Let's1:32get right with God together. Woo!1:36Guys, and as you're listening to this,1:39you probably missed the streamathon this1:40morning. Actually, depends when you1:42watch this podcast, but it's every1:44single morning for the rest of this1:45month. And wow, going through it1:48already, I feel like a new man.1:50>> Yeah. God, it's been so good. This is1:52day 11.1:53>> Yeah,1:54>> it's been very transformative.1:56>> Super good. And honestly, um how there's2:00so many people using the app. They're2:01loving it. So,2:02>> yeah,2:02>> genuinely helping people.2:04>> You know what's crazy? There's over2:0675,000 people who have already2:08downloaded this app. It's so nuts, bro.2:12>> And I'm just loving on the daily2:13devotions, you can read PE people can2:15comment so you can see the community2:17>> and you people are writing starting to2:18write paragraphs.2:20loving the daily devotions.2:21>> Yeah. Hundo P. Hundo P.2:23>> And I think it's really cool. To be2:24honest, I never had a Bible morning2:27routine, but following the app, I2:29genuinely I wake up in the morning2:30instead of doom scrolling, I read the2:32daily devotion, and then I start reading2:34the Bible. And it's2:35>> that's fire. Do you take notes from the2:37daily devil or do you take it from the2:39Bible?2:39>> I or both?2:41>> I do it from the Bible part mainly. M2:44>> the daily like I don't have too many2:46notes on the daily devotion cuz it's so2:48thorough and I'm just like oh I2:49understand this you know2:50>> the Bible I'm like I don't understand2:52this I'm going to ask Johnny later I2:53don't understand this I'm going to type2:54this into gospel bot later2:55>> but I know a lot of people who from the2:57daily devotional are writing down the2:59oneline bangers that we have and they're3:01just like remembering it and I see it3:03more in the Discord stage where they'll3:05they'll literally put the oneline banger3:07>> and I'm like what? So they're they're3:09taking notes of the banger and that's3:11because it does make sense. Any other3:13person when they're sitting there like3:15if it's outside of even Christianity3:17there's always that oneliner right where3:19like someone will Charles whatever3:21>> trust your thoughts.3:23>> Yeah. Like one of those3:24>> that's the one that sticks out to me.3:25>> Yeah. But I'm saying like but you have3:27other motivate like David Gogggins3:28probably has this you know3:30>> who going to carry the boats.3:31>> Yeah. Whatever it is like people will3:33remember that. So it's really cool to3:34see that kind of like correlate through3:36the daily devotion.3:37>> Wow. That's crazy. Johnny's Johnny's3:39oneliners. Well, name a Johnny oneliner.3:41>> Uh, don't trust your thoughts.3:43>> No, I use that one.3:44>> Um, if you hang around a barber shop for3:47too long, chances are you're going to3:49get a haircut.3:50>> I got another one. Another one is3:52different P's.3:54>> You can do that with every letter.3:55Different A's or even B's.3:57>> Yeah. If it's not If it's not3:59reconciliation, it's redirection.4:01Different Rs.4:03>> Yeah.4:04>> Double R.4:04>> The Johnny alphabet book.4:07>> R.4:08Just kidding. What else? What else?4:09>> It is the best way to start your morning4:10though, genuinely, cuz I remember when4:12we were we were doing those scripts and4:14filming the videos for it and it was4:15like um every morning the first thing4:17you grab is Instagram and now you've4:18already given your first moments of the4:20day to the world. And I'm like that is4:21just so true because it's like the4:24second I wake up I'm doom scrolling4:25already or just even before I get out of4:27bed I'll check my whatever and then your4:29mind is already in this place of like oh4:30these people are making money. This4:32person just fell off a cliff. There's4:33horrible news here. It's just like all4:35this crazy stuff versus starting and4:36it's just a bad start to your day4:38honestly. But4:39>> and even though if it's 5 minutes like4:41you could think about it as like I could4:42give 5 minutes to the algorithm or I can4:44give five minutes to God, right? So it's4:46like it's really really cool.4:48>> You're already giving up the five4:49minutes. It's like take it back, reclaim4:51the five minutes.4:52>> Yep. That's that's a bar though. Uh uh4:54give it to God or the algorithm.4:56>> Yeah. The other thing I was going to say4:58is I'm gonna beat up the developer who5:00invented the streak mechanism because5:02I've lost my streak so many times now.5:04>> Dude, so many people have been5:05commenting that. We want to apologize.5:07We're getting on top of that, guys.5:08Genuinely.5:09>> No, no, I lost it because I'll miss a5:11day.5:11>> Yeah, that's why everyone misses it cuz5:12they they won't get the notification or5:14something. It's like that's the point is5:16you got to make God a habit in your5:17life. It's like yes, we help you and5:18build all the tools and we're trying and5:20you got to turn your notifications on,5:22but it's like it's also about kind of5:23doing it every morning and checking in.5:25It's like you're willing to check in5:26with your Snapchat streaks. Why wouldn't5:27you check in with God? Kind of the whole5:29thing.5:29>> Turn your noties on.5:30>> Yeah, turn the noties on. Also, yeah, I5:32think we're going to add a premium.5:33>> We're adding a bunch of5:34>> for for the premium members. There's a5:35lot of pro features. So, you can do the5:37whole app for free, but then there's a5:38lot of pro features. And I think for one5:39of them, we're going to let people5:41>> get their streaks back. You can have5:43like 48 hours to do your streak or5:44something.5:45>> $1,000. I mean I mean uh u sorry intru.5:49I'm just kidding.5:50>> Well, let's uh get into the episode.5:53Today we'll be talking about how others5:56Stop Jeremy5:57>> doing what?5:58>> Stop. You're gonna get me. I'm going to6:00just read off of this guys. Today we'll6:02be talking about why Christians seem to6:04judge6:05>> more than others.6:06>> How to tell if correction is coming from6:08a place of love or a place of envy or a6:10place of hate. And towards the end, I'm6:13going to show you guys why rejection and6:14being hated can actually be really good6:16for a believer. Welcome back to another6:19episode on the Unlearned Wisdom Podcast6:21with yours truly, Pastor Johnny Chang,6:23where every episode is a gospel-6:25centered lesson that you could apply to6:26your life today.6:28>> Today,6:30>> like, comment, subscribe,6:31>> and download the audio episode.6:33>> Can I share with you guys something6:35crazy that happened this week? I'm not6:38going to say where I went. I went to6:40another place was outside outside of6:43California. Okay, Texas. And um what I6:46did was we went to go meet multiple6:49pastors6:51and bro, okay, what inspired me to talk6:55about this episode was because of what6:58happened like literally7:01two days ago, three days ago, I would7:03say.7:04>> I like these types of episodes.7:05>> Yeah, it it was literally crazy. So, I7:08basically went we went to kind of like a7:10a pastoral conference where only pastors7:13could kind of meet, right? And we work a7:16lot of times cross-denominationally.7:18And so, it was just a pastor who saw my7:22stuff, had kind of like a medium-sized7:24church. When I say medium, it's probably7:26like7:28500 to like 800 congregation.7:31>> Pretty big.7:31>> Pretty big. But like I think that's kind7:34of small for certain states, right, that7:36are really big. Okay. So for me, he7:39comes up to me and you know something's7:42bad when you shake someone's hand and7:44they go,7:47I I know you.7:48>> Oh gosh.7:49>> So you're I'm on I'm I'm like, "All7:51right, hold up." Was that one of like I7:53know you or was it like I got a bone to7:56pick with you? And sure enough, it was a7:58ladder.7:59So the pastor was like, he was like,8:01"Hey, um, you know, I had seen a lot of8:04a lot of scripture and you talk about8:07being righteous. You talk about being8:09holy and we're in front of like 30 other8:12pastors by the or like some of them were8:14like deacons, but like let's say church8:16elders, leadership, right? And so the8:19other pastor, Korean pastor, he's just8:21like, "What's going on?" And then this8:23guy, he's obviously Americanized and8:25then it's me and then all these other8:27Americanized pastors. So we sit there8:30and he's like, "You talk about8:32sanctification as not being a process.8:36You talk about, you know, a lot of8:37things that we feel like are very8:39heretical." And I knew that Holy Spirit8:44would allow our cross to pass to to pass8:47to to cross our paths to cross one day.8:50And I was like, "Okay." And he's like,8:52"Today's the day." Right. Oh my gosh.8:55>> He's like, "Put him." Uh, put him. It8:57>> sounds like it.8:58>> That's what it was. And I was like,8:59>> when he said we, he had other pastors9:01standing behind him. Yes.9:02>> And they were all ready. They were9:03>> I think they were like part of it. Like,9:05okay. So, what people don't know is9:06there's a lot of pastoral islands and9:08there's also a lot of pastoral clicks,9:10right? Like most pastors will know other9:12pastors and they'll be like, "Yo, like9:14what you think about this?" Like it's9:16just part of it, right? They're circuits9:17essentially is what they call them. And9:19so it was just funny like I get there9:22I'm thinking okay we're going to go9:24we're going to you know they're going to9:25have me as a speaker great you know I'm9:27going to I'm going to talk but it was9:29more of like we're going to we're going9:31to check your stuff before we allow you9:33to speak which a lot of people do right9:35you have to protect the sheep I9:36understand that aspect it's okay but the9:39way he came was very raw right and I was9:42like okay I like that and so when the9:45thing the thing that he was debating9:46with me about was specifically first9:48Corin Corinthians 6:9 and 10. So he goes9:51and that's the famous scripture that9:53says, "Know you not that the unrighteous9:55shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Be9:56not deceived. Neither fornicators, not9:58nor adulterers, nor backbiters, nor you10:00know affeminate, nor thieves, nor10:02covetous, nor drunkards shall inherit10:04the kingdom of God." Right? Those are10:05the two verses. And so explain that to a10:08regular person how they would view that.10:10>> So they view that as you better do good10:12works. If you're still doing any of10:14those things, you're not getting to10:15heaven. It literally says, "Know you not10:17that the unrighteous, so if you're doing10:18any of those unrighteous things,10:20therefore you are an unrighteous10:21individual, you're not going to get to10:23heaven."10:24>> So he's like, "Where do you then like10:27have the nerve?" Like it was this type10:29of energy like where do you have this10:30nerve to say that we're perfected and10:33righteous right now? Because you don't10:34understand the difference between10:36sanctification as a process and10:38positional sanctification and10:39progressive sanctification. He's like10:41throwing out these big words, right?10:42Which aren't really big. if you're10:43study, you understand what that is. And10:45so I'm sitting there and I'm just like10:46kind of smiling, you know,10:48>> and he's sitting there and he has this10:50look that's like, I got you like, you10:53know, it's like it's like, yeah, what10:55you going to say? Holy Spirit vested in10:57me to tell you. And I'm just like, for10:59sure, pastor. And I appreciate that. And11:01he kind of looked at me. He's like, so11:02what's your what's like your rebuttal?11:04And I sat there and I was like two11:05things, right? I'm like, I can I can sit11:07there and give them the next verse,11:09which is verse 11, or I can go and11:14listen to what Holy Spirit was telling11:16me, which is through scripture, which11:17was Proverbs. It says like when you see11:20a fool, right, don't like entertain a11:24fool because you'll become like a fool,11:26right? And I'm not trying to be11:27disrespectful, but I could see that he11:29already kind of wrote me off. He had11:30these preconceived notions about me. So,11:33I decided to kind of do a hybrid. I11:35went, "Well, verse 11 says, "But, right,11:39which it negates everything." And then11:40he's like, "Okay, all right. Well, all11:42let's look at it." He busts out his11:43Bible and this dude's like maybe mid50s,11:48early 60s, right? And he's like, he11:51bustes it open. He highlights 9 and 10.11:54And I see like 11 is not highlighted.11:56And so, and I said, "Can you read that?"11:58And he had KJV version, too. And he12:00goes, "And such were some of you, but ye12:03are washed. Ye are sanctified. Ye are12:05justified. So I sat there and I looked12:08at him and I said, "Can you explain to12:09me what washed is and what tense is?"12:11Because when I look at it, pastor, I see12:14it as already washed. Washed means it's12:16already if I wash something, did you12:18wash your clothes? Yes, they're washed12:19means they're already done.12:21Sanctification says sanctified, past12:23tense, already sanctified. So maybe you12:25could help me with this. And he's like,12:27I will for sure help you. and he like12:28pulls out his his glasses and he puts on12:30his glasses and he's looking at it and12:32he's reading it and he's reading it and12:33he's reading it and he goes, "Well, it12:37doesn't mean that we could just do12:39whatever we want." And I'm like, "Okay,12:41I I understand that, but do you12:42understand why I drew the conclusion of12:44why we're sanctified now? Because it12:46says it right here." And then he goes,12:48"Well, what's your point?" And I'm like,12:51"Wait, but your point was to say that I"12:53and I it got kind of like convoluted,12:55but at the end of it, he just kept going12:57on. He's like, "You know, that's the12:59thing. You know, how long you been a13:00Christian?" You know, I'm like, "1013:02years." So, he's he's like pocket13:03watching me, right? How long you been a13:05Christian? I've been 10 years. He goes,13:07"Okay, how long have you actually have13:08you been to seminary?" "Yes, I have."13:10"Are you actually ordained?" "Yes, I13:11am." "Okay, so what kind of ministry?13:13Are you a sending ministry? Are you a13:15planting ministry? Are you a you know,"13:16and I'm like, "Well, we are ascending13:18church and also I do prison ministry.13:20That's my main ministry. I started13:22there. I haven't stopped doing that."13:23And he goes, "Okay, so you just hit the13:25influencer stuff like recently. what's13:27going he's like checking me right13:29everything at the end of it when that13:32thought came up that scripture came up13:34of Proverbs of saying don't be like them13:37I I was like you know what God I'm going13:39to just let him win everything like I13:42sat there and I was like I'm I'm going13:44to agree with everything he says just to13:46see what it would be like. So I sat13:48there and I went man pastor you know13:50what you're right. That's all I said.13:53And he's like he like I changed my tone13:55right. I was like, "You're absolutely13:56right." He goes, "So, you believe and13:58you agree with the Holy Spirit today14:01that you've said some things that were14:03incorrect?" I said, "Absolutely."14:05And he's like, "Okay." And I could see14:08him like life coming out of him. He's14:10like, "Okay, yeah. Well, all right. So,14:12sanctification is progressive, right?14:14It's it's not it's not just positional.14:16It's progressive." Yes, it is. Amen. You14:19should teach me the ways. What is it14:20that I need to You need to read Romans14:22more. You need to read First14:24Thessalonians more. Absolutely, pastor.14:26Thank you so much. And I was doing this14:28and literally bro was like my best14:31friend at the end of it. He was like,14:33you you're very humble and and what I14:36realized was this. When a person wants14:39to judge you and debate you, but once14:41you sit there and go, you're absolutely14:43right. There is no I agree with your14:45judgment. Everything is good. They14:48immediately lose interest. And then I14:50realized they're not after the truth.14:52they're after. You need to agree with me14:55cuz I and my version of the truth is14:57right. And then I was like, dude, this14:59is crazy. Like it was such an unlock.15:02And I sat there and I'm like, wow, this15:05and then and then the thing that he said15:06that really broke my heart was he goes,15:09you know, for a long time like I've been15:11having the Holy Spirit speak to me and15:13the Holy Spirit told me to tell you and15:15I knew that the Holy Spirit would change15:17your heart to agree and to follow God15:20and to truly repent and brother. other15:22and he's like squeezing my trap, you15:23know? He's like, "You repented today."15:25And in my head, I was like, "Bro, I'm15:27playing you. You're talking about Holy15:30Spirit, but you you can't even see that15:32what I'm doing right now is I'm just15:33agreeing with you so that to expose a15:36heart that you want me to agree with15:38you. That's all it is." And they were15:40like, "That's the state of Christianity15:43nowadays." It's like, oh, if you agree15:46with me and what I think because I'm15:48studied and I know what's up and I I15:50know the Septuagen and I exedute15:52scripture and I I'm right and I know15:54what's up. So, if you go against me,15:56you're a heretic. And I'm like, so I'm15:58going to just follow you then. And when16:00I did all of that stuff, I became his16:02best friend.16:05I'm finally bringing after service to16:06Europe this June. After service is a16:09free live event where you're going to16:10get a sermon from me, a live Q&A, a meet16:13and greet, and basically we're bringing16:15the online community offline for you16:17guys to come and fellowship. I'm coming16:19to Stockholm, Sweden June 4th, which is16:21a Thursday. And we're hitting also16:24Amsterdam, which is Saturday, June 6th,16:26and Sunday, June 7th. For times,16:28locations, and details, RSVP through16:30email link in the description. I'm super16:33excited to see you guys there. Pack it16:35out, tell your friends. Let's go16:37>> in that situation, right?16:40>> Is that person unsavable because he's16:43going to walk away from that? And I'm16:46only just assuming maybe he'll wake up16:47one day and be like, "Dude, actually16:48that guy16:50>> did say something that kind of struck16:51me. Now when I read what he says, my16:54perspective changed." But overall,16:55>> is that guy unsavable?16:57>> No one's unsavable. But the issue is you17:01can expose things. You can see where17:03their heart posture is. If that heart17:05doesn't change by the grace of God,17:08they're literally it it just makes sense17:10why everyone throws the word false17:12prophet, false teacher around.17:15Basically, false teacher is not you17:17don't agree with scripture anymore.17:19False teacher is you don't agree with my17:21interpretation of what scripture is.17:23That's what it is nowadays.17:25>> It's like I think that I know what's up.17:28I did my stuff. I learned everything. If17:32you don't put in the work or you like I17:34know what's up. If if it doesn't match17:36me who is still you at the center of it17:38and you as a judge then basically you're17:42going to be written off. It gets to a17:44point where I think it's like pride,17:46right? It's like you you can't listen if17:49that's the case. But when I look at him,17:52there are things that he was saying that17:54was leaking of his heart too. He was17:56like this is why people shouldn't be17:58platformed. And I'm like, why do you18:00think of that? Why are you mentioning my18:02followers? Right? He asked me, how many18:05followers do you have? I'm like, why18:06does that even matter? Why? Like, and I18:09realized like more than you.18:12>> But they say that because that's like18:16their deepest fear. I think what they18:18want is like like when someone calls18:20someone fake, right? I kind of thought18:22about it like when I call other when I18:24was in the streets and I was like that18:25foo's fake. Two things would happen.18:28fear and pride and I'll explain pride18:30would be like dang I'm not like this guy18:32but the other side of the my heart would18:34be like dude I hope I never end up like18:36this dude so there is this heart of like18:39really trying to maintain so when18:41someone goes how many followers do you18:43have it's two parts it's I want that18:46many followers they should be listening18:48to me and I'll confirm why I I came to18:50this conclusion because afterwards bro18:52literally was like you should invite me18:55onto your podcast18:57You should have me come on live. I'm not19:00God is my witness. You should come have19:03me and we should talk about this because19:05I want other brothers and sisters to see19:06that you're not this arrogant person.19:08I'm like, dang. So, you thought I was19:09arrogant. You thought I'm not qualified.19:11You think my platform is not I don't19:13deserve it. You don't Where is God in19:15all of this? You don't see all of that19:17stuff. And that's when I realized like19:19that's what he actually wants. And he's19:21like, "Do you would you agree to have me19:23on your platform?" for him and I was19:24like I'll think about it pastor19:27you know but at the end of the day it's19:29like19:29>> you should invite him on but you're not19:31there it's just Aaron you and I skipped19:33that day you know Pokemon19:36>> Pokemon's demonic but so it's it's just19:39you know I was able to see like yo this19:42is something that's so good they're19:45judging based off of I love you but the19:48real heart is not it's more of like I'm19:51going to see if your theology matches my19:54theology cuz somehow I'm human and I19:56can't be flawed and my theology is19:58perfect. And if it doesn't match what I20:00think that is, you're effed basically.20:02>> Okay. So,20:05just playing internet goblin here. Yes,20:07sir.20:07>> Yeah. I'm on your side by the way.20:09>> I know. I know. So, here we go.20:10>> A lot.20:13>> I'm not racist, but No, I'm just20:15kidding.20:16But20:18as I say, but20:20>> the first thing someone is going to say20:22that is in that prideful position is,20:24"Oh, so then Johnny, why is your way the20:26right way?" Cuz I I20:27>> I never said my way is the right way20:29though. That's the difference. I just20:31preach20:32>> and I believe God will correct where he20:34needs to correct. Okay. But then that20:36pastor could be the one that's20:38correcting you. Sure. But look at the20:39fruit though.20:40>> The fruit is like we addressed the20:42situation. We went to scripture. But how20:45how does it shift when I go everything20:47you said is right? Forget the scripture.20:50Everything you said is right. Yeah. See,20:52that's different, right? We're going to20:54address the scripture. That's what it20:56is. And honestly, it takes a specific20:58type of person to watch another person21:02check out all their theology and be21:04like, "Yeah, he's wrong." If you're21:06really preaching the gospel, I'm just21:07going to keep it real. You have no time21:10to do all of those things. Jesus didn't21:12go to the the he didn't go to the21:14Pharisees. The Pharisees came to him.21:16Jesus was too busy doing miracles,21:19preaching the gospel, and doing all21:20that. Of course, we're not I'm not21:21Jesus. Neither are you guys. But we have21:23him in our heart. And what if we're21:25truly obedient to him? His Bible21:27literally says, "Seek ye first first21:30priority, the kingdom of God, and his21:33righteousness, and all else will be21:35added unto you." These people want to21:37come up to me and say stuff about me.21:38I'm like, "Bro, I don't even know who21:39you are. People send me videos. It's21:42almost like people make videos about me21:43daily. And I'm like, I don't even know21:45who these people are, respectfully. Why?21:47Because we're too busy trying to go to21:49Sweden. We're too busy trying to preach21:50the gospel. We're too busy trying to21:52create an app to make people get closer21:54to the gospel. I don't understand how21:56anybody I've never been able to do that21:58where I sit there and I go, I'm going to22:00jump in a comment section and let them22:02know my two cents. Whereas, if you're22:04sitting there and you're spending 2022:06minutes like reviewing somebody's video,22:09why not spend 20 minutes preaching the22:11gospel? I think it would be way more22:13productive, way more effective. And22:15that's just what I've been taught. Even22:16at my church, we don't go and go, "That22:18pastor's wrong, that pastor's wrong,22:20that pastor wrong. We're right." Like,22:21no one ever has that energy. It's more22:23of like none of us are right. We're all22:25trying to live spiritual life. We're all22:27under grace. We could mess up. We could22:29air. We could have all types of all22:31types of stuff like that. And yet Jesus22:33Christ leveled the playing field for all22:35of us. So let's just focus on Jesus,22:37what his message was, him preaching the22:39gospel, and that's that. And I mean,22:42that's just what we do, you know? So22:44>> yeah,22:45>> it's kind of interesting, too, that22:48you've been doing this for 10 years, but22:49it's only until you have followers.22:52>> And obviously, it's cuz you're putting22:53yourself on the on the internet.22:55>> And I think it is because people are22:57seeing for me, right? I went to church22:59my whole life too till well not my whole23:00life but till I was like 1823:02>> and it was it just and then it was only23:06until you explained the Bible to me in a23:09way that I was like wait a second this23:11makes a lot more sense than what I was23:13taught23:13>> honestly Jeremy did it change your life23:15for real23:16>> changed my life23:16>> 100%23:17>> and so I I see that change like it's23:19growing so fast because it's changing23:21people's lives you're simplifying it in23:23a way that makes sense for people and I23:25think that23:27>> I can only imagine that there's people23:29that are watching a clip and going to23:31their pastor who's not teaching it23:33necessarily the same way and being like,23:35"Who's this guy right here with tattoos?23:38What he's saying kind of makes sense to23:39me, but I have questions." And then if23:41they're not able to answer or they go,23:42"Oh, he's so wrong. You got to watch out23:44for her. That guy's probably not a23:45pastor. Look at him. He's got tattoos.23:48He's just an influencer."23:50>> Like, you know what I'm saying? So, I23:51can see how maybe that's also happening,23:54which is why there's people that are23:55upset because they're probably they're23:58probably getting challenged by their own23:59congregations. And I'll be honest, I've24:01definitely talked to people in the in24:02the CO community that say, "I can't go24:04to my church anymore. Doesn't make24:06doesn't it doesn't hit the same."24:08>> So, I can only imagine24:10>> how many pastors say that. Yeah, that's24:12facts.24:13>> So, what I what I noticed with them is24:16like why Christians, these are leaders,24:18Christians seem to judge others more24:22than just regular normal atheists or24:24just people of the world, secular,24:25whatever. and even just other religions24:27in general, right? We have that kind of24:29stigma that Christians were bet we're24:32holier than thou and we judge others.24:34And I realized this pastor was quoting24:37scripture. This pastor was legit busting24:39open his Bible looked like ripped up.24:42Like it was so old. He was he studied24:44for sure. But I realize why his judgment24:46came and people would say it's pride,24:48but we got to peel that layer back.24:50People get prideful simply because they24:53forget that they need grace too.24:56>> At the end of the day, that pastor,24:59anyone here, any pastor,25:02you start to judge other people when you25:04realize you grew in faith by grace. You25:07went to church by grace. Cuz there's a25:09lot of people out here who don't have a25:10church. People in Congo getting their25:12heads chopped off just to even express25:14their faith. Muslim countries where25:16they're literally getting stoned,25:17exiled, executed, all that just to25:20express their faith. And we're over here25:22like being able to debate and judge25:24people online is kind of wild. It's25:26because we forgot our grace. We forgot25:29that we need grace. And so when you25:31think I got smarter because, you know, I25:33I I I you know,25:35>> when I got I got smarter because of me25:37and I forget that I got smarter because25:39of grace or I walk more up right now and25:41I don't sin as much because of grace,25:43not because of my behavior management25:45and my discipline. That's when you start25:47to judge other people and go, "How come25:49you're not doing what I'm doing?" And it25:51was just that type of energy. So25:53Christians judge solely because they25:56forget that they need grace, too. And we25:59need grace every single day if God26:01doesn't hold on to you. He lets you go26:03for like a month. You will literally go26:07back to dirt. You will go back. A a dog26:10will return to his vomit. You have to26:11realize that God is always holding on to26:13you. He's always protecting you, right?26:15And people say this all the time, too.26:17Like I tell them in my Discord26:18community, I go, "You guys who worship26:21and sing and all that, first and26:22foremost, God had to give you the grace26:24to have beautiful lungs because not26:25everyone can. I can't sing for Jack26:27Diddley squat. I ain't got no pipes at26:29all. Right? But people literally can26:31sing. And they start to forget, oh, it's26:33because of me. I'm amazing. Right? But26:35let's say you wake up, right? Let's say26:38you don't even wake up. You can't even26:39worship God. You can't go and sing in26:41the choir. You can't, you know, praise26:42and worship God. Let's say you do wake26:44up, but you get in your car and you want26:46to drive to your church to go and26:48practice for worship. And then you get26:49t-boned. God doesn't protect your car to26:52and from church. You're not going to be26:54able to preach. You're not going to be26:55able to sing. you're not going to be26:56able to worship and praise. Everything26:58starts with grace, right? But the issue27:01is people forget grace. And what they27:03try to do is they try to correct. And I27:05don't think correction is bad, right? I27:07don't think correction is bad. I think27:09people should be corrected. But what27:11people do, and I use this analogy where27:13they're literally grabbing medicine.27:15It's like taking medicine. If you27:17correct without love and without grace,27:18it's like taking medicine and just27:20throwing it at somebody, right? Yeah.27:22it's probably good for them and it'll27:23heal them, but you're like, "Take this,27:24you filthy." And you just throw it at27:26their face. Like, there's a way to27:28deliver those things. There's a way to27:29go, "Hey, I was also sick one time. I27:32understand that that person's going27:33through CO. I went through COVID. That27:35person's struggling with X, Y, and Z.27:36Let me help them versus like, what are27:38you doing? I Yeah, I was sick, but I got27:40over it here and you just chuck it at27:41them, right?" And so, that's a W27:43analogy, by the way. But basically,27:45that's just what it is at the end of the27:47day. Clippy bars clips. man man glazed27:50his own analogy halfway through the27:52sentence I don't care27:54>> I don't care so what so what27:56>> so when you first became a Christian27:58there was also a period of your life the28:00the other thing too that people forget28:01is like you have all these experiences28:03and and28:05understand this cuz you went through it28:06yourself like you were that28:07self-righteous person28:09>> not me though when I became a Christian28:10I was never like that so I just learned28:12a little bit better28:13>> amen28:18When did you notice when were you able28:21to reflect on your own28:22self-righteousness when you first became28:24a Christian? And where do you think it28:26like like seeped in?28:28>> It's when you lose things like when28:30everyone starts off self-righteous. It's28:32not that's a normal thing. Um it's when28:36I was like when pastor challenged me and28:38said, "Where are your disciples?"28:41And I had none. When he was like, "Where28:43are your fruits?" And I had none. when28:45he was basically like, "Do you not see28:47that you're wrong?" And everyone28:50obviously is telling me that I'm wrong28:52and then he's hitting that pain point of28:54like, "It's not that you don't want to28:55be wrong. It's too painful for you to be28:57wrong." And I'm like, "Dang, he hit me28:59right in the cuz it's true. It's not29:01that I don't want to be wrong. I think29:02I'm okay with taking accountability.29:04It's the fact that I feel exposed after29:06and I felt like weak." So to answer your29:09question, I think the first time was29:12when I would go to church. It was like29:14the first like couple months I had29:16already had to wrestle with that where29:18pastor would say like, "You think you29:20love me now, Johnny, but you're not29:22going to like me after a while." And I29:23was like, "What?" And I couldn't29:24understand it. And then when he started29:26to check me and chastise me and like29:28correct me, I did start to develop the29:30heart. And then he would lean into that29:32like, "Do you do you still say that you29:34love me?" And he's just like smiling and29:36I'm like, "No." You know, like I'd be29:39mad and I would be like, "Huh?" And then29:41I would try to blame him and he would29:43call that heart out. Like you want to29:45blame me, right? Like you think if I was29:47just nicer to you, you think if I didn't29:49make you scrub toilets you and I'm just29:51like,29:51>> "Yeah, if you know that then what?" And29:53I'm like getting more Look at Jeremy29:55just laughing, dude. Cuz he's rage29:57baiting me.29:58>> No, I'm not. I'm just29:59>> No, no, no. I'm saying Yeah. Yeah. It's30:01hilarious.30:01>> And I'm just like, "Dang." But through30:03that, he was basically stripping out the30:06pride from me and going, "Look, I know30:08you. I know what you're going through."30:10And I'm like, "Dang." He's like, "You30:12don't know you. And you don't know that30:14I know you. That's the problem." And I30:15was like, "Huh?" And so when I would,30:18yes, I would get mad. I think every30:20chastisement is always going to sting. I30:22think truth will always hurt for sure.30:25But once all that settles, and pastor30:28taught me this too, the sting will sting30:30first. But once it settles, you're like,30:32"Dang, I was wrong. I probably should30:34come back to like that." That's what30:36true correction does. Judgment doesn't30:38do it. Just stings and stings and stings30:40and it pushes you away and it's just30:42like it doesn't let you come back30:44essentially. Pastor would always do30:45that. He would talk trash about me and30:48then he would expose me like that and30:50then he would order like black bean30:52noodles like after and just be like,30:55"Yeah, let me get three black bean30:56noodles." And in my head I'm like,30:57"There's two of you guys. Like, why are30:59you trying to get three?" And then I'm31:00like, "Oh, he's trying to" And then I31:02would fight that. Oh, he's just She31:03thinks like I'm a big back. I am, but31:05you can't just win me back with food,31:07you know? And then it's like so manipul,31:10but he could win me back with food31:11>> legit. And I'll be like, he's so31:13manipulative. Like and I would see like31:15damn Johnny doesn't let anyone win.31:18>> Like he won't he's always he's so right31:21that like no matter what he won't even31:23let people say sorry like and that had31:26to come to me. I I don't remember when I31:28just remember overarching I started to31:30have this heart of like bro you don't31:32even let people say sorry. And the the31:34the the aha moment for that was when I31:37reflected back on my homies. My homies31:39would tell me they would be like this31:41fool is never wrong. He's never wrong.31:43And I'm like, "What the f are you31:45talking?"31:46>> You say that about me.31:49>> All right. Sting me right now.31:50>> Sting me right now.31:51>> Yeah. Yeah. Just get it over with.31:53>> No. No. No. But but genuinely though,31:55that was the moment where I I I knew the31:57level up. And then I went to share that31:59with pastor. I was like, "Hey, pastor, I32:02realized that the time that you're32:05telling me that I'm wrong and all that,32:07like I I didn't just hear it from you32:08guys. I think I heard that all my life."32:10And then his ears perked up. He's like,32:12"Oh, unlock moment. Is this like is he32:14going to level up?" Like it was this32:15type of thing. Which I now understand. I32:17understand now cuz I didn't get it back32:19then. But he goes, "Yeah, go on. What do32:22you mean? Please share your heart. Share32:23your heart more." And I'm like, "Yeah,32:24like my friend, you know, I would name32:26my friends like he said this and back32:27then when I look at it, I was like that,32:29man. Pastor, I don't know why I'm like32:31that." And he's like, "That's why I'm32:33here." Remember Johnny, I said, "I'm32:34your breaking system." And all of that.32:36So, I'm always so thankful to pastor.32:37Like honestly, he did he showed me in32:40ways where like I was able to see myself32:43outside of myself and then also reflect32:45back on my homies and be like, "Dang."32:47And then I would apologize to my friends32:48cuz I'm like, "Yo, my bad. I was legit32:50wrong and I was manipulative and I was32:52sensitive and I never wanted to be32:53wrong. My fault." And they my homies32:55would look at me like, "Who the hell are32:57you? Like how you saying sorry is kind33:00of crazy." I was the type of dude who33:02like literally would make everything33:03correct. Like I would I was and I would33:06plate to that. I would be like, "Oh,33:08yeah. Well, I'd walk down the hood and33:10just act like normal." And I know these33:12guys were going to press me and I wanted33:13to be violent with them. So, I would let33:15them try to punk me and then I switch it33:17on them. And then I'd be like, "Hey,33:18see, they try to they try to hurt me."33:20Like, I was manipulative to that point33:21where I could have just went around, but33:23I'm like, "Nah, I'm angry, but I'm going33:24to let it out right now." So, I'm going33:25to plate and I'm going to manipulate to33:27where it looks like I didn't do nothing33:28wrong. So, that and I would be so good33:30at tricking myself into doing that, too.33:33Where I could go to sleep. I could blast33:34somebody and go to sleep and be like,33:35"Well, he messed with me first. I didn't33:37I didn't do anything."33:38>> That's crazy.33:39>> Allegedly.33:40>> Allegedly. In my dreams.33:42>> Sleep at night.33:43>> And go to sleep at night. Nobody told me33:45that faith would be this lonely. I33:47thought when I gave my life to God,33:48everything would just click. Community,33:50peace, direction. A lot of us are out33:52here just trying to figure it out alone.33:54Your family thinks it's a phase. You go33:55to church on Sunday, you're smiling, and33:57then on Monday, reality hits and you're34:00back alone in your home in your34:02thoughts. I know exactly what that's34:03like. I got out of prison at the age of34:0525. I didn't have a church home. I34:07didn't have friends. I didn't even34:08really have family to back me up. I had34:10God. I had a Bible. But more importantly34:12than anything, I had a pastor who I34:14could lean on to ask questions and to34:16just receive mentorship and have34:17fellowship with. And the thing that34:19changed everything for me wasn't just34:21studying alone. It was actually having34:23someone I could bring my real questions34:24to. Not the Sunday school questions, the34:27real ones. The ones that keep you up at34:28night. the ones that make you feel34:30unworthy because you can't figure it out34:32on your own. Therefore, you feel as if34:34you're less of a Christian. That's why34:35every single Saturday at 10 a.m. Pacific34:37Standard Time, I go live inside the Core34:39of the Heart daily app. First, we do a34:41full Bible class, real teaching, not34:43that surface level stuff. We go super34:45deep. Then, we open it up group34:47mentorship. You bring your real34:48questions, not the polished ones, and I34:50answer them with scriptures and honesty34:52based off of real struggles that I went34:54through in my life. You were never34:55supposed to do this alone. And now you34:57don't have to. Bible class every34:58Saturday at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard35:00Time. Can't wait to see you guys there.35:02And and that was the thing. It was that35:03victim mindset of like, I'm from this35:06hood. You don't want me to go to You're35:07very territorial. You're a different35:09race. Hey, I'mma walk down and you know,35:12you guys want to start stuff with me. I35:14warn you one time. Hey, don't you don't35:16want it. You I I promise you don't want35:17it, homie. I swear to you, you don't35:18want it. Oh, yeah. That's right, Ch. And35:20they'll do this type of stuff and then I35:22I'd up it basically. And they'd be like,35:24oh my gosh. And I'd be like, "I told you35:26I was a nice guy. I see I didn't do35:28anything wrong." And then that's what I35:30would do cuz the guilt would come35:31obviously when you hurt somebody, but35:33then I'd be like, "Hey, but you you35:34tried, Johnny. You" And I was like,35:36"Dude." So, it's it was crazy. I was35:39legit like psychopathic. And I was also35:41very like I can I can trick myself in a35:43lot of ways, you know? So, yeah.35:45>> That's what you should have done to that35:46pastor.35:48>> Just let him walk right into your trap35:49and then punk him.35:50>> Dude, that's35:51>> No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, that's why35:52you're that's why I love your level up35:53when you say you have to win souls, not35:55arguments because you can tell the35:57difference between people who are doing35:58that and not like and it's and you're36:00always saying like, "Oh, if you want to36:01preach the gospel to your friends, you36:02have to lead by example and let them see36:04your piece and then they'll come to you36:05and ask questions." Because when you try36:06to tell someone something, you just tell36:08someone, they're not going to listen to36:09you. Just tell someone to do something.36:10They don't listen. But when they come36:12ask you, they'll listen to whatever you36:14tell them because now they're asking36:15you. Yeah. So, it's like him, that's36:17just not a good way to win souls where36:18it's like him trying to put you in an36:20argument stance and oh, I've been36:22waiting weeks for this. I've been36:23studying this. It's like you could tell36:24he's just he just wants to win the36:26argument. He doesn't care. And then when36:27he won the argument, he he lost the soul36:29pretty much because it was like you're36:31like, I don't want to do this.36:32>> He lost all in. It was so crazy how fast36:35the switch up was.36:36>> Mhm.36:36>> When I just was like, and I'm good at36:38that. I'm like, yeah, wow, pastor,36:40you're right. You know, I never seen it36:41from that perspect like these little36:42buzzwords. And he was just like, I see36:45it was such a shift. He's like,36:47>> whoa. Like I'm telling the Johnny Chang.36:49Yeah. And I'm just like, bro, I'm I36:51don't even care. Like, you know, I let36:52him know. And now I'm sure he went and36:54made a sermon and was like, I met Johnny36:56Ch. I let him know.36:58>> Yeah,36:59>> boy. You know, it's like I was like, d I37:01mean, facts and and handle your37:02business. That's what you got to do. But37:04it's like, where is winning the soul in37:05that? Where is a Christlike aspect of37:07that?37:08>> Where is all of that? You know what I37:09mean? And I and for me, it was like37:11deceivers yet. 2 Corinthians 6 8-10. I37:14thought about that verse and I was like37:171 Corinthians 9:22. I'm like, let me37:19just gain his heart. Like whatever. I'm37:20going to let him just win cuz all this37:22back and forth ain't going to do37:23nothing. At the end of the day, like37:25he's his blood pressure was skyhigh.37:27Like he was so mad that my presence in37:30front of him was like, "What are you37:33doing here?" You know what I mean? And37:34I'm I I even was like, "Yo, do you want37:36to just speak? Like, I don't have to37:37speak. You could speak. I'm not37:38tripping. I don't care about my37:40platform. I don't care about none of37:41that. you want to step in front and do37:42it. I'm just letting you know these37:43people are probably not going to listen37:44to you. Like you could try it. And they37:47and they did try to platform him. Like37:48let him go and speak, you know? And then37:51again, it was like people weren't really37:53listening to him. And I'm like because37:55when you preach legalism and you preach37:58this like I'm better than you type of38:00energy, it only attracts people who are38:02like I'm better than you and and not38:04better than you. No, I'm better than38:06you. It's like oh that's a good sermon.38:08All right. And then so when he did that,38:09it's like almost he got a taste of his38:11own medicine because other pastors were38:13like, "Oh, you said this about this."38:14And I'm just like, "Bro,38:16>> you just did what you did to me." Like38:17it kind of what goes around comes38:19around. And at the end of the day, I was38:21able to see like, dude, people are just38:23going to judge because I don't think38:25that pastor had bad intentions. But I38:27think his mind is like, I know what I38:30know and I've done this for years and38:32it's very hard to convince me otherwise38:35that I'm right and I know what's up and38:37I've read this Bible. Look at my Bible.38:39It literally looks like ancient, right?38:41It looks esoteric. But at the same time,38:43it's like, but your heart though, your38:45heart doesn't even have a heart to be38:47like, "What is it, Johnny?" Like, he38:49didn't even try to allow me to explain.38:51It was more of just like, "I already38:52know what you're going to say. I watched38:53all your stuff already, and this is what38:55it is. I'm just here to counter you, and38:57I want to challenge your view, and I38:59want you to know that your view is39:00wrong." And so I went, "Okay, my view is39:02wrong."39:03>> And it was like,39:04>> "That's crazy."39:05>> What? Like it was like his boxing gloves39:07were up and he's like, "Okay." I was39:09like, "Do you want a huggy?"39:11>> I don't know how you have the patience39:12for that. Like that takes insane39:14patience to just be like, "All right,39:15I'm gonna let this guy just play this39:17out cuz I'm usually I get on the roller39:19coaster."39:19>> Sure. Sure. A lot of us do. But it's39:22like, bro, it's like39:23>> I don't know. I just saw it as pitiful.39:26>> I wasn't even trying to be mad. I was39:28just looked at him like,39:29>> damn. Like you want this platform so39:31bad, take it. Like I've said it in the39:33Discord. I was like, if if I did that,39:35they were like, we would leave. Forget39:36you. Don't do that, Johnny. I'm like,39:38let let's let them come on and say39:39something. Like, these people are not39:41going to be able to hear you. So many39:43people come to me and they say the same39:44thing. Man, Johnny, I can't listen. I've39:46never told anyone. God is my witness.39:48I've never told anyone to leave their39:49church. Never. Not once. I just preached39:52the gospel. And they go, dang, it39:54doesn't it's not right. What they're39:56saying is not right anymore. I heard39:58this for 17 years, and I can't unhear40:00what you're saying. It took you one live40:02to shift my whole perspective. And I'm40:04like, I don't know. I'm just preaching.40:06That's it. I'm not sitting here going,40:07hm, what should I do today? Let me make40:09sure like empty out all the churches.40:11Like, I never do that. I'm just trying40:12to preach.40:13>> And when you see the truth, bro, the40:15veil gets lifted. It I don't have to try40:17to tell you nothing.40:18>> That's just what it is. And I'm not and40:20and and that's what I love. I love my40:22community. Shout out to them because I40:24never had to plate to them. I never had40:25to go, "Hey guys, like please, I love40:28you. Please don't do Like I literally40:30let them draw. I fight with them. I40:32fight for them. I keep it real with40:34them. I keep it a buck. If they tell me40:36to take something down, I don't I don't40:37have to take it down. If I take40:39something down, they don't get mad that40:40I take it down. There's a lot of trust40:42in our community. Shout out to Core of40:43the Heart because you guys are sick and40:45tired of people who just are yesmen or40:48people who are echo chambers. Like, you40:50do want to be challenged too, but not in40:52a judgmental way. In a way that grows40:54you. I think that's what our community40:56legit does. And people don't like40:58challenge. They don't like to be41:00challenged because that's scary.41:02>> It's scary. If somebody came to me, I41:04thought about it too. And this is no41:06disrespect to anybody. If somebody came41:08to me and they gave me without a shadow41:11of a doubt that my gospel through the41:13Holy Spirit and all that is false, that41:15Jesus Christ, let's say they had a like41:17evidence that Jesus wasn't a real41:19person, bro, I will be shook because I'm41:22like, "Oh my gosh." But wait, but all41:23the things that happened in my life, the41:25Pastor Kim, the mentoring, the levelups,41:27is that all in vain? Right there, your41:29foundation is rocked. And there's two41:31things that's going to happen. Fight or41:32flight. You're either going to go, "Oh,41:34hell no." and run away and go and find41:36the truth. Or you're going to go, "Hell41:38no." You're going to hold on to it.41:39You're going to fight everybody who41:40attacks your truth. And so, I understand41:42it. I understand it 100%. They killed41:45Jesus because of that. Jesus came down41:46and said, "Respectfully, y'all are41:48scribes, Pharisees, and Sodies. You41:50wrote parts of the Bible. You recorded41:51parts of the Bible, but you don't know41:53anything. What? We're the chosen people.41:55No, but you don't know anything. You're41:56going to kill me, and I'm going to show41:58you that you're a hypocrite. You're41:59brutal viper. You're this and that. And42:01they they literally offed him. They42:03killed Jesus, bro. It's crazy. So, how42:06much more are they going to do it to us42:08and we're ready for it cuz we know where42:09we're going.42:12>> But yeah,42:12>> but now I want to know. Sting me.42:15>> What? Jeremy,42:16>> what was it again?42:16>> Correction.42:17>> You don't have to be corrected.42:19>> Come on. Tell me. Tell me. Tell me. Tell42:20me. Here's what you need to be42:21corrected, okay? You need to stop being42:22a follower. Let me explain why you're a42:24follower. Because he has camel pants on,42:27Aaron has camel pants on. And you have42:28camel pants on. And guess what? You42:31followed them because42:32>> I put on my pants first.42:34>> No, you didn't.42:34>> Yes, I did. And then I42:35>> look, see, look. He said sting me,42:37right? Prime example. Sting me. He's not42:39taking accountability. Doesn't want to42:40accept this perspective.42:41>> Cuz I was holding something. I was like,42:42"Yo, should I bring this to the podcast42:44today?" And they saw my outfit and they42:45all copied me.42:46>> Oh, really? Is that what it was, Aaron?42:48He's lying, dude. Aaron, is that what he42:50did? Aaron 2.0. He's a liar, dude.42:52>> This guy has no honesty. No honor.42:54>> So what? So what? So what? How did you42:56come up with those?42:57>> He's trying to get into the knickknacks,42:59bro. Can't take a L for nothing.43:03>> What? Come on. Give me some real43:04pastoral guidance. You43:07>> swing Sting me live on the podcast.43:09>> Yeah, get him.43:10>> Should I? Honestly, Jeremy, you a lot43:12better. Fine. Get Aaron.43:13>> No. No. Cook him. Cook him. Get Aaron.43:14>> You've legit gotten a lot better.43:16>> We're like, get him.43:18>> Get him. You're like pointing. I'm like,43:19I'mma get myself.43:20>> I'm a big stupid idiot. No, I'm just43:22kidding. But no, you you've gotten a lot43:24better, Jeremy. I There's really nothing43:25that I'm that I see that's really really43:28bad.43:29>> Clip that.43:34>> Bro said clip that. Isn't it play it43:36like 100 times?43:37>> Yeah. Yeah. I've got better.43:40>> I think all of us could work on uh the43:43topic of this episode, which is judgment43:45for the most part.43:46>> Yeah. And I'm not saying43:47>> Oh, I have a lot of good questions43:48around that.43:49>> I just think I think if we were to all43:51get stung, I think maybe we're all a43:52little judgmental sometimes.43:54>> Yeah.43:55>> Okay. Is it truly poss your your your43:59third topic, is it truly possible to not44:01judge somebody? There's always a level44:04of jud44:04>> There's a difference between judgment44:06and observation though, right? Like I44:08said, judgment is usually like a form of44:11rejection. It's a form of I'm not trying44:14to help you. I'm just gonna tell you44:16like, "Hey, Johnny, you're stupid."44:17Like, "Okay, help me not be stupid."44:19Right? It's like, "Correct me in a way44:21that you can guide me versus like, I44:23don't like you. I have ulterior motives44:25and you don't match what I like and my44:27standards because they're subjective and44:28relative to me. So, forget you and I'm44:31going to say stuff about you." Right.44:32It's like that. Can you not do that?44:35Yes, you cannot do that. But44:37>> it's like throwing medicine at somebody44:38and hoping that they take it.44:40>> Exactly. Wow. Who taught you that, man?44:42Must be a smart guy. Just kidding.44:45>> But on that can observation become it44:48can sometimes be negative, right? Like44:51>> give me an example.44:52>> I've just observed that he's a little44:53big.44:56>> Just an observation, C.44:58>> Exact.44:59You know what I mean? Okay. Hey, the45:02observation I was literally going to45:04roast him, too. So, it's funny. They got45:06a shot. I was going to use him as my45:08>> I was going to use him as my example.45:10But you could be like, you could be45:12like, uh, I Yeah. Um,45:16the observation can be like, man, this45:20person is really disorganized.45:22>> Mhm.45:22>> And it's like annoying to me.45:24>> I'm going to help them, right? It's not45:26like, you know, you're like, I'm going45:27to help them, but you're like45:28frustrated. You're you're like, it's not45:30>> There's nothing wrong with being45:31frustrated. Frustration does not mean45:32judgment.45:34>> So when45:34>> but then maybe the person and and maybe45:36I get this, people do say this about me.45:38They're like, "Oh, it's your tone."45:39Yeah.45:40>> I'm like, "Forget my tone. I'm trying to45:42help you."45:42>> But two things though.45:44>> TAKE THE MEDICINE.45:47>> But here's the thing, right? Like if45:48you're if you have the tone if it's a45:50tonality issue, that's fine.45:52>> If I talk like this, would it be better?45:54>> No, it wouldn't because that's tonality,45:56too, is such a Let me just like kind of45:59go off a little tangent. Tonality is46:01such a It's such a liar, too. Cuz if46:03someone's like, "You're so stupid. Oh my46:06god, you're so amazingly stupid."46:07Honestly, it's like amazing. If you do46:10that, it's like, bro, it's still the46:11same thing, right? It doesn't You should46:13never equate tonality to truth because46:15somebody could say something like, let's46:16say I'm I'm I'm walking and then, you46:18know, Jeremy crosses the street and I'm46:20like, Jeremy, watch out. And I yell at46:22him, but there's a car that's going to46:23clip him. Would he be like, "Hey, don't46:25tell me that." And like it's like, "Tell46:28me."46:28>> Yeah. Right. It's like, "Come on." It's46:30tonality is such a it's it's it's BS too46:33in a lot of ways, right? Where you need46:35to be nice to me. It's like no, the46:37observation then would be like you're46:39sensitive,46:40>> but what if it's for my case, right?46:42Yeah.46:42>> It's a common theme.46:44>> Well, the the issue is not your46:45tonality. It's hard to accept what you46:47say. So, people sit there and they they46:50take your tonality and they judge. They46:52go they either judge you like, "Dude,46:54this guy's so freaking mean." Or they46:56judge themselves, man. And that's my my46:58issue. Sometimes your tonality, I'll be47:00like, "Dude, he thinks I'm stupid."47:02That's a judgment in turned inward,47:04though. It's the same type of judgment.47:06Of course, I'm not stupid. Of course,47:07there's things that I could be better47:09at, but it doesn't mean like just cuz he47:11said something, "Oh my gosh, my identity47:13is ruined and I'm I'm a horrible47:14leader." But there's times where I'll47:16feel like that, right? It just happens.47:17So47:18>> during that time, what do we have to do?47:20The right thing. Have a call. Hey bro,47:22this is how I feel. Did you mean47:23anything by that? No, no, no, no. That's47:25not what it is. So that's me shifting47:28from judgment inward to observation. Ah,47:31that made me think a certain type of47:33way. Okay. But then when I asked him and47:35confirmed with him that wasn't what he47:37actually felt. And if that's the case, I47:40should either take what he says or I can47:42continue to judge. That's our only two47:44options. So your issue with Jeremy is ne47:46never like, "Oh yeah, he's so mean. He's47:48on top. He's he's you know, it's like47:50sure you can be mean, but if someone47:52sits there and goes, hey, did you mean47:54this when I" and then you know they ask47:56you that question? The next thing should47:59be, oh, if he explains it and it makes48:01sense, I should accept what he says, not48:02what I keep think thinking and feeling.48:04Right.48:05>> I double down. I'm like, yeah, you're a48:07stupid.48:09>> You never do that, though.48:10>> That is what I was thinking.48:12>> Yeah. Yeah. Wow. You finally could read48:13my mind. Finally, your brain is working.48:16>> Yeah. You You've never done that. You've48:18genuinely sit there and go, "Yeah, no,48:20that's I'm just trying to solve a48:21problem." And so that's what it is. I48:23don't want you to. And it's like, "Oh,48:24so true. Okay, cool." And it again it48:27takes that level of can I accept what48:29you say above what I think and feel.48:32That's why again foundationally judgment48:35is usually just somebody going I forgot48:37grace. I also can be like that person.48:41Um and I need to you know kind of listen48:44to what that person is saying and kind48:45of empathize with them. Nobody really48:48has that nowadays to be honest. And and48:50again we teach that by grace. If you48:53remember your grace, if you remember,48:55dang, I'm only here because God gave me48:58that.48:59>> There is no way you can judge anyone for49:01real,49:02>> right? Even like even with the pastor,49:04that's not a judgment. What I'm saying49:05about it's an observation. He cares49:07about this. That's the truth. He's this,49:10he's that, right? And it's like, what's49:12going to help him? Well, fighting with49:14him is not going to help him. That's why49:15I didn't fight with him. Instead, I was49:17like, let me just calm him down. Which49:18we did. And he was like, all right. he49:20was a little more open to it afterwards49:22because when you're calm and you're49:24putting your guard down, then you're49:25able to kind of have a little bit of49:27receptive skills. The sad part that I49:29observed is that he's still focusing on49:31I want my platform. I want to be a big49:33pastor. I put in this work, which49:36rightfully so, that's his own49:37observation. I put in this work for 4049:39plus years. You put in work for what,49:4210, and you got quadruple whatever I49:44have. I feel some type of way about49:46that. Now, that's the thing that I think49:48most people should just say. If they49:50said that, it would just weed through49:52everything. Yo, this is how I genuinely49:54feel. I feel like you think I'm stupid49:56or I feel like, you know, you're not49:58qualified to be where you're at. At50:00least you're they're not being fake50:02about it. And it's like, okay, but like,50:04do you not believe in God that God put50:06me here? Cuz to be honest, I didn't sit50:07there and go, you know what I'm going to50:08do? I'm going to go on Softwight50:09Underbelly and build millions of follow.50:11It's like I didn't even think about50:12that. I was literally I didn't even want50:13to. Y'all can ask Pastor Kim. I didn't50:15even want to go on the internet. Like I50:17was genuinely like, let's see what God's50:19going to do. You know, pastor said it.50:21I'mma follow because we're supposed to50:23follow. Hebrews 13:7. Hebrews 13:17. I50:26got to where I was and that's that point50:29blank period. And so again, it's just,50:32yeah, it's hard to, you know, see the50:36grace aspect of things like that man50:38also needs grace to hear. He needs grace50:41that when he meets someone like me to50:43also hear from me. I also need to50:46receive grace from God from that, too.50:48But just because he's tripping on me50:49doesn't mean he's completely wrong. He50:51just doesn't have grace. And how many50:53times was I like that pastor to multiple50:56other people? Way probably way more than50:58him, honestly, or even as just as much51:00as him. So, that's what also made me go,51:03I'm not tripping on him. That's why I51:04said it broke my heart. I wasn't like,51:06"This guy's so stupid and he's an it."51:08It was more of like, "Dang, I really did51:10receive grace to step out of that."51:12Because like Jeremy asked earlier, some51:14people never get out of that. They die51:16like that. And that's sad. That's hella51:19sad at the end of the day. It's like,51:20what's so special about me? I'm exactly51:22like him, if anything worse than him.51:24And yet, God was able to lift me out of51:26that, man. Like, I hope he gets out of51:28that, you know? I hope he gets out of51:29that for real. So, so if you guys want51:31to go deeper with the Bible unlocks and51:34just having these biblical resources,51:35guys, we created an app called Core of51:37the Heart daily. All my secret notes, my sermons,51:55all the lives and the Q&As's, everything51:57is in there. So, it will answer your52:00questions when you don't have that52:01pastor at 2:00 a.m. in the night time52:03and you're spiraling. And check it out,52:05guys, if you want to download it. It's52:06on the app store called Horror of the52:07Heart Daily. Link is in the description.52:09Back to the episode. How can you tell if52:12correction is coming from love or hate?52:14>> Because I can think about the times52:16like, you know, when Pastor Kim52:17obviously, but there's definitely time52:19like think about the time you're in52:20prison and it was a correction officer52:21and you knew that it was52:23>> negative coming from a negative place,52:25right?52:26>> Yeah. You can just kind of it's just52:28like a instinct. But what about pastor52:31Kim?52:32>> Yeah. Yeah. Just answer the first52:33question.52:33>> Yeah. So, so correction from love52:35usually draws you closer to God or52:38closer to a person, right? Even if52:40you're not an atheist, whatever. Like it52:42usually is like nurturing, right? It's52:44like, "Hey, I'm just letting you know52:45cuz I care about you." There's that. But52:48then correction from hate, envy,52:50jealousy, whatever, usually pushes you52:52away. It's like, "Bro, why are you like52:54that? You're hella annoying." like it's52:56this heart is different. You're like,52:58"You're annoying to me. Get away from52:59me." It's like this type of heart versus53:01like, "Hey, I noticed that you don't53:02really have receptive skills." And I53:04don't want you to sit there and be like53:07only listening to yourself and53:09everyone's going to just feel appalled.53:10I felt appalled by you. I felt repulsed53:12by you and I kind of don't want to be53:14around you. And I thought about it. How53:16many people would feel like that about53:17you? So, as your homie, I'm just letting53:19you know. There's some things that I53:20see. I hope you don't take this as like,53:22you know, whatever because I don't have53:24to tell you. There's people out there53:25that they don't even correct out of53:26judgment. They just judge and they don't53:28correct. They sit there and go, "All53:29right, clock. I'm not going to be with53:31that. I'm not ever going to be around53:32this person. I'm not This happens in53:34relationships. This happens when53:35communication dies. They're just like,53:37I'm not even going to tell him. I'm53:38going to get into it. This guy's not53:39even going to listen. I'm not going to53:40say nothing to him." People have done53:41that to me, too. And it and it sucks.53:43You know, you're like, "Damn, why didn't53:44you just tell me?" Cuz I knew you53:45wouldn't listen. It's like, "Dang."53:47Like, for real, we we can't even have a53:48conversation. No, you can't. That's how53:50much judgment has passed. And it's like53:52also 5050, right? It's like that's how53:54much I also close their hearts and push53:56them away. So, you know, it's it's kind53:58of like think about correction like a54:01surgeon versus a gang member, right?54:03Both cut. One heals, one kills. That's54:06it. It's very simple. Is your correction54:09killing this person, hurting this54:10person, or is it healing this person?54:12And that's the only way that you could54:14really tell. Now, with Pastor Kim, I54:16knew he was trying to help me. He didn't54:17have to tell me all that stuff. He could54:20literally sit there and just like pass54:22like whatever. Okay, you're just a dumb54:23criminal. Like go ahead, do whatever you54:25want. He's never done that to me. He'll54:27sit there and go, "Okay, Johnny, but54:29just so you know, you do this." He said,54:31"If you think about only yourself,54:33you're only going to be by yourself."54:35And I'm like, "Dang." And then I would54:37harden. I don't care. I've been by54:38myself. I My dad threw me away. Yeah.54:41And that's fine. But look at your life54:43now. Are you happy? Genuinely, are you54:45happy? If you're by yourself and you can54:47be happy, then be by yourself. You're54:48not. It's miserable. You spiral at54:50night. Boom. Boom. It don't say that54:51about me. It's true though. And he just54:53keep it real with me. And I'm like,54:54dang. I was like a kid with him because,54:58right, being locked up from the age of54:5912 to 25. You're you're not developed.55:02You're around people who are 60 years55:03old. Like, yeah, cuz I knocked this dude55:05out. Like, damn, bro. You're 60, bro.55:08You still talking about knocking fools55:09out. You ain't ish in your neighborhood.55:10If that's the case, you ain't You ain't55:12got no little homies or nothing. Sorry,55:13guys. Right. This is a gang member of me55:15coming out, but it's like,55:16>> how are you going to do that? And I was55:18just a grown kid. I think I was stunted55:20right when I got out. I was 25, but I55:22was 12 mentally. Legit 12. And probably55:24not even that. Probably not even that.55:26So I'm sitting here going, I got to55:28learn that. You don't tell me that. And55:29it's like I had to relearn that. And55:31I've only been out for 10 years.55:33Technically, I would be my mentality55:35should be 22. Dang. If you think about55:38it like that, you know, so it's55:40difficult.55:41>> And yet we're running a company where55:43all of it is grace. All of it is grace.55:45And so that's what helps me go, dang,55:47like I'm very hard on myself because I55:50know I know how I am. I know like, dude,55:52I wish I could be like that, man. If I55:53didn't get locked up, man, like I'm so55:55stupid. Like this these things come out.55:57Whereas I see other people who are so55:59much more leveled up. And I'm like,56:00dang, if I didn't get locked up and put56:02myself through that, I wouldn't I would56:04at least be better. And so, yes, there's56:06times where I'm like hard on myself. But56:08even then, I have to turn that judgment56:10into just observation, just indicator.56:13Okay. Yeah, you messed up. you were56:15dealt this way, but look at how God56:17still led your life. And then that's56:19where the happiness comes out. That's56:21where the peace comes out. It's like,56:22dang, I'm not even supposed to be here.56:23I can't even really have like emotional56:25intelligence and EQ and all that, you56:27know, manage my emotions and yet we're56:29able to do it. And not only do that, but56:31lead other people to do it. It's kind of56:32crazy. And it just makes me happy when I56:34think about it like that.56:36>> When do you or like how do you measure56:38if you should step in and correct56:40someone versus you just let them go56:41through it?56:42>> Mhm. for example, the pastor, right?56:45Like,56:46>> okay. Well, you kind of explained why.56:48Yeah.56:48>> But like just in general, like other56:51people in your community, there are56:52times where you I can see that you56:54really fight for somebody and there's56:56other times where you're just like,56:57"Okay, you know, how are you how are you56:58making that judgment per person?"57:00>> Yeah. Yeah. Heart posture number one. I57:02I listen. If you're going to correct57:04somebody, the number one thing you have57:05to do is listen. You can't correct57:07somebody based off of your assumption of57:09what's going on. You have to be able to57:11listen first, figure it out, and then57:12correct. So, go ahead.57:14>> Would you say 99% of people aren't ready57:18to listen57:19>> 100%.57:19>> Because I even think about when I first57:21met you and I think about how I would57:23approach you with my questions.57:25>> You weren't ready to listen to me.57:27>> I was like, man,57:29>> I was I was not, you know, it's just57:32like And then also now when I see people57:34around you and they're asking all these57:36questions, I'm like, oh, he's not ready57:37either. Like,57:39>> yeah, you got it. You can see it.57:40>> But I I see you answering the questions,57:42but it's just like so different. I'm57:44like, ah, they're they're gonna they're57:46>> they got to go through it.57:47>> Yeah, they got to go through it.57:48>> I can see it, too. Even on the podcast.57:50>> Yeah.57:51>> Someone will say something and I'm like,57:53they're not ready for the answer.57:54>> Yeah. Facts, Aaron. Yeah. Yeah.57:57>> And then I see him cowardly back down57:58sometimes. I'm like, him. That's58:00how so many people in core the heart58:02are.58:03>> Yeah.58:03>> They're like, why didn't you say58:04something, Johnny?58:05>> Why did you say the answer that you said58:06this time? you did it last time with me,58:08but you didn't tell them. It's like,58:09bro, they're not ready. I can say it's58:11if I can here's the here's the unlock,58:14right? If I can correct you, it means we58:16have that you're at that level to be58:19corrected. That's a that's such a a58:21beautiful thing. I know Pastor Kim to58:22this day, and I'm not trying to say this58:24to LA church pas church people, but58:28pastor has not shifted out of hello, how58:31are you? Welcome to some of y'all. Why?58:35And you think, "Oh, he's so nice to me.58:36Why was he so mean to Johnny?" It's58:38because he could talk to me like that,58:40right? Like, like like you have homies58:42who are like homies and you have58:43acquaintances. You're not going to58:44handle them the same. And I'm not saying58:47this for you guys. Oh, am I not getting58:48closer to to pastors? I wouldn't. I'm58:50not saying that. I'm saying you have to58:52just observe and go, "Huh?" Like, maybe58:55it's two things. Maybe I'm not I don't58:57have to be corrected. And sometimes58:58that's that's the case, too, where59:00you're so submitted, you know, like good59:02for you. It's amazing. But there's times59:04where also pastors waiting on God to59:07work in your life. And he with me was59:10just more like as crazy as it is, I59:13think he's ready. Like he was just like,59:14I think he's ready and I'm going to just59:16do it. And I know there's times where he59:19was like frustrated with me and would59:20just correct me out of frustration. But59:22even that, I believe God ordained that59:24and allowed that to happen because I59:26would see that. I would peep that. Oh,59:28dang. Pastor's correcting me with a59:30frustrated heart. But he's not59:31frustrated at me. he's doing this so59:33that I can heal. He's frustrated because59:35he knows. So, he saw what I would become59:38and then was like, "Dude, this guy's59:40like lagging it." Like that's what that59:42it was that type of energy. Not like59:44he's sick and tired of me. He wants me59:45to leave cuz if he did, he' just throw59:46me out, right? So, I again was very59:49graced to be able to see like, dang,59:51pastor's not the op. He genuinely cares59:54about me. And and so two things, you59:56have to be able to really listen and59:59see. Number two, do these people look at1:00:02you like the OP. Do they look at you and1:00:04flip right away and go you're the enemy1:00:06and you telling me the truth is you're1:00:08my enemy now? Which is what Paul says1:00:10right in his books. So at the end of the1:00:12day, it's not about1:00:15do I correct somebody at this right time1:00:18or that right time. You could do it by1:00:19faith and correct them anytime, all the1:00:21time if you want to. The issue is are1:00:24you first listening to them? Number one,1:00:28really hearing them out. Number two, are1:00:30you doing it off of emotion? Are you1:00:33just frustrated at them because they're1:00:35not doing what you want? If that's the1:00:37case, probably don't correct them and1:00:39probably tell the truth and go, "Hey,1:00:42you doing all of this, I don't want to1:00:44react out of pure emotion, but it does1:00:47make me feel this way, and I don't know1:00:49if I'm supposed to tell you or not. What1:00:51should we what can we do to work this1:00:53out? Where is the middle ground?" That's1:00:55much better than going, "I'mma let them1:00:58know my two cents because I'm sick of1:00:59this." Like, that's much different. When1:01:01you do that, people aren't stupid. They1:01:03feel that, too. They go, "Oh, this1:01:04person's sick of me." And then even1:01:06though you're right, but they sense that1:01:08this person is sick of you, which is1:01:10judgment. They're not going to listen.1:01:12They're going to claw and fight and bite1:01:14and kick you because they don't want to1:01:16feel like invalidated. They don't want1:01:18to feel as if they're burdening1:01:21somebody. No one wants to feel like1:01:23that. And that's why people just recluse1:01:25and close up. A lot of you guys are like1:01:26that. So1:01:27>> when it comes to like biblical1:01:28correction and let's say you don't know1:01:30the word, well,1:01:33should you not be? Let's go both ways.1:01:36>> Yeah.1:01:36>> When it comes to biblical correction and1:01:38let's say you're trying to help a1:01:41beginner Christian, but you don't know1:01:43the word, well,1:01:44>> should you just not even try?1:01:46>> Yeah, probably don't correct. If you1:01:48don't know the word, what are you going1:01:50to correct off of? M1:01:52>> my personal experience blind leading the1:01:54blind1:01:55>> right essentially right and and and of1:01:57course you can suggest I think there's1:01:59nothing wrong with hey correct me if I'm1:02:01wrong you should also be open to1:02:03correction but I kind of see you going1:02:06down this path I went down this path and1:02:10it kind of led me here and that's why1:02:13testimony is important fellowship is1:02:14important am I wrong like are you kind1:02:17of going through that are you feeling1:02:18cuz when I went down that path I felt1:02:20empty are you feeling feel an empty. No,1:02:21I'm not. I'm not feeling it. Oh, okay.1:02:22My bad. Then scratch that. Like, that's1:02:24okay. Versus like, oh, I know cuz, you1:02:28know, I felt that. I see it in you. It's1:02:29like, no, that's not okay. Right? It's1:02:31it's again po most people can't listen1:02:34and they don't ask for confirmation.1:02:37They just assume, they interpret right1:02:39away based off of it because and it's1:02:41again not our faults. We're human. Human1:02:44beings are taught to soak up energy, to1:02:46assess things, to analyze things, and1:02:48then move.1:02:50That's the one thing in Christianity1:02:52that you have to change is to go, hm, I1:02:55could be wrong cuz I don't know what1:02:58they're going through. Right? It's1:03:00surface level. They are exuding certain1:03:02postures that I think are right, but1:03:04even I am not sure. So then who do you1:03:06go to? You have to go to God. Prior to1:03:08correcting anybody, you have to pray.1:03:10People don't know before the main stages1:03:12I always pray. It's a very quick prayer,1:03:14but I do. Father God, please allow them1:03:16to truly accept your heart. Not what I'm1:03:19saying, but what you're saying through1:03:21me. If I do anything wrong, Lord, please1:03:24correct me in real time. And also, if1:03:26I'm doing if I'm straying from you, just1:03:28remove me. Like, genuinely remove me. As1:03:31crazy as that sounds, people don't even1:03:33pray for that. I don't think any pastors1:03:34are like, "Remove me from the pulpit if1:03:36I'm not teaching correctly." That's a1:03:38prayer I pray at least like three to1:03:40four times a week. And people don't know1:03:42that, right? Because it's just true. And1:03:44and when I do tell them, they're like,1:03:45"What you pray for?" Like, there's times1:03:47where I'm like, "Lord, if this app thing1:03:50isn't working," and I haven't even1:03:51shared this with Jeremy and Aaron. Just1:03:53just kill it now,1:03:55>> but it's working.1:03:56>> I know, but I'm just saying, you know,1:03:58like1:03:58>> can't believe you would even try to pray1:03:59for that.1:04:00>> I know, but I'm I'm1:04:00>> We didn't even give it a chance.1:04:02>> According to his will, buddy. I'm saying1:04:04according to his will. Okay. Don't get1:04:06mad.1:04:07>> Why wouldn't you say God make this thing1:04:10work?1:04:11>> Because that's his will. Do you1:04:13understand?1:04:14>> God.1:04:16>> He's trying to look at what was a1:04:17loophole. He's literally trying to find1:04:18loopholes. God. Well, it helps people.1:04:22You know, in the Bible where it talks1:04:23about Jeremy's timing.1:04:26>> Yeah. That's Jeremiah 1911.1:04:29>> 1911.1:04:30>> I pray for Jeremy's timing.1:04:33>> Yeah. Yeah, but1:04:34>> just align me with it.1:04:36>> But I think more people have to also1:04:38pray that way where it's like, "Hey God,1:04:41I'm going to pray for alignment. I don't1:04:43know. Do you want me to have this? Do1:04:45you want me to have that?" Man, I see it1:04:47in the Discord so much in our community1:04:49so much. People just pray like, "Hey,1:04:52how do I get God essentially to do what1:04:54I want?" Like, damn, bro. And and1:04:58someone asked me this this morning when1:04:59I was on mainstage. They were like, "Do1:05:02you ever get tired? Do you ever get1:05:04overwhelmed? And I'm like, the thing1:05:05that overwhelms me the most is that1:05:09people don't sense how much they1:05:12accessorize God. I think that's really1:05:15it super overwhelms me at times. But1:05:17then I have to take my own advice too1:05:20and go, "Hey, you receive grace though.1:05:23Don't forget that at the same time you1:05:24also accessorize God, too. And many1:05:27times you probably do it subconsciously1:05:29or inadvertently. You don't even know if1:05:31you're doing that. So what's the1:05:32problem? you're the same in front of1:05:33them. Again, this these are things that1:05:35I have to also filter by myself. Like,1:05:38dang, you're like that, too. You're just1:05:39like that, too. You're just like that.1:05:41And so, it helps me and that's what1:05:42keeps us going. And I think that's1:05:44what's going to keep us going forever is1:05:46man, if if if I had the heart to go,1:05:49this is my community and I carry them,1:05:51oh my gosh, I would have quit like a1:05:53year ago for sure. It would have been1:05:55like too much cuz then I would have been1:05:57like, what? I I said the Lord's prayer.1:05:59I meant a good thing out of it. Why? How1:06:01come everyone hates me? like I would get1:06:02mad but really what I learned is like no1:06:04I need grace for everything too1:06:07>> you know and that's what will that is1:06:09the shortcut like that is the the the1:06:11unlock that is the I don't know it's1:06:13like that's the substance if you know1:06:16>> I need grace you cannot judge other1:06:19people and you can correct with grace if1:06:21you start with the heart of I need to1:06:24correct somebody because I'm right then1:06:26you're going to transfer that heart of1:06:28self-righteousness into people but if1:06:30you have the heart of Oh, I need I I1:06:32have grace. I need grace. And they need1:06:34grace, too. Let me correct them and see1:06:36if they can receive the grace. And if1:06:38they do, then you're leading with grace.1:06:39And that's beautiful. Way better than1:06:41self-righteousness.1:06:43Amen.1:06:44>> Mhm.1:06:44>> Hallelujah.1:06:45>> That's how I deal with you, Jeremy.1:06:47>> What?1:06:47>> Just how Johnny was saying like, "I used1:06:49to be a stupid idiot, too. I'm a stupid1:06:52idiot, too." Okay. Give him some grace.1:06:56>> Every day you're like that.1:06:57>> Yeah. Like you'll say something to me1:06:58and I'm like, "I used to be that stupid.1:07:00But I used to be1:07:00>> I like that I have that much impact on1:07:02you and that I'm ruining your day.1:07:04>> Oh my gosh.1:07:05>> You'll ask me something, I'm like,1:07:06"Please, please." Without Jesus, I'm the1:07:08same idiot.1:07:10>> Guys, our live events are getting super1:07:12packed. We genuinely need some help. So,1:07:14we're looking for a live events1:07:16producer.1:07:17>> So, I'm going to be completely honest1:07:18about this. There's a lot of moving1:07:20pieces from booking a church, finding1:07:22the vendors, scanning in the people, the1:07:24volunteers, the merch. Like, there's so1:07:26many moving pieces that I'm just going1:07:27to say right now, we're looking for a1:07:28professional. We're looking for someone1:07:30who has done this before. If you're1:07:31watching and you're like, "Oh, I think I1:07:32can help their live events." Honestly,1:07:34you're probably not the pick. But if1:07:35you're watching and you're saying, "Oh,1:07:36I've done this before. I've thrown live1:07:38events. I've even maybe worked in a1:07:39church space." Please reach out. We're1:07:41looking for a killer, someone who can1:07:43really coordinate everything. It's a ton1:07:44of moving pieces. At the end of the day,1:07:46it's nothing too hard or complicated,1:07:48but it's a lot of details, a lot of1:07:49moving pieces. And for us to be doing1:07:51this every single month, once a month or1:07:53even more, it's almost impossible1:07:54because we each run different branches1:07:56of the business. So for us to do these1:07:57ourselves, it's becoming unscalable. So1:07:59if you think, you know, you know, I can1:08:01come in, take this over, I'll learn from1:08:03them, we'll teach you everything, and1:08:04you think I can take the information and1:08:06go throw them live events every single1:08:08month in a different city for the rest1:08:10of the next 10 years. If you're hearing1:08:12this and you think that's you, please1:08:13reach out. We pay super competitively.1:08:15We have honestly a really good pay for1:08:17you guys because we really want to do1:08:18this. Live events are super important to1:08:19Johnny and all of us and all of you1:08:21guys. So we want to keep doing them. We1:08:23want to keep making them super amazing.1:08:25And that's why honestly we're looking1:08:26for a killer. Like it we're not really1:08:28going to hire anyone to test them out or1:08:30try to train. We're looking for someone1:08:31who has done this before and is ready to1:08:33do it for us. And we're going to pay you1:08:35very handsomely for it. So please reach1:08:37out. The best way to do it. There's a1:08:38link in the description. There's a job1:08:39application that details everything and1:08:41the pay. So please fill it out. Please1:08:43pay attention to the instructions.1:08:45There's a lot of instructions that if1:08:46you don't pay attention to them, we're1:08:48not even going to look at your1:08:48application. So cutting to the chase,1:08:50we're looking for a live events killer.1:08:52If you are that person or if you know1:08:54that person, if someone at your church1:08:55maybe throws the events, if you want to1:08:57recommend it to a friend or a family1:08:58member, we want an awesome beast live1:09:01events producer. The last thing I'll add1:09:04is you're going to be handling1:09:05everything from thousand to 5,000 person1:09:07live events. We do prison ministry,1:09:09overseas trips. We want to do we have1:09:12big plans to take core of the heart1:09:13global and you would be the lynch pin1:09:16that controls all of that. So, with that1:09:18being said, again, like Aaron said, I'm1:09:20only harping it again. There's a lot of1:09:23people that are applying because you1:09:24have a heart for the mission, which is1:09:26great, but only because of past1:09:28experiences. We have a very particular1:09:30vision of what this person needs to be.1:09:32We're also being advised by people that1:09:34have done this at extremely high level1:09:36who are helping us vet the applications.1:09:38So, it's going to be a very like select1:09:42group of people that are looking at your1:09:44application. So, please do not be1:09:45offended if we don't pick you. Just1:09:47understand we have a lot of input and we1:09:50are very specific on what we need. So,1:09:52we're very appreciative if you try, but1:09:54please again understand that we've we've1:09:56gone through a lot of ups and downs to1:09:58understand what we need or want.1:10:00>> So, if you want to apply, the link is in1:10:01the description. Also, for anyone else1:10:03still listening, if you want to come to1:10:04these awesome live events, text in after1:10:06to 323-61335771:10:11for free live events in a city near you1:10:13>> or download Core of the Heart daily.1:10:14>> I genuinely want to thank you guys for1:10:17tuning in and just supporting Core of1:10:19the Heart. Without you guys, we1:10:21obviously we wouldn't be able to go1:10:23global. And so, we are looking for that1:10:25that perfect piece, right, to uh take us1:10:29global and help us with the live events.1:10:30So, if that's you, we really do1:10:32appreciate you guys for for applying and1:10:35um hope to work with you guys soon.1:10:37>> So, we have one more question.1:10:38>> Yeah. Why? Let me ask the question.1:10:42>> Leave that part in. Leave that part.1:10:43>> No, no, leave that part in.1:10:45>> Leave it in. Please. You guys can see1:10:47how mean he is to me.1:10:49>> Oh,1:10:49>> no. That would be Jeremy. That would be1:10:51funny. Please. Can we leave that part?1:10:52>> I don't care. I'm I'm I'm the laughing1:10:54stock clown. Whatever.1:10:57>> Listen. Listen.1:10:58>> Yeah. Yeah. Listen.1:11:00You're not mean, you're scary.1:11:02>> Am I really? That be real. Am am I1:11:05scary?1:11:05>> Sometimes when you're mad.1:11:06>> Yeah,1:11:07>> Aaron.1:11:08>> He goes quiet.1:11:09>> I don't think I feel like sometimes1:11:10you're you're genuinely scared that1:11:12he'll like do something to you. I'm like1:11:14I'm scared of maybe a re I'm scared of1:11:16maybe a reaction. I don't think he would1:11:18ever put his hands on us and stuff like1:11:19that.1:11:20>> Of course.1:11:21>> Of course I would.1:11:21>> I think that's just like another layer.1:11:24>> No, but you guys only seen me.1:11:28What about the what about their mom?1:11:30>> Oh, that one that was like that was like1:11:3350%1:11:34like 40%.1:11:35>> I was like1:11:37>> we were coming back from Dr. Wakeley's1:11:39and this guy was like just hella rude.1:11:41Just a dork rude guy and he wasn't being1:11:44rude to he was being rude to everyone1:11:46around him and to like me, but I wasn't.1:11:49Oh, and then you did you drop the1:11:50suitcase on him or was that1:11:51>> No, you he said you did. You dropped it1:11:53on him.1:11:53>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.1:11:55>> Sounds like you guys pissed someone off.1:11:57>> No, no, no, no, no. He was he was just1:11:59the whole flight he was like like we1:12:01weren't even sitting near I was he's1:12:03like I'm sitting here he's like back1:12:05over there like one person1:12:06>> and like delays and he's like a what you1:12:09know he's like one of those guys like oh1:12:10this person's sitting just a grump1:12:12grumpy grouchy guy and I'm not we're not1:12:14talking to him and then at one point1:12:15when I'm unloading the bag it like I put1:12:17it down and it rolls and hits his foot.1:12:19It doesn't drop like cuz he's behind me.1:12:21There's no way I could have dropped I1:12:22like set it down and it rolls and it1:12:24touches his croc. He's wearing Crocs by1:12:26the way. I'll never forget that. He's1:12:27like, "Hey, you dropped it on my foot."1:12:30>> And I was like, "Oh." Immediately I1:12:31apologize. I'm like,1:12:33>> and he's like, "You need to watch out."1:12:34He's just like giving it to me. And then1:12:36I just see John like Johnny's looking on1:12:38his face and his mom gets scared. And1:12:40then I knew I was like I was like, "Hey,1:12:42hey, just get off the plane. Get off the1:12:43plane."1:12:43>> No, because prior to that, what happened1:12:45was I was just like like with my foot. I1:12:49was like jittering like you know how it1:12:51>> Yeah. Yeah. That's what started.1:12:52>> I did this and then he's like, "Yo,1:12:54could you stop doing that?" And he said1:12:56it like that. Yeah. Yeah, I remember.1:12:57>> And I was like, "Wait, doing what?" I1:12:58was shocked. I was like, "Wait, what do1:12:59you mean?" He's like, "That stop doing1:13:01that." And he said it like that to me.1:13:03>> Yeah.1:13:03>> And I was like, "Yo, bro, you got to1:13:05chill, man." And then he just like1:13:06rolled his eyes like,1:13:08>> and I was like, "Yeah, I could stop, but1:13:09you got to chill with that." Like, "Yo,1:13:11take it down a notch, buddy." You know?1:13:13And again, very respectful, whatever.1:13:15But again, I see him sighing and like1:13:19like the the the lady was like leaning1:13:21back a little like, you know, you you1:13:23recline your seat and he just looked at1:13:24it and he was like pissed. And I was1:13:26like, "Dang, this guy's mad, bro, for no1:13:28reason." And then I'm like, "All right,1:13:29it's cool. Whatever." Like, "Who cares?"1:13:32>> We we get up and then1:13:34>> he roll like Jeremy puts down the1:13:37suitcase. He's trying to help my mom.1:13:39The suitcase rolls, taps him in his croc1:13:42and I thought he said, "Look, like he1:13:45cussed at Jeremy." That's what I1:13:46thought. So I turned around. I was like,1:13:48"What?" And then he Jeremy's like, "Get1:13:51go." Hey, get off the bike. Get off the1:13:53plane.1:13:53>> I was like, "What?" And then I I I was I1:13:54was I was1:13:55>> never seen that face. It was like a It1:13:57wasn't like a what? I've never seen him1:13:59make that face. And that's when I was1:14:00like,1:14:00>> "Oh, no. No. I was like this. What?"1:14:03>> Yeah. And then and then so so I'm like1:14:05pushing and Johnny's trying to look back1:14:06and his mom is also like she knows. And1:14:09when she's like I was like, "Okay, this1:14:11is this1:14:12>> face drum."1:14:13>> Yeah. You were like, "What?" And then I1:14:15was just like, "Hey," and then I I start1:14:17pushing him. Johnny's like starting to1:14:19say stuff like under like under his1:14:21breath and I'm like, "Yo, get him off1:14:22this plane." Well, I was there.1:14:24>> And then you know what's funny? You know1:14:25what's funny? You know what's funny? I1:14:26look back and the guy is holding his1:14:29luggage and holding up the whole plane1:14:30cuz he doesn't want to follow us. And1:14:32then when we get out the tunnel and like1:14:34Johnny's like waiting for him. I was1:14:35like, "No." I'm like grabbing. I'm like,1:14:36"Yo, we are out." And he's like, "Fine."1:14:38And we like walk up and tunnel. Nobody1:14:41had come out. That mean that means that1:14:44I was like he was scared to1:14:48>> What? I was just trying to ask him a1:14:50question. I I heard like you effing1:14:53something and I was like what man come1:14:55on bro like that was crazy. I know you1:14:57didn't drop it on there.1:14:58>> You put it down and then you you helped1:15:00my mom bro. An elderly lady you know and1:15:03this was tripping and I was like what?1:15:05And then Yeah. And yeah I I probably did1:15:07make a mean face.1:15:08>> Hey. Hey. But nobody came out the tunnel1:15:11for that time which means he probably1:15:13was just like waiting like okay he's1:15:15probably out the tunnel.1:15:17>> Okay. Then he probably walked away1:15:19>> stalling. Yeah, you can go. I'm going to1:15:21take1:15:21>> Yeah, he's like I'm in the clear.1:15:23>> Yeah,1:15:23>> he totally changed his tune. His face1:15:25was1:15:27>> Sorry. I For me, it's like you could say1:15:30stuff to me, but I I've noticed I get1:15:32frustrated when people try to like like1:15:34punk people around me. That's that's the1:15:36thing I'm always like, "God, please1:15:38don't."1:15:38>> Oh, yeah. I've seen that. Yeah. When1:15:40whenever people get mad at like us or1:15:42our camera guys or something, you1:15:44instantly like turn1:15:45>> Yeah. It's It's hard. That's still1:15:47difficult. You could say stuff about me,1:15:49whatever, you know, but bro, you're like1:15:51saying stuff about the homies like1:15:52they're they're not even doing anything1:15:53wrong. Like, oh my gosh.1:15:55>> What if Johnny's like, "You're saying a1:15:56bunch of two losers, too short." Like,1:15:58>> that's basically the sentiment. Like, he1:16:00was like, "Some guy tried to punk1:16:01Balin." And if you know Balin, he's just1:16:03like the goofiest 22-year-old skinny,1:16:05lanky, chill dude, like couldn't hurt a1:16:07fly. And some guy was like kind of1:16:08trying to punk him just cuz from like1:16:09Johnny's similar background. And1:16:11Benjamin Johnny just like drew the line.1:16:13He's like,1:16:13>> "You can talk to me, but you're going to1:16:15try to punk Balen." It's like then we1:16:16got a problem.1:16:17>> That's crazy, bro. That's bully. Look,1:16:19bully mentality is crazy. Where I come1:16:21from, we bully the bullies. Like that's1:16:23just how it is. Like I've even though we1:16:25were gang members, we were never taught1:16:27like, "Hey, do do this and bully other1:16:29people." It's like, bro, that's that's1:16:31weak. Like to to bully somebody who's1:16:33straight up no, you know, a nobody.1:16:35Like, come on now. That's crazy. You're1:16:36not a gangster for that. You know, you1:16:38don't bully women. You don't bully kids.1:16:40You don't like that's just a street1:16:41code. You don't bully like old people.1:16:44You don't bully squares. You don't bully1:16:45ner like we bully squares.1:16:47>> Not to put it like that, but like he's1:16:48like we're civilians like1:16:49>> Yeah, exactly. We don't touch civilians,1:16:51bro. Residents are just regular people,1:16:53bro.1:16:53>> I should have been like, "What's up, C?"1:16:56>> That would have been like, "Hey, beat1:16:58him up. Beat him up. Beat him up for1:17:00sure. What's up, C?"1:17:03>> That's crazy.1:17:04>> Okay, so anyways, as you interrupted my1:17:06last question,1:17:08>> most people don't like being hated on1:17:10and they run from rejection. But why do1:17:13you say it's good for them? Because1:17:14rejection is an exposer. So it exposes1:17:19through the rejection if you're leaning1:17:22on validation or approval. Do do you1:17:25know do you understand what I'm saying?1:17:27>> Example, priest.1:17:28>> So1:17:30if if I'm sitting here and a woman1:17:33rejects me and my heart is I want to1:17:37idolize that woman above God, right?1:17:39that rejection would be good for me1:17:41because now I can lean on God instead of1:17:44wanting to replace God with that person.1:17:47>> And that's why God removes people out of1:17:49life, you know, people out of your life1:17:51to expose and reveal, hey, you are1:17:53depending on something more than me and1:17:56you're supposed to depend on me. And1:17:58this is for even atheist, people who1:18:00don't believe because God wants a1:18:01relationship with everybody, right? So1:18:05if you if you only want a relationship1:18:09like outside of God reject, you're going1:18:11to you're going to really want a people1:18:14please. You're going to want to like do1:18:17everything for everyone's rejection. You1:18:19you will have no spine basically. It's1:18:21more of just like okay what do you want?1:18:23You want okay well I'll also do this and1:18:25then we know people like that. We are1:18:27people like that. I was a person like1:18:28that too. like you only want validation1:18:30or or your life will be dependent on1:18:32other people's values.1:18:33>> 100% if you need people's validation and1:18:36approval, you will always compromise.1:18:38That's what it is at the end.1:18:39>> Pay close attention to this.1:18:40>> I know that is my big that is a problem.1:18:43>> Jeremy, bro,1:18:44>> well, sorry for trying to correct and1:18:46help my friend. It's not like I don't1:18:48absorb everything from these episodes1:18:49and instantly apply it to my life.1:18:52So, so re rejection is really good in1:18:54that and why I say it's good, it's1:18:56actually really really good because it1:18:59will always force you to choose approval1:19:01or truth. That's that's the thing. Okay,1:19:05am I going to choose to be approved by1:19:07people and go with the flow with them or1:19:09am I going to go no I'm going to draw a1:19:10boundary and I won't compromise on truth1:19:12like I'll accept truth. And so I think1:19:15what I've learned going from and I again1:19:18shout out to my pastors for this but I1:19:20went from like okay I don't have to it1:19:22doesn't matter like people don't like me1:19:23anyways oh well I'm just going to push1:19:25forward but it is difficult more when1:19:28it's with family members and it's with1:19:30people who you do want approval with1:19:32because they genuinely are your family1:19:35you care about them you love them you1:19:36know but that's why even God says you1:19:38know in Psalm 27:101:19:41when my father and my mother forsake me1:19:43then the Lord will take me up. You know1:19:46what's crazy is this word he goes when1:19:49he doesn't say if like we are nine times1:19:53out of 10 our families cause us more1:19:55more hurt than anyone else and rejection1:19:58usually comes from family. That's why1:20:00there's family drama in every family,1:20:02right? And so there's just parts where1:20:04you're like, dang, it's not if, but when1:20:07is kind of crazy reading that scripture,1:20:09it makes me go, okay, there's a time1:20:12where even your own family members will1:20:14reject you. Not in a negative way, just1:20:16biblically speaking, then that rejection1:20:19allows you to then realign with God and1:20:21realign with truth versus looking for1:20:23other people's approval. It's not wrong1:20:24to want to look for other people's1:20:26approval, though, right? I'm not saying1:20:27that that's an issue. Of course, we want1:20:29approval. Of course, we want validation.1:20:31It's when validation and approval1:20:33becomes your God. You're so much so that1:20:35you're compromising God's truth, too.1:20:37And you're going, "Uh, I'll just go out1:20:39with the homies." Like, you know, I know1:20:41God says not to, but whatever. Like, I1:20:42want them to still think that I'm cool.1:20:44Then it's like, that's that becomes a1:20:46problem cuz now you're again1:20:47compromising the truth. You shouldn't1:20:49really do that. Shouldn't really do1:20:51that.1:20:52What's the last rejection that you could1:20:54remember that exposed1:20:56>> some part of you1:20:59>> that you're like, "Oh, that did sting or1:21:01I did care about that a lot."1:21:05>> That's a tough one.1:21:06>> What about you?1:21:07>> I don't remember.1:21:08>> I can name an annoying one. I don't1:21:10think it actually super like hurt your1:21:12feelings or anything, but one that was1:21:13super annoying was like when, and I1:21:15don't know, we don't have to include1:21:16this or not, but when churches will be1:21:18down for after service and then back out1:21:20for whatever reason. M1:21:21>> and it's just like1:21:23>> it's just super annoying and for all the1:21:25wrong reasons too.1:21:26>> Yeah. Facts.1:21:28>> Um and that's just like a rejection that1:21:29we go through at this company constantly1:21:31where it's just like and we have to1:21:33accept it and move on and you know1:21:34accept the truth in it that these people1:21:36are just who they are or whatever. But1:21:38>> that's an annoying one for sure.1:21:39>> Yeah.1:21:40>> Agreed. For me, it's more of just like I1:21:43kind of know like it's like it's just1:21:45when you've been in the Christian1:21:47community long enough, there's a bunch1:21:50of people who are just haters, man. Even1:21:52when they're like, "I love you. I care1:21:54about you, brother." Like, deep down1:21:56there there's always that competition1:21:58aspect of like,1:22:00>> "All right, let me see real quick. Okay,1:22:02you got 4 million." All right, that's1:22:03that's cool. Like, ah, that wasn't1:22:05really right. But like, bro, there's1:22:07always that type of It's It's so weird,1:22:09bro. It's so weird. It's like1:22:11>> sinners judging other sinners sinning1:22:13differently1:22:14>> 100%. And it's not it's just like why is1:22:16this a competition?1:22:18>> When I look at other congregations and I1:22:20see how deep they are. I'm happy.1:22:22>> I'm not like Malcolm's not like that.1:22:25Like I literally sit there and I'll be1:22:27like dang that's dope. Look at the1:22:29revival. Look at how many people are1:22:31coming to God.1:22:32>> Why would you sit there and like you you1:22:34hate you don't congratulate? It's like1:22:35dang. Why not sit there and be like,1:22:37"Yo, this in this era, we're witnessing1:22:39something so amazing because your1:22:42doctrine is not right, you heretic."1:22:44>> Yeah, but it's like what what they're1:22:46really saying is you're pulling away1:22:48from my congregation like Paul was1:22:50pulling away from those people who1:22:52fasted for four, you know, the 40 people1:22:54that fasted and said, "We will not stop1:22:56fasting and praying until Paul dies."1:22:59Like they're just mad that we're pulling1:23:01away real people and turning them to1:23:04real truth, which is the gospel. And1:23:06that's just the sad part. And1:23:08>> that's your truth, you heretic.1:23:10>> I've read the Bible for 50 years.1:23:12>> That's great. Read the Bible 50 years.1:23:14>> 37,000 times.1:23:16>> That's great. That's great. And you1:23:18still say that you're a sinner is crazy.1:23:20>> Yeah.1:23:21>> So for me, it's it's it's just1:23:24>> I don't know. I see other congregations1:23:26and I'm like, dang, that's dope. I never1:23:28look at someone and go, I could do1:23:31better. Like, there's never that hard.1:23:32It's like, dang, that's hard. Like,1:23:34that's cool. And I hope that they can be1:23:36led correctly because at the end of the1:23:38day, these are real people with real1:23:41lives and real problems and real1:23:43relationships that they want to have1:23:45with God. I rarely see that, man. I see1:23:48more people,1:23:50they walk up on stage like they're Kanye1:23:53>> and they walk off like they're Drake,1:23:55you know? Like, I hit that. Mhm. Hell1:23:58yeah. It's like, dang, fool. Relax,1:24:00dude. It's not even your Bible. It's not1:24:02even your Nothing is yours. Your body is1:24:05not yours. Your life is not yours. Your1:24:06spirit is not yours. Nothing is yours.1:24:09How you going to How you going to tell1:24:10me you go up there and be like, "Yeah,1:24:11I'm amazing." Yeah. It's like, you're1:24:13not, though. At the end of the day,1:24:15we're dirt and we're just vessels. So,1:24:18when I see another vessel being used, me1:24:20being a vessel who's truly dirt and1:24:22humble is going to go, "Yo, that's so1:24:24dope. We should work with them. we1:24:26should advance the kingdom together.1:24:28Man, there's so many people that behind1:24:30the scenes be low-key just hating on us1:24:33and still be like, "We love you. We care1:24:34about you." But deep down, they do hate1:24:36on us and they think we're stupid. We1:24:38have to play the game because we want1:24:39them to come to the gospel, too.1:24:41>> You know, at the end of the day, I1:24:43really want people to come to the1:24:44gospel. That's the only reason why, you1:24:46know, but there are times where I have1:24:48to draw the line, too, and be like, "Yo,1:24:50respectfully,1:24:51y'all ain't y'all don't care about the1:24:52gospel. Y'all don't even sense it." Like1:24:55you have to I still don't believe people1:24:58don't sense it though. I believe if1:24:59you're standing in front of God and you1:25:01have an ounce of fear, 1% fear of God,1:25:04you would not sit there and be like,1:25:06"Yeah, I could do whatever I want. Like1:25:08I I no one can see what I'm doing."1:25:10Because you're taught from a young age1:25:12that God sees everything. Like that's1:25:15why I try not to like run game on1:25:16people. Of course, we could run game. Of1:25:18course, we could manipulate. But why1:25:19don't we do it? Because I know God's1:25:21right there. I can't run game on God. I1:25:23can't manipulate God. is literally1:25:24watching me every single day, every1:25:26single moment. How am I going to play1:25:28him? I could play everybody else except1:25:29for him. That's crazy. But people are1:25:32that bold to go, I don't care about him.1:25:34As long as I get these people to give me1:25:36what's in their pockets, to give me1:25:38their hearts to exalt me, that's good1:25:40for me, man. Shame on you. Straight up.1:25:42Like, shame on y'all if you do that1:25:44respectfully.1:25:46>> Yeah. The competitive mindset is very1:25:47self-exalting. Like, you've always had a1:25:49collabor there's there's two very1:25:50distinct groups of people. the1:25:52collaborative mindset and the1:25:53competitive mindset. And when you're1:25:54being collaborative, it's all to further1:25:56the kingdom. You're collabing with God's1:25:58will, not your own. But the competitive1:25:59mindset is like, I need it to be done1:26:01how I want it to be done. And why is he1:26:02doing it like that?1:26:03>> And like you said with those churches,1:26:05just sinners judging other sinners for1:26:07sinning differently.1:26:08>> And it's funny because it's like reminds1:26:09me of the two the two niche enthusiasts1:26:11arguing. It'll be like you have two1:26:13fishermen and one is like, "Oh, I love1:26:15deep sea fishing. It's way better than1:26:16the other." Like, "No, fly fishing in1:26:17the river. It's cooler when you're in1:26:19the water." The guy's like, "No, but we1:26:20catch se sea water." It's like to1:26:22everyone else, you guys just look like1:26:23two fishermen.1:26:24>> No one else can tell the intricacies of1:26:26what you're even arguing about. We just1:26:27see two fishermen.1:26:28>> Me and Johnny arguing about which Korean1:26:30barbecue spot is better.1:26:31>> Yeah.1:26:32>> I just see two Chinese people.1:26:34>> Yeah, they're Chinese.1:26:35>> You're like, "Wait, but I'm Shut up."1:26:38>> No.1:26:38>> Did you see that King of the Hill1:26:39episode where he's like, "So, are you1:26:42Chinese or are you Japanese?" He's like,1:26:43"I'm Le Oceanian." He's like, "So, are1:26:45you Chinese? Are you1:26:48>> Which kind of Mexican are you?1:26:51But yeah, no, it just Yeah,1:26:54>> that's the end of that episode.1:26:55>> Yep, that's the end of that episode.1:26:56>> No, I have a little segment.1:26:58>> Okay, go ahead.1:26:58>> Okay, so everybody, it's a couple1:27:00episodes ago.1:27:02>> I've uh everybody submitted their1:27:04favorite Bible verse,1:27:06>> and I ranked them. So, let me pull up1:27:08this sheet.1:27:09>> Well, that actually reminds me of1:27:10something. When you're done with this,1:27:11we said that we would pick one of these1:27:13to win a free membership.1:27:14>> Oh, did we?1:27:15>> Yeah. So, let's pick one now.1:27:16>> Well,1:27:17>> when you're done. Well, he doesn't have1:27:18the1:27:18>> Well, I don't have the per You'd have to1:27:20go through the actual comments of the1:27:21videos. So, here's the cool statistics.1:27:23>> 772 total comments on the video.1:27:26>> Wow.1:27:27>> 543 comments included at least one Bible1:27:29verse reference.1:27:30>> Wow.1:27:31>> Which is 59% of the whole comment1:27:33section.1:27:34>> And 484 total verse references across1:27:37227 unique verses.1:27:39>> Wow.1:27:40>> Jeez.1:27:40>> Drawn from 47 different books of the1:27:42Bible. Let1:39:47us bow our head.1:39:50Father God, thank you so much for1:39:51allowing us to really learn about the1:39:53gospel, Lord, and more importantly,1:39:55Lord, to be able to tell the difference1:39:58between correction from love and also1:40:00judgment and observation. There's so1:40:02many people, God, that judge, and they1:40:04don't realize that there's only one1:40:06judge, which is you. They also don't1:40:08know how to judge righteousness and1:40:09judge righteously, which is out of love,1:40:12Father God, and out of grace. Many of us1:40:14forget our grace, Lord. We forget that1:40:16you walk with us. You carry us. You give1:40:18us the knowledge and the wisdom. You1:40:20allow us to breathe. You allow us to1:40:22live. You allow allow us to love people.1:40:24You allow us to correct people. And many1:40:27times we forget those things. Lord, I1:40:29ask that you allow the congregation and1:40:31any of the listeners to remember their1:40:32grace. When we depart from grace, we1:40:35essentially depart from you. Lord, we1:40:37start to become our own judges. We1:40:39become our own idols. We become our own1:40:40gods. And Lord, I wish that upon nobody1:40:43because you're not in competition with1:40:45anyone because no one can hold a candle1:40:47to you. Rather, God, you're there and1:40:49you're working together with everybody1:40:51to be able to restore everybody with1:40:53your love and your grace. Please allow1:40:55us to remember that, Lord. If there's1:40:56anybody that's getting persecuted, also1:40:58please allow them to remember that they1:41:00need to receive grace from the people1:41:03who are persecuting them. that everyone1:41:05needs to operate positionally from1:41:06grace. With that being said, Lord, we1:41:09leave everything in your hands. And in1:41:10Jesus name we pray. Amen.1:41:12>> Amen.1:41:13>> Like, comment, and subscribe.1:41:15>> Peace.1:41:15>> If you want to support the podcast,1:41:16here's every free way that you could do1:41:18it.
