Unlearned Wisdom by Johnny Chang
0:00But a lot of people think being LGBTQ or0:03being gay is an unforgivable sin.0:05Scripturally speaking, the unforgivable0:08sin is so how would you define you being0:11a judge judging basically what the Holy0:14Spirit says as incorrect. What can God0:17do? Only two things. He can create0:18something out of nothing and he's the0:20judge. We're not the judge. People are0:22literally sinners judging other people0:24for sinning differently. If you're a0:25liar, you're going to go to the same0:26place as a thief. And the thief is going0:28to go to the same place as a serial0:30killer.0:30>> You're really comparing a murderer to a0:32liar.0:33>> Wait, can I ask you a question real0:34quick?0:35>> Yes.0:35>> Before we start the episode?0:36>> Yes. Yes. Jeremy,0:38>> so I was the watching the video of why0:40does God make gay people on YouTube? Do0:42you remember that? That girl came up and0:44she asked you the question.0:45>> Yep.0:45>> And one of the comments said,0:47>> "Can the church fix gay people?"0:49>> Dang. kind of like a very direct0:52question, but I was curious on your0:54question.0:54>> Two questions. Why were you watching0:56that video?0:59>> It's on your channel. Why do you have1:02that on your channel?1:04>> Nice try.1:04>> Why would you rewatch it? I'm just1:06kidding.1:06>> He refreshes every few days.1:09>> So, I think the reason why people ask1:11questions like that is because they1:12obsess over one sin more than other1:15sins. Right? When you look at the Bible,1:18sin is sin except for one unforgivable1:20sin. But a lot of people think being1:23LGBTQ or being gay is the unforgivable1:27sin. Scripturally speaking, the1:30unforgivable sin is blasphemy, right? So1:33that's that's it's in the Bible, right?1:35There all manner of sin is forgiven1:37except blasphemy against the Holy1:39Spirit.1:40>> What verse is that? So Matthew 12:31-321:43is the sin is the tells us that the1:46unforgivable sin is the blasphemy1:48against the Holy Ghost1:50>> which is how would you define blasphemy1:52like1:52>> you being a judge judging uh basically1:56what the Holy Spirit says as incorrect.1:59So in John chapter 10 the Pharisees come2:03to Jesus and then Jesus goes of what sin2:07do you stone me? And he goes of sin that2:10you've done. Not that you we stone you2:13because you did anything bad, but2:14because blasphemy of the Holy Ghost2:17where you make yourself God and2:19basically judge other things. Cuz what2:21can God do? Only two things that we2:23can't do that God can do. He can create2:25something out of nothing and he's the2:27judge. We're not the judge. So a true2:30blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is2:32basically I judge somebody sinning when2:36I'm also a sinner. That's why Jesus like2:38mentions you hypocrites, you whitewashed2:40tombs, you snakes, you wolves and2:42sheep's clothing is because it all ties2:45back to y'all are sinners judging other2:48people for sinning differently. And you2:50think you're not going to go to hell for2:51the same people that you're judging2:53their sin. That's bananas cuz they're2:55judging it. Basically what I'm saying is2:57a lot of people especially churches and3:00church people focus and overobsess on3:04one thing because you know sexuality3:07obviously it makes sense is tied into3:09identity. So they're sitting there3:10going, "Whoa, this is evil. This is3:12horrible." Right? But if you think about3:14a person who's smoking weed versus3:18someone who's like an unal alive3:20somebody, they both end up in the same3:22hell, right? According to the Bible, if3:24you're a person who continues to follow3:26yourself and follow sin, whatever sin it3:29is, you're going to end up in that one3:31place. This is for everybody. If you're3:33a liar, you're going to go to the same3:34place as a thief. And the thief is going3:36to go to the same place as a a guy who3:39who's a serial killer. And the serial3:41killer is going to go to the same place3:43uh where a guy disrespects his mom every3:45single day. Like it's just it's the same3:47thing, right? But we overobsess over one3:50sin because because of culture. And a3:52lot of people aren't focused on the3:53gospel. That's why. When you don't focus3:55on the gospel, you focus on winning3:57arguments, not winning souls. You focus3:59on debates. And that's the problem. So4:02people are literally sinners judging4:04other people for sinning differently.4:06Now I'm not saying that the the you know4:09these other people can do whatever they4:10want. I'm not saying that that's4:12permission. But if you're able to look4:14at yourself and go dude we need to stop4:16like fighting each other about4:17semantics. We need to actually start4:19focusing on Jesus Christ and the4:21identity that he gave us. Then there's4:23no argument. There's no I was born this4:26way. Oh, you need to change. There's4:27none of that. It's more of like, hey,4:29we're all stuck in this. Let's help each4:31other out to get each other out, right?4:34But that's not what's happening right4:35now. What's happening is4:37>> I'm better than you. Yes, I mess up, but4:39I'm holier than you because I don't4:41actively be doing that. Right? But you4:43ask the same person who's not actively4:44doing that if they're still a sinner.4:46And they will literally say, "Yes, of4:47course I'm a sinner." So, it doesn't4:48even make sense.4:50>> What about when they go, "Well, it's not4:52really a sin if I'm born this way or4:54this." You know, they don't believe in4:56the idea that it's sin.4:58>> Yeah. Well, I mean, that's why people4:59have to get aligned with God versus5:01aligned with self, right? I could say5:03the same thing about that, too. Like, a5:06sexuality aside, we could say, "Well,5:08I'm I'm crazy and I'm mental because I5:10had a horrible like upbringing, and if I5:12do that, like, I'm just going to I I5:14don't believe it's a problem. I didn't5:16ask God to deal mess. So, if I go and I5:18feel angry and I deal with people the5:20way I want to, like, that's too bad. I5:22was born that way. Like, I didn't ask,5:24you know, to be to have an alcoholic5:26father." Like then you'd have to make5:28that case in point for every single5:30thing, right? If someone is, let's say5:32even if someone was like, you know, uh5:36like let's say someone's 50 years old5:39and then they're like, I'm born this5:41way. I just like little girls. Like are5:43we going to make an argument for that?5:44Like,5:45>> oh yeah, oh hey, that love is love. Like5:48we're not going to do that. We're going5:49to be like, yo, what the hell? Hell no.5:51If two people consent, if the person is5:5316, another person's 50 years old, it5:55doesn't matter what they both consent5:57to, that person, that's statutory rape.5:58They're literally going to go to prison5:59for that. Right? So, where do we draw6:02the line? Right? So, that's why the line6:04is Jesus Christ.6:06>> It's literally focusing on the gospel6:08and going, "Hey, respectfully, it6:10doesn't matter what you think in your6:11standard is, we have to meet at one6:13standard because every standard is6:15subjective under Jesus Christ. The only6:17standard is the gospel." But that's why6:20this world is all messed up because they6:21don't care, right? If you don't care6:23about Jesus, then it's about you and6:25it's about you, you know, trusting6:27yourself. And again, what's good to a6:29gang member is not going to be the same6:31to a victim of that gang member. Like6:33that standard is going to be completely6:34different. I remember6:37um in prison when two detectives pulled6:39me out cuz I had one of my homies who6:41was literally like on on FBI's most6:43wanted list and they pulled it out and6:45they had pictures of me with him like my6:46arm over him like straight up clown.6:49>> You were like AI.6:50>> I was I was literally like that. I don't6:52know this guy. He's like really boom. He6:54slipped it out. I'm over here like this6:56with my hand on his freaking Oh my gosh.6:58It was so embarrassing. But during that7:00time7:01>> What did you say? But during that time7:02he said he said bro do the right thing.7:05In my head though snitching on my homie7:08is not the right thing. But this guy got7:10like seven or eight bodies. So anyone7:14anyone in the world would be like that7:17is the right thing. What are you talking7:18about? You got to you got to put this7:20guy you got to lock him up. But in my7:21head I was like but in my standard as a7:23as a homie as a gang member no I'm not7:25going to give him up. What the hell?7:26That's my homie. I seen him. I I would7:28die for him. I vouch for him. All that.7:30So again, where do you draw the line?7:32It's the same. It doesn't matter.7:34Sexuality aside, where do you draw the7:36line is with Jesus Christ. At that time,7:38I didn't have God. So I sat there and7:40was just like, too bad.7:42>> Yeah. Whatever your version of reality7:45was.7:46>> Yeah. And that's scary because that's7:48exactly what's happening in this world.7:50My version of reality is if you don't7:52validate me, then you're my enemy. It's7:55like, "No, we can have d No, we can't7:57have dialogue because you literally just7:58stepped on my my standards and you made8:00me feel less than and and you8:02emasculated me and now you're going to8:03have to pay for that." And that's what8:04happens with people versus if you sat8:06there and said, "Okay, forget what I8:08think. Forget what you think. What does8:10God who's truly good? Not my standard8:12and subjective good, not your standard8:13of subjective good, but like really what8:16does God say?" No one's going to do that8:18though. And the enemy has done a very8:19good job of going God sky daddy this guy8:22and that it doesn't matter what he says.8:24It matters what you think and what you8:25feel and you have choice. You got to8:27live like that. And that's how things8:29get broken.8:31>> So what does it mean to be truly fixed8:33from your sins? Because right I used8:37again similar I had my own moral8:39compass. I used to think oh like drugs8:41aren't so bad everything should be8:43legalized. XYZ, let people as long as8:46they're not hurting people, they should8:47be able to do whatever they want. You8:48know, I had that viewpoint.8:49>> Sure.8:50>> And you know, once I got saved, I was8:52like, okay, I'm righteous and perfected8:53now.8:54>> But I still sin, right?8:56>> Like I still do actions that are that go8:58against8:59>> symptoms of sin.9:00>> Yeah. Yeah. I So I guess it's like right9:02there, the definition just kind of9:04changed.9:05>> So what does it mean to be truly fixed9:07from sin if we continue to9:10>> unp what the definition would be sin?9:13For example, like if I walk out of this9:15room and then I go do drugs,9:17>> I've sinned, but like I know deep in my9:19heart that I'm still going to heaven and9:21I would still make it. Someone would go,9:23>> "No, you're not."9:23>> Yeah. Yeah. We're going down a rabbit9:25hole, right? But I'm just saying, what9:26does it mean to truly be fixed from your9:28sins? Then9:29>> to recognize that no sin is greater than9:31the savior. Number one, to recognize9:33that everybody needs the blood of Jesus9:35Christ. So if you're struggling with9:37something, that doesn't automatically9:39mean that you're a sinner. I would argue9:40in fact that if you're struggling with9:42something and there's resistance because9:44that's what's causing you to struggle9:46because if you didn't have Jesus as your9:49savior, why would you be struggling? You9:51would literally just indulge in those9:52things. I know a lot of people who don't9:54believe in Jesus and don't have him as a9:56center and as a standard and goes,9:58"What's wrong with me doing coke every10:00day?" I have a homie who literally till10:01this day still smokes crack and it's10:03like what? It's fine. Doesn't feel10:05anything bad about himself. Doesn't feel10:07it. genuinely will just literally be10:10doing that stuff.10:11>> Bro got a insane immune system10:14>> if he's still doing it to this day.10:15>> Literally. And he's just like10:17>> he I mean he looks messed up, but to him10:19he doesn't care.10:20>> He's like, "Yo, I'm going to do whatever10:22I got to do." Like he's straight up like10:23cracked out, but he doesn't care in his10:25genuinely there is like I'll ask him,10:28"Are you good?" No, I'm good. There's10:29people rep probate like that where10:31they're like, "My standard isn't going10:33to shift. I I could lose everything and10:35it's still worth it because I have this10:36one thing that makes me happy. To him,10:39that's his hope. And he went through10:40hell of trauma, hell hell of trauma. And10:43he comes from a long line of like10:44generational curses where his father was10:47into drugs, his mother was into drugs,10:49his mother overdosed. Like he came from10:51this line of just like seeing all of10:53that stuff and going, "Hey, I guess this10:56is my life." And he he's happy. He's10:58genuinely happy in his standard.11:00Obviously not in God's standard.11:01Obviously, probably not in the world11:03standard, but that's the problem when11:04someone goes, "I don't care about your11:06guys' standards. What matters to me is11:08what matters to me." And so, again, to11:10be fully healed from your sin is to go11:13number one, recognize, "Holy crap, I11:15have a problem. I need somebody to get11:17me out of this. I need the blood of11:19Jesus Christ. I need him to save me."11:22Then you're able to be truly freed from11:24that. Now, will you have residual like11:26effects where you're sitting there and11:27you may slip back into your thoughts or,11:29you know, take a sip here and there,11:31smoke here and there, lust here and11:33there? Of course, that's part of your11:34flesh. But again, I would argue that11:36that actually means that you're saved.11:39Like, no one is going to struggle with11:41anything if they're not saved. I didn't11:43struggle with like back then, I didn't11:45even think I was addicted. I didn't even11:47sense it. I was like, "This is great."11:49And I would get mad when they the coke11:51would run out. I'd be like, "Man, you11:52guys are all like freaking vacuums, bro.11:54What the hell?" Like, "Save me some."11:56I'm over here already did a ball through11:58one one nostril. Save me some. Like,12:00what the hell you talking about? That's12:02literally how I would think, though. I12:04didn't feel any emptiness because of12:06that. I felt empty because I didn't have12:08like a status. I felt empty because12:10maybe I didn't get to where I wanted to12:12be. But again, that was because of my12:14own standard. I didn't meet my own12:16standard. I didn't match my own12:17standard. So, standards and expectations12:19basically make you empty, right? So to12:21know how you're saved fully is to go I12:26struggle with things that I normally12:28wouldn't struggle with that would bring12:29like I would chase that high before and12:32now I'm starting to question why am I12:34even doing this? Why am I even doing12:36this type of stuff, you know?12:38>> Well, what about like12:40>> you know like I don't drink ever now.12:42Like even if we go out to Europe and12:44other people it's like oh glass of wine12:46I just don't really want it. But I know12:48that if I were to go to like a like my12:50friend's wedding. No, no, no. I'm not12:52not going near a12:53>> RA.12:55>> I'm not going near Wraith cuz you'd12:57never see me ever again. No, I'm just12:58kidding. I'm just kidding. But like13:00Yeah. Like let's say if I'm in an13:01environment like that, yeah, I I might13:03drink or something. But I'm saying like13:05let's say I go to one of my best friends13:07weddings. I actually didn't drink at his13:08wedding cuz I got sick. But if I wasn't13:11sick, I probably would have drank13:12because it's all my high school friends.13:14I wouldn't have probably gone to the13:16ends of how I used to drink, but I would13:18have probably had a drink or six or13:22seven, probably nine.13:24>> You know what I'm saying? But in that13:26moment, my thought is, man, like13:30I it's like, oh, I shouldn't. But it's13:33like, you get what I'm I'm like, "Oh, I13:36shouldn't, but like I'm going to." But13:37it's like it's not like a guilt thing.13:39I'm not going to hell over this.13:41>> But now I'm like, "Okay, well, now I'm13:42having that conversation." So, I'm aware13:44of it and I'm still choosing to do it.13:47Well,13:50then I have like guilt. You know what13:52I'm saying?13:52>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.13:53>> And then and then it's like but then but13:55then my thought is13:56>> it's also because you don't know the13:57Bible like that.13:58>> Well, no, hold on. Then I go, well, it's14:01not that big of a deal, right?14:03>> Yeah.14:05Well, but then it is kind of a big of a14:07deal because it could be a slippery14:08slope, you know, because what if I come14:10back and I go, "Well, you know, I just14:12had a little drinks there. I'm going to14:13drink when I come back." And and for14:15some people, they could slip down that14:16thing.14:17>> But that's how you know you're saved cuz14:19normal people wouldn't even think like14:20that.14:20>> Yes. So then I think that, right? Okay.14:23At least I'm thinking of this and I know14:24that this is not a common thing.14:26>> Yeah. And then the enemy slips in and14:28goes, "Now you can use this and abuse14:29this14:30>> possibly." Or it's just like, "Yo, I'm14:32just going to do this once." Yeah. You14:33know what I'm saying?14:34>> Which is also the enemy.14:37>> It's like, dang, am I like a bad person14:39cuz I just drank at a wedding? I'm not.14:41You know,14:42>> you're basically overthinking it. But14:44it's all still to your standard, low14:46key, though.14:47>> Oh, what are you getting, Mr.14:50>> Nothing? I was about to just say that's14:51to your standard. This is funny. It's14:53just the the root of the question you're14:54asking is because there's no14:57repercussions, why wouldn't I do this14:59thing is is what you're asking. facts15:01though.15:02>> Is that the root? It's more so of like15:04Reggie you like a piece of paper.15:07>> So what's the answer to that?15:08>> Reggie like a piece of paper. There's no15:10It's just a piece of paper. You need a15:11book15:14like a piece of paper.15:20>> No. By the way, everyone look at Aaron's15:21socks.15:24>> What's going on here?15:25>> Oh my god.15:25>> What if I told you my sock drawer had no15:27pairs?15:28>> No. And you just open it and it's a15:30bunch of jump socks.15:31>> Yeah. It just saves.15:32>> So you wear different lengths and sizes.15:33That's crazy.15:34>> Nobody told you that faith would come15:36with this many unanswered questions. You15:38pray, you read, you fast, you tithe, and15:40yet you're still not growing. But there15:42are things that you're still carrying15:44that you haven't said out loud to15:45anybody. Not because the answer doesn't15:47exist, but because you don't know who to15:49ask. That's exactly why every Tuesday I15:51do a group mentorship session. You bring15:54your questions and whatever you've been15:55sitting on. Whether it's a decision you15:57can't make, past trauma you're still15:59working through, or a relationship16:00that's draining you, and I answer them16:02scripturally, foundationally, with16:04biblical truths that meet you exactly16:06where you are. Even if you're not ready16:08to ask a question yet, come and listen16:11in. Because chances are somebody else in16:13that room is carrying the same weight16:15you are. It doesn't matter if you're new16:16in faith or you've been walking with God16:18for many years. No question is too16:20small, too messy, or even too16:22complicated. The group mentorship is an16:24exclusive benefit for gold members only.16:26To join, download Coreheart daily or use16:29the link in the description. I'll see16:31you guys Tuesday. I think I'm not saying16:34again that there's a permission to sin,16:37right? But the way that the church16:39treats this particular sin is like they16:43don't see people, they see like issues.16:46Like they don't see individuals, right?16:47They see like issues. Like this guy has16:49an issue. They don't see people like16:51what's the trauma behind it? Like we're16:53literally and when you look at Galatians16:556:1, it literally tells us to restore16:58people in meekness, in love. We have to17:00sit there and go, yo, they're obviously17:03doing something, whether it's addiction,17:05loneliness, frustration, whatever it is,17:07like lust. You have to restore people17:09with love. But the problem is people17:12treat each and every individual person17:14when they do a specific sin that goes17:17against either their culture or their17:18teachings as unreachable.17:21There are so many people that have come17:23to our church who tried out other17:25churches, whether they went to Catholic17:26churches or other. They were literally17:28like, "Oh, I'm" they treated me like I17:30was unreachable. We have a sister in our17:32church. You know her, Jeremy. She led17:35the largest pride parade in China. like17:39the history of China, right? Was17:41arrested all kinds of like took17:43penitentiary chances for this stuff. And17:45in the end, she obviously is saved.17:47She's a deacon's wife now. And the one17:49thing she would share with me was every17:52church I would try to go to to look for17:53love, they literally were like, "If you17:56don't repent, you're basically17:57unreachable." Like you're they didn't18:00look at the person as like a a person.18:02They looked at them as you're choosing18:04to do that and you know that that's18:06wrong and you're you're like they're18:07they're literally just shaming people.18:09Listen to me carefully.18:10>> All right, let's use her as an example.18:12She's a lesbian trying to go to church18:14and then when she goes to church they18:16say you're unsavable and it makes her18:18start to spiral.18:19>> Yeah.18:20>> Does that mean God made a mistake?18:23>> No. Absolutely. In the Bible it says God18:25makes no mistakes. He's not like a man18:27who makes mistakes or repents. Right.18:30So, it's not that God made a mistake.18:32It's that human beings, they18:35misrepresent God. And then people18:37obviously look at someone who's a human18:39being representing God as God. So, what18:42most people, this ties into church hurt.18:44A lot of people, why they leave churches18:46is not necessarily because of God. It's18:49because people misrepresented God and18:51they thought that that's what God was18:53because those people quote unquote on18:55the surface level represent him. They18:57have a church. They're in church18:58clothes. They they they worship every19:01morning. They fellowship. They do X Y19:02and Z. So it's not that God makes a19:05mistake. It's human beings make a19:07mistake and misrepresent God. We're19:09mistaken, broken people trying to19:12represent God. Right? So those churches,19:14it was it wasn't God was wrong. They19:16have to detach from this idea that that19:19person who represents God is God. It's19:21like no, people are people broken and19:24they're finite and God is infinite. And19:26so that's why like the way I say it is19:29church is a hospital. Literally church19:31is a hospital. The doctors sometimes19:33will get sick. The nurses will get sick.19:36The patients not all of them will be19:38taking their meds. Not all of them are19:40there for good, you know, good reasons.19:42Some of some of them are there to just19:45chill and take meds and abuse that and19:47then leave. So there's that's exactly19:50how church is. The pastor can sometimes19:52get high-hearted. The congregate members19:55can sometimes be like, "I'm better than19:57you." But none of that represents Jesus19:59and God. That doesn't mean a hospital is20:01evil. That doesn't mean medicine is20:03evil, right? It means that the people20:05who are handling the medicine are20:07mishandling the medicine. In the same20:09way, human beings are like that with20:11church too. They mishandle God and then20:13be like, "This is what God said." not20:15knowing context, not really knowing20:16standard, and then skewing their vision20:18to be like to match basically scripture20:21to their heart rather than matching20:22their heart to scripture. And that's20:24what hurts so many people. So God20:27doesn't make a mistake. Basically, it's20:28human beings are mistaken about God.20:31>> So kind of going back to what you were20:33saying about like the gang member versus20:35the liar versus the gay person,20:37>> addict.20:38>> Yeah. The addict. It's all kind of the20:40same. And you know, people hear like,20:43"Okay, uh uh same same forgiveness, same20:46blood or whatever it is, and they think20:48you're going soft on sin." What do you20:50say to those people?20:52>> A murder. Like, you're really comparing20:54a murderer to a liar. You know what I'm20:56saying? And it's like, well, look at the20:57Bible. But it's still like,20:59>> well, you still need to correct.21:00>> That's why I answered it from the21:02standard standpoint,21:03>> right? Like your your our standards is21:06this guy is worse than this guy. Sure,21:07we're supposed to compare. We compare21:10horizontally, but aren't we supposed to21:11compare vertically?21:13>> So to God, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.21:15So judging other people, making yourself21:18God and judging other people is is is21:20the worst evil. I don't even agree with21:22that. Me myself personally, I don't21:23agree with that. I think people who are21:25rapos and chomos, you guys know what21:27that is. That mess with innocent people21:30who can't defend themselves, they21:31deserve the hottest part of hell. But21:33that's my standard though. I'm not God.21:35God's standard is you guys are all the21:38same. You all need the blood. You all21:40need Jesus Christ. And in fact, if you21:43don't think so, you're worse than the21:44person who's like, "I messed up. I need21:46help." Because a person can at least21:48admit, "I need help and I" and like21:50they're smiting their chest. There's a21:52story in the Bible where there's a21:54there's literally a Pharisee and there's21:56a chief sinner. The Pharisee is sitting21:59there going, "Yes, I've sinned, but22:00thank God I'm not like the harlot. Thank22:02God I'm not like the politician and22:04publican. Thank God I'm like that, not22:05like the thief. Right? And then Jesus22:08goes, but there's another guy standing22:10far off a like far from God in distance22:13and he's smiting his chest and he's22:15going, "Father God, forgive me a sinner22:17like me. I need your mercy. I need your22:19grace." He goes, "I tell you verily that22:21only one person went down and it was the22:24sinner who went down as righteous." So22:26God does not like when people step into22:29his role and go, "I'm not as good as22:32God, but I'm going to judge like I am as22:34good as God, and I'm going to tell you,22:36even though I'm struggling and I fall22:38short, I don't fall as short as you."22:41It's like a person who gets 40% like on22:44their test versus someone who gets 50%22:46on their test. They're both Fs, but it's22:48like, "Well, I didn't at least I didn't22:49get 40." It's like, "What are you22:51talking about? You both failed at the22:52end of the day." So this is the issue22:55with Christianity nowadays is the22:57standard. It goes back to this is my23:00standard and am I aligning with that23:03standard or of God or am I aligning with23:05my own standard and then using that as23:08if that's the standard of God. Many23:10people do this and that's the problem.23:12Super big problem in the churches.23:14>> Yeah. It also starts to shift too when23:16it's like uh like these ones are obvious23:19of like non-Christian versus Christian.23:21>> Yeah. But then the next phase is like23:23the famous verse where it's like w or23:24the saying like wives submit to your23:26husbands,23:27>> right? So wives submit to your husbands.23:30What does that verse really mean? So23:33wives submit to your husbands is found23:34in Ephesians chapter23:35>> sounds pretty obvious to me. You do you23:36cook and clean when you're supposed to.23:39Am I right?23:40>> Jeremy the type to literally be like why23:43does a woman need a clock23:45>> when she got the stove?23:48>> Literally.23:48>> You came up with that. I didn't even23:50think of that. Sorry,23:51>> I thought why do periods exist? They23:53should go away forever.23:57>> I'm a feminist.23:58>> Oh my gosh, Sherry. Um, so when they say24:02wives submit to your husbands, you have24:04to read the full context. Number one,24:07spiritually, biologically, obviously24:09there's men and women, but spiritually,24:11when you look at the church and the24:13bride, which Jesus literally says, this24:16is the great mystery of Christ. And in24:19Christ, there's a mystery here. So,24:21Adam, even though, let's say, he didn't24:24really sin, he didn't pluck the fruit.24:26Eve did. But in Romans 5:12, Adam gets24:29the full blame. Why? Because he's the24:31husband. And Eve, who's the sinner, gets24:34literally takes the she she gets her her24:37sin absolved and the husband takes the24:39the the sin on his shoulders, right? He24:42gets he takes the blame. In the same way24:45when it literally says wives submit to24:47your husbands. We are the wives24:49spiritually because we're the24:51bridegroom. We're the church. I'm sorry.24:52We're the bride. We're the church. Jesus24:55is the bridegroom. And what this means24:57is he's our husband. So whenever we mess24:59up, we have to give it all up to Jesus.25:02We have to submit to him. And then what25:04does the bridegroom have to do? It25:06literally says, "Lay down your life for25:08your wife. Love your church." That's25:10literally what he did. He laid down his25:12life to then pull out of the church a25:14righteous bride which is all of us.25:16Right? So spiritually we are women in25:20front of God. That's what people don't25:21understand because we need help. We need25:23nurturing. We we genuinely can't save25:26ourselves. We need to be, you know, we25:28need a savior. We need guidance. We need25:30we're weak basically, right? As strong25:32as you are, you're not as strong as25:33Jesus. You can't even depression comes25:35and knocks you over. Anxiety comes and25:37knocks you over. So they don't25:39understand the context of that. They25:41read one thing and their mind because25:44human beings again are mistaken. We're25:46prone to have control. We're prone to25:48manipulate. We're just broken from the25:51core. We then go see the Bible says this25:54and they think it's like misogynistic25:56almost to the point where they need a25:59woman to do what the man says, right?26:01But it literally says you're to lay down26:03your life for your wife. It's just26:06pointing to Jesus Christ. And that's why26:07I say John 5:39, Luke 24:27, Luke 2026:1124:4426:13is all about Jesus Christ. The whole26:16Bible is about Jesus Christ. It's not26:18for you to weaponize those things.26:21>> So the man dying for the wife is not26:23literally man dying for the wife.26:25>> No,26:26>> it's representative of Jesus dying for26:28you.26:28>> Exactly.26:28>> So that's why Paul says, "This is the26:30great mystery." He literally ends it in26:33Ephesians 5:22. This is the great26:35mystery. Right. You're supposed to die26:37for her, not dominate her. Different26:39D's.26:40>> But then how do you act out dying for26:42your wife?26:43>> You don't.26:44>> Yeah. Exactly. Okay.26:45>> Right. You go to the one who did, which26:46is Jesus Christ.26:48>> Got it. Interesting.26:49>> How do you treat the woman how Jesus26:51treated you? Oh, okay. I can let it26:54slide. As much as you've, you know,26:56betray, let's say your girl betrays you.26:58How many times have we betrayed Jesus,27:00though? We we promised him we'd stop27:02doing X, Y, and Z. We promised our even27:04our family members we'd stop doing this.27:06we'd stop being lazy, more disciplined.27:08How many times have we backtracked on27:10our things? And then yet, if somebody27:12does it to us, all of a sudden, it's27:14like World War II and it's the worst sin27:16in the in the world. It's that's27:18horrible. Like, we have to be we have to27:20be accountable. And how do you do that?27:21By focusing on Jesus as the center line27:24by going, "Oh, I did exactly she did27:28exactly to me what I did exactly to27:30Jesus." And that's how I'm able to27:31forgive somebody. That's the byproduct27:33of forgiveness. That's how you're able27:35to let go of church hurt. That's27:36literally the master key to all of27:39everybody's problems, right? Is like27:41we're not going to argue. We're all the27:43same under Jesus Christ and that's why27:45he died for us. Everybody needs him.27:48That's what it is. So, yeah, you can't27:50fight if you know that. But you can only27:52argue and get frustrated if you're27:53thinking about yourself and your own27:55standard. You're upholding your own27:57views and perspectives.27:59Of course, then you're you're going to28:01fight until either they shift their view28:04to your point of view and your worldview28:06or you just shift your view to God's28:09worldview and then you guys just become28:11peaceful in that way. It's really up to28:12you. We do have free choice. We do have28:15free will basically. So yeah,28:18>> and men are not above women. Women are28:20not above men, right? But what you have28:23to learn is Christ is above all. If you28:26know that, okay, I'm not above my wife.28:28my wife isn't above me, my husband28:31isn't. Right? You think this way, but28:33Jesus is above all of us. Then that28:35solves the issue right then and there.28:37You're able to digest, as we say, like28:39you could digest the hurt and the trauma28:41and go, "Okay, it's okay." Like, we're28:44all the same when it comes to God. That28:46that literally has helped me forgive my28:48father. I didn't do something28:50miraculous. I just looked at my dad and28:52went, "Dang, I'm literally the same as28:54him. I just didn't do it to him." Like I28:56did it to my my heavenly father. Oh my28:59goodness. Like it just a light bulb just29:01clicked. And then I ne I I actually29:03started to pity my dad. How can you pity29:05someone who stood over you and said, "I29:07never wanted you." Who gave your mom an29:09STD? Who brought women home? And I'm29:12like, "Are you mommy? Are you mommy?"29:13Like this type of stuff. You don't29:15forgive people like that. But what was I29:17able to do? Oh my gosh. I'm literally my29:20dad in front of Jesus.29:23>> Good answer, Clippy. but not good29:25enough. So my qu29:28>> Yeah. So my question is29:30>> Jeremy,29:31>> the last question I had was because I29:33saw like this debate on the internet and29:35I was it was just about like uh it was29:39like should men and women be 50/50 women29:42or gold diggers? Whatever it is and29:43somebody in the comments was basically29:45saying is a woman marrying a rich man29:48she doesn't really love any different29:49from prostitution? M and29:52>> before you answer before you answer no29:54no before you answer I already know it's29:57just different standards look these29:59people are trying to create different30:01standards so we don't even have to go to30:02your answer I30:03>> No it's good though that's a good thing30:06I I okay first and foremost cuz I know30:10the viewers are going to be like well is30:11it wrong for me to want stability and30:14then the guys are like is it wrong for30:15me to want like30:17>> there's nothing wrong with men wanting30:19to have more income30:21and women also wanting the same. But the30:23issue is when that becomes the sole30:26motivator as to why you get into a30:28relationship with somebody, big big30:31problem, honey. You cannot come to my30:34nail salon. If you do that one,30:36>> you literally you're idolizing money and30:40stability and comfort more than the30:42creator now and the comforter. Right? So30:45the Bible says the root of all evil,30:47like the love of money is the root of30:50all evil. So love, you can't love30:52something more than either a human being30:54or God, right? But people do that.30:57They're like, "Okay, I'll stick with30:59somebody. I'll get with somebody even31:01though I don't I wouldn't ever if like31:03based off of the zeros in their bank31:05account." That in itself is obviously31:08wrong. Now, could you say that that's31:09prostitution? I would say spiritually31:12it's it's it's committing like an31:13adultery, right? Because God says love31:16people from their heart. You're not31:18committing prostitution against your31:20worldly husband. You're actually going31:22against your spiritual husband, which is31:25God. When he goes, "Love everybody. Be31:28peaceful with them. And think of31:29yourself lowly and think of other31:31people. Don't just think about your31:33stuff." We're literally going against31:35God. What people don't understand is31:36they're committing crime against God31:39every time they go against his standards31:41and place their standards above his31:43standards. That's so dangerous. What's31:46crazy is people don't notice that people31:48are numb to to to the fact that they're31:51sinning like this. Like the sin isn't I31:53messed up and I'm sleeping around and31:55I'm I'm being a gold digger. The sin is31:58I don't even think my my my father in32:00heaven who created money will provide32:02for me. So I have to use my own standard32:04to weasle my way in cunningly and subtly32:07and manipulate because I don't have32:09faith in him. The bigger sin is I don't32:11have faith in my father who will provide32:13for me who literally created the whole32:15universe knows the hairs on my head32:18knows my f my past present and future32:20knows exactly what kind of peace I need32:22knows whatever and I don't want to go to32:24him. I rather lean on a human being or32:26lean on my own thoughts. And that's why32:28the Bible says in Proverbs, a foolish32:30person trusts his heart. And women too,32:33if you trust yourself, you're foolish.32:35That's what's going to lead you to to to32:36to sadness, misery, and even hell. So32:40the the bigger crime is not, you know,32:43is it prostitution? Like the bigger32:45crime is why don't I actually trust my32:50father to provide for me with a man32:52who's ready for me, who will provide for32:54me as well. And why is it that I don't32:57even feel that when I do that? That I32:59think it's normal to just do those33:01things. I don't care about God. And33:02again, it does come back to standard. Do33:04I care about God's standard? Probably33:06not. If I'm doing manipulation and I'm33:08doing those things, that's just how it33:10is at the end of the day.33:13>> It's just transactional at the end.33:15>> Yeah. But how did it become transaction?33:17Where do you think transaction comes33:19from? Because33:20>> the whole world.33:21>> Yes. So that so that's what I was kind33:22of saying like you loved money because33:24you didn't have any.33:26>> Yeah.33:26>> Right.33:26>> No, no, no. But transaction. Okay. The33:29reason why we're so transactional is33:30because when we're born, Jeremy, think33:33about it. Everything is you you put in33:36and then you reap that, right? So if I'm33:38in school in kindergarten, they're33:39already to you get a gold star for being33:42a good boy. Like everything is a33:44transaction. If I want to drive my car33:46and it's a gas vehicle, I have to pump33:48gas into it to then move the car. Every33:51single thing is transaction. Oh, if I33:54want to have my toys, I got to be nice33:55to my parents. I got to listen.33:57Everything is literally transaction.33:59>> So, are you saying we should just give34:00out participation trophies? Then you're34:01going to have more errands in this34:02world.34:03>> Anything but that.34:05>> That's crazy.34:07>> It's not what I'm saying. You big dumb34:09dumb.34:10>> Okay, then explain brainiac.34:12>> Explain. I explained. I'm saying of34:16course we're transactional but at the34:19end of the day that's why God has34:21standards that we have to dig into. How34:23do we be less transactional? By thinking34:25about God who literally gave everything34:28to us. Who wasn't transactional? Who was34:30relational? Who said you don't deserve34:32this? You don't. But I'm going to give34:34you a participant. What is it? A34:36participation trophy which is the gospel34:39of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago and died34:42on the cross. Right? So yeah, it is by34:44grace. I'm not saying we should go and34:46just be nice to everybody and give every34:48everybody everything. There is34:50capitalism. It has its place. There's34:52competition, things like that. We've34:54seen even through history, communism34:56doesn't work. It's great on paper, but34:58it doesn't actually. It kills34:59motivation. It traps people. But deeper35:03than that, the foundation that I'm35:05trying to get to, the root of it is we35:08sat there and we just naturally in this35:11world thought we have to do better and35:13try harder. And so that's why it's so35:15hard to not be selfish. We're liter it's35:19ingrained in us to be selfish and35:21stubborn and want what we want and not35:23really share. And that's why kids get35:25rewards when it's like, "Wow, they're so35:27humble." It's like, "What the hell?35:29We're supposed to be humble." No, no,35:30no, no, no. We got to reward people for35:33being humble. That's why when you35:35parents out there who are watching this,35:37you don't have to teach your kid how to35:38lie. You actually have to teach them how35:40to tell the truth. You have to teach35:41them to do good. You have to teach them35:43to share because they're naturally like,35:45"No, I don't want to do any of that."35:47They'll lie. They'll scheme. They'll35:49manipulate. They'll do it all. And no35:51one taught them. And you're oblivious if35:54you think, I'm sorry to say, I say this35:55with love. Well, the world made them35:57like that. No, it didn't. Like, they're35:58literally born like that. Kids already36:00know. Baby Isaiah, born in church,36:02didn't he's around church kids, is36:04sitting there like lying and throwing36:06rocks at people. Punch the kid in the36:09face. Who the hell taught him? Because36:10somebody kept calling him Peter and not36:12Isaiah to punch a kid in the face. Like,36:15no one taught him that. But he sat there36:16and was like, "I don't like you." Boom.36:18And just decked the kid and got36:20suspended. Nobody told me that faith36:22would be this lonely. I thought when I36:24gave my life to God, everything would36:26just click. Community, peace, direction.36:28A lot of us are out here just trying to36:30figure it out alone. Your family thinks36:32it's a phase. You go to church on36:33Sunday. You're smiling. And then on36:34Monday, reality hits and you're back36:37alone in your home in your thoughts. I36:39know exactly what that's like. I got out36:41of prison at the age of 25. I didn't36:43have a church home. I didn't have36:44friends. I didn't even really have36:46family to back me up. I had God. I had a36:48Bible. But more importantly than36:50anything, I had a pastor who I could36:51lean on to ask questions and to just36:53receive mentorship and have fellowship36:55with. And the thing that changed36:56everything for me wasn't just studying36:58alone. It was actually having someone I37:00could bring my real questions to. Not37:02the Sunday school questions, the real37:04ones, the ones that keep you up at37:05night. The ones that make you feel37:07unworthy because you can't figure it out37:09on your own. Therefore, you feel as if37:11you're less of a Christian. That's why37:12every single Saturday at 10:00 a.m.37:14Pacific Standard Time, I go live inside37:15the Core of the Heart daily app. First,37:17we do a full Bible class, real teaching,37:20not that surface level stuff. We go37:22super deep. You were never supposed to37:23do this alone. and now you don't have37:25to. Bible class every Saturday at 1037:27a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Can't wait37:28to see you guys there. So, there's this37:30one question that I get asked all the37:32time. It's literally kind of offensive,37:36but but I I I kind of understand, right?37:39So, people ask me all the time, could I37:41have been a cult leader? You know,37:43they're like, you got the charisma.37:45You're so the handsome.37:49>> You're looking so good.37:50>> You got the follower.37:51>> You got the so many follow. No, but I37:55think I think anybody has a potential,37:58especially people who are platformed to38:01have a cult like to be a cult leader.38:04And I'll explain because obviously38:07parasoially like it's just easier now to38:10be seen by people and the more you like38:12are kind of ingrained in their brain,38:15people just naturally follow and be38:16like, I could relate to that person. And38:19really, I see so many people kind of38:21idolize in a lot of ways where they're38:23like, "THAT'S MY BEST FRIEND, JOHNNY."38:25And I'm like, "I don't know who you38:26are." Right? It just happens. But could38:29I have done it? I think anybody can with38:32the right mix of people, the right ways38:35of reading heart posture. The reason why38:37I'm not able to is because number one, I38:40have great leaders who are not cult38:42leaders who literally point everything38:44away from me. Secondly, I also did not38:47want this platform. So, I think cult38:50leaders at the end of the day love being38:52seen more than anything, right? And so,38:55I don't really care about that. I grew38:57up in an era where like low-key getting39:00in front of a camera is snitching. And I39:03I I care about that more about my image39:05and my reputation back then, especially39:08more than, you know, trying to help39:11people if I'm like I'm I'm kind of39:12ashamed to say that, but it's true. So I39:15never really wanted the platform. It was39:17more of just like platform is necessary,39:19fame is necessary to then reach people39:21and reach them masses and preach the39:23gospel. But I never forget like who I39:26am. And I never forget that I always39:28need to point to Jesus Christ. However,39:30how are cult leaders born? Very simple.39:33They're very cunning. Yes, they're very,39:35you know, they have all of these, you39:37know, unlocks and whatever. But the most39:40the biggest trait is exaltation. They39:42want to be exalted above even God39:44himself and they want people to just39:46follow. When you look and you do studies39:47on these cult leaders, it's all about39:50they need to control the narrative. They39:53need to be at the center of the39:54narrative and they need to have39:56everybody look at them as like either a39:58godly figure or God himself, right?40:01Either a prophet from God or like God40:03himself, which is really really crazy.40:05And so, yeah, it's it's I'm kind I don't40:08have that trait where I'm just like,40:10"Look at me, guys. I'm very40:11introverted." Like, genuinely, I I go40:14and I meet people and I I'm just sitting40:16there and quiet with a lot of people.40:18It's just weird. The only thing I want40:19to talk about is the gospel. I don't40:21want to talk about me. I as mean as I40:25am, I've had people say, as as much as40:27I'm not trying to be mean, I've had40:29people say like, "Hey, tell me your40:31testimony." I used to be like, "Oh,40:33yeah, it's on it's on YouTube."40:36They're like, "Talk. Tell me a little40:37bit, John." And I'm like, "Yeah, it's on40:39YouTube." Like, they're like, "What the40:42hell, dude?" But I want I'm like here40:44right now. And I'm just like, "Oh, I'd40:45have to like snap my my myself out of it40:47sometimes." So, yeah. Could I have been40:49a cult leader? Absolutely. I think40:50anybody has the potential if they're40:52sitting there and they have a massive40:53following like we do to then go and40:56manipulate everybody. But I'm always40:58just talking about Jesus and God. And I41:00think that's why people can't knock me41:02is because at the end of the day, yes, I41:03may say something some things that may41:05be abrasive. Yes, it may be some things41:07that you didn't hear about. Yes, I may41:09say that you're, you know, like lacking41:11and you're dirt and then, but it's all41:13biblical at the end of the day. There's41:14nothing that that's like, oh, it's41:16coming from Johnny. You know, I've seen41:18people where I'm chastising and people41:20will tell the other person I'm41:21chastising in the Discord, hey, he's do41:24you realize he's just bringing up41:25scripture and you're getting triggered41:26by the scripture? And I'm like,41:28>> "Clock it."41:30>> Yeah.41:31>> Aaron's eyes are darting around cuz he41:33had had his cult.41:35>> Literally had a cult. Yes. No, he41:37didn't. Yes, he did.41:38>> I did have a cult.41:40>> What the41:40>> When he had millions of followers, the41:42first thing he decided was, "I will41:43create a cult." And he did.41:45>> It's all jokes. It's just41:46>> It's not jokes. I would go on TikTok and41:48I would see usernames. It got so big.41:51>> You did Aaron's toothbrush, Aaron's41:53microwave.41:55reflection his over a thousand over a41:58thousand.41:58>> I would literally see them on other42:00random videos. I'm like, "Oh my gosh,42:02this is42:03>> It was like a virus." He had his little42:05He had his little moment. He had He had42:07like a He had like a niche community.42:10>> How did that feel, Aaron?42:11>> It was great. I missed my cult.42:13>> They would They would They would cause42:15havoc. We would do nice things, raid42:17streamers. It was fun.42:18>> That is cool.42:19>> The cult was funny. And it's42:20>> He almost had He had a million42:21followers.42:22>> Yeah. He had a million followers before42:24that wasn't even a thing on42:25>> Tiki,42:26>> right? Which is crazy.42:28>> There was no ads on Tik Tok yet. There's42:30no lives on the for you page or none of42:31that.42:32>> What was genius though that one thing42:34tell Share what you did where back then42:35you couldn't Tik Tok live wasn't42:37discoverable.42:38>> Explain your little thing.42:40>> Explain your cult how it started.42:41>> Really? It was just some Aaron Lord.42:43Give them No, come on. Give them some42:44Aaron Lord. Give him some soft. It's a42:46super long story, but super long story42:47short is I was doing a bunch of music42:49stuff at the time and then COVID42:50happened and they said it's a 30-day42:52lockdown. You got to shut everything42:53down for 30 days. So, I decided I was42:55like I had a bunch of c creative energy42:57pent up. I was like what do I do? Live42:59streamed for 30 days. The lockown43:01>> you choose why did you choose Tik Tok43:02versus Twitch or YouTube? What did you43:04notice? You told me43:05>> Tik Tok was always felt like a43:07superpower. Tik Tok was really really43:09crazy. like Tik Tok. I remember grinding43:11for years on Instagram running different43:12pages like TFM and this and that and you43:14can get followers like let's say you get43:16posted on Worldstar and it gets 1043:18million views. On the best day you'll43:20get maybe 10,000 15,000 followers. You43:23got to grind it out for a long time. On43:25Tik Tok I was living in a house with43:27some creators and we posted to a page43:29with only like a 100 followers. It got43:3126 million views overnight. 150,00043:35followers overnight and like flipped43:37everything on its head of what I thought43:38about what grinding up a following was.43:40And I was like, "Yeah, this is I'm going43:42to focus the rest of my energy on this43:44for the next I'm going to figure out43:45everything there is to it's like43:46discovering a superpower. It's like a43:48hack. Like I'm going to just figure out43:50everything there is to figure out about43:51this."43:52>> And that was like right around when I43:53started that live stream.43:54>> No, no, but you're missing a detail of43:56the story. Oh, yes.43:56>> Yeah. No, let let him let him finish. I43:58want to ask43:59>> because when you because when I asked44:00you, you were like cuz you're like, "Oh,44:02I'm going to go live stream." You you44:04called me and you said you said, "Tik44:06Tok just launched live streaming44:08>> and there's a little gray button on the44:10for you page." I was like,44:12>> "What? You're speaking Spanish to me. Do44:14you remember this conversation44:16>> vaguely?"44:17>> Well, you got super excited because you44:18were like, "They're now introducing live44:20stream. It's the first vertical platform44:22live streaming that surfaces you to the44:254."44:26>> So, yeah. So what the plan was like44:27basically when you were when you were44:29live your profile picture would glow. It44:31still works like that but they were like44:32the first platform.44:32>> No no but I remember on the for you page44:34you'd be scrolling on random videos but44:36it would say li like there was a44:39>> this was before that44:39>> there was a watermarked Oh really?44:41>> Yeah. Before that was before that. The44:44only way to get views is your profile44:45picture would be glowing that you would44:47be live and you'd have to make videos44:48and if the videos go viral you'd say hey44:50I'm live right now. And usually that44:52doesn't work because it takes days for44:54it to go viral or whatever. And if44:56anyone could see it at any moment, but44:57if you're always live, it's all it45:00always works. So, I just made a bunch of45:01videos into tell what your live strategy45:04was.45:05>> Just to be live all the time. I was just45:07live 24/7.45:08>> Consistency.45:09>> No, but literally sleeping with the45:11camera on. This is like now it's common45:13for people to live stream 24/7.45:14>> This is before all that.45:15>> This is before all that. You were one of45:17the first dudes to go live 24/7.45:19>> Yeah. I remember working with TikTok cuz45:21I was discovering like even their own45:23limitations. like after 7 days the live45:25shut itself off until they fixed that45:26and there was just different45:27restrictions so you couldn't actually45:28stay. But45:29>> yeah, it was supposed to be 30 days and45:31the lockdown never ended and 4 and a45:33half months later I had still I never45:35turned off the stream and I had a45:36million followers and thousands of cult45:38members and it was good times. It was45:41fun. I remember it was funny too because45:43like I'd be just like work. He was still45:45helping me on nectar stuff and I'd just45:47be like during my workday like working45:49and I'd like tune in and he's live and45:51he's like trying to bake brownies and45:53doesn't have any of the equip. Do you45:54remember this day? That day went viral.45:56>> He baked the worst brownies. That's why45:58I went45:59>> That video was one of my most viewed46:00videos ever.46:01>> I was literally like I was watching it46:02at home like dude this guy doesn't know46:05how to bake boxed brownies.46:06>> To this day I don't understand why it46:08didn't work. Like why can't you just46:10blend all the ingredients together? Why46:12can't you just46:12>> you put it in like a pot or something?46:14Yeah, that's something really stupid.46:17>> No, I was gonna say just hearing that46:19too gives me a hell of perspective on46:22when you're saying that grinding it out46:24on Instagram is way different than46:26grinding it out on TikTok. Obviously46:29that's true, but it makes me kind of46:31appreciate how many followers we do have46:33on Instagram.46:34>> Yep. Well, yeah. Now it's now real46:38caught up to it.46:39>> Yeah.46:39>> But even then, you still can't I mean,46:41we're doing pretty crazy, but it's like46:43>> it's kind of crazy. I see people46:45grinding for like five years on IG and46:47they still don't even get close to what46:49we have.46:50>> I grind four years on the platform in my46:52business had 40,000 followers.46:54>> Dang.46:55>> Yeah.46:56>> Beta, man.46:58>> Just kidding. That's crazy though.47:00>> Yeah. I missed the cult. Some people are47:02still out there. Like when we were in El47:03Paso, someone was a cult. Someone was47:05used to be there. That's true. He did.47:08>> Roy got on camera. It was crazy. What?47:11>> They're like, "Yeah, I'm I'm Aaron's."47:13>> They're like, "Are you Aaron?" I'm like,47:14"Yeah." Like, "I was Aeron's whatever."47:16And I was like, "No way. That's crazy."47:18>> Yeah. Yeah. I remember that.47:19>> I'll have people Someone multiple47:21people, couple people came up to me in47:23Europe that were like, "I used to watch47:24Under the Influence." And I'm like,47:26"Whoa."47:26>> We both had funny moments. Like, if you47:28were on TikTok during co the summer of47:302020, you probably saw me whether you47:32liked it or not. And if you were on Tik47:34Tok like the summer47:36>> whether you liked it or not.47:38>> And if you're on Tik Tok sometime around47:39like 2023, you probably saw Jeremy. It47:41just that was that's what was happening.47:43>> It's always cool when I meet people at47:45the live events that were like, "Oh, I47:47followed Nectar under the influence, but47:49then I started following Johnny because47:51of that one episode."47:52>> Whoa.47:53>> Yeah. So about half your following is47:54because of me, so put some respect on my47:57name.47:58>> These guys would be cult leaders. No,48:01but yeah, that's Dang, that's dope,48:03though. That's crazy. Well,48:04>> the internet is so cool.48:05>> Yeah, if you guys didn't know, I got two48:08cult leaders here.48:10>> I was never a cult leader. He for sure48:12was.48:13>> Yeah, for sure.48:14>> Yeah, he would make them like do he48:15would like mobilize people to make them48:18do things.48:18>> They were great.48:20>> We still have some of them. They work48:21for Cough now.48:22>> True. I mean, it was a cult. Yeah.48:26>> Did you guys anybody? We don't talk48:30about that.48:30>> Yesesh.48:32>> Jeremy, stop. People are going to sit48:34here and go.48:35>> You think they'll believe we listening48:37to?48:38>> This is all jokes. It was just the name48:39of the Discord was Aaron's cult.48:41>> Oh yeah, big funny joke. That's usually48:43how cults start,48:44>> right?48:44>> Starts as like a silly joke.48:46>> Didn't you guys hear like Jared Leto has48:47a cult going right now?48:49>> No. Well, he has so many allegations.48:50There's tons of YouTube breakdowns of48:52him of the sketchy things that he does.48:54>> Why do you watch stuff like that?48:56>> It's interesting. I'm in every I know48:59every subculture niche.49:01>> I know a lot of them.49:03>> Yeah, I I got a tinfoil hat on.49:07>> Chronically online.49:08>> No, I just have programmed my algorithm49:11to serve me news. Yeah, chronically49:12online.49:13>> Yeah.49:14So, if you guys want to go deeper with49:16the Bible unlocks and just having these49:18biblical resources, guys, we created an49:20app called Core of the Heart Daily.49:22Every single morning, I write a personal49:23daily devotional. If I If you guys could50:04see into my closet, describe it.50:06>> No, they're trolling you.50:07>> Okay, I got to go back and watch the50:08footage. Your first reaction was,50:10>> "Wait, why do they know about the closet50:12though?"50:12>> Because I said it.50:13>> Aaron brought it up.50:14>> I was trolling you on the podcast.50:16>> Trolling you.50:17>> And then um the next comment says,50:18"Jeremy's like a little brother. He's a50:20perfect addition to the podcast because50:22he has all the questions that we're all50:23thinking. He must stay."50:25>> Little brother.50:28>> Little bro is crazy.50:30>> Good little bro.50:30>> You know what's even crazier? I'm 3550:32years old and they're like, "He has50:34these little like kitty questions. What50:36do you mean? I'm I'm I'm asking deep50:38theological questions that people50:40struggle with and that get they're like,50:42>> "Yeah, okay." Little bro,50:45>> sure, buddy.50:46>> Okay.50:46>> Just because you sound white when you're50:48asking it does not mean it's deep.50:50>> Oh, so50:51>> just cuz you lead everything with here's50:52the thing does not mean that it's a deep50:54question.50:54>> No. No. So, you're telling me that my50:56questions aren't well thought?50:58>> No, your questions are actually really50:59well thought.51:00>> That's what I thought, buddy. Have some51:02respect. Bucko.51:04>> Bucko is crazy. Ding dong. I'm trying51:07not to swear. So, I have like a I have51:09like a new vocabulary. Hey, what's the51:11what's the meanest thing you could say51:13to someone without swearing? You have to51:15really51:15>> If you really want to learn how to swear51:17if you really want to learn how to51:19swear, just like swear like the Bible51:21does.51:22>> It's like may may your farm houses be51:24dry.51:27>> It's like,51:27>> no, take that back.51:28>> Is that is that is that51:30>> is that the biblical term of like you51:32get no hus?51:33>> Yeah. It's like may51:35>> or your pocket you got no bread.51:36>> Yeah. Basically, it's like may you be51:39cursed, you know, beyond oblivion, you51:41know? It's like,51:42>> hey, I don't know if I'm I like that.51:45>> And what would you say would be the the51:46harshest thing you could say to someone51:48that's not a swear word, but like you51:49would call like instead of calling51:51someone like you a B,51:53>> what would you say that's like not?51:57>> Guys, in the comments, write your51:59meanest. No.52:01>> Okay, fine. Have no fun. It's not even52:03gospel centered.52:04>> Okay, fine.52:05>> The the hardest thing to say is like to52:09someone who's it depends, right? But if52:11they're Christian is to be like, you52:12don't know God.52:14>> That right there is like52:18YOU DON'T KNOW THAT. HOW DO YOU KNOW52:20THAT I DON'T KNOW ABOUT GOD? You know,52:22it's like that is52:23>> I know you've used that on people.52:24>> No, I I just be what I say is all of us52:27I catch 22. I like literally make52:29everybody do it. I go, "Hey, we don't52:32know God, but because we don't know God,52:35that's why we can know God." And Right.52:38>> I always say myself, too, but people get52:40mad. They just take it hella personal.52:42>> Yeah. They're like, "Oh, you read the52:43Bible 27 times. Oh, I've read the Bible52:4616 times. You don't think I've learned52:47something?"52:47>> That's another thing. That's another52:49thing.52:49>> Oh, yeah. When you say, "How many times52:51have you read the Bible?"52:53>> People go checking them.52:54>> They start like start twitching. Like52:57other thing is also that gets people53:00pissed off is uh Oh my gosh, I just had53:04it. That one was so good too.53:06>> You know, I'll try to refresh your mind.53:08I said uh you How many times have you53:10read the Bible?53:11>> Yeah. Yeah. Oh, no. There was It was53:13before that though.53:14>> Respectfully, how many times have you53:15read the Bible, sis?53:18>> You How many times have you read the53:20Bible, little bro?53:23>> I I actually prayed to God about you53:24last night. He didn't know you.53:29>> Dang,53:30>> man. These are biblical disses.53:32>> There's like a biblical Oh my gosh.53:35>> You brut of vipers. That one's kind of53:36hard.53:37>> Yeah. No, there was one that said crazy.53:41>> No.53:43>> What does comeliness mean?53:45>> Like attractiveness like Oh, really?53:48>> He had no clliness. Nothing about him53:50was was attractive or did girls want or53:53his intrusive thought.53:55No, right. It's like why he why when53:57you're like I'm like Jesus. I'm like I53:59know.54:00>> Yeah. Yo, you're calling me54:01>> zero cliness.54:02>> No clumliness is crazy.54:04>> Yeah.54:05>> Think about your other biblical disc.54:06>> I know. I I had it until some white guy54:10who wasn't Aaron.54:17>> That's so messed up.54:18>> I'm sorry.54:19>> That's so messed up.54:20>> All right.54:22>> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Call me54:24No, I take that as a compliment.54:27>> Here's a good comment to to whoever to54:30whoever hasn't yet downloaded the app.54:32Like, what are you waiting for?54:34>> Ooh.54:35>> Oh,54:37>> facts. I want55:13the people that are on the outskirts.55:15>> We have 11,000 reviews on App Store.55:19>> Wow.55:19>> It's more cuz it was 17,000. That's you.55:22Oh, you're saying the app store Google55:25is like 9,000ish.55:26>> That's that's people that just left a55:28review, but written reviews, there's55:29like thousand written reviews of people55:31just writing paragraphs.55:33>> Dang.55:34>> Yeah.55:35>> Shout out to y'all, man. For real. I'm55:37That's what we love. And again, we're55:39just scratching the surface. It's not55:42We're not even Oh my gosh. Seriously,55:44>> I want to know I want to know if people55:46are telling their friends and what their55:50friends think about it. If you're like,55:51"Yo, I just used this app. Try it out."55:54Like, are you guys recommending it to55:55your friends? And have they given you55:57feedback? And what has their feedback55:58been?55:58>> I can tell you guys cuz I have. I have a56:00friend. His name is Nick. He's in the56:02Bible class or he's in like the56:04mentorship. Yeah. He's my homie. He just56:06found you online, saw that I was working56:08with you and was like, "This guy's56:08amazing." And so he joined56:10>> and then um he's like asked questions56:12before and stuff and he's left comments56:13that you've replied to like agreeing56:15with, which is fire. So I'm glad he's56:16like in it and understands it.56:18>> And um he's obsessed with the app. He56:20texted me so angry when the streaks56:23broke. I was like, "Don't worry. This is56:25for anyone paying attention. The streaks56:26broke, but we ran a script, so56:28everyone's streaks are restored."56:29>> And if not, just go to app feedback in56:30Discord and ask them and they'll fix it.56:32>> Yes. If you need it, just come ask. And56:33I'm sorry about that. If it ever happens56:34again, don't panic. This is56:35>> helpart.com. Just email help.56:37>> It's all data that we always have. So,56:39just don't ever think it's gone forever.56:41Just let us know. But, um, yeah. No, he56:43loves it. He's every day. He's actually56:44texting me ideas and suggestions about56:46where to do certain things and and like56:48they're good. I've brought them up.56:49>> Nick, by the way, Aaron just claims them56:51as his own ideas cuz he's never56:52mentioned you before. I just want you to56:54know that. I just want you to know that.56:56>> Listen, I get a lot of ideas from a lot56:58of people, okay? I listen to I listen to57:00the community's feedback constantly. No,57:03I've sent screenshots of his texts to me57:04to Justin and stuff like that.57:05>> But why do you always like blank it out57:07and say, "Hey,57:09>> I just57:11idea. Here's here's an idea that Nick57:12gave that I gave in the meeting that was57:14really really good, but to put the57:15gospel bot into the Bible. Obviously,57:17this is something we'd come across down57:18the road, but when you're on a Bible57:20verse to be able to press the gospel57:22button, it'll explain, give context57:23times when Johnny's taught about it.57:25>> They don't know what's coming.57:26>> Just the whole app being fully57:27integrated. But57:28>> yeah, me,57:28>> it's all coming. It's always down the57:30road. But yeah, he's been super super57:32enjoying it. He's recommended it to57:33friends. He's been loving the classes,57:35loving the scheduling. I gave it to one57:36of my friends who's like a baby57:38Christian and he's always like texting57:42me like, "Yo, the daily devotion. Like57:44I'm I'm starting to understand a little57:46more how to like57:47>> uh like I'm understanding like what the57:50Bible means."57:51>> Yeah.57:51>> Cuz the B dude I Okay, I'm not going to57:53lie. I still have not read the Bible57:55completely once. I'm going to get it57:56done before the end of the year. I'll be57:58honest and said I was supposed to if I57:59kept my pace from the beginning of the58:01year, I was supposed to be done on June58:0320th, but I'm not. What happened little58:05bro?58:06>> Because he made me work too hard all58:08May. I fell off my habits.58:10>> That is true though.58:11>> Worked me like a dog.58:12>> Dude,58:13>> I do. So much so that I literally broke58:16his back.58:18>> Literally blew his I literally blew his58:20back out.58:21>> Hey, don't clip that.58:24>> Don't clip that. Cut that. That's what I58:26meant. Cut that. Don't even give people58:27an opportunity to hear that sentence.58:29>> That was a AI AI. But anyways, I'm in58:32Isaiah.58:33>> That's pretty good though, Joe. Yeah,58:34I'm in Isaiah. I'm close. Um, and and58:38>> actually now I have Johnny Chang on the58:40podcast. Let me just ask you directly.58:43>> Oo, after that I have another good58:45comment to read.58:46>> Yeah. And I I'll read the comment while58:47I pull this up.58:49>> Okay. Well, it might be a little longer,58:50but Okay. So, here's a comment from the58:52episode last week. Been in my word and58:55in your Bible class since 11:24, and I58:57don't even know who I am. I'm58:59surrendered to the I'm surrendered to59:01the will of God.59:04I'm going to church. I'm doing59:05everything with Jesus. So thankful. So59:07thankful. I appreciate your time,59:08pastor. Not going to lie, Jerome's59:09presence was missed.59:11>> Wow. What are you shaking your head? No.59:13>> I'm just kidding.59:14>> Oh,59:15>> I don't even know who I am.59:16>> No, he said he doesn't know who he is,59:18which is a good thing.59:20>> Yep. Yep. I get what he means.59:21>> He he he's like he's never surrendered59:23before. Basically, he's never grown. So,59:26I'm just saying that's all him. It's all59:28Jesus. That's why I was going like this.59:31>> It's not me.59:32>> WW.59:33>> So, I'll just anytime I um uh I don't59:37Well, it's all the verses basically. The59:39whole Bible would be read, but I59:40highlighted in red if I'm like, I just59:42don't understand what this mean. And I59:43write a little note.59:44>> Yes.59:45>> So, the and obviously it's like the59:47whole chapter, but this is one verse59:49where I was like, let me Okay, so this59:51is Isaiah 24. Wow. Bro's looking up the59:55answer on the Gospel Bot already. No,59:57no, put the phone down. No, I'm just59:59kidding. So, so it's Isaiah 24 24:21.1:00:04>> Okay.1:00:04>> And it said, "And it shall come to pass1:00:06in the day that the Lord shall punish1:00:08the host of the high ones that are on1:00:11high1:00:11>> and the kings of the earth upon the1:00:13earth."1:00:14>> Yeah. Okay. Wait, don't answer yet.1:00:16>> Who exactly is God punishing and why?1:00:21And then it said, "And and they they1:00:22shall be gathered together as prisoners1:00:25are gathered in the pit and shall be1:00:27shut up in the prison, and after many1:00:29days shall they be visited." I'm going1:00:32to give you guys one unlock that's1:00:34probably one of the biggest unlocks in1:00:35the world.1:00:36>> This random verse, this random Isaiah 241:00:39verse 21 verse.1:00:41>> Isaiah, if you guys Okay, I'm going to1:00:44give you I shouldn't do this.1:00:46>> Why? I'll do it. But you better have1:00:49discernment.1:00:52Isaiah has how many chapters? 661:00:55chapters.1:00:55>> I was going to look. I was like going1:00:57back. I was hitting back button. I was1:00:58like1:01:00Isaiah has 66 chapters. How many books1:01:02are there in the Bible? 66 books that1:01:04are duter canonical and inspired. Right.1:01:08Okay. If you guys really struggle with1:01:12reading the Bible front to back, just1:01:14read all of Isaiah. It is literally1:01:18Genesis1:01:20to Revelation mini version cliffnotes.1:01:23>> Really?1:01:24>> Yes. But but is it like a lot?1:01:26>> Because that's why towards Isaiah 531:01:28Jesus comes out.1:01:30Isaiah 9:6 early on the prince of peace1:01:34comes out. But just like Genesis, if you1:01:36guys haven't been Deuteronomy class and1:01:38all that, you see like little spurts of1:01:40Jesus and then towards the end it's all1:01:43about Jesus. Now that's basically Old1:01:45Testament, New Testament combined.1:01:47That's why Isaiah is goated in this way.1:01:48Okay. Number one, people don't know1:01:50that. Number two, what he's talking1:01:52about, he's talking about two powers.1:01:54There's governmental powers, but there's1:01:56also unseen powers. He will lock both of1:01:59them in prison. Meaning God in Isaiah1:02:0224, that's a third of a third of, right?1:02:05Cuz it's 60. It's like a fourth of it.1:02:08No,1:02:08>> 24 would be1:02:10>> a third. So a third of the chapter is1:02:13it's as if you're at a third of the1:02:15Bible, which a third of the Bible is1:02:16like 2 Kings. So when you look at1:02:19remember how I said Genesis to1:02:22Revelations is like Isaiah chapter 1,1:02:24Isaiah 66, chapter 66. If it's in a1:02:27third, it's literally going through the1:02:28kings. So you won't know this unless1:02:30you've read the Bible multiple times. So1:02:33he's talking about the kings because1:02:34there's a there's a there's a a time1:02:36where there's judges and kings and1:02:38that's before 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, all1:02:40that where no one wanted God. So what1:02:43God is saying and what Isaiah is talking1:02:45about is you guys don't want me. I'm1:02:47going to freaking lock you guys up and1:02:48I'm going to do it like this. So So he's1:02:50in second you're in second Kings right1:02:52now basically.1:02:54>> Okay. It's crazy you said that because1:02:56in Isaiah 19 I have another red verse1:02:58highlighted here.1:02:58>> Come on. I said Isaiah 19:22, "And the1:03:01Lord shall smite Egypt. He shall smite1:03:04and heal it, and they shall return even1:03:06to the Lord, and he shall be intreated1:03:09of them, and he shall heal them." And I1:03:11was like, why is it talking about Egypt?1:03:13This sounds like Exodus.1:03:15>> Why is he talking about Egypt in Isaiah?1:03:19>> Talking about Israelites.1:03:20>> Yeah. So, not specifically Egypt.1:03:22>> Oh, got it. Got it.1:03:23>> He restores in judges and kings the1:03:26actual king at that time. There's1:03:28multiple kings. And that's also another1:03:30unlock is in kings uh people who are who1:03:34a lot of people come to God through1:03:37second kings and first kings. I'll1:03:38explain people who are geography people1:03:41cuz the bible is like the oldest book1:03:43right that's preserved. It has all of1:03:45the the the information and and whatnot.1:03:48So when they're they're the1:03:49archaeologists are digging up stuff.1:03:51They're going through kings to go oh1:03:54there's Mesopotamia and there was a king1:03:55here. And then that's how they find the1:03:57kings. That's how these archaeologists1:03:59are like, "Dude, the Bible is real1:04:01because it's a road map. It's real." So,1:04:04they follow that to then become saved.1:04:08>> Cuz all the kings has multiple. There's1:04:10King Ezra. There's all these different1:04:12kings. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom,1:04:14boom, boom. Uh, Ahaz, a like all these1:04:16different people. So, you can, if you1:04:18really study the Bible, even just from1:04:20like a logical standpoint, you'll be1:04:22able to locate things like DNA. you'll1:04:24be able to locate these things all1:04:26inside of the Bible, but you have to1:04:28read it.1:04:29>> So, so archaeologists are smart where1:04:31they sat there and they're like, "Okay,1:04:32we traced this back. This was old Jordan1:04:35was this and this was Syria and they1:04:37start they start piecing it together."1:04:39Interesting.1:04:40>> Pretty wild, guys. Our live events are1:04:42getting super packed. We genuinely need1:04:44some help. So, we're looking for a live1:04:47events producer. So, I'm going to be1:04:48completely honest about this. There's a1:04:50lot of moving pieces from booking a1:04:52church, finding the vendors, scanning in1:04:54the people, the volunteers, the merch.1:04:56Like, there's so many moving pieces that1:04:58I'm just going to say right now, we're1:04:59looking for a professional. We're1:05:00looking for someone who has done this1:05:02before. If you're watching and you're1:05:03like, "Oh, I think I can help their live1:05:04events." Honestly, you're probably not1:05:06the pick. But if you're watching and1:05:07you're saying, "Oh, I've done this1:05:08before. I've thrown live events. I've1:05:10even maybe worked in a church space."1:05:11Please reach out. We're looking for a1:05:12killer, someone who can really1:05:14coordinate everything. It's a ton of1:05:16moving pieces. At the end of the day,1:05:17it's nothing too hard or complicated,1:05:19but it's a lot of details, a lot of1:05:20moving pieces, and for us to be doing1:05:22this every single month, once a month or1:05:24even more, it's almost impossible1:05:25because we each run different branches1:05:27of the business. So, for us to do these1:05:28ourselves, it's becoming unscalable. So,1:05:30if you think, you know, you know, I can1:05:32come in, take this over, I'll learn from1:05:34them, we'll teach you everything, and1:05:36you think I can take the information and1:05:37go throw them live events every single1:05:39month in a different city for the rest1:05:41of the next 10 years. If you're hearing1:05:43this and you think that's you, please1:05:44reach out. We pay super competitively.1:05:46We have honestly a really good pay for1:05:48you guys because we really want to do1:05:49this. Live events are super important to1:05:51Johnny and all of us and all of you1:05:52guys. So, we want to keep doing them. We1:05:54want to keep making them super amazing.1:05:56And that's why honestly, we're looking1:05:57for a killer. Like it. We're not really1:05:59going to hire anyone to test them out or1:06:01try to train. We're looking for someone1:06:02who has done this before and is ready to1:06:04do it for us and we're going to pay you1:06:06very handsomely for it. So, please reach1:06:08out. The best way to do it, there's a1:06:09link in the description. There's a job1:06:10application that details everything and1:06:12the pay. So, please fill it out. Please1:06:14pay attention to the instructions.1:06:16There's a lot of instructions that if1:06:17you don't pay attention to them, we're1:06:19not even going to look at your1:06:20application. So, cutting to the chase,1:06:22we're looking for a live events killer.1:06:23If you are that person or if you know1:06:25that person, if someone at your church1:06:27maybe throws the events, if you want to1:06:28recommend it to a friend or a family1:06:30member, we want an awesome beast live1:06:32events producer. The last thing I'll add1:06:35is you're going to be handling1:06:36everything from thousand to 5,000 person1:06:38live events. We do prison ministry,1:06:40overseas trips. We want to do we have1:06:43big plans to take core of the heart1:06:44global and you would be the lynch pin1:06:47that controls all of that. So with that1:06:49being said again like Aaron said I'm1:06:51only harping it again there's a lot of1:06:54people that are applying because you1:06:55have a heart for the miss mission which1:06:56is great but only because of past1:06:59experiences. We have a very particular1:07:01vision of what this person needs to be.1:07:03We're also being advised by people that1:07:05have done this at extremely high level1:07:07who are helping us vet the applications.1:07:09So, it's going to be a very like select1:07:13group of people that are looking at your1:07:15application. So, please do not be1:07:16offended if we don't pick you. Just1:07:18understand we have a lot of input and we1:07:21are very specific on what we need. So,1:07:23we're very appreciative if you try, but1:07:25please again understand that we've we've1:07:27gone through a lot of ups and downs to1:07:29understand what we need or want.1:07:31>> So, if you want to apply, the link is in1:07:32the description. And also for anyone1:07:34else still listening, if you want to1:07:35come to these awesome live events, text1:07:37in after to 323-61335771:07:42for free live events in a city near you1:07:44>> or download Core of the Heart daily.1:07:45>> I genuinely want to thank you guys for1:07:48tuning in and just supporting Core of1:07:50the Heart. Without you guys, we1:07:52obviously we wouldn't be able to go1:07:54global and so we are looking for that1:07:57that perfect piece, right, to uh take us1:08:00global and help us with the live events.1:08:01So, if that's you, we really do1:08:03appreciate you guys for for applying and1:08:06um hope to work with you guys soon.1:08:08>> And then I had another question. This is1:08:10Isaiah 22:16.1:08:12What hast thou hear? And whom hast thou1:08:14hear that thou hast heed thee out of a1:08:18seotry here? As he that heth him out of1:08:23tree on high, and that graveth on1:08:26habitation for himself in a in a rock1:08:29ends in a question mark. I'm just like1:08:31what is ao supposed1:08:33>> sepoker1:08:34>> sepoker number one who is supposed to1:08:37understand that verse1:08:38>> you're not supposed to understand it1:08:40>> okay okay except1:08:40>> but if you read the Bible in context you1:08:43would know exactly what that's talking1:08:45about so he's molding and he's shaping1:08:48people he's honed together these things1:08:50right so he's talking about vessels1:08:53that's going to carry this type of tree1:08:55of life let's say so who is carry who1:08:59are we are vessels earthn vessels inside1:09:01of us carries this precious gospel.1:09:04Well, what does the tree of life1:09:05represent? Jesus Christ. Because Jesus1:09:08hung on a tree to give us life. So, we1:09:11carry that inside of us. And then the1:09:13question mark is who is willing to carry1:09:15this?1:09:16>> Is a seuler like a vessel?1:09:18>> It's kind of like a vessel. You can look1:09:20it up. I don't know the exact1:09:21terminology for it.1:09:23>> Sotree basically. Yeah.1:09:27Either way, I read this and I'm like,1:09:28I'm so confused.1:09:31>> Yeah, it's a small room. It's a vault or1:09:33a stone structure used as a a grave or1:09:36burial place. So, it's a grave and a1:09:39burial place honed together to carry1:09:43these things. Basically, what does a1:09:45burial place carry? A dead body, a tomb,1:09:47etc. You just piece it together, you1:09:50know? B just think about everything,1:09:52Jeremy, as Jesus Christ. Dude, but I'm1:09:54just like it's it's just tough.1:09:57>> Yeah, cuz you're too big brain.1:09:59>> Okay, well that's what happens, guys.1:10:01You'll be Jeremy. You don't understand.1:10:03>> Okay, I'm Well, never mind. I'm not We1:10:05can go for days. I was about to be like,1:10:06"What about this verse? What about this1:10:08verse?" Either way, uh I've been reading1:10:10my Bible and1:10:11>> you've always done that. It's so funny.1:10:12You're always like, "But what about1:10:14this?" And then you're like, the end1:10:16result is how the hell even if I read1:10:19that for 20 years, I wouldn't come to1:10:21that conclusion. And I'm like, that's1:10:23why you're not me.1:10:29>> Just kidding.1:10:30>> Yeah. Well, I'm just I'm just still1:10:32reading. But I I I I will be honest and1:10:34say some like today when I was reading1:10:36all that, I was just like it got to the1:10:39end and I was like, I have no idea what1:10:42I just read. Like I but I just read and1:10:46I genuinely like like but I was reading.1:10:48Today was a little bit different where I1:10:49was reading and my mind wasn't wandering1:10:51too much, but I just got to the end and1:10:53I was like, I don't think I learned1:10:54anything.1:10:55>> W1:10:56>> That's the whole point.1:10:57>> It did wander a little bit, but it was1:10:58still like I just read1:11:00>> highlighted some things.1:11:02>> Just read. The whole point is just to1:11:04get into the motion. That's it.1:11:06>> I I treat it like meditation.1:11:09>> We meditating. No,1:11:10>> I'm just like focusing on the task1:11:12instead of like It's like focusing on1:11:14your breath.1:11:15>> Don't read it fast either.1:11:18I know you be trying to blaze her with1:11:20your finger like1:11:21>> nope nope nope. I read it on the app. I1:11:24I I was reading it slow. I1:11:25>> read it slow, Jerome.1:11:27>> Yeah,1:11:27>> genuinely1:11:29it's a marathon.1:11:30>> Support.1:11:34>> That was1:11:36>> that was me reading that word.1:11:38>> I can't believe Ella the mod has read it1:11:4019 times.1:11:41>> No, she seven times.1:11:43>> Okay. Okay.1:11:43>> Seven times. But she's 19 years old.1:11:45>> She's 19. I flipped it. But either way,1:11:48I'm like that honestly that inspired. I1:11:50was like, man, she's read it seven. I1:11:51haven't read even read it once and I'm1:11:5335. I'm like, I got to read it once so I1:11:56can say I read it once.1:11:58>> Fact.1:11:59>> He's like, he wants to talk. And then1:12:01he's like,1:12:02>> you compared to Ella is just pathetic.1:12:06>> Have you opened the Bible once in your1:12:08life?1:12:08>> Yes, dude. I've read it so many so many1:12:11times.1:12:12>> I'm just going to I'm just going to I'm1:12:14just I'm going to master Isaiah, though.1:12:15And then just be like, I know the Bible.1:12:17>> Just read Isaiah. I mean,1:12:19>> I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.1:12:20I'm joking. I was I was doing the one1:12:22thing you're like,1:12:23>> but now people are going to do that. I1:12:24already know, man.1:12:26>> But even if you just read all of1:12:28>> hung out like1:12:29>> Yeah. But even if you1:12:31>> even if you read all of Isaiah though,1:12:33it's like you still don't get the bars1:12:34of like Proverbs and Psalms and Romans.1:12:36>> That's the whole point. They're gonna1:12:37they're gonna do this. They're gonna go,1:12:40"What the hell, man? It doesn't make1:12:41sense."1:12:42>> You know what I You know what I noticed,1:12:44though? Um1:12:46um every pastor or every now I don't1:12:49know too many of the pastors at good1:12:50news but I do like pastor Kim actually1:12:53he's he pretty he goes all over the1:12:54place uh but there are certain verses or1:12:58certain chapters where I'm like this1:13:00makes more sense like you can read it1:13:02and pull a lesson immediately but then1:13:05>> but then the flip side is what we talked1:13:07about earlier in the episode where it's1:13:08like you read like women should submit1:13:11to the man and you're like that's clear1:13:13as Hey.1:13:15>> Yeah.1:13:16>> So,1:13:17>> it's clear as day.1:13:18>> Yeah. But I I I feel like Romans makes a1:13:20lot of sense. Romans great1:13:21>> and Hebrews makes a lot of sense1:13:23>> because Paul Paul is very just goated.1:13:26He's very simple. I love Paul. I I I've1:13:29learned a lot from just reading Paul's1:13:31books and I'm like, dang, bro.1:13:32>> Which ones were Paul's books?1:13:34>> So, First Corinthians first Corinthians1:13:37super good.1:13:38>> Titus is obviously from Paul. You know,1:13:41Paul's teachings. Philippians is from1:13:42Paul. Hebrews is actually from Luke, but1:13:45it was under Paul's guidance. Um, Luke,1:13:49Luke, if you read Luke, it's really1:13:50good, too.1:13:52>> I'd say the Yeah, the New Testament is a1:13:54little1:13:55>> is a little easier to understand.1:13:57>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.1:13:57>> I'm not even there yet, though. But I'm1:13:59like,1:14:00>> Yeah.1:14:01>> No, it's it's it's good. There's there's1:14:03hacks, but I don't want people to1:14:06idolize knowledge. I want them to1:14:08realize that if you just search for1:14:10Jesus in every line, it'll come to you.1:14:13I mean, I had to do that. Pastor1:14:14wouldn't I wouldn't I would go and ask1:14:16pastor and you know what he would do?1:14:18Why are you asking me? Ask God. I'm1:14:20like,1:14:21>> I've been you answer.1:14:24>> I will say never does.1:14:25>> I will say you've never done that to me.1:14:28>> Never. I always break it down for you,1:14:30Jerome. No, I'm just1:16:17kidding. You're just like, "What the1:16:19hell?" But like every episode, we always1:16:21end with the prayer. So let us pray.1:16:25Let us bow our heads. Father God, thank1:16:28you so much, Lord. Truly, we can see1:16:31that you want to teach us some lessons1:16:33on not just obsessing over one sin, but1:16:36making us recognize that all sin is sin1:16:39to you and that you don't hate the1:16:41sinner, but you do hate the sin. So much1:16:43so that you allowed your son to die on1:16:46the cross for us. Lord, there's so many1:16:48things that we could have went deeper on1:16:50today, but I hope, Father God, that a1:16:52lot of brothers and sisters listening to1:16:54this can receive some clarity to be able1:16:57to understand that the Bible is1:16:59something that we accept. We don't try1:17:01to explain it. We don't try to1:17:03understand it. But through acceptance,1:17:06uh the explanations do come, the1:17:08revelations do come, the unlocks come.1:17:10And most of it and most importantly is1:17:12the standard, Father God. is so many1:17:15people struggle with keeping your1:17:16standard as priority. So many people1:17:18struggle uh with their own standard,1:17:21thinking that what they think is right,1:17:23what they feel is right. But Lord, I ask1:17:25that you also help them break through1:17:27that, to allow them to read your Bible,1:17:29to be to be able to open your mouth and1:17:32be filled with the Holy Spirit, to be1:17:33able to have these revelations, but only1:17:35focus on Jesus through these1:17:36revelations, Father God, as you've1:17:38always always had from the beginning to1:17:40the end, from Genesis to Revelations. uh1:17:42you've always wanted us to just focus on1:17:44Jesus. Thank you, Father God. We leave1:17:47everything in your hands and in Jesus1:17:48name we pray. Amen.1:17:51>> Amen.
