I've obviously0:17been, you know, getting sick. And it's0:20so crazy because I went to go get to the0:23urgent care and I got swabbed. And0:26I had like a sore throat for like 70:29days. I don't know if you guys remember0:30I had like a sore throat for 7 days. And0:32then 2 days after I finished my0:34antibiotics, I got sick again. I got a0:37sore throat again. And I was like, "What0:39the faith is going on?"0:40And then so I was like, "Ah, I'll just0:42leave it. It's nothing, you know, maybe0:44it's just little allergies." So then 50:47days goes by. And then I get, you know,0:50sore throat doesn't go away. So I'm0:51like, "All right, I got to go and swab."0:53I go and I swab. And they're like,0:55"Okay, we're going to check like for0:58everything because it doesn't make0:59sense. You were literally on1:00amoxicillin, Augmentin. And all of a1:03sudden you got sick again. And then1:05boom, it came back. It was a Haemophilus1:09influenzae.1:11Which essentially is like the step1:13before pneumonia. And I was like, "Wait,1:16what? Like this is crazy. So again,1:20bacterial infection.1:22And um1:24I was like, "Okay, so now I got to take1:277 days more of freaking the hell the1:30freaking antibiotic, man." And then I'm1:34like, "Okay, so I I got to take Bactrim1:37or whatever it is." I'm just over here1:39like, "Dang. What is going on? Like I'm1:43I'm I'm trying to sleep in more. I I1:45know I don't sleep as much, but I am1:47trying to sleep in get it like a extra1:49an hour or two1:50extra to my daily routine, which puts me1:53at about 5 to 6 hours of sleep, which1:55isn't too bad.1:57And um you know, I'm just like, what the1:59heck?2:01And then at the end of the day, I I2:03talked to the doctor and he was like,2:05it's because you're literally around2:07everybody, that's why.2:09You know, it's just you're around so2:11many bugs. Like you meet so many people,2:14you talk to so many people.2:16And it's just like it's kind of2:19difficult to kind of avoid, right? And2:22so2:23I was like, all right.2:27But at the end of the day, um2:29I sat there and and I'm like, all right,2:31I need to just2:33chill for a second.2:35And I'm going to I But but what I do2:37notice is I don't stay sick. Like I felt2:41a lot better.2:42But I think I'm immunocompromised.2:46But you know,2:47it's just I'm just around too many2:49people, I guess. But anyways, enough2:51about me.2:52Let's see. Hello, Pastor Ken. How can we2:55draw the line between helping others and2:56enabling them financial-wise? Mm.2:59By the power of no.3:01So,3:02tell them that you'll help them, but3:03have a a a parameter set. And then if3:06they don't meet that boundary, like,3:09hey, I'll help you for a week.3:12This week alone. Next week, please I3:14want you to see some I want to see some3:15kind of improvement. And if they're if3:18they're like, what? No, you're dictating3:20my program, you know, you need to what3:22are you doing? Like are you're you're my3:24family. start doing this, you already3:26know they're going to use you.3:27So again, you guys know when when we3:30speak, we leak, right? And so if a3:32person really is down on their luck, you3:35should help them.3:36But if they're down on their luck and3:39they're just having these bad habits,3:41if they're still, you know, just kind of3:43depending on you,3:45then what you're actually doing is3:46you're becoming their savior.3:48And human beings are naturally3:50opportunistic. They're just going to3:52naturally be like that, you know?3:54So, yeah. I was like that for 5 years3:56till finally they did a bronchoscopy.3:58Turns out I had a bacterial infection.4:01Um yeah, yeah. So, same thing. I think I4:04just had a bacterial infection, too.4:07And so, it just recently I That's what4:10they are saying. This is one of those4:11things that can stay with you and lives4:13in you for a little bit in the nasal4:14cavity and whatever.4:16I'm hoping that whatever it is it's4:18going to do. And then, I also have my4:19naturopathic doctor who4:22sends out like labs for everything, bro.4:24Testing if I'm a freaking alien or some4:27like if I'm you know, his test going to4:29go all the way back to if I have Jesus'4:31blood in me. Like straight up, it's it's4:34crazy the the panel that he put up. So,4:37if I don't get any4:39Man, I'm telling you guys, this is why4:40we need grace, right? Yesterday I was4:42thinking about it.4:43And I was like, man, I'm preaching the4:46gospel to all of these people.4:47And I need to be4:49healthy, obviously.4:51The whole team depends on me. Talking to4:54Jeremy, and he was like, bro, we depend4:55on you.4:57Please be healthy.4:59And I'm like, no, I hear you.5:00But5:02it's not like I'm trying to get sick.5:04I guarantee if I just stayed in my5:06house, I wouldn't get sick.5:08You know? If I didn't do live event5:10We're doing live events again. Literally5:11like I'm going to be meeting 2,000,5:133,000, 5,000 people again each time I go5:16out there.5:18How do we stop?5:20All right? And so,5:22I just5:23There's a difference between keyboard5:25warriors and Christian warriors, right?5:28Like genuinely like I could sit behind a5:30keyboard and just you know, mouth off,5:32which is cool, but I genuinely think5:35that you guys want me to also be5:36bringing the communities together, etc.,5:38etc., right? So, I just feel like5:41this is going to be part of it for a5:43little bit, and I'm going to lock in.5:45I'm I'm going to treat my body nicer and5:47eat healthier and and just I think I owe5:50it to you guys and I owe it to the team.5:53Right? And so that's just very5:55important. But yeah, um it's just5:58difficult. I don't know. Even I'm just6:01it's not normal for you know6:04my life, how much I come in contact with6:06people. It's it's too much actually to6:09to to be honest. And it's only going to6:11get crazier. Like we are again doing 806:14million views a month. People are6:16starting to recognize me way more. I'm6:18going to these6:19like affluent neighborhoods. Like people6:22are just stopping me and I I6:25genuinely don't know how to stop it.6:28Like I can stop posting, but6:31you guys won't stop posting. You6:32clippers will, you know, push me all out6:34there. So6:36it's just nutty. It's nutty. So yeah, I6:38don't know. I'm I need God's grace. Hi6:40pastor, is it a sign of growth if you6:42started to have the desire to be the6:45same around other people as you are when6:46you are alone?6:48It's Oh, it's like being yourself around6:50people. Yes. Yes.6:51What is What if I'm scared to get into6:53relationships because I'm scared of more6:55character development arcs? Also6:57hope you will get well soon. Um well,6:59you shouldn't be getting in a7:00relationship right now.7:02Um I just think that7:05most people are not ready for7:07relationships7:09because not just codependency,7:12not just relational arcs and development7:14things and all that, but7:16because we need to grow with God. I7:18think it's already difficult. Hold on7:20one sec.7:21It's genuinely difficult for us to7:25love on other people if we don't know7:27how to love God and we don't accept the7:29love of God. You know, I7:32mentored a lot of people through my time7:34and I noticed one thing about human7:36beings is that7:37they always think of the worst things7:39first.7:41Right? Don't you guys do that? Don't you7:42guys think of the worst things first?7:45The worst possible case scenario. Your7:47mind almost defaults to it. Why though?7:50Because you're trying to survive.7:52It is a survival method and an instinct,7:55right? And so7:57when we do that, we come off as very8:01um protective, but also very selfish,8:05right?8:06And so8:07I I'm a true believer in you can meet a8:10person who's your person and fumble them8:12if you're not ready.8:14Like8:15genuinely, I believe that that's true,8:18right?8:19So8:21you have to get closer to God.8:24You you have to genuinely8:27um love God and grow with God. And I8:30don't mean like by your own will, but by8:32like listening to the gospel.8:34So I just think that it's better to be8:36alone. Like Paul, he really put it in a8:38good way. He's like "Be alone if you can8:41be, and if you can't be, then get8:43married." Like that's literally what he8:44said.8:46Right? Because when you sit there, your8:49your your attention will be divided.8:52Right? Your attention will be divided.8:54Guaranteed. You're just not able to8:57spend as much time with God if you have8:59somebody else who's tangible in front of9:02you, a person, right? And so9:05I think that's something we need to9:06really focus on, right? And it's just9:09very9:11like it's just hard because I know that9:13there's the physical aspect of it.9:16Right? You guys love to9:18hang out with people. And me, too. Like9:20I'm also like a physical affectionate9:22person. And so it is it I understand of9:26all things how difficult it can truly9:28be.9:29But at the same time, you don't want to9:31ruin things. It's just how it is, right?9:35Can you please explain Ezekiel 369:3812 to 15?9:40Uh9:4112 to 15, that one is where9:44I think God calls for judgment for his9:46people.9:47And he kind of tells them9:50um that they're going to9:52you know9:53uh kind of inherit certain things.9:56And and that that land will eventually9:59be their restoration point. Um10:03so10:04I'm not sure Yeah, but it's pretty much10:06what it is.10:08Right? So, it was a land of shame and it10:11became the land of promise was would be10:13the best way.10:14Um I can explain it. Okay.10:17May the Lord help your help your health10:20get better. Thank you.10:21Um how can I stay gospel-centered while10:23growing my business? Um everything in10:25the business has to point towards God.10:27And what I mean by that is10:29Look, I know some of you guys are10:30barbers in here. Some of you guys are,10:32you know, pathologists in here. Some of10:34you guys are dental assistants. Some of10:36you guys are fitness influencers. Some10:38of you guys are10:40you know, you all you all you guys10:41basically what I'm trying to say is10:42you're not all pastors.10:44It's easy for a pastor and a minister to10:46stay gospel-centered.10:48But at the same time, right? How how10:51difficult it is is it for somebody who's10:53not ministering? Um10:55use your business to minister.10:57Right? It it's it's just as simple like11:01talk to people about your faith through11:03your, you know, through the the ministry11:06that God has given you.11:07Not everything is a prison ministry. Not11:09everything is a gospel, you know,11:12centered ministry, but11:14treat it like it is.11:16Right? Uh talk about your testimony. Be11:19vulnerable with people. Um so, yeah,11:21it's just you know, you got to be able11:24to tie in the gospel11:26with your testimony. Whoever helps you11:29uh whoever walks through your door or11:31you meet you talk to them about God,11:34right?11:35Amen. So,11:37yeah. What's up, Johnny? First thing two11:39things first thing I noticed y'all work11:41on the shorts, reels, and thumbnails.11:42Thumbnails be having me rolling. Not11:43going to lie, but I see y'all work and11:45improve. My second thing, how do you11:46deal with anxiety towards your goals?11:48Like when you know you're real close,11:49you feel a breakthrough coming. It's11:51like kind of a mix of restlessness and11:53excitement. Been through a lot. Um I11:56think it's kind of scary.11:58Um to to It's a good question, but12:00you're having anxiety because you're12:01still trying to dictate the outcome.12:04You should have peace.12:05Uh the one thing I want to touch up on12:07today12:08is12:10we we tend to forget who we are.12:14I spoke to Pastor John yesterday.12:16And one thing I noticed about Pastor12:18John that I really love12:20is that he constantly12:23reminds himself of who he is.12:25You know, he's getting a lot of stuff. I12:27donated like a a few a couple thousand12:29to him and been trying to help him. He's12:31my boy. You know, he's going to come12:32over tonight. We're going to chill,12:34you know, and and have fellowship again.12:37But he's my brother. He's genuinely my12:39brother, right? I put him on the level12:42of my my my blood brother and probably12:45more even cuz he's super12:46gospel-centered, right?12:48But12:49um12:50one thing I noticed is that he's getting12:51super blessed. San Diego church is12:53growing. Um he went to Puerto Mexico and12:58you know, he talked to like 300 people,13:01150 pastors. It was beautiful.13:04But the thing he said about himself was13:07he has to remember who he is.13:09And why I'm saying this for you and13:11everybody else here is because when we13:13gain a little bit, our heart starts to13:16puff.13:18It starts to feel like we're doing13:20something well.13:22And if you have to try to lower it, it's13:24proof that your heart is already13:25heightened.13:26High-heartedness is biblical.13:29We we forget who we are. So, if you're13:32restless,13:34it's not just from excitement, it's13:35because we genuinely want a13:38breakthrough.13:39Now, I'm near a breakthrough, too. This13:42app is cooking. We have13:45a email list of 149,00013:48people, and it's growing.13:50Guys, people pay hundreds of thousands13:52of dollars for email lists like this,13:53and we grew that organically. No ads.13:56We didn't push nothing crazy. It was13:58just all from daily devotionals and just14:00you guys following me and all that,14:02right?14:03Right?14:04And so,14:05it's growing every day. We we get about14:071,000 to 2,000 new sign-ups every day,14:10and we get about14:11anywhere from 80 to 100 unsubscribes.14:14Now, think about that.14:16It is ridiculous. That amount is crazy.14:18Most people sign up, but unsubscribe.14:20So, you guys love the devotionals,14:22right? And we are creating this kind of14:25funnel. It's humongous.14:27Um and we're on the verge of14:29breakthrough, but the constant thing I14:31remind my team14:33is14:34it is not about bagging out. It's not14:36about, you know, oh, yeah, we're going14:37to make money and this and that. I14:39always tell them, remember who we are,14:42how we started, how we took risks14:46because we believed in God.14:47You know, Jeremy took a lot of risks. We14:50emptied Y'all don't know our bank14:52account to make Gospel Bot. And he14:55wasn't against it,14:57but he was kind of like,14:59dang, bro, like it's kind of a lot.15:03It's like 90K, right? Like15:06we could use that to do after service,15:08yada yada yada. And then he goes, you15:10know what? Actually,15:12like15:13you know, he kind of15:15came back on board with it, right? He15:17first spearheaded it, and then he was15:18like, uh15:20it's really up to you, Johnny, if you15:21want to or not, right? Cuz it starts15:23getting into the tokens and the15:24knick-knacks and it's expensive. Cuz15:27it's not just 90k. You also have to we15:30you have to pay, you know, to buy these15:32tokens and whatever, whatever, which we15:34swallow on our end, right? Um15:37And so, it's obviously proven invaluable15:39because we see people using it up crazy,15:42which is amazing. It's so good. So, so15:44good.15:46But I had to think through faith.15:49You know, when I15:51wanted to save that 93,00015:53or even now 200k plus for making the15:57app.15:58I thought about it, right? Like Johnny,16:01who are you?16:03You know? Are you the hustler Johnny16:05Chang, the one that wants to fatten all16:07of his pockets, the one that, you know,16:10only cares about himself? Or are you a16:12gospel preacher?16:14And if so, you have to act like it. You16:17know, my heart also is like, you know, I16:19I I I feel like you're not a real16:22person, right? This is just my own16:24thinking and logic.16:26You're not like I I feel like I wasn't a16:28real real good son until I I put my16:31parents in a house, like and I paid off16:33their house, you know? Like I genuinely16:36think that that's just my own selfish16:38like parameter of just being a good kid,16:41right?16:42And I that's one of my goals, personal16:45goals, is to to be able to retire my16:47parents, like every one of you guys want16:49to do. And so, I could have taken that16:52and put it down towards a down payment16:54towards a house for them. But I thought16:56about it, right? Like16:58who are you? That was the big thing for17:00me was you're you're nothing, Johnny.17:03You you cannot even like you can't even17:07sway a hardened Pharisee17:10to change their mind. Like even17:12yesterday, right? It was very humbling17:14for me. I stood there and I said, "You17:17know what?17:18I'm going to try and work on this Tyler17:20kid. You guys saw on the mainstream if17:22you didn't see it."17:24There was a kid who came in and was17:25like, "You're prideful, you're17:27hypocritical." Making these statements17:29about me. I said, "Okay, cool.17:31Let me try to gain his heart." And at17:33the end of it, respectfully,17:35it didn't work.17:37Right? It just didn't work. Like he17:38didn't He was like17:40very abrasive towards me, very defensive17:42towards me, very like you're stupid,17:43basically. Don't talk to me.17:46And um17:48you know, I thought about it. Like17:50I can't even gain the heart of people17:53who are hardened towards me.17:55I can't even like change, you know,17:58uh I seen I seen in the comment somebody18:02from my past who18:04was very18:05uh18:06loved on me a lot, but then started to18:08hate on me. You know, I saw one of these18:09comments on Unlearned Wisdom.18:12They were like It said something like18:13couple days ago. It said like "I18:15personally know Johnny. And you guys18:18shouldn't see how calm he is. Bro is18:20like very, very evil." And he was trying18:24to expose like what I did in the past,18:26you know?18:27And he he I guess he didn't know that I18:29already told you guys about. But he was18:31like outlining what I did that night18:34when I ran up on on this dude and put18:36him in a wheelchair and, you know, all18:38that, right? So, he was giving the18:40street names. Like it was straight up18:42like like snitching on me. And he's18:44like, "You know, you guys This is who18:46you guys follow and you guys are all18:48dumb. Like Y'all don't know how to do18:50research on homeboy. Like I was there18:53and he's just manipulating you guys."18:56And yada yada yada yada. Right? It was18:58just all this stuff.18:59And I thought about it. Like that that19:01dude, I actually helped him before a19:04lot. I plugged him in and I got him his19:07first 100K. He was able to touch19:09$100,000 cuz of me.19:12Cuz I plugged them into the homies when19:14nobody wanted to work with him.19:16And so, at the end of the day19:19it's it's really because I didn't19:21um help like I don't help them anymore,19:24right? And so19:25I thought about it, too. Like, dang.19:28I'm a person who19:30no one's going to really respect. Like,19:32and I don't I don't I don't I don't19:35deserve it.19:36Like, instead of getting mad, I thought19:38about it, right? Like, and then you know19:40what it caused me to do? It caused me to19:42read Deuteronomy chapter 8.19:44I read Deuteronomy chapter 8 yesterday19:47like six, seven, eight times like over19:51and over again.19:52Because it was so deep, right? So19:55let's open Deuteronomy chapter 8 and19:57what I'm talking about here. Why I why I19:59chose Deuteronomy. Again, a new a new20:02you know, a old old Old Testament,20:05right? Specifically when I read it20:08the the20:10parts that got that20:12held out to me20:13uh pointed out to me was 11 and 12. And20:1711 to 14.20:19Uh beware that thou forget not the Lord20:22thy God. So, it says beware, right? Be20:24be cautious. Do not forget Jesus God,20:27your God in not keeping his commandments20:30and his judgments and his statutes which20:32I commanded thee this day. Now, we know20:35his judgment was placed on Jesus and we20:37know that Jesus kept his commandments20:38and Jesus established the statutes. So,20:41it's about Jesus, right? 12. Lest when20:44thou has eaten and art full. So, when20:47you get eaten, when you're full20:49and has be built goodly houses, big20:52houses, nice houses, and lived in dwelt20:54therein means lived in. 13. And when thy20:57herds and thy flocks multiply, things20:59multiply, and your silver and your gold21:02is multiply, your money multiplies, and21:04all that thou hast is multiplied,21:06everything is multiplied. Then thine21:09heart be lifted up. You see that?21:11And now forget the Lord thy God, which21:14brought thee forth out of the land of21:17Egypt and from the house of bondage.21:20Right? You know, this is so deep.21:24I've read Deuteronomy so many times.21:26But did I ever reflect and think about21:30all the blessings I'm getting?21:32And do I ever look back and think I21:35don't want to forget about God.21:37Yes, but not enough.21:39To be honest, not enough, right? And so,21:42in the same way,21:43you guys may be hitting your goals.21:45Brother just said he's going to have a21:46breakthrough.21:48What I learned was21:50whether it's a breakthrough or21:52breakdown, it's all a blessing.21:55Genuinely.21:56Whether God chooses today to go,21:58"Johnny, I'm going to break you down.22:00Like, I'm going to break down your your22:02flesh. I'm going to give you22:04two bacterial infections back-to-back."22:07I I sat in bed last night alone.22:10And you know, when you're in bed and22:12you're alone and you're just kind of22:13like reminiscing a little bit.22:16And I thought about it.22:18You know, Lord, who am I truly?22:21Pastor Kim said something about me in22:23New York. He's in New York right now.22:26Pastor John told me this and he kind of22:27recorded him.22:29And he said,22:30"You know, Johnny was22:33a person who22:35knew accurately who22:37he was, right?22:39And And he was getting mad at, you know,22:42things that people were saying about22:44him. Oh, he's not a pastor. He's this22:47this this and that.22:48And he's like, 'And I told Johnny,22:50Johnny, you're not a pastor. You're a22:53gang member. Remember that.'"22:57Right? How sobering and humbling.23:00And he told me,23:01"You don't deserve respect. Gang23:03members, evil sinners, they don't23:05deserve it. So, what's what what you23:07tripping about?" You know,23:09I could take that two ways.23:11I could go, "But I'm the child of God."23:14And show my pride.23:15Or I can go,23:17"Amen. You're freeing me from things23:19that I I think I am." You know what I'm23:23so thankful about is having a church to23:26be able to humble me. Because I can't do23:29it. I can't do it. Right? Can't do it.23:32And23:33in the same stroke he talked about23:35Pastor John, said the same thing. You23:38know,23:39you're nothing. Right? He thinks he's23:42all good, but I know the real John Choi23:44facts.23:45Facts, I know the real John Choi, too.23:47And I know the real Johnny Chang, too.23:50And Pastor Kim does, too.23:52So, when when you acknowledge23:55these things, nothing becomes a problem.23:58It's so weird. He told me a story about a24:55sister, Pastor John.24:58She came24:59to church and she asked for guidance.25:02And he she,25:03you know, was arguing with her husband.25:06She said,25:07"I'm always wrong. In the church I'm25:10wrong, in front of God I'm wrong, in25:12front of my husband I'm wrong."25:15Right?25:16And, you know,25:17Pastor John saw her heart. He goes, "No,25:20sister, don't say that." She said, "What25:21do you mean?"25:22"No, you're always right."25:25Right? You're always right.25:28"No, no, I'm wrong. I'm wrong." "No, if25:30you were wrong, then you'd be able to25:32receive guidance. You'd be able to25:33receive what I'm telling you."25:36Right?25:37The fact that you think you're always25:39wrong means that25:41you think you're you don't you shouldn't25:42be wrong, aka you think you're right.25:45There's levels to this, guys.25:48So many levels to this, right? And we've25:51perfected it, genuinely.25:53Cuz as soon as he said that, I picked it25:55up, too.25:56You know?25:57Right?25:58There's there's you have to understand26:00that26:01many people don't accurately know26:03themselves clearly.26:05Understood?26:07There was other people that wanted to26:08leave the church, too.26:10Right? Somebody had26:12left a note for someone in, which is his26:14wife, you know, Linda.26:16Right? Which is like a sister to me.26:18She's a great person, amazing, super26:21straight edge, you know, straight to the26:22point, very pure.26:24Isaiah's mom.26:26And um26:28this person led26:30uh left a note and they said,26:32"I love that you guys talk about the26:33gospel, but all you talk about is the26:35gospel.26:36Feeding people milk is not enough. You26:38have to give them26:40Right?26:41Um meat.26:43So, what is the heart posture? I want26:45unlocks. Stop telling me the same ish.26:49I want to grow.26:50Do you understand what I'm saying?26:52That's the heart.26:53Y'all y'all the gospel has become so26:55minuscule to people.26:57They marginalize it, put it in a box,26:59and go, "Yeah."27:01Do you guys understand?27:02Right?27:04That the gospel27:06is the only thing27:08that matters.27:10It's not something small that you flick27:12away.27:13Understand?27:14So, what I what Pastor John said, which27:16was so true,27:18there are so many people27:21who he tells me, you know, he cautions27:23me, "Johnny, you really are talented in27:25the way you deliver things."27:28Right? He told me, "And you genuinely27:29make things make sense.27:31But I fear one thing.27:33There are people who in your27:35congregation, essentially, can idolize27:37worship."27:39And what I'm sorry, idolize wisdom27:42and knowledge.27:43And I was like, "That's true. I mean,27:44I've been seeing that, you know."27:46And he's like, "Yeah." And he's looking27:48out cuz he loves me.27:49Right? And so,27:51a lot of the times, people are that way,27:54too. Like, they want to they want27:56unlocks.27:58But, you know, when you look at their28:00spiritual life, they have zero28:02disciples.28:03They have no spiritual life.28:06In the pivotal moment, I thought about28:07it. Who really chooses their thoughts?28:10Even though they learn so much from me,28:13people still choose their thoughts in28:15the pivotal moment, don't they? So, then28:17what do they what do they really learn?28:19What did they really apply?28:21Nothing.28:22Do you guys understand what I'm saying?28:24Right?28:25I'm not saying this to condemn people.28:28I'm just saying, when people want to28:30grow, that's beautiful. That's28:33beautiful, beautiful.28:35But people want to stay that way.28:37They just want to know knowledge, and28:39they don't want to work. Like, somebody28:40who just reads a book, but doesn't apply28:42what they learned in that book.28:44What happens? It's just wasted energy.28:47It's wasted time.28:49Right?28:50So, we we need to honestly think deeply28:52here.28:54Because I care about you guys, and so28:55does the pastor.28:57Right? And I'm forever31:09thankful for that.31:10But what I want to see is also you guys31:15growing.31:16Not in my eyes.31:18But in a way that31:20you lean only on God. So many people31:23come to me every day, guys, and they31:25boost my heart. They try.31:28But they don't know that I know myself.31:30They don't know that that I'm genuinely31:33evil to the core.31:36You know what I'm saying?31:37Yesterday, too, you know, one of my31:39youngsters called me and31:41was like, "Hey, that one guy, you know,31:44he was saying stuff about you, the31:45villain guy, whatever." Like, I was just31:48like, "Oh my gosh, I knew it."31:50You know?31:52Right? And so31:54I was like, "Bro, just chill. Oh, he's31:56in the 818 and blah blah." They already31:58found all this stuff.31:59I was like, "Bro, it's just it's32:01literally online."32:04You know? Like just leave it alone.32:07Right? In my heart, like32:10if y'all caught that my energy shifted32:12when he was like, "I'll drop my32:13location." I was like, "Please don't."32:15Genuinely, don't do it.32:17And I was serious, like, don't do it.32:20And I calmed down because I don't want32:22it to I don't want them to take it32:23there.32:24So genuinely, it was very32:27weird how people don't know.32:29You know what I mean? And so32:31why I say this is because32:33I was like I thought back, you know, and32:36and at first I got angry at him for32:38telling me that,32:40right?32:40But then I thought about it. Like,32:42Johnny,32:43but you trained them to be like that.32:46And then I felt really like a godly32:48remorse.32:49You know what I'm saying?32:51Right? Like, I felt like,32:53dang, I led these people to be this way.32:56And32:57look at that. Like, well, how can I be32:59mad at them when they're just a33:00byproduct of what I told them to be?33:03So, it was just difficult.33:06I really saw myself yesterday, you know,33:07like more.33:09I'm like, man, I'm I'm just33:11people love me, sure,33:13but they don't understand like what goes33:15through my heart, what went through my33:17heart, what goes through my mind, and33:18things like that. It's not good. It's33:20not anything good. And I thought about33:22it, you know, even about that that kid,33:24you know, the Tyler kid. I was like, you33:25know what?33:26It's to be expected for him not to33:28listen to me.33:30Right? That was like the unlock. It's33:32expected.33:33Why he got to listen to you?33:36You're nothing but a stranger to him.33:38Genuinely. You're You're nothing33:40anyways. If he really knew who you were,33:44like,33:45that's that you're worse.33:48You understand what I'm saying? Right?33:50That's just what it comes down to at the33:52end of the day.33:53Right? You're worse than what people say33:55you are, prideful and what do you say,33:57hypocritical. Bro, you're a straight33:59murderer.34:00You're straight up evil. It was as34:09if I put my I took my heart and put it34:12on a scale again, and the scale said34:14zero, meaning you're nothing.34:16And I had to visualize that.34:18So, I say this to you guys because I34:20don't want you guys to I want you guys34:22to think about the scripture that I34:24posted in Deuteronomy chapter 8,34:2711 to 14.34:28God will really He will really really34:31really34:33lift you guys. He will He will multiply34:35you.34:36Whether it's you hit your new goals,34:37like brother Ty was saying, whether you34:39go to the gym and you're getting, you34:41know, a six-pack or gains and whatever,34:44like he will let you cuz he loves you.34:47The one thing I think God it doesn't34:49fear, but he's cautious about is,34:53you know,34:54is this heart of34:56like,34:57"Will you forget me in everything?"35:00Right?35:01Are you going to forget me if I give it35:03to you?35:04And can I be honest?35:06A lot of us do.35:08We do.35:09We get a little win, and we do.35:12You know? And so,35:14we have to think about those things.35:16Then how do you not forget God? Do you35:18Do you guys know how? He gives us the35:20antidote.35:22"I brought you35:24out of Egypt."35:26So, what do they have to carry in their35:27heart?35:29Egypt.35:30"Aw, I was a slave. A slave to what? Sin35:35and the world. I could never get myself35:38out of this.35:39I'm only out of this because of God."35:42It's what he says.35:44Right?35:45Read it.35:46Read verse 14 with me.35:48Right?35:49"And thine heart be lifted and thou35:51forget the Lord thy God, which brought35:54thee forth out of the land of Egypt from35:57the house of bondage."35:59So, if we read that in reverse, in order36:01to not forget the Lord, you have to36:03remember who you were bonded to, whether36:06it was your depressions, whether it was36:07codependency, you let that man use you,36:10you let that woman use you, whether it36:12was your argumentative, your36:14If you forget that,36:16you're royally effed.36:19That's what I'm saying.36:20Many of you guys, you learn the gospel36:22from me so deeply,36:24right?36:25But you forget who you are outside of36:28the gospel.36:29That's something you have to ponder36:31heavily.36:32Whenever36:34you get a win, a dub as we say, you have36:37to remember, mhm, this is coming to36:39someone like me?36:40I don't even deserve this, but Lord, you36:42gave it to me. I'm sorry.39:44After this, there was a feast of the39:46Jews and Jesus went up to the to39:48Jerusalem.39:49Now, there is at Jerusalem by the sheep39:52market a pool which is called in Hebrew39:54tongue Bethesda having five porches.39:57In these lay a great multitude of39:59impotent folk of blind, halt, withered40:02waiting for the moving of the water.40:04For an angel went down at a certain40:07season into the pool and troubled the40:09water. Whosoever then first after the40:12troubling of the water stepped in was40:13made whole of whatsoever disease he had.40:16And a certain man was there40:18which had an infirmity 38 years.40:22This man40:23had an infirmity for 38 years.40:26Understand, guys?40:28Right?40:2938 years.40:31Now,40:32that means he was paralyzed for 3840:35years.40:36Okay?40:37Right here, verse 6 to 8, John said I40:40mean Jesus says, "When Jesus saw him40:42lie, meaning laying down, and knew that40:45he had been now a long time in that40:46case." So, he knew he was like that for40:4838 years. He said unto him,40:50"Wilt thou be made whole?" Do you want40:52to be made whole?40:54Verse 7, the impotent man said, "Sir, I40:57have no man when the water is troubled40:59to put me in the pool."41:02Notice how he he doesn't lead with yes.41:05He leads with the red flags.41:08"Sir, no one's going to help me41:11put me into the water."41:12And then he says, "When I'm coming,41:15another step down before me." So, even41:16if I go, someone gets there before me.41:19Right after that, verse 8, Jesus says,41:22"Rise, take up thy bed and walk."41:24The heart posture41:27that his heart was,41:28his paralyzed41:30didn't just come41:32to him physically.41:34The realization that he was paralyzed41:36spiritually, too, was there. He had a41:39paralyzed heart, too.41:41In that, he's saying it, "I can't do41:44anything.41:45Even if I want to, I can't do it." Do41:48you guys understand the heart posture?41:50And that's when God worked.41:53You can't come to the position of41:56"I can still do it. Just tell me how."41:58He didn't say that.42:00Notice how he didn't say, "Jesus, tell42:02me how. Can you help me get in there?"42:05He didn't even ask that. He knew that42:08nobody could help him, not even himself.42:11That was his heart.42:13And then Jesus knew, ah, this man's42:15ready.42:17And he tells him, rise, take up thy bed42:19and walk.42:21You know what's so crazy?42:23This dude doesn't question him.42:26He could have been like, hey sir,42:28uh, I don't know who you are, but I42:30don't know if you know,42:32um, I've tried that for 38 years. He42:35didn't even add any of his thoughts.42:38He just He just did it.42:40Why? Cuz verse 9 tells us,42:43and immediately the man was made whole,42:46took up his bed and walked.42:48So, what did he do?42:50Made whole first, right? Sanctification42:53is not a process, got it? Immediately,42:56got it? That's where people miss.42:58And then made whole, right? Then he took43:02up his bed, then he walked. Notice the43:03sequence.43:05Made perfected and whole first,43:07then took up his bed and walked.43:11That's how spiritual life should be.43:14You're perfected, but you have to43:16remember who you are. Why does he tell43:19him to take that bed up?43:21If it was me, why the hell would I carry43:23my bed that I peed in, probably pooped43:26in, spat in, slept in, all these43:29dust mites, 38 years.43:32Do you understand what I'm saying?43:34It was for him to see, ah, this is who43:37you are, paraplegic man.43:40You're nothing. Remember, I made you43:43whole. Every time you look at this43:45thing,43:46you realize who you are, nothing.43:49Look at this thing, remember that you're43:51nothing, and remember that I'm all43:53things.43:55All things.43:56Right?43:57And so, he could have easily said, yeah,43:59leave your bed, leave everything else.44:02But he didn't. He said, take it with44:04you.44:06Right?44:07You guys all have a bed.44:09Your bed that you were stuck in.44:12Maybe not physically like this man, but44:14emotionally, mentally, spiritually.44:17HundoeP.44:19Whatever bed it was that was stinky and44:21rotten, whether it was your depression,44:23your lasciviousness, your lust, you were44:26stuck in it. Some of you still are.44:28But rise. Take up that bed and walk.44:32It's not even just part of your44:33testimony. It's to remind him who he is.44:37Me, too.44:39I was a person genuinely44:41who can only die.44:43Guys, no one gets shot at 16 for no44:46reason.44:47Do you understand?44:48I was running wild back then, genuinely.44:51I really was.44:53Right?44:54You guys have seen people come in here44:56from my past be like, I know about you,44:58Johnny. I heard about you. There was a45:01lady that straight up didn't want to45:02take my guidance but she because she's45:04like, I'm from where you're at. We have45:06mutuals. I don't know if any of you guys45:07remember this.45:09And she's like, and I didn't want to45:10take what you said because I know who45:12you actually are.45:14They call you ill, blah blah blah. Like,45:16I remember you, Johnny. I heard a lot45:17about you.45:19You guys remember that, right? And so,45:21yeah. They they they didn't like me45:24because they knew, you know. That45:26person,45:27right? I mean, I don't I didn't know her45:30name, but I had a hunch. But the thing about the51:26frustration and You know, the Bible says51:29if you if you think or hate someone in51:31your heart if you think of murdering51:33someone in your heart, you've already51:35committed murder.51:36Right, guys?51:37So, how do you escape that? I couldn't.51:41Right? I would literally have murder on51:43my mind, right? And I'm like, "Dang God,51:46why can't I stop this?" And I went to51:48him many times about it.51:50Many times.51:51But then I realized,51:53okay, you know,51:55I accept I accept it, you know,51:58and I move forward. And that's the one52:00thing that every time I get praised,52:03every time I see people cry,52:05right? Every time, you know, they come52:08to me and they're like, "Thank you,52:09Johnny. Like I'm I'm reviewing the52:11Orlando vlog. It's so good."52:14And people are like appreciating, saying52:16thank you, and I'm just always thinking52:17like,52:18"Nah, you have to thank Jesus. Like52:20don't thank me. Genuinely thank Jesus52:23for changing a person like me. Cuz you52:25would never be thanking me. You would be52:26like pointing at me, giving me the death52:28penalty."52:30Genuinely,52:31you know? I'm just different, right? So,52:35I think52:36at the end of the day,52:38I say all this to say, you have to52:40remember who you truly are without God.52:43Not in a condemning way.52:45Not in a way that makes you, you know,52:47hate yourself,52:48but in a way that goes, "Wow,52:51I'm saved and God saved a person like52:53me."52:54Then everything becomes grateful.52:57Everything becomes gratitude.52:59Genuinely, guys, everything becomes53:01gratitude at that point. Like54:06I am that person and yet yet but God54:11still54:13loves me.54:14He still takes care of me.54:16He still blesses me.54:19You know?54:20Like we all, you know, go against God.54:24Like54:25but when I start to see people like that54:28brother, you know, in the chat, that54:30one, you know, yesterday and these54:32people who think they're good, the only54:34thing I see is that they have forgotten54:36how bad they are.54:38Good people are not truly good. They54:40just forget how bad they are.54:42That's it.54:44There is no such thing as a good person.54:46It's just a bad person who forgot how54:48bad they were.54:51Genuinely.54:52That's that's what a good a54:54quote-unquote good person is. Cuz the54:56Bible is clear. There is none righteous,54:58no, not one.55:00But they think that they're righteous55:01because they forgot who they actually55:03are. They don't take Deuteronomy 855:06clear.55:07They go out, they judge people, they55:09talk trash about people, they gossip55:11about people. Why?
