How can I react or what can0:19I do?0:20>> Yeah, I'm sorry to hear that, man. Um,0:22that's obviously tough. Anybody who gets0:25cancer, some kind of illness, or some0:27kind of like great bodily injury,0:29those things are very difficult, and I0:31understand that you can sit there and0:32question God in your mind, even if it0:34doesn't want to, if you don't want to,0:36can go different places and different0:38rabbit holes, right? So, number one,0:40that's normal, okay? To receive some0:42news like that is normal. But what we0:45can do is honestly see the most positive0:48outcome of it, which is it's stage one,0:50meaning it's it's they caught it early,0:53right? It would be a lot different if it0:54was like stage three or four versus0:56stage one, right? So, that's a good0:58thing.0:59Um, and I also believe in the Bible1:01where it says this sickness in John is1:03not to death, but to the glory of God. I1:07also believe in Romans 8:28, which says1:09all things work for their greater good1:11to those who love God. So, God is going1:13to use this type of stuff,1:16whether we see it or not,1:18whether we see his plan or not, uh, we1:21know that he's going to use it, right?1:23There are some of us in here with1:24cancer, who've defeated cancer. There's1:26people in here who've have different1:28type of illnesses, whether it's um,1:31something mild to something severe.1:33Um,1:34it's it's never the cancer or the1:36situation that's the issue, it's always1:38the heart posture while going through1:40that struggle and trial that's the1:42issue, right? So, I would say that, uh,1:45the way that you can react or handle to1:48it is allow your body and your emotions1:50to process because that's normal. You1:52love your father. But don't just stay1:54there. Think about the other side where1:56it's like, "Well, that's not my father.1:58That's also God's child." And God is2:02very meticulous. He will use things2:05and bring it all back together in his2:07timing and in in in for his glory2:10because the Bible says so. He promised2:12this, right?2:13Um and yeah, it's it's it's again2:17absolutely okay2:19and normal to feel like frustrated with2:21God or2:23um2:24you know, kind of2:26confused about it or lost about it or2:29even peaceful about it. Some people are2:30peaceful like, "Okay, this is a time2:32where God will work." I think for your2:35sanity and for your spirituality,2:38uh you can see it from a position2:40biblically, spiritually because in this2:43way, it allows you to kind of unlock2:46true faith with him.2:47Uh don't look at it as an opportunity of2:50like tragedy, but an opportunity to2:53reflect and turn back to God and lean on2:55God for these types of things, which2:57even if you don't want it to, even if2:59you fell miserably to lean back on him,3:02it is always a lesson or a blessing3:04through all of these things. It just is.3:06It just is, right?3:08So, yeah, I think um once you recognize3:10that, then it's it's it's you see things3:12from a different perspective.3:14Um one thing that's like focus on the3:16undeniables3:18is what I would say. And this is for3:19anybody who's going through anything3:21tragic, right? Focus on the undeniables.3:24What I mean by that is, what is3:26undeniable by God?3:28So, does God love you? Undeniably,3:30undoubtedly so. Yes.3:32Um does God care for you? 100%. Does he3:35love your father? Yes.3:37Um does he does he want peace and does3:40he want to heal and can he heal? All3:43three? Yes.3:44Uh does he want a future for you? Yes,3:47because of Jeremiah 29:11. Yes. Can God3:50actually change this for the greater3:52good? Yes. So, all of these are under no3:55Is Is cancer a problem for God? No, it3:57is not. So, that means can he heal the3:59cancer if he wants to in his timing?4:02Absolutely. So, these are things that4:04you have to be able to the undeniable,4:06right? It's undeniable. Is God good?4:08Yes. Is he fair? Yes. Is he a healer?4:11Yes. Is he a reconciler? Yes. Like, do4:13you understand the process?4:15Th- This because what's going to flood4:17people's minds, whether it's your4:19situation one or other people's4:22situation, is always God is not good. He4:24sucks. Why is he allowing this to4:25happen? How can he do this? He's unfair.4:27Did I mess up? Did I do this? Did I do4:29Anything to condemn you, anything to4:30accuse you, right? You have to then4:33fight back with, "Okay, but what are the4:35things he is?" I get what I'm saying and4:37I understand my arguments. I understand4:38my feelings. But, what is it that he4:41actually is? Is he evil? No, he's not.4:43Is he good? Yes, he is.4:45Right? And when you start to do this,4:48what takes over your mind is now deep4:50thinking versus overthinking,4:52right? Point blank period.4:54My Muslim friend finally started asking4:56about Jesus after praying for her for so4:57long. Good. I never pushed it to her,4:59but the first time ever she asked me,5:01"Johnny, please, how do you approach the5:02situation in preaching to her the5:04message?" Yeah, just talk about Jesus uh5:07and what he did for you,5:08right? It's really amazing that they're5:10asking for that. That's That's kind of5:11very difficult. So, you're you're It's5:13your right to want to be delicate about5:16the situation. And that's exactly why I5:18think it's going to be uh productive.5:21If you sit there and you just try to5:22push it onto people, as you know, it's5:24not going to work, right? We've all done5:25that.5:26Talk about how Jesus helped you.5:29And if she asks direct questions, and if5:31you can't answer them, answer them.5:34But, don't answer in a way where it's5:36like fake.5:38If you don't know something, just be5:39like, "I don't know."5:40That That generates a lot of respect for5:43you.5:44And um it allows them to kind of uh5:48recognize that okay, they're at least5:50real about it. There's nothing fake5:52because people have a BS radar.5:55They understand when somebody's trying5:57to coerce them or influence them in a6:01way that6:03is just not real. And you also want your6:06friend to actually come to Jesus with a6:08pure6:10with a genuine heart. But a lot of6:14people tend to rush that process, right?6:16So this is why patience is so important6:18in our lives because6:20it's not that God doesn't give us6:22opportunities. We just don't have the6:24heart to wait for them.6:26Right? That's just kind of how it is.6:28What do you think of the names like6:30Yeshua and Yahawashi?6:31Yeah, I mean it's it's it can work out.6:34I think it's just better to stick with6:35Yeshua. But you know, I I could see why6:38there's names like that for him. And6:40that's okay.6:42More than focusing on the name, focusing6:45on what the man with the name did is6:47probably the most important thing,6:49right?6:50Hello brother pastor answers what I'm6:52going through through the word. Does6:54that mean I don't have to fellowship6:56anymore? Is this the right heart? No, I6:57think you should at least let them know,6:59"Hey, you know, I wanted to fellowship7:01with you about X, Y, and Z, but your7:03thing answered me." Like at least let7:04them know. That would be really, really7:06good. Okay? I distract myself from the7:10circumstances by staying busy in the7:11church. I find it difficult to share my7:12old past because I I answer my own7:14questions. When I share this, I was told7:16to not focus on the situation. Missed7:17the heart of God. I think I filter7:19heavily what I say to pastor to protect7:21myself. Right. So that's again also a7:24very normal thing.7:26Most of you guys7:27we are we are strangers here. Like you7:29guys know me7:31because I I I talk a lot. I go on main7:34stage, but you guys only see that7:36aspect, right? And so7:38there's a natural human inclination to7:41want to just be normal in front of7:44people, to look like we don't really7:46have issues, or if we have issues, not7:48that big of issues.7:51Right? And so,7:52it it's it's To this, I would say,7:55Chris, think of the man with the7:56withered hand.7:57Uh in the Bible, there was a man who had7:59a withered hand, and in front of the8:00synagogue, Jesus at which is means in8:03front of a a large crowd of very highly8:06respected spiritual leaders and8:08individuals, he had to8:11um expose himself.8:13Right? He had to show his nasty, stinky,8:15dirty, filthy, rotten hand so that God8:19can heal it in front of people.8:21Right? And so, so8:24when you think about this, like8:26a lot of us, we we we might want to show8:28a pinky. Right?8:30And and that's normal because we don't8:32want to look like, "Dang, I don't8:34listen. Dang, it's been however long."8:37Right? Now, now you think about it just8:40from my my end, right? Um a person who's8:43built on just reputation, um a person8:47who cannot show any weakness, these are8:49things that are ingrained in my my soul,8:51right?8:52And8:54how hard would it be then for me to go8:56and and speak to pastor and have8:57fellowship? Uh it it's very difficult,9:00uh especially early on.9:02But what I had to learn9:03was that I'm not speaking to pastor, I'm9:06speaking to God. That's what I had to9:08believe by faith. Which is difficult9:10because when you look at the pastor,9:12he's just a man.9:13But what he's saying is, "Don't miss the9:16the situation Don't focus on the9:17situation and miss the heart of God."9:19What he's saying is he has the heart of9:21God.9:22So when I go in front of Pastor Kim, I9:24don't go in front of Pastor Kim on no9:26idol worship level, like that's Pastor9:28Kim, but I also don't go to him like9:30that's physically God. But what I do is9:32God will speak through the servants9:34because he's always done this. Amos9:36chapter 3 verse 7.9:38All of Moses, all of Samuel, all of9:40Nathan, all of these people. Right? So,9:43they're human beings, of course, but9:45they have divine revelations from God,9:47100%. Like I am with you guys, they are9:50like that with me.9:52Secondly, if you think about it from my9:53side, too, I'm very studied.9:56Um honestly, more so studied than a lot9:58of these pastors, for sure. Right? Even10:01at our church, genuinely. I know like10:04very, very depth uh you know, deep10:06things, as you guys know. So, then how10:08would I have fellowship then?10:10Right? When I go to pastor, how do I10:11have fellowship? Do you know what heart10:13I have?10:14The heart that I have is my filter is10:16broken.10:17And it doesn't matter how much I know,10:20I can hear from another person, and10:22it'll be different. Right? So,10:25what you guys maybe will discover in10:27your spiritual walk is this, is that10:29over time,10:31you need more repetition than anything.10:34You need more consistency than anything.10:37Right? Because, look, you guys know all10:40the sermons that I teach. You could10:41probably understand Samson the way I've10:44spoken so much about it. You can10:46understand Genesis the way I've spoken10:48about it and Cain and his offering. You10:50can understand how to even preach when I10:52start with Genesis 6:5 and then Romans10:545:12 and then hop to Jeremiah 17:9 and10:57then go to Hebrews 10:9 and 11 and 9 to11:0011 and then and then from there go to11:01Hebrews 10:14 and Romans 3:19 or 3 like11:05you can probably clock that. But, I11:07guarantee you, when you go out and try11:08and do it, it's different.11:11And this is proof that we need constant11:14understanding and, you know, uh11:16revelation and kind of revisiting, if11:19you will, and recalling of the gospel.11:21Because, it's something that's really11:23tricky.11:25It's it's like you understand it, but11:27you you cannot replicate it. You cannot11:30preach it out the same way, to the same11:32standard, to the same T, right? And so,11:35it this is why you have to continuously,11:38in the same way, spiritual life, you11:40have to listen constantly to the same11:42thing. So, Chris, a lot of the times11:44there's that I know heart, right? I know11:45that this is going to happen. I know11:47that this is what God wants. I know I11:49know I know. Of course.11:51Of course.11:52And that's not a bad thing. But, when11:54you go to a pastor, what I've learned is11:56even if I know, I want to hear what11:58pastor has to say.12:00And it's so cool because12:02he could say the same thing,12:04and it's what's different is my heart12:06that I don't know is different.12:09And just those words, like probably is12:12unlocking for you guys right now,12:14is is is, you know, it hits different12:17when your heart is12:18not recognizing that it's high, and then12:21he talks about something that's12:22high-hearted, which then hits you12:24different, and you're like, "Yo, I've12:25heard this before, but it's different12:28today."12:29And so, that's why you you you we have12:31to learn to kind of feather the brake a12:34little bit, meaning like we don't we12:37don't have to,12:38you know, try our best to listen, but we12:40have to understand that we don't really12:41know, and even if we've heard this12:43before, what's wrong with hearing it12:45again?12:46And if you have this type of heart, then12:48you won't filter.12:50Many times Pastor John will speak to me,12:52and I know exactly what he's saying. I I12:54will finish the scriptures that he12:56quotes,12:57right? But, I don't finish it I don't13:00finish it in person. I finish it in my13:02brain, sure, but I go, "Okay, what is he13:05saying? I know he's trying he's going to13:06say this." But, I can still listen even13:08if I know.13:10And it's always something that's an13:11unlock. Even though I knew it, it's it's13:13a new renewal of the heart. And what you13:16guys don't know is that even these main13:18stages may not seem like a lot, or even13:20the lives may seem repetitive, but what13:23it's doing it's is solidifying, kind of13:25like when you draw a line in the sand,13:28you know, and the the water washes it13:30away the first line, but if you do it13:32more more enough, it becomes a trench13:34and it starts to hold the water for you.13:37In the same way,13:39spiritually with the word,13:41I'm drawing these lines inside of your13:43your guys's hearts with you you guys not13:45even realizing it.13:47So so, you know, it's not to say you13:49A lot of people mistaken that and go,13:51"Oh, I leveled up. I'm listening."13:54Right? The one thing about core I was13:56talking to Pastor John about this was he13:59asked me, you know, is there any people14:00that are returning and coming back, you14:02know? There is a couple brothers that14:04would always come in here. I don't see14:05them anymore. There's a couple sisters14:07that would always come in here. I don't14:08see them anymore.14:10Right? And and what it is is he14:12explained this dopamine type of thing.14:16Right? Where he's like14:18they they they they understand and they14:20they're here for like the dopamine14:22aspect and it's just they think like, I14:25know what I know now. I'm good now.14:28He says, you know, those people14:30like they're very it's difficult to14:32reach them.14:34Understand what I'm saying? Because what14:36happens is14:37they they have the heart of like, I get14:39it. And but when you look at their14:41spiritual life, they are not they don't14:42have any spiritual life.14:44And when I thought about that, I look I14:46thought about the sisters and the14:47brothers that would come in here and I14:48go and I look at them now and I'm like,14:50they don't have any spiritual life.14:52Just because you're going to church,14:54just because you're you know, under the14:56certain guide of you know, the servant,14:58it doesn't mean that you have spiritual15:00life.15:01Right? Most people don't understand what15:03spiritual life is.15:05Understand what I'm saying?15:07Spiritual life is not just going to15:09church and saying I'm righteous,15:11perfected, holy, and justified.15:13That's not what spiritual life is.15:15Spiritual life is surrendering to the15:18gospel daily.15:20Spiritual life is not something you can15:21gain, something you let go, right? And15:24so, you have to sit there and you have15:26to15:26you have to let go of yourself.15:29Every day you have to let go of15:30yourself. Well, if you're only coming to15:32the main stages, if you're only coming15:34to church, if you're only doing that15:36for yourself,15:38then that's not letting go, is it,15:40right? If you guys think about it. Amen.15:43Right? And so, so I think what what it15:46comes down to at the end of the day is15:49not that it's wrong to15:52only come to church when you need15:53something, but if you're really, really15:56smart, you have to hear the word every15:58day. Do you understand what I'm saying?16:00You have to hear these things every16:02single day. Even if it's the same stuff.16:04You have to.16:06Right? But the issue is16:09a a lot of people16:11their their mindset is, you know,16:15it's just for me. Do Do you guys16:17understand what I'm saying? Most of us16:18here are guilty for this. I'm going to16:20go to the church that Johnny sent me to16:23because it's it's for me. Like, I want16:26to be better. I want to learn. So, I had16:29seen it, you know, even with the CLF, we16:31had a CLF thing, and they speak about16:33the Tabernacle.16:34And you'll see where people16:37where they leak, you know? The16:38Tabernacle is such an amazing series. I16:40can teach it very deeply. Every16:43intricate detail from the lampstand to16:45the door to the showbread table to16:46everything ties back into Jesus Christ.16:50Right? And it's a beautiful thing.16:53But people love those things. Do you16:56understand what I'm saying? The The16:58gospel has become too watered down for17:00them. Right? And really really what I17:02respect about you guys is that if you're17:04still here, then that shows me that it's17:08not watered down for you.17:10Do you guys understand what I'm saying?17:12Like, it it's it's it's kind of amazing17:15where there are so many people who have17:17started this way17:19and were like, "Dude, you're you're17:21legit. I love what you do." But then17:23they leave because they're like, "Okay,17:25I got the gospel now." But when you look17:27at their lives, they have no disciples.17:30And the disciples they have is because17:31the church put them into that position17:33to disciple people.17:35Do you guys understand what I'm saying?17:37So, all it is is then it's dopamine.17:40Now, I'm not saying because you guys17:42don't have disciples you're less than or17:43because they don't have disciples you're17:45less than. But there is a fruit aspect17:48of this,17:49right? There is a a17:52a gaining of a heart. So, even if even17:54if we're not talking about disciples,17:56brothers and sisters,17:57can you can you guys even gain a heart18:00posture? Right? That's very difficult.18:03Do you understand what I'm saying? Like,18:05when someone comes to you and they want18:07to talk about God18:09and you can't really exegesis scripture18:12or even gain their heart, that's that's18:14very telling.18:16Do you guys understand what I'm saying?18:17Cuz in any other thing, and I'm not18:19saying this to18:21discourage you guys, but I want you guys18:23to be honest with yourselves so that it18:25remains humble, right? And then you can18:27grow.18:28When you when you sit there18:30and someone comes to you,18:32right?18:33And18:34you're18:35even if it wasn't about the gospel, in18:38anything, if I'm sitting here, brothers18:40and sisters, let's say,18:42and the time that you spend dedicated18:44here with me, listening to the gospel,18:47hearing me preach, jumping on my mains,18:49jumping on my lives, jumping on18:51everything, right? Reading all my18:53devotionals, having access to my apps.18:55Let's say18:56Let's say you choose something like a18:58hobby like fishing. Let's just use19:00fishing for the sake of just simplicity.19:03You watch all the videos on YouTube of19:06this professional fisherman. You buy all19:08of his courses. You listen to everything19:10that he does,19:11right? But when you hit the water19:14for 6 months at a time, you go out you19:18go out once a day or once a week for 119:20year, however long you guys have been in19:22here,19:23and you can't even catch one fish, what19:26does that say?19:28Two things. Either I suck as a leader,19:32or you suck. Do you understand what I'm19:34saying? You understand, right? So, in19:37any circumstance,19:39right? It wouldn't It would be19:41unacceptable.19:42Do you guys understand what I'm saying19:44here?19:45You understand, right? So, it doesn't19:48matter how much unlocks you have.19:51That's what I'm saying. You can learn19:53all about that. You can go and travel19:54and spend your money and go to C life.19:56You can learn these things, but if19:57there's nothing that you're applying to19:59people,20:00then what what does that make What like20:03respectfully, what does that matter?20:05That's what needs to humble us down.20:08That's what's going to make you listen.20:10Do you guys understand what I'm saying,20:11brothers and sisters?20:13It like that's the thing that I'm trying20:16to I'm not saying you guys are horrible20:18because you guys don't have disciples.20:20Please hear me out. If you're If you're20:23hearing that and Satan is trying to20:24speak for me,20:26don't hear that. Listen carefully to20:28what I'm saying.20:30I am saying and to get to the humble20:33heart to where you can have disciples,20:35you need that humble heart. Do you20:38understand?20:39Do you understand? You need that heart20:41of all, I can't do this. I can sit in20:44Johnny's lives and produce nothing. I20:47can listen to him day in and day out. I20:50can know his bars and his clippies and20:52his finish his sentences. I can know his20:54put that on a shirt sayings, his20:57one-line bangers. But, I cannot even21:00reach one soul, then that means I must21:04listen deeper.21:06I really want to crack that code. I have21:09to learn Do Do you guys understand what21:10I'm saying here?21:12So, many people, what they do is they21:13love to accessorize what I say. I'll see21:16it in the lives. I'll see it in the main21:18stages. I will say, "Guys,21:21uh21:22Cath, don't say anything." And Cath will21:25answer.21:26Do Do you guys understand what I'm21:27saying? Because that's what we like.21:30I went through this a lot early on,21:32especially.21:33I don't want you guys to fall into the21:36same trap.21:37Ooh, I know the answer. I'm going to21:39show people cuz right now there's an21:41audience, right? If you're being real.21:43Cuz I said I think it was like21:45yesterday or 2 days ago, I was like,21:47"Why was Cain's offering not accepted?"21:50I said, "Cath, don't say anything. Let21:52these guys" I see people right here in21:54in this chat going, "Because it was from21:57the ground. Because it was from the21:58ground. Because the ground was cursed."22:00Do you understand? Straight up I know22:02it. I know your your profile picture's22:04the same here as it is there. And you're22:05saying it. And I'm like, "Why are you22:07doing that?"22:08The only reason why Do you guys know22:10why? Is edification.22:12Do you understand? It's because I want22:14to show others I know Look, I listened22:16to Johnny. I know. Right, but where are22:18your disciples?22:19Do Do you understand now?22:21Brothers and sisters?22:23Right? Amen. Hey, if you're enjoying22:25this episode, I have a whole other video22:27episode on all platforms, YouTube,22:30Spotify, Instagram, all that. Every22:32single Monday. Each episode is a22:34gospel-centered lesson that you can22:36apply to your life today. So, this is22:38more conversational. You guys know my22:40team, Jeremy and Aaron. We just have a22:42lot of fun. We joke around, but we get22:44serious, we get vulnerable. It's just22:47very, very different, and it's22:48beautiful. I hope you guys can tune in.22:51And we made this for you guys, so please22:52enjoy. So, at the end of the day, I22:55realized the one thing I'm scared about,22:57and I and I'll be honest with you guys,22:59that I've contemplated very heavily23:01about Core of the Heart and letting it23:03go or not is this one thing.23:05Is am I creating just a bunch of23:08like not Pharisees, but just like a23:12bunch of big brainers, a bunch of23:14self-edifiers?23:16And if that's the case, I don't want23:17cough. I'll go straight back to prison23:20and preach the gospel there.23:22Do you Do you guys understand what I'm23:23saying? To be honest, it is a net23:25positive.23:27When I look at the situation,23:29most people have the heart to go, "Yes,23:32I want to show you like I know I know23:36the answer."23:37Do you guys understand what I'm saying?23:39For new people in here, they don't know23:40what I'm talking about. Old heads in23:42here, you know what exactly what I'm23:43saying.23:44Do you understand? You'll see a certain23:46person will answer because their their23:49heart is already like, "Yes, like yeah,23:52I want to know."23:54Do you understand what I'm saying?23:55Right, guys?23:56So, at the end of the day,23:59there's this heart of if you really dig24:02into your own heart a little bit, do I24:05answer because it feels right because it24:07feels good? If you're doing that, that's24:09the wrong one. That's the wrong heart.24:12Do you understand? The the the heart has24:14to be24:15like when I'm around Pastor Kim, do you24:18I can preach24:20as good as him, genuinely.24:23Right? I can stand with the pastors.24:24There's times a pastor will go, "Johnny,24:27preach." I'm like, "What the24:29Bro, you're here. You you preach." You24:31know, Johnny, tell him. Tell Go, you you24:33go. I'm like, "What the hell? Okay." And24:34I'll start preaching and I'll gain the24:36soul or whatever, right? He'll throw24:37like alley-oops to me, right? As we say.24:39He'll lob it to me.24:41But there's times where even during that24:44time,24:45I stay completely silent next to pastor.24:48Pastor John does the same thing. Pastor24:50James does the same thing. They will24:52never ever ever, even though they they24:55know the answer, they will never add24:57their two cents.24:58Do you understand? But when I look at25:00here, respectfully,25:01it's always adding the two cents.25:04It's always, you know, I see it with the25:06brothers here and the sisters here.25:08Right? They don't They don't They just25:10don't know25:12how it how like It's like It's almost25:15this energy of like "Ooh, it's my time25:18to shine now. This new soul is here and25:21and it's this energy of it's my time to25:23show them." Like25:25I what Look like I know what I know and25:27it's my time to show Johnny that I know25:29what I know. It's my time to show this25:31guy's sister and brother what what I25:33know what I like If you do this, you25:35will completely miss the the the the art25:38of soul gaining is what I'm saying.25:40Do you understand what I'm saying?25:42Right? I've seen it. I've seen it uh25:45throughout the years and it's not it's25:48not an ego trip thing. I don't think25:49it's an ego-related thing.25:52I think there it's a mixture of Satan25:57kind of trickiness and I'll explain how25:59that makes sense.26:00Because26:02we want people to get saved, which is26:04passionate. Uh which is not an evil26:07thing. We want people to get saved. But26:09when you think about it heavily,26:12uh there are people around that it's the26:15smartest thing to do is to let them26:17handle it. Right? If If I have you know,26:21um if someone needs26:24a haircut and I have scissors and26:26someone else has a has clippers, like26:30automated clippers, right?26:32I wouldn't use my scissors. I would put26:34that away and go, "Oh, he has clippers."26:36Like handle your business. Do you guys26:38understand what I'm saying? Whoever is26:40more better equipped should handle the26:42situation.26:44But it's so weird, right?26:46In any other thing it's like that.26:48Right? But in our thing, like in our26:53Christian, you know, spirituality,26:55spiritual life, right? It's always I27:00want to show what time it is on my27:03thing. What I What I really like about27:05Pastor Kim is that he knows like when to27:10speak and when not to speak. I see it27:12all the time. When his pastors are27:14around, he doesn't say anything. When27:16his higher-ups are around, he doesn't27:17say anything. He lets them talk and27:19preach, right?27:21When people come, you know, um27:25and I'll use an example, right? There27:27was a27:28a brother who27:30his family came,27:32right? And I want to I want to dissect27:34situations like this not to Let me27:37preface this with not to judge, not to27:40hurt people, but I want you guys to27:42learn, okay? From this and how maybe you27:46guys can gain something in whatever you27:47gain from it, okay?27:49So, we had a family night at our church.27:53Some of you guys attended.27:55There was a brother,27:57his mother, his father, his sister28:01came to this family dinner, right, guys?28:05So,28:07and the whole point of the family28:10dinner,28:11most people they don't think the way I28:13think, but I think like this. Why did28:15Pastor Isaac Kim Kim Chang Young, my28:19pastor, why did Pastor Kim28:21create this?28:23That's the first thing I thought. Like,28:26he could utilize his resources to do28:28other things, but he chose on this28:32specific, you know, Saturday or whatever28:33day it was to have and invite family28:37members.28:38And what would be the heart of God in28:40all of this?28:42Probably to gain the family members,28:44right? Then I started to think another28:46way.28:47If the family members came to this weird28:50Korean church with a tatted up gang28:52member and all these different races and28:54different people28:56and they're just getting fed, it's kind28:58of weird.28:59Like what what would if I were in their29:02shoes, what would I think?29:04Right? Oh, this is a sensitive29:07environment. This is a place that, you29:09know, I don't really know. I'm coming29:11here to support my family, but like they29:14uh Maybe Maybe some of these guys are29:16coming out of obligation. Maybe some of29:18them are coming just to come. I would29:20say 90% of people came just out of29:23obligation. Would you It was a like they29:25were obliged to do so.29:27Right?29:28So29:29in that way, do you think people are29:32going to come sensitive or they're going29:34to come comfortable? They're probably29:36going to be heightened in their senses.29:39They're probably going to be like, "This29:40is kind of weird."29:42Do you understand?29:43They're probably nervous. Probably it's29:45a little off, right?29:47And so what do I do?29:49Right? I think about these people and I29:51think if I was them29:54what would be the thing that I would29:55want? I would want people to be nice to29:58me.29:59I would want people to probably not see30:01that I'm nervous because I don't want to30:03look weird.30:04But I would love things that are exactly30:06welcoming and comforting. Would you guys30:09agree?30:10Yes.30:11Right?30:12I would not want any vibes of main30:14character. Respectfully, I would like to30:17be the main character because when you30:19feel like the main character30:21then you feel edified and you feel30:23comfortable.30:25When you realize, "Oh, these guys are30:26respecting me." then you you step out of30:28your comfort zone.30:30Would you you guys understand? And then30:31you become very happy. You become very30:34very good. So with that mindset30:37I prayed to God30:39and I said, "Father God30:41I30:42I don't know why you created this. I30:44have assumed this is what it is. If it's30:47incorrect, correct me. If it is correct,30:50please allow me to move with the heart.30:52Now,30:53when you know, we had it in the small30:55chapel. And then the small chapel, if30:56you guys know, it has a lot of round30:58tables and small little tables.31:01Let me preface this. I am not saying31:03this31:04to to belittle31:06or make you guys feel less than. You31:08have to hear what I'm saying. Right?31:10Everyone agree, right? I am not saying31:12this to belittle or make people feel31:14less than.31:16Got it, right? Okay.31:18But, what I saw immediately was no one31:21thought like that.31:23Nobody at the table thought like that.31:25Do you guys understand what I'm saying?31:27When his parents sat down, when his31:30sister sat down, I could sense the the31:33the awkwardness.31:35So, immediately,31:37right?31:38The brother31:40goes, "This is really weird right now."31:42Right there, I'm like,31:44does not have the heart to think about31:46others, right?31:47Do you guys understand what I'm saying?31:49Right? This brother is talking about,31:52you know,31:53you know, that brother, right? Yeah, I31:55see the change in him. You really were31:57different. Blah. Again, although it31:59seems right, not the right thing to say.32:01Why?32:03Because they're here, and the whole32:05point is not to talk about the son, but32:08to get to know them.32:10Do you understand?32:11Right? So, I'm sitting there and I'm32:13like letting them speak.32:15And it seems right. But, where we gained32:18the heart, where I realized they opened32:20up, was32:22I just started to ask them questions.32:24Hey, so, how did you guys hear about us?32:27No, that's amazing. Do you guys like the32:28food? Wow, man, I noticed you're eating32:30a lot of kim The dad was like smashing32:32the kimchi.32:34And he's like, "No, it's it's really for32:35gut health." And I said, "Wow, it's kind32:37of amazing that you know that because a32:39lot of people don't know that kimchi is32:41this you know, the fermented things are32:43actually good for gut health." He goes,32:44"Oh, absolutely. Probiotics, prebiotics,32:46it's 100%."32:47You know, that's interesting. Did Have32:49you been to Korea? Like in this way,32:52what are we doing? If you notice, every32:54question is directed towards them. It's32:57not when I came to church, I was a gang32:59member, I was this, the gospel, it's33:01none of that. It's all about, "Hey, what33:04is it that you Can I know I'd I'd love33:07to get to know who you are?" This is the33:09problem with people who only think about33:10themselves.33:12Is that there's none of that. It's33:13always Where Where can I slip in the33:15gospel? Where Where can I right now33:17focus on how to How do I preach it to33:18them right now? Okay, what did they33:19Okay, they said that. Okay, they're33:20struggling with depression. Let me talk33:21about how I was Like it's it's it's very33:24difficult. Do you guys understand what33:26I'm saying?33:27Right? It's like we're waiting to let33:29them know.33:31But we don't want to even Before you33:33guys preach, you have to be able to gain33:36their heart posture. You have to have a33:39relationship with them. So, when the33:42mother spoke, she was a little bit33:44guarded, to be honest. It was the mom33:45more than the father.33:47I could I could see this.33:49"Hey, where are you going?" You know,33:50"Oh, I got to go sing. I got to leave33:52them alone." If I was him, I would have33:54been like, "No, it's okay. I'm going to33:55go to share my heart with pastor and33:57say, 'Hey, they're here. They're a33:58little bit awkward. Can I not practice34:00the rehearsal real quick? I got it down.34:02Let me just sit here uh and and and and34:05and talk to them."34:06Right?34:08But he just kind of left them for a34:10second. So, immediately I went into like34:14super heart gaining mode because I knew34:17there That right there, just that little34:19bit would have closed their hearts. Cuz34:21they would sit there and go, uh "This is34:23awkward. There's this tatted up Asian34:25guy over here. There's this two Hispanic34:27guys over here. There's There's old34:29Chinese lady, which is my mom. It's34:31like, what the hell? We don't have it34:32like34:33We don't know what to say now.34:36Right? So, immediately I'm like, So, so34:39you you had mentioned that you were a34:40teacher. She's like, yeah, for 38 years,34:42however long she said. I said, wow, you34:44know what? Um is there anything that's34:46ever difficult being a teacher?34:49And she goes, yeah, actually.34:52You know, uh there's a lot, right? I34:54said, you know, being that the kids34:55nowadays are kind of like pro everyone's34:58pro their children, their their little34:59angels can't be wrong. She's like, tell35:01me about it. Right there we're35:02connecting. Why? Because I'm touching up35:05on something that she can't really share35:08openly with people.35:09But I'm telling her that I see it.35:12Do you guys understand what I'm saying?35:13So, how do you deal with when parents35:15come in and they're able to do that?35:17Now, these are things that you have to35:18understand is eating at her.35:21Because if I was a teacher,35:23and and I and I have to treat everyone35:25like angels when they're all not angels,35:28that's going to eat at me. And I'm doing35:29that for years.35:31Do you understand what I'm saying? Not35:33only that, it's such a sudden shift35:35because 20 years ago is not the same as35:3810 years ago, right? And 10 years ago is35:41not the same as 30 years ago. So, as you35:43learn to think about people's hearts,35:46you're able to ask them these things and35:48naturally dig up these these skeletons35:50that they have. Oh, and she started to35:52open her heart. Yeah, you know, it's35:54it's difficult, but it's also very35:55rewarding.35:57Right?35:57And so, I'm like, oh, that's their36:00heart.36:01They're They want to sacrifice36:04so much so36:05as parents that as long as the kids do36:09well, that's what matters. So,36:10immediately I thought about it. When was36:13a time in this split second when a36:15teacher helped me out? Understand what36:17I'm saying?36:19When do when do I like when did my36:21teacher help me out? And maybe like they36:24can be thankful about that. And I36:26thought about Miss Soto.36:28So, I I led with that. You know,36:29actually why I I say I I I appreciate36:32you guys36:33is because in the sixth grade I had a36:34teacher.36:35And out of all the other teachers,36:38uh she was the only one that told me I36:39was normal and that she really cared36:41about me.36:42Um I think a lot of other teachers uh36:44were misunderstood and then maybe they36:46didn't articulate it, but she told me36:48flat out that she cared about me and she36:50really has a lot of love for me. Until36:52this day, I'm 36 now,36:54I still remember Miss Soto. And she she36:56got like teary-eyed. She's like, "Oh,36:59wow, amen. Like, yeah, that's what it37:01is. Like, that's what we do it for." I'm37:02like, "Amen."37:04Right? And she's like, "Yeah." And then37:06I look over at the dad and I Now he's37:08tuning in. So, I switch. Hey, so about37:11you, you know,37:12how what happened, you know, with your37:14arm and I see that Oh, man. And he told37:17me this amazing story.37:19Really? So, so what's so what's Would37:20you say that Volvo's using a Volvo? His37:22car flipped and literally they degloved37:24his arm. That's a medical term where for37:26the skin peeled off of his arm37:28completely. It's called degloving. It's37:30disgusting.37:31But he was like, "Look at my It's deglo-37:33I was like, "Can I see it?" And he he37:34like He's like, "Yeah." And I said, "So,37:35what happened?" He goes, "Man, it's only37:37God." So, boom. He's I'm not bringing up37:40God. He's now bringing it up. Do you37:42understand?37:43Oh, interesting. What Why do you say37:45that it was God? Well, let me tell you37:47the story. I rolled over six times. My37:49arm was literally out there in the37:51middle of nowhere, by the way. These37:53back country roads.37:55There's a person who stops by and they37:57happen to be an EMT. And they happen to38:00I said, "Wow, glory to God. Amen. Yeah,38:02you know, so would you say that you're38:04here for a purpose?" Absolutely. Now,38:06going back to the thing about, you know,38:09talking to, you know, about God, right?38:11I'm like, "So, you know, then now we're38:15learning these people's heart posture.38:17I'm then able to ask, "So, so what38:19brought you guys here?"38:21Instead of Imagine just leading without38:23knowing anybody. It can come off as why38:25the hell are you here?38:27Do you understand what I'm saying? So38:28after I'm like what brought you guys38:30here?38:31Oh, you know, actually yeah, we just38:32wanted to come and support James and you38:35know, oh, have you guys noticed any38:37changes in James like you know, to be38:40honest at first I wasn't really sure,38:42you know, and right there it tells me38:44that they're open enough to tell me38:46that. Right there, that's a that's a38:48indicator that the heart posture is38:50open. Why? Cuz they're sharing something38:52with you that they would never actually38:54normally lead with. Right there, there's38:57these little cues if you're paying38:58attention, you guys, that oh,39:02they're now letting me know they're39:03letting me in a little bit, which I'm39:05very thankful. So what did I say? And I39:07was happy. Thank you for sharing that.39:08You know, I I really respect that you39:10you're kind of just honest about that.39:12And he goes, well, I mean, that's the39:13only way to be. 100% Right?39:17And so they're like, yeah, and he's39:18like, you know,39:20it's it's different, you know, and I39:21said, you know, I really respect the39:22heart of parents. And they kind of39:24listened in.39:25And why I respect you guys is is, you39:27know, I could be fake and be like, cuz39:29you raised an amazing son like this kid39:31and I could say that. But what I said39:34was, you know, a lot of the times you39:37guys are not getting praised for the39:38things that you do.39:40So you bringing them cuz he was talking39:41about bringing them to soccer and and39:43you know, softball whatever. You guys39:45taking them and doing that and39:46sacrificing your time and your money to39:48do this, you know, it's not an easy39:50thing. And so when I see that I'm I I39:53really do commend that. It's it's so39:55difficult to get up and do the things39:57that you need to do and then take care39:59of not one but two other human beings.40:02It's really not easy to do that. And so40:04it's I can see why you're a teacher and40:06I can see why you do what you do. And40:09they're like, but Johnny, it is so much40:11more40:12uh the reward is so much more. I said, I40:14bet. I'm sure. And you know, that I've40:16I've learned I had to learn that from40:17the Bible, that giving is better than40:21receiving. And they're like, "Amen."40:23Right there, we're now shifting, if you40:25can see, towards the Bible without me40:28having going, "Do you have sins? Are you40:30righteous? Are you holy? Do you know40:31what sin is?" Like, I don't have to do40:32that. Do you guys understand what I'm40:33saying? In these ways, if you learn how40:36to gain a person's heart posture and40:39dissect it in this way, you don't have40:42to force anything.40:43They will give you everything that that40:46you need. You have to be able to listen.40:49You have to be able to know heart40:51posture.40:52But people in here will hear what I'm40:54saying here and go, "I can never do40:55this. I'm not good." They'll do this,40:57because that's the enemy.40:59Do you understand? That's why I preface41:00with I'm not saying you're less than.41:03I'm not saying you're worse. Why am I41:04saying this to you guys? To boost myself41:06up? No, to teach you guys the game, so41:08that you guys can make disciples. And41:10after I gave my testimony, that father41:12came to me. He gave me a hug like a41:14fatherly hug, and said, "I would love,41:16Johnny, to talk to you on the side.41:19One day, you've been through a lot of41:21Excuse my language, like, you've been41:22through a lot of man." He said41:24that. And I really, really want to, you41:27know, would love to get to to to to talk41:29to you. Just You have a good spirit,41:31man. And thank you for like being so41:32inviting. And thank you for being so41:34encouraging." That's what he said.41:36Right? And I was like, "Thank you. Thank41:38you for listening to somebody like me,41:40you know, genuinely.41:43I I Right? Right? When he first came, he41:45was completely quiet.41:47All he was doing was eating.41:48And you know, that's kind of how people41:50are when they feel41:52difficult, right? They just stay on41:54their phone or they they they they they41:56kind of disengage.41:57But he came up to me,42:00shook my hand, hugged me,42:02and said, "You know, I really, really42:03hope that we can get to know each42:05other." And I was like,42:06that You got to think about the dynamic.42:08He is a a older white gentleman who grew42:12up in Westwood, which is42:14affluent West LA,42:16coming to an a tatted up Asian gang42:19member and going, "I love your spirit. I42:21would like to know you more." You have42:23to understand that it's possible to gain42:26people. We are from two opposite sides.42:28He'd be the type to call the cops on me.42:30Do you understand what I'm saying? And42:32yet we're able to, because of God and42:34gain heart posture, have a deeper42:36conversation.42:37Respectfully.42:39And so this is but but people, the issue42:42with 99% of us here42:44is that we only want to yap.42:47Like I yap on here. Don't get me wrong.42:50But if you're if you see me at that42:51table, if you see me in real person, I42:53don't say anything. Like when I'm Just42:56watch my podcast with other people. I42:58don't talk.42:59Why? Cuz I'm always observing and I'm43:01always listening. Why?43:03Cuz I don't I don't need to teach y'all43:05like that. I'm I'm willing to learn. I'm43:07willing to listen.43:09But people love to just yap. I want to43:11show you how great I am. The thing about43:15the gospel and the thing about social43:17media is you're able to see a person and43:22how they react even in social media.43:25So when you when your guys' things pop43:27up on my feed, a lot of you guys are43:28clippers.43:29The way you clip shows me what your43:31heart is. The way you move, how you go43:34and evangelize, shows me where your43:36heart is at.43:38I don't say anything. I just pray for43:39you.43:41But I must say, most people are43:44"Look at me. This is what I can do."43:47That's just the real.43:48Do you understand what I'm saying,43:49brothers and sisters? It's very like uh43:53it's it's it's hard to have disciples in43:55that way.43:56Do you understand what I'm saying? It's43:58very hard.43:59Right? Even in my own podcast, you guys44:02were getting mad at me. "Why didn't you44:04ask him more? How come Johnny didn't44:06tell George that this was wrong? How44:08come he How come he, you know, with44:10James Sexton, he could have just44:11unlocked it and said, "You're trusting44:13your thoughts." Like, y'all are telling44:15me how I By you doing that, you expose44:18exactly how you how you move every44:20single day.44:21Do you guys understand what I'm saying?44:23It shows me like44:25two two things.44:27I don't move like that.44:29And essentially, even though I've never44:32gained a soul, I'm telling you who who44:34gains souls for a living how to do44:37certain things. It just shows you.44:40Do you understand what I'm saying? It it44:41There's no There's no way that it We're44:44full of ourselves, is what I'm saying.44:46Right? And I'm not saying this to be44:47mean. I'm just being honest.44:49Amen. Right? The one the the little dubs44:52that I get44:54is really amazing, right? Where I see,44:57like, Mark, out of the whole thing, what44:59was the biggest unlock for Mark? Let's45:02see if you guys, when you're reading the45:03heart posture, and you see Mark Later,45:06and he's sitting there, and he's he's45:07talking, and he's talk He's yapping and45:09yapping and yapping. What's the one45:11thing you gained that was the unlock?45:13Let's see if you guys are paying45:14attention here.45:16Right?45:17And this can be subjective. Love changes45:19everything. Faith you had listening.45:21When he said he thinks he does believe45:23deep down.45:24He was more open to God. He's attentive.45:27Listen.45:28Got to go.45:30He was interrupting, giving them a45:31platform to express He saw that he saw45:33pain. He thinks he's good. No idea. So,45:36the number one unlock45:38with Mark Later, the one who put me on45:40for Soft White Underbelly, the white45:41guy, older white guy,45:43right?45:44was45:46he recognized that in all things,45:50he had number one It was two things,45:51really, but the main thing stems from45:54this one thing.45:55Was that he he realized that he's a45:58little bit subjective and biased when it46:01comes to religion.46:04Right? Right.46:05So,46:06that was the thing where he recognized46:09like46:10I I look at it a little bit different46:11now.46:13I used to be a little more harsh on it.46:15Like, that is you guys may not46:17understand is a humongous W.46:21For a man to be just think about the46:23environment. You're grown up in a in a46:26in a in a46:27household where the father is46:29anti-religion completely. Believes that46:31it's completely a sham,46:33a scam, and all that. It's all fake.46:36And then to go, you know, and then him46:38saying how he loves his dad and he had46:40great parents. So, he has respect for46:42them.46:43To then go,46:45respectfully, they were a little bit46:46wrong about this part. Do you46:48understand?46:49Like, that is very difficult to do.46:52And so, when I saw that, that was enough46:55for me. I don't know about y'all, but46:56for me, that was more than enough to go,46:58"Mhm, there's hope."47:00Potentially.47:01If it's by the grace of God.47:04But, we miss so many of these little47:06gems when we don't know how to pay47:08attention. Do you guys understand what47:10I'm saying?47:11People want this like theatrical change.47:14That's the problem.47:15Right? Oh, he comes on and he cries and47:18goes, "Johnny, I gave my life to God.47:20I'm righteous and perfect." Like, that's47:21what we all want.47:23But, we don't realize that it always47:25starts with the smallest little seeds,47:28the smallest little things. It's always47:30like that.47:31Right? So,47:32why I'm led to share these types of47:34things47:36is because I I genuinely want you guys47:38to understand that47:40there are so many wins and there are so47:42many47:43graceful and blessed blessed things.47:45But, if we don't know how to look at the47:47details of it,47:49then then what happens is we we think47:51everything sucks.47:53Right? People who are living in the47:55church, who will a church,47:57every single day you wake up, you should48:00be thankful for that.48:02Because a lot of people don't have that48:04church, and they don't have that48:05guidance.48:07Understand what I'm saying?48:08Right?48:10Instead, it's always like, I want to48:12think for myself.48:14I want things for myself. You know,48:16that's that's truly the most48:19I would say, biggest stumbling block48:22for for a lot of us48:24is48:25I Yeah, it's great, but like48:27what else though?48:29It's this energy of like48:31I I will like it if I think it's good.48:33I'm not going to try to even entertain48:35why it's actually good from someone48:37who's been through it all.48:39Right?48:40And so, that's why it's it's it's hard,48:42it's difficult to talk to people like48:44that, because they're good.48:46In the end, what happens to people is48:48they leave because of that.48:51Why? Because Coral Ridge doesn't serve48:53them the way that they want to anymore.48:55The church doesn't serve them the way48:57they want to anymore.48:59And what happens is they slowly drift.49:01And it just becomes like that.49:03You You understand, guys?49:05Right?49:06And so, it's it's very important to49:08recognize that. Right?49:11But, people49:12you know49:13what they care about is49:16always self-edification.49:18That's the most important thing.49:20Right? They care about how am I going to49:23be up there?49:24Right? How do I get up there?49:27To the position where I don't have to49:28drift anymore, and I understand people,49:31and49:31even though I'm telling you guys how to49:33do it. It is Isn't it crazy?49:35Right? I'm telling you guys how to do49:37it. But, it's hard for us to hear it.49:39Why? Because it doesn't match the way we49:42want certain things. So, at the end of49:44the day49:46I can see, you know, people want to do49:48those I see it. Whether you guys are49:50doing SIA or CLF49:52or making your own platforms, trust and49:54believe. I I have to call it what it is.49:56I see it. The heart is not there to49:58preach the gospel, respectfully.50:01The heart is there to gain so that we50:03can feel like we're50:05exalted by God.50:07That's just the real.50:09Amen. But, if you acknowledge that, you50:12will become the best gospel preachers.50:15Do you understand what I'm saying? Most50:17people just want what what what I have.50:20That's the God on this shoe. They want50:22to be able to go50:23So, I can preach the gospel and get50:26loved by many people, and God would be50:28happy, and there would I would be happy,50:31and I can make money off of it on top of50:33that, and I can have financial freedom,50:35spiritual freedom, and physical freedom.50:37Dang, like sign me up, bro.50:40Like there if you're real with yourself,50:43that's genuinely what it is.50:45Understand what I'm saying? And then,50:47you won't be able to go You won't50:49accessorize the gospel anymore.50:52You'll be able to go, "Mhm, I'm this50:54type of person who doesn't even deserve50:56to preach the gospel?"50:57Now, preach with that heart. I guarantee51:00you you'll start having disciples.51:02Do you understand?51:04I guarantee you.51:05Make sense? I guarantee you. It'll just51:08come. The byproduct of discipleship51:10is51:12Wow, he doesn't He doesn't do it.51:15He can't do it. But, somehow he's doing51:17it.51:18How is that? It's God.51:20Right? A lot of us need that temperature51:21check here and there. And so, it's it's51:23okay, you know, it's okay to sit there51:25and51:27you know,51:28excuse me, be selfish, right? It's okay.51:31But, at the same time,51:34um51:35Pastor we says, "Don't stay there."51:37Right? Don't stay there.51:39Right? Understand what I'm saying?51:41Right? Don't stay there. Rather, it's51:44it's more important to hear the message51:48and hear the heart behind the message.51:51Why I'm saying this thing to you guys is51:53how do we51:55receive discipleship? You know, I talk51:57about this because51:59I spoke to52:01Pastor Kim yesterday.52:04We're having a very deep fellowship52:06about this.52:07And he gave me some really good unlocks,52:08but I think the most important thing I52:10want to share with you guys is52:13he says, you know,52:14by the way that a person lives, you can52:17tell where their level of respect for52:19God is.52:20Right? People can come to church and you52:23know, he asked about a brother that52:25no longer comes to church, but would52:27come to church and would be so like52:28sitting in the front and all of that,52:31you know.52:32And he was like, how is he? And time to52:34time I see him in here.52:36He explained the situation to me of what52:37happened and I and I understand.52:40Right? He would come to him with, you52:42know, certain unlocks and52:44and it was always like he would want to52:45talk about unlocks and his own heart52:48posture.52:49And one day, you know, Pastor had to52:50check that.52:51But during the checking stage, that's52:53when he left.52:54Right?52:55So, you know, Jesus says the same thing.52:59Will you guys leave me, too?53:01Right? That's kind of wild, right? For53:03Jesus to say that to the 12 disciples53:05when he had so many, many more. It says53:07until that time people stopped following53:09him.53:11It says they followed him no longer.53:13No more.53:14Right?53:15Everyone in here, obviously what I want53:17you guys to do is grow.53:19But I don't control that.53:21Do you know who controls that? You do,53:23actually.53:24Right?53:25In that, there's only one thing you have53:27to do53:28is to have the heart to recognize who53:30you really are53:31according to what the Bible says and53:33then the listening aspect. Amen?53:36Right?53:37It's just how it is.53:39And it's not hard, you know. It's not53:41hard when you look at your life.53:43Understand what I'm saying?53:45Right?53:46It's not hard when you look at your53:47life. Now, newcomers, it's a little bit53:48different because you you're not really53:51trained to do it right now, which is53:53okay. So, if you're new, it's okay.53:56Even if you're old, it's okay. What I'm53:58saying is53:59this is what I'm addressing54:00foundationally. Is what I've noticed is54:02that a lot of people just care about54:04their own heart posture, right?54:06And if you do that, yes, you will still54:08be saved. Don't get me wrong. You're not54:11going to go to hell.54:12But like54:13what about if I act if I move that way54:17with you guys?54:18What about if Pastor Kim moved that way54:20with me?54:21What if he sat there and he said54:23"I don't want to listen54:26and gain Johnny's heart. I just want to54:28talk about the gospel and what I want to54:30say."54:31I would never be saved. And then in in54:33turn, I don't think you guys would ever54:35really hear the gospel this way.54:37Amen?54:38Right?54:39But in here54:40right?54:41People are only focused on their own54:44heart posture at times.54:46Every single one of us has that issue.54:49But you have to think54:50if I treated people this way or was54:52treated that way54:54people would just leave. They would just54:56leave, genuinely. They leave even when54:58we don't do that. Imagine if I did do55:00that, and they would leave.55:02There would be nobody here.55:04Right?55:05So55:06you know, the thing that you guys have55:08to pray for, you all have homework is to55:10have the heart to think about others.55:13Is to ask God, "Father God, please put55:15my heart down."55:16Right?55:17"Lord, please only allow me to think55:19about your heart55:21in the way that Johnny was gaining other55:22people's hearts. Please give me that55:24heart to me, too."55:26To think about others. How they move,55:28how they talk, how they sit, how they55:30And that's where real exaltation will55:32actually come.55:33Because you start to go into the55:35position of a servant, which is lower55:37than, less than.55:38And God says if you go to the low55:40position, he will raise you to the high55:41position.55:42Do you understand what I'm saying?55:44Right? That's what it says in the Bible.55:46Go to the low position so I can raise55:48you up. Right? So so smart people will55:51genuinely want who want to be raised up,55:53at least do it the right way then.55:55Right? What is the right way? Lord, I I55:57can't do anything.55:59I'll go down to the lowest position cuz56:01I can't do anything.56:02I'm not just going to listen for the56:04unlocks, I'm going to listen because I56:05genuinely want to hear you.56:07And I genuinely want you to be proud.56:10And I'm going to do the same thing56:11because someone did the same thing for56:13me.56:14Somebody heard me out. Somebody was56:16sensitive with me.56:18Somebody acknowledged what I said even56:19though I was wrong.56:21Do you understand what I'm saying?56:22Right?56:23So it it's it's really different, guys.56:26What we learn here is true discipleship.56:28But even if I'm discipling like a radio56:31frequency,56:32if I'm just if I'm56:34if I'm on YouTube56:36on and I'm doing a live on YouTube, and56:39you're you don't have YouTube, you're56:41only on Instagram,56:42even if I'm broadcasting live on56:44YouTube, can you hear the sermon? No.56:46You're not in the right frequency.56:48You're not on the same platform as as56:50the person.56:51In the same way, I can sit here and I56:53can be preaching,56:55but it would be if your heart is an56:56Instagram and my heart is preaching56:59YouTube gospel,57:01your heart is only going to focus on57:02Instagram.57:04You could hear me all day. It doesn't57:05matter.57:06Do you guys understand what I'm saying?57:07It's not going to enter.57:09Right?57:10So,57:11you know, that's the one thing.57:13Right? We we have to recognize those57:15things57:16about ourselves.57:17Oh, I'm a person who57:19I I can't do really any good without57:22God.57:22I can't even57:24listen correctly.57:26Even when I think I'm listening, I'm not57:27listening.57:29Right? So then should you listen to57:30yourself then? No.57:32That's when you become better. But the57:34thought will come. If I'm not listening,57:36then I just don't then for effort then.57:37I'm not going to do anything.57:39That's the wrong heart. You're still57:40listening to yourself.57:42Do you guys understand what I'm saying?57:44Like when someone says, "I don't trust57:46anybody." Do you know what they're57:47saying? "I only trust me."57:49That's what they're saying.57:50They didn't say that they trust57:51themselves. But when they go, "I don't57:53trust anybody." It means they only What57:55they're actually saying is I only trust57:57myself.57:58Do you understand what I'm saying?58:00Right? So, even though they're not like58:01saying those types of things.58:04Amen. You could see the way they move is58:07that's what it is. That's how they're58:08moving. Right? And so,58:11yeah, I I I I felt like sharing those58:13things because it's it's such an58:16amazing way to kind of notice people's58:18heart posture.58:20It's really different when you can gain58:21a person's soul58:23and they can open up to you.58:25And then you don't have to even worry58:27about having a high heart or low heart.58:29It's more of like, "Oh, I got it."58:32But I I I I know.58:34Right?58:35Like I know how it is how good it feels58:38to to58:40feel like you're preaching well.58:42To see the the the Bible the the light58:44bulb go off in, you know,58:46in their brain.58:48But just be careful.58:50Because a lot of the times that's also58:51for self.58:52Do you guys understand what I'm saying?58:54Right?58:55It it is.58:57And like even when we talk about like,58:59"Oh, I'm so sad, you know, I don't know59:02why. I just always do this." Like that's59:04not even the real heart. What we want to59:06show people is look at how humble I am.59:09I noticed this about myself. You see?59:11Look at me.59:12Like look look, Johnny. Look, Pastor.59:15Look look at me. I get it now. No, you59:17don't. Do you understand? I never go to59:19Pastor anymore and say that. To be59:21honest, it's been years59:23since I've ever said, "I know, I'm so59:25bad and wicked." Like I don't say that.59:27I don't ever say that to him.59:29Instead, I go,59:30"Pastor, what is it that you want to59:32say? Okay, so let me get this straight."59:34Like, a lot of for me, what I do is is59:36there's a lot of confirmation with59:38Pastor.59:40So, when Pastor says something, right?59:41Like,59:43let me think of a recent example. Let me59:45see.59:46Um that I needed clarity on. It's kind59:48of been a while, but let me think.59:51Mhm, starting the church.59:52So,59:54when he start when when uh you know, he59:55told the church.59:58And obviously, my church is my my church1:00:00address, and I1:00:02you know, starting the church, we needed1:00:03a church address.1:00:05We could rent a building, spend money,1:00:08or I can just utilize the building from1:00:10the church.1:00:11So,1:00:12Pastor, you know, I I share my heart1:00:14with him, and I say it will help us out1:00:16a lot if we can be a nonprofit. We can1:00:18sign up for permits to use parks, where1:00:20they charge us thousands of dollars, and1:00:22it'll be like $100.1:00:24You know, this is all for the community,1:00:25and he said, "Beautiful. I would love to1:00:27help you, but I need to go to my board1:00:29of advisors, the deacons, elders,1:00:31and other pastors, and I need to talk to1:00:33them about this." I said, "No problem.1:00:34Is there anything legal?" "No, we have1:00:36lawyers on deck who are on retainer, and1:00:38I pay them so that they can look over1:00:40things and and find out the laws and1:00:43bylaws and all of that, right? And get1:00:45all of the, you know,1:00:47uh the registration, everything done1:00:49correctly."1:00:50He goes, "Okay." So, we we draft up the1:00:52thing, I send it to him. He reads1:00:55through it, he brings it to his people.1:00:57And Pastor John calls me, and he goes,1:01:00"Dude, uh he he told us in the morning1:01:02that, you know, he's holding a meeting,1:01:04and everyone's like willing to help.1:01:06Um but, you know, there was one like1:01:10disagreement on something, right?" And I1:01:12was like, "Okay."1:01:13And1:01:14uh1:01:15you know, that that1:01:16that their church would be responsible1:01:18for our church if that's the case, and1:01:20he doesn't want that because you're your1:01:22own church.1:01:23And I said, "Okay, so1:01:25um he's like, "But it's pretty much a1:01:27pass." So, he was really happy.1:01:29And I was happy, and then when I called1:01:31pastor,1:01:33the thing that he said was,1:01:35"Hey Johnny, respectfully, we cannot1:01:37help you with this."1:01:39And I was like, "Wait, but Pastor John1:01:40just said you were cool with it. This is1:01:43my home church. You said you were cool1:01:45with it. Somebody from the top, like who1:01:47said no?" And he's like, "Well, that I1:01:49don't want to disclose that. It doesn't1:01:50matter.1:01:52Uh move by faith, okay? We're not going1:01:54to help you with this."1:01:56Just like that.1:01:57And so, what do you think I felt?1:01:59Frustrated.1:02:00Right?1:02:01I'm not doing this for myself. I'm doing1:02:03this for the gospel.1:02:04Okay, fine. So, hung up the phone.1:02:08Felt a little bit angry.1:02:10Felt emotional.1:02:12Mhm.1:02:13But the one thing I learned was,1:02:15talk to pastor.1:02:17Right?1:02:17I talked to Pastor John.1:02:19Pastor John said, "I know you're1:02:21hurting." And then I cried to him cuz1:02:23obviously it did it when he you know,1:02:24when he said it then I was like, "Dang,1:02:26it does hurt, you know?1:02:27But at the same time, Johnny, it's okay.1:02:30Like talk to pastor about it." I was1:02:33like, "Okay." So, I talked to pastor.1:02:35And he said, "Johnny, listen to me1:02:36carefully.1:02:38I don't hate you.1:02:39You know I care about you. You know I1:02:41love you. You know that I would help you1:02:43in any way that I can.1:02:44But in this thing,1:02:47I hope that you can understand and1:02:48listen to what I'm saying." I said,1:02:50"Okay." So, I kind of like toned it down1:02:52and I listened.1:02:54He said, "It's just it's not my church,1:02:56either.1:02:58We cannot make decisions based off of1:03:00what I say alone.1:03:02This belongs to Pastor Park and1:03:03everybody else.1:03:05And if there's any discrepancy,1:03:08like we have to be able to separate it,1:03:10right?1:03:11I you have to understand that I'm also1:03:13caring for my congregation."1:03:15And I said, "Understood."1:03:17So, and then I asked confirmation. So,1:03:19what you're saying is again, it's not1:03:21that you're1:03:22don't mess with us or you don't support1:03:24Coral the Heart. He said, "No, I asked1:03:26you to start it. Why would I then tell1:03:28you I don't support you?" Right. Amen.1:03:30Okay. And I would confirm with him.1:03:33Okay, so then is it normal then for me1:03:36to feel this way? Absolutely, it is. But1:03:39you're only feeling that because you're1:03:41trying to you have This is why we're1:03:43having the conversation. You you're If1:03:46you're If you don't If you don't speak1:03:48to me, then Satan will speak for me,1:03:50right? And I'm like, "Right." So, we're1:03:52speaking. Only thing you have to do is1:03:54accept what I'm saying.1:03:55There are thoughts that are going to1:03:56tell you yes, that I don't care about1:03:58you. There are thoughts that are going1:04:00to tell you that, you know, you should1:04:01help me. Sure, but I'm telling you what1:04:03it is.1:04:04Are you going to acknowledge what I say?1:04:06Or are you going to sit there and1:04:07continuously trust your thoughts?" And I1:04:09said, "I will acknowledge what you say."1:04:10And I made the decision in my heart to1:04:12stamp that down and take what he said.1:04:14And there was no issue.1:04:16So, the whole point was me to confirm1:04:18with him.1:04:20But imagine if I didn't. Imagine if I1:04:22said, "Nah, bro, he never messed with1:04:24you in the first place. He didn't even1:04:26want to come to your LA live event, the1:04:27first one. He doesn't even want to hop1:04:29on your podcast. See, he never messed1:04:31with you."1:04:32Now, if I do that, I can spin that1:04:34narrative in my brain. And I can make1:04:36some pretty valid points.1:04:38But what would happen to our1:04:39relationship after that? Would I receive1:04:42guidance from him? No.1:04:44And if I can't receive guidance from1:04:45him, then what? Do you understand? These1:04:48little things you have to you have1:04:49to think about. But so many of us do the1:04:52same. Many of you guys went through this1:04:54with me here.1:04:55Right?1:04:56Oh my gosh, I'm a 2-year member. I'm a1:04:583-year member. How can you do this to1:05:00me? How can you draw the line with me? I1:05:03supported you. I I paid for that. I've1:05:05learned from you. You told me I'm1:05:06high-hearted.1:05:07Man, F you then. I knew it, man. I knew1:05:09you don't mess with me. I knew you just1:05:11wanted to use me for my money and this1:05:12and that. Like there's this heart1:05:15without actually having fellowship, then1:05:17you only listen to the enemy.1:05:19Do you guys understand what I'm saying?1:05:21Right? So, on a surface level, it can1:05:23look like pastor doesn't support me, but1:05:25no, that's not true.1:05:27He would never pour his time and energy1:05:29into me. He just drew a line and guess1:05:31what? I didn't like that line.1:05:33That's the real. He drew a line,1:05:36right? And1:05:38he said, "No." And honestly, I thought1:05:40about it. If he was like, "Hey,1:05:42respectfully, I don't I don't mess with1:05:44Core of the Heart." Let's say he says1:05:46that, which he never did. Why wouldn't I1:05:48respect that? Why does it have to be1:05:50like, "Oh, you don't mess with them."1:05:52Like, "Oh, well, they're my babies." You1:05:54get like, why? I could be like, "Okay.1:05:57Hey, I respect that. You said that to1:05:58me. You don't have to."1:06:00"Johnny, I don't I don't support certain1:06:02things that you do." Why wouldn't he be1:06:04able to say that to me if he's my if1:06:05he's my my leader?1:06:07Do you understand what I'm saying? Why?1:06:09Why does he have to support every single1:06:11thing that I do? No. And And it's not1:06:14That's not even the case. He supports1:06:15everything that I do, but I'm saying1:06:16why can't he have the God-given right to1:06:18go, "I don't agree with this." And we1:06:21can agree to disagree.1:06:23And this is where I draw the line.1:06:25He's absolutely entitled to that.1:06:27Why not? And so, what I realized was1:06:31Satan was was was, you know, putting a1:06:35heart inside of me.1:06:36And I was like, "Oh, God, you wanted to1:06:39expose that. Got you."1:06:41And he exposed it. And you don't like1:06:43what gets exposed, obviously. But if you1:06:45can acknowledge that, that's when things1:06:47change. This is my life's work and1:07:32the best way to make God a habit in your1:07:34life, and I can't wait to share it with1:07:36you guys.1:07:36>> This Sunday,1:07:38two days ago,1:07:39Pastor Kim came and he gave me a big He1:07:41didn't see me for a while cuz he was in1:07:42CLF, so1:07:44I don't know if you guys saw, but he1:07:45walked up to me and he gave me a really1:07:47big hug.1:07:48And he's like, "Oh, you okay, Johnny?"1:07:51I'm like, "Yeah, mom, okay."1:07:53He said, "Oh, I miss you. Hey, long time1:07:55no see."1:07:58I said he said, "Long time no see,"1:08:00right?1:08:01I was like, "Yeah."1:08:02"Oh, okay, okay, I go." I was like,1:08:04"Okay." So, he went over there and he1:08:05started to preach to you guys.1:08:07Right?1:08:08Right?1:08:09And so, you know,1:08:11I was able to kind of recognize like,1:08:13"Oh,1:08:15you know, that's just what it comes down1:08:17to at the end of the day."1:08:19Right? It's It's such a beautiful thing1:08:21to be able to see what Pastor1:08:23really like what his heart is, but also1:08:25like to be able to respect someone to1:08:27go, "You can make the decision if you1:08:29want. You don't have to edify me."1:08:31Right? I think that's what he's taught1:08:33me in so many ways.1:08:35Is I don't need to edify you.1:08:37Right? Just like I can sit there and go,1:08:39"I don't want to listen to you, Pastor."1:08:41He would have to respect that. What is1:08:43he going to do? Force me? Talk trash1:08:45about me?1:08:46No. He can go, "Okay, then I'm going to1:08:48leave that up to God." That's what a1:08:50real person of God does,1:08:52you know? Like y'all can draw a line.1:08:55I can draw a line.1:08:57We can all draw boundaries.1:08:59And we can even, you know, who's to say1:09:01that we have to even respect those1:09:03boundaries?1:09:04Right? But, we can respect that if we1:09:07don't agree, that's okay, too.1:09:09Right? That's that's something that's1:09:11Oh, it doesn't have to be you say you're1:09:12this, you said this to me, so I you have1:09:14to support what I say, and I have to1:09:17support what you say, and it's like,1:09:18"No, you don't have to."1:09:20If Paul can disagree with some of the1:09:22disciples like Peter and James, why not?1:09:24The disagreements isn't the issue, but1:09:27the core of the disagreement,1:09:29that's the issue.1:09:31Are you disagreeing because it doesn't1:09:33edify you? Then that's selfish.1:09:35Do you understand what I'm saying?1:09:37Paul never disagreed with someone1:09:39because they didn't listen to him.1:09:41Paul disagreed because it wasn't1:09:42gospel-centered.1:09:44Do you guys understand what I'm saying?1:09:47Because it wasn't gospel-centered.1:09:49He didn't sit there and go, "You didn't1:09:50make me you you Cuz I wasn't part of the1:09:5212, you're not listening to me?" He1:09:53didn't He didn't have that energy. He1:09:55was more like, "Hey, respectfully, it's1:09:56about the gospel. Mm, yeah, but there's1:09:59also an Okay, well, if that's the case,1:10:00you got to go your own way,1:10:01respectfully." Abraham and Lot did the1:10:03same thing.1:10:04So, there's not an issue with1:10:06disagreement. The issue is I need to be1:10:09edified.1:10:10And if you don't agree with that, then1:10:11you're my mortal enemy. No, that's just1:10:13To that, we say, "No."1:10:15You don't have to mess with us. You1:10:16don't have to mess with Core of the1:10:17Heart, respectfully.1:10:19But, the reasoning behind it would be,1:10:21"Johnny, if you're only about edifying1:10:23yourself, I can't respect Core of the1:10:25Heart." And I would have to respect1:10:26that.1:10:27"Johnny, if it's If you're only about1:10:28yourself now and making money, then I1:10:30don't want to respect that." And that1:10:31that he would be 100% right to that. He1:10:34In fact, he has to be obliged to do1:10:36that. He has to be like that.1:10:38Right?1:10:38Amen.1:10:39So, the reason why, right, Steven, you1:10:41ask all these questions, and the reason1:10:44why you can listen to me all day and not1:10:46read the Bible is because of what what1:10:48your heart is.1:10:49Right? The heart here,1:10:51uh, which is very clear, is I just want1:10:53unlocks.1:10:55So, of course,1:10:56when you sit there1:10:58and you only want unlocks, you're not1:11:01going to read the Bible.1:11:02Right?1:11:03And that's what I've been saying is the1:11:05listening aspect. Right? And that's why1:11:08Right? So, you're not going to read the1:11:09Bible. You're going to Why Why did Jesus1:11:11have to go to hell? Why was Why did1:11:12Virgin Mary had to like Like we see the1:11:14comments, right? But the issue here is1:11:16like we see the heart through the1:11:18comments.1:11:19So, the whole time I've been talking1:11:20about heart posture, when you speak you1:11:22leak,1:11:23these, you know, confirmations and these1:11:26little things.1:11:27Right? And so, don't Please don't get1:11:29frustrated. Like we just have to be able1:11:32to understand why why our heart posture1:11:35is like this.1:11:36And so, if you only read the Bible and1:11:38you only listen to people, again, I'll1:11:39reiterate this, just for the unlocks,1:11:42then like I said to everybody else here,1:11:45we will leave eventually.1:11:47Because the one thing about me is that I1:11:49will give unlocks, 100%, but I will1:11:51always tie it back to the gospel. And I1:11:53will always edify the gospel first. I1:11:56don't care what it is. Like it just has1:11:58to be that.1:11:59And I know that it gets boring. The1:12:02gospel gets boring for people.1:12:04But to to say that is really sad, too.1:12:07To say that is also How can the gospel1:12:09be boring? Do you understand what I'm1:12:11saying?1:12:12Right? Why does it matter that if it's a1:12:14virgin?1:12:15Why does it matter that, you know, he1:12:17had to go to hell and all the Like why1:12:19does any of that matter?1:12:21It only matters because you want to You1:12:23want the big brain stuff. Right? But if1:12:25I look at your life, you can't even1:12:27crack open the Bible to read it. Like1:12:29what does that tell me about your heart?1:12:31What does that tell me about your1:12:32spiritual life? It tells a lot. It says1:12:34a lot. Amen? And that's why I was1:12:37sitting here saying that it's not just1:12:38It's not just important to sit there and1:12:41listen to those things, right? It's1:12:43important to sit there and Right? Cuz1:12:45everyone in here is edifying themselves.1:12:47Aren't you guys tired of being selfish?1:12:49Like Like on I just want to be honest1:12:51here.1:12:52Aren't you like I I don't I don't think1:12:53so. Like I must say no. You say yes, I'm1:12:57going to say no.1:12:58Right? Like like this person, hey1:12:59Johnny, why do I get anxious thoughts1:13:01while I'm praying even when if I'm not1:13:02praying out loud? Does the enemy know1:13:03I'm praying even if I'm not praying out1:13:05loud? All of this is for self.1:13:07I mean respectfully, if we were to just1:13:09think about this and we were to think1:13:10about God. Let's let's take myself out1:13:11of it. Who gives a crap if I pray out1:13:14loud and the enemy can hear me? Can he1:13:15do anything by hearing me?1:13:17Like you must not know how strong God is1:13:19is what you're saying.1:13:21You could hear me all you want. Satan1:13:23hear whatever it is. You think you could1:13:25stop what God is going to predestine and1:13:28work? Are you are you like1:13:31like1:13:32are we that afraid? Respectfully, I'm1:13:34not trying to be mean but do do you guys1:13:36understand what I'm saying? Why does1:13:38that matter?1:13:39Right? Why?1:13:41Do you know why?1:13:42Because we have no faith. That's why.1:13:45Right?1:13:46So isn't it ironic as we're sitting here1:13:47and we're1:13:48we're trying to listen and we're trying1:13:50to speak and we're trying to unlock1:13:52that all it is is I don't really care1:13:54what you have to say.1:13:56I have anxiety.1:13:57Fix my anxiety. Explain to me why I have1:14:00anxiety and I am1:14:02I am explaining it from the very1:14:04foundation and the core.1:14:06Do you understand what I'm saying?1:14:08Right guys? I'm explaining it from the1:14:10core.1:14:11Amen.1:14:12Right?1:14:13But it's very difficult because1:14:16it's not about it's it's not even about1:14:18walking1:14:20long distances brothers and sisters.1:14:22It's not about you having your walk1:14:24and being you know1:14:26in your walk and baby Christian or not1:14:28Christian like that doesn't matter.1:14:30It's all about listening. It's all about1:14:33having the heart to hear.1:14:34Do you understand what I'm saying?1:14:36Like that's the number one thing.1:14:39I preface it with that is really it's so1:14:42difficult. I'm noticing for so many1:14:44people because we've been trained and1:14:46it's not fully your guys' fault, but1:14:48we've been trained to be the main1:14:49characters.1:14:51In our lives it's it's just the main1:14:53characters.1:14:54Right? We've just been taught in this1:14:56world that we are just the main1:14:58characters. And so the response to1:15:01people who are main characters when they1:15:03hear what I'm saying here is they want1:15:05is the natural need to defend yourself.1:15:07Have you guys noticed that? If if you1:15:10get pricked, then the natural thing is1:15:11no, well, I just want to get over my1:15:13anxiety. Like I'm just asking a1:15:14question. It's it's always this heart of1:15:16like1:15:17I need to defend because you're the main1:15:19character is what I'm saying. How come1:15:22it can't just be huh, interesting.1:15:25Okay, you're right. Actually, I I yeah,1:15:28I I genuinely just1:15:30Yeah, I want to I I I am selfish. Like1:15:33what's the problem with saying that?1:15:35Nothing.1:15:36But it is a problem if you have if you1:15:38have the main character energy.1:15:40Understand what I'm saying?1:15:42Right, exactly. And and thank you for1:15:43that. Right? Thank you. But but if1:15:46that's what I'm addressing here, Luke,1:15:48right? Is if we only think that way1:15:51then that's selective hearing.1:15:53Right? Then how are we going to gain1:15:55anything?1:15:57Right? Understand what I'm saying?1:15:59Understand?1:16:00Right? Even even this like Gabby always1:16:02asking these types of questions. Right?1:16:05Why can't God just reveal himself to1:16:06good people that do good? Or is God1:16:09waiting for the very last moment? Right?1:16:11It's like1:16:12again, for self.1:16:14Like do you guys understand what I'm1:16:15saying?1:16:16Right? It's not even no one is good.1:16:19You you can't tell someone who already1:16:20thinks they're good that no one is good.1:16:22That doesn't do anything.1:16:24Understand? So also that is1:16:25self-edification, right? So there's1:16:27levels to this, guys.1:16:29Right?1:16:30Amen. If someone is good, you can't tell1:16:32someone no one is good. They're going to1:16:33think you're stupid. They're going to be1:16:34but there is good in this world.1:16:36Like what do you mean? And doesn't God1:16:38say we're good if we're under him and1:16:39we're righteous and we're perfected? Now1:16:41now it becomes an argument. Right? But1:16:44But what I'm saying is you got to stick1:16:45to the point. Amen. Why does a Why does1:16:48she want God to reveal?1:16:50Why can't she trust that God won't1:16:52reveal himself? Right? Foundationally.1:16:55Right? There There's never a heart to1:16:56think that the whole point of this thing1:16:58was to think about others. It's always1:17:00I'm going to think about Gabby.1:17:02Okay. So, think about Gabby. That's1:17:04fine. But all I'm saying is1:17:07right?1:17:08If you think about this,1:17:10I mean, respectfully, like it's only for1:17:12yourself. So,1:17:14does it make sense then why we're going1:17:15to be miserable1:17:17and have all these questions?1:17:19Right?1:17:19Right? Even that God does reveal with1:17:21our very like it doesn't matter. That1:17:23That doesn't matter to people right now.1:17:24That's not going to answer her question.1:17:27We have to get to the root of the issue1:17:28here, brothers and sisters.1:17:30He does reveal. He does. Okay, but what1:17:32if she disagrees? She disagrees.1:17:35Understand what I'm saying?1:17:37Right, guys?1:17:38Right? So, the heart is I want to know1:17:40because I feel like I need to know.1:17:43And I want to know because it puts my1:17:45mind at ease. And I want to feel good.1:17:47That's what it is. Right? Exactly. I do1:17:50feel better when I do things for others1:17:51instead of my Exactly. The whole The The1:17:53whole premise is like I want to feel1:17:56good.1:17:57That's how it is. Do you guys understand1:17:59what I'm saying?1:18:00Like, okay, that's fine.1:18:02But like1:18:03the whole point is to think about God's1:18:05heart. Do you understand what I'm1:18:07saying?1:18:08That is the whole point, brothers and If1:18:10you If you If you want to be happy,1:18:12be happy. I'm telling you how to be1:18:14happy.1:18:15Think about God's heart. Right? If he1:18:17hasn't revealed himself, he has his1:18:19reasonings. Do you need to know? No.1:18:22If you If you needed to If you If he1:18:24felt like you needed to know, he would1:18:26have let you know already.1:18:27Do you guys understand what I'm saying?1:18:29Right? Like it's it Like think Like it's1:18:31a simple thought process, right? And I'm1:18:33not saying like you guys are like Why1:18:35would he not let you know?1:18:37Because you don't need to know.1:18:39Understand what I'm saying? Like it's1:18:40it's it's is that can we accept that?1:18:44That's the that's the part that we don't1:18:45even think to that perspective. We think1:18:48what? It's a question. Why won't he just1:18:50reveal it to me? Right, but have you1:18:52thought about exactly why won't he just1:18:54reveal it to you? That's the whole1:18:55point. Like1:18:57that's that's what he's trying to get us1:18:59to to do is to go why aren't you doing1:19:01that? So asking why is not a bad thing.1:19:04But you then have to think about the1:19:06why. You can't just go1:19:09So the question wasn't why doesn't he1:19:11reveal people to to to you know, why1:19:12doesn't he reveal himself to good1:19:14people?1:19:15It's really a statement. It's I'm good,1:19:18so show me at least me. Like dang, you1:19:20don't have to show anybody else, but at1:19:21least show it to me.1:19:22I think I'm doing okay.1:19:24Why like1:19:25just show yourself to me.1:19:27I'll feel better.1:19:28Now when you think about it in that way1:19:31then it's a little bit different, right?1:19:32It's kind of ordering God around. Right?1:19:34So then how can we say we're good people1:19:37if we order God around? That's that's1:19:40that's how you get to this position.1:19:42Amen.1:19:43Right? It's it's not hard. Like again,1:19:45the questions are never never bad.1:19:47They're never bad.1:19:48Understand what I'm saying?1:19:50Certain people again don't know how to1:19:52to process and just leak everything that1:19:54they say. And that's not a problem1:19:56either. That's actually better for us.1:19:58It just shows me who you are, right? And1:20:00and and that's good. That then makes me1:20:02go and pray. That then makes me realize1:20:04how miserable you actually are.1:20:06And I'm not trying to say this to be1:20:07mean. If you trust yourself you're going1:20:10to be miserable.1:20:12Like flat out. You're you're not going1:20:14to be happy. Do you guys understand what1:20:16I'm saying?1:20:17Right? Makes sense? No, not at all. I'm1:20:20not concerned with you know, putting a1:20:23spotlight on edification.1:20:25Uh because expressing yourself freely is1:20:27probably not the best thing to do.1:20:29Right?1:20:30Makes sense?1:20:32Um because the whole point is you're not1:20:34supposed to share with people1:20:36specifically.1:20:37You're supposed to share your heart with1:20:38God. Right? So, so when we dissect what1:20:41you're saying, right? Foundationally,1:20:43are you concerned that although the1:20:45person that the point is to put a1:20:46spotlight on notification, it may1:20:48prevent people in the community from1:20:49expressing themselves freely? As a1:20:51newbie, it almost feels I may have to1:20:53rethink a thought that I may never share1:20:55for fear of how it will be interpreted,1:20:57right? So, that's again,1:20:59it's a quid pro quo uh transactional1:21:02mindset, and I'll explain why.1:21:04Right?1:21:05Because you're afraid that I'll1:21:07interpret it incorrectly. But, where is1:21:09God in all of this though? Is all I'm1:21:11asking. So, let's say that that's 100%1:21:14correct. Do you believe that God would1:21:17then bring the proper interpretation?1:21:20Do you have faith that God will reveal1:21:22the things that are true either way,1:21:24whether it gets misconstrued or not?1:21:26Right? That's That's the part that's1:21:28lacking.1:21:30Do you understand what I'm saying?1:21:30Newbie or not, why can't we believe1:21:33that, just like I have faith that what1:21:35I'm saying to you guys will land either1:21:37way, even if it pisses you off or not?1:21:40That's why I say what I say.1:21:42There's a difference between people who1:21:44are like, "Well, I want to sit there and1:21:46I want people to hear me accurately."1:21:48And I'm not being reckless with it.1:21:51Right?1:21:51You understand what I'm saying? I1:21:52understand the concern that obviously,1:21:55you know, you want people to freely1:21:56express themselves. However, what I'm1:21:59doing foundationally is to recognize1:22:00that people are only freely expressing1:22:03themselves. That's the problem.1:22:05They only care about what they feel and1:22:08themselves.1:22:09So, would you want to enable? We can1:22:11also flip it on that side.1:22:13I'm afraid to enable people to only talk1:22:16about their hearts, hearts that are1:22:17deceitful, hearts that they're not fully1:22:19clear about. That's also dangerous,1:22:22because then this becomes a smorgasbord1:22:24of just people with their opinions.1:22:27And what we do know is there has to be1:22:28an absolute truth, which is the gospel.1:22:31Right? It's just clear. Like it had the1:22:34through line has to be the gospel. It1:22:35can't be what this interpret cuz if1:22:37that's the case, that will bleed into1:22:38everything else.1:22:40Now, for people who've never really led1:22:41people,1:22:42who haven't shepherd and stewarded, it's1:22:44easy for them to say, "Yeah, freely1:22:46expose." Like I I've done this before1:22:48where I led a Bible class. I'll give you1:22:50an example, right? And it was with1:22:51nothing but influencers.1:22:53And I ran it a specific program.1:22:55And I got it up to 100 people in a1:22:57building. We were down there breaking1:22:59building code. It was bad.1:23:02And so, when I was teaching, obviously1:23:03they couldn't really challenge cuz I'm1:23:05I'm studied. I'm learned.1:23:07These are influencers, by the way.1:23:09Famous people, early on, right? And1:23:12one person felt the same way. "Hey, I1:23:15feel like it's always just Johnny1:23:16talking. And how do we know if Johnny is1:23:18right?" So, do you know what I did? The1:23:21next class, I let them run it. I didn't1:23:23say anything.1:23:24Do you understand what I'm saying?1:23:25Right?1:23:26Make sense?1:23:27Right? So,1:23:29when I think about this, right? I was1:23:31able to explain to to them, "Okay, you1:23:32run it." So, the guy ran it. Right?1:23:35And when he ran it, guess who showed up?1:23:38Two people for part of the LGBTQ1:23:40community.1:23:41Right?1:23:42They showed up. They were also1:23:43influencers. And they said, "Hey, we1:23:45heard that this was what" and you know,1:23:46he he invited his friends and two of1:23:48them were that. In the end, do you know1:23:50what happened, sister?1:23:52They said, "If God is love, and we love1:23:55each other, and it's real love, we don't1:23:58we're not sinning. We do it out of love.1:23:59We're we're technically married,1:24:02and marriage is biblical.1:24:04So,1:24:05I mean, if God is love, and it's and1:24:07they quoted the scripture, first first1:24:09John chapter 4,1:24:11right?1:24:12And and this guy was leading the Bible.1:24:14I didn't say anything. I let him lead1:24:15cuz I know when to step down and shut1:24:16up. I just do.1:24:18And do you know what he said?1:24:20Respectfully, yeah, you're right. God is1:24:22love. and I think in in my opinion, I I1:24:25have faith that God will honor that1:24:27love. And they were like crying. This is1:24:29the Bible This is what we needed in1:24:31Bible class. We knew it. This is This is1:24:32the guidance that we needed. Right? And1:24:35right there, it caused a divide.1:24:37Right there, it caused a divide. People1:24:39got came up and came up to me and got1:24:41mad at me.1:24:42Why, Johnny? Why would you allow this to1:24:45happen? They started flipping out on1:24:46him. He got angry at them. But God is1:24:49love. He's defending his point. But is1:24:51he defending God's love? No. He got mad1:24:54because they they flipped on him, and1:24:56now he's defending his ego and pride.1:24:58Understand? It took one Bible class to1:25:01do this.1:25:02It took one Bible class to do this.1:25:04And that was somebody going, in my1:25:06opinion, I'm going to edify and speak1:25:08about myself. Right? Which answers the1:25:10question. Right? People are imperfect. I1:25:13have a personal relationship with God,1:25:14but community is important, and guidance1:25:15helps process thoughts we may not1:25:17otherwise be able to receive insight1:25:19into. Right? And that's what I'm doing1:25:21here. Right? Understand? That's what it1:25:24is. So, I'm explaining what the1:25:27scripture says, right? About our1:25:29thoughts. I'm explaining how to disciple1:25:31people,1:25:32right? Understand?1:25:34And1:25:36we make statements, sure, but we address1:25:38these types of things foundationally.1:25:40Right? Like I I I can't Like even me,1:25:43right? I have to also1:25:46watch what I say, right? As you had1:25:48mentioned, Evon, you You say people are1:25:50imperfect. I don't want to debate you on1:25:52that, but I know scripture that says1:25:54that that's not true.1:25:55You say you have a personal relationship1:25:57with God. I can test that right now, but1:25:59I know it's going to make you feel some1:26:01type of way.1:26:02So, what do I do then? By gaining your1:26:04heart, I say, "I'm not the Amen. That's1:26:06fine." Do you understand what I'm1:26:07saying? Right?1:26:09You say that community is important.1:26:11Absolutely. But why is it important?1:26:13Because of the gospel.1:26:15And the guidance helps process thoughts1:26:17we may not otherwise be able to receive1:26:18insight into. That's the insight that1:26:20I'm talking about. Is that all thoughts1:26:23are thoughts that are going to go1:26:24against things. We have to bring the1:26:25word.1:26:26We don't sit there and operate1:26:28positionally off of fear.1:26:30Right? And what's the issue with saying1:26:32something and it needs to be corrected?1:26:34So really the underlying heart is this.1:26:37I don't want my heart to be interpreted1:26:39incorrectly. But you don't even know1:26:40your heart. That's what I'm trying to1:26:42say. So how how do you know it'll be1:26:44interpreted incorrectly?1:26:46Do you understand what I'm saying? We1:26:47don't know our own heart postures. If1:26:49you if it it it you can't make you have1:26:51to make that make sense to me. To go I'm1:26:54imperfect but I know my heart. How can1:26:57you know your imperfect heart if it's1:26:58imperfect? And if you do know that it's1:27:00imperfect, why then do we have to care1:27:03about expressing an imperfect thing?1:27:05It's imperfect anyways. Rather we should1:27:07just hear it out, right? So in this way1:27:09like even though we say those things, we1:27:11don't really believe those things. What1:27:13this comes down to1:27:15is1:27:16I want everyone to hear me out and I1:27:18want a1:27:19place where I don't want people to1:27:23misunderstand me.1:27:25But you already misunderstand you.1:27:27How can you articulate that correctly if1:27:29the Bible says that we're like that? Do1:27:31you understand what I'm saying?1:27:33This two things can happen when I say1:27:35this.1:27:36It can callous your heart which makes1:27:38you go, "Oh my gosh, he's attacking me.1:27:40That's not right." Or it can go, "Hmm,1:27:42that's kind of true because the Bible1:27:44says that." Only two things will happen.1:27:46So if you feel any pit in your heart1:27:48getting frustrated or1:27:49talk that first. Don't try to spin it to1:27:52like another thing. You get you you you1:27:53get what I'm saying? It has to be1:27:54straight about that.1:27:56Amen. Now I understand like trust me, I1:27:59understand that there's new people in1:28:00here.1:28:01Amen. Right? Amen. Thank you. So no no I1:28:03was saying that only two hearts will1:28:05happen. I'm not saying you think so.1:28:07Right? I'm saying there's two hearts1:28:09that can happen.1:28:10Right again. When I talk about the1:28:12receptive aspect of it, right?1:28:15Uh I appreciate you trying to clarify,1:28:17but I'm trying to clarify beforehand,1:28:20right?1:28:21Because it's it's something that gets1:28:23misconstrued in terms of tonality,1:28:25right? But at the end of the day,1:28:28I think I think what you guys have to1:28:30realize, and some of you guys may share1:28:31what she's saying. She's And I1:28:32appreciate that she opened that heart.1:28:34But what I'm sharing with foundationally1:28:37is not to sit here and and say you have1:28:40things. Like someone who taught you you1:28:42have to express yourself correctly,1:28:44what you guys don't realize is I will1:28:46answer it positionally, foundationally,1:28:48before you express it,1:28:50right? That sounds arrogant to people1:28:51who don't know heart posture.1:28:53But we literally answer things1:28:55positionally, foundationally.1:28:58Do you guys understand what I'm saying?1:28:59Like I just did earlier,1:29:01right?1:29:02If I'm an imperfect person,1:29:04how will I know my heart posture1:29:06perfectly?1:29:07Right? Let let let's bring this up,1:29:09right? Let's bring this up. So, when you1:29:12look at Jeremiah 17:9, read it carefully1:29:15with me. The heart is deceitful above1:29:17all things, desperately wicked, who can1:29:19know it? So so when I bring1:29:22let's bring let's exegete this, right?1:29:24The heart, which is lev, which is not1:29:26just your heart, but your feelings and1:29:28and your emotions and your deep-rooted1:29:29container that holds all of these1:29:31things. That's what the Hebrew word for1:29:33is. Is deceitful. What does deceitful1:29:35mean? It's a liar.1:29:37Above all things, meaning the top liar.1:29:40So, it's the top liar.1:29:42And desperately wicked, but the last1:29:44part is really important. Who can know1:29:45it? If someone goes, "Hey Johnny, when1:29:48is the baptism at Arizona going to end?"1:29:50And I go, "Who knows?" Like, who can1:29:52know that? I don't know. That means I1:29:54don't know.1:29:55So, let me ask you guys something. Do1:29:56you guys know your guys' heart posture1:29:58accurately?1:30:00Do you know that even though you're1:30:01feeling what you're feeling right now,1:30:02that it's true or not?1:30:04Even if you're feeling it exactly to1:30:05100% to the T,1:30:07Is that the truth? According to the1:30:09Bible, not necessarily. It's deceiving1:30:11you.1:30:12When you lost your virginity to that1:30:13man, when you you know, when you chose1:30:15your career path, you were 100% certain1:30:18that's what you wanted to do. Otherwise,1:30:19you wouldn't do those things.1:30:21You guys don't just aimlessly do things.1:30:23But what changed?1:30:25What happened? Because the heart is1:30:26deceitful. That's proof.1:30:28Do you guys understand what I'm saying?1:30:30Right?1:30:31Make sense? So, the the Bible is very1:30:33clear. It's like, "Yo, you don't know1:30:36yourself." Now, if I say that to you,1:30:37you're going to get Most people get1:30:39angry. Most people, not everybody. Most1:30:41people go, "What do you mean? You don't1:30:42know me. You don't know me. So, are you1:30:44saying you know me through a little1:30:45screen on an internet? Like, what do you1:30:47No, I'm saying1:30:49if you hear what I'm saying,1:30:51I'm saying the Bible says so.1:30:53That's what it says.1:30:55Understand?1:30:56So,1:30:57people1:30:59tend to do that, right? So, let me ask1:31:01you guys a question.1:31:02If we're imperfect people,1:31:04that is a true thing,1:31:06right?1:31:07But, what does an imperfect person do to1:31:10become perfect then?1:31:12Not believe in themselves and lean on1:31:14God. What does that mean?1:31:16What does that mean? It means lean not1:31:18on your own understanding,1:31:20but in all ways lean on God. That's how1:31:22you become perfect, right? You trust the1:31:25word above what you think and feel.1:31:28So, positionally, when you come with1:31:30this question, let's say, and this is1:31:31just for clarity, right?1:31:33Don't you think it will discourage1:31:36people to say I'm paraphrasing here.1:31:38Don't you think it would discourage1:31:39people from sharing their hearts for1:31:41fear of being misunderstood or1:31:43misinterpreted? Right?1:31:45First and foremost,1:31:47if you knew the Bible, you know that1:31:48that's going to happen already anyways.1:31:51Because my heart is deceitful, your1:31:53heart is deceitful, and we're coming to1:31:55have a dialogue. Then immediately the1:31:57thought comes up, then what's the point1:31:58of having dialogue then? The point is to1:32:01point it back to the gospel. Not point1:32:03it back to fear of me being1:32:05misunderstood.1:32:07Do you understand now?1:32:09That's why I said everything has to1:32:10point back to the gospel.1:32:12So, if I'm here and I'm talking about1:32:14the gospel and people are afraid of1:32:16being misunderstood, are they focusing1:32:19on the gospel? No, they're not. They're1:32:21focusing on their feelings and how they1:32:23look like and their perception of others1:32:26in front of others, being perceived by1:32:28others. That's the wrong focus anyways.1:32:32So, with people like that, we'll go a1:32:34little deeper. They're not going to be1:32:36able to hear the message anyways,1:32:38because their perception is what matters1:32:40more than the gospel.1:32:41How they're perceived, their answers1:32:43being answered correctly, that's what's1:32:46going to matter more than the gospel1:32:47anyways. So, then how do I fix that? By1:32:51talking about the gospel and talking1:32:53about things like this foundationally.1:32:56Are you guys like clocking what I'm1:32:58saying here?1:32:59Do you Do you guys understand what I'm1:33:00saying?1:33:01Right?1:33:02So, if I come in here and and I'll and1:33:04I'll run a scenario.1:33:06Hey guys, I really like Johnny's1:33:08message, but I don't like his tonality.1:33:10Do I really care about the message or am1:33:12I focused on the tonality? Which one?1:33:15Right?1:33:16Do you understand?1:33:17Makes sense?1:33:18Right? Right.1:33:19Again, thank you for saying that, right?1:33:21That's That's 100% I agree. I agree. I1:33:24don't know me entirely. I also think a1:33:26person's intentions can be pure. I'm not1:33:28I'm sorry, but I don't understand.1:33:29Right. And it's also because you haven't1:33:31read the Bible.1:33:32Right? That's why. Like fully and1:33:33contextually, which again, is not an1:33:35attack on your character.1:33:37It's not to make you, you know, it's1:33:39because you just haven't read the Bible.1:33:41Right? If you realize what the Bible1:33:43says, you'll realize that no one has1:33:45pure intentions.1:33:46I can break down the scripture for you.1:33:49Right? When you look at Psalm 58:3,1:33:51right?1:33:53When you look at Psalm 14:2-3 as well,1:33:56it's very clear about pure intentions.1:33:59Pure intention is is subjective because1:34:01that's what you think.1:34:02Right? Like you said, I also think,1:34:04right? So, when I I will always take1:34:06what you guys say. I'm not going to1:34:08uh assume what you say. You said, I also1:34:11think a person's intentions can be pure.1:34:13But, that's not what the Bible says.1:34:15Read it carefully. The wicked are1:34:17estranged from the womb from the They go1:34:19astray from the womb. They go astray as1:34:21soon as they be born speaking lies. That1:34:23doesn't make sense. That's why it takes1:34:25faith to believe that. Babies are born1:34:27in a way where they speak lies. That's1:34:29what the Bible says.1:34:31So, do they have pure intentions? No, if1:34:32a liar doesn't have pure intentions.1:34:34Number two,1:34:35the Lord looked down from heaven upon1:34:37the children of men. Children, by the1:34:39way, kids of men. To see if they were1:34:42any There were any that did understand1:34:44and seek God. So, they did understand1:34:46and seek God. Right? He wants to see.1:34:49They are all All means everybody. If I1:34:51If If I say all you can eat, that means1:34:53you can eat everything on the menu,1:34:54right? So, all everyone has gone aside.1:34:58They are all together become filthy.1:35:00Everyone's filthy. There is none that1:35:02doeth good, no, not one.1:35:04Right?1:35:04So,1:35:05does that match with what I feel and1:35:07think?1:35:09No.1:35:10And that's why Isaiah 55:8 is very1:35:12clear.1:35:13What does it say?1:35:15Right? It doesn't match what I say. I1:35:17think babies are born pure, myself1:35:18included. I don't think I think I seek1:35:20God, and I feel like I try to understand1:35:23God. But, if the Bible says this, I just1:35:25got to like think about it. Who's right?1:35:27And this is why I love, right?1:35:31the gospel. It says, "For my thoughts1:35:33This is God speaking, Jehovah are not1:35:35your thoughts. Neither are your ways my1:35:37ways, saith the Lord." The Lord says so.1:35:41When I learned this, I realized why I1:35:43keep telling people You You You start to1:35:45understand why I say we're not good1:35:47people. I don't know any of you guys1:35:50on that level. Respectfully, I don't.1:35:52How can I say you're not a good person?1:35:54Because the Bible says so. But a person1:35:56who thinks they're good will do two1:35:59things. They will feel attacked or they1:36:01will feel the way that you're feeling,1:36:02which is, but don't you think that it1:36:04would be kind of misconstrued? You're1:36:06telling everyone they're evil, but then1:36:07they're also like Jesus made them happy1:36:09and good like and righteous. So what the1:36:10hell are you talking about? Like it1:36:12becomes this, right? So it's very1:36:14difficult, but it's it's the center line1:36:16is this.1:36:18I don't really agree with the Bible.1:36:20So when a person like me only speaks1:36:22about the Bible, you're not going to1:36:23agree with me either.1:36:25Does that make sense?1:36:26Like it's it's it's just going to be1:36:27like that. So it's not about a fear of1:36:30interpretation. Really what it is is1:36:34this doesn't match me.1:36:36So if it doesn't match me,1:36:38I mean, I got to kind of like1:36:41filter that a little bit. And that's1:36:43exactly what I'm addressing today.1:36:46Right? Is why we shouldn't have to1:36:49listen, why we have to study, why we1:36:51have to distrust our thoughts, why we1:36:53have to disregard certain things.1:36:55Because we don't really know. We think1:36:58we know.1:36:59That's the problem.1:37:01And I think that's a good intention. I1:37:03don't think you have evil intentions. I1:37:04don't think anyone in here has evil1:37:05intentions.1:37:07But again, not good good intention is1:37:08not God intention. Everything starts1:37:11with good intention. Anybody been1:37:12divorced here?1:37:13Several of you guys.1:37:15Did you intend to have a divorce when1:37:17you put both of your families together?1:37:19Sat there and celebrated and toasted and1:37:22drank and was like, hey honey, in 51:37:24years, 10 years, 7 years, 3 years, 21:37:26years, we're going to leave and1:37:27embarrass ourselves and we're going to1:37:28and we're going to have everybody sit1:37:30there and say all of these things about1:37:32us. Like no, no one does that.1:37:34Everything starts with good intention.1:37:36Understand what I'm saying? Amen. No, I1:37:39don't I didn't say good, just said that1:37:41I believe my intentions are pure, right?1:37:44Pure is good, by the way. We're hiring,1:37:45guys. Core of the heart is hiring, but1:37:47listen carefully. We're not just1:37:49building a company, we're building one1:37:51of the fastest growing Christian1:37:52communities in the world. In just a year1:37:54and a half, this community has grown to1:37:55over 3 million strong, and we're nowhere1:37:58near done. Our mission is simple, but1:37:59massive. Our criteria is1:38:15simple. Don't show us what you could do,1:38:17show us what you've already mastered.1:38:18Like, if you want to be the short-form1:38:20editor, show me the millions of views1:38:21you've gotten on short form. If you want1:38:23to be the podcast producer, show me the1:38:24shows that you've successfully produced.1:38:26We've learned the hard way not to hire1:38:27off potential. We just want to hire off1:38:29of pure experience. People who have1:38:31already proven that they can perform at1:38:32their skill set at the highest level. We1:38:34have jobs available in many different1:38:36departments. Media and content, live1:38:38events, and marketing. We also have1:38:40remote jobs and LA-based jobs available.1:38:42If you're an A-player that has mastered1:38:44their craft and wants to do something1:38:45that glorifies God, then please head to1:38:47the link in our description and check1:38:49out the job board. And lastly, if you're1:38:51an absolute beast at something and you1:38:52don't see it on the job board, please1:38:54reach out. I mean, you know, you might1:38:55be able to do it for us, it might work1:38:57out. So, if you're amazing at something,1:38:58you don't see the perfect job1:38:59description, just reach out. Tell us1:39:01what you're good at, maybe it'll work.1:39:02Genuinely, I can't do this without a1:39:03team. So, I'm very thankful for anyone1:39:05who supports the mission. I look forward1:39:07to hearing from you guys.1:39:08>> Uh I have I have read the Bible. I can't1:39:10say I understand it. I accept it as you1:39:12suggested. I'm trying to follow what1:39:14you're saying, and it seems conflicting1:39:15in my mind, still trying to process,1:39:17right? So, you So, it's because you1:39:18can't see it accurately, is what I mean.1:39:20It's because you're good.1:39:21Understand?1:39:22Right? So, so there's a little bit of a1:39:24contradiction there, and and I'll point1:39:25it out why.1:39:27You said1:39:28that you have read the Bible, and you1:39:29can't say that you understand it. You1:39:31say you accept it.1:39:33Right? So, what's the conflict here when1:39:36it says that we're evil and we're wicked1:39:38and we're born evil that you you you say1:39:40you accept the Bible, but you're also1:39:41saying that it's conflicting your mind1:39:43and you're still trying to process. You1:39:44see?1:39:45So, what I'm trying to say is1:39:47you're trying to dumb it down. That1:39:48That's why I said we think we're good.1:39:50Because it has to make sense to you.1:39:53That's what you're basically saying.1:39:54Does that make sense?1:39:56Like it has to make sense to you. That's1:39:58why there's a conflict here.1:39:59Understand what I'm saying?1:40:01Right. And And but what I said was the1:40:03was I quoted 1 2 3 What was it? Four1:40:06Bible scriptures? So, that's That's what1:40:09I was talking about. Amen.1:40:11Right? And And there's now this1:40:13backpedaling, right? What you're saying1:40:15is conflicting my mind. Right, but what1:40:16I What I just did was actually the1:40:17scripture. So, what I said was what the1:40:19Bible said.1:40:20Amen. Cuz there's now this feeling1:40:22generating, if you think about it. I can1:40:24see it. Where it's like, "Dang, if I do1:40:26this, that means I don't accept the1:40:28Bible."1:40:29But if you were to just recognize that I1:40:31don't accept the Bible, that's where we1:40:33would we would we would meet that at the1:40:34common ground. But in order to say that,1:40:36that would mean you're a bad person.1:40:38That's the problem that we can't get1:40:40over right now.1:40:41This is called heart posture.1:40:43Do you understand what I'm saying?1:40:44That's the That's the portion that if1:40:46you recognize, "Oh my gosh, I don't and1:40:48he's only talking about the Bible and1:40:49he's conflicting me, then that means I1:40:51don't accept the Bible. That means I'm a1:40:53bad person." But I never said that. Do1:40:55you understand? It's just we are people1:40:57that are like this. It's just how it is.1:41:00Right? Again, going back to the point of1:41:01what I was saying.1:41:03If we follow1:41:05only when we agree or only when it makes1:41:07sense to us,1:41:08understand what I'm saying?1:41:10Then we're going to1:41:12uh1:41:13become our own We'll become like this.1:41:15And we'll even be like, "Johnny, it's1:41:17you who's confusing me. And God is not1:41:19an author of confusion." It's like, "No,1:41:21it's very clear.1:41:23It's very clear what the Bible is1:41:24saying, but it's difficult. It's1:41:25difficult for us to accept it when we1:41:27That's why I said, guys, when we're good1:41:29people, this is what happens."1:41:32Understand what I'm saying?1:41:33Amen. I'm just trying LOL I'm just1:41:36trying to say stay with the question and1:41:38maybe it went sideways. That wasn't my1:41:39intention. Right. And even if it was1:41:42your intention, that's okay, is what I'm1:41:43saying.1:41:44Make sense? Like that that that's what1:41:46I'm saying about the goodness, right?1:41:48But I don't think you can hear what I'm1:41:50saying. So that's okay. That's okay.1:41:52Amen. It's just It's just how it is. But1:41:55anyways, staying here, it's okay. Um we1:41:57we are people who genuinely um are are1:42:01just good people.1:42:02And when you're good, you can't hear1:42:04what I'm saying.1:42:05Understand? So we we can say we're1:42:08imperfect, but we don't know ourselves1:42:09accurately.1:42:11Understand what I'm saying?1:42:12Right? That's just what it is.1:42:14Amen.1:42:15Right?1:42:16And I'm And I'm answering that.1:42:18Right? So when you say, "So Johnny, how1:42:20can I start caring about unlocks and1:42:22stop stop caring about unlocks?1:42:24I start reading my Bible today like1:42:25right now as the main stage ends."1:42:27Because we're good. Right? Like Like I1:42:29said,1:42:30what why everything stems from us being1:42:33good, it's kind of a hard concept to1:42:34understand.1:42:35Right?1:42:36But1:42:38um1:42:38Right?1:42:39Shows again how people just don't1:42:41listen.1:42:43Right, guys?1:42:44Right? When we're good people, let's1:42:45say,1:42:47right? It's difficult for us to unlearn1:42:51the things that are already1:42:53inside of us. It's hard to let go of1:42:55those things.1:42:56Amen. I know. I I I spoke about it for1:42:5810 seconds. So I let me Give me a little1:43:00bit of time1:43:01so that it can click.1:43:03You're a good person.1:43:04So you but you feel like you deserve1:43:07unlocks.1:43:08That's why when I'm speaking, you're not1:43:10listening to what I have to say because1:43:12that's not good to you.1:43:14So a good person only care about what's1:43:15good to them.1:43:17Make sense?1:43:18So even though I'm giving like this deep1:43:20revelation, it's it's not anything to1:43:22you in your opinion. Good people are1:43:24very opinionated, if you notice. They1:43:27are It's always, "I don't do that. I1:43:28don't I I don't agree with that. I don't1:43:30care." It's this type of heart, right?1:43:32And so, when I'm saying something, it1:43:35and it doesn't peak your interest1:43:36because you're good, you just write it1:43:38off. But people who are truly believing1:43:41in the Bible, they know that they're1:43:42wicked. So then they hear everything.1:43:45Like Paul, he was very good at this. He1:43:48knew he was a chief sinner. He knew that1:43:50he was wicked from the core.1:43:53And so that's why he could listen to1:43:54everybody. He knew like, I don't really1:43:56got it like that, so I got to learn from1:43:58people.1:43:59He didn't understand like people don't1:44:01understand that heart. They all think1:44:03like, I know something about something.1:44:06He's like, I know nothing at all. He1:44:08says it in 1 Corinthians 2.1:44:10He doesn't know anything and by the1:44:11grace of him, which is God, I am I am1:44:14what I am. I receive grace for this. I'm1:44:17not a good person. I persecuted the1:44:19church. He knows that clearly and1:44:21accurately. He doesn't just say it. He1:44:22understands that.1:44:24So much so that when God gave him a1:44:26thorn on his side,1:44:28he didn't complain. He went to him three1:44:30times and was like, okay, I guess I'm1:44:31going to die with this. And he literally1:44:33died with it. He accepted it. Because he1:44:35knows, I deserve this and much more.1:44:37Now, how many of us have that heart? We1:44:40don't really have that heart,1:44:41respectfully.1:44:42So it's it's more of like, I get you,1:44:45but even the question of like, how do I1:44:47read my Bible right now? It's just to1:44:49edify yourself.1:44:51Cuz you feel like if you read the Bible,1:44:53then that's what's going to make you1:44:54closer to God and validate it in front1:44:56of God, right? But that's not what it1:44:58is. What makes you validated by God is1:45:00you believing that he already validated1:45:02you.1:45:03That's what's going to make you read the1:45:04Bible.1:45:05It's going to You won't read out of1:45:07fear. You won't read out of frustration.1:45:09You won't read out of I need to show1:45:11myself. You will read because you're1:45:12like, wow, God, you are literally1:45:15validating me.1:45:16You validated me. I want to know why you1:45:19validated me. I'm going to read the1:45:20Bible. I want to know why you treat me1:45:22this way. Why you love a person like me1:45:24who doesn't care about anybody else but1:45:25myself. I want to find your heart. I1:45:27want to search your heart. That's what's1:45:29going to make you read the Bible. Do you1:45:30understand what I'm saying? But you're1:45:32trying to tell me, "How do I hold on to1:45:34my heart and still read this Bible so I1:45:36could feel good about myself?"1:45:38Because you think you deserve to feel1:45:40good is what I'm saying.1:45:42Understand what I'm saying?1:45:44And that's what I'm saying to you.1:45:45Right?1:45:46Understand? So, yeah, it's if it's not1:45:48fear, it's not fear, but what I'm saying1:45:50is1:45:51that's why you're not able to read it.1:45:54Right?1:45:55You guys think you're good. That's the1:45:56problem.1:45:57Flat out. Like, but what is good inside1:46:00of your life? You can't even read the1:46:01Bible.1:46:02I'mma just say it like that. I'm sorry,1:46:04but it's really true.1:46:06You think you're good. The sister, the1:46:08brother, you guys think you're good.1:46:09Even in here, all of you guys.1:46:11Every single one of us struggles with1:46:12this. Every single one of us. We1:46:13struggle with it.1:46:15We think we're great.1:46:16Understand what I'm saying? Right? You1:46:18don't need to just hear it, you need to1:46:19believe it. Like, even if you do that,1:46:21just mark my words, you're still not1:46:23going to believe it. Do you know why?1:46:25Because good people have that issue.1:46:27They have that issue of like,1:46:30"I want to get it cuz I want to feel1:46:31edified." You You just want to read the1:46:33Bible so that you could feel good about1:46:35yourself. That's the whole point.1:46:36Understand what I'm saying? That's what1:46:38it is. And if you disagree, then you1:46:39disagree. Remember, you asked me the1:46:41question.1:46:42Right? Is what I'm saying.1:46:44Like, that's what it is. We want to1:46:45preach the gospel so we can feel good.1:46:47We want to We want to We want a wife1:46:49because so that we can feel good. We1:46:51Everything is for self, guys.1:46:53Once you realize that, what do you1:46:55actually deserve? Understand what I'm1:46:57saying?1:46:58Right? That's not true, Obito,1:46:59respectfully. Right? Especially for1:47:02someone like you.1:47:03I'm just going to be real.1:47:05You know, I got to be real, right?1:47:06Especially for someone like you.1:47:08Right? You You 100% think you're good.1:47:10Like, better than a lot of people.1:47:13Do you know why? Cuz of the interaction1:47:14of what just happened earlier.1:47:16So, when that person laughed at you,1:47:18let's say,1:47:19if you were evil and wicked, that's the1:47:21whole point. They should laugh you.1:47:23Do you understand? But why you say I1:47:24don't care about your opinion anyways? I1:47:26don't Why you get mad?1:47:27Do you know why you get mad? Cuz you're1:47:28good.1:47:30I don't deserve this. They should put1:47:31some respect on my name. But good people1:47:33get respected. Understand what I'm1:47:35saying?1:47:36Right?1:47:37Understand?1:47:38You didn't really go hard on them and1:47:39you're trying to troll, so you should1:47:40stop it. Okay? You two are very good.1:47:43You see what I'm saying, guys?1:47:44The sarcasm and all that like we don't1:47:46even realize what it is. This is how1:47:48things get messed up.1:47:50Right? To to all the other cot members1:47:52who actually listen, let me apologize1:47:54for you guys.1:47:55Like I I just have to apologize. How1:47:57much you guys have to deal with people1:47:59who come in and think that they're good.1:48:00I really do respect you guys for that.1:48:03I know it's for you guys, too.1:48:05But there there are people who are1:48:06submitted in here. And you guys have to1:48:08hear me constantly go at it with these1:48:09people who literally don't know1:48:11themselves. I'm so sorry.1:48:13Like it's it's it's horrible. It's1:48:15horrible that you guys have to deal with1:48:16that and I know that. I know that. Okay?1:48:19But there's sometimes I have to fight1:48:20for other people cuz they don't even1:48:21fight for themselves.1:48:23Understand? They'll sit there and1:48:24they'll get frustrated. That's just how1:48:26it is. I apologize, guys.1:48:28Amen. Right? And I say this because they1:48:31need to know this, too.1:48:34Amen.1:48:35There's nothing wrong with it.1:48:36Amen. We're all horrible.1:48:38It's just how it is. Myself included.1:48:40Amen. The difference, however, is who's1:48:43going to believe the Bible when it says1:48:44that about them and who's just going to1:48:46accessorize the Bible to understand1:48:48things.1:48:49Amen, brothers and sisters.1:48:51Right? That's the problem.1:48:53Amen. If you look at your life, you1:48:55don't even have control of your life.1:48:58What are you standing on that's so good,1:48:59brothers and sisters in here?1:49:01Right?1:49:02I Like I said, I try to explain it1:49:04respectfully. I try to, you know, be1:49:06spiritual about it, but there's times1:49:08where we just got to we just got to lay1:49:09it out there, you know?1:49:11We just got to. Respectfully.1:49:14Right? You You at your life. What have1:49:16you done in your life that's really even1:49:18godly to the to the perspective What1:49:21What can you say about yourself that's1:49:22pure and good, truly, aside from Jesus1:49:25Christ?1:49:26Amen. Nothing. Then why the hell are you1:49:29talking?1:49:30Because you're good. That's the point.1:49:33Do you understand what I'm saying? Why1:49:34do these words hit you and make you1:49:36frustrated? Because you're good, even1:49:38though I'm telling the truth. If there's1:49:39nothing in your life you have to stand1:49:41up for,1:49:42if there's nothing in your life, right?1:49:44Think about it. That you have that's1:49:46that that's led you anywhere. The from1:49:48the relationships to you being lonely,1:49:50to even you being in a relationship and1:49:52not being able to talk to your man or1:49:53your woman.1:49:55Do you understand what I'm saying? Like,1:49:57what do we even stand on that's so1:49:59arrogant, that makes us so like, "Wow,1:50:01you said that to me? I can't believe you1:50:03checked me." Like, what makes you even1:50:05have that? I just want to know.1:50:07I just want to know.1:50:08Is it a fat bank account? Is it I mean,1:50:10have you done something that's made you1:50:12so like1:50:14understanding in the Bible and perfect1:50:16and amazing and equipped so well? What1:50:19makes you What makes it rough when1:50:20someone tells you then that you're1:50:21nothing? What's the issue with that?1:50:24The issue is you say it, but you don't1:50:26believe it. Understand what I'm saying?1:50:28That's what it is.1:50:30Amen. That's what it is. The enemy1:50:32telling you.1:50:33Yeah, you're good. You do well according1:50:36to you, of course. And I think I'm good,1:50:37too, and we all think we're good.1:50:39But where's God in all of this?1:50:41Amen. If Paul came down today, he would1:50:43chastise us even worse than this.1:50:46Think about it, guys. Paul would sit1:50:48there and he would check every one of us1:50:50for being soft, respectfully.1:50:52Just read Galatians. He calls them fool1:50:55Oh, you foolish Galatians.1:50:57And how would we respond? Wow.1:51:00Where's the Holy Spirit in that? That's1:51:02how we'd respond, cuz we're soft.1:51:04Understand what I'm saying? Hella soft.1:51:07Understand Oh, you're judging us, dude.1:51:08You just said you're the chief sinner.1:51:10Like, that's how we would be. Crybaby,1:51:12straight up. So look at your life1:51:14though. All you've ever done was cry.1:51:16Understand what I'm saying?1:51:18Amen. Bros over here still worrying1:51:19about reading a page in the Bible, not1:51:21even understand.1:51:22Understand?1:51:24Amen. It is weird because it doesn't1:51:25match you, right? That's why Avon, it1:51:28doesn't match what you think and feel.1:51:30I thought you were a good person you1:51:31weren't a good person, you were perfect,1:51:33right?1:51:34What happened? It's funny how most of1:51:36these people realize this.1:51:37Amen. But you're a new person.1:51:40Right? So when you look at your own1:51:41life, all I'm saying is just look at1:51:43your life.1:51:44Right? How how is it leading you?1:51:46Without remove all the pride and really1:51:48think about it. Amen.1:51:50You can't tell the difference between1:51:51someone fighting for you and someone1:51:53fighting with you. I'm not fighting with1:51:55you, I'm just fighting for you. You also1:51:57can't appreciate that we sat here and1:51:58tried to exegite it for you and make it1:52:00clear, but you want to look good in1:52:02front of people and spin the narrative.1:52:04I don't know guys, what about this,1:52:05right?1:52:06This is what happens to good people.1:52:09Exit that way by the way if you if you1:52:10want to leave. Amen.1:52:13Understand what I'm saying?1:52:14Right? Again, same heart. Look, so do I1:52:16need to read or not? Right. Unlocks. So1:52:20so just tell me what to do. I'm telling1:52:21you what to do.1:52:23Right? Can't listen.1:52:26That's the problem.1:52:27Understand what I'm saying? Brothers and1:52:28sisters?1:52:30Right? So it it comes down to you guys1:52:32can see it in real time. Again, I1:52:33apologize1:52:35to the cot members genuinely1:52:38who you guys know my heart. You know and1:52:40you see actively what what's going on1:52:42and what we deal with.1:52:44And I appreciate you guys for always1:52:45trying to listen.1:52:47I think what's going to happen nowadays1:52:49genuinely is1:52:51I want them to cuz I I worked on you1:52:53guys,1:52:54right? And and1:52:56you know, I I you guys were like this in1:52:58a lot of ways too.1:53:00But there's times where I'm I'm1:53:02recognizing that it's also very1:53:05uh it would the difficulty for me is1:53:07where do I find the balance to let one1:53:09or two or three people steer away from1:53:11the majority people who are actually1:53:13surrendered. Right? That's the1:53:15difficulty. Cuz for me, I I I care about1:53:17even one soul.1:53:19But it's difficult because you guys have1:53:21to continuously hear this thing when it1:53:23really doesn't apply to you guys all the1:53:25time.1:53:26Amen?1:53:27Right? Now, it's good for patience. It's1:53:29good for doing that, but it's starting1:53:31to seem like, at least in my opinion, I1:53:32don't know, that every other main stage,1:53:35at least, is going to be uh, like I got1:53:38to I got to like gain a heart of1:53:40somebody, and people are just going to1:53:41accessorize. Like, that's just how it1:53:44is.1:53:45You know? Like I said, right? You're1:53:47only in here for unlocks, the new1:53:48people,1:53:49and and and even old people.1:53:52You're only in here for unlocks. So,1:53:53when I stop giving unlocks, they start1:53:55getting mad. That's what it is.1:53:57Amen?1:53:59It's what it is, at the end of the day.1:54:01So, they don't even realize that's1:54:02disrespectful.1:54:04Amen? Anyways, just shut up and tell me1:54:06what it is. Like, how do how do I read1:54:07the Bible like you, bro? How do I like1:54:09that's all they care about. Understand?1:54:11And then they don't And then when I1:54:12check that, oh, well, don't check me for1:54:15that. That's the issue.1:54:16Understand what I'm saying?1:54:18Right?1:54:19Like, don't just say sorry. Like, do1:54:20better, respectfully.1:54:22Right? It's It's not It It It I'm sorry1:54:24to say, but like anyone can say sorry.1:54:27Right? How about listen?1:54:29How about sit there and go, "Dang, you1:54:30know what? I'm I'm wrong for this. I1:54:32genuinely I'm I'm I'm done. I'm done1:54:34trusting myself."1:54:36I mean, anybody can say sorry. My1:54:37goodness, I can curse you guys out and1:54:39be like, "I'm sorry, guys.1:54:41It's just been really tough." And then1:54:42like, right? Which I never do that to1:54:43you guys. But I could do that, too.1:54:46Easy.1:54:47Easy.1:54:48Why not sit there and actually try to1:54:50change? Why not sit there and actually1:54:52take in what people are saying when1:54:53they're giving you game and they're1:54:54actually trying to teach you? And1:54:56they're actually trying to grow.1:54:58Understand what I'm saying?1:54:59Right? That's all I'm trying to say, you1:55:01Me telling you guys to listen,1:55:03me telling you guys that it's not good.1:55:05People don't even know how to think1:55:07about my heart. Isn't that kind of1:55:09crazy? Guys, don't you think it would be1:55:11so much better, new people especially.1:55:13Don't you think it would be better if I1:55:14sat there and said, "Oh my gosh, amen1:55:15sister, you're absolutely right. Let me1:55:17correct my tone." I guarantee you1:55:18wouldn't feel bad. I guarantee you1:55:20wouldn't say, "This is weird." I1:55:21guarantee you would sit there and go,1:55:22"Wow, this guy is a man of God."1:55:24According to what you think though.1:55:26You see what I'm saying? I could sit1:55:28there and edify you guys all the time1:55:29and take a whole dollar from you guys1:55:31from You would leave I would take your1:55:32whole bank account from you.1:55:34But why do you think I'm sitting here1:55:35trying to tell you guys what it is1:55:37versus what you want to hear?1:55:39Like do you want me to trick you guys?1:55:40Do you want me to sit there and go,1:55:42"Yeah guys, no, amen. Wow, that's it1:55:44Where Sister, where did you get that1:55:45revelation? Brother, wow, amen. Brother,1:55:47it's not about reading the Bible,1:55:48brother. It's all about the Holy Spirit1:55:50being in you." I get you I guarantee you1:55:52wouldn't think that was weird. You would1:55:54sit there and feel good. And my main1:55:56stages would have 10,000s of people in1:55:57here.1:55:58Understand?1:55:59Why do you think I'm sitting here1:56:00fighting for you guys?1:56:02Like people can't even think out of1:56:03themselves and they think they're good.1:56:04That's why I said, "Where do you find1:56:06this heart that I'm a good person?"1:56:09I'm just curious.1:56:10I'm just curious. Y'all tripping on me1:56:12because I'm telling you how it is to1:56:14actually live scripturally and1:56:15spiritually.1:56:16Amen?1:56:17Right? God forbid I tell you guys to1:56:19read the Bible. God forbid I said you1:56:21didn't actually read the Bible. And you1:56:23admit that you don't understand the1:56:24Bible. God forbid, man. God forbid I say1:56:27you're good.1:56:28God forbid, bro. So what the faith am I1:56:30supposed to say to you then?1:56:32You're good, you're amazing. I love you.1:56:35You're great. Wow, guys. Here's an1:56:37unlock. Here's an unlock. You Use me1:56:39however you want and you never grow and1:56:40never get a disciple.1:56:42Is that what you guys want me to do?1:56:44I think that is. Genuinely, I think1:56:46that's what they want. They say no, but1:56:49I guarantee you you guys want that.1:56:52Understand what I'm saying?1:56:53Got it, guys?1:56:54Amen?1:56:55Right?1:56:56People over here tripping about the1:56:58smallest things. So, what if people say1:57:00stuff about you? Get used to it. You're1:57:02Christian. You're weird to everybody1:57:04else.1:57:05Understand?1:57:07Got it, right? Let's get that out the1:57:08way once and for all. Who cares if1:57:11somebody sits here and tells you you're1:57:12weak, you suck, you're lacking? You are.1:57:16And that's why we need Jesus.1:57:18Do you guys not read the Bible? 21:57:19Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9 and 10.1:57:22What's the issue?1:57:24God forbid. Oh my goodness. We tell you1:57:26guys you you you know that all your1:57:28you're not that good. You're not that1:57:30studied. God forbid, man. Like we1:57:32committed some kind of murder or1:57:34something.1:57:35My goodness.1:57:37Understand what I'm saying?1:57:39Amen.1:57:40Right?1:57:40So, again, sometimes, guys, I I again, I1:57:44will spend hours and hours trying to1:57:46speak to you guys.1:57:47And then it'll get to this position1:57:49where it's like I had to just tell you.1:57:50Sometimes I just lead with it. It just1:57:52happens.1:57:53It's by grace, guys. And I'm not mad at1:57:55any of you guys.1:57:56Right?1:57:57I'm just trying to make you guys1:57:58understand that1:58:00if you only follow God based off of you,1:58:03I mean,1:58:05there's a reasoning why you're you're1:58:07listening to a tatted up gang member.1:58:08Like, you're weird for that,1:58:10respectfully.1:58:11Understand? There's all these other1:58:12people you could listen to.1:58:14And you're coming to listen to someone1:58:15like me. That says a lot about you.1:58:18You know, when people talk about I was I1:58:20was mentoring somebody with the1:58:22relationship.1:58:23And the dude was like just hella judging1:58:25her. She was an ex OnlyFans model. She's1:58:28so weird. She did this. She did that.1:58:29Blah blah blah. And I was like, "Then1:58:30why are you with her?" And he got mad at1:58:32me. "What the hell you talking about?"1:58:33Like, "Well, I fell for her. What do you1:58:35mean? I can't just fall for people." I'm1:58:36like, "But you're judging her for like1:58:38sleeping around with having a body count1:58:39of over 100," which is what he always1:58:41says. And yet you stay with her.1:58:43Like, that's that says about a lot about1:58:45you, though.1:58:46"No, it doesn't, bro. It says that I'm1:58:48loving. It says that I'm compassionate.1:58:49It's" What the faith are you talking1:58:51about, bro?1:58:52Like, if you were loving and1:58:53compassionate, you would forgive her for1:58:55her past. And you you don't say that to1:58:56me. I'm I'm going to end the one-on-one1:58:58now. Exactly. So, am I the one who's1:59:00tripping?1:59:01Do you understand? That's what happens.1:59:03People don't want to be told the truth.1:59:06What they want is for you to pacify1:59:07them.1:59:08And if you don't, God forbid you don't1:59:10do that, then you're a piece of garbage1:59:11human being. That's what it is.1:59:14Understand? Don't get mad at me because1:59:15you're sensitive. Respectfully. Right? I1:59:18deal with this day in and day out. And1:59:20I'm sorry. I understand what it means to1:59:22be sensitive. I'm a gang member.1:59:25Gang members are the most sensitive1:59:26people.1:59:27You you you can't even look at us wrong,1:59:29we'll kill you. That's how sensitive You1:59:31can't call me a B word. You can't talk1:59:32behind my back. I'll do something to1:59:34you.1:59:34That's We're the most sensitive people.1:59:36Some of you guys are ex-gang members,1:59:37you know what I'm talking about. We're1:59:38the most sensitive people. Straight up.1:59:41On everything.1:59:42And yet, if I'm able to sit there and1:59:44realize, "Wait a minute, I'm wrong. I'm1:59:46sensitive. Not everyone who's saying1:59:48something is attacking me." Then you1:59:50guys have to realize that, too.1:59:52If a If a gang member who's went through1:59:54compounded trauma, who was molested at1:59:5517 at 12 years old by a 17-year-old,1:59:58who's been shot, been stabbed, been2:00:00thrown away in the system, seen other2:00:01kids raping other kids in California2:00:03Youth Authority, seen COs rape other2:00:06kids,2:00:07to see all of that, you have no excuse2:00:09whatsoever. I'm sorry.2:00:11I'm really sorry.2:00:12You have no excuse when someone says2:00:14something small to you to go, "Yeah, you2:00:15don't say that. I don't care about your2:00:16opinion." You don't do that. Do you2:00:18understand? We're all adults here.2:00:20And if this is weird cuz I'm2:00:21fact-checking you and telling you the2:00:23truth, then that's that.2:00:25That means you just don't want to2:00:26change.2:00:27Amen.2:00:28Understand, guys?2:00:30Make sense, brothers and sisters? Right?2:00:33Yes, we have thoughts. Yes, we have2:00:34feelings.2:00:35But understand what I'm saying from the2:00:37core here, guys. Okay? It's very simple.2:00:41No one is going to sit here,2:00:43right? And just tell you guys not to2:00:46trust your thoughts. I get it. That's2:00:47not normal.2:00:49No one is going to sit here and go,2:00:51"Hey, respectfully, you haven't read the2:00:52Bible enough." Do you know why? Cuz they2:00:54don't care about you.2:00:56They care about your butts in the pews.2:00:58They care about the memberships and the2:01:00viewership and they farm clicks and2:01:01likes and views. I'm not like that2:01:03though. I know that I have to answer to2:01:05God.2:01:06And when God comes to me and goes, "When2:01:07that sister said that and you saw2:01:09through the Holy Spirit and through2:01:10scripture, why didn't you tell her?" Oh,2:01:12cuz I don't want to look bad. Exactly.2:01:14How am I going to say that to God?2:01:16Understand? I'm a I'm a shepherd at the2:01:18end of the day. I have a spiritual2:01:19responsibility.2:01:21Understand? I'm a steward, guys. I'm an2:01:23ordained pastor and a prison minister. I2:01:25can't just sit there and go, "Oh, your2:01:27widow feelings. I'm not going to tell."2:01:28I can't do that.2:01:30I will try2:01:31and I'll try to explain it. Understand?2:01:33I will. But if I keep seeing the heart2:01:36callous, if I keep seeing, "Oh, no,2:01:38that's not what it is, brother. It's not2:01:39that. It's not that." Then why you ask2:01:41me?2:01:42If I'm clarifying, why you ask me? If2:01:44you're already going to tell me it's not2:01:45this. It's not that.2:01:48Like that's that's like low IQ behavior,2:01:50respectfully.2:01:51Right? It's like if you have your mind2:01:53made up, don't ask me nothing. Go and2:01:55live your life and do what you got to do2:01:57and then come back when you're actually2:01:58surrendered.2:01:59Don't tell me how am I supposed to2:02:01surrender while trying to hold on to2:02:02myself and hold on to the steering2:02:03wheel.2:02:04Understand? For everybody else, I2:02:06apologize.2:02:07I'm sorry that there are people who will2:02:09take away from the lessons that I could2:02:10drop2:02:12just to ask their selfish ass questions,2:02:14respectfully.2:02:15Right? And take away from the teachings.2:02:18I do apologize. But I believe everything2:02:20is a lesson.2:02:21I believe everything is a lesson.2:02:23Understand?2:02:24Right?
