When I read the0:16Bible, I slob out the mouth. What does0:19this mean? Slob out the mouth. What do0:22you mean like you drool? Means you're0:24hungry, big dog. You're hungry, big dog.0:28I'm [laughter]0:30Is that what it is? Hung be hungry, man.0:32You're so hungry. If you if you slob at0:35the mouth and you read the Bible, you0:36got you eat a little bit before you you0:38know what I'm saying? You salivate. Is0:41that what you Yeah. You got to um You0:44got to eaten.0:48It's like,0:55right? I still can't focus on the Bible0:57even when I try to focus. That's okay.0:59That's okay. That's what it means. That1:01that's that's the rep, right? You have1:03to keep trying, guys. Trust me. You1:06don't get anything in one go. It's just1:08the truth. So, when you when you see1:12your mind strain, just try to pull it1:14back a little bit and do what I tell you1:16guys to do, right? Take a take a second1:20to breathe,1:22right? Like a deep breath and go and say1:24it out loud. I'm going to try to focus1:27for the next 15 minutes, God willing.1:29Right? And then try again. And then when1:32it uh you know strays again,1:35breathe, stop, close your eyes a little,1:38open them. Okay? And focus again. And1:40really, it helps you to realign your1:42mind. Right? Understood? Speaking of1:46eating, can you explain why today we can1:48eat meat and certain things? Because1:50Jesus freed us from the laws. That's1:52why. So it's not it's not uh the old1:57Levitical laws that we're under anymore.1:59And in fact, we're not under any of the2:01law. We're under grace. So there's the2:04law of grace and mercy. And there's2:06which is a spirit in life. And there's2:08the law of sin and death, which is you2:10try to maintain your sins and you die,2:13right? Is there a way to prepare for a2:16water only fast? Yes. A lot of prayer.2:18make sure that you're, you know,2:20medically okay for it as well, whether2:22it's blood draws or whatever, and then2:24do it right. I was just watching. You2:27must prepare to enter heaven by Pastor2:30Kim. There you go. Beautiful. Beautiful.2:32Beautiful. Um, yeah. Let's see. I really2:37needed this message from God cuz I'm2:39dying inside. No, no, no. That that's2:42just what you think and feel. I'm sure2:44your vitals are okay. I'm sure your2:46body's okay. But the en the enemy loves2:49to do that. Yo, y'all give the enemy too2:53much credit. Genuinely. Genuinely.2:56Right. How do I say? It's just crazy,2:59man. Like, he loves to just tell you3:01guys like, "Yeah, you're you're wicked.3:05You suck. You're dying inside." It's3:08like, bro, we don't need to listen. You3:11know what I mean? Pastor Johnny, what3:13what means if I've renounced my3:15bloodline curses? I was asked by this by3:18this by another Christian. I don't know3:19what it means. Again, um not everyone is3:22a Christian just because they say they3:24believe in Jesus, right? You don't3:25renounce what Jesus already removed,3:28right? He removed the bloodline curse3:30and all curses from you. He delivered3:32you, made you righteous, perfected, and3:34holy, right? [snorts] Like a lot of3:37these Christians, quote unquote, they3:40use language that sounds super3:42spiritual. bloodline curses,3:44generational curses, and the ear gates3:47and eye gates, and you have to be3:49careful of that. It's like nowhere in3:51the Bible does it say anything like3:52that, right? You're not missing anything3:55either, right? But if you look at3:57Galatians 3:13, Christ has redeemed us3:59from the curse of the law, being made a4:01curse for us. He redeemed past tense4:04from the curse of the law and was made4:07past tense a curse for us. So if Jesus4:10already became a curse for you, what4:13curse is left for you to renounce? Do4:15you understand what I'm saying? If he4:17removed you and translated you into the4:19kingdom of our dear father, if he4:21delivered us from darkness, right, and4:24raised us, you know, in his4:26justification, what what is it that we4:28need? Right? So I think people have the4:32right intention, but the wrong language.4:35They're trying to explain something that4:36they think which which is good intention4:38is real, but they're using the wrong4:40language. So when they see like habitual4:43patterns and like family behavior and4:45trauma, right? Instead of calling that4:49what the Bible calls it, which is sin,4:51which is the generational curse, if you4:53will, they call it generational curses.4:55Oh, see, my father was an alcoholic and4:57his father was an alcoholic and4:59therefore I'm an alcoholic. Like they5:01they put so much power to that. Like I5:04said guys, we give power to those5:06things. Why can't you break the5:08bloodline? Why can't you do that?5:10Understand? So no one put a curse on5:12you. It's just the patterns that are5:14part of your body when you're born that5:17way in Psalm 58:3, Psalm 51:5. We are5:20born that way. If you grow up in a house5:23where everyone lies, for example, you5:26might lie too, right? Why is that a5:29curse? No. That means you learned it.5:31You're situationally absorbing the5:33things around you. That's not5:35necessarily a curse, right? It's just a5:37learned behavior. And all behaviors can5:40be unlearned, too. Understand? Right? We5:43used to be super focused. We used to be,5:46you know, super athletic. It's a part of5:48behavior and discipline to wake up and5:49work out. And some of you guys fell off5:52on your workout regimen and gained some5:55weight. And what does that mean? You5:57know, it's proof, right, that you lost a6:00behavior and habit. It's the same thing.6:03When you trust in Jesus, something6:05happens. You're no longer under a curse.6:08You're under grace. That's why it says6:09if any man is a new be in Christ, he is6:11a new creature. All the old ways have6:14passed. So again, you don't need to6:16renounce curses. You need to renounce6:18the curse, which is you were born as a6:21sinner and now reborn as a saint. Right?6:25A lot of Christians mean well, but6:27they're still living in fear and6:29thinking in fear and operating from6:31fear. And then what they do is they pass6:34that fear down to everybody else. That's6:37what it is, right? When you guys think6:40about like demonic possessions too,6:42people are like, "Oh my gosh, I'm so6:44afraid." Like, do you understand that6:46the demons tremble when they see Jesus?6:49And if you have Jesus in you, they6:51tremble, too. But no one thinks that.6:53They just think, "Oh my gosh, if a door6:55shuts, if you know, my tire pops or, you6:57know, if I did something wrong and then6:59I saw heard a voice and some snarling,7:02oh my goodness, I'm so done for." And7:05yet they're still able to say, "I'm done7:06for. I'm going to die. I'm under7:08attack." And still be alive, right? It's7:11just weird, right? You understand? And7:14so if anybody says that, go, "Hey, I7:15believe Jesus already became the curse7:17for me. So we're not under any curses,7:20and I just have to learn to walk in7:21that." Right? Right? That's what it is.7:24But again, a lot of people mean well.7:26You guys see the Tik Toks, you guys see7:27the Instagram, they mean well. When they7:30tell you guys to follow the7:31commandments, they mean well. But little7:33do they know that's the work of the7:34enemy, right? You guys do realize that7:38Satan tricked Adam and Eve with truth on7:41the on in the garden. He said, "You will7:44be like God's knowing good and evil."7:47Right? And and what did what did God7:50say? He confirmed that. He said they are7:52now like gods, one of us, knowing good7:55and evil. Right? It wasn't a lie. He7:58told them the good thing, but he didn't8:00show them the heart under the good8:01thing, which was evil. That's what Satan8:03always does. He gives you good things8:05and he doesn't show you the8:06ramifications of how good that is, and8:09it's going to mess you up and makes you8:10become your own god. That's the thing8:12about Satan, right? He loves to utilize8:15those things to like hurt you. Oh, just8:18be good. What's wrong with trying to8:20keep the commandments? That's a good8:21thing, right? But if you try to keep the8:23commandments, you're cursed. That's what8:25it says. Because then you're trying to8:26become Jesus and only Jesus could keep8:29the commandments. Understand, right?8:32I've been wanting to ask. I was essay as8:35a child. I now have a sister in Christ8:36whom father has committed these acts.8:38When she told me, I was shocked, but now8:39I feel a type of way. How can I speak to8:41her about this subject? Her dad is8:42saved, but still feel weird when he8:44tries to talk to me. when she tries to8:46talk to me about her dad, you can tell8:47the truth, but you can also understand8:49that that's mainly just the trauma8:51that's speaking. Uh, of course, you8:54know, what happened to you wasn't okay,8:55and what happened to that person also8:57wasn't okay either, right? But you can9:00also open up to them. You guys can9:02connect because of that. You can say,9:03"Hey, that's why they really need Jesus.9:05Not everyone is saved." Again, who says9:07that they're saved? It's just the truth.9:10And so, it's okay. Don't don't blame9:11God. It wasn't God who did that. and9:13preach the gospel to her, right? The9:15true biblical untouched gospel, right?9:18For real, losing my mind over my ex.9:20Beyond that, I've just lost flow with my9:22God, with God. I like I feel like how9:23did I uh I did before my salvation9:26moment fully back in my old ways and I9:28don't see an end. Well, because you're9:29good, right? That's what happened,9:32right? When you don't need God anymore,9:34then you you become good. Then you just9:37kind of stray away from him. So God9:39allows things like this to show you who9:40you are. If you're really good, would9:42your ex leave you? Right? If you're9:44really good, would you fall back into9:45yourself? No. That's what you have to9:47realize. Oh, I can't trust myself. A lot9:50of people go through this. They become9:51complacent because they receive9:52salvation and they get all of this9:54knowledge. This is what happens when you9:55have knowledge without surrender.9:57Everyone goes through this. Myself9:58included. We all went through it. So,10:00you know, when you know a lot of10:01knowledge, that's why it's it's good and10:03it's bad. Cuz knowledge brings more10:05sorrow. And because you know that you're10:08righteous and perfected, then it's10:10easier for you to kind of not feel so10:12guilty about the things and then you10:13fall into those things. And that's just10:15how it is, right? At the end of the day,10:18you have to realize, oh no, I'm I'm I10:20can only do this. Rod Wilson can only do10:22this. If I trust myself, I can only be10:25like this, going crazy, losing my mind10:27over my ex. And the reason why I think10:29he removed the ex was because she was10:31becoming an idol. If you're going crazy10:32over your ex, that means you're giving10:34more attention to your ex than you are10:36to God. And that's why he removed it10:38because he doesn't hate you. He loves10:40you. He doesn't want you to have an10:41idol. And that's just how it is. And10:43that's pure idol worship. If you're10:45choosing that above everything else,10:47right? That's just what it is, right?10:50Okay. So, yeah. Uh, Pastor Johnny been10:54going through church to a new church.10:56They use NLT as opposed to KJV, but they10:58seem very gospel- centered. Um, what11:00does that mean? what does very gospel-11:01centered mean, right? They find a way to11:03point the sermons back to Jesus. What do11:06you think? I mean, that's fine. I don't11:07think it's an issue. Um, but again, you11:10know, what what does it really mean to11:11be gospel centered, right? You have to11:14uh not only just point everything back11:16to Jesus because again, it could just be11:18head knowledge. Uh, you have to learn11:20spiritual life and application into your11:22life, right? So yeah, found a dramatized11:26KJV and I found that it actually calms11:29my thoughts for sure. Uh I find I'm11:31finding myself transactional and I'm not11:33sure how to take that in. Just realize11:35that that's who you are. You're not as11:36good as you think you are and none of us11:38are. We're all transactional to some11:40degree. We're not good people. We're11:43just not. Right? And so it's not an11:45issue when you realize that about11:46yourself. Oh, I'm not I'm not good. Uh11:49you're good in in in your own way, but11:50not in in the eyes of God. It's11:52different, right? We're only good11:53because of Jesus. So he knew that you11:56were transactional. He knew that11:57everyone was transactional. He still11:59died for them. So you don't have to feel12:01or or take it take it in. You have to12:02accept that and go, "Oh yeah, I'm a12:04person who's transactional, but God12:06still died for me. What a good God."12:07See, I'm no good, but he's good. We're12:09like magnets. I'm a negative, but he's a12:11positive, and we draw to each other12:12because of that. And that's just what it12:14is. You just acknowledge that and move12:16forward. Yeah. You keep being12:17transactional and believe that God is12:19going to help you through that, right?12:20We're all transactional to some degree,12:23right? You guys, this is a transaction.12:24You come in here because I spit bars,12:26because I spit the gospel and that bigs12:28you up and helps you. If I if I just sat12:30here and was just making noises all all12:32day, you wouldn't listen to me, right?12:34So, everything to some degree is12:36transactional, right? It's not that it's12:38a bad thing, but you have to you have to12:40have that self-awareness. Oh, I'm12:42transactional. I I only care about12:44myself. I should listen, you know,12:46instead of just thinking about myself.12:48Those things are are really good, right?12:50Satan wants us to think we're wicked and12:51far from God for what we do. Uh, I mean,12:54not really. Satan actually wants you to12:56think you're close to God and that's12:58what you become wicked. He doesn't want13:00you to think you're wicked. Satan13:02actually loves to to make you think that13:03you're close to God and you're good so13:05that so that you miss the forest for the13:07trees. That's why God says a lot of13:09people love me with their mouth. They13:10don't they're far from me in their13:11heart. He even says not everyone who13:13says Lord Lord will enter my kingdom. He13:15loves actually the opposite. He wants13:16you to be good. Right? The the mantra of13:19the world is to do good. But remember,13:21God is not of this world. The god of13:23this world is Satan. The prince of the13:24power of the air is Satan. The prince13:26and the king of this world is Satan.13:28He's given him dominion over the world.13:30Right? So the world, if it's teaching13:32you anything like follow your thoughts,13:34that's from Satan. Follow your gut,13:35follow your heart, that's from Satan13:36because your heart is deceitful. Your13:38thoughts are deceitful. If he says do13:39good, love people, that's actually not13:41God saying that. God is saying you can't13:43do good. You can't love on people.13:45That's why I sent the only good Jesus13:46Christ to love you and do good for you.13:49So again, it's not, you know, guys, try13:51try not to no no disrespect. Um, add the13:55thoughts into it because it can cause13:56confusion. I know this is an open chat,13:58but read the rules. Listen carefully. I14:00know if you guys are new, right, we have14:02to think about that. Okay. Um, pastor,14:04how do I stop being arrogant with the14:06word? I I at times want to win arguments14:08when my brother starts to bring up how14:10I'm supposed to act like a Christian.14:11Oh, I mean, you're just you're feeling14:13attacked,14:14right? And you you feel invalidated by14:17him, which is all probably true. But if14:19you just acknowledge, yeah, I'm I'm not14:21I'm not good. I don't live like a14:22Christian, and that's why I'm a14:23Christian because I need to go to God,14:26right? You you then start to boast in14:28your iniquities. You be like, oh, it's14:30not that bad. You know, I'm just I can't14:34you know what I mean? I can't do14:35anything, right? So um you have to kind14:37of understand that if you defend14:40yourself, right? Then you don't believe14:41God is a defender. You can realize14:43something. Oh, they don't know what14:44they're saying. Like yesterday, all14:46these people were coming at me and I was14:47literally just telling the unlocks.14:49Somebody was saying something about I14:50think it was sanctification or14:52justification, something like that. I14:53don't remember. I think it was14:54sanctification how it was progressive14:56and you know they were saying what they14:57were saying and and at the end of it you14:59know like I led with yeah guys this is a15:01free app. There's a free version.15:03There's also a paid version. bro was15:04like, "Well, how much are you going to15:06charge, you know, for God giving you15:08something that God gave you for free?"15:10Right? Something like that. And I was15:11like, "Dang, he already has his mind15:12made up about me." Right? Again, a lot15:15of people are this way, right? They're15:17very, very um, how do I say, just15:20frustrated, you know, and evil in this15:23way. A lot of us are, right? And so,15:25it's okay. It's okay to to to know what15:29they're they're going to say about you.15:30It's just how it is, right? And accept15:32what they say. And if you acknowledge15:33what they say, then that's what it is,15:37right? It's just what it is.15:38>> Hey, if you're enjoying this episode, I15:40have a whole other video episode on all15:42platforms, YouTube, Spotify, Instagram,15:45all that every single Monday. Each15:48episode is a gospel- centered lesson15:49that you could apply to your life today.15:52So, this is more conversational. You15:53guys know my team, Jeremy and Aaron. We15:56just have a lot of fun. We joke around,15:58but we get serious. We get vulnerable.16:00It's just very very different and it's16:02beautiful. I hope you guys can tune in16:04and we made this for you guys. So,16:06please enjoy. Should I stop talking to16:08someone that is practicing Reiki? I have16:10a friend that's been dis that's been16:12disregarded by other friends because of16:14her spiritual beliefs accusing her of16:16idolizing God's that's that's messed up,16:18you know, to be honest. We all idolize16:19something. If you don't speak the gospel16:21to her, who will? And Jesus didn't do16:24that where he was like, "Oh, these16:25people are worshiping idols. Yeah, I'm16:27I'm done with them." them. No, he went16:28and met them in the same place and he16:30went and he spoke to them, right? And he16:32was like, "Hey, I am the way, the truth,16:35the life." So, you can always be there16:36for them. I don't think you should16:37impose your religion onto them. I don't16:39think they're ready for it. But if16:40they're looking for something spiritual,16:43then that's a good start because16:44everybody that means she's empty. That's16:46why she's practicing Reiki, right?16:49Understand what I'm saying, right? And16:51so at the end of the day, like there16:54people are just like same same thing16:56like when people cast out LGBTQ.16:58They're they're really just looking for17:00love. Like they it's twisted, sure, but17:03like if you realign their heart to God.17:06Imagine that, right? So me too. Pastor17:08Kim Saul, oh Johnny's a gang member.17:10He's a ride or die and he's representing17:12something bigger than himself. He will17:14die for his gang. He's kind of crazy17:15like that. He clearly stood 10 toes, did17:17many years in prison. If we change that17:20energy and redirect that energy and17:22transfer that energy to Jesus and God,17:24he'd be powerful. That's what pastor saw17:26in me. Understand? Now, imagine this17:29this this friend who's practicing Reiki.17:32If she realigns her heart to practice17:34Christianity and love God and even if17:37everyone's disregarding her, she'd be17:39very strong and she kept that energy.17:41How powerful would she be for a kingdom?17:43But see, people don't think like that.17:45What do they think? Oh, you're doing17:47something wrong. See you later. That's17:48wrong. To even think that we should stop17:51talking to somebody is crazy. Imagine if17:53God did that to us. Hey, I'm going to17:55stop talking to you because you keep17:56sinning,17:59right? I I this guy right here, Johnny18:01Chang, I keep telling him, dude, not to18:02sin. He knows all about the Bible, bro.18:04Keep sinning. What the hell's wrong with18:05him? I'm done with him. Should I cut him18:06off? It's like, if he did that to us,18:09you know, we we have to kind of feel a18:11little bit of sadness, a little bit of18:13remorse. So, I'm not saying18:14condemnation, [snorts] but we have to18:16realize, dude, what the hell is wrong18:17with me? Understand what I'm saying,18:20right? I'm I'm genuinely a person who18:23judges other people, and I don't even18:25realize I'm doing the same. [snorts] You18:27guys understand what I'm saying? Again,18:28we're all human. We're all human, right?18:32And when you become uh when you realize18:34that we're all human and we all mess up18:36in certain ways, then you start to have18:38empathy and compassion. you start to18:40realize, oh my gosh, I'm I'm not a good18:43person, right? Understand? So, yeah,18:46that's that's okay. Uh, an old guy told18:49me uh in my men's a gold guy in my men's18:52group came up to me saying, "Why are you18:54reading KJV? That's for old people."18:55Then proceeds to tell me I'm a I'm still18:56a sinner and that sanctification is a18:58prophet because KJV is old, outdated18:59English. And he claims NIV is the best19:01one. Again, he doesn't know, right?19:04these people who come up to you and make19:06judgments and make these these um kind19:09of irrational19:11uh statements. You can again they've19:13he's made up his mind. He doesn't want19:15to have dialogue. The why you reading is19:17not a real question. He just followed it19:19up with a statement that's for old19:21people and it's outdated and he claims19:23NIV is the best. Right? So he he already19:27in his heart made up his mind. What are19:30you going to do to change that? Uh the19:31answer is nothing. Right? Like I said,19:34if somebody already looks at me and19:36they're like, "Bro, you're stupid. You19:38know, you you you don't know about19:39sanctification, you're wrong, blah blah19:41blah." And they're in my live stream.19:44What can I do to change their their19:45mind? I even gave scripture and they19:47don't care.19:49Right? So, it's it's those types of19:51people. It says in the Bible in Romans,19:53mark them and move forward. It says,19:55"Avoid foolish and unlearned questions19:58for they do gender strife." Right? So,20:00we we just move forward. You don't ever20:02try to have to explain. Oh, okay. Cool.20:04Yeah, that's Hey, more power to you,20:05man. It's all the Bible. No, it's not20:07the Bible because it's this and this and20:08this and this and King Jame King James20:10was a a lesser and blah like Okay, cool.20:13Yeah, that's that's cool. Good for you,20:16right? It's like, good for you.20:18Understand? I mean, that's your opinion.20:20Great. You know, a a lot of the times20:23you you guys know when you come and meet20:25people, they're just like that. They20:27just will say things out of the blue.20:30You understand, right? I think I think20:33that's just how it is at the end of the20:34day, right? Morning, Pastor Johnny. I20:37was wondering, would John, who wrote20:38Revelation 17, have had access to20:40Paul's? Yes. So, Paul's letters came in20:43like 50 AD after death, 50 years after20:45Jesus. Um, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John20:48actually, believe it or not, came around20:5065 to 75 AD. So when you look at the uh20:55timeline20:56uh first and second Thessalonians are20:58all of the the the the stuff that he21:00wrote to the churches. Believe it or21:01not, Peter and them learned from Paul21:04even though Paul wasn't one of the 12,21:06right? He wasn't one of the the original21:09uh uh disciples inside of uh meeting21:12Jesus in person. He never met Jesus in21:14person. He met Jesus right in in the21:16spirit, but he didn't meet him in21:17person. He wasn't there. He wasn't part21:19of the the 12. And so at the end of the21:22day, um, you know, he wrote a lot of21:25these books. He wrote first21:27Thessalonians, second, those are21:28actually the first books of the Bible.21:30[snorts] Um, but they order it by gospel21:33because of the, you know, just the the21:35the order, right? How things worked, not21:38by by the timeline, but actually by the21:40event line, right? By the events that21:42actually happened. And Matthew, Mark,21:43Luke, and John obviously spoke about21:45Jesus and his timeline. Paul wrote more21:48about Jesus's heart in the gospel. And21:50that's why he's he's a gospel preacher,21:52right? And so a lot of people don't know21:54that. And yeah, they all learned from21:56him. John, too, which is crazy. So21:59that's why I give a lot of respect to22:00Paul because he's genuinely a person who22:04didn't even meet Jesus uh in the flesh22:07and was able to teach people who did22:09meet him in the flesh, which is crazy.22:10He's a great teacher. He's amazing. Paul22:13is different in that he persecuted the22:15church because he was perfect. He did so22:17many things correctly. He followed the22:18Sanhedrin. followed the laws to the tea.22:21He didn't play no games. And he had a22:22lot of discipline. And so he was he was22:25really top of the top. And yet because22:28of that, he realized, "Oh my gosh, I I'm22:29the bottom of the bottom. I've been22:30going against God my whole life. I22:33didn't even know that. I thought I was22:34following him." That's his biggest22:36realization. Come to God moment was, "Oh22:38my goodness, I'm not as good as I22:39thought I was." And then he started to22:41really bend and it was beautiful, right?22:44So yeah, that's So yes, they were 100%.22:47And again, prophecy22:50um you know is the prophecy of Jesus22:52Christ. A lot of people don't know what22:54prophecy actually is. They think that22:56it's just you know think that it's just22:58you know but prophecy is predicting23:00Jesus Christ seeing Jesus in all the23:03things and all prophecy in the Bible is23:06actually pointing to Jesus Christ. every23:07single prophecy the prophet prophesied,23:10right? From, you know, the first23:12prophets all the way to Malachi, the23:13last prophet, it's all about Jesus23:16Christ, right? Okay. Um,23:20my other um my mother, sorry, got23:23diagnosed with dementia. Having a real23:24hard time with her being in a nursing23:26home with her being diagnosed dementia.23:28I feel a little burnt now. I'm a father23:30of 8-year-old and have been married. Um,23:33yeah. So, so you know, it's it's not you23:35who has to take on and absorb those23:38responsibilities. Of course, that's your23:39mother, but that's also God's daughter.23:42So, your job is to go to war for her in23:44prayer. Your job is to not become her23:47savior, right? But you have to sit there23:49and you have to think about it, right?23:52Um, you have to really leave her in the23:55hands of God. And what I mean by that is23:57we're we're not good people. Uh, you23:59know, God is going to save her and help24:01her. He's he's the savior, right? That's24:04what it is at the end of the day. So24:06yeah. Uh yeah, my colleague says that24:08all religions have a key to the puzzle24:10of our connection with God. Could this24:12be true or again opinion? I mean, if24:14that's the case, then God is a universal24:16dictator who's cruel. If they all have a24:19puzzle and connect to God in some way,24:22then he doesn't need to kill his son. He24:25could just be like, "Ah, they're24:26Buddhist. They'll eventually come and24:27find me. I don't need to kill Jesus."24:29It's it's a pretty simple like if if we24:31think just a little bit about those24:33types of things, it's pretty pretty easy24:35to come to that conclusion, right guys?24:38He would be a universal cruel person. If24:41every way led to Jesus and led to God24:44and then Jesus number wouldn't say I am24:46the way, meaning only way and no one24:48comes to the father except him. He24:50wouldn't say stuff like that. Number24:51one. Number two, if that was true, he24:55God is literally mutilating his own son.24:58If why would he have to be that extreme?25:01He would just be like I don't need to25:02kill you. It's cool. They're going to25:03come to you anyways. It's all right,25:05right? Like just yeah, go I mean Islam,25:08Allah, you know, they just call me25:09something different. They're going to25:10come to me anyways. Like he wouldn't25:11have to he wouldn't have to sit there25:13and kill his own son. Literally was25:15killing his own son, [snorts] right? And25:16so at the end of the day, it's u if you25:19think about it just a little bit, it's25:21it's very clear. It's like no, there25:22that he has to go through all of that25:24because he is the way. There's no other25:26way except through him. And he had to25:28take the wages of sin, which is death.25:30So everything is actually cohesive to25:32God's plan, right? The way he moves is25:35very clear. It's like, wow, he he's he's25:37very intentional with the things that he25:39does. And it's it's beautiful. It's it's25:42it's proof that he's not joking around25:45that yes, Jesus had to go to shade and25:48gehenna, you know, hell, parts of hell25:50essentially, the land of the dead, if25:52you will. Yes, Jesus had to be25:53crucified. Yes, Jesus was forsaken.25:55That's why he said, "Why hast thou25:56forsaken me?" He wasn't just mad at God.25:59He was like, "Dang, you forsook me,26:01right? I understand." He say cried that26:03out loud so that people could see that26:05he was forsaken genuinely. And so I I I26:10mean he he went through it all. He went26:11through exactly what we were supposed to26:12go through so that we don't have to go26:14through it so that we could be free. And26:16then people disrespect it again by good26:19intentions. Notice how how you guys are26:21you guys noticing a pattern? Everybody26:23does things by good intentions. Well,26:25all of it leads back to God. Like it it26:28shows that God is like loving of all26:30things, right? Everything is good26:31intentions. But if you look if you26:33notice it, it's all BS. It's all pride.26:35It's all ego. It's all this is what I26:37feel and I'm going to use that as truth.26:40You guys clock that, right? It's just26:42what it is, right? Oh, the the the guy26:44says to read NIV, KJV. I mean, he has26:47good intention. He wants you to read26:49true things like good things. What's26:51wrong with that? Well, what's wrong with26:53it is he's making assumptions that he26:55thinks his good is good. But that's26:57exactly what the Pharisees did. The26:58Pharisees told people to keep the law.27:00They weren't telling them to sin however27:02they want. By the way, but those were27:03the same people who crucified Jesus. You27:06you you guys see that, right? You see27:08that, right? God never wanted us to eat27:10from the tree. Why? Cuz he didn't he27:12knew our good and evil would be evil,27:15right? That's why that's why he's like,27:17"Don't eat from that." He didn't want us27:20to know what was good and what was evil.27:21cuz he knew we would turn out like this.27:23Well, it's good in my opinion. Sure. And27:25what's good to Hitler and Jeffrey Dmer27:27is different than what's good to you,27:28too. I'm sure they believe they're good,27:30too. I'm sure these child molesters and27:32rapists believe, well, love is love.27:34What's wrong with that? Like, I'm sure27:35they believe that's good, too. Again,27:38people are twisted. That's just how it27:40is. And we're all interconnected through27:43sin, right? So, it's very difficult when27:46you when you talk to somebody who thinks27:48they're good. Have you guys ever spoke27:50to some when a person thinks they're27:52good, then they think that they're27:53right? Have you noticed that? Right? And27:56it's almost like they're determined to27:58talk about only their righteousness and28:01their good. They don't talk about28:02anything bad. They only talk about good28:04things, [snorts] right? Make sense? Only28:07talk about good things. And so the issue28:10is when they when they say that, right?28:13They're they think that they're good28:15people and you can't say anything to28:18them because their their filter is their28:21good filter. You guys got that right?28:24Their filter is their own filter. So if28:27it makes sense to them, they'll praise28:29you. If it doesn't make sense to them,28:30they'll burn you alive. That's just how28:31it is. That's what's that's the issue28:33with good people, right? Amen. If you28:37love biblical lessons like this, then28:38you would love my weekly Bible class.28:40Bible class brings clarity, community,28:43and consistency. See you guys this29:24Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard29:27Time.29:28>> All right. Why do so many people say ESV29:30is more accurate? At least everyone I've29:31talked to has said that at the church29:33that I'm at. uh because it's a mix of29:37two the two different doctrines right so29:39when you look at the Texas receptus29:41right and you look at the maseretic text29:44which is what the king James version is29:45written as it's the most accurate one it29:48also has it's a blend of maseretic text29:50Texas receptus but also Alexandrian do29:53Alexandrian doctrine codex and codex29:56vaticanist it's a mix of all four and so29:59what happens is they think just like30:01every human thinks well if I get a30:03little bit of this and a little bit of30:04this it's like modding a car. Well, I30:06took a little bit from here. I took a30:07little bit and I put it all together and30:08I took only the good parts. But again,30:10they don't realize it's the human beings30:11that put it together. Right? So, when30:13you think about it, it's not it's not30:15accurate because when you look at ESV30:18and you look at 2 Timothy 2:15, you look30:21at it in the original text and then you30:23look at it in KJV and then you look at30:25it in ESV, it's completely different.30:27KJV is what what the original text says.30:30ESV does not say that. Secondly, in ESV,30:33there's Bible verses that are missing.30:35Straight up missing. They're not there,30:37right? And that's because they don't,30:39you know, they don't they don't think30:41that the early church leaders should30:43have put that in there. That's again30:45what they think. KJV is like, we're30:48going to leave everything in there and30:50we're going to let God decide, right?30:52That's just how it is. So people don't30:54know that, right? They just again, they30:56perpetuate like you said it, right? You30:59leaked it. Everyone at my church is like31:01that. Exactly. Because that's that's the31:03island that that people are. It's an31:04echo chamber. Well, he heard it from31:06this guy and he heard it from that guy31:07and this guy heard it from that guy. And31:08that happens everywhere. That happens31:09even here. You guys know to distrust31:11your thoughts because you learn that31:13here, right? And everybody else here31:14says to distrust your thoughts. So, it's31:16not a bad thing, but like I said, like31:19good things can be perpetuated, but so31:20can bad things. Wrong information can31:23literally lead right to to to lead you31:27there, right? What about the NIV? Same31:28thing. Same thing. missing verses,31:32incorrect text, completely taken out of31:34context in a lot of ways, wrong tenses,31:37completely because of because of those31:39things. So, so whoever tells you, oh,31:41the Bible is the Bible, that's not true.31:44Understand? Because there's different31:45ones. There's a Ethiopian Bible, there's31:46a Apocrypha, there's, you know, the the31:50King James 19 uh 1611, right? All of31:53that, right? Same thing with NLT, too.31:56Yes. Same thing, right? N KJV the same32:00NRSVUEE same all of these things like I32:03said genuinely KJV is the best most32:05accurate one I've done my research you32:07can trust you can bank on that right32:10it's just what it is right I used to32:12also read uh NKJV and and ESB NASB is32:16also CSB everything everything right so32:19just KJV regular KJV is really good um32:22it's just it's just accurate why is KJV32:25the best because I said So,32:28cuz I said so Geneva Bible 2 is wrong,32:33right? I mean, why why do you let's32:35let's let me let me stop it right here.32:37Let's just No, let's just think about32:39it. Why do you think Johnny Chang would32:41tell you guys? Am I endor am I endorsed32:43by Am I like Johnny Wii? Yeah. I'm from32:47London. Yeah. And you need to read King32:49James version. Yeah. Isn't it? It's32:52Tuesday. No, it's Wednesday. Yeah. Ban32:54and Chast, right? It's like do you think32:56like why think just think about it32:58though right [clears throat] why would I33:01say something like that if they don't33:02endorse me people don't they don't none33:05no you guys have to learn just a little33:07bit no disrespect to think like why is33:09Johnny saying this why would he say33:12something like that make a preposterous33:14claim of this right think about it right33:19cuz KJV is paying me sir Jonathan Chang33:21exactly to get a royalty for every book33:24somehow they're going to track what book33:25you buy and what app you download, then33:27give me a royalty 10% 20% for every KJV.33:30Like, come on, y'all. Come on.33:33Respectfully, understand what I'm33:35saying, right? It's it's it's33:37ridiculous,33:39right? But people don't think like they33:41what what you guys are leaking to me is33:43this. I need you to make it make sense33:45to me. Number one, right? I need you to33:48make it make sense to me or you're33:49leaking. I don't care what you're33:50saying. I'm just going to ask you mid33:52mid mid explanation my question, right?33:54You're leaking that too. Um um hurry up33:57and move it on. Right. Understand what33:59I'm saying? Right. Uh the other one is34:02also you're leaking it needs to make34:04sense to me and then I'll believe you.34:07Got it, guys? Right. I you need to make34:10it make sense to me and then I'll34:12believe you. And again, if you guys only34:14follow cuz it makes sense and it makes34:17sense to you and your thinking and your34:19logic, then you're not following God.34:21You're following yourself. and what you34:23think is following God. You guys got34:25that right. That's just what it is. Like34:28genuinely, that's what you're asking me34:30is Johnny, make it make sense to me,34:32right? And then the last thing you're34:33leaking is KJV is hard. Therefore, I34:36don't want to put in the work to read it34:37cuz I don't understand it. And that's34:39okay. That's okay. You're doing that34:42though because you think understanding34:43the word is important when accepting the34:45word is way more important. How can you34:47understand Jesus, an infinite person?34:51You don't. You you accept him. You34:53believe him. That's what you can't34:54understand how he walks on water, bends34:56the molecules to then make it cement so34:58he can walk on it. You can't understand35:00how a person in three days can wash the35:02whole world's sins. Even the people who35:04who are there weren't there before him35:06who are there before him. Understand35:08what I'm saying? Like that's genuinely35:10what it is. So I understand why you guys35:14want it to make sense. But do you35:15realize right then and there right your35:18thoughts are always telling you right35:21that I'm doing this I'm I I need it35:24needs to make sense to me. Make sense35:26guys? So a lot of us here I think the35:28one thing we have that's that's a big35:30problem is we have good intentions and35:32we don't recognize how much that stuff35:35messes with our mind because there's no35:38one that's good. Understand what I'm35:40saying? There's no one that's good. And35:42so we if we think we're good, then35:45absolutely we're going to sit there and35:46we're going to, you know, question and35:48we're going to do all of this stuff,35:50right? Amen. But again, a lot of people,35:55you know, they just want it to make35:57sense. So that's why I said either trust35:59or don't trust, right? You guys got that36:01right? Anyone unclear? And if you don't36:04agree, that's okay. Let me know. I have36:05to go in a little bit, but let me know36:07if you're like, "Nah, I don't. I'm just36:09asking, bro." Right? understand what I'm36:11saying? Make sense, right? And so it's36:16just, you know, it's it's kind of uh36:18important, right? KJV36:21and KJV. Uh, A KJV is the one that's36:25that's the most uh I would say uh uh how36:29do I say most accurate when you guys36:31look at NLT, ESV, NASB, CSB, NIV, they36:37have missing verses like Matthew 17:21,36:40Matthew 18:11, John 5:4. Um, they switch36:44verses as well. they change the complete36:46meanings like 2 Timothy 2:15, Hebrews36:4910:14, they they completely switch it36:51out. And so people don't know that,36:54right? And that's that's what it is,36:57right? And so again, you can do the37:00research if you want to, but personally,37:02I've done it already. Um I don't know if37:05you guys think I'm not qualified to37:06teach or whatever. That's fine and I'm37:08not. But you know, but like I said, KJV37:11is new King James as well. This NASV,37:15NLT, NI, NLT, NIV, NKJV, just the KJV,37:19as I mentioned, multiple multiple37:21multiple, right, times, KJV is number37:24one, right? When you pull up things like37:26uh here, let me look at it real quick.37:28So, even just second Timothy or no, you37:31know what? Let's do Hebrews 4 10:14.37:34That's the easiest one to kind of catch.37:35Not actually, it's not the easiest one,37:37but All right. So let's just I'm just37:40going to paste the differences here. So37:42let's read it carefully here. Right.37:44Right. Okay. All right. So when you look37:46at Hebrews 10:14, right? When you look37:49at KJV, read it with me. For by one37:52offering, he hath perfected forever them37:54that are sanctified. Perfected forever37:57them that are sanctified. Right. Good.37:59And KJV, just the the newer version of38:01the KJV. For by one offering, he has38:02perfected forever those who are being38:04sanctified. Okay. In verse uh 14, I'm38:07sorry, next New International Version,38:09NIV says, "For by one sacrifice he was38:12made, he has made perfect forever those38:13who are being made holy." Um, can I ask38:16you guys what what's the difference38:17here? What's the difference between KJV38:19and the other two? Wording how? Right38:22guys, don't answer me like iPad kids.38:24What what what do you mean? What's38:26what's the actual difference here? One38:28is past tense already perfected. KJV is38:31past tense perfected. The other one38:33inquires works. Good. Sanctification is38:37a process, right? One's a process,38:39right? Think about it. It says right38:41here, right? Read it again. Scroll up a38:43little bit. Them that are sanctified. So38:45are sanctified. The other ones say what?38:47Being sanctified. So which one do you38:49think makes sense, right? Right.38:53[clears throat] It says being38:54sanctified. No, are sanctified. KJV38:58Jesus Christ died for your sins already39:00made you that way. Right. So that little39:03bit right there, it's it's already39:04implying works. It's implying trust your39:07thoughts, what you see. Do you guys see39:09that? That's what it's saying. It's very39:11subtle. Notice that, right? But it's39:14actually very dangerous. Okay? So, let39:16me show you another one. Let me just39:18show you just little little subtle39:19things, but you'll see why it's39:22dangerous39:23um just by, you know, doing this alone.39:27Uh [snorts] let's see here. Watch this.39:30Okay. You know, CSB has things that are39:32removed. Like I said, guys, KJV, KJV,39:36KJV. If you don't want to listen, that's39:38okay. If you want to, you know, read39:40your Bible, it's okay. Read your Bible.39:43But I'm trying to explain to you that39:45the heart underneath it is, I've already39:47read my Bible. I like my Bible. I marked39:49my Bible. Understand? I don't want to39:52move out of it. Then don't move out of39:53it. That's okay, right? But I'm just I'm39:56just telling you guys why it you you39:58probably should. You can do whatever you40:00want with this information. Do you guys40:02understand what I'm saying? I'm not40:04saying like you're all stupid for not40:06reading the right version. If you want40:08NIV because it's easier to read for you,40:10okay, but I'm more not about ease and40:13doing my flesh. I'm I'm more about what40:15what's accurate. I want to read the40:17thing that are that that's accurate. I40:20don't want to read what makes me feel40:21better. Do you guys understand what I'm40:23saying? That's the difference between40:26right people who actually follow God.40:28understand like that. I'm not going to40:31sit here and and do that. Right. Uh the40:33one that's most closest is Raina Valera40:361960, I think. Right. Right. Got it.40:40Okay. So, let's focus one more time on40:42this. Okay. Let's read it carefully. Let40:44me just repaste it for you guys. Just40:46read it with me. Okay. Just read it40:48carefully. Don't don't type. Okay. It40:50says uh 2 Timothy KJV, study to show40:53yourself approved unto God because40:54that's what the Coney Greek says. a40:56workman that needeth not to be ashamed,40:58rightly dividing the word of truth.40:59Good. Study to show yourself approved.41:01Right. 2 Corinthian, I'm sorry, 241:04Timothy 2:15, New King James Version. Be41:06diligent to present yourself approved by41:07God. Wait, one says study. The other one41:09says, be diligent works and present41:11yourself approved to God. Show God that41:13you're approved. Okay, cool. Kind of41:15weird. But in 2 Timothy 2:15 is even41:19crazier, right? in NIV. Do your best to41:21present yourself to God as one approved,41:24a worker who does not need to be ashamed41:26and who correctly handles the word of41:27truth. It's completely changed. So it it41:31changes through the versions. It goes41:32from study to show yourself approved to41:34okay, be diligent. You don't have to41:35study. Just be diligent. Present. Don't41:37study. Don't look in the Bible. And then41:39it goes completely to just do your best.41:41Who cares? Just do your best. You don't41:43have to study. You don't have to read.41:45Even though 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us what41:48what does it say, right? 2 Timothy 3:16,41:52it's very clear about KJV, right? It41:55says, "All scripture is given by41:57inspiration of God and is profitable for41:59doctrine, for reproof, for correction,42:01for instruction. You have to read the42:02doctrine, which is the Bible. All42:04scripture, every scripture, notice how42:05it doesn't say every tradition, every42:07religion, all scripture is inspired by42:10God." Got that right guys? So it goes42:14from study to show yourself approved42:16study to just be diligent. You don't42:18have to study. Present yourself. Okay?42:20And the other one is ah just do your42:22best. Just do your best. It's okay. Like42:25who cares? Like just do your best. All42:27right. Try hard or do better basically42:29which is works based religion guys. Try42:31hard or do better and God will you know42:33he'll see your works and he'll bless you42:35according to that because he knows your42:36heart. It's like no it goes from study42:38to then. And do you understand now why42:40the whole world loves K NIV? Do you know42:44why everyone loves the other stuff?42:47Right? Is because to them and and you42:49realize how most of you guys here42:51respectfully if I ask you how many times42:52have you read the Bible, you you can't42:54say even one time front to back, right?42:56Because you're you were taught this NIV42:59style. Oh, just do your best. You know,43:01you don't know. But God knows your43:02heart. Understand what I'm saying? Make43:05sense, brothers and sisters? Right? So43:07that's just what it is. understand. No,43:09you need salvation. SV low7 says, right?43:12Hebrews 10:26 is not for you. Don't43:14worry, right? That's just what it is.43:16It's not about understanding it. Amen.43:19Genuinely, I'm just being honest here,43:21right? Two. And I number one, I don't43:22have time for that cuz it's a whole43:24lesson. Number two, you have to realize43:26that it's not it's not for you. So,43:28yeah, don't try to understand things,43:30guys. If you read the Bible and it43:32scares you, it's because you're works43:33based. That's it. It it doesn't mean43:36that you're truly saved. So I would if43:37you if you can look at it, watch the43:39salvation video. Thank you, Danny. Right43:41on point. So watch the salvation video.43:44If you read the Bible and you get scared43:46about something, it proves to me that43:48your workspace cuz now why do you get43:50scared? Why do you get scared? Because43:53you think you cuz you can't do it right.43:55I know the scripture. Hebrews 10:26, for43:58if we sin willfully, right, after44:01receiving the knowledge of truth44:02verbatim, there remainth no sacrifice44:03for sins. Hebrews 10:30 says, right, how44:06much more so those who he counted as44:09righteous, sanctified, and they step on44:11the blood, right? It talks about it. So44:14again, we know the scripture here, but44:16the issue is people read that scripture44:18and get scared. I read the scripture and44:21go, "Wow, it's so amazing. It confirms44:23the gospel." But because you guys don't44:25know it, right? And I'm I'm I'm not44:27saying it's a bad thing. I'm just saying44:29you have to you have to trust sometimes.44:31Do you guys understand what I'm saying?44:33You have to trust that if I say that's44:35not what it is. You can't sit there and44:38you not being studied go well I need to44:41know. No then go and study study the44:43context. It's pretty simple right? If44:45you guys want to know Hebrews 10:26 you44:48just have to go to Hebrews chapter 9 and44:50read it till 10 till till the end. And44:52it tells us that we believe until the44:54saving of the souls. We don't draw back.44:56It literally gives you the answers. But44:58if you don't read it and you just want45:00people to tell you what it is, then it45:02becomes a problem. Do you guys45:03understand what I'm saying? I don't want45:04to encourage spiritual laziness on top45:06of that, too. I don't want to be like,45:08"Oh, I can just go to Johnny for45:09everything." No, you should go to God.45:11You should pray to God and go, he Johnny45:13equipped me with reading the Bible. He45:15gave me the right Bible. And I mean, he45:18can't do everything for me. He has to45:20sit there and be like, "Okay, God, this45:22is like this is how I have to do it.45:24Now, give me the scripture." Because the45:25same God that helped Johnny unlock these45:26things is the same God that's your God.45:29How come he can't help you? Understand45:31what I'm saying, right guys? If you have45:33the heart posture to go, I need45:35everything to be explained to me, then45:37it's very dangerous. Even if you do it45:40subtly, well, I just want some45:41understanding. It's just dangerous,45:42guys. You guys understand what I'm45:44saying? I I care about you. Cuz look, if45:47I'm really evil genuinely, I'll just big45:49up your head. Literally, I'll give you45:52all the knowledge and you'll have no45:53surrender. understand you will literally45:56fall. You will you will have zero45:58disciples. It's already happened in a46:00lot of you guys where you guys are46:01smart. Some of you guys are smart. You46:02don't say anything. So, I can't correct46:04you and all you do is take notes and46:06notes and notes about what I say.46:09Understand what I'm saying? Make sense?46:11Yeah. A wall is blocking you because46:13there's a heart to be arrogant, right?46:15You want to comprehend why though, to46:17big up yourself. You think God's going46:19to let you do that? No way. He wants46:21surrender, which is the message that I'm46:23saying. He's not giving you guys the46:25unlocks for a reason. Hello. He knows46:27that if he gives it to you, you're going46:28to feel good about yourself. He knows46:30that if he gives it to you that you're46:31become phericical and he'll lose you. He46:34knows that this knowledge is a great46:36responsibility.46:38It's you. You It's very responsible. But46:41you guys don't have that heart yet.46:42Respectfully, do you know what the heart46:44you have? I want to know so I could feel46:46better and I can grasp God and I can46:48understand God. But the foundation is46:50still you wanting to understand. you46:52wanting to feel validated, you wanting46:54to know the message accurately so that46:55you don't get tricked. It's all for you.46:58And so that's why he doesn't he's not47:00going to give it to you. He'd be stupid47:02to give it to us. A a kid is like, I47:05want to run around with a knife. Oh47:06yeah, go ahead. Like no one would do47:08that. They would be like, no, I'm not47:09giving it. Why? Why? I need to cut my47:11things. I need to cut the sausage. I47:13need to do this. Like, no, you can't get47:15the knife. No, mommy, give it to me.47:17Like, do you understand what I'm saying?47:19like there he's not going to we would47:22never give a knife to a kid because they47:23can't handle it. All this information47:26with a crooked heart. Do you know who47:27you turn into? I've harped on this.47:29Satan. Satan knew everything. Had zero47:32surrender. Guess what happened to him?47:34He went against God. Pharisee, Sody,47:37scribe, wrote parts of the Bible,47:39recorded parts of the Bible, passed it47:40down by tradition. How how did they end47:42up killing Jesus? Understand? It's not.47:46You guys are are again there's so much47:49levels to this where we don't even47:51realize. We're asking God to curse us47:54with knowledge. Understand what I'm47:56saying? We're asking him to literally47:57curse us. I just want to know what the47:59hell is wrong with I wanting to know.48:01And then what happens is when you know,48:02you feel better than you make everybody48:04else feel less than. Right? And then48:06what happens is you don't tie it back to48:08Jesus. It's more for you. The reason why48:11you want to know about Hebrews 10:26 is48:13because you're you're moving out of48:14fear. That's why you think you're48:17sinning willfully and you think because48:19that's what it means. You might lose48:21your salvation. Again, who is that for?48:23Nobody else. It's for you. Understand?48:25That's why people ask about things like48:27that. You guys got that? When someone48:30goes, "Hey, if someone commits suicide48:33and they go to hell, right? Will they48:35will are they are they going to go to48:37hell if they commit suicide?" That's for48:39you because you had a friend or a family48:40member do that and you want them to be48:42in heaven, not understanding that God48:45wants them to be in heaven, too. And48:47then you're just asking in a in a polite48:49way, but the heart is telling me, I48:51don't care if they commit suicide. I48:53want them to get to heaven. But who48:55wants to get to heaven them to heaven48:57more than you? God does. But you, we48:59disregard all of that. Do you guys49:01understand? It's very selfish at the49:02core. When you recognize that you're49:04selfish, then you start to listen. Then49:07you start to go, I can't do anything,49:09guys. It's It's not hard. Like, I I'm49:12I'm a gang member. I don't I have a GED49:15education.49:17You guys have all read the Bible, too.49:20The The reason the only reason why I get49:22unlocks is different than you guys is49:24because I know in my heart clearly that49:26I don't care about anything but myself.49:28I don't try to rationalize it. I don't49:30try to be like, "Yeah, I'm so humble." I49:32know I'm not good. I think that's the49:36struggle that you guys have. You let me49:38check you one time, you're going to feel49:39some type of way. I check you one time.49:43Don't do that, guys. You're Oh, I'm just49:44asking a question. Immediately, the49:46heart comes defensive because you're49:48good. That's the difference here. You49:50could never You guys would never survive49:52Pastor Kim. Respectfully, you would49:54never survive Paul. You would never49:55survive any of these people who will49:57come and check you because you're too49:59soft. Respectfully, do you understand50:01what I'm saying? You would you would if50:03he told you, "You guys are foolish. You50:04guys are idiots. He's called people50:06idiots. He's called people dogs. I50:07haven't even called you guys idiots. I50:09haven't even said you guys are dogs. All50:11I'm saying is, hey guys, let's just know50:13that we're not good so that you can50:15actually be good and learn. That's all50:17I'm saying. You Some people can't even50:19handle that. Understand? Because we50:22we've been so spoiled. We don't have50:24people killing us. We don't have people50:26running against us, crucifying us upside50:28down, shooting arrows at us because50:30we're preaching the gospel. I guarantee50:31you if you guys were getting persecuted50:33like them back in the day, right? Cuz50:35I've been to prison, I'm pretty sure I50:37would stand 10 toes. Most of you guys,50:39if they took away your families and they50:41persecuted you like Paul did back in the50:43day before when he was Saul, you guys50:44would give up on God 100%. You know how50:47I know? Because you're giving up on him50:49now and you're not even being50:50persecuted. If he turns up the heat,50:52it's over for you guys. Do you50:54understand what I'm saying? That's why50:55God is so graceful. He's so amazing,50:59right, guys? Depression, anxiety,51:01loneliness, all that is a luxury. Stop51:03playing, right? Those are first world51:05problems. It's just the truth, right? We51:08got to go out there, touch some grass,51:10and be like, you know what? I don't know51:12anything. I need to humble down. I'm51:13asking these questions, and I don't even51:15know what the base of it is. It's just51:17for me to know more so I can feel better51:19about myself. Everything, every one of51:22your guys' spiritual lives is, I want to51:24feel better about myself. I want to do51:26things for me. I need to better myself.51:28I need to read the Bible more so I feel51:29closer to God cuz if I feel away from51:31God I feel sad, right? I need my friends51:34and family to be saved cuz I want them51:35to go to heaven with me and I know you51:38care about them and they're your family51:39but I want them more than you God. So51:40you know honestly you need to do it and51:42if you don't I'm going to question why.51:44So I hate my mom cuz like she's not51:45listening to me and like I'm just trying51:47to tell her the truth. Why isn't she51:48listening to me? Like all of it is51:50focused on you though at the end of the51:52day. I want to quote scripture so that I51:55can look badass so I can look to people51:57and go, "Wow, this person knows what the51:59hell they're talking about. Wow, you're52:00so surrendered. Wow, you know this." I52:02want to read the correct Bible version,52:04right? Because it makes me realize that52:06I'm better than people and I know the52:08truth and I want to feel that way. I52:09want to parade that around. That's52:11everybody's heart. I want to help other52:13people because I care about them. I want52:15to send hugging emojis to people who are52:17even hella self-centered because I want52:19to show them I'm not like Johnny. I'm a52:21good person. See, I care about people.52:23And they said sorry. So they're sorry52:25means it's true, right? Like y'all y'all52:28all it is is for me. That's what it is.52:31Every single thing is me me I I I. And52:34then you wonder why you're isolated. And52:36you wonder why Jesus Christ when he52:38works in your life, it ain't it ain't52:40helping you. Do you guys understand what52:42I'm saying? Right? This is this is52:44something that we have to humble from.52:45It again isn't chastisement.52:47Chastisement is crazy. It's way52:49different than this. Chastisement is you52:52guys are horrible. Everybody leave. You52:54call yourself a Christian, you're not a52:56Christian. Understand what I'm saying?52:58You don't even believe. You waver at52:59every single thing. You take mountains53:02and mountains of notes and yet you don't53:04have you don't know how to apply even53:06the most basic thing which is right53:08accepting the gospel and focusing on the53:11gospel. You have to hear the same53:12message over 50 times for you to even53:15understand 1% of what's being said.53:18Right? That's chastisement. basically53:19calling you stupid, right? But I'm not53:21saying that about you guys. I'm just53:23saying if you only think about yourself,53:26then you're only going to be alone.53:28That's just what it is, brothers and53:30sisters. If you only think about you,53:32and God calls us to think about other53:34people and seek his kingdom, his53:35righteousness, and you're only seeking53:37your own self, guess what's going to53:38happen to you? You're going to be by53:40yourself. You're going to live happy,53:41sad. You're going to fall into your53:43temptations because you're the judge. So53:45when you feel like lust is good, you're53:47going to do it. When you feel like53:48having a drink here and there is good,53:49you're going to do it. When you feel53:50like you want to smoke weed, you're53:52going to smoke it because you're the one53:53who only cares about you. And you, God53:55forbid, you break yourself, you're not53:57going to go against yourself. It's too53:59painful. So then you mess up again. When54:01you feel sensitive, you rather make54:02everybody else wrong, including Johnny54:04Chang, than to own up to it and go, you54:06know what? I'm wrong. Do you guys54:08understand? Make sense, guys? And people54:10can't hear this message. Understand what54:12I'm saying, guys? And I can't wait to share it55:01with you guys. Chastising is telling you55:03guys that you're nothing and that Jesus55:05is everything. That's good chastisement.55:07Wrong chastisement is I'm better than55:09you. I'm better than you. You need to55:10get like me. That's different. True55:13chastisement is, hey, you're nothing.55:14Let God be everything. It humbles you55:17down, but to the point where you can55:19come back to God. Do you understand what55:21I'm saying? Right? I'm I'm telling you55:22guys this so that you can grow. I'm not55:24saying this to go, you're stupid and55:26you're it's I never said you guys are55:27going to end up like that. You're going55:28to stay like this. I'm saying if you do55:30this, the end possibility is you being55:32by yourself. But you don't have to stay55:34like that. You can listen and go, "Oh my55:37gosh, that's me. I'm this person right55:40now where everything, all my prayers are55:42fix it prayers. Fix this, fix that, give55:44me this, give me that. Oh my gosh,55:46Johnny's right. I never say thank you,55:48God. I never sit there and think about55:50God helping me. I never trust in him cuz55:53when something happens, anxiety,55:54depression, loneliness immediately,55:57gosh, that's so true. I don't even trust55:59him and I expect him to help me do56:01things. No, I should trust him. Do you56:04understand what I'm saying? That's what56:05it comes. That's what you have to come56:06to the conclusion, Chris. I really don't56:08trust God. Amen. And this is how you56:11love him after. When you reach that56:13position of, oh my gosh, I don't really56:14trust him. Do you know what comes to56:16you? And yet he died for you. And yet56:20you're like this, selfish, and he loves56:23you. If that doesn't change you, you're56:25not human. Respectfully, you're just56:27hardened, different ages. Understand?56:30You guys got that? If you sit there and56:32you go, "Oh my goodness, I'm this56:34selfish. All I've ever done was care and56:36and ask everything conditionally and56:39everything was teach me, teach me, teach56:41me so I can feel better. And yet God56:43didn't. He threw away his only son who56:45did nothing wrong, Jesus, and then chose56:47me above Jesus. That love changes you.56:51It goes, "Oh my God, I don't even56:54deserve this." And yet, honestly, you56:58chose me, man. I don't understand you,57:02God. Just step away from me. I don't I57:04can't even fathom. I can't even believe57:06that. I I I'm I'm nothing. But but most57:10people's energy is and they don't even57:11realize it. Well, yeah, I'm I'm just57:13asking a question. And honestly, I'm a57:14good person. Like, what's wrong with57:16that? What's wrong with with me, you57:18know, sitting here and getting to know57:19God more? Understand? Getting to know57:21God more? If you wanted to get to know57:23God, you wouldn't ask the question. You57:24would know God. You don't have to get to57:26know God. You would know him if you love57:27him. The the fact that you're trying,57:30for example, I'm trying to come to57:31Korea. I'm trying to go to Arizona, but57:34I'm in LA. Does that mean I'm in Arizona57:36and Korea? No. I'm trying doesn't mean57:38anything. Doing is something different.57:41Right? But again, we even pacify that,57:44too. Well, as long as I try, right?57:46[snorts] NIV 2 Timothy 2:15 energy. Just57:50try your best. The Bible doesn't say try57:53your best. The Bible says even if you57:56tried your best, it's the worst thing to57:58me. It's filthy rags. That's why I sent58:00the best, Jesus Christ, to die for you.58:02Do you understand how much I love you?58:04You're team you, Johnny Chang, and I'm58:06team you, too. Do you understand what58:08I'm saying? You're team you, and I'm58:11team you. You just don't realize I have58:13been team you. And it took me a few58:15years to recognize that about myself. Oh58:17my god. All I ever care about is myself,58:20respectfully. I don't even when my58:23prayers are all about myself.58:25Understand? And I can't even follow you,58:27God. And yet you don't strike me down.58:29You still give me food. You still give58:31me life. You still give me everything.58:33You give me fame. You give me fortune.58:35And you give it all to me. Bro, I'm What58:37the hell is wrong with me? How can I not58:39love you? I'm seriously toast. But58:42because of that, God blesses. That's58:44exactly the heart he wants is to go. You58:47get it now, right? Good. You know that58:49you don't have anything good. That means58:50anything good that comes your way is not58:52from you. It's from me. You had that58:54unlock, right? It's not because of you,58:56Johnny. It's cuz of me. Remember that58:58right there. I'm able to be humble. I59:00can talk in front of 5,000 people. We're59:02going to do a stadium with 30,000 people59:03soon. I'm not sitting here going, "Yeah,59:05look at me. I'm amazing. I got that."59:07What I realized is, "Oh my gosh, how59:09could I get that? I got that. No way.59:12God, that's you. They hit me up. They59:14reached out to me. They interviewed me."59:16And then they said, "You know what? This59:17is amazing. We want you to be there."59:19Understand? It's How can I do that? It's59:21all you. Understand what I'm saying? And59:24that's all I'm trying to teach you guys.59:26But if you can't hear this message, then59:28number one, you're sensitive. Number59:29one, you're immature. That's it.59:31Spiritually speaking, right? You're59:33sensitive. And spiritually speaking,59:34you're immature. You're not going to59:36understand that when I'm just telling59:38you guys, hey, this is good. You guys59:40got that? Amen. And I'm passionate about59:42this cuz I don't want you guys to walk59:44through life going, "Wow, I learned59:46about this, but I don't know anything59:47about surrender." All I want to know is59:49me, me, me, I I I. Trust me, guys. When59:52you level up and you start to see that59:54most people are me me I I I you'll59:56understand the frustration I deal with59:58too where it's like dude I have the1:00:00antidote. This is what it is. God taught1:00:02it to me. I'll give it to you. And1:00:04you're like nah I don't like shots.1:00:06Thank you. Can you just put some rubbing1:00:08alcohol on me and and I'll be okay,1:00:10right? No, but you have cancer inside of1:00:11you. No, I don't like needles. No, thank1:00:13you. I'm okay. Anesthesia is really bad.1:00:15If I if I go to sleep, I might never1:00:17wake up. I'm okay. Thank you, though.1:00:18So, you rather let the cancer grow1:00:20inside of you? Yes, I do. Actually,1:00:21there is no cancer. I feel fine. I feel1:00:23fine. Why? You said I have cancer. How1:00:25do I know that? Like, it becomes this.1:00:27Do you understand what I'm saying? It is1:00:28pathetic. Make sense? We have to realize1:00:31that. Oh my gosh. We're people who just1:00:33It's bad. And it sucks because new1:00:35people who come in here, you guys don't1:00:37think about new people. They don't want1:00:39to come in here hearing this message,1:00:41they're not even ready for this message,1:00:42respectfully,1:00:44right? But all you guys care about is,1:00:46"Oh, me, me, me. Answer my question. Do1:00:48this. Do that." Make sense, guys?1:00:51Like they're going to come in here and1:00:52they're going to hear what the heck he1:00:54said. That's pathetic. Oh my gosh,1:00:55Johnny. Dude, what the hell, man? Do you1:00:58understand what I'm saying? They don't1:00:59they don't even see the the other side1:01:01of what's going on based off of one1:01:03question, right? So, I've been a little1:01:05bit in a dilemma. I'll be honest. I kind1:01:08of just want to ignore the people who1:01:11have that heart posture, right? Because1:01:14it ruins a lot of other people's heart1:01:16postures. That's number one, right? I1:01:18could just ignore it. and you just won't1:01:20have your question answered and you'll1:01:22know, okay, my question isn't answered1:01:24genuinely. It's probably because I'm1:01:26asking from the wrong position. There's1:01:28that. But I also don't want to do that1:01:31because then you might feel neglected1:01:32and you might feel you might spiral,1:01:35right? There's that. But then I also1:01:37can't address it too much because if I1:01:39address it then other people are going1:01:41to come in here and get mis and1:01:42misunderstand it and go, "What the hell?1:01:44Dude's way different on mainstage than1:01:46he is on live." Like what the freak? And1:01:49then on podcast, he's so calm. Like,1:01:51bro, this guy's fake. Like, what the1:01:53hell? This is what happens. You guys1:01:55don't even realize. You don't even think1:01:58like that. You just think of it as I1:02:00want you to answer my question. Thank1:02:01you. Understand? Thank you. Answer my1:02:04question. Thanks. Got it. Okay. I gotta1:02:06go, guys. I have a podcast that I got to1:02:08go and shoot at. Okay. All right. See1:02:10you guys later. Take care. Yes. Yes,1:02:12Zach. Amen. All righty. Bye, guys.
