do you1:20:54understand what I'm saying? If you1:20:55really think about it deeply, right? If1:20:57we're real real like to our hearts, but1:20:59we don't we can't even The thing about1:21:01it is we can't even think about it from1:21:03that p perspective. Everything is1:21:05profitable for us. That's the problem1:21:07here. Searching for churches, raising1:21:09your children, all of that is for self.1:21:12If you really think about it, do you1:21:13understand what I'm saying? Right? So1:21:15then what do you do? What are you1:21:17supposed to do then? Realign it back to1:21:18God. Hey Lord, you know I don't want to1:21:21be humble. You know I don't care about1:21:22that. You know it's about me. Lord, you1:21:25help me make it about you. I don't even1:21:26know how to stop thinking like this1:21:28limit. You notice how there's a limit1:21:30now. Now God's going, "Good." You1:21:32realize you're at your limit. You aren't1:21:34good. So when he does change you, you1:21:37don't sit there and go, "I'm so humble.1:21:38I'm so amazing. I'm so wic. I'm so1:21:40great. I'm so you don't do that no more.1:21:42I listen so well. I watch every video of1:21:44you, Johnny. I swear I am listening. I1:21:46swear I love you so much, but you don't.1:21:49Do you understand what I'm saying? You1:21:51start to actually realize, "Oh, wow."1:21:54Right? When Pastor John told me, "Bro,1:21:56me and you, bro, we would never be doing1:21:58this." I said, "Facts, right?" He's1:22:01like, "Right, we're eating there." And1:22:02he's like, "Right." I'm like, "Facts,1:22:04bro. We would never do." He's like,1:22:05"Have you ever thought about that?"1:22:07Right? that God one day, nobody in this1:22:09mission was like, "Man, one day God will1:22:11use Johnny Chang the way that he's using1:22:13him." I'm like, "Sheesh." It's almost1:22:15like a dream. He's like, "It is, bro."1:22:17Because, bro, you remember that we were1:22:18here, we were there, we were doing this,1:22:20we were complaining, we're doing all1:22:21that. You were still like smoking, you1:22:23know? You would smoke with like a1:22:24hairet. He's like, "I always thought1:22:26that was funny. You wear gloves and1:22:27smoke with a hairet, run outside the1:22:29back of the church and start smoking."1:22:30This was back in when we were in Korea1:22:32Town, you know. He's like, "I always1:22:34wonder why." Remember when I asked you1:22:35why you smoke with a hairet? I said,1:22:37"Yeah, because it gets stuck in your1:22:38hair." Like I literally have my gloves1:22:40on and all that. And then I walk through1:22:41and somebody's like, "Did somebody1:22:43smoke?" And I'm like, "Sheesh, what the1:22:46hell?" And then I realize it would get1:22:47stuck in my hair. And he's like1:22:49laughing. Dude, we went from that. You1:22:51know what I'm saying? To clowning other1:22:53people. Look at these goody two shoes.1:22:56Yes, pastor. Yes, man. Shut your right.1:23:00Yeah, pass. Yeah, man. Shut your ass up.1:23:02Right. Oh, I'm so bad. I'm so wicked.1:23:04Man, shut your ass up. Who? So, as soon1:23:06as somebody says something to you, you1:23:07get all mad trying to act all good. Shut1:23:10your ass. Literally, I would say that.1:23:11I'll be like, "Man, these fools acting1:23:13like they're super spiritual." He goes1:23:15from that to going, "Wow, look at now1:23:18you're preaching." You know, right?1:23:20[clears throat] So, I was able to see1:23:21that, too. Dang. Went from that to1:23:24falling asleep in the sermons to1:23:26complaining, why the hell are we doing1:23:28this, man? And why we got to go to1:23:30Dallas and drive 23 hours in a freaking1:23:32Sprinter van and 15 passenger and you1:23:36know just people farting up a storm in1:23:38there just French ovening everybody for1:23:41for what? For the gospel to now going1:23:45ooh that's what nurtured us. That's what1:23:48allowed us to grow. That's what allowed1:23:51us to to be able to deal with people1:23:54like this. Right? He's like, "Think1:23:55about it, Johnny. Everybody accessorizes1:23:58you. Everybody thinks you should do1:24:00this." Him, too. If you guys are in San1:24:02Diego, you better put some respect on1:24:04Pastor John. Seriously, for real, he's1:24:07always always dying for you guys. And1:24:10trust me, that ain't him. That's God.1:24:13So, please respect it like it's for God.1:24:15Man, there's people that I know like,1:24:16"Pastor John, really? He was a mentor?1:24:19Really?" I'm like, "Man, I should have1:24:21feeling like going back to the old me in1:24:24those moments." Like what? And put some1:24:25respect on. Have you went to Africa?1:24:28Have you, you know, preached the gospel1:24:30like he has. Have you boldly did that,1:24:32man? You don't even know nothing. You1:24:33can't even get out of your depression1:24:34and your loneliness, man. Right. He was1:24:37sharing with me that somebody was mad1:24:40because, you know, they weren't1:24:42listening. And they were from Core of1:24:43the Heart, too. And I got pissed. I1:24:44ain't going to lie. I got mad when he1:24:46said this that basically like they don't1:24:48even really come to church, but they1:24:49want to have a leadership role. So I1:24:52straight up told him, "How the hell you1:24:53going to have a leadership role and you1:24:55ain't even in the church? You don't even1:24:57come to church. You come to church once1:24:58every like 5 months, two months, 31:25:00months. What you talking about right1:25:02now?" And they're from CTO, too, man.1:25:04Who needs a spanking? Right? I didn't1:25:06teach y'all to do that. That's why I1:25:07don't give out church information. You1:25:09understand what I'm saying? All trying1:25:11to come to him with this same energy.1:25:13But okay, help me guide me though. And1:25:14if you don't, I don't like you. That's1:25:15not what we're trying to set the pastors1:25:17up for. I love my pastors. They moved1:25:20from Korea, third world countries like1:25:23you know Haiti, places like that. They1:25:26literally come to America and preach the1:25:29gospel and got to deal with hella1:25:31entitled people who are YouTube1:25:33University Chad GPT who think that1:25:36they're all that. Like come on now.1:25:38Would you guys any of you guys for real1:25:41drop everything that you're doing right1:25:42now for real and move to Russia or go1:25:45somewhere you don't even know the1:25:46language? And then not only that, but1:25:48start a church and preach. Yeah, right,1:25:50dude. Stop it. Stop playing. Don't even1:25:52lie. Understand what I'm saying, right?1:25:55Don't even lie. Right? You better put1:25:58some respect on their name, right? You1:26:00think you can you can handle somebody1:26:01sitting there asking you the same1:26:03question 50,000 times and go and then1:26:05challenge you and go, I am listening.1:26:07No, you're a little to you're I am1:26:09listening to you. You're not. I I I1:26:10watch everything and I listen to you and1:26:12I talk. Stop lying. Right. You'd be1:26:16dropping the fbomb and everything.1:26:18Right. Stop lying. It's too much for our1:26:20mods sometimes. I can see it. Right.1:26:22Right. So, but it's so funny. Right.1:26:25It's so funny. We don't see ourselves.1:26:28And we call ourselves the sons and1:26:29daughters of God is kind of crazy to me.1:26:31[laughter]1:26:32I'm the child of God until you don't1:26:35answer my question or you tell me and1:26:37ask me for obedience. until you don't1:26:40choose me and exalt me in the church.1:26:44Like true truly a child of God. Huh? I1:26:48think the child of the god of this earth1:26:50which is Satan. That sounds more like1:26:52that. Right. Amen. Genuinely can't even1:26:56sit there and take chastisement. Hell of1:26:59fake energy. I Amen. Pastor deep down I1:27:01freaking hate this guy. Why the hell is1:27:02he doing that? Right. Can y'all deal1:27:04with that? Pastor Park taught us as1:27:06pastors really really something deep.1:27:08You can't just listen to to what their1:27:10mouth is saying. You got to learn how to1:27:11listen to what their heart is saying.1:27:13Understand what I'm saying? Right.1:27:14[clears throat] Make sense, right? Got1:27:16it. Right. Guys, our live events are1:27:18getting super packed. We genuinely need1:27:20some help. So, we're looking for a live1:27:23events producer. So, I'm going to be1:27:25completely honest about this. There's a1:27:26lot of moving pieces from booking a1:27:28church, finding the vendors, scanning in1:27:30the people, the volunteers, the merch.1:27:32Like, there's so many moving pieces that1:27:34I'm just going to say right now, we're1:27:35looking for a professional. We're1:27:37looking for someone who has done this1:27:38before. If you're watching and you're1:27:39like, "Oh, I think I can help their live1:27:40events." Honestly, you're probably not1:27:42the pick. But if you're watching and1:27:43you're saying, "Oh, I've done this1:27:44before. I've thrown live events. I've1:27:46even maybe worked in a church space."1:27:47Please reach out. We're looking for a1:27:49killer, someone who can really1:27:50coordinate everything. It's a ton of1:27:52moving pieces. At the end of the day,1:27:53it's nothing too hard or complicated,1:27:55but it's a lot of details, a lot of1:27:57moving pieces. And for us to be doing1:27:58this every single month, once a month or1:28:00even more, it's almost impossible1:28:01because we each run different branches1:28:03of the business. So for us to do this1:28:05ourselves, it's becoming unscalable. So1:28:06if you think, you know, you know, I can1:28:08come in, take this over, I'll learn from1:28:10them, we'll teach you everything, and1:28:12you think I can take the information and1:28:14go throw them live events every single1:28:16month in a different city for the rest1:28:17of the next 10 years. If you're hearing1:28:19this and you think that's you, please1:28:21reach out. We pay super competitively.1:28:22We have honestly a really good pay for1:28:24you guys because we really want to do1:28:25this. Live events are super important to1:28:27Johnny and all of us and all of you1:28:29guys. So we want to keep doing them. We1:28:30want to keep making them super amazing.1:28:32And that's why honestly we're looking1:28:33for a killer. Like it we're not really1:28:35going to hire anyone to test them out or1:28:37try to train. We're looking for someone1:28:38who has done this before and is ready to1:28:40do it for us and we're going to pay you1:28:42very handsomely for it. So please reach1:28:44out. The best way to do it, there's a1:28:45link in the description. There's a job1:28:47application that details everything and1:28:49the pay. So please fill it out. Please1:28:50pay attention to the instructions.1:28:52There's a lot of instructions that if1:28:53you don't pay attention to them, we're1:28:55not even going to look at your1:28:56application. So cutting to the chase,1:28:58we're looking for a live event killer.1:29:00If you are that person or if you know1:29:01that person, if someone at your church1:29:03maybe throws the events, if you want to1:29:04recommend it to a friend or a family1:29:06member, we want an awesome beast live1:29:08events producer. The last thing I'll add1:29:11is you're going to be handling1:29:12everything from thousand to 5,000 person1:29:14live events. We do prison ministry,1:29:17overseas trips. We want to do we have1:29:19big plans to take core of the heart1:29:20global and you would be the lynch pin1:29:23that controls all of that. So, with that1:29:25being said, again, like Aaron said, I'm1:29:28only harping it again. There's a lot of1:29:30people that are applying because you1:29:31have a heart for the miss mission which1:29:33is great but only because of past1:29:35experiences. We have a very particular1:29:38vision of what this person needs to be.1:29:40We're also being advised by people that1:29:41have done this at extremely high level1:29:43who are helping us vet the applications.1:29:46So it's going to be a very like select1:29:49group of people that are looking at your1:29:51application. So please do not be1:29:53offended if we don't pick you. Just1:29:54understand we have a lot of input and we1:29:57are very specific on what we need. So1:29:59we're very appreciative if you try, but1:30:01please again understand that we've we've1:30:04gone through a lot of ups and downs to1:30:05understand what we need or want.1:30:07>> So if you want to apply, the link is in1:30:09the description. Also for anyone else1:30:10still listening, if you want to come to1:30:11these awesome live events, text in1:30:13afters to 323-61335771:30:18for free live events in a city near you1:30:20>> or download Core of the Heart daily. I1:30:22genuinely want to thank you guys for1:30:24tuning in and just supporting core of1:30:26the heart. Without you guys, we1:30:28obviously we wouldn't be able to go1:30:30global and so we are looking for that1:30:33that perfect piece right to uh take us1:30:36global and help us with the live event.1:30:38So if that's you, we really do1:30:40appreciate you guys for for applying and1:30:42um hope to work with you guys soon. See,1:30:44even that comment right there, Alicia1:30:46saying, "Some of us do appreciate you1:30:48and want you and what you do though,1:30:51right? Not biblically. Sorry,1:30:55respectfully."1:30:57Right? For example, if someone comes up1:30:59to me and they go, "Johnny, you're dirt.1:31:01Shouldn't it be this?" Yeah. Amen. I1:31:04know I'm dirt, but you know, just so you1:31:05know, pastor, you're dirt, too.1:31:08[laughter]1:31:10What does that entail in my heart? If1:31:12you guys know how to read a little bit,1:31:13let's say, right? I mean, I do I do1:31:15acknowledge you. Aka, I don't agree with1:31:17you. I acknowledge you so much that even1:31:19if you say something, I don't agree with1:31:21it, though. Interesting. What a double.1:31:24It's like it's kind of weird, right?1:31:25[laughter]1:31:26I respect you, but you're wrong. It's1:31:29like, what? Then you don't really1:31:30respect what I'm saying.1:31:33Right. Yeah, pastor. Yeah, I know I'm1:31:35dirt, but you know, also like we're all1:31:36dirt. [laughter]1:31:38What is that saying? Don't call me dirt.1:31:40respectfully cuz you're dirt too. Make1:31:42sense? I'm a good person. Okay,1:31:46you guys. There's a difference between1:31:48thinking that you acknowledge somebody1:31:50and there's there's a difference between1:31:52scripturally acknowledging somebody.1:31:53What's the difference? If you can't tell1:31:55me, then you can't tell me that you1:31:57scripturally acknowledge people is all1:31:59I'm saying. You understand, right? You1:32:00guys understand that I'm going to sit1:32:02here and I'm going to only tie it to the1:32:03scripture. I may not say Romans 5 this.1:32:06I may not say first Galatians, first you1:32:08know Thessalonians this, Galatians this1:32:10I may not say that but I guarantee you1:32:11I'm speaking in verses 100%. Amen. Do1:32:15you know what acknowledging somebody1:32:16truly is? How do you respect somebody?1:32:19Do you know what the Bible explains? The1:32:21step one is to realize you don't1:32:23acknowledge anybody. That's how you1:32:26respect people. When you recognize, oh,1:32:28I don't respect anybody. That is how you1:32:31actually learn to biblically respect1:32:34somebody because right there you've1:32:35taken down your filter and in Proverbs1:32:37it says what's right to a man leads to1:32:40death ultimately. Right? Understand? So1:32:43you can even try to acknowledge God1:32:44through that person. But look, if you1:32:46have your filter, then what you're going1:32:48to do is you're going to do this. I have1:32:50God and I think that I can acknowledge1:32:52them as long as they fit the stereotype1:32:53or the lens of my God of what I have1:32:56inside of my thoughts. So you're still1:32:59filtering them, right? Even that, that's1:33:01why I said you have to realize, oh, I1:33:02don't, my filter's broken. I'm broken. I1:33:04can never acknowledge anybody. So if1:33:07acknowledgement does come, that's from1:33:09God alone and God alone. That's how you1:33:11acknowledge people, right? How do you1:33:13realize that you can overcome lust? By1:33:15literally sitting there and going, I can1:33:18never overcome lust. So you acknowledge1:33:20you can't do it. Then who has to fully1:33:22do it? And when he does fully do it, you1:33:25don't take the credit and you don't take1:33:26the glory. God. This is what it comes1:33:28down to. You have to think about that.1:33:30But people don't do that. They can't1:33:32even say, "I will overcome through1:33:34Christ who strengthen, you know, and1:33:36gives me all this power." Right?1:33:37Philippians 4:13. But in their heart,1:33:40what what is it? They're still using1:33:41their own power, right? I don't want you1:33:44guys to be a generation of I know this1:33:47about the Bible. I can quote these1:33:49little buzzwords. I can do all of these1:33:51things and not actually overcome those1:33:54things, right? Cuz then that's just weak1:33:56at the end of the It's like why even1:33:58what are we doing here? Make sense? Like1:34:00what are we we're just fanboying here?1:34:02We're just not growing. I've seen a lot1:34:05of people like that in church come and1:34:06go. There was a sister who was in church1:34:08for 10 years who was doing this. 101:34:10freaking years, man. And all she was1:34:12doing was spreading darkness, you know,1:34:15always critiquing the church, critiquing1:34:17the food, critiquing how it's too1:34:19Korean, critiquing this, that, and the1:34:21third. always, you know, would have call1:34:25the sisters have hours and hours of just1:34:28bashing Pastor John. You know, Pastor1:34:30John's so dumb. Yeah, he thinks he's all1:34:32that cuz he has a scorpion testimony.1:34:35What an idiot. Blah blah blah. Like, you1:34:37know, just hella just disrespectful,1:34:40right? In the end, who's still in the1:34:41church though? Pastor John. Who has his1:34:43own church that they're looking for1:34:44another building? Pastor John. That's1:34:46grown so much, by the way, because it's1:34:48so many people. Pastor John who's1:34:50learning and guiding and you know1:34:52chilling with with me and and and you1:34:54know having fellowship and more peaceful1:34:56than anything. Pastor John, right? When1:34:59I when I think about this people always1:35:01talk trash about other people. Are they1:35:04really living a better life than other1:35:06people though? It's just it's kind of1:35:08like not cuz if you're really full and1:35:10you're happy, you can't complain about1:35:13other people, right? You know, you just1:35:15you just can't. So guys, what is the le1:35:18the lesson here? If you're complaining1:35:20about other people, number one, you're1:35:22probably not happy. That's fair. Do you1:35:25understand? You're probably not happy.1:35:27Number one. Number two, if you're1:35:29focusing on other people's lives and1:35:31their spiritual lives, you're also1:35:32probably not happy. If you're comparing,1:35:35comparison is a thief of joy. You're1:35:36also not happy. So, you have to make1:35:38that decision. But you have to realize1:35:40first what what is causing you to be1:35:42unhappy. Is it truly other people?1:35:45Right? When people talk trash about me1:35:46online or whatever, I think about it.1:35:49Dang, a video of mine triggered you that1:35:51much to do two things. Make a video1:35:54about me and then bash me. I'm living1:35:56rentree in your head. Do you know how1:35:58long it takes to edit a video, guys? We1:36:00we use so much resources just to edit1:36:03videos. It's not that easy. You got to1:36:05make it pop. You got to clip things up.1:36:07So, you got to watch what I'm saying.1:36:09You have to deliberately take me out of1:36:12context. How do you even sit there and1:36:14go, "Yep, I'm from God." How do you sit1:36:17there and go, "I'm going to take someone1:36:18out of context, bash their character,1:36:21right? Because I hate them so much.1:36:22Someone I don't even know, by the way."1:36:24Right? And do you know why? It's cuz1:36:26they only think about themselves. Oh,1:36:28this is going to get a lot of views.1:36:29That's what they're focused on. Are they1:36:31focusing on God and Jesus? No. Right. I1:36:34[clears throat] was seeing people on the1:36:36Reddits, too. Dang, they got so much1:36:38time. But I want to really look at their1:36:41life. Are they happy? If someone was to1:36:44meticulously dissect their lives like1:36:45they dissect other people's like I want1:36:47to see how happy they are cuz a person1:36:49who does that you have to be kind of1:36:51crazy low-key genuinely you have to1:36:55right you have to sit there and take1:36:57those that time off and be obsessive and1:36:59compulsive in a lot of ways that this1:37:01person that you don't know is pissed you1:37:04off that much right or you think you1:37:06know or whatever it is right it's so sad1:37:09right make sense right look at this how1:37:11can we be happy like I don't know, maybe1:37:14not be like that. I mean, right? It's a1:37:16it's sometimes it's not a super1:37:18philosophical answer. Well, in order to1:37:21be happy, the thing about it is you have1:37:22to change the dichotomy in the male you1:37:24when that like it's just not that it1:37:26doesn't have to be like that. How about1:37:28not be like that? How about believe what1:37:30God says about you that you're happy,1:37:33you're a new creature, and if somebody1:37:35doesn't, you know, align with you, then1:37:37hey, they weren't for you. If somebody1:37:39doesn't align with you spiritually, hey,1:37:41pray for them. Maybe God will change1:37:43them. Spending 4 hours clipping up a1:37:46clip and sewing negative seeds is not1:37:48going to do anything. It's just going to1:37:50make my youngsters angry.1:37:52I was talking to my youngest the other1:37:54day and I can't control them, man. I1:37:56can't control a person. They straight up1:37:58told me, "Hey, if we catch these fools,1:38:00we're going to send them to God." And1:38:02for some reason, I feel like they're1:38:03dead serious about that cuz I'm laughing1:38:06and they're not. That's what people1:38:08don't understand, man. That's why like I1:38:10hate the lifestyle that I'm in, too. To1:38:12be honest, I hate the fact that I was in1:38:14a gang because when you disrespect1:38:17someone, you don't realize you're1:38:19disrespecting everyone around them, too.1:38:22Do Do you guys understand what I'm1:38:23saying? Like, they I don't think people1:38:25understand that. Just cuz they don't1:38:27have friends and they don't have that1:38:28type of like bond with people, they1:38:30think everyone's like that. That's why1:38:32I'm like, damn, you guys are going to1:38:33die, dude. Straight up. And you don't1:38:35even know it. It's not even funny. It's1:38:37like they don't even understand that1:38:39because when these people like you see1:38:41them when I look at my my my little1:38:43homies, they're insane. They pop off off1:38:46the smallest stuff. Like a kid that came1:38:49was was just a a friend, you know, of of1:38:53uh of one of the the I guess he would be1:38:56a youngster, but he was like a kid that1:38:58was, you know, he's like the the the1:39:00older head son basically. Best way I can1:39:03say, right? So his friend came, they're1:39:06like high school kid, 18 years old,1:39:07maybe 19, you know, 18 years old, I1:39:09think. And when he came, he he just said1:39:13something that was very like it's it's1:39:16very normal, but it's but anyone who1:39:19lives the life, it's very disrespectful,1:39:21right? Understand? He walked by us and1:39:25he was just like, "Hey, could I be cool1:39:28like you guys and join your gang? Could1:39:30you guys jump me in?" That's all he1:39:31said. Which again, a normal person would1:39:33be like, "Oh," basically take that as1:39:35like, "Oh, he's being like cool." Like,1:39:37he wants to be cool. But that is very1:39:40disrespectful to gang members. They He1:39:42didn't understand that. He's a kid. So1:39:43the the other homie was like, "What' you1:39:45say?" And right there, I was like, "Hey,1:39:47it's cool. You know, this is the1:39:49homiey's party. Like, don't disrespect1:39:50it." Oh, all right. He understood right1:39:52away. I was like, "Hey." And I kind of1:39:54would like pull and he the kid just1:39:56didn't He was flabbergasted. He's like,1:39:57"What the hell did I say? I didn't say1:39:59anything wrong." I was like, "That's1:40:00what you think. You don't know though.1:40:02Understand? You don't know that, right?1:40:04It's the same energy, right? It's like1:40:06you don't even know us like that. You're1:40:08you're over here trying to be like a1:40:10Yeah. Like a smartass, you know? Like,1:40:13bro, no one likes that. So, afterwards,1:40:16I see But I when I look at the homie's1:40:18eyes, it shifted to like murder murder1:40:21mode straight up. So, we just pulled to1:40:23I pulled him to the side. Hey, let's go1:40:24over here real quick. We had to shift1:40:26the location a little bit. And he1:40:27straight up was like, "Man, that fool's1:40:29being disrespectful." What? Immediately1:40:31like that. So what do you guys think is1:40:33going to happen when people like that1:40:34who love me who I've bailed out of1:40:36prison helped I've helped obviously1:40:38cared about them when they see someone1:40:40go Johnny Chang's a heretic he thinks1:40:42he's so good Johnny Chang yeah king1:40:45heresy whatever they say man you think1:40:48they're going to spare that bro please1:40:50bro these kids are going to cry their1:40:51eyes out you know literally you can see1:40:55it so I had to tell them hey it's cool1:40:57he's just a little kid yeah but when I1:40:59was a little kid I didn't Yeah but you1:41:00didn't grow up in that lifestyle1:41:02But and then they start picking them1:41:03out. This is how you know that the enemy1:41:05works. I can see the devil right there,1:41:07right? Oh yeah, that foo thinks he's1:41:09hard. Look at foo. The way he's walking,1:41:11he's not he's just walking normal.1:41:13But right there, they're giving1:41:14themselves a reason to hurt the person1:41:17and justify it, right? Bro, that fool's1:41:19just sitting there thinks he's he thinks1:41:21he's hard or what? Like, and you could1:41:23see they're literally 100% listening to1:41:25Satan, you know? And I'm just like, you1:41:28can't do nothing. It's literally the1:41:29homies party. like you will literally1:41:31disrespect the party, you know, and then1:41:33you're going to have to answer for that.1:41:34And they're like, "All right, there's1:41:36rules and regulations here." But I have1:41:38to sit there and go, "This is so1:41:39stupid." But it isn't because people1:41:41actually live like that. They genuinely1:41:44still live like that. The way you talk,1:41:46the way you carry yourself. You know,1:41:47this was, by the way, the same guy who1:41:49was like, "This is why I don't want to1:41:50become Christian is because I thought1:41:53everybody was unity and these fools are1:41:55over here talking trash about you,1:41:57right?" Like, this was the same dude. So1:42:00I'm like, "Yo, it's cool." The other guy1:42:02also who was shot six times and was1:42:04handicapped, who was literally, you1:42:07know, paralyzed was was even him like,1:42:10"Yeah, let's go. Let's ride on him."1:42:11Like, "Dude, what the hell, bro? You're1:42:13already you're handicapped, bro." Like,1:42:15but that's how the the mentality is.1:42:17It's like a pack mentality. If you go,1:42:19we all have to go. And if the person1:42:21doesn't go, in fact, that's there's1:42:23consequences for that. So, it's this1:42:25mindset, but people don't realize that,1:42:28you know, right? One of them even said,1:42:30and and this is kind of like bad, too.1:42:32That's why I had to stop inviting them,1:42:34right? He he leaked it, and I kind of1:42:36sensed it, but there was an event at1:42:38Whittier, and not a lot of them came.1:42:41There was like maybe like four or five1:42:42of them, right? But normally, if they do1:42:45come, they'll try to mob to the to the1:42:47thing. Like, they were going to come to1:42:49this Hollywood event. We're going to1:42:50shut down Hollywood in July. and there1:42:52was going to be like 50 of them there,1:42:54right? Because it's just an open place.1:42:56So, they like to do that, but I know1:42:59what they're doing is they're trying to1:43:00like look for problems. So, I remember1:43:02telling like one of them, "Hey, you guys1:43:04can't do anything." He leaked his heart.1:43:07And this is why I told him, "You guys1:43:08can't come anymore." I straight up told1:43:10him that, right? And they still they're1:43:12still going to become some that come,1:43:13but out of respect, like they won't,1:43:15right? But I told him, I was like, "Hey,1:43:18you know, you guys can't do this. Woo."1:43:19And then the guy literally leaked it.1:43:21He's like, "Bro, I can't wait to see one1:43:23of these fools like pull up and try to1:43:25challenge you." That and when I heard1:43:27that, I knew exactly what timing they1:43:29were on. I knew cuz they'll wait.1:43:31They'll wait until we end the thing and1:43:33they'll follow these fools out and and1:43:34literally get them. That's how that's1:43:36how they do it, right? They'll wait1:43:38like, "Hey, what's up, homie? You was1:43:39asking the big boom bam start." Just1:43:41literally I've seen it happen so many1:43:43times, right? And so I'm like, "Dude,1:43:46you guys can't come cuz that's going to1:43:48be make me look bad, right?" And they1:43:50were like, "No, no, we're not going to1:43:52do that." But I know they are because1:43:53again, Satan works. Do you guys1:43:56understand what I'm saying? Satan works,1:43:58right? He like, we say that, but then1:44:00when you get in front of somebody, it's1:44:02similar to like when you guys are, you1:44:04know, like ladies, you argue with your1:44:06man and then later like you you spend a1:44:08little bit of time away from them and1:44:10you're like, "I love them. I probably1:44:11shouldn't have popped off on them." And1:44:13you actually genuinely have the heart to1:44:15be like, "All right, I'm going to1:44:16reconcile." But something about seeing1:44:19them again re-triggers the emotion. You1:44:22made a decision. I'm not going to pop1:44:23off on them. And then here you go again1:44:25popping off on them, right? It's the1:44:27same thing because the heart is1:44:29deceitful, right? You you know that1:44:31experience, right? So I know even though1:44:32they mean it. No, we won't, bro. We1:44:34respect you. But I've seen it happen.1:44:36This has happened multiple times even1:44:38after I got saved where they'll come out1:44:40with me and it ends up like they just1:44:43breaking bottles over people's and I'm1:44:44like, "Dude, I told you guys. what the1:44:45hell are you doing? All right, Johnny,1:44:47just leave. Just leave. Like, we'll1:44:48handle it for you. Or they'll even wait1:44:49for me to leave and I'm just like, dude,1:44:51what are you guys doing? You know, so1:44:54I'm like, you can't come anymore, right?1:44:56But [clears throat] at the end of the1:44:57day, it's what I'm I say all of this to1:45:00say, people don't understand like they1:45:03don't know how to think for other1:45:04people. Let's say these people thought1:45:06about these things, then they would1:45:07never do that. They would and and the1:45:09right way to do it would be to pray for1:45:11somebody to focus on Jesus and God and1:45:13keep it aligned with God. Would you guys1:45:15agree? But instead, they say like clout1:45:17is a hell of a drug. It it is when you1:45:20when you're focusing on something and1:45:21you're cuz I was doing this for 101:45:23years. How come they didn't attack me1:45:25then? It was only when I started having1:45:27a platform that they did. So you you1:45:28guys can tell right away why people do1:45:30this. Right? In the same stroke, that's1:45:33how people are too. They will look at1:45:35you and like I've had people straight up1:45:37have this energy of I want you to do1:45:39well and they'll mean it. But as soon as1:45:41they see the energy shifts because envy1:45:43starts to come into play, right? I never1:45:46used to hear that. I never used to hear1:45:47you switched up. I never used to hear1:45:49damn fool you you Hollywood now homie.1:45:51Like you too busy for us. I never used1:45:53to hear that. And I used to not ever1:45:55really come around because I would be1:45:56traveling. I would go to Thailand. I1:45:58would preach the gospel there. I went to1:46:00Australia to to their prisons. Like they1:46:02wouldn't trip. They would be like, "Hey,1:46:03you coming back? All right, cool. We'll1:46:04kick it when we come back." Now it's1:46:06it's the same thing. It's just you got1:46:09millions of followers now and now it's1:46:11this energy of like hey don't forget1:46:12about us you know like don't little bro1:46:14us like I'm not though I've always kept1:46:16it respectful right so what I hear is1:46:20you can do good and I I think you guys1:46:22can relate to this most people around1:46:24you are going to be like this you can do1:46:25good just don't do better than me that's1:46:27actually what they mean when they say I1:46:29want the best for you what they want is1:46:31you can do great just don't do better1:46:32than me and when you realize that then1:46:35you start to really appreciate the Bible1:46:37Bible because the Bible says in Psalm,1:46:39the Bible says in 1 Samuel, it talks1:46:41about uh King David. King David1:46:44literally says, "It's not a stranger1:46:45that but my someone from my own1:46:48household has lifted his heel against1:46:49me." You start to realize, "Dang, the1:46:51Bible really was right the whole time."1:46:55And you don't deal with it. You accept1:46:57the Bible and you go, "Hm." And then it1:46:59doesn't hurt you anymore. So, if you1:47:01guys want to go deeper with the Bible1:47:03unlocks and just having these biblical1:47:04resources, guys, we created an app1:47:06called Core of the Heart Daily. The Bible says a lot of people1:47:42are pickmies, right? I'm using, you1:47:44know, modern terminology, but it's true.1:47:46The Bible says people only care about1:47:48themselves. The Bible says people, as1:47:50much as you love someone, you will hate1:47:51them. And as much as you hate them, you1:47:52should love them, too. That love will1:47:54turn into hate. The Bible says if you1:47:56don't exalt somebody, they will do the1:47:58most heinous things to you while while1:48:00claiming that they love you. The Bible1:48:01says that people will kill you. Your own1:48:03people will actually do you. That1:48:05mothers will kill their children and1:48:06kill and children can kill their1:48:08mothers, right? But people are like,1:48:10"No, I would never do that. That's why1:48:11we're broken." That would mean the Bible1:48:13is a liar. Do you understand what I'm1:48:15saying? But that's the problem. That was1:48:17the issue with Peter. Peter felt in in1:48:20the core of his heart that he would1:48:22never betray Jesus. I believe him.1:48:25understand what I'm saying, right? Amen.1:48:27And that's the first step, Diana. Amen.1:48:29She said, to be honest, I'm the one with1:48:31that heart posture. I don't want someone1:48:32to be better deep down. Good. That's the1:48:35number that's that's when you know you1:48:36can change because you acknowledge that.1:48:39Oh, I'm a person that I can't. No one's1:48:41going to get mad at you for that. That's1:48:42actually great. Then you can go in front1:48:44of God. Hey, Lord, look at my heart, but1:48:46didn't you give me Ezekiel 36:26, a new1:48:49heart? Father God, that's not even my1:48:50heart. The enemy tries to plant that. I1:48:53just accepted that. That's the unlock.1:48:56Lord, please allow me to realign with1:48:57your word. Because you gave me a new1:48:59heart. You gave me a new spirit. You1:49:01made me a new creature. But why is it1:49:03that I still feel this? Because I don't1:49:05believe in your word, which is what I'm1:49:07addressing here. So Peter believed his1:49:10heart. His heart of I will die for1:49:12Jesus. Look, I walked on water. I gave1:49:14up my whole career. I gave up my family1:49:16to God. I took penitentiary chances. I1:49:19was aiming at the dude's head, but God1:49:20made it that I chopped off his ear,1:49:22right? Like I was willing to die for1:49:25Jesus and then Jesus is telling me, "No,1:49:26you're not. You're going to run from1:49:28me." That doesn't even make sense.1:49:29That's like if you guys told me, "Hey1:49:31Johnny, you're going to snitch." I would1:49:32be like, "Hell no, I'd rather die."1:49:34Right? Cuz if I didn't snitch doing 131:49:36years, why what what makes you think I'm1:49:38going to do it now? Right? So I wouldn't1:49:40believe that. But if I if I believe the1:49:42word, then I would have to say, "Yeah, I1:49:44can see where I can do that." Make1:49:45sense? So in this way, Peter could not1:49:48accept what Jesus was saying. That's why1:49:51he went and intensified it for Peter.1:49:53Not only will you deny me, you're going1:49:54to deny me three times. And then you're1:49:56going to cuss at me too on top of that.1:49:58And he's like, I'll never, he says, I'll1:50:00never do that. They may do that. I'll1:50:02die for you. Sure. And what's funny is1:50:04this little like teenage girl was1:50:07basically like saying you know towards1:50:09the end isn't he one of the disciples1:50:11they call him Peter Simon Peter and a1:50:13little teenage girl powerless basically1:50:16caused him to deny and curse at his1:50:19savior. This is why this is how much we1:50:22don't know our heart posture. Do you1:50:23guys understand what I'm saying? That's1:50:25how much we're like but I do believe and1:50:27I do love you and I do care. Cuz we1:50:29don't actually know our hearts. That's1:50:31why we say it like that. So Peter was1:50:33the same way and that's why he he wept1:50:35bitterly cuz he realized, dang, I did1:50:39exactly what God said I was going to do.1:50:41So what I learned from Peter is Johnny,1:50:43you ain't good. You don't deserve1:50:45anything. No woman will ever love you.1:50:47No man will ever love you. No one will1:50:49ever love you. And you will never love1:50:50anybody else. Only God will love you1:50:52because the Bible says so. You don't1:50:54have love. And you can only love because1:50:56he loved you first. You will never1:50:58choose anybody. You'll be selfish till1:51:00you die. That's the real the difference1:51:02here is that I've acknowledged that and1:51:04a lot of people here haven't. That's the1:51:06difference. Do you understand what I'm1:51:08saying? Until you realize and come to1:51:10that position there will the unlocks1:51:11will do nothing for you respectfully.1:51:13Understand what I'm saying? The unlocks1:51:15will do nothing for you because1:51:16foundationally it's still you at the1:51:18center of it. The salvation I would even1:51:20argue will do nothing for you because1:51:22you're even just acknowledging salvation1:51:24so that you could be saved and go to1:51:26heaven. It's not because you actually1:51:28need the salvation. Do you understand1:51:30the difference here? So, you could say,1:51:31"I'm righteous, I'm holy all you want,1:51:34but if the heart isn't," I'm righteous1:51:35and I'm holy and I don't deserve this,1:51:37that's different than, "I'm righteous1:51:38and I'm holy and that's good for me cuz1:51:40I'm going to heaven." That's different.1:51:42You understand what I'm saying? The1:51:44heart is very important, brothers and1:51:45sisters. It matters. Otherwise, God1:51:47wouldn't search it, right? He said it.1:51:49He said it straight up. Jeremiah 7 uh1:51:5217:10, "I the Lord searchth the heart to1:51:54try the reigns, to test the reigns. I1:51:56want to see where your heart is at and1:51:58he will test. Trust me, he will. Even1:52:00with this message, right? And I'm not1:52:02saying this for you guys to feel like1:52:05I'm not saved. That's not what I'm1:52:07saying. But you better be clear about1:52:08your salvation in one thing. Do you know1:52:11that you're a dirty, wicked, evil1:52:13sinner? And that it's not okay to live1:52:15like that. You're wicked and evil and1:52:17you don't even sense the that God doing1:52:19those things for you, loving on you,1:52:21dying for you. You don't even care.1:52:23Understand? But he still died for you.1:52:25So, you have to realize, oh my gosh, I'm1:52:28that wicked. Not because I'm truly1:52:29wicked, because I don't care or even1:52:31sense that I'm wicked. That's what1:52:33actually makes me wicked. I'm evil as1:52:36hell. We're all like spiritual1:52:38psychopaths. We don't understand1:52:41anything, right? Understand what I'm1:52:43saying? And yet Jesus died for us. He1:52:46died for us, brothers and sisters, for1:52:48those spiritual, psychopathic,1:52:50narcissistic, right? Selfish, stubborn1:52:53people. Why would we continue to live1:52:55like that? That's why I think it's so1:52:57funny when people go Johnny Chang says1:52:59he's a heretic because he doesn't teach1:53:00repentance. He doesn't teach He teaches1:53:02sin sinless perfection which means sin1:53:04however you want. It doesn't matter. I1:53:06never say that. What I'm actually saying1:53:07is what I'm saying now. And what I teach1:53:09is what I teach now. You're nothing. You1:53:11can't do anything. Right? And not only1:53:13that, you don't even think about that1:53:15about yourself. So you don't even sense1:53:16that. And yet Jesus still loves us.1:53:19Jesus still chooses us out of all the1:53:21people. Like what the hell? He died for1:53:23us, resurrected for us, made us1:53:25righteous. Understand? That in itself1:53:28should not only make you emotional, but1:53:30make you go, it's a reality check. Whoa.1:53:33I I don't even deserve Jesus to die for1:53:35me. I deserve to burn. And yet, I1:53:38didn't. So, can I go and abuse and do1:53:40whatever I want? No. But people in here1:53:43just like I see it all the time. I see1:53:45it on a on um mentorship. I see it on1:53:48live, you know? They don't even care1:53:51about that. They just want to get to1:53:53heaven. Great, you can get to heaven.1:53:55But essentially, we have to realize1:53:57that, you know, uh, and you don't have1:54:00to feel anything, right, guys? This1:54:02isn't like, oh, I feel so condemned now1:54:04and convicted. Like, no, it's not a1:54:06feeling. It's just very simple, right?1:54:08There's a couple verses. All you got to1:54:09do is just believe. Isaiah 53:6. Let's1:54:13read that carefully together. It says,1:54:14"All we like sheep have gone astray. We1:54:18have turned everyone to his own way."1:54:21Right. So right there, let's stop. We're1:54:23all sheep. Obviously, we know that my1:54:25sheep hear my voice. So he calls us1:54:27sheep. We need to be led. But it says1:54:29have gone astray. It doesn't say is1:54:31going to have, right? And it says we1:54:34have turned everyone to his own way. So1:54:37we turned past tense turned away1:54:39already. To whose way? Our own way.1:54:42Right? Understand? And the Lord has laid1:54:45on him the iniquity of us all. The Lord1:54:48God has laid on Jesus all of our sins,1:54:52all of our bad wrongdoings. So, have you1:54:54guys turned away? Are you guys lost?1:54:57Absolutely. Make sense? Absolutely.1:55:00Right. If you just acknowledge that,1:55:01then will you get buttth hurt when1:55:03someone goes, "Hey, respectfully, you're1:55:04lost." No. You would go, "That's1:55:06biblical." But what do we do? We filter.1:55:09I'm not lost. What are you talking1:55:10about? You're just trying to say that1:55:12because you're stepping on me. You're1:55:13saying you're not lost. We start getting1:55:14mad. Do you understand what I'm saying?1:55:16No. No. Don't get mad. Get spiritual.1:55:19Get scriptural. You can then digest it.1:55:22Hey, you're selfish. You don't care.1:55:23You're this. You're that. I mean, true.1:55:25But what does that have to do with my1:55:27walk right now with Jesus and God? You1:55:29see how when you put it back to Jesus1:55:31and God, you can't really get mad if you1:55:34think about it. So, people come in here,1:55:37right? They challenge all the time. But1:55:39the reason why I'm not frustrated with1:55:42them or you know they're not able to1:55:44kind of win is because they're dealing1:55:46with emotion which changes and is insta1:55:49unstable and then we're dealing with1:55:51scripture. Do you guys understand what1:55:53I'm saying? If you stick to Jesus and1:55:55the scripture, guess what? You can never1:55:57be wrong. You can never be wrong because1:56:00Jesus and God is never wrong.1:56:03Make [snorts] sense? He's never wrong.1:56:05So you have to be able to learn about1:56:07the scripture. I'm not saying, but some1:56:08of you guys will hear this cricket. Oh,1:56:10I this is how I win my husband. This is1:56:11how I win my wife. Like, stick to the1:56:13scripture. Like, that's not what I'm1:56:14saying, right? What I'm saying is if you1:56:18just acknowledge, you can digest what1:56:20people say to you and it won't it'll1:56:22fall right off of you, right? So, when1:56:24someone comes up to me and they're1:56:25saying like all of these things about1:56:27me, you know what I'm I'm I'm happy1:56:29about. Damn, I'm glad they don't know1:56:31everything about me. If they knew1:56:32everything about me, they're calling me1:56:34a heretic. They should call me a1:56:35murderer, right? They're not calling me1:56:37a drug addict. They're not calling me1:56:39those things. Understand? Make sense?1:56:41Right? So, we are people who with Jesus1:56:45Christ and only reason is Jesus Christ.1:56:49That's the only reason why we're we're1:56:51changed. So, that's why I get happy.1:56:53Wow. This person if I can acknowledge1:56:56who I am, understand what I'm saying,1:56:59right? And do you guys understand that1:57:01the fact the reason why controversy is a1:57:04good thing? Can I explain to you guys1:57:05why people are so controversial around1:57:07me? And they go, "Johnn, he's so1:57:09controversial." If I wasn't1:57:10controversial, then I would be just1:57:12everybody's friend and I wouldn't be1:57:14speaking the truth. Controversial people1:57:16are usually truth speaking and truth1:57:19people don't like that. So, if I speak1:57:21about the gospel, that's why it's1:57:23controversial because now I'm telling1:57:26everybody, you don't matter. You were a1:57:28dirty, evil sinner. And don't ever1:57:30forget that, but Jesus made you1:57:32righteous. Right? It's very simple. Make1:57:34sense? You're not a sinner because you1:57:36did well. You're a sinner because Jesus,1:57:39you're you're no longer a sinner because1:57:41of Jesus, right? So, we have gone1:57:43astray. We have each turned to our own1:57:45way. Right? Do you have to try to try to1:57:48believe that? No. It's true. But what1:57:51does Satan then do? When it comes to1:57:53scripture, look at what Satan tries to1:57:55do in your brain. But I don't go astray1:57:56right now, but I'm I'm not I'm I don't1:57:59sin anymore now. Immediately, he starts1:58:01to fight against the scripture. Have you1:58:03noticed that? Well, what's the context1:58:04of this though? What does this mean?1:58:06What do you But I need to know the1:58:07context now. Is it cuz this is now it's1:58:10affecting your heart. Make sense? Right.1:58:13So, even the question of, you know, I1:58:16just seen it pop up here. Let me go back1:58:18up to it. Right. It seems like it's a1:58:20clarifying, right? Right. Like like like1:58:21Tori is asking a clarifying question,1:58:23but it's not. It's a it's a question of1:58:24fear. Watch. I'll explain. Can you1:58:27explain what you mean when you call us1:58:28sinners? Right. Very good verbiage. Very1:58:30good. You know, speaking correctly, I1:58:32thought we weren't supposed to call1:58:33ourselves sinners, though, since that is1:58:35no longer our identity. Recognize we are1:58:37without God, but our identity is new1:58:39through Jesus Christ. Think about this1:58:41though, right? I was clear as day with1:58:43what I said. But that's the thing that1:58:45we heard. What does that mean? It shows1:58:48where our heart is. Amen. Right? Cuz you1:58:51said this, but now you're saying this,1:58:52and then I don't. And then it's like,1:58:54and I just said filter. Right? That's1:58:57why I ignore some of your questions1:58:58because I know you're filtering1:59:00everything. How do I find a church? How1:59:01do I do that? Everything is for you. So,1:59:04if you ignore me, I'm going to have to1:59:06ignore you back. You understand what I'm1:59:07saying, right? Because how do I find a1:59:10church is I just want to be more aligned1:59:12with God. Everything is for you at the1:59:13center. Then why are you going you're1:59:15you're not going to be here for long.1:59:18And I addressed this way early on if you1:59:20were listening to what I was saying,1:59:21right guys? If you're only for you and1:59:24you follow only when you agree, let's1:59:26say, then who's God? You are. Hello.1:59:30Like it's pretty clear, right? If you1:59:32only pray for you, if you only tithe, so1:59:36you feel good. Even if you preach the1:59:37gospel, but it's for you. Whether it's1:59:39you fear going to hell, you fear not1:59:42making disciples of many nations, you1:59:44fear, then it really is at the core just1:59:46for you, isn't it? I said it with the1:59:48sinner situation. Sinners in, you know,1:59:51salvation, right? Oh, I only like1:59:52salvation because it gets me to heaven.1:59:54I don't care if it's like helping other.1:59:56Like, that's nice. I do care about that.1:59:58But I don't I'm not with God and love2:00:00God because I don't deserve heaven. I2:00:02actually think I do. That's why I'm2:00:04scared. You know, people who are fearful2:00:06of of hell, it's because they think they2:00:09deserve heaven. Why would you fear2:00:10something if you knew that that's what2:00:12your life is going to lead you to? You2:00:14would just acknowledge that. And if you2:00:15notice, the people who acknowledge2:00:17you're going to hell are the ones that2:00:19God works in the most. The people who2:00:21doubted God are the ones that God uses2:00:23the most. Like Saul, the people who went2:00:25against God and cheated and did these2:00:27things were the people that God uses the2:00:29most. But that's because they2:00:31acknowledged like the woman caught in2:00:32the act of adultery, the woman with five2:00:34husbands, sixth ones, she didn't even2:00:35acknowledge. Six husbands, right? They2:00:38acknowledged that about themselves. They2:00:39didn't complain. But I did this, but I2:00:41did that. But I did this. See, but but I2:00:43was okay. Okay, I slept with him, but2:00:44like I was good to him for 12 years2:00:46before that. And I like they they don't2:00:47do that. That's not recorded in the2:00:49Bible. They just get dragged to go and2:00:51get stoned. But us, do we have that2:00:54heart? Respectfully, you don't. Right?2:00:56And that's not a problem. We have to2:00:58realign. But that's what I'm talking2:01:00about. How do you realign here? Right?2:01:02Isaiah 53:6. Oh, I'm a person that can2:01:05only go astray. But thank God he died2:01:08for my sins cuz he laid right. Even when2:01:11I give this scripture and I explained2:01:13it, what is the what is the heart behind2:01:15this? But you said sinner though. Sinner2:01:18triggered me. I don't like that. So2:01:20like, but I explained it one more time.2:01:22I'll explain it. Let's see if you can2:01:23hear it correctly this time. All we like2:01:26sheep have gone astray. Everyone have2:01:28gone astray. Gone. Past tense. We have2:01:31turned past tense turned everyone to our2:01:34own way. But this part and the Lord has2:01:36laid on him the iniquity of us all.2:01:39Right? I don't want to give the unlock2:01:40right away because if I do, then what2:01:43are you going to do? Wow. That means I2:01:45don't go to heaven. I'm not going to2:01:47hell. That's all that matters to me. Do2:01:49you understand now why I'm going to sit2:01:51here and not give that to you? Because I2:01:54don't want you to just only stay in that2:01:57position. I want you to go, "Wo, I don't2:02:00even deserve heaven, but God still gave2:02:02it to me." But look at our hearts.2:02:05That's why, guys, you know, it's it's2:02:07really sad. It's a sad thing. But the2:02:09truth is this. We were sinners. We were2:02:12born sinners. We acknowledge that2:02:13obviously. But through Jesus Christ,2:02:15which I said earlier, too, we are made2:02:17righteous and perfected. But don't ever2:02:19forget that. That's why God records2:02:21things like uh and I'll finish with this2:02:25man with the 38-year infirmity, right?2:02:27The man was paralyzed for 38 years.2:02:30Jesus asks one thing, says one thing to2:02:33him. Now, some of you guys may take this2:02:35as chastisement, but it's not2:02:36chastisement,2:02:38right? Chastisement is way worse than2:02:40this. A form of chastisement would be2:02:42something like this. You think you're so2:02:44good, you ain't nothing, right? And then2:02:46you dig into what he exposes. So, for2:02:48example, when Peter chastises people, he2:02:52digs into them, right? What exactly2:02:54needs to be chastised. He doesn't just2:02:56say, "You're not a good person." He goes2:02:57into detail. You foolish Galatians. Just2:03:00calls them fools, dummies, dumb idiots,2:03:03right? You foolish. You started in the2:03:06spirit, but you're now trying to make2:03:08yourself perfect in the flesh. Your2:03:10flesh is basically rotten. You're trying2:03:12to be perfect through it. What the hell2:03:13is wrong with you? Basically, that's2:03:14what he's saying. Jesus, he doesn't just2:03:17go, "You fools, Raka, get away." He2:03:20goes, "You whitewash tombs. You clean2:03:22the outside of the cup. You don't clean2:03:24the inside of the cup." Basically,2:03:25you're filthy inside. You're dirty. Do2:03:28you understand what I'm saying?2:03:29Chastisement is that. And then he calls2:03:31a woman a dog. Things like that. This is2:03:33chastisement. He has to call you kind of2:03:35out of your name. Foolish snakes, brutal2:03:39vipers, whitewashed tombs. None of that2:03:41has happened here. Genuinely, all it is2:03:43is, "Hey, we're nothing. We and I'm2:03:46including myself." And Jesus never says2:03:49that. Chastising is only directed2:03:51towards you. He doesn't say we. He2:03:52doesn't say we're brutal vipers. He2:03:54says, "You." Right? Paul 2, you foolish2:03:56Galatians. What is Johnny even saying?2:03:58We. So, if you're sensitive and you2:04:00don't understand what chastisement is,2:04:02right? Don't, how do I say, get it2:04:05convoluted and don't get it twisted.2:04:07Make sense? Right? So, that's the2:04:09difference here. Okay? All right. So,2:04:11yeah, the clarity aspect, too, which is2:04:13great. But there's going to be times2:04:15where I don't make it clear for you2:04:17guys. But I'm going to ask for faith.2:04:19And if you don't want to do it, I will2:04:20be vilified. Just so you know, that's2:04:22coming too. Everyone does this. Wow. So2:04:26clear. Until I go, hey, respectfully, no2:04:28more explaining and handholding. Just2:04:30believe. But why though? I'm just asking2:04:32a question. What? And it becomes this or2:04:34amen. He's trying to do something to2:04:36teach me to grow, right? So that happens2:04:38too. Like I said, the checkbox is real.2:04:41But what this now this is chastisement.2:04:43Okay, I'll give you guys an example. Why2:04:45would you guys trust your checkbox when2:04:47your life is a failure? You guys have2:04:48nothing to stand on. You literally suck.2:04:50The men you can't keep in your life, the2:04:52women you can't keep in your life. You2:04:54literally struggle with depression.2:04:55Like, who still struggles with2:04:56depression nowadays, 2026, and yet you2:04:59sit here and still trust the thought2:05:00that you have, the thought that led you2:05:01to homelessness, the thought that you2:05:03led to that led you to being isolated?2:05:06Like, genuinely, you guys are stupid.2:05:08Who told you to trust your your thoughts2:05:09and feelings? Seriously, you think2:05:11you're all that and you have no2:05:13disciples whatsoever? Do you understand2:05:14what I'm saying? Right? Like Lil Numei2:05:17doesn't I don't think she has ears,2:05:18right? She's now asking, "Is this now2:05:20chastisement?" When I literally said 102:05:22seconds ago, this is what chastisement2:05:24is. Really, really good listening2:05:26skills, sister. You have horrible2:05:27listening skills. That's why you're2:05:28lonely and depressed. So, I don't2:05:30understand why you would trust a lonely2:05:31and depressed person. This is2:05:33chastisement. Do you understand? God has2:05:35given us a Bible. It's it doesn't does2:05:38it cost money to open the Bible? It2:05:39doesn't. Why don't you open it then? Why2:05:42do you have all of these questions and2:05:43you chachi pt? What's wrong with you?2:05:44That's chastisement. Cuz what it does is2:05:47now it humbles you. But what did I just2:05:48say? Open your Bible. Notice how it ties2:05:51you back to restore you. It doesn't just2:05:52go you're stupid. You're stupid. You're2:05:54stupid. Make sense, right? Why do you2:05:56trust yourself when all you do is listen2:05:58to yourself? Do you have everything2:05:59right in your life? That's chastisement2:06:01now. You don't have anything right in2:06:03your life and yet you don't want to2:06:04trust Jesus who has everything right in2:06:05your life. interesting and you call2:06:07yourself smart. Where do you pull that2:06:09from? This is chastisement, right?2:06:11What's disrespect is you're just stupid.2:06:14Listen, because you're dumb. That's not2:06:16Do you understand what I'm saying?2:06:17Right? That's what I'm saying. Right?2:06:19And then defensiveness comes, right?2:06:20Like this. I asked because I recognize2:06:22myself in what you said. Right? I2:06:24understand. Don't just uh recognize2:06:26accept as well. Right? And please try2:06:28not to respond back because I was just2:06:31giving an example. If you can't even2:06:32tell that there's an example, I still2:06:34another, this is still part of2:06:35chastisement. I don't understand where2:06:37you pull from your big brain. You don't2:06:39even understand when someone is actually2:06:41explaining to your point and supporting2:06:43your point and you think I don't2:06:44understand your point. Again, very2:06:46difficult when people think they're big2:06:48brain, but they're actually Prain.2:06:49Right? That's why you got to go back to2:06:51the Bible and truly grow. This is the2:06:54difference between chastisement. You2:06:56guys understand now, right? Right.2:06:57Pastor Kim would say that to me, too.2:06:59Why do you trust yourself? You're2:07:00nothing. How? When did you lead your2:07:01life well and yet you don't want to2:07:03trust in Jesus? What the hell's wrong2:07:04with you? And right there, you know what2:07:06I would do? I would get butt hurt, too.2:07:08So, you you you follow Jesus, too, then?2:07:10Don't we all fall short? Like, it starts2:07:12doing this. And he goes, "Wait, Johnny,2:07:13let me get this straight." So, you're2:07:14still defending yourself by trying to2:07:17What are you What are you trying to say2:07:18in that? You're trying to say basically2:07:20that you can just follow yourself. Well,2:07:22I'm not saying that, but do you follow2:07:23Jesus? And if you don't follow Jesus,2:07:25don't tell me to follow Jesus, right?2:07:27But at the end, you're basically saying2:07:29you still want to follow yourself then.2:07:31Cuz if what I'm saying is wrong, then of2:07:34course don't follow it. But what if I'm2:07:35saying is right? Why aren't you2:07:37following it? Cuz I'm saying it. You're2:07:39going to tell me you're not in your2:07:40feelings. He starts doing this, which is2:07:42restoring me. Although it hurts. Do you2:07:44understand? That's the difference2:07:46between chastisement. If you don't even2:07:48know what chastisement is, don't say2:07:49that you're getting chastised. You're2:07:51just sensitive.2:07:53Makes sense. Right. [laughter]2:07:55Right. So that that's what I'm saying,2:07:57right? Yeah. But I asked Yeah. [sighs]2:08:01I wasn't talking to you specifically. I2:08:03was using you as an example, sure, but2:08:06I'm saying just this part, right? Don't2:08:08get banned, sis. Just Just being real,2:08:10man. Don't get banned. You got that2:08:12darkness leaking out. Again, why do you2:08:15trust the darkness inside of you, right?2:08:17You could you could you could play this2:08:18game. We could play this game all you2:08:20want, right? Should we do this verbal2:08:22judo? We can. I mean, but you're you're2:08:25g you're just mad that you got exposed.2:08:27That's it. Right. But I asked. Yeah,2:08:29sure. That's the same passive aggressive2:08:31energy. If I sit here and go, I'm2:08:34praying for you guys, but all of you2:08:35guys are dumb. But I'm praying for you.2:08:37Like, but I'm but I said I'm praying for2:08:38you, though. What do you mean? I'm I I2:08:40said I'm praying for you. You guys are2:08:42all stupid idiots, but I I'm I'm saying2:08:44I prayed for you, though. Did you hear2:08:46the part where I said I'm praying for2:08:47you? Like, man, don't play these games2:08:49with us. Make sense? Don't do that,2:08:51guys. Come on. That's L discernment as2:08:53we say,2:08:55right? Make sense, right? So yeah,2:08:58anyways, yeah, just think about what I'm2:09:00saying, right? Amen. So yeah, this is uh2:09:03the the heart posture we have to focus2:09:05on, right? It's okay to get corrected,2:09:07guys. If you were listening to the past2:09:0935 minutes of what I said, if you were,2:09:12take some receptive skills, but if you2:09:14were, you would know, oh, I'm already2:09:17like that. There's nothing wrong with me2:09:19accepting those things, right? I'm2:09:21already like that like I can just2:09:22acknowledge right but the but I asked2:09:25but that you can see right tell me that2:09:27basically you acknowledge it without2:09:29telling me you like you didn't2:09:30acknowledge it that's the whole lesson2:09:32was guys you don't have to feel it if2:09:35you filter things right you will feel2:09:38things and if you feel things you cannot2:09:41be in the word is all I'm saying now2:09:42that's completely 1,000% up to you2:09:46that's your choice but I just want you2:09:48to think back when you felt and filtered2:09:51things. How is that working out for you?2:09:54It makes you hella salty. Do you2:09:56understand? One person can say something2:09:57bad about you, it'll literally plague2:09:59you the whole day, man. Even if it2:10:01plagues you for an hour, why would you2:10:02allow somebody else to plague you for an2:10:05hour, bro? Like, that's crazy talk,2:10:07right? Why, right? Let alone a day, man.2:10:11An hour, 30 minutes. Why would you let2:10:14them get you hot for no reason to mess2:10:16up your cortisol levels, etc., etc.?2:10:18Why? Because you're weak. That's why2:10:21understand? So that's why you need to2:10:23listen, not defend, not get angry, but2:10:26go, okay, I'm weak. I'm lacking. It's2:10:28okay. And God loves me, even though I'm2:10:31like this, right? Not, well, he thinks2:10:33he's better than me. That's not That's2:10:35what Satan is telling you. I've never2:10:36said that. Nothing in my mouth has ever2:10:38come out to go, I'm better than you2:10:40guys. Never. You'll never catch me on a2:10:42main stage. You never catch me anywhere2:10:44saying that. But we put that in our2:10:46brain because of the enemy. Do you2:10:48understand what I'm saying? Right. Thank2:10:50you, Johnny. You really humble me down.2:10:51That's good, bro. And thank you for2:10:53listening because it takes two. You2:10:55understand what I'm saying? It takes2:10:56two, right? Got it. Takes two. You guys2:10:59got to listen, too. You could easily sit2:11:02there and just spam your question that I2:11:04already answered like this guy. We have2:11:07to distrust our thoughts, Johnny. But2:11:08can we do it with our willpower or we2:11:10need God's grace for him to give us that2:11:12heart? He's already given us that grace.2:11:14He's done it so much. He's going to do2:11:16it. He's already done it. Just like2:11:19we've already turned away, he's already2:11:20crucified his son. He's already made us2:11:22a new creature, right? As I had2:11:24mentioned. So, it's again, guys, trust2:11:26me on this. On everything that I love, I2:11:29know what you guys are going to ask.2:11:31I've I asked way more deeper questions2:11:34than you guys. Genuinely, guys,2:11:36understand what I'm saying, right?2:11:38That's okay. That's okay. You don't have2:11:40to be sorry for taking this time from2:11:42everyone else. I don't know myself like2:11:44that. That's good. We, none of us do.2:11:46Myself included. It's okay. No one has2:11:49to apologize. Listen, none of you guys2:11:51have to apologize for those things.2:11:52Unless you're blatantly doing it, then2:11:54of course, right? You got to be like,2:11:55"Hey, yo." You know? Make sense? Right.2:11:58Right. So, you got it, Martha. Amen.2:12:01Right. So, that it's it's okay, guys.2:12:04This is not a place where chastisement.2:12:06I'm doing this to hurt you guys. I I2:12:08hope you know one thing. I'm just trying2:12:10to let you guys grow. I'm just trying to2:12:13show you guys what helped me grow. If2:12:15you don't like the fact that like that,2:12:18okay, then just just just leave, right?2:12:20That's fine. But I I just want you guys2:12:22to get it very clear. And I'm not trying2:12:23to do this to pacify you. I'm just2:12:25keeping it real. I'm kind of sick and2:12:27tired of seeing people like not grow. I2:12:30think that's a heart that God has given2:12:32me cuz I don't really care if you guys2:12:33grow. Like Johnny Chang himself doesn't2:12:35care. But I think the heart inside of me2:12:38with Jesus going, "Man, they need to2:12:39grow cuz we need to make disciples." and2:12:41I'm coming soon and all that, right?2:12:43Like that's what matters. I don't care.2:12:45I'm a selfish human being. 100%. You2:12:48guys know that I'm crazy. I'm all that.2:12:50I don't care. I I genuinely don't care.2:12:52I have no empathy for anybody. I could,2:12:55you know, ride on somebody and sleep2:12:56like a baby for real. That's just how2:12:58I've always been. And I just I I that's2:13:00just how I am. But I also believe I'm a2:13:02new creature, right? Because the Bible2:13:04says so. So I know this is not from me.2:13:07for me to sit here and talk to you guys2:13:09while I have to literally fly out and2:13:11get ready in a couple hours, right? Two2:13:13hours basically to go to like it's not2:13:16going to be me, brothers and sisters.2:13:17So, if you guys can just see that like2:13:20you have to have a little bit of2:13:21discernment to go, hm, this is like this2:13:25can't be Johnny instead of just focusing2:13:27on your own self. You will grow. I2:13:30promise you. I promise you. But the2:13:33issue is people are like that, right?2:13:35Right. Kakadino FX. I'm not going to2:13:37answer your question. Keep spamming2:13:39though, you know, right? Cuz I already2:13:41answered your question, right? Make2:13:43sense, right? So, yeah. Okay. You guys2:13:47will grow, okay? More than anything, if2:13:49you're still focused on communion,2:13:51you've completely missed the true2:13:53communion, which is Jesus Christ.2:13:55I mean, right? Like, you can't even take2:13:57communion if you're a sinner, by the2:13:59way. Respectfully, right? So,2:14:02respectfully, you can't, right? You2:14:04can't. You have to literally approach it2:14:06in in the right way, right?2:14:08Transubstantiation, all that. You have2:14:09to approach it with the right thing,2:14:11which is you have to have no sin. And if2:14:13you do, there's little things that you2:14:14have to do. Or you can just listen to2:14:16what Johnny says and says you're2:14:17absolved of all of your sins. You're2:14:18righteous, you're perfected, you're2:14:19holy. Why wouldn't you take communion if2:14:21you don't believe that you're righteous2:14:23and perfected? Don't take communion.2:14:25Straight up. Don't take communion. But2:14:27if you're righteous, you're perfected,2:14:29you're holy, you're sanctified, you're2:14:30justified, right? Then you can take2:14:33communion and you are like living the2:14:35communion by trusting in his word and2:14:37eating his words every single day.2:14:40Right? The people who are taking2:14:41communion if they're coming with sins2:14:43that's not valid by the way. They're2:14:45going to go to hell either way. Make2:14:46sense? Yes, Flores. Your heart posture2:14:48is always wrong. Always. Don't spiral.2:14:52So you you heard that part right where I2:14:53say it's always wrong. The other part2:14:55here the other part I'm saying don't2:14:56spiral because of that. Just acknowledge2:14:59yeah I I'm always wrong. my heart2:15:01posture is wrong. But but if I lean back2:15:05onto the word, that is the new heart to2:15:07distrust my old one. If I lean back to2:15:09Ezekiel 36:26, that's the new heart. So2:15:12yeah, your heart, you your floristes,2:15:14Johnny Chang's heart posture, everyone2:15:16in here's heart posture is always wrong,2:15:17100%. But what does the Bible say? He2:15:20gave you a new heart. So if you start to2:15:22trust your old heart, your feelings,2:15:23your emotions, your this, your that,2:15:25then you're back to your old self again.2:15:27We are new creatures. We are to look2:15:29forward, not backwards. Right? Don't2:15:32trust your heart. So when you're sitting2:15:33there, I don't do this. I don't do that.2:15:35I don't learn well. I'm not a good2:15:36person. I'm I'm I'm Then you're back at2:15:39your own heart. If you're like, although2:15:40I'm a bad person, sure. But didn't Jesus2:15:43die for my sins? He did. Understand what2:15:45I'm saying? And don't let anybody else,2:15:47sister, I know that you kind of rely on2:15:48other people to like confirm you, right?2:15:50You've shared this before. Whether it's2:15:52a pastor, whether it's somebody else or2:15:54brother, whatever. I'm sorry. I thought2:15:56it was brother. uh sister, right? Um but2:15:58brother, right, you you kind of re rely2:16:01on other people, right? 100%. To like2:16:04confirm you, then don't sit there and2:16:07and rely on other people. Rely on God.2:16:09That goes for anybody in here, right? If2:16:11a man cheats on you, do you know what2:16:13you have to think of? Okay, that's what2:16:15the Bible said. It said all men are2:16:17liars. Let God be true. Even the people2:16:19who are gospel- centered, even the2:16:20people who are, you know, really amazing2:16:22philanthropists, even the people who2:16:24have a lot of money and I done2:16:25everything for them. Yeah, that's what2:16:27the Bible says. Do you understand what2:16:29I'm saying? It's just how it is at the2:16:31end of the day, right? But if you2:16:33realize how much a of a garbage human2:16:35being you are too in terms of the2:16:37gospel, then what's the problem? You you2:16:39have to be left too. Ladies, if you have2:16:42that mindset, you will appreciate2:16:43everybody. Do you understand what I'm2:16:45saying? Don't just quote scripture and2:16:47not even live it like some of you guys2:16:49are doing here. Genuinely believe it2:16:51though. Understand what I'm saying?2:16:52We're evil people. All of us. You and I2:16:55both don't get treated with respect and2:16:57that's how it's supposed to be2:16:58respectfully. [snorts] But it's God who2:17:01died for you that gives you all the2:17:03levels of respect. Trust me guys, don't2:17:05get in that trap, man. They need to2:17:07respect me. They need to choose me. They2:17:09need to love me. They need to do like2:17:11they don't though. And it's apparent2:17:14that they don't. You guys understand2:17:16what I'm saying? They don't do it. They2:17:18don't do it. And you would be just the2:17:19same to go back and do evil things back2:17:21to them. Right, guys? Men, have you guys2:17:24ever like cheated on your women because2:17:26they did something to you or like2:17:27emasculated you? Yes, you did. Yes, you2:17:29have. Right? Have you ever thought like2:17:32done disrespectful things to women2:17:33because of that? Of course. Ladies, have2:17:35you ever done it? Of course. Have you2:17:37went and cheated on somebody? Have you2:17:39went and, I don't know, sneaked through2:17:40in their phone and checked their2:17:42messages without them knowing? Have you2:17:43ever lied upon them and try to like rage2:17:45bait them and like you know like flirt2:17:48with a guy to get them angry but like of2:17:50course you have of course you have2:17:53understand of course right not not in2:17:55that maybe not even outwardly but I2:17:58guarantee you did it inwardly I2:17:59guarantee you thought about a life2:18:01without them and if you told them that2:18:03they would be freaking pissed because2:18:05that sucks understand what I'm saying2:18:07right so 100% right make sense right so2:18:12this This is kind of what it comes down2:18:14to at the end of the day. If you realize2:18:16that, then what's the problem? What's2:18:18the issue for real? What's the problem?2:18:21Nothing, right? Yeah. This is what we're2:18:23going to do. That's why I should2:18:25probably utilize this not to lean on a2:18:27woman, lean on a man, lean on my mom,2:18:29lean on my dad, cuz it's it's all2:18:31relationships. My dad's supposed to do2:18:34this for me. No, he's not. Respectfully,2:18:36he's not. There's a bunch of deadbeat2:18:38dads. I had one. And the only thing that2:18:40changed him, by the way, was God. So you2:18:43have to go back to God more than2:18:45anything. My mother should respect me.2:18:47And and even as a mom, you can't be2:18:49like, "My kids should respect me. Honor2:18:51your parents. I gave them life." No, you2:18:53didn't. God gave them life. He used you2:18:54as a vessel. Sure. But if you just start2:18:57from this humility, right? Nothing is2:19:00going to affect you. You know who that's2:19:01going to benefit? You at the end of the2:19:02day. Okay? That's it. It's all I'm2:19:05saying, guys. So it's just kind of what2:19:07it comes down to, right?2:19:09Okay. All right. Hope you guys can2:19:12understand that. Don't get mad,2:19:14brothers. Release anybody. Your parents2:19:16who hurt you today. Let's do that today.2:19:19Release anybody who's hurt you in the2:19:20past and anybody who's going to hurt you2:19:22in the present. Release them today.2:19:24Sisters, too. Release everybody. Don't2:19:27try to get even. Don't try to, you know,2:19:29I'm going to get mad. You know, my mom2:19:31did this to me. She's a bad mother.2:19:33Like, no. Let it go. Let it go. You know2:19:35why? because you're literally drinking2:19:37poison expecting them to die. Literally,2:19:40right? And we all deserve to burn.2:19:42That's the real. That is the godhonest2:19:46real. We all deserve to burn, right? So,2:19:49the way to let it go is very simple.2:19:50What I just taught you guys ready? This2:19:52is the unlock. Oh, in front of God, I'm2:19:55that person and probably worse towards2:19:57God. as much as that person has betrayed2:20:00me and that person, you know, uh some of2:20:03you guys I I know are struggling with2:20:04sibling rivalry, too. I hate my, you2:20:07know, I hate my brother cuz my mom loved2:20:08my brother more. So, as much as you've2:20:11chose like your mom chose that person2:20:13over you, how much did you choose2:20:15another person over God? I think many2:20:18many times, oh, that mother effer2:20:20cheated on me. That mother father2:20:22cheated on me. He has no faith. Right?2:20:25But how many times do we cheat on Jesus2:20:27and God with the with with Satan, the2:20:29devil? Numerous times. Every time you2:20:31sin, that's called spiritual adultery,2:20:33right? Ah my, you know, my my my kids2:20:37don't listen to me. I give them2:20:39everything. They don't even appreciate2:20:40me. Huh? You get mad, right? Well, who2:20:43is the person that gave you everything2:20:44and you don't even appreciate the 30,0002:20:47beats in your heart, right? The brain2:20:49that's working, the eyes that are2:20:50working, the ears that are working,2:20:53right? So, if you can just again think2:20:56about it in this perspective, how the2:20:58hell can you be mad at anybody? How can2:21:00you be frustrated? You actually be2:21:01happy. Damn, I'm glad my my dad got2:21:03saved. Sheesh. Imagine if they if God2:21:06had to kill my dad who did me so dirty,2:21:09then he'd have to kill me, too. Make2:21:11sense, right? Make sense? He'd have to2:21:13kill me, too. Same thing if if he had to2:21:16kill that person who you know hurt you2:21:18and buil give trauma to you and didn't2:21:20choose you and your kids who hate you2:21:22and vape and lie to you and if he had to2:21:25do that to them guess what you're going2:21:27in the same hell they're going to2:21:28straight up though [clears throat]2:21:30make sense. So it's all about God. Let2:21:33go guys of the things that you guys have2:21:35in your hearts today. I need to do this.2:21:38They need to do that. He needs to2:21:39respect me. She needs to respect me. My2:21:41kids need to respect me. my uncle, my2:21:43cousins, my grandma, every like, dude,2:21:45come on. Respectfully, no. They don't2:21:48need to respect you because did you keep2:21:50that same energy with God? If you2:21:52didn't, shut the mouse. As Pastor Kim2:21:55says, shut the mouse. Okay, the mouth2:21:59needs to be shut. Well, I did this to2:22:02everybody, but you can't do this to me.2:22:04Like, you know, this type of energy is2:22:06crazy, right? I did this to God2:22:08Almighty. But you did it to me who is2:22:10God all nothing. I'm nothing, but you2:22:13don't do that to me. But I did it to the2:22:15man who created the universe. Like what?2:22:17Where the hell is the freaking Where is2:22:19this circular reasoning here? I hurt2:22:22people because they hurt me. And people2:22:24hurt me. That's why I hurt other people.2:22:25It's like, no, this circular ass2:22:27reasoning is what the hell is going on2:22:29here, right? You respect me and I2:22:31respect you. Okay, then follow the2:22:33circular reasoning because I didn't2:22:35respect God. you shouldn't respect me.2:22:37That's facts. Why not do it that way,2:22:39right? So, don't get mad, guys. Don't2:22:42get mad people don't, you know, respect2:22:44you. Just go, damn, that's how I made2:22:47God feel. All right, now I can go to2:22:49Now, draw boundaries. Sure. Hey, don't2:22:50respect, don't disrespect me. I I pray2:22:53that you go to God. I did the same to2:22:54God. But in your heart, you have to have2:22:56that center line. Dang, this is me. As2:22:59as angry as I am with this person, this2:23:01is how I should be, right? in front of2:23:03God, too, because he's that angry with2:23:06me. Make sense? Like, as as mad as I am2:23:08with this person, that's probably how2:23:11mad God is with me when I did those2:23:12things to him and he forgave me. So, why2:23:15can't I forgive this person, right? But2:23:17people are are wicked. That's the2:23:19problem with us, especially when we2:23:21don't get exalted. My god, guys.2:23:24You know, exaltation means to be put on2:23:26a platform, to be chosen, to be put up,2:23:29to be uh lifted up, to be acknowledged,2:23:32to be validated. Especially2:23:35Especially if we don't get, you know,2:23:39exalted and edified. Oh my god, we turn2:23:42into the worst people. Literally the2:23:44worst people in the world. people have2:23:46left our church and is now talking hella2:23:48trash about our church because they2:23:50weren't exalted. Literally, the pastor2:23:52was like, "No, you're not going to do2:23:53that." And that no made them go, "This2:23:55is a cult. I hate them. They kill2:23:58people. They're evil. They do this."2:24:01They start doing this all because they2:24:02weren't chosen. Understand, right? No,2:24:05seriously. Sometimes I go to God and I'm2:24:08just real like, "Damn, God, how come you2:24:09don't just like take these fools off the2:24:11earth?" And then I have to remind myself2:24:13because then I have to take you off.2:24:14Johnny, I'm serious. I keep it real with2:24:16y'all. I'm like, "Damn, God. How come2:24:18you don't just, you know, a little car2:24:19accident ain't never hurt nobody? You2:24:21know, a little T-bone steak, turn them2:24:23into a steak, huh?" You know what I2:24:24mean? You know, they're dumb anyways.2:24:27They don't live live. I should have be2:24:28mean, too. I'd be like, "God, they're2:24:29dumb. They don't even live spiritual2:24:30life, dude. Look at them. They're dumb."2:24:32I preached the same thing a thousand2:24:34times. They're like just laughing and2:24:35smiling and giggling because they're2:24:36dumb. They're retarget. They're retarget2:24:40as they say. They're retarget and2:24:43they're acoustic. These are these are2:24:45these are things that you can uh you can2:24:46use, right? They're restarted2:24:49and acoustic, right? They say PDF file2:24:51and all these little names that they can2:24:53use so they don't get unalived. God, why2:24:55don't you unalive them because they're2:24:56restarted and fairly acoustic, but not2:24:59the good kind. The one that's really2:25:01really smart and like superpower2:25:03acoustic. No, they're like Jabba the Hut2:25:05acoustic in their brain. say um one2:25:08thing 10,000 times, you know, and2:25:11they're like, "What?" That type of2:25:13acoustic. I don't I don't think that's2:25:15good, God. No, I straight up keep it2:25:17real with God, though. Sometimes I be2:25:19like that. Why, dude? This person thinks2:25:20they're all that. They don't even live2:25:21freaking happy. And then God's like,2:25:23"Johnny boy, that was you at one point.2:25:26Mr. Johnny, you're not special. You're2:25:29special ed." And I'm like, "All right,2:25:31all right. All right, God. All right,2:25:34fine. Okay, brother. Let me gain your2:25:36heart." Okay, sister. Let me gain your2:25:37heart. And then later, it's like, you2:25:39know, then I run back to him. God, why?2:25:43Too bad. That's what it is. All right,2:25:45guys. See you guys later. Take care. God2:25:49loves you. Even if you're acoustic or2:25:50restarted, as they say, or special2:25:53specialed. You're still special to God,2:25:56okay? You're still special to God. If2:25:57you're specialed, it's okay. That's2:25:58still special. Okay? If you're2:26:00hard-headed, it's okay. God softens2:26:02people. If you're soft, God will make2:26:04you hardened, right? Vice versa, Nissan2:26:08Versa. Just kidding. All right, guys.2:26:09See you guys later. Bye.
