Yeah, you guys can ask your0:17questions. I have about What's my0:19meeting? Oh, shoot. It's at 11:00, so I0:22have to have a hard stop like 5 minutes0:24before just to prep a little bit. We've0:26been having meetings all day, so if you0:28guys can Yeah, help me with that, that0:31would be amazing, and I would appreciate0:34you all very, very much, and you all get0:36big mansions in heaven0:38uh courtesy of Jesus Christ. All right,0:41let's let's answer some of these0:42questions here. There are relationships0:44in my life in which I want to connect0:45vertically to God because I know that if0:47this relationship doesn't push me0:49towards God, he'll remove these0:50friendships, but I keep talking about0:52life and regular stuff and not the true0:53life. How can we focus on Jesus, and how0:56can these relationships push me closer0:58to God even when I don't necessarily am1:01talking about him? Please give two1:02examples for friendships with the person1:04who claims to believe and for a1:05friendship with uh it's the same for1:07both. Sometimes the Jesus that they see1:10is the way that you present yourself,1:13too. So, the way that you don't gossip,1:15the way that you don't use people, the1:16way that you give them grace and and1:19show mercy and faithfulness, these are1:21things that you show both people. So,1:23it's not different for any other person,1:26right? We don't have to separate the1:27two. We can put them two together. The1:28most important thing is realizing that1:30you're not the savior and that you're1:32just a mirror and a reflection of Jesus1:35Christ. That's it. So, you don't have to1:37force this spiritual life or spiritual1:40language into every sentence, right? You1:42You just have to be present for that1:45sentence. You have to be present and1:46just talk about Jesus when you see an1:49opening, and when you don't, just don't.1:50Matthew 5:16 pops up when I think about1:53this, and let me just make sure cuz I'm1:55me I'm running off of 3 hours of sleep1:57again, so it might not be the verse, but1:59I think it's Matthew 5:16. It's let your2:01light, but let me just double check here2:02on it should be that. That's the verse2:04that popping up in my brain. There it2:05is. Let your light so shine before men2:08that they may see your good works and2:09glorify your father in heaven, right? So2:12good works we know comes from our2:13father. They see you moving, they see2:15your actions and they will glorify God2:17because of it. So your life is going to2:19speak basically before your mouth does.2:22So the way you carry yourself is going2:23to preach louder than what you actually2:25preach. If you sit there and you just2:27talk about Jesus, but then they see2:28you're impatient, they see you're2:29struggling, they see that you suck, they2:31see that you're weak, they see that2:32you're2:33uh you know, lustful, emotional, they're2:35not going to see Jesus. They're going to2:36be like, "Oh, this guy's one of those2:37hypocrites where he talks about God, but2:39isn't live about God. It isn't about2:40God." Right? So gain the arts first and2:43then share the truth is what I always2:44say. And and as you know, a friendship2:46that pushes you closer to God, one that2:48makes you more honest, makes you humble,2:51makes you, you know, dependent on God,2:53is the one that you have to go for. Uh2:55any other friendship that makes you feel2:57attached or makes you feel needed or2:59wanted or validated, that's probably not3:02good friendship. So some friendships3:04will pull you towards Jesus, other3:06friendships will pull you towards3:07yourself. So the question is not do we3:10say and speak about Jesus every, you3:12know, minute or every 5 minutes. The3:13question you have to ask yourself as a3:15heart posture check is is this3:16relationship helping my heart, you know,3:18get closer to Jesus, right? So yeah,3:22that's kind of the the most important3:24thing, right? So don't try to preach to3:26people, just be there for them. And I3:29think that's one of the most important3:31things that God can can truly work3:33through. Teach us. Yeah, I would I would3:36talk about that more than anything and3:38show that more than anything.3:40Um I have a dumb question. When the3:42Bible says wait upon the Lord, what does3:44that mean? To pray and meditate on his3:45word? Also, how do we meditate beyond3:48simply reading? So first and foremost,3:50all, to receive biblical salvation to3:52understand what the Bible even says. We3:54have a lot of people in here who've read3:55the Bible multiple times, but they don't3:58understand because the filter is still4:00their own lens. It's still their own4:02thinking, right? So, it's not a dumb4:04question. That's a great question, but4:06the answer to that question is if you're4:08trying to use your logical brain to4:10figure something out that's spiritual,4:12it's impossible, right? Because4:14spiritual and logic are two different4:16things. You cannot explain logically how4:19Jesus can bend water to make it concrete4:22and shift the molecules that they're so4:23hard that he can walk on it. So, where4:26logic begins, faith is going to end is4:28what I say, right? So, the most4:30important thing is not what does this4:32mean? The most important thing4:34underneath that heart is I don't even4:36understand what this means, and I have4:38to accept that and acknowledge that. If4:40you start to try to decipher what does4:41this mean? Just sit there and do4:42nothing. Does this mean, you know, I4:44have to meditate on on the word? Does4:46this Like, no, it's it's more of I don't4:49understand, and that's why I don't think4:52I can ever understand, and then that4:54comes from a heart of humility, right?4:56Because let's say God can give you the4:59heart to understand all things, then5:01you're not going to need God, and that's5:02what happened with Solomon. King5:04Solomon, he started with the right5:06heart. He said, "I am a child amongst5:08these men." Meaning he's he's he's5:10already underclassman. He's already5:12lower. And then God said, "Because you5:14didn't ask for money and you're humble,5:16I'm going to give you the wisdom that5:17supersedes all wisdom. Till this day, no5:19one is ever going to be smarter than5:20you." But during that time, what did he5:22do? When he received it, God revealed5:24his heart to him. He started to get5:26women. He had a thousand women. He had5:27700 wives, 300 concubines. Crazy, right?5:31Insatiable pleasure. He He had money and5:33riches because he was so smart that5:35kings would come to him for battle on5:37how to defeat other kings. He would5:39placate to different things. He would5:40solve problems. He was very, very5:42philosophical. The one thing he did5:44though was because of that, he didn't5:45need God anymore. And that's why he5:47said, "Vanity, vanity, all things are5:49vanity." He comes to the conclusion of,5:51"Although I have all of this knowledge5:52and I know everything, I I know what it5:54means to wait upon the Lord, I know what5:56it means to exegite scripture, I know5:57what it means to help people and guide5:59people and lead people and shepherd6:00people, but in my heart, I forgot about6:02God." That's the conclusion he comes6:04that down to. So, that's the same heart6:06that I see in many of us here, not just6:09you. Is this heart of I want to know6:11though, and I want to know to better6:13serve God. King Solomon did the same6:15thing. "Well, I took these women in to6:16make covenants with their kings so that6:18they can receive the gospel." That's6:19what everybody says. Just like everyone6:21who says, "Hey, I I'm going to bring my6:23family together. I'm going to give my6:25life to you. We're going to get married.6:26Your your mom's going to become my mom6:28legally. We're going to legally become6:29families, right? And family members."6:31And then two, three years, five years,6:3310 years, 20 years down the line, we6:34divorce. So, good intention is is really6:37at the root of Satan. Satan will never6:40cuz if you don't have good intention,6:42you know it's going to be bad. You're6:43not even going to do it. So, what Satan6:45has to do is he has to give good6:46intention to replace God intention.6:49That's what he loves to do. So, he'll6:50start with what? You're just trying to6:51understand the Bible. And later what6:53happens is you'll then critique people6:54who don't know the Bible. You'll then6:56use it to thump people with the Bible.6:58You'll then use it to close hearts.6:59You'll then be able to isolate yourself,7:01become pharisaical. And this is the7:02pattern that we don't even see that's7:04happening, right? Satan uh you guys have7:07to understand, knows scripture so7:09freaking well. He knows it better than7:11everybody because he was literally a7:12guardian to the throne. So, he was there7:15when God was like, "I'm going to make7:16this Bible. I'm going to do the" He knew7:18the plans already. Satan knows that he's7:20defeated. His sole purpose is to drag us7:23to hell. That's it. He knows, "I know7:25where I'm going, but in this time, I'm7:26going to take as many people to hurt7:28God's heart." Cuz that's what he's7:29about. He knows he's not going to win.7:31He's not stupid. He's very wise. But the7:33issue with him is that he wants to ruin7:35God's plan. He wants people to see like,7:38"Oh God, you think they love you? Let7:40Let show you how much they don't love7:41you." Because he revealed his heart in7:42Job. You think they love you. I'm going7:44to show you that they don't love you.7:45That's what he loves to do with God.7:47It's a It's a pit for our souls because7:48it's against God. It's nothing against7:50us. We didn't do anything to Satan. But7:52he hates God. So, similar to how like7:54gang members attack family members who7:56are innocent, it's the same way that7:58Satan is doing that to us. We're the7:59family members in this case. Right?8:01We're just the victims because we didn't8:02do it solely because God loves us. He's8:04going to hurt the people he loves in8:06order to hurt the one he hates. Right?8:08And so, in this way, we have to8:11recognize the depth here.8:13So, to answer your question, um now8:15knowing that heart as a foundation, it's8:17not about just praying and meditating on8:19his word. It's not about just simply8:22reading. Uh because that heart has to8:25shift from it doesn't matter if I read8:27or not. If God doesn't give me the grace8:29to do these things, I can't do it.8:31Right? And if he doesn't give me the8:32grace to to sit there and not fall8:35asleep when I crack open my Bible, I'm8:36I'm not going to be I'm just going to8:37fall asleep. If he doesn't hold on to8:39me, I will fall to my temptation. If he8:42doesn't give me the strength to wake up8:43every morning to not be depressed, to be8:45lonely, to be isolated, then I I I can8:47only be lonely, isolated, and depressed.8:49Right? So, these are things that God8:51wants to strip out of us and show us8:53constantly, "Hey, you don't have control8:56of anything. I'm trying to show you8:57that. But you keep thinking that you do8:59because the enemy wants us to do that."9:02Right? So,9:03to grow with God is simply not9:06meditating on his word. It's accepting9:07his word. It's realizing a few things. I9:10can never understand his word, which is9:11what I've come to the conclusion to9:13realize. I can never live my own life,9:15which is what I've just also realized in9:17my life, too. I can never do anything9:20truly without the grace of God. So,9:22before we even do any of those things,9:25Okay, I was totally on a different mic.9:27I'm so sorry, guys. Can you guys hear me9:29better now? Way better. Okay, okay.9:31Yeah, it's much clearer now. Sorry about9:32that. Okay, when we understand it from9:34the root like this, then things start to9:37change drastically, right? We start to9:39really depend on God. And at the end of9:41the day, guys, what God wants you to do9:44is depend on him because you have to.9:46The problem is we don't really like to9:48because we don't want to wait on his9:49timing. We just don't, right? It's just9:52It's just harder, right? I'm going to9:54scroll down a little bit. Sorry, it's9:55just probably answered a lot of the9:57questions here. So, if you still need to9:59a question answered, you can repost it.10:01Will Satan be standing with the rest of10:02us on Judgment Day? Um not not in that10:04sense. So, he's not standing there um as10:08your equal. People think Satan is like10:10going to stand next to God and bring up10:12every mistake you've ever made, right?10:15So, he's he's an accuser. He will10:17accuse, but Jesus also advocates, right?10:20So, when you get to Revelation chapter10:2220, verse 10 specifically, verse 12 as10:26well, it says uh10:28What's the scripture? That the beast and10:31the false prophet will be in the lake of10:33fire and brimstone, and they will be10:35tormented day and night forever and10:36ever, right? And then after that, it10:39talks about uh verse 12 talks about the10:42dead people, small and great, right? Big10:44and small. They stand before God, and10:46the books were opened. And then another10:48book was opened, which is called the10:50Book of Life.10:51And they were judged out of that, which10:53were written in those books according to10:54their works. So, Satan isn't standing in10:57like a courtroom. Basically, God says11:00he'll be in the lake of fire, right? Uh11:03same with Matthew 25, I think verse 4011:05or 41. It speaks about he gets thrown11:10into this everlasting fire, which is11:12prepared for the devil and his angels,11:13but also for us who go against God,11:16right? He can't really overturn the11:19conviction of God, which is everlasting11:21life in John 5:24. What he can do is he11:25will continuously accuse up until11:27basically your death, right? And so, he11:31will he will talk about those things,11:32absolutely. But will he stand next to11:34us? No. He will be in the lake of fire,11:37essentially, is what God is saying. How11:38can I stop being focused11:40so focused on myself and my feelings?11:43Good question. Well, the question kind11:45of answers the the question. It answers11:48itself in that if you if you don't stop11:51focusing on yourself, then you'll only11:53be in your feelings. But if you do stop11:55focusing on yourself, then you won't be11:57in your feelings.11:59Right? Um the issue here is that we take12:02our feelings like it's it's the standard12:04of God. That's the problem. We think12:07they're reliable. We think they're12:08stable. We think there's nothing wrong12:09with our feelings. To a degree, they're12:12they're not, right? They're not wrong12:14all the time. So, that's why it's very12:16difficult. Right? But Colossians 3:2 is12:19very clear. It says, "Set your12:20affection, your feelings, on things12:22above, not things below, not things on12:25the on the earth, on the ground." Right?12:27So, you have to recognize what is your12:30heart, what is your feelings aligned12:32with? Is it aligned with yourself or is12:34it aligned with God? And if it's not12:36aligned with God, then even if it's12:38aligned with yourself, you have to12:39reject those things. So, the simple way12:42to put it, practical way to put it, is12:43you have to look at your emotions and12:45judge your emotions. Well, if I follow12:47my emotions, what happens? You have to12:49assess it. What situations has my12:51emotions straight up led me into?12:53Whether it's anxiety, rejection,12:55depression, loneliness, insecurity,12:56whatever. Those are all from feelings12:58cuz God doesn't do that. Right? So, even13:01Peter, he struggled with this. Peter's13:03focus was on his feelings. When he got13:05angry, he chopped off an ear. You know,13:06when when he felt passionate, he spoke13:08about his passion. But during those13:10times, God calls him Satan, and then God13:13says, "You only care about your feelings13:15and man, basically, yourself." Right?13:18So, think about your if you're going to13:20let your feelings lead. That's fine. But13:23you have to be honest with yourself. You13:25have to then go, "Okay, where is this13:27leader leading me and where has my13:29feelings led me?" You got to think about13:30it that way. You can't just be like,13:32"Well, it can keep leading me cuz it's13:33part of me." No, you have to look at it.13:35You have to judge it. Okay, fine. I'll13:36follow my feelings, but when I follow13:38these feelings, where did it lead me?13:39You have to at least do that. And then13:41naturally, the byproduct is you start to13:43see you have clarity. You start to go,13:45"Huh, I really shouldn't think about13:47myself cuz when I think about myself, I13:48ruin myself." Right? Does the do I13:50feelings lead me to prayer or does it13:52lead me to paranoia? Different pieces to13:55panic, right? Is it leading me to prayer13:57or is it leading me to panic? Is it13:58leading me to paranoia, right? These are14:00different pieces, right? And so, we have14:02to we have to be able to know that and14:04understand these things, right? That's14:06very, very important here. So, the more14:09you focus on your feelings, honestly, at14:13least I've experienced this, the heavier14:15your life gets.14:16But the more you focus on Jesus, the14:18more you start to breathe again, the14:20more you start getting lighter. It's14:22It's really It's really the truth. So,14:24the goal is not to stop feeling. The14:26goal is to think about your feelings and14:30yet treat them like God. Are they a good14:32God? If they're a good God, why did the14:34feelings, which is supposed to lead,14:36lead you to depression? Then in that14:38situation, it's easy for you to14:39differentiate now, oh, my feelings14:41didn't even lead me anywhere good. They14:43led me to sleep around with that guy.14:44They led me to uh sleep around with that14:47girl. They led me to do drugs. They led14:49me to fight the servant. Um they led me14:51to argue with my mom and call this14:53person out of their name and Do you14:55understand? So, like now you're able to14:57just go, "Oh, okay, let me let my14:59feelings lead." And what happened when15:01they led?15:02And then this is just You don't even15:04have to How do I do this? No, you15:06literally go, "Oh, duh, it led me15:08horribly. Why would I follow something15:10horrible?" It doesn't doesn't make15:12sense, right? At the end of the day,15:14it's just kind of how it is. Um this15:17one's kind of long. I was asked if God15:19would be happy with my lifestyle the15:20other day and I said, "No." I wanted it15:22to ask him back if God was happy with15:23King Solomon's lifestyle King David's15:25lifestyle because of the multiple wives15:26or concubines they have." This gentleman15:28that asked me, this was my Lyft driver15:30and all I did was thank him because God15:32kept keep sending people to help me out15:33lately.15:34I've been back in relationship with15:36Jesus going on 2 years. I'm almost I'm15:37in a homosexual relationship. We We15:39being both female. During these past 215:42years of my life has cleaned up15:44significantly. I quit drinking, doing15:47drugs, smoking cigarettes. I went back15:48to school, got a job I love. I've been15:50reading the Bible to see God's character15:51and heart towards us. I just feel like15:53an appropriate response from me would15:55have just been me saying God is still15:56working on me. I said multiple times15:59he's not here to judge, but yet question16:01my lifestyle rather rather than if I16:03even have a relationship with Jesus. I'm16:05really conflicted about that in my16:06brain. Help. The The thing about it is16:09the person that was asking that question16:10was a very16:12I mean, I know you're being nice and and16:13and cool with them, but that was a16:15judgmental question. So, that's why your16:17mind is conflicted. It's not necessarily16:19that you were struggling with that cuz16:21if you didn't see the Lyft driver, you16:23wouldn't even think about those things,16:24genuinely.16:25He What he he or she said prompted that.16:28So, first you need to separate those two16:30things. I'll help you with that. The16:31first thing is there's conviction from16:33God and then there's condemnation from16:34people. Conviction brings you closer to16:36Jesus. Condemnation makes you confused16:38and hide from Jesus. When you look at16:40Romans chapter 8:1, it's very clear,16:43right? There is therefore now no16:44condemnation to them or which are in16:46Christ Jesus. So, if the conversation16:48made you feel I need Jesus, then yeah,16:50that can be conviction. If it made you16:52feel like,16:53"I shouldn't have said that. What's16:54wrong with me? I'm stupid. I should have16:56I should have just said this. I should16:57have" then that's not really conviction16:59to be honest. That's condemnation and17:00that's you clawing back control for17:02exaltation. What I mean by that is17:05it made you feel less than as a17:06Christian. That's the problem. That's17:09why you're clawing back to go, "I should17:10have answered correctly." No, it's not17:12about answering correctly cuz what does17:13that matter if God knows your heart,17:15right? But we're not focusing on that.17:16So, that's how I can It's a telltale17:18sign that it's condemnation. So, that's17:20not the voice of the gospel. That's not17:22the voice of God.17:23>> Nobody told me that faith would be this17:24lonely. I thought when I gave my life to17:26God, everything would just click.17:28Community, peace, direction. A lot of us17:30are out here just trying to figure it17:32out alone. Your family thinks it's a17:33phase. You go to church on Sunday,17:35you're smiling, and then on Monday,17:37reality hits and you're back alone in17:39your home in your thoughts. I know17:41exactly what that's like. I got out of17:43prison at the age of 25. I didn't have a17:44church home. I didn't have friends. I17:46didn't even really have family to back17:48me up. I had God. I had a Bible, but17:50more importantly than anything, I had a17:52pastor who I could lean on to ask17:54questions and to just receive mentorship17:56and have fellowship with. And the thing17:57that changed everything for me wasn't17:59just studying alone. It was actually18:01having someone I could bring my real18:02questions to. Not the Sunday school18:04questions, the real ones, the ones that18:06keep you up at night. The ones that make18:08you feel unworthy because you can't18:09figure it out on your own. Therefore,18:11you feel as if you're less of a18:13Christian. That's why every single18:14Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard18:16Time, I go live inside the Core of the18:17Heart Daily App. First, we do a full18:19Bible class, real teaching, not that18:22surface level stuff. We go super deep.18:24Then, we open it up, group mentorship.18:26You bring your real questions, not the18:28polished ones, and I answer them with18:29scriptures and honesty based off of real18:31struggles that I went through in my18:33life. You were never supposed to do this18:34alone, and now you don't have to. Bible18:36class every Saturday at 10:00 a.m.18:38Pacific Standard Time. Can't wait to see18:39you guys there.18:40>> Now, when you had mentioned King David18:42and Solomon, and I understand what18:43you're saying. How can someone question18:45basically at the core of your heart,18:46what you're asking is, how can someone18:48question my lifestyle when the Bible18:50shows that these kings have multiple18:52wives and concubines? That's fair, but18:54we also have to be careful because David18:56and Solomon's lifestyles are not proof18:57that God approved everything they did.19:00He recorded those things to show us why19:03we shouldn't do those things. Understand19:05what I'm saying, right? When you look at19:071 Kings 11:4,19:09it says, "For the time came to pass when19:11Solomon was old, that his wives turned19:15away his heart after other gods. And his19:17heart was not perfect with the Lord his19:19God, as was the heart of David his19:21father." So, they had desires that19:24turned them away. Make sense? They show19:27that that one beautiful thing.19:30The unlock here is not to try to add19:33permission to what we're doing. The one19:35thing is, "Whoa, even though we're messy19:38people, like King Solomon, King David,19:41God still works with us." And that in19:44itself should show you and motivate you19:47with how much love God actually has.19:50Understand? And that love right there is19:53going to change a person, whether you're19:54straight, gay, religious, it doesn't19:56matter. Whether you're addicted,19:57struggling, it doesn't matter. It will19:59literally change your lifestyle. The20:01number one thing I also want to err on20:02the side of is nobody gets saved because20:05their lifestyle is clean, because no one20:07is clean.20:08We get saved because Jesus is clean.20:10Right? Romans 5:8 talks about this.20:13Right? At the end of the day, this is20:15what it comes down to. Right? And when20:17you had mentioned, you know, "I don't20:18know what to do with all of this,"20:19basically, you have to think about, you20:22know, where is my heart posture? Sure,20:24you quit drinking, you quit smoking, you20:25quit, you know, drugs, and you went back20:27to school, you got the job that you20:28love, let's say. That's beautiful. But20:30cleaning up your life is not the same as20:33trusting Jesus with your life.20:35Do you understand what I'm saying?20:36Trusting Jesus is20:38I'm crucified with him. Right? And yes,20:41God is still working on me, sure, but20:44the end result is it's finished already.20:46So, I think what God is allowing when he20:48allows your relationship is not because20:50he hates you. He's actually trying to20:51show you more love. Hey, where are you20:53trusting yourself more than Jesus?20:56In this relationship, you're trusting20:57yourself more than Jesus, right? That's20:59what he means. Now, am I saying that you21:01should quit and and break up? No. What21:03I'm saying is we have to at least at the21:05heart posture, understand what it is21:09that Jesus wants, not what we think he21:11wants, not what we feel he wants, right?21:13The question is not is God happy with my21:16lifestyle?21:17The deeper question you have to ask21:18yourself is, am I letting Jesus be Lord21:20over the places I still want to be Lord21:23over, right? Because it doesn't matter21:25about heterosexual, homosexual, because21:27some people who are in heterosexual21:29relationships still worship lust. Some21:31people are married and they still are in21:33pride and and ego. So, this has nothing21:35to do with sexuality. This has21:37everything to do with heart posture,21:38right? People go to church and still21:40trust themselves more than Christ.21:41That's just as bad. So, it's not the21:43lifestyle issue, sis. Do you understand?21:46But, everybody has to have a place where21:49Jesus touches their wound and although21:51it hurts, are we willing to let him Lord21:53over that wound? Are we running back to21:55him or are we accessorizing him? This is21:58what you we have to feel in our hearts.22:00We have to be honest here, right? And22:02that's what it is at the end of the day.22:03And I agree with you, he is working on22:05you. I believe that he will give you the22:07heart to do whatever it is that's fit22:09for you. Don't condemn yourself, right?22:11The message here is not focusing on the22:13on the, you know, on being gay or that's22:16not what we're focused on. Where is your22:18heart? What are we clinging on to that22:20we still want control over? If we claim22:22Jesus as our Lord, meaning our22:24controller, our master, and our savior,22:26meaning he saves us from, what are we22:27not letting off to him, right? And I say22:30this because when I'm speaking to you,22:31John 3:17 pops up. For God sent not his22:34son into the world to condemn the world,22:36but though that the world through him22:37might be saved. Through him. So, this22:40isn't for condemnation. This has nothing22:42to do with sexuality. I hope you you can22:44understand hear what I'm saying here. He22:46came to save you though, sis. And when22:48he saves you, he doesn't just come up to22:50clean up your habits. What does he want?22:52The full you, your heart. Make sense?22:55So, don't let people make you shift your22:57trajectory to I got to clean myself up22:59before coming to Jesus. No, just come to23:02Jesus and then let his word be lord over23:06the areas and the places that you're23:07trying to protect still. That's what it23:09comes down to at the end of the day,23:10sis. Understand? So, it's And we all23:13struggle with that. All of us here, it23:15may not be with sexuality, but it's with23:17other stuff. But I don't want to let my23:19kids up though. Same thing. It's the23:21same same scripture, right? What you got23:23to give it up to? No, I don't want to23:24though. Well, I struggle with that.23:27Well, give that up to me. No, I'm good.23:28I don't want to. I just want to maintain23:30it so that other people can see what I23:32like everyone has this heart, right? So,23:34so again, I hope you can take it as that23:36cuz we're not that type of community23:38where it's like, "Oh, you know, like I23:39have to I I can't make things23:40permissible according to the Bible, but23:42I can also make it heart posture."23:44That's the most important thing. We have23:46to bring it back to what does the heart23:47say? And what does what does the Bible23:49say about our hearts? What does he want23:51from us? He wants our hearts. You guys23:53understand what I'm saying, right? So,23:55for anyone who's, you know, struggling23:57with that or or judging that community,23:59that's not what we're supposed to do,24:01right? And we need to genuinely stop24:03over like obsessing like hell of24:05churches do over one sin more than the24:08other. The unforgivable sin is not being24:10gay, by the way. The unforgivable sin is24:12blasphemy. Make sense? But people love24:15to obsess over one thing. "Well, he's24:18he's a drug addict. That's wrong." You24:21know what I mean? It's like,24:23"But you're prideful and you're24:24judgmental and that's wrong, too. And24:26just as wrong." A prideful person is24:28going to go to, you know, the same hell24:31that a a thief24:33uh is going to go to. Make sense? Like,24:35it doesn't matter. Thank you, pastor.24:37You're right. Hit it on spot. I do still24:39have trouble trusting in areas and I'll24:40reflect on that. Thank you. I feel such24:42relief and yes, my heart posture is24:43going more and more. Amen. Amen. So,24:45like I said, whatever person that tells24:47you right now you need to cut this and24:48that's BS. You just have to flip that on24:51the Have you cut out every single sin in24:52your life? Well, I try. No, it doesn't24:54say try. It says do. So, don't tell me24:56what to do, right? And I'm not saying24:58this out of pride. You have to24:59understand who actually cares about like25:01me as a servant, I care about your heart25:03because God has given us that heart to25:05care about your hearts. I don't want you25:07to to turn away from God, but I also25:08don't want you to accessorize God25:10because that's also in a form turning25:12away from him, right? It's like a25:14marriage that people stay together just25:16cuz the kids are there or they have kids25:17with them. Like although they're there25:19physically, their heart isn't even in it25:21anymore. Do you understand? So, what I25:23really want here is I want you guys to25:26have a true relationship with God. Make25:28sense?25:29Um I want you guys to not not just show25:32up and be just bodies that fill pews and25:34I want you guys to genuinely be like,25:36"Hey, I want to have a relation I have a25:38I can confidently say I have a25:39relationship with God." And we all25:41struggle. We all struggle with whatever25:43it is. That That's not what's going to25:44stop you from being close to God. What's25:46going to stop you from being close to25:48God is you becoming God and trying to be25:50like God and then competing with God.25:52That's the issue here, right? My sister25:54doesn't want to believe because she25:56can't stand the idea that being gay is a25:58sin. I don't want to close her heart and25:59I don't know what to answer. Is that a26:01heart posture problem? Well, you don't26:02have to answer her though because the26:04deeper rooted issue is not why are26:06people gay and you know, that that's26:09surface level, right? You have to also26:10do a little bit of a heart posture read.26:12The issue with your sister is flat out26:14and you don't have to say this to her.26:15This is just for you to know so you can26:18understand. It's an observation. Anybody26:20who questions God, just so you know,26:22thinks they're better than God. I don't26:23care how you spin it. I don't care if26:25they're they they put it in a nice way.26:26Anyone who questions God, straight up26:28thinks they're better than God. That's26:30just what it is. Do you understand what26:32I'm saying? Because if you're truly not26:34understanding, like when I took my car26:36to the mechanic and the mechanic said,26:37"Hey Johnny, your left tail light is26:39out." Make sense, right? And I sit there26:41and I go, "No, it's not. It's the It's26:43the head gasket. You need to check the26:44head gasket." I would not say that26:47because he's a mechanic. He understands.26:49This is a specialty. Make sense,26:51brothers and sisters? But if I sit there26:53and I go, "No, I think so." then at26:54least I'm now using my own26:56interpretation, my own experience, my26:57own perspective. In a sense, I feel as27:00though I know better than them. That's27:02why when you go to a doctor, you go to a27:03mechanic, you tell them. Obviously,27:05they're understanding, like God's27:06understanding, right? Some doctors, they27:08understand. But most doctors will be27:10like, "Hey, like I've been doing this27:12for years. I know what it is." Like my27:14dad, for example, he met with the doctor27:16and my dad had close to a heart attack.27:18He had like 200 blood pressure. It was27:20bad. He was he was having tightness in27:22his chest. And my dad insisted that it27:24was because he worked a little too hard27:26that day. But my dad has been sleeping27:28at 2:00 a.m. He's been drinking a lot of27:30sweets. He he gained like 40 45 lbs.27:34He's 72 years old. That's like not good27:36for him. So immediately, obviously, it's27:38not like he's 30 anymore, right? His27:41blood pressure shot up. And he was27:43really on the verge of like dying,27:45legit. And so I didn't know this. I'm27:48over here like, "Damn, you're getting27:49bigger." But it's like you know, my dad27:50kind of hides his weight pretty well,27:52right? And so God helped him with that.27:54But when he got there, on the phone he27:56was telling me, "Johnny, you know, this27:58doctor is saying I have high blood27:59pressure, but I don't like eat28:00deep-fried foods." And I'm just like,28:02"Dad, he's the doctor."28:04Like right there I had to check him.28:05Understand? God. Dad, he's not he you're28:08not God and and you're God is letting28:09this happen. Please listen. And it was28:11hard for him. No, but when I was young I28:14you started saying I ginseng and you28:16know, I I I've never had to go to the28:17doctor and blah.28:19I'm like, "Dad, that's again your28:21interpretation." And so I kept it real28:24with him. I said, "Dad, do you not trust28:26the doctor?" And you know what my my dad28:28straight up said, what I which I love.28:30"Oh, you know, Western medicine, Johnny,28:31is not as good as Eastern medicine." He28:33kept it real. He's like, "You know, they28:35all they do is they give a pill for28:36everything. They don't have it." But28:38what was my dad's heart posture? But you28:39ain't even qualified to help me. The28:41same guy who sent to save him, to help28:44him, qualified. But in my opinion,28:46though, respectfully, you're not. So, he28:49he straight-up told the doctor, "What28:50are you going to do? Just give me28:51pills?" And he did. He had to give him28:52blood-thinning pills. He had to give28:54them pills to lower his heart rate. And28:56but, he's like, "See See, Johnny? I told28:57you all they want to do is give me28:58pills." I said, "Dad, you either take29:00these pills or you die. It's up to you.29:03You're arguing semantics right now." And29:05I told him, I went into pastor mode.29:07"Dad, you think you're better than these29:09people? If you were, why the hell would29:11you allow your your you to gain weight29:1240 Oh, it's cuz I'm old, you know, my29:14metab olism. Exactly. So, then why did29:16you continue doing that?" In this29:18predicament, my dad was able to bend his29:20heart. He saw that I was getting29:21serious.29:22He goes, "What? Is Dad being stubborn?"29:24That's what he asked me. Of course. Dad,29:27if you don't take this, you're going to29:28die. Do you Do you understand that,29:30right? So, my dad, without telling me,29:32for 1 week straight didn't take the29:33pills. And he said that he would feel29:35that chest compression constantly. I was29:37like, "You're freaking crazy." But, this29:39is what happens. And then, he had to go29:41back again to the hospital. Then, he was29:44like, "Okay. Okay, I'm I'm done."29:47Right? This is how stubborn people are,29:49though. Is that one thought and that one29:51perspective of I have a great worldview.29:54I know my worldview. That's what's29:55actually causes people to literally die,29:57right? So, my dad was was kind of, you30:00know, in this this heart of um I know30:03what I know.30:05I've been on this earth longer than the30:06this doctor. The doctor, I think, was30:08like in in their 40s. And so, when you30:10think about that worldview, right? It30:13makes sense. If you really think about30:15it. I've never had to go to the doctor,30:16which he's right. He's never been to the30:18doctor, and he's 72 years old. Like,30:20he's never been to the doctor in30:22America. Right? He's drank all his life,30:25floated his liver, pretty much, up until30:27just recently.30:28And then, never really had any health30:30issues. Uh was super strong, super30:32athletic. My dad, honestly, like I mean,30:35he's old now, but up until I could30:36remember, like, 40s, maybe even close to30:3950, he had like a six-pack. So, my dad30:42was very always like healthy in a way,30:44right? He would work out a lot. He was30:46just like that type of dude. And so in30:48his mind, I can completely logically30:51understand why he would choose what he30:55thought cuz it was working for him until30:57it wasn't anymore though.30:59Right? And so he's like, "Yeah, I I31:00don't trust these doctors. I don't31:01trust, you know, Western medicine cuz31:04all it is is you take one pill and then31:06there's no spiritual, you know,31:08medical free lunch. You take this one31:10pill here and it's going to mess up your31:12your liver here and it's going to mess31:13up your kidneys here and mess up your31:14brain here. Like I'm good, right?" So he31:17in logically speaking, was he right? He31:20was. But he would die if he didn't do31:23that. Understand? He and then it took31:25him the second time to fall and go,31:27"Holy moly, this is real." Right? And he31:30goes, he takes it, levels out his blood31:32pressure, loses My dad I think has lost31:3515 lb now. He's like now getting31:38healthier, right? And so I always kind31:40of joke with him, "Hey Dad, like those31:43pills that they saved your life though."31:45He's like, "Yeah. Yeah, they did, you31:47know, it's true. Like dang, I can't31:48believe I was that stubborn Johnny to31:50think." He's like, "You know, your dad31:51almost died." I was like, "I know. I was31:54I was telling you that." He's like, "No,31:55but did you know that I almost died?31:57Like what would you do if I died, you31:58know?" Blow and I was just like He's32:00like, "Yeah, I know. I know. I am32:02stubborn, you know, but I couldn't see32:03it Johnny. I You got to understand." And32:05I'm like, "That's true." He's like, "My32:06dad never took like in Chinese medicine32:09like that herbal stuff, they could check32:11your tongue. They can check your pulse.32:12We have acupuncture. We have These32:14things work, you know? But then not in32:17the way that like I've like overloaded32:19my body to the point where I can't32:20handle that and I'm older now. It's like32:22difficult, you know?" I was like,32:23"Right, but you notice how that one32:25thought could have led you to life or32:26death. That's how it is with spiritual32:28life too." He's like, "That's so true."32:30I started talking about his friend. His32:32friend's like on his deathbed still32:34rejecting God. Well, this isn't God. If32:35it's if it is God, I'm going to go to32:37hell then cuz you know God is horrible32:39and you know he he he let me here and32:41and he made me blind cuz he has diabetes32:44and he became blind in one of his eyes.32:46And he's like he made me blind and he32:47messed me up and they're trying to32:49amputate my my foot part of my foot32:51because of the It's like but and my32:53dad's like whoa, that's my friend. So I32:55have the same heart as him. Like we're32:57literally the same. If I dilate this, so32:59be it. The God wouldn't allow this. So33:01he's on his deathbed. Even death is not33:03is not stopping his heart. Right? It's33:05hardening it if anything. And so in this33:08way, you're able to kind of recognize33:10like oh my gosh, it really is like33:13logic. That's the problem with logic is33:15like you're so logical and to the point33:18where you're illogical because33:19everything has to filter through you33:20now, right? And so it's it's very33:22difficult to to reach people like that.33:25Nobody told you that faith would come33:27with this many unanswered questions. You33:29pray, you read, you fast, you tithe and33:31yet you're still not growing. But there33:33are things that you're still carrying33:35that you haven't said out loud to33:36anybody. Not because the answer doesn't33:38exist, but because you don't know who to33:40ask. That's exactly why every Tuesday I33:42do a group mentorship session. You bring33:45your questions and whatever you've been33:46sitting on, whether it's a decision you33:48can't make, past trauma you're still33:50working through, or a relationship33:51that's draining you. And I answer them33:53scripturally, foundationally, with33:55biblical truths that meet you exactly33:57where you are. Even if you're not ready33:59to ask a question yet, come and listen34:02in because chances are somebody else in34:04that room is carrying the same weight34:06you are. It doesn't matter if you're new34:07in faith or you've been walking with God34:09for many years. No question is too34:11small, too messy, or even too34:13complicated. The group mentorship is an34:15exclusive benefit for gold members only.34:17To join, download Core 4 Daily or use34:20the link in the description. I'll see34:21you guys Tuesday. So I went and I34:23visited him a couple weeks ago and you34:26know, he's like my godfather basically.34:28He was like just like my dad, you know,34:30very alcoholic, very stubborn, very34:33gangster with it. He straight up asked34:35me, like, "Do you really believe the god34:38stuff that you're you're you're talking34:39about? Like, do you genuinely believe he34:41can really heal people? Like, don't we34:44still have to make a choice, though,34:45right?" He literally said that. He's34:47just like, "Isn't it important, right,34:50to kind of think for yourself?" Like,34:52basically, he was in a in a in a way34:54like sneak this in me.34:57Right? Like, you you have your own34:58brain, Johnny. Like, you need to also35:00think,35:01you know? And the one thing I said to35:02him, which which I didn't mean to, but35:04it got him angry.35:05I said, "But, if you take your own35:08advice, why would you end up in this35:10situation?" I said it like that because35:12my Mandarin is35:13it's good, but it's not in a way that I35:16don't know how to be softer with it.35:18Where in English, it's easier, right?35:20But, my Mandarin is not as good as my35:22English. So, I'm like, "Dang, the only35:23way I can say it is like, 'Anyway,35:25shuma?'" which means like, "Why then35:27would you end up this way?" That's kind35:29of how it is, right? And he's like, "Uh"35:33and he froze. And you know what he said?35:35Cuz he got angry. He goes, "I'm I'm35:38feeling a little bit tired. I'll see you35:40guys later." Like, basically, dismissed35:42us. But, it's weird. It's weird when35:44like35:45logical people, you use logic with them,35:49then they don't like that.35:51Do you understand? Like, they can use35:52logic, but when you use logic, "Oh, I35:54don't agree with that worldview, though.35:55I don't agree with this specifically. I35:57don't really You know, I don't think35:58so."35:59It's like, "But, I just used your own36:01logic against you. And why is it that36:03you can't accept it when I do that to36:04you? And why is it that you have to36:06twist me up and say that I said this,36:08you know?" Or why is it like, in his36:10case, did you have to recluse? He36:11recluse completely, right? He's like,36:14"I'm good, you know?" But, this is not36:16someone I wanted to fight with. I was36:18just I genuinely just wanted to say What36:20I really wanted to say was, "Hey, if you36:22really think about it, Unc, like36:24the decisions that we made were based36:26off of logic. Could you say that every36:28single decision you made was a good36:29decision? Right, that's what I wanted to36:31say, but how it came out was36:34"Well, why would you end up like this if36:35you're logical? Shouldn't you have not36:37ended up like this?" And he, of course,36:39had no rebuttal because, right? And then36:41he texts my dad later cuz they always do36:44this. Logical people, they they gather36:45their thoughts and then they, you know,36:47"Hey, the reason why I'm not Christian36:49is because of people like Johnny."36:51That's what he said.36:52He's like, "You know, also with you,36:53bro, I've seen you. I hope that you can36:55also, you know, focus on thinking about36:58for yourself because we are our own37:00gods. At the end of the day, we have to37:02make a decision. You don't just pray and37:03then healing comes. You don't just pray37:05and then money falls out the sky. You37:07still got to work. So, your son is kind37:08of teaching people to be lazy." He37:10straight up said that. Right? And37:12logical people will read this and go,37:15"Hmm, he he has a point."37:17Understand? But that comes from a pain37:19point, though.37:20He didn't He wouldn't say that to me37:22if I was all nice to him and buttered37:24him up. You understand? That's the37:26problem with people, right? That's the37:28issue with people. If you don't exalt37:30me, I'm going to blow it blow it up in37:32your face, right? If you don't make me37:34feel smart, then you're my enemy, right?37:36Forget all the other stuff you did. You37:38did that cuz you're fake. Like they37:39don't It's never them that has a37:41problem. It's never like, "You know37:43what? Johnny's right. I used logic my37:45whole time my whole life. I'm in my 70s37:48as well, and where has it led me?37:50Complainful in a on my deathbed." Right?37:53And he always talks about it. I regret37:54cuz he doesn't have any kids. "I regret37:56having a kid. Oh, man, you know, our who37:58our who," which means like, you know,38:00gangster, right? To to my to my dad.38:02"You at least got two kids, you know,38:04they take care of you. Man, I don't have38:05nobody to take care of me. That's why38:06you in your 70s got to come and see me.38:08And man, you about to be right here next38:10to me." Like he jokes, but it's like,38:12"If you're logical, why do you have38:13regret?" And what? You're going to make38:15a illogical excuse? "Well, everybody has38:17regret." That's not true. You're going38:19to generalize, which isn't logic. Make38:21sense? It's only logical cuz it works38:23for them. As soon as you flip it on38:25them, oh no, I don't I have my excuses.38:27Oh, you can't say that. And you don't38:28touch the part that I don't want to38:29expose and get angry.38:31Right? So, with that being said, you we38:33also have to understand, you know, that38:35people's hearts aren't aren't really38:36ready, right? There's still really good38:38Chinese herbalist and acupuncture38:39acupressure roller knives. It still38:41really helps just to ask both Of course,38:43of course. But, you're missing the point38:44of the heart posture, sis. Make sense?38:47If my father has that heart and he goes38:48to the Chinese herbalist and the38:49herbalist, let's say, wants his money,38:51then he's going to they're going to be38:52like, you don't need that. Just take38:53these herbs. And then what happens if my38:55dad dies? Right? It's it's basically38:57like it was like life and death. He had38:59to literally go to the ER. It stopped39:01him, right? So, he's like, oh, and then39:04they stabilized him and then make sense,39:06right? So, I'm talking about the heart39:08posture here. Of course, of course,39:09right? And I know that you're trying to39:10help me out with that, but I'm I'm I'm39:12just letting you know, like he it was39:14the spiritual lesson here is not about39:16maintaining the body. The spiritual39:18lesson here is literally he had to go39:21through the stubbornness to see the39:22unlock. And then now my dad is just39:24eating more healthy. He's looking at39:25more organic things. Like this is what39:27had to change for my father. Makes39:29sense? Of course, he has to go and check39:30up check out his health. And of course,39:32he has to do that. But, what I'm saying39:33is like that in itself is not going to39:36actually help him. If he had the heart39:38of like going to the Chinese herbalist,39:41it would make him more like solidified39:43actually, right? So, that's why I think39:45God worked so perfectly. I didn't know39:47he was having issues like that. No one39:49knew. He didn't talk about his health.39:51He sits there and he does those types of39:53things. Right? And so, he realized that39:55and God had to reveal that to him. Like,39:57hey, you think you know?39:59For some reason, even though you're 72,40:00I want to break that stubborn heart40:01today. And he did. So, he had to kind of40:04go through those things, which was40:05really beautiful. Right? And he would40:07say that, I never thought that I would40:09ever have a heart attack or close to a40:10heart attack. I never thought that I40:12would feel that pressure. He's like, you40:13know, I felt like I was going to die.40:15And right? Like, I never thought that.40:17And that that was the deeper unlock that40:20that brought real healing to him, right?40:22More than more than the idea of that,40:24right? So, yeah. So, when I talk about40:26logical things,40:27um usually logic Like, if I talk about40:30anything that's stru that people40:32struggle with, like logic or, you know,40:35ego or pride, in real time, those things40:37always pop up. Like, people will also40:40it'll trigger certain people. Make40:42sense? So, I'm not saying that with you,40:44sister, but I'm just saying like, if40:46we're being overly good, the message40:48here is not about that. The message here40:50is more of what is God used to help our40:53hearts grow more than anything, right?40:56It's not just being healthy. Right, of40:58course he has to be healthy. Like,40:59that's important, and he has been, which41:01is great. I'm sure he goes to Chinese41:02herbalist, too, and acupuncture and all41:04that. But, what he saw wasn't the lesson41:07of, "Hey, you need to be healthier."41:09What he saw was, "Oh my gosh, my41:11worldview is tainted, and I think it's41:13right." And I thought it was right up41:15until 72, and God said, um like he did41:17with Abraham, "Get up and move out of41:18your your country." Basically, get out41:21of your comfort zone, right? So, that's41:23what the deeper lesson was here, right?41:25But, this will41:27affect our good. That's the problem.41:29Make sense? Right? It's just kind of41:31hard, right? Manolo, respectfully, bro,41:34I don't think you're really here to41:35listen to message to the message, you41:37know? So,41:38what you're not understanding here is,41:41logically speaking, obviously it's not a41:44bad thing to have logic, right? So,41:46notice how I said, "When I talk about41:47logic, it'll trigger certain people." At41:50all the things that I'm talking about,41:51that's what you picked up on. Because in41:53your heart, you think about logic. Make41:55sense? So, if you think about logic,41:57just that's fine. You can use your41:59logic. I'm just saying, respectfully,42:02though, we we went through this already.42:04Like, you're trying to use logic without42:07understanding heart posture. I'm talking42:08directly about the heart posture, which42:10is going over your head. It's42:11interesting that when I'm talking about42:14this, like I said, in real time, the42:16people who are good, the people who42:18think they understand, always speak up.42:20Make sense? Like I like I just said I42:22prefaced it with that, right? You've42:24been in here, I don't know how long, but42:26this whole time I've been talking about42:27this, and just that one point brings us42:30up. And then logically, because you have42:31distrust already,42:33you're going to think, "Oh, he's maybe42:35skirting the question. Maybe he's doing42:36this. May I don't think I'm good."42:38You're going to do this, right? Like you42:39like you just did right now.42:41Right? You do think you understand. Cuz42:43why would you even question?42:45Make sense? Cuz look at how you're42:46leading the question. Look, I'll show42:48you your heart posture. Watch. Johnny,42:49when you convinced your father to trust42:51a doctor, didn't you use logic as well?42:53I didn't convince him to trust a doctor.42:56So, that's where you're wrong. You're42:57right, you don't understand. But look at42:59what the statement you made. I Did you43:00just hear what I said? My my dad didn't43:02listen to me.43:04Understand? He actually went against for43:06a whole week. Did you listen to what I43:07said? If you're not even listening, how43:10are you then questioning what I'm43:11saying? So, we'll build off of that.43:13Didn't you use logic as well? Again, you43:16interpreted what I said, but you didn't43:17hear what I was saying. Because his43:19logic, {quote} unquote, was more like43:21faith in oriental medicine, or lack of43:23faith on the western medicine side,43:25right? But you didn't even hear what I43:27was saying. He also has disproportionate43:30beliefs towards even eastern medicine,43:33too. He thinks the ginseng isn't as43:35good, which I didn't share, as 20, 30,43:3840 years ago. He thinks has been43:40commercialized commercialized. He talks43:42about it coming from Wisconsin, right?43:44He has friends who are herbalists,43:46right? These are details that I left43:47out. But why specifically? Because the43:50the issue is not about that. Huh. The43:52issue is, where is his heart posture?43:54His heart posture is exactly where yours43:56is at. If it makes sense to me, I'll43:58believe it. If it doesn't make sense to44:00me, that's not faith. That's faith in44:02yourself, sure. That's logic in44:04yourself, but true logic, biblically44:07speaking, comes from the wisdom of God.44:09It literally says in 1 Corinthians 1:24.44:12But you you don't believe, right? Like44:13you say, so you you're going to only use44:15your own logic. That's why I don't44:16understand why you can speak up if you44:18don't know any Like if I'm sitting here44:19and I don't know about being a doctor44:22and I don't know about, you know, uh the44:24Bible. I don't know about being a44:26barber. I'm not going to talk about44:27those things. I won't even ask. I'll44:29just listen. Make sense? But the issue44:31is here it goes again where we go this44:33back and forth, right? So, I'm just44:34going to let you know one one thing,44:35right? When I'm sharing a story, if44:38you're truly a person who doesn't44:39understand what I'm sharing about44:41something as deep as my father44:43struggling with certain things, and the44:45thing you pick up on is the logical44:46thing, which then weaves for you and for44:48your benefit, then what happens is44:51you're not really caring about my father44:53and the things that I'm sharing about,44:55right? Which proves that you don't44:56understand. Amen?44:58Right? But you have to then look at45:00yourself. Like where is the morality in45:02that? There is none. So, don't argue45:04from a point of morality or logic. Cuz45:07you're not even logical, right? Number45:08one, number two, people think like they45:11can understand things that I'm speaking.45:14Like I said though, if you're not even45:15believing, I make it very clear, right?45:17We don't even have the same foundation.45:19So, if45:20of course you're going to ask those45:21questions, right? And like I just45:23prefaced it, I said every time I talk45:25about this type of stuff,45:27people who are logical get bent, right?45:29Like if you talk about a woman, a45:31feminist will get bent. It doesn't even45:33have to be, right? It doesn't even have45:35to be disrespectful. If it's anything45:38that they feel like they're good at and45:39they have an understanding, they're45:40going to speak up, right? Just like what45:42Vanessa did, where she There's a good45:44heart in her because her grandma passed45:45away. At least she's trying to be on the45:47ethical and moral side, which is great.45:49But still missing the lesson of the key45:51here. Understand? Which is heart posture45:55is the most important thing, which is45:57what I've been harping on. But people45:58don't care about that. They're too45:59surface-level, respectfully. And I'm not46:01trying to be mean. That's just the46:02truth. And then they argue back, "Well,46:04no, I'm just telling you cuz I46:05understand in my point and my valid-"46:07I'm talking about heart posture and46:09scripture. You're talking about your46:10validation, your experiences. No one46:12cares about that, respectfully. Right?46:14Be logical. If you're going to be46:15logical, be logical 100%. It doesn't46:16matter about perspective and46:17experiences. Logic is purely data. So,46:20prove it with that. Don't sit there and46:22tell me, you understand? Like, it it46:24doesn't it doesn't even make sense. It's46:25so That's why I said it's logical so46:27logical that it's illogical. You guys46:29got that, right?46:30Right? Understand? So, if you guys want46:32to go deeper with the Bible unlocks and46:35just having these biblical resources,46:36guys, we created an app called Core of46:38the Heart Daily. So, it will answer your47:01questions when you don't have that47:02pastor at 2:00 a.m. in the nighttime and47:04you're spiraling. And check it out,47:06guys. If you want to download it, it's47:07on the App Store called Core of the47:08Heart Daily. Link is in the description.47:11Back to the episode. So, yeah. That's a47:13good question, right? I got in late, so47:15not sure if this was said already. Who47:17changes heart posture, word or our47:19Father himself? Well, the word is God,47:21right? John 1:1. So, notice how I'm not47:24using logic or experience or perspective47:28to explain. Notice that, right? I'm47:29giving you scripture. John 1:1. It47:31literally says, "In the beginning was47:32the word, and the word was with God, and47:34the word was God." Right? Make sense?47:37And then John 1:14, not the Father, but47:39Jesus, "And the word was made flesh and47:41dwelt among us. And we beheld his glory,47:44the glory as of the only begotten of the47:46Father, full of grace and truth." So,47:48that's what changes the heart posture.47:50Is the word, scripture. In essence, you47:53can say it is God because Jesus is God.47:55So, if we logically link that together,47:58it makes sense, right? So, it's like48:00that, right? At the end of the day. So,48:03again, it's important to just recognize48:06that nowhere in this world, if you're48:08unstudied,48:10are you allowed to even really like48:12question? There's truth seeking and then48:14there's trap setting, as I say, right?48:17Truth seeking is always encouraged. Seek48:19the truth. But, if you're not even like48:21studied or you don't understand how to48:24do those things and you just want to48:25hear perspectives and then judge48:26perspectives, this isn't the platform to48:28do so, guys. There's 700 hundred of us48:30in here, right? The thing cannot be me,48:34who's don't have faith, let's say, who48:37has my own heart posture, who has my own48:39filter, who has my own traumas, right?48:41Who's imperfect, then be the judge,48:43right? To then get myself out of this48:46imprisonment of depression, loneliness,48:49anxiety. The same mind that built the48:51prison cannot be the same mind that gets48:52you out of the prison. You guys48:54understand?48:55Right? But, that's that's where people48:57fall. I don't think I'm good. I don't48:59think I understand. Then, why are you49:00speaking? It's it's genuinely the truth,49:03though.49:04Oh, I'm not trying to tell you how to do49:05your job, mechanic, but I think it's the49:07it's isn't it the head gasket? Cuz as49:09per what you're saying, when it49:10overheats, doesn't the head gasket49:12affect that? It's not the radiator.49:14I've done that before, where I try to go49:16on forums and research. I had a BMW one49:18time and it had a lot of issues with the49:20head gasket. It was a E39, a 5 series.49:22And I went to this guy and the guy said,49:24"Hey,49:25just so you know, thank you. I got the49:26reminder. Just so you know, Johnny, this49:29is a a head gasket issue." And right49:32there, do you know what I thought? I49:34didn't know anything, but because I49:35researched and I read online that49:37someone said, "Be careful. They may lie49:39to you. It could be the radiator, which49:41will cost $200, but the head gasket is49:43$1,800."49:45So, I argued with the dude. I said,49:47"Hey, respectfully, bro, like, can you49:49check the radiator?" He said, "Hey, I49:51did check the radiator." No, but I49:52didn't see you check it though. And it's49:54true cuz I didn't see him check it. He49:56goes, "Johnny, there's a way that you49:57can do it where we we pressure test the50:00block, and I'm telling you right now,50:01it's your your head is warped, right?50:04You drove it when it was redline, you50:06shouldn't have done it, it warped the50:07head."50:08And I was like, man, I'm cool. And I was50:09mad because I towed my car to that that50:12place.50:13So, what did I do? I then spent more50:15money to tow the car, I didn't have AAA50:16at that time, towed it to another50:18person. And guess what the other person50:20said? The same exact thing. Right? Hey,50:23just so you know, your head is warped.50:24It's going to cost here actually $2,200.50:27$2,200, why? Well, because you have to50:30fully dismantle the engine, take the50:32head off, right? He's trying to explain50:34it to me. But what was I motivated by?50:36Did I sit there and go, I understand, I50:38don't understand? No, I should have been50:39thankful to the $1,800 person person,50:41right? Cuz he literally was sitting50:43there and telling me what it was. But50:45you know what I felt? Do you know what I50:47felt cuz I was immature? I didn't go50:49back to that person even though he was50:50$400 cheaper. Why? Because I was50:53wronged. That would then make me look50:55stupid, and I didn't want to acknowledge50:57that. So, what I did was, I tried to cut50:59this guy's price to 1,800.51:01And I used logic and my emotion, and I51:04said, "Hey, bro, it's 2,200, it should51:06be 1,800, bro, like this other guy." And51:08you know what he told me? "Why don't you51:09just go to the other guy?" He flipped51:10the logic on me, and I got mad at him.51:12But you know why I got mad? Because he51:13exposed the fact that I couldn't go back51:15to him. And then I I got frustrated with51:18him. So, deep down, understand? That's51:21what we do to even here. Make sense? So,51:24when when I tell you guys heart posture,51:26I understand it's because I've been51:27there. This isn't a logical thing.51:29Scripturally speaking, God says, "When51:31you think about the past, you are to51:33think about other people greater than51:34you because your past has made you51:35worse, right?" But people don't care51:37about that. So, we have to focus very51:39clear about one thing. I'm a person who,51:43if I'm getting frustrated because51:44somebody is telling me the truth, that51:46just means that I'm not ready for the51:47truth. You guys understand?51:49So, like that head gasket issue, I51:51didn't go back to the dude and I ended51:54up, you know, 2,200, right? And I had to51:57fork out $400 because of my pride. What52:00an idiot. Logically speaking, how stupid52:02is that? But do you think I'm telling52:04you guys just to tell this about me? For52:06this is for you guys to reflect and go,52:08"Dude, that's me." I know you guys go52:11into other DMs and talk about what I say52:13right here.52:14Oh, Johnny's not, you know, I don't52:15think he was right. You know, I was52:16genuinely just looking for him like for52:18advice, bro. Like he he popped off on52:20me. Like we do that. Do you know why?52:22Because you're not exalted. I've been52:23there, too. But if you truly believe52:26what you say you are and what the Bible52:27says you are, which is dirt and we don't52:30we deserve, you know, only death cuz52:31logically speaking, what's going to52:33happen in 100 years? None of us are52:35going to be here. Why? Why is it that we52:37don't we're not blessed more than 10052:39years? We're not blessed with a house.52:41Not everyone has a house. Not everyone52:42has a spouse. Not everyone has kids.52:44Some of you guys have tried in vitro and52:46all these things and it doesn't work52:47out. Logically speaking, it should, high52:49probability, etc., but God's like,52:50"Nope, I'm not going to let you." But52:52why is it that in 100 years none of us52:54will be here? Because that's what we52:55deserve. So, do you really believe that52:57though? Right? Do you actually believe52:59that? Logical people will say they're53:01logical, but they don't believe that53:02though. They're still trying to argue53:03and fight and go, "I don't agree with53:04you, God. I don't agree with this."53:06That's that's not even logical. Why do53:07we die in 100 years? Well, the Bible53:09said we used to live forever and then53:11Adam and Eve messed up. But because you53:13don't believe and it's not logical to53:14you, somehow you're going to use your53:16own logic to justify the sin and then be53:18like, "Well, that doesn't make sense.53:20We're just natural, you know, hearts53:22fail and things break and whatever." But53:24there was a time where they it didn't53:25though, right? We just didn't do the53:26research. So, again, that's why I said53:29like you can't use the same keys, the53:32same mind that built the prison to then53:34use it to manufacture a key to get out.53:37You got yourself there through your53:38logic. How about we just use a little53:40bit of faith? Because faith and logic,53:42they don't exist. You cannot explain to53:44me logically how a man dies 2,000 years53:47ago and that somehow absolves all of my53:49sins past, present, and future. It53:50doesn't even make sense. You cannot53:52explain to me how a man dies, goes down53:54to the the the land of the dead, Sheol53:56Hades, and then rises in 3 days and53:59somehow his tomb is empty and it's54:00great. I'm sure you can make a logical54:02argument which so many people have done.54:04Well, they hid his body. You know, that54:06really wasn't Jesus on the cross. That54:07was Judas on the cross. That's what54:08Muslims believe. Right? It's like that54:10they you can make a logical fallacy54:12argument for everything. You can do54:14circular reasoning for everything. I54:16didn't see God and that's why I don't54:18believe. Until I see God, that's when54:19I'll believe. Right? The circular You54:21can do all of that. Sure, but it's still54:23you at the center of it. You, the same54:25person who's saying, "I'm still flawed54:27and I'm not good and I don't54:28understand." Sure.54:30You You say that.54:32But that low-key is like narcissistic. I54:34know I'm so wrong, but like why you keep54:36being a narcissist then? Well, because54:39it's like what are you talking about?54:40You don't really know. Right? We're just54:42saying that. You guys understand? Right?54:44And and and I'm sorry to say like it's54:46not about stubbornness or it's not about54:48pride. It just has to be said. If we54:51don't know what we're doing, our job is54:53to study, brothers and sisters. Our job54:55is not to challenge and not know the54:57foundation. Even that is not logical.54:59Understand?55:01Even that's not logical. The logic55:03should be if I don't know something, I55:05shouldn't stand up and question. I55:06should go and learn and find the answers55:08myself cuz God gave me a brain. Even if55:10God didn't give me a brain, logically55:12don't we have a brain? Can't we55:13research? Can't we grow? If we're not55:16doing that, then how is that even55:17logical? Amen, right? So like I said,55:21you you can't argue these points because55:23scripturally speaking, that's just what55:24it is.55:25Right? Take the Bible out of everything.55:27Which one of you guys will go and tell55:29Elon Musk, "No, the trajectory of Mars55:31is not 35° southwest." And the the first55:34thing he would ask is, "Are you an55:35astronomer? Are you Are you some No, but55:38you know, I read a couple Reddit posts55:40and I'm searching and I'm seeking and so55:42to me in my opinion, just so you know,55:44how do you know it's 30, you know,55:46right?55:47That you're already coming with the55:48heart of pride and a checkbox. And55:50remember guys, respectfully, you're only55:53going to listen to me until I don't make55:54it make sense for you. And I that's not55:56a believer anyways. Even logically55:58speaking, that's a transactional55:59relationship, right?56:02Even logically speaking, we sit there56:04and we're going if you make it make56:05sense to me, I love you. You edify me, I56:07love you. But if you don't, it's over56:09for you. Well, if that's the case,56:10you're not in here for a relationship56:12anyways. Then don't say you're searching56:13for God. Don't say that you're trying to56:15be a Christian. Don't say that.56:17Just be like, I'm trying to find a56:19worldview that fits my worldview. And it56:21it's cool if it's Christianity. If it56:23it's cool if it's Buddhism. It's cool if56:24it's anything else. It just needs to fit56:26me. Then don't get mad when people say56:28you're selfish and self-centered. And56:30that you're illogical. Because no one in56:32the world goes, this needs to fit me and56:34then that's what becomes a universal56:35truth. That's not even logical. Make56:38sense?56:39And this goes for everybody. Good56:40people, bad people, it's all the same.56:43In my opinion, in my belief, that56:44doesn't matter. Opinions change,56:46opinions are like waves, it says. It56:49comes and goes. High tide, low tide.56:51Right? If you're going to come for56:52absolute truth, you have to be be in a56:54standard outside of yourself. It's that56:56simple.56:57You got to get outside of yourself and56:59outside of your mind. You can't be the57:01lens, you can't be the filter. Like I57:02said, when I was getting locked up at57:04the age of 12, I didn't then put on the57:06judge's robe and go up there and go and57:08bang the gavel and go, "Case dismissed,57:10Johnny Chang."57:12Yes, he had RICO charges on him. Yes, he57:14was in California Youth Authority. But57:15in my opinion, he is a great kid. He's57:17only 12 years old. He shouldn't be going57:19to California Youth Authority where57:20there's literally kids raping kids,57:22uh COs murdering people, gladiator57:24school, etc.57:26Right? I then I should be able to do57:28that. And I should be able to get in57:29some back pay for all the years that I57:31lost for my freedom, the 13 years that I57:33did, right? Come on now, even that is57:35illogical.57:37But we do that with Christianity, don't57:39we?57:40Right? Crazy, huh? Crazy. Now go and57:43text other people and tell them how57:44Johnny's wrong.57:45All right, so you can be right. All57:47right, guys, take care of yourselves.57:48Bye, everybody. Peace.
