These0:09episodes are audio only, so thanks for0:10listening and you can join my Discord to0:13catch the next Discord stage live link0:15in the description. Hi, I can't shake0:18the feeling of being nervous to pray for0:20people. Yesterday, I helped serve on our0:22prayer team and I just felt out of0:23place. When I went home, I legit felt0:25like a failure. Yeah. Um because when0:28you kind of put everything on yourself,0:30that's what happens. We as Christians0:33have to learn not to take credit for the0:36bad or the good. So if you pray a really0:39good prayer, you shouldn't take the0:42credit for that prayer. It's Holy Spirit0:45as per Romans 8:26 prays. And it's just0:49this kind of cadence of like unlearning0:52things gradually. We have to unlearn. I0:56mean, the best thing to to say is that0:58we have to unlearn a lot of the things,1:01right? Um, we've we've been taught that1:05if we pray for somebody, we have to mean1:07it. We have to pull pour our hearts out.1:10If we're helping to serve, we have to1:12pour our hearts out. And of course,1:13these are very, very good things to1:15have. Yes, I I don't disagree. But at1:18the same time, why why do we feel out of1:22place? Why do we feel, you know, um,1:25like we need to do something? It's very1:27simple. It's because we feel like we1:30need to do it and we don't believe in1:32the one who's going to do it.1:34So, the issue is not that you are a1:37failure or you felt out of place. You1:39have to think about why you're feeling1:41out of place. Oh, because I'm trying to1:43exalt the fact that I have to do well.1:46Yes, you should have the heart to do1:48well, but you have to plug into God's1:50heart with that heart to do well. And1:52how how that looks like practically in1:54our day-to-day lives is to go, obviously1:58I want people to get saved. Obviously, I2:00want people to, you know, hear the2:03prayer and change and obviously I want2:05the prayer to change them. However, God,2:08you want that more than me. Lord, you2:11take care of it. And it's really that2:13simple. The issue is um we just you know2:18we feel like failures because it's it's2:20we have to do it like something in our2:22heart something in our mind is like no2:24you have to do it not true right so it's2:28kind of what it comes down to all right2:31book of Job messed me up today it's it's2:34really just our hearts right sorry to2:37ask this question but I was just curious2:38on how to put the app on my iPad it's2:41asking me to add all my credit card2:43information information. Will I still be2:45paying the same thing or will there be2:47an upcharge? So, if you guys haven't2:49done so, you guys have to read um and2:51look for the announcements that we have2:54on the legacy uh website, right? We2:57poured a lot of our heart into it.3:00Basically, it's it explains everything.3:02So, go ahead and look look for it. Um,3:07and it it'll explain how the pricing is3:12is for you to still keep the old tier,3:15right? And but the app is something3:18that's completely different. It's going3:19to be upgraded constantly. So, that's3:22something that's different, right? At3:24the end of the day,3:27uh it's just important to kind of3:29recognize that there are times where,3:32you know, we have to kind of just read a3:34little bit and kind of uh look into3:37what what the announcements are. They're3:39there for a reason, right? Can you3:42explain Romans 1:16? Um yeah. Yeah. So3:46Paul is not saying, you know, he's not3:49embarrassed to be a Christian.3:52He's not ashamed of the only thing that3:54actually can save a person. So, he loves3:57the gospel, right? The real gospel is4:00Jesus Christ dying for our sins, being4:03buried, and then raising again, right?4:05That's the the core message of the4:07gospel. So, he says, "I am not ashamed4:10of the gospel of Christ." Right? Because4:14the gospel sounds foolish to who? To4:17proud people. So the way we ask this4:21question, there's already like a heart4:24to kind of think that we have to go and4:27we we have to preach to other people.4:29That's also foolishness in that that's4:32also pr like prideful, right? The gospel4:36tells religious people you cannot save4:38yourself. It tells people who are4:40morally good, your goodness is not4:42enough, right? Right. And it tells4:46anybody basically like y'all can't hold4:48a fire to Jesus basically. You need4:52Jesus essentially, right? And that's4:55very offensive to anybody who thinks4:57that they're good. Is that is that4:59clear? Right guys? So when Paul says I'm5:02not ashamed, what he's saying is I'm5:03weak and I'm lacking and that's why the5:05gospel is for me. He's not going yo you5:08guys need to go and you need to preach5:10to everybody and fight everybody who's5:11proud who's prideful, right? It's like5:15that's not what he's saying. He's saying5:17it's the power of God unto salvation.5:19Right? The gospel is the power of God5:22and that's the power that saves you. So5:25who can get saved? People who are weak,5:28right? A person who can't swim and is5:32drowning needs to be saved. Right.5:35Right. So if they're if they have that5:38heart posture, then they're the ones5:40that need to get saved. So salvation is5:42something you receive, right? Not5:44something you achieve, right? So it's5:48it's not this heart of like, oh, I5:50should take this and I should go and and5:52like I don't want you guys to bleed your5:55pride into the gospel, if that makes5:57sense. Do do you understand what I'm5:59saying? Like I don't want you guys to to6:02at all like think like, oh, this means6:04this, right? So like like this question,6:07I'll give you guys an example. says, "Do6:09they do you think they didn't specify6:11his thorn because he knew he would focus6:13on that? We would focus on that." See,6:15like that's that sounds very humble.6:17Like, but where does it say he didn't6:20specify the thorn? It specifies it right6:22there in our face. What the thorn6:24actually is. So, so that's the the6:27issue. Do you guys understand what I'm6:29saying, guys? The heart posture is6:31always like, I know what I know. Right?6:35Amen. Right? So, we haven't read it, but6:38we're still that. Do you guys see the6:40heart posture though, right? I haven't6:41read. Amen. You haven't read. That's6:43that's fine. But how can you specify6:46without reading it what it says and what6:48it doesn't say? Because the only thing6:51is there's pride. There's heart of I6:53know. If I don't know anything, how can6:56I speak on it? How can I even ask that?6:58Because you have pride. Like there's no7:01other way you can say, "Yeah, I know7:04what's on the other side." Well, have7:05you been there? No, I've never been7:06there. I know how it is to be in prison.7:07Have you ever been to prison? No, I've7:09never been. Well, then how can you say7:11that? Oh, cuz I think I I cuz I think I7:14can. Do Do you understand what I'm7:15saying, guys? That's what what I'm7:17trying to say is don't bleed your pride7:19or your heart or what you think you know7:21into the gospels. Do you guys re you7:24recognize this, right? You have to7:26literally come empty, right? Amen. So,7:32you know, it's we'll look at it. We'll7:35look at 2 Corinthians7:3812 um verse here, I'll put it up 16 to7:44uh verse 6 to8, I'm sorry. Okay. So,7:47we'll read it carefully here, right? And7:49those of you guys who know, don't say7:51anything, you know, let's see if people7:53can catch what they're reading because7:55it's in our face, but we can't catch it7:57because there's a heart posture here.7:59So, let's read it. For through for8:01though I would desire to glory, I shall8:03not be a fool. For I will say the truth,8:06but now I forbear, lest any man should8:09think of me above that which he seeth me8:11to be, or that he heareth, right? And le8:15and lest I should be exalted above8:17measure through the abundance of8:18revelations. There was given to me a8:20thorn in the flesh, the messenger of8:22Satan to buffet me, lest I should be8:24exalted above measure. For this thing I8:27besought the Lord thrice that it might8:28depart from me. So he went to God three8:31times. Everybody was thinking he was8:33really smart. Everybody thought he was8:35amazing. But he says, "I don't want8:37people to hear me, right? And because I8:41don't want people to hear me through the8:43abundance of revelations, there was8:46given to me, God gave me a thorn in the8:50flesh, right? What is the thorn in his8:53flesh, right? For those who who know and8:55learn from me, please don't hold it.8:58Like, don't say anything. Let's think8:59about this for a second. It's it's smack9:02dab in our face. If you really look at9:04it, but if you can't see it, there's a9:06reasoning behind it. It's usually9:08because we have our own heart posture.9:10We're interpreting. We're thinking maybe9:12it's this, maybe it's that. Is it sin?9:15Right? Again, so I'm going to ask Tony,9:17I'm going to ask Gio. I'm going to ask9:18you guys, where does it say that? Where9:21does it say sin and pride? So look at it9:24carefully. There was verse 7. Unless I9:27should be exalted above measure through9:29the abundance of the revelations. Ready?9:31There was given to me a thorn in the9:33flesh,9:34the messenger of Satan to buffet me.9:38What's his thorn on the on the side? The9:41messenger of Satan. Do you guys9:43understand now? Satan would constantly9:46buffet him and people around Sat like9:48Satan's people to mess with him. Whether9:50it was the Pharisees, whether whoever it9:52is, it was basically people from Satan.9:54Do you understand? But what if I come9:56and I say that and I go, "Yeah, you9:58know, Paul, dude, he had sin. He had10:01pride." Like, where where in the Bible10:04would it say that though? Do Do you guys10:06understand what I'm saying? The thorn on10:07his side was And I can even do this,10:10right? We can spin it too to make it10:12make sense, but it's not scriptural10:14truly. Well, there's a thorn on his10:16side. See, Paul didn't have a wife, so10:20he struggled with lust because, you10:21know, Eve is from the side. He's not10:23from the side. You You understand,10:24right? We could spin it, too. Oh, that's10:28so deep. Oh, like we could do that. But10:31where in scripture does it actually say10:32this, though? Or at least in the in the10:34the context, in the text, right? It10:38doesn't. Right. So, again, there are10:41heart postures where we're not able to10:44see these things. It's not because we're10:47horrible and we're stupid and we're10:49lacking.10:51If you come into any place, not just10:54with scripture, but in anywhere in your10:57heart, in your anywhere in your job, in11:01your workplace, why won't you be able to11:03hear anything or catch the details?11:05Because if you already think you know,11:08you're not going to you're going to11:09filter everything through what you think11:11you know, right? So even though we're11:15teaching, it's literally difficult. So11:17then practically, what are you supposed11:19to do? That's why I give these things.11:22Not to harden, but to make you go, "Oh11:24my gosh, I genuinely don't know." And I11:26don't even realize I'm doing that. Do11:27you guys understand the context here?11:29This is discipling. Hey, what do you11:31know? You don't know anything. Paul11:33writes to Timothy. Timothy is really11:35good. He writes to Titus. They're11:37really, really good people. Their books11:39made it into the Bible. Their11:43manuscripts made it into the Bible.11:46Right guys? Make sense? Got it right?11:50But the way he speaks to Timothy is not11:53very loving. He's always speaking11:56cautiously.11:57Timothy be cautious. He air on the side12:00of caution. Timothy Timoththeos be12:02cautious when you lead. Timothy be c12:05it's always caution cautionary things12:07because he he believes in Proverbs 4.12:10Guard your heart. Basically,12:13we we don't do that. We give our heart12:14to Satan every day. Oh, I think I know.12:17Do you guys understand what I'm saying?12:19And then the issue here is this is why12:21people get frustrated, right? Understand12:24what I'm saying? Because it gets so12:27tiring to be like, h, so I I guess I12:31don't know again. I guess I don't know12:32again. But let's say you guys12:33acknowledge. Let's say today you go,12:36dang, I ju I legit don't really know.12:39Can I ask you guys an honest question?12:41Aside from you feeling stupid about12:42yourself, right? What's the problem of12:45you not knowing something? Why does it12:48feel like an attack on your identity?12:50You guys understand, right? Really, it12:52shouldn't be an issue. Oh, I don't know.12:54Yeah, I don't know. Do Do you guys12:56understand what I'm saying? Right. So,12:59the reasoning why is because yes, ego13:03ego goes, "Nah, bro. You're smarter than13:06that." And so when you have ego and13:09pride, what happens there? Even if it's13:12a little bit, it's not like a huge13:14amount of ego. It could be very small,13:16minuscule, but what that does is it13:18bleeds and literally what we call13:20poisons the well. You know, a well, when13:22it gets a drop of poison in it, it's13:24undrinkable because it's poisoned,13:25right? In the same way, ego does that13:28too. Even if it's a little bit of ego13:29and a little bit of pride, it poisons13:31everything. So people will sit there and13:34they will listen to what I say for13:36months, months and months, even years.13:40But it'll take that one thing to go, I'm13:42freaking sick and tired of feeling like13:45I don't know anything. So therefore, now13:47I need to show you why you don't know13:49anything. Why you're wrong. Do you guys13:53understand what I'm saying? I'm sick and13:55tired of feeling stupid. Right? But13:58what's the problem with feeling stupid?14:00I feel stupid every day. I'm not as good14:02as Pastor Kim. I'm not as good as these14:05other people who preach all around the14:06world and can save millions of people.14:09Like I'm not as good as them. I don't14:11know the stuff like right as as deep as14:14some some some of these other people the14:16scholarly the you know esquetology and14:20soology and all that right but like at14:23the end of the day I just acknowledge14:25that about myself. You know what's so14:27beautiful is once you acknowledge,14:30right? Oh, I don't really know anything.14:33What's the problem, right, guys?14:36Nothing. Nothing is the issue. But what14:39what is it that we don't want though? We14:41don't want to feel that. Amen. No, I do14:44know something. Okay, I was just asking14:46a question, dude. I get it. Like, move14:50along. I literally I heard this story14:52before, dude. Like, I get it. I14:54understand. That's also pride. Can we14:56move forward? Like come on. I want to14:58learn something else. Can teach me15:00something else. Like it's the same heart15:02posture of like I already know. I'm15:04finally bringing after service to Europe15:06this June. After service is a free live15:08event where you're going to get a sermon15:10from me, a live Q&A, a meet and greet,15:13and basically we're bringing the online15:15community offline for you guys to come15:16and fellowship. I'm coming to Stockholm,15:19Sweden June 4th, which is a Thursday.15:21And we're hitting also Amsterdam, which15:24is Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June15:267th. For times, locations, and details,15:28RSVP through email. Link in the15:31description. I'm super [clears throat]15:32excited to see you guys there. Pack it15:34out, tell your friends. Let's go. So,15:36two things that I see um in spiritual15:39life that really hinders people is pride15:43and then not even just that,15:45acknowledgment, right? acknowledging15:48that, okay, I don't know. Cuz what kills15:53pride is not you fighting pride, guys.15:55It's not even you casting out pride. You15:57can't what kills pride is. I don't know.16:02So then if you don't know something,16:03what can you stand on? Do you know what16:06the root of pride is? Righteousness.16:09Being right. Do you guys understand what16:11I'm saying? Right? Like think about it16:14though, right? Where can Can you be16:17prideful if you're dead wrong and you16:19know you're dead wrong? Hell no. You're16:20going to sit there and be like, "Dang,16:21I'm super wrong, dude. 1 plus 1 equals16:233." No, it doesn't, dude. Yes, it does,16:25bro. All right, let me show you. Boom.16:27Oh, snap. Oh, I'm dumb. I seen I seen a16:30I seen a um a um a video of this older16:36gentleman and his his kids were clowning16:38him. He was a father of these kids. And16:40they're like, "Spell fat." And he's16:42like, "F a t. What? That's easy." He's16:45like, "Spell her." Okay. H E R. Now put16:48it together. What does it say? He's16:49like, "Fat her. Fat her." And they're16:52like laughing. They're dying. And he's16:55like, "You're really pissing me off16:57right now. What? It's fat her." He's17:00like screaming. And they're like, "Yo,17:03okay." He's like, "You're legit pissing17:06me off." He's like, "Spell it again. F A17:09T H E R. Fat her." He's like screaming17:14at the top of his lungs and they're17:16like, "No, what are you to your17:18daughter?" He's like, "Father, what? F A17:22T H E R. Fat hurt." Oh. And it it17:25clicks. As soon as it clicks in his17:27mind, he calms down. Do you guys17:29understand what I'm saying? In the same17:32way, we're like that. When I saw that, I17:34was like, "Oh, we're like I'm like that.17:36What? I know. No, Johnny. Yes, I do.17:39What are you? You're really pissing me17:41off right now. You know, you tell me I17:43don't know. You're really pissing me off17:45right now. No, Johnny. I'm telling you,17:47bro. It's What do you mean? I read the17:50Bible 26. I know what it Do you17:52understand? You guys got it right. In17:54the same way, it's just like that. It's17:57just like that, right? No, brother. You18:00don't have you. How many times have you18:01read the Bible? Shut up. You don't tell18:02me how many times I read the Bible. You18:04trying to make me feel stupid. No, I'm18:06saying you don't know the context. If18:08you haven't read No, you're calling me18:09dumb. it becomes this.18:12Right? So again to recap, how do you18:17kill pride? By being wrong, by18:20acknowledgement. Oh, I don't know. Not18:22just knowing, oh, I'm prideful. That18:23doesn't do anything. Many people, I'm18:25super stubborn. They can't change it.18:27It's recognizing I'm stubborn for no18:29reason. I'm literally wrong. Do you guys18:32understand what I'm saying? That's18:33what's going to kill the pride. If18:35you're completely wrong, you can't18:37really like I'm talking about if you18:39acknowledge it. I'm not talking about18:41fighting your wrong. There's people who18:42know that they're wrong and they don't18:44want to be wrong. That's a different18:46other type of pride. That stems but18:48still from being self-righteous. That18:50stems more from sensit sensitivity.18:52That's a little bit different, right18:54guys? Right? A lot of us are also18:56sensitive and that's okay. That's okay18:58too. But even that the antidote for that19:03is acknowledgement. What do you mean?19:05Oh, I'm sensitive. I'm weak. I19:08acknowledge that. Yep. I get mad at19:11those little things. Whoopde-doo. What's19:14the worst that happens when someone19:15goes, "Hey, they're a little sensitive."19:17If you actually notice, people recognize19:20that and they're actually a little bit19:22more nicer,19:24right? And then it shifts. It's such a19:26paradigm, right? It goes from, okay, I19:30want people to treat me like I'm strong,19:34but I'm not strong, but I also don't19:37want them to treat me like I'm weak.19:39There's this heart, too. So many layers,19:41right? But all of that gets killed by19:44acknowledgement. Do you guys understand19:46what I'm saying? Right? It's it's this19:49thing of, oh yeah, I'm sensitive and I'm19:53weak and what's the problem with that?19:55Nothing. That is exactly why Jesus had19:58to die for me. Okay. Yeah. I'm lustful.20:01I'm angry. I'm this. Whatever. Whatever.20:03Place whatever it is that you're20:05struggling with in the middle. Oh,20:07that's why Jesus has to help me. But20:09what do we try to do? No. No. No. No. We20:12hide. But do you guys know why you hide20:15certain things, too? Because you don't20:18believe God sees it. Think about that.20:20How absurd that is. Understand, right?20:25like he can see everything and of course20:28shame will make us but he sees the shame20:30too. So what is it exactly? It's like oh20:35I I don't really know how to function in20:37front of God. Understand? Right? So20:41that's the issue. Amen. The things that20:45we have to recognize in our hearts is oh20:48I can't really do anything. Neither do I20:51know anything. If you if you truly20:53unlock this hack, you learn everything.20:57Me too. I feel so pitiful for my team20:59sometimes. Genuinely, because I feel21:02like I don't know anything, right, guys?21:05Right. I feel like I don't know21:06anything. But then what do I do? Do I21:10just sit there and try harder? Right?21:13They're so good at marketing. I don't21:15know anything about marketing. They're21:16so good at reviewing scripts. I'm not21:18They say I got better, but I'm very hard21:20on myself. I don't really know. I don't21:22think so. I think I can do always21:24better. That's how I feel. Understand?21:27Right. And yet, you know what then do I21:31have to do? I have two choices. I can21:35acknowledge or acknowledge. Wait, what?21:37What do you mean? I can acknowledge what21:40Johnny Chang thinks or I can acknowledge21:42what they're saying to Johnny Chang. At21:44the end of the day, you're going to21:45acknowledge. So I decide to acknowledge21:48what they say to me versus what I feel21:51about me. Amen. In the same way, right?21:56If I don't acknowledge what they say,21:58then even though they say the things22:00that are correct, I will see it as22:03incorrect. Right? So same thing22:06practically speaking then in our lives22:09too. God comes to us through scripture,22:13through servants. Do you guys think I'm22:15asking you to change? I'm asking you to22:18believe that God changed you. That's22:20what I'm asking you to do. But what do22:23people even hear this message of? Oh, so22:26then what do I do then? What do you22:27mean? What do you What can The question22:29the better question is what can you do22:32respectfully? What what have you done?22:36Everything. No, don't. No. Nothing.22:38You've done nothing. Technically, you've22:39done everything. And what has it22:40amounted to? Nothing.22:43Can you acknowledge that? If you can22:45acknowledge that, you'll grow. If you22:47can't, you'll just keep asking questions22:49thinking that you can figure it out.22:50Find a loophole somewhere some way. You22:53can't do it. Right? I'm telling y'all,22:56you can't do anything without God. But22:58the issue is, yes, I can. Yes, I can. I23:02just have to try a little harder. Good.23:04Then try a little try a lot harder.23:06You're going to be trying until you die.23:08I can guarantee you that's what's going23:10to happen. Do you guys understand what23:13I'm saying? So, number one,23:15acknowledging, oh yeah, I'm nothing.23:18Number two, but what does God do with23:20people like me who are nothing? He He23:22changes me. Understand what I'm saying?23:25Right? But people think so simply,23:29right? Ah, I'm nothing. But but but23:33let's let's address these things, right?23:36Like this thing of like, oh, I'm so23:37lost, you know? I need to try a lot23:39harder. Is it okay to say that this23:42hurts, but I focus on Romans 8 and it23:44helps me? Look, look, that's what I'm23:45addressing. Right? Listen to me23:48carefully. Try your best to listen if23:50you can. Right? I'm so lost. I need to23:53try harder. This hurts me. All of that23:56stems from this hurts me. But what did I23:59say? Why does it hurt you? Let's let's24:02peel that back. Why does it hurt you to24:04be to fail and to be miserable and to24:07suck? Why? Because of pride. You don't24:10want to stay like that, right? That's24:12the problem. That's the issue. So, what24:15did I say earlier? To acknowledge that,24:18oh, I'm nothing. Okay, I'm just this24:22type of person. And God's not going to24:24leave me here, right? If he if he leaves24:28me here, he's not God. But look at what24:30we are doing. Look at our mind. We don't24:34even care about God. Understand? We move24:37on to other questions. We only want24:40things for ourselves. So, so let me just24:42ask you that, right? If you're not even24:45worried about trusting in God, then what24:48are you trying to do? You're just trying24:50to transactionalize him. Understand what24:52I'm saying? And that's because you're24:54evil. It's just the truth. You're evil.24:59Make sense? If God is sitting here and25:02he's going, "Look, I'm going to help25:04you." Right? I'm going to help you. All25:08you got to do is let go. Nah, I'm good.25:10I'm gonna try harder. I'm gonna work25:12harder on my business. I'm gonna do X,25:15Y, and Z. You're basically rejecting his25:19help. People don't need to try harder.25:21They need to trust deeper, right? They25:23need to surrender. But what do we keep25:26trying? No, I want to do more. What I'm25:29trying to ask is what have you done25:32though? Right? You have to think about25:35it deeply. What have I done? Like25:39genuinely. No. If you think you did25:41something well, you got to list that,25:42too. Don't just try to be false humble.25:46Legit be real. What is it that I've done25:49for God? Right? I can guarantee it's25:52nothing. But there is this heart of like25:56although I didn't do anything, I still25:57got to do something. Do you guys25:59understand what I'm saying? I still got26:02to do something. That heart right there,26:05that's the evil heart is what I'm26:06saying. Not evil in that it's like26:07killing people and hurting people and26:10understand what I'm saying, right?26:12[snorts]26:13It's evil in that Lord, I don't really26:17trust you to keep it real. Understand26:19what I'm saying? I I don't really like26:22respectfully, I'm trying to trust you,26:26but I don't really think that you could26:28help me. That's why I'm asking the26:30servant of God who's preaching your26:32word, what I can do. Do do you guys see26:36that from a foundational standpoint? I'm26:39asking you, God, what I what can I do?26:44Just look at that from foundationally.26:45Do are you guys catching that? Hey, God,26:48you do all things. Yes. How can I trust26:52you more? What? Lord, I know that you I26:58need to trust you. I need to let go. How27:00can I let go? Do you guys understand?27:04God is like, I'm sorry, but what can you27:06do? I have to make you. I have to help27:09you. I have to do it. And I am. I'm27:12letting you fall flat on your face, live27:15with pride, live completely numb, not27:18even knowing anything and what's going27:19on so that you can see that you're so27:22lost. Understand what I'm saying, right?27:25It's the same question. But how do you27:27surrender? You just pray God to help27:29you, right? No, Miley, you surrender by27:33doing more. Do as much as you can until27:36that thing dies in you that you can do27:38good. Why are you not asking me to go to27:41Mars? I'm just curious. Why don't you27:44ask me how to build a rocket ship? I can27:47teach you how we can use chatbt and meet27:50people. Like, why don't you ask me that?27:53Number one is cuz you probably don't27:54care. But number two, you know dang well27:57you would not be able to build a rocket28:00ship and go to Mars. But why do you ask28:02me how do you surrender? Because you28:05think you can. And that's what needs to28:07die. You can't surrender. Hello. That's28:10why you're not doing it. He needs to28:13show us this heart posture. Do you guys28:16understand what I'm saying? So any of28:18y'all asking what you're le tell me that28:21you trust in yourself still. Understand28:23what I'm saying? Without telling me,28:26understand what I'm saying? Right? And28:28out of all this, what we care about is28:30things like that. Look at the questions,28:33right? We're speaking bars here. Tell me28:37that you tell me you don't care about28:39Jesus without telling me. And watch the28:43pride go up in people like that. Watch28:45the pride leak out of them. Y'all care28:48about Jesus? H Do you h Yes. Look at28:53that. Yeah. You care about Jesus? Wow.28:57Y'all love Jesus? Let me ask you a28:59question. Do you guys love Jesus? H Do29:02you care about Jesus? Remember, Amen.29:04wanting to care about Jesus is different29:06than actually doing it. So, I think a29:08lot of you guys want to. I don't29:09disagree with that. I disagree with you29:11guys loving him, though, right? I I29:14don't think you guys love him. He's my29:15first I don't think so. Respectfully,29:18let me explain to you guys why you guys29:21love what you guys think is love. Let me29:24repeat that. You guys love what you29:27think is love. You love what you think29:30is loving Jesus. That's what you love.29:33Understand, right? Make sense? That's29:37what it is. You think you love Jesus.29:39Can I show you guys what actually loving29:42Jesus means according to the scripture?29:44[snorts] No, I'm I'm getting there.29:46Don't worry. There's a little bit of29:47patience here that we need. Don't get29:49angry. Get And if you're going to get29:51angry, get mad at yourself.29:53Respectfully, get mad at yourself that29:55you don't even know how to love Jesus.29:56Don't get mad at other people who call29:58it out. Understand? Learn it correctly.30:02There are people who put in the work,30:03too. Amen. That's for anyone getting30:06angry and frustrated because they're30:08getting challenged here. No, don't get30:09mad at me. Get mad at yourself for not30:12loving God correctly, turning your back30:14on him, etc. Right? So, that's the real.30:17But for those who want to learn, listen30:19to me carefully. Okay? John 14:15 tells30:23us how to love Jesus correctly from his30:25own mouth. Read it with me. Now, I'm30:28going to prove to you guys how you don't30:30love him. Ready? If you love me, keep my30:33commandments. Okay. How many30:36commandments do you think he's talking30:39about? H all of them, right? And he30:42prefaces because this is James 14. If30:45you look at James, I'm sorry, John 14.30:48If you look at John 13, he even tells30:51the other people, "Hey brothers, love30:53your guys as I have loved you." But we30:56know the apostles fight. We know Paul31:00chastised James and all these other31:02people, right? So, let me explain31:05something to you. Have you guys kept the31:08commandments?31:10Don't tell me you've tried. I'm I'm31:11asking kept kept fully from when you've31:15known Jesus, right? Cuz you claim to31:18love him. You've known him until now31:20perfectly. Have any of you guys done so?31:23So then let me ask you something then.31:25If if it's a no and you're feeling a31:28little bit disheartened now, that's31:29good. That's called humbling. It's31:30humility now, right? You say you love31:33Jesus. So, let me ask you something31:35then. Where do you pull your love from?31:38Does it make sense why I say now that31:40you think you love him and you love what31:43you think is love of him? Understanding31:47now? Do you understand? Right?31:49Understand? Make sense, right? The point31:53is not about the commandments, guys. The31:55point is, have you done all of them? And31:58if you haven't, what where do you draw32:00your love from? Right? Where do you draw32:04your love from? Where you draw your love32:06from is what I feel and think. And if32:10you don't match what I feel and think,32:11Johnny, well, then f you. You're mean to32:15me. Me who's really good. Me who tries32:19to love God. me who do you understand?32:21That's what people get mad about. Is32:24that really humble, brothers and32:25sisters? If you think about it, I love32:27Jesus. I love what I think is love.32:30That's not humble. God says, "This is32:32what I love." And you're like, "Sure."32:33Let's say, "Anyone married in the chat?32:36Anybody married here?" Yeah. Right. Men32:39in the chat. If your woman goes, "Hey, I32:44really love roses on my birthday."32:47Right. And maybe the first year you32:50don't get roses for her, but then the32:52second year you don't get roses for her.32:54And by the third year you don't get32:56roses, but you go, "Chocolate is better32:59or cookies?" And she goes, "Babe, I'm33:02telling you, I love roses on my33:06birthday." Would she be wrong to say,33:08"You don't really love me?" Because if33:11you did, you would literally be like,33:14"Oh, wow. She loves her." And I would33:16give her what she want cuz I love her. I33:18wouldn't impose what I think and feel.33:20Roses die. What do you mean? They're33:22they're they're so expensive and they33:23just end up dying. Why would I pay that?33:24No, I'm going to give you chocolate.33:26That's not loving someone. That's33:28imposing what you think is love. Do you33:31guys understand what I'm saying? Now, in33:34that same example, isn't that what you33:36do to God? Right. Well, I feel like it's33:39this and I think, well, somewhere along33:41I heard from this pastor, he said to do33:43this, so I'm just going to do that.33:44That's what love is. No, we love God so33:48much, right? We claim to love God with33:51all of our hearts and we don't even open33:54the Bible to see what he means and what33:56he wants. My goodness. Right? We don't I34:01love God so much, but I'm not going to34:03look in his book and what it says how to34:06love me. Do you guys understand what I'm34:07saying? Yeah. Amen, Mark. We all are.34:11Mark, that's the right heart to have.34:12I'm a fraud. All of us are. Do you34:15understand what I'm saying? And in fact,34:18we listen and love Satan more because if34:22you only listen to Satan, right? And you34:25only trust your thoughts, we are amening34:28him more than the word. Do you guys34:30understand what I'm saying? We That's a34:33hard pill to swallow for 99% of us in34:35here. Amen. Many of us are Jesus34:39admirers.34:41Very few of us genuinely are Jesus34:44followers. I must I must be honest here34:47and this is very humbling for many of34:49us. Amen. But you know what's going to34:51help you through that? Acknowledgement.34:54Like I said, ah I am a person like this34:59who doesn't even care about God and yet35:03he still died on that cross for a person35:07like me. That is what generates true35:11love. But Satan covers our eyes to get35:16to that position. Nobody told me that35:18faith would be this lonely. I thought35:20when I gave my life to God, everything35:22would just click. Community, peace,35:24direction. A lot of us are out here just35:26trying to figure it out alone. Your35:27family thinks it's a phase. You go to35:29church on Sunday, you're smiling, and35:30then on Monday, reality hits and you're35:33back alone in your home in your35:35thoughts. I know exactly what that's35:36like. I got out of prison at the age of35:3825. I didn't have a church home. I35:40didn't have friends. I didn't even35:41really have family to back me up. I had35:43God. I had a Bible. But more importantly35:46than anything, I had a pastor who I35:48could lean on to ask questions and to35:49just receive mentorship and have35:51fellowship with. And the thing that35:52changed everything for me wasn't just35:54studying alone. It was actually having35:56someone I could bring my real questions35:57to. Not the Sunday school questions. The36:00real ones. The ones that keep you up at36:02night. The ones that make you feel36:03unworthy because you can't figure it out36:05on your own. Therefore, you feel as if36:07you're less of a Christian. That's why36:08every single Saturday at 10 a.m. Pacific36:10Standard Time, I go live inside the Core36:12of the Heart daily app. First, we do a36:14full Bible class, real teaching, not36:16that surface level stuff. We go super36:18deep. Then, we open it up group36:20mentorship. You bring your real36:22questions, not the polished ones, and I36:24answer them with scriptures and honesty36:25based off of real struggles that I went36:27through in my life. You were never36:29supposed to do this alone, and now you36:30don't have to. Bible class every36:32Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard36:33Time. Can't wait to see you guys there.36:35If you've ever cheated on somebody and36:38you were like, "I know this girl is36:40gonna leave me. I know this man's gonna36:42leave me." But then he doesn't or she36:44doesn't. Have you noticed that nine36:46times out of 10, unless you're really a36:48scumbag, your heart grows deeper. Wow, I36:53cheated on this girl. I cheated on this36:55man thinking that they were something.36:58But in all of my nastiness, they37:00accepted me back. That's my girl for37:03life. I'm so I owe my life to that. They37:06still love me even after I did that.37:09That type of love is different than come37:12here, give me Eskimo kisses, come here,37:15here's your birthday, you know, present.37:17It's different. It's such a different37:19thick and thin starts to establish,37:21right? [snorts] In the same way, I'm a37:24sinner. I think I love God, but I go37:27against God every day by sinning against37:29him and then saying sorry to him. And37:32the sins that I don't even think are37:33sins, I don't confess to him. I just37:35confess the ones that I think are really37:36bad. So, I'm actually God in my standard37:39technically. And yet, he doesn't take37:42away my foot. He doesn't take away my37:44kids. He doesn't take away my job. He37:46still loves me because he says, "I stand37:49all day with my arms stretched forth37:51till my that rough neck people return37:54back to me." You know, when you realize37:57how much he loves us, that love is what38:00changes you. Do you understand what I'm38:02saying, brothers and sisters? You don't38:05no longer ask, "How do I surrender?"38:07Surrender is the byproduct of that. You38:10don't ask, "How do I forgive people who38:11hurt me?" Because you start to realize38:13I'm the same person in front of God.38:17That person who assaulted me, that38:19person who hurt me, that person who I38:21feel like I should forgive, I should38:23never forgive. I did the same thing and38:25probably more to God and he still38:28forgave me.38:30Then forgiveness is the byproduct of38:33that. You don't ask how to surrender.38:35You naturally do it. Do you guys38:38understand what I'm saying? There's38:39levels to this, brothers and sisters.38:41Amen. But so many people, what is the38:44heart posture that we have? Anyways,38:47that's cool. How do I tie God into my38:50business so that I can make more money38:52and still be and feel good about making38:54money and not feel so bad? So me at the38:56center. How do I wait on God? Because he39:00said it is not good for man to be alone.39:02But I'm a woman. I don't want to be39:04alone. So how do I wait on God so that I39:07can go and idol worship somebody else39:09and give the throne which is my heart39:11that's only supposed to be for God to39:13another man again and become39:14codependent? Do you guys understand what39:16I'm saying? How do I make money, more39:18money here? I got to support my family.39:21Hey, you know the Bible what it says,39:22right? You got to support your kids. You39:24got to raise your family, right? And be39:25a provider. How do I get that? I'm just39:27being biblical. I want to prov make more39:29money to provide. Again, not really bad39:33to have those mindsets,39:35right? But then your heart posture is39:38leaking what? Me39:41me I I I. If you only think about39:43yourself, where are you going to end up?39:46by yourself. Do you guys understand what39:48I'm saying here? Do you guys understand?39:50Right? That's what it is. Okay? That's39:54what it is. So, when you're sitting39:56there and you're thinking about that,39:59you acknowledge that first. Oh, I'm a40:01person who only accessorizes God. But40:04let me look at all the blessings. Did he40:06wake me up today? Yes. Did he give me40:07Wi-Fi? Yes. Do I have all of my limbs?40:10Yes. Am I able to walk? Yes. He gives me40:13all of that and I'm on all I want from40:15him is me me I I I it hits different40:19guys when you move that way. I'm not40:22saying that you know I'm not self. We're40:25all like that. But we have to come to40:27that realization at the very least to go40:31huh I'm all about myself. Amen. All40:35right. Ask your questions guys. That's40:37really at the heart of everything. I40:39think this is something I have to teach40:41every day.40:42Because so many people only speak only40:45think about themselves, right? They only40:48care about I mean I'm sorry to say what40:51they care about. There's nothing. It's40:54it's it's just to benefit themselves.40:56It's just to pacify them in one way,40:58shape, or form. It's so that we can41:01benefit ourselves. Do you guys41:03understand what I'm saying? Right?41:06Understand? Yeah. Amen. Good. Good.41:10Good. could you speak on Romans 10 17-2141:14that's the famous verse that says so41:16faith comes by hearing hearing the word41:17of God right and then he follows up with41:21have you guys not heard right that this41:24gospel went to the ends of the earth41:25essentially and he go and he uses Israel41:29right and uses Moses and says does41:31Israel not know right understand a41:36foolish nation right Isaiah he talks41:39about Um I'm not Isaiah Elijah right he41:42talks about these different types of41:44people right he leads with faith comes41:47by hearing so not by actions not by41:50feelings the word of God right amen41:55he speaks about this right because the41:58context in Romans 10 is why right why if42:04Israel is God's people why are so many42:08of these guys rejecting Jesus is and42:10then the Gentiles are receiving them.42:12That's the context, right? Amen. And so42:17when they're sitting there, he's42:19expressing this because religious42:21people, that's the thing about religious42:24people, right? Because they think42:27through heritage, through culture,42:29through through, you know, status and42:31and just, you know, their tradition,42:35they think, "Oh, I have access,42:38right? But then what what happens to42:41them when they see other people42:44receiving grace like the Gentiles more42:46than the chosen people of God? What42:48happens to them? They get irritated.42:50Nothing irritates pride more than42:53watching people who are not supposed to42:56gain something but gain it through42:57grace. That's that's in everybody. If a43:01person sits there and they're like43:03pathological liars but their life is43:06happier than yours, don't you get mad?43:08Right? Let's say there's a person at43:10your job who's doing horrible things43:13like cutting shortcuts, cutting corners,43:16stealing the tips, whatever. And then43:18all of a sudden next week they get43:20promoted. How hot are you for real?43:22You're pissed. Why? Understand what I'm43:26saying? Yeah. Even to the point where43:27you'll tell on them in the same stroke.43:29That's how it is, right? Grace is so43:33amazing, though. It kills43:34self-righteousness. That's the problem.43:36That means something's getting killed,43:39right? Grace is a killer. Believe it or43:42not, it saves people who are evil and it43:44kills people who are self-righteous43:46straight up, right? Israel heard them.43:50They heard God. They saw God face to43:52face. They saw Moses. They saw these43:55things. They wrote the Bibles. And yet,43:58they rejected Jesus and God the most.44:01Why? Because they were right and they44:04were good. Right? So hearing something44:09does not mean acknowledging something.44:11Who here doesn't know who Jesus is? My44:14old grandpa before he passed away knew44:17who Jesus was. He would make fun of him.44:20He would say, "Huh? How can one man pay44:24for everyone's sins? Does he know Jesus44:26paid for?" Of course, he's Asian. He44:28grew up in Korea. He's never even really44:31talked about Jesus. Never accepted44:32Jesus. And yet here we are. He knows44:35exactly what Jesus did. Isn't that kind44:36of funny? Right? At the end of the day,44:40salvation44:41doesn't come from you just hearing about44:43it. It comes from you believing it.44:46Everybody has heard it. That's what the44:47Bible says. All under heaven has heard.44:50Every knee shall bow. But the problem is44:53I don't believe that though. I believe44:54it myself. I don't even care if Jesus44:57died for me. I got my rent to pay44:59tomorrow. Okay? That's what I want. I45:03want you to pay my rent. I don't care if45:06Jesus died for me. My kids are vaping45:08right now. Do you know how much stress45:10that is? My kid is vaping. They're45:13smoking THC.45:16I don't care, Johnny. How do I get them45:18back to Jesus so that I could feel45:20better? Understand? I know Jesus is my45:23true husband, but dang, I've been going45:2517 years without a hubby. I want45:28cuddles, too. It's cold at night. Do you45:30understand? Right. Right? I'm not45:33talking about them. We are all like45:36this. Then what do you have to do? Ah45:39God save me. I believe. Help my45:41unbelief. I genuinely45:45just the person who you know what I'm45:47saying? Can't do anything. Look at me45:50God. Why do you love me God? Why do you45:52care about me? Amen. This is what uh45:56keeps us humble. Right? So many people45:59too, they come to this community. What46:01are they looking for? Community. They46:04come looking for exaltation.46:06So what? What's the problem with wanting46:09community and being exalted? I don't46:10want to be alone. Exactly. But you know46:13what's funny? How can you ever be alone46:15if God is everywhere all the time? Just46:18curious. Are you really alone? No. You46:21just don't believe in the one who's46:23always with you. Understand what I'm46:26saying? Make sense? That's what it is,46:30right? How are you ever alone? Like46:32genuinely speaking, you're not. But what46:35is it? Yeah, I am. I believe more than46:37what God says. God says, "I'm with you46:38to the ends of the earth." Meaning, he46:40will never leave you nor forsake you. He46:42says that, too. He says, "I neither46:43neither sleep nor slumber." So, he's46:45watching over you while you sleep.46:47Because Satan also doesn't sleep or46:49slumber. He's always attacking you in46:50your dreams. And yet, we feel alone.46:55Do you guys understand why feelings are46:57so stupid? Why feelings are horrible? Do47:00you understand now? Why I always like47:03scoff at feelings? Do you understand?47:07It's so annoying. It is the most47:10strongest weapon of Satan till this day.47:14He loves using feelings. People will47:17throw their lives away to feel good for47:20temporarily. They will throw away47:22eternity to feel good temporarily. Legit47:24though, that's how strong feelings are.47:27And the one thing I want to help you47:29guys with is overcoming that. Because47:32we've been trained and indoctrinated.47:34It's been ingrained in us that feelings47:37are so47:39emotional and so valid and so real and47:43so important. But again, I'm teaching47:46you guys, right? Acknowledgement. Okay,47:49I'm weak, right? I told you I told47:52Jeremy yesterday I'm sorry that I'm such47:54a bad leader. He's like what? I'm so mad47:57at you right now. I was like what?47:59You're mad at me? He's like because you48:02always say that. What really gets to me48:04Johnny is like you are a good leader but48:07like you you're saying sorry man I need48:10you to stop like thinking like that. So48:12right there I have to either acknowledge48:15what I think and feel or I have to48:17acknowledge what he says. And what do I48:18choose to do? Acknowledge what he says.48:20Okay, if you say I'm a good leader, then48:22I'm a good leader. I think I can do48:23better. I think I'm shortch changing you48:25guys. That's how I feel, but maybe not.48:28He goes, "Bro, you got to stop thinking48:30that. You got to You're so hard on48:31yourself." I said, "Hundo P. I'm very48:35hard on myself, but genuinely, bro, you48:37do everything. You fly out, you travel,48:39we do this, this, we free this, free48:41that, free live events, free, free,48:43free, free, free." Man, look at anybody48:45else who's really throwing free live48:47events. I thought about that. He's so48:48right. people out there like, "Yeah, you48:51can come watch me. $50 a ticket." Oh,48:53man. We throw a bomb bomb after service48:57if I have $50 a ticket. Right.49:00Genuinely, I was able to see like, "Oh,49:02that's so true." I mean, I'm not49:04disrespecting anybody, but anybody in49:07the Christian space, can you just go up49:09to them and just have their fruit? And49:11heck no. Right. He's like, "Even after49:13that, bro, you treat them out to eat and49:15stuff. Like, you go out, you take them49:17out to eat. We did that in Phoenix in in49:19Phoenix, Arizona multiple times. I did49:22it in New York. I did it in Phoenix. I49:23did it, you know, it's like, right? It's49:26like we almost spend the money to preach49:28the gospel instead of like charging49:30money to preach the gospel, right?49:32Right. Multiple of you guys have been to49:35these events, right? You wait towards49:37the end. Amen. I was able to go, man,49:41this is wild, you know, right? And49:43people joke, right? Yeah, we should do49:46this. We should do that. It's like, bro,49:47what are you talking about? You know,49:50the one thing I've learned from Pastor49:52Kim, too, is there are times where49:55people can't always appreciate the49:57things that we do. And I agree. I agree.50:00Right? He's like, they don't appreciate50:02it. They just automatically assume it.50:05Guys, that's the nastiest thing you can50:07do as a human being is automatically50:09assume, yeah, this is what I'm supposed50:11to have.50:13Really? So, if you guys want to go50:15deeper with the Bible unlocks and just50:17having these biblical resources, guys,50:19we created an app called Core of the50:20Heart Daily. Every single morning, I50:22write a personal daily devotional. It50:24helps you start your day with God and50:26make God a habit in your life. We also50:28have the King James version Bible where50:30you can annotate, you can highlight. We50:32also have a Gospel bot where it's50:34trained on my teachings for the past 1050:36years. All my secret notes, my sermons,50:39all the lives and the Q&As's, everything50:41is in there. So, it will answer your50:43questions when you don't have that50:44pastor at 2:00 a.m. in the night time50:46and you're spiraling. And check it out,50:48guys, if you want to download it. It's50:49on the app store called Core of the50:51Heart Daily. Link is in the description.50:53Back to the episode. Do you guys know50:55what we really deserve? Can I tell you50:57guys? It may sound a little harsh, but50:58I'll be honest with you. Do you know the51:00one thing that we're going to receive51:03that no one is going to be able to51:05escape? Death. Right? Do you know why51:09God didn't promise a big house and a51:12nice car and family? All that is just51:15part of life, right? But do you know51:18what you're going to have for sure51:19that's guaranteed? Death. You're going51:21to in a 100 years none of us will be51:23here. But there's a reasoning behind51:25that though. It's because that's what we51:26deserve. That's what we're going to get.51:28Everybody's going to have that. Why51:31though? Because that's what we genuinely51:33deserve. You know, if you move like51:36that, dang, I deserve to die, then every51:39day you have life, are you going to be51:40happy or sad? Sheesh. That's how you51:43have gratitude, which affects your51:44attitude. That's how you have to live.51:47We were eating the other night and one51:50of the team members was like, "Johnny,51:52are you thankful, right? You seem so51:55happy." I said, "You know why? Cuz I51:58could never have this in prison." That's52:00the thing I thought about. Yeah, I'm52:02happy. Why? Because I'll never be able52:05to have this type of food in prison.52:07Even this small thing of food that y'all52:09love, I can't have that. But do I still52:13want to choose places I want to eat? Of52:14course. Does that make mean I'm52:16ungrateful? No. Right. But if you just52:19think about it, wow, I'm so thankful to52:20even have food.52:23And and there goes Jeremy making fun of52:25me again. We're eating hot pot. He's52:27like Johnny the type to to take the hot52:29pot soup and pour it on people in a52:30riot. I was dying. I was crying. I had52:34the type to to take the the the the52:36skewers and skew people in the eyeball52:38like type stuff, you know? Right. Right.52:41I'm just like, "Oh my gosh, bro. Is just52:43can't be serious, bro. It's so be so for52:45real." But it's so funny. Right. In my52:48heart, I thought about it genuinely. Oh,52:51I'm a person who52:53Yeah, I can't do anything, but I'm so52:56thankful that I get to do certain52:57things. I'll tell you what, guys. People53:01without the heart cannot preach the53:04gospel. If you don't have that heart,53:06you cannot preach the gospel because53:08you're exposing yourself to talking53:10about God, who is such a touchy subject53:12for so many people with pretty much zero53:16benefits except other than God is happy,53:19[snorts] which is a huge benefit. But53:21I'm talking about benefits now, right?53:24Store up treasures in heaven, it says,53:26right? But those treasures ain't coming53:27right now, right?53:29There's so many things that you have to53:31put yourself out, right? People are53:34getting the app for free. They're so53:36happy, right? They're, you know, but53:40there's so many things where people just53:42don't they don't even appreciate. But53:45what I love about our community is53:47there's no one really like our53:48community, right? You guys don't really53:51like Yeah, there's some that chastise53:53and try to be like, "Ah, I don't agree53:55with this." That's fine. That's fine.53:57But for the most part, a lot of you guys53:59are very like, "Okay, I need to hear54:02certain things like this." But54:03understand one thing. You're only like54:05that because of God. You're only like54:07that because you receive grace. You're54:09only like that because I'm being honest.54:12The servant nurtures you guys. You54:15wouldn't be like that if we didn't go54:17jump on these discourse stages and54:18chastise, teach you humility from54:21different perspectives, teach you how to54:23read heart posture, and peel layers of54:25an onion. You wouldn't be like that. You54:28weren't like that is what I'm saying. If54:30you really think about it, make sense.54:33You weren't right. Amen. We constantly54:37poor for free. By the way, I seen people54:42creating a class on baptism. I was54:44shocked. You need to go through a class.54:47I think they they charge it was like54:48$800. You charge $800. It's like a it's54:52like a seminary, right? to sit there and54:55go through it and if you prove yourself54:57worthy then we baptize you after. I've55:00seen that. I've seen people on and and55:03most YouTube is like this. Most Tik Tok,55:07YouTube specifically, people especially55:10the big, you know, streamer people, they55:12only answer questions that are super55:14chatted. You know what that means,55:16right? When they donate money, they'll55:18answer that question that's super55:20chatted. It's so weird. on the opposite55:22end. We don't even Sometimes people pay55:25they drop like 50 bucks and I and I55:27missed the super chat cuz I'm over here55:29answering everybody else's questions.55:31Right? [snorts] Understand what I'm55:33saying? Right? So, I'm not saying that55:37it's a bad thing, right? I'm not saying55:39that you charging money is a bad thing.55:42I think it can have its pros and cons55:44personally, but I'm just trying to point55:48out that there are so many things that55:51we've received by grace that it's it's55:54it's kind of hard for us to see those55:57things. Amen. It's very difficult for us56:01to see those things, you know. So, I56:04want you guys to if you really want to56:06be happy, just constantly think about56:08the things in your life that most people56:11don't even have. They don't have certain56:14things. If your kids aren't listening,56:17there are people whose kids have died.56:19See the difference?56:22If your husband is a X, Y, and Z type of56:24person, there are people who've lost56:26their husbands who are completely56:28single. Right? Make sense? Right?56:31There's so many things, right? At the56:34end of the day, at the end of the day,56:37we have to think about perspective here56:40because if you don't think about56:41perspective, then you're never going to56:44be grateful. You'll always think, "Oh, I56:48deserve this. I deserve that. I Right."56:51Right. There's so many things. And I I56:55hope and my hope is for any of you guys56:58and all of you guys to at least live57:00with the heart posture of as bad as your57:03life is right now. There are so many57:06people who would trade places with you57:09right now. They really would. Don't57:12believe me? Go to Liberia, Africa.57:15Go to the FLLAS in you know uh Brazil.57:20go to places like Iraq, Iran, Pakistan,57:24where you can't even freely express your57:27religion, especially not Christianity.57:30And we over here mad because one or two57:33of our questions didn't get answered the57:35way we wanted. We're mad when people57:38legit don't have running water. We're57:40mad57:42because we have to pay $33 a month to go57:47extra deep. Right? There's so much heart57:50posture that we have to learn, brothers57:52and sisters. I've realized a lot of us57:55are really just like children in adult57:57bodies. Myself included. You guys know58:00I'm a big old kid. And I don't say this58:02to be disrespectful.58:04Understand what I'm saying? Right. Amen.58:07Right. Yeah. So, if you guys listen to58:10what I'm saying deeply, right? Amen.58:14Right. So, so again, if you're going to58:16answer with prideful things, right? Then58:20I can't I can't address it, but I'm58:22going to address it because I want you58:23guys to change, right? So, this is a58:26good question, but it's really really58:28good for us to listen, right? Maybe I'm58:30not fully understanding what you mean.58:32If God created us with feelings, then58:34why is it so bad to feel? Valid, right?58:38I think our thoughts can be deceitful,58:39but feelings, you can't escape how from58:42how your brain responds to stuff without58:44understanding it and being gentle to58:46yourself. Right? I find interesting the58:48idea of our shadow self and58:50understanding that side rather than58:52suppressing it by demonizing it. Correct58:54me if I'm wrong entirely. Right? So, can58:58I ask you a question? How many times59:01have you read the Bible to understand59:02what demonizing something is? to59:05understand what the Bible says about our59:07feelings, our emotions, our thoughts,59:10right? It's it's an honest question,59:13right? I don't know if it's coming from59:15pride, uh your your heart posture, but59:17we can we can we can discover that,59:19right? Amen. Because who's to say59:23feelings are things that are59:25trustworthy,59:26right? Cuz you're saying, "I think our59:28thoughts can be deceitful." Sure. But59:30feelings so feelings don't deceive.59:33Let's let's think about that, right?59:35Let's think about that. Any of you guys59:38ever had a first love in your life?59:40Yeah. Can I ask you an honest question?59:43Did you guys lose your virginity to59:46them? Did you give them, you know, try59:48with them and really try to love them?59:50Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Yes. Now, here's59:53the kicker. When you were loving them,59:56how did it honestly feel? Did were you59:58at any point 100% sure that that was1:00:00your person? Yeah. Yes. You felt great,1:00:03right? Of course. Exploring everything1:00:05together, making memories. Yeah. But1:00:08here's the kicker. Are you still with1:00:10that person? Remember, you felt1:00:12intensely. You love them extremely.1:00:15Feelings, right? What happened? No, no,1:00:19no. Feelings don't lie. Thoughts lie.1:00:21Feelings though, come on. You felt it.1:00:24You even had kids with them. Some of1:00:26you, what happened? Right? So, it's not1:00:29that hard to understand. Do you1:00:32understand what I'm saying? It is hard1:00:33if you think you're all that. It is hard1:00:36if you're filtering things is what I'm1:00:37saying. So the difficulty here is not1:00:40about being big brain or too smart. It's1:00:42about being too good. Amen. Of course1:00:45you guys are going to feel practical1:00:46feelings. If somebody comes up to me and1:00:48smacks me in the face, you think I'm not1:00:49going to get mad. But that's we don't1:00:51stay there. We think, wait a minute,1:00:55where is this coming from? Okay. Okay,1:00:56so if I want to react the way Johnny1:00:58Chang would react, which is beat the1:01:00dogish out of this person, where am I1:01:02going to end up? I'm going to catch my1:01:03third strike and I'm doing life without1:01:05parole, right? So, should I trust my1:01:09feelings? It's it generated from my1:01:11brain chemistry and all the synapses and1:01:14all the dendrites connecting. And we can1:01:16be big brain, too. But the issue here is1:01:20we're not even understanding1:01:21foundationally that we're the ones who1:01:24are genuinely,1:01:25how do I say, filtering those things. Do1:01:28you guys understand what I'm saying? But1:01:30here's the issue, Mary. Right? When you1:01:33say that makes sense. Thanks for1:01:35answering. Here's the thing that I want1:01:36to peel back a little bit more. If you1:01:39only follow when things make sense to1:01:41you, who's God? Very simple, very, very1:01:45simple answer. That's all I'm saying.1:01:49So, this is why feelings are are1:01:51deceitful.1:01:53Make sense, right guys? I don't want any1:01:57of you guys to come in here pump faking.1:01:59Do you know what that means? Fake1:02:01thinking that we're smart. Because the1:02:03truth is those things get exposed when1:02:06the Holy Spirit speaks. It's a little1:02:08bit different. We get to the root. You1:02:11guys focus on the fruit, but we got to1:02:13get to the root of that. No root, no1:02:15fruit, right? I'm teaching you guys how1:02:17to get to the root of everything. Amen.1:02:20Right. So again, if Johnny Chang only1:02:24follows Pastor Kim, when Pastor Kim1:02:27makes sense to Johnny Chang, who's God?1:02:31Johnny Chang is God. If that's the case,1:02:33do you understand what I'm saying? Hey1:02:34Jesus, you know, I've had atheists come1:02:37up to me and go, you and this was1:02:40recently too. Johnny Chang, let me ask1:02:43you something, right?1:02:45What's so wrong with you trying to1:02:50debate people which I believe are is1:02:52productive at times and making people1:02:54see that they may be wrong cuz you have1:02:57some really valid points. Now I'm1:02:58atheist and I don't believe in Jesus but1:03:00I also have never seen anyone really1:03:02make it as simple and digestible as you1:03:04and not be judgmental towards other1:03:06people or combative. So he said I came1:03:09into one of your lives and you had1:03:11mentioned and I don't think this is a1:03:12bad question. You had mentioned that an1:03:14atheist, which I am, has said to you one1:03:17time in your walk early on that if you1:03:20can prove to me that on a molecular1:03:23level, Jesus bent water and made it as1:03:26hard as concrete, which is impossible1:03:29because it was water. It wasn't frozen,1:03:32right? There's no details on whether or1:03:33not if it's frozen, of course you can1:03:35walk on water. But they said walk on1:03:37water, not walk on ice. So if you can1:03:40prove to me, Johnny, look at how big1:03:42brain he is, right? That Jesus on a1:03:46molecular level, if there's proof,1:03:48whether it's outside sources, whether1:03:49it's eyewitness testimonies, whatever it1:03:52is, I will believe that your Jesus can1:03:54perform miracles, right? When when I1:03:58looked at this question, the audacity of1:04:01that is kind of crazy. But when they're1:04:03looking at me, they don't even know that1:04:05what they're saying is so off, right?1:04:09Basically, what they're saying is, you1:04:11ready? I know I'm finite, meaning I'm1:04:15not infinite. I'm limited. Okay? I'm1:04:19limited. And this Bible and what Jesus1:04:22does is unlimited. But I still think I'm1:04:26as smart as Jesus and God is to where if1:04:29you explained it to me in my little1:04:31finite brain, I will understand it. Yet,1:04:34and so I asked him, "Do you understand1:04:36quantum physics?" He's like, "No." Why1:04:39not? If you put your mind to it, do you1:04:41think you can? He's like, "To be honest,1:04:43no." Right? I I I I don't think so. I'm1:04:46a polysai major. He's a political1:04:48science major. He says he's not really1:04:50good with math and all of those things.1:04:51He he kept it real. That's what I love1:04:52about atheists. They will keep it real1:04:54with you. So, let me get this straight.1:04:56Quantum physics is easier than the1:04:59Bible. The Bible makes quantum physics1:05:02look like tic-tac-toe. Respectfully,1:05:04right? And yet, you can't even1:05:07understand that. Do we agree on that?1:05:08Yes, I agree. Do you understand that?1:05:10Your mindset, however, is I can1:05:12understand God though, even though I1:05:14don't understand quantum physics. Now,1:05:15make that makes sense before I answer1:05:17your question. And he's like, "Ah, oh,1:05:20that's a real real good way to steal man1:05:22me." I'm like, "Dude, that's not what it1:05:23is, though. I'm just trying to make it1:05:25clear. I'm I'm placating to what you're1:05:27saying. You're smart. You're super big1:05:28brain. You're amazing." But and then I1:05:31followed with that line. If you only1:05:33follow when you agree1:05:35and when things make sense to you,1:05:38where is the concept and the context of1:05:41faith? Faith in fact is you don't agree.1:05:45You don't understand, but you have to1:05:47trust it. And God says in the Bible1:05:49without faith and he finished what's so1:05:51crazy as atheist he finished it's1:05:53impossible to please God right so what h1:05:55oh oh I grew up Catholic he kept it real1:05:57so you know so what is the heart posture1:06:00here then the heart posture is and I1:06:03asked him what [snorts] made you turn1:06:04away well here's the thing right they1:06:06did legalism they told me this and1:06:08that's why I became atheist right so you1:06:10didn't even turn away because of God you1:06:12turned away because the people1:06:13misrepresented God and you didn't1:06:15understand that you thought that's what1:06:16represented God That's not what it1:06:18represents. And that's what blew his1:06:20mind. At the end of the day, brothers1:06:22and sisters, if you're sitting there and1:06:25you come in here and you think you're1:06:27super smart, I'm not going to doubt1:06:29that. But I am going to test that1:06:30against scripture. And if you don't know1:06:33and you're sitting there and you're1:06:34going, I do know, you're going to make1:06:36yourself look like a fool. Understand1:06:39what I'm saying? Make sense, guys?1:06:42Right? That's the issue here. We don't1:06:44argue. We just expose things. says, "Hey1:06:47guys, you're great. You're amazing. No1:06:49word." No. No. Of course. I I I I agree.1:06:52Are you amazing according to God,1:06:54though? We're going to test that. We're1:06:55going to put that against scripture. And1:06:57if you're not, maybe, just maybe, humble1:07:00down a little bit. Understand what I'm1:07:02saying? Make sense? It's just difficult,1:07:05guys. It's difficult for anyone who1:07:07thinks that they're that's why I'm1:07:08trying to tell you guys. The Bible says1:07:10it's very clear. As great as you are, we1:07:13are not called to compare horizontally.1:07:15We are called to compare vertically.1:07:18That means, are you as smart and as good1:07:23as Jesus? If you're not, it's not1:07:25demonizing. It's keeping it real. It's1:07:27humility. It's going, "Hey, God, I feel1:07:31like my feelings are good. What do you1:07:33say about my feelings?" Well, Jeremiah1:07:3517:9 says, "The heart where feelings is1:07:38the container, the lev, the deep, deep,1:07:40deep desires, right? in our hearts is1:07:44what? Deceitful, desperately wicked. Who1:07:48can know it? Right, God? I don't feel1:07:50like my heart is deceitful, but I'm1:07:53going to just use common sense here. Can1:07:56God, you lie? No, you can't. And it's1:07:59pretty clear. There's nothing that needs1:08:01to be exed here. There's nothing that we1:08:03have to go to the original lexicon to1:08:05understand. It's very clear. The heart1:08:07is deceitful above all things. Meaning1:08:09the top liar and desperately wicked. Not1:08:12just bad, super duper bad. Who can know1:08:15it? Means nobody even knows this. Nobody1:08:17even thinks that about themselves.1:08:18That's pretty easy to interpret if you1:08:20think about that. But the problem here1:08:22is I don't think so. So now I have to1:08:25get to that position. Am I right or is1:08:27God right? Pretty simple if you just1:08:30weigh those odds. Do you guys understand1:08:33what I'm saying? [snorts] Pretty simple.1:08:35I don't know. You know, right? And it1:08:38even makes sense. She had a very valid1:08:39point. God created feelings. He did. And1:08:42then he gave you another heart, which1:08:44she doesn't know. Ezekiel 36:26. God1:08:47says, "I will give you a new heart and1:08:49put a new spirit in you." What's the new1:08:52heart, brothers and sisters? It's the1:08:54heart to deny the old one. It's the1:08:57heart to go, "Oh, my whole life I've1:08:59been trusting my feelings. Now I1:09:02understand, God, why you say don't lean1:09:04on your own understanding. I get now why1:09:06you say don't trust your own heart. Duh.1:09:08Because this world is very clear. Follow1:09:11God. No. Follow your thoughts. Follow1:09:14your feelings. Follow your emotions.1:09:16Follow your gut. Well, what if my gut1:09:18was right? Exactly. So then God's a liar1:09:20then. Cuz your gut was right one time1:09:23when God's right all the time. Gotcha.1:09:26So that's again pride. That's again you1:09:28leaking that you don't understand.1:09:30Understand guys? That's what I'm saying.1:09:32Guys, our live events are getting super1:09:34packed. We genuinely need some help. So,1:09:37we're looking for a live events1:09:39producer. So, I'm going to be completely1:09:41honest about this. There's a lot of1:09:42moving pieces from booking a church,1:09:44finding the vendors, scanning in the1:09:46people, the volunteers, the merch. Like,1:09:48there's so many moving pieces that I'm1:09:50just going to say right now, we're1:09:51looking for a professional. We're1:09:52looking for someone who has done this1:09:53before. If you're watching and you're1:09:54like, "Oh, I think I can help their live1:09:56events." Honestly, you're probably not1:09:57the pick. But if you're watching and1:09:59you're saying, "Oh, I've done this1:10:00before. I've thrown live events. I've1:10:01even maybe worked in a church space.1:10:03Please reach out. We're looking for a1:10:04killer, someone who can really1:10:06coordinate everything. It's a ton of1:10:07moving pieces. At the end of the day,1:10:09it's nothing too hard or complicated,1:10:10but it's a lot of details, a lot of1:10:12moving pieces. And for us to be doing1:10:14this every single month, once a month or1:10:16even more, it's almost impossible1:10:17because we each run different branches1:10:18of the business. So, for us to do these1:10:20ourselves, it's becoming unscalable. So,1:10:22if you think, you know, you know, I can1:10:24come in, take this over, I'll learn from1:10:26them, we'll teach you everything. and1:10:27you think I can take the information and1:10:29go throw them live events every single1:10:31month in a different city for the rest1:10:32of the next 10 years. If you're hearing1:10:34this and you think that's you, please1:10:36reach out. We pay super competitively.1:10:38We have honestly a really good pay for1:10:39you guys cuz we really want to do this.1:10:41Live events are super important to1:10:42Johnny and all of us and all of you1:10:44guys. So, we want to keep doing them. We1:10:46want to keep making them super amazing.1:10:48And that's why honestly, we're looking1:10:49for a killer. Like it we're not really1:10:51going to hire anyone to test them out or1:10:53try to train. We're looking for someone1:10:54who has done this before and is ready to1:10:55do it for us. and we're going to pay you1:10:57very handsomely for it. So, please reach1:11:00out. The best way to do it, there's a1:11:01link in the description. There's a job1:11:02application that details everything and1:11:04the pay. So, please fill it out. Please1:11:06pay attention to the instructions.1:11:08There's a lot of instructions that if1:11:09you don't pay attention to them, we're1:11:10not even going to look at your1:11:11application. So, cutting to the chase,1:11:13we're looking for a live events killer.1:11:15If you are that person or if you know1:11:17that person, if someone at your church1:11:18maybe throws the events, if you want to1:11:20recommend it to a friend or a family1:11:21member, we want an awesome beast live1:11:24events producer. The last thing I'll add1:11:26is you're going to be handling1:11:28everything from thousand to 5,000 person1:11:30live events. We do prison ministry,1:11:32overseas trips. We want to do we have1:11:34big plans to take core of the heart1:11:36global and you would be the lynch pin1:11:38that controls all of that. So with that1:11:41being said, again like Aaron said, I'm1:11:43only harping it again. There's a lot of1:11:45people that are applying because you1:11:47have a heart for the mission, which is1:11:48great, but only because of past1:11:51experiences. We have a very particular1:11:53vision of what this person needs to be.1:11:55We're also being advised by people that1:11:57have done this at extremely high level1:11:59who are helping us vet the applications.1:12:01So, it's going to be a very like select1:12:05group of people that are looking at your1:12:07application. So, please do not be1:12:08offended if we don't pick you. Just1:12:10understand we have a lot of input and we1:12:13are very specific on what we need. So,1:12:15we're very appreciative if you try, but1:12:17please again understand that we've we've1:12:19gone through a lot of ups and downs to1:12:21understand what we need or want.1:12:23>> So, if you want to apply, the link is in1:12:24the description. Also, for anyone else1:12:26still listening, if you want to come to1:12:27these awesome live events, text in1:12:29afters to 323-61335771:12:33for free live events in a city near you1:12:35>> or download Core of the Heart daily.1:12:37>> I genuinely want to thank you guys for1:12:40tuning in and just supporting Core of1:12:42the Heart. Without you guys, we1:12:44obviously we wouldn't be able to go1:12:45global. And so we are looking for that1:12:48that perfect piece, right, to uh take us1:12:51global and help us with the live event.1:12:53So if that's you, we really do1:12:55appreciate you guys for for applying and1:12:58um hope to work with you guys soon. See,1:13:00the beautiful thing about the Bible is1:13:02it it reads your heart like a freaking1:13:05book, bro. I don't know any of you guys,1:13:08but one thing I'm very glad about is1:13:10that we put in the work to know the1:13:12word. And if the word knows you and I1:13:15understand the word, then we can draw1:13:16that conclusion. I at least understand1:13:18parts of what you're saying in your1:13:19heart posture, too. Amen. That's how we1:13:22lead, right? So, I want y'all to1:13:25understand how deep and how many layers1:13:28and levels there are to this. People1:13:30charge for things like this. They1:13:31literally sit there and take time to1:13:33mentor people and teach them. People1:13:35write books about this. You know, all1:13:38those mega church, they write books1:13:39about this. This is a journey I want to1:13:41teach you guys. They they sell their1:13:42devotionals. We give devotionals for1:13:44free. We give this game and knowledge1:13:46free. But the one thing about big brain1:13:48smart people is they go, "So what? Let1:13:50me just see how good it is. If I think1:13:52it's good, then I think it's valuable.1:13:54If I don't think it's valuable, I don't1:13:55think it's valuable." That's the problem1:13:57with people. And that's why they can't1:13:59keep a relationship. They can't love1:14:01God. They're continuously living up and1:14:03down. Because when they're happy,1:14:04they're happy. When they're sad, they're1:14:06sad. They spiral every day almost or1:14:08every other day. It's continuous run by1:14:10their own feelings and they can't even1:14:12see it. And that's why I hate Satan cuz1:14:14Satan is a mfer. He is so good at going1:14:18your feelings are right and God created1:14:20it and then runs in the shadow. That's1:14:23what I hate about Satan. Have you1:14:25noticed you guys never say why Satan?1:14:28You always say why God? That's how good1:14:30he is. He's made all of the spotlight1:14:33turn to God instead of turning to him.1:14:36That's the problem. None of us ever go,1:14:39"Why, Satan, you did this to me. Why?"1:14:42We always go, "It's God." And he goes,1:14:44"Hey, respectfully, God has provision1:14:46over all." Right? He has everything. He1:14:48has power over death. Every I can't do1:14:50anything without his thing. I'm a dog on1:14:52a le. I can't do anything. It's all him.1:14:55And without even realizing it, we go,1:14:57"Amen. You're you're you god dang right,1:15:00dude. That's so true, Satan. You know1:15:03what? You're right, bro. If God controls1:15:05everything, how come he don't make1:15:06things better? How come he lets babies1:15:08die? How come he lets cancer? How come1:15:09he let Yeah, you're You know what,1:15:11Satan? Amen to you, brother. Why God?1:15:13You start getting mad without even1:15:15realizing it. Understand? Not1:15:18demonizing, right? We're literally1:15:21calling it for call a spade a spade,1:15:23brothers and sisters, is what I'm1:15:24saying. There's an observation here.1:15:27Amen. a passionate observation 100%.1:15:29Don't look at my tonality because1:15:31somebody can be super great with their1:15:34tonality and still be super evil. You1:15:38guys understand what I'm saying, right?1:15:39If I was like, "Hey guys, you guys are1:15:41just a bunch of stupid idiots. Oh, you1:15:43guys are amazing stupid idiots." Look at1:15:45my tonality. It's different. But it1:15:48doesn't change the fact of what I'm1:15:50saying to y'all. Understand? So, don't1:15:52take the tonality. Oh, he's angry. He1:15:54must be something. Wow. No, no, no, no,1:15:56no. Tonality does not equate to truth1:15:58and it doesn't equate to disrespect1:16:00either. Amen. Right? We have to learn1:16:03genuinely here guys, brothers and1:16:05sisters. We have to learn and I promise1:16:07you, you will be such strong warriors of1:16:09God. Talks about this in first1:16:12Thessalonians, right? You will be so1:16:14strong you will sit there and nothing1:16:16will waver you. Isn't that what you1:16:17want? You sit there and go, "It's cool."1:16:20Amen. Right? That's what James said.1:16:23James Ston, he's a lawyer, divorce1:16:26lawyer. He said, "The one thing that I1:16:28like, Johnny, right, is that you sit1:16:31there and you're confident. Even though1:16:33I ask these questions and I say God is1:16:35not a loving God cuz he sends people to1:16:36hell, it doesn't bother you." I'm like,1:16:38"Amen. Hallelujah." You know why? Cuz1:16:40we're confident in what we believe.1:16:43People that get all worked up, it's1:16:45like, why do you have to get worked up?1:16:46If the Bible has recorded that people1:16:48will talk trash, it's the Bible has1:16:51recorded that people will spit in your1:16:53face, will question you, and they're not1:16:55even smart, but they're questioning you,1:16:57right? The Pharisees did the same thing1:16:59to Jesus. They thought they were hella1:17:01smart. Honestly, they thought they were1:17:03hella smart. It's so funny. Imagine1:17:06going to Jesus, all knowing, allloving1:17:08God in the flesh, and trying to test1:17:10him. The only way you can do that is1:17:14because you think you're the ish. You1:17:16think you're all that? Nobody in their1:17:18right mind, any of you, I believe, if1:17:21you saw Jesus right now, would test him.1:17:22Are you kidding me? You know, there was1:17:24another person that tested him, too. His1:17:26name was Satan, not Kashim, said Afim.1:17:28Right? He was evil. But yet, what we1:17:32what do we do every day? We do test God.1:17:34Well, God, if this makes sense, why do1:17:36this, do that, do this, do you1:17:37understand? We really need to learn,1:17:40brothers and sisters, genuinely what it1:17:42comes down to. We don't even know,1:17:45right? We don't even know. And what does1:17:47God say? And I'll finish with this on1:17:50the cross. What did he utter? Father,1:17:52forgive them for they're super big and1:17:55they go against me. No. Father, forgive1:17:58them for they're super obedient and1:18:00disobedient and thought that they were1:18:01No. Father, forgive them cuz they hella1:18:04lusted. They slept around. They had1:18:05orgies. They did all this stuff. No.1:18:07What does he say? Father, forgive them1:18:09for they do not know. You know why1:18:12people are burning in hell? cuz they1:18:13don't know, but they think they do.1:18:16Sheesh. Ain't that the scariest thing?1:18:19And that's why he has those scriptures.1:18:22Not everyone who says, "Lord, Lord,"1:18:23shall enter my kingdom, but those who do1:18:25the will of my father who art in heaven1:18:28in those days they shall profess unto1:18:30me. Right? They're calling him Lord, and1:18:33they're thinking, "I know what I'm1:18:35doing. I'm doing well." And those are1:18:37the exact people he goes, "Depart from1:18:40me. I don't even know you. I've never1:18:42knew you. You who practice lawlessness,1:18:44iniquity. Interesting. Interesting. So1:18:49Jesus ties it all together, right?1:18:52Father, forgive them. They need1:18:54forgiveness. Why? Cuz they don't even1:18:55know. They don't know that they're1:18:56killing me. They think that they're1:18:58doing your work. They think that they're1:18:59all that. They think they know1:19:01something. They don't know what they're1:19:02doing. They don't know anything. So what1:19:05does a person have to represent and re1:19:08realize? Peter realized something. I1:19:10don't know anything. I'm not a disciple.1:19:12I'm a man who can only deny Jesus three1:19:14times. So much so that I went back to1:19:16fishing. I went back to my old life. And1:19:20that's when God established him. Sheesh.1:19:23He didn't give him the keys and build1:19:26the church through him when he was1:19:27chopping people's ears off. He didn't1:19:30give him the keys when he was walking on1:19:32water and the only disciple. Do you know1:19:34when he gave him the keys to be a1:19:36shepherd to feed his sheep? When he1:19:38realized, I'm nothing. I can't do it.1:19:42That's when everything came to him. Same1:19:44with Paul. When Paul was like, I'm part1:19:46of the Sanhedrin. You guys call1:19:48yourselves Christians. I'm the real1:19:49Christian. And then Jesus met him and1:19:51said, why do you kick against the1:19:52pricks? Kicking against a rose bush is1:19:54only going to hurt you. Who are you? I1:19:56am thou am who thou persecutest. You are1:20:00persecuting me. He's like, what? Oh my1:20:02gosh, I thought I was serving you the1:20:03whole time. No, you're persecuting me.1:20:05You're burning people. You're holding1:20:06the colts for the Sanhedrin while they1:20:09stone Stefan to death. You are nothing.1:20:12You don't love me, bro. Oh my gosh. I'm1:20:14sorry. I repent. Once he realized that,1:20:16God established him to to reach1:20:18Thessalonia,1:20:20to reach Galatia, Ephesus, Corinth. Oh1:20:23yeah, he started using him. But what1:20:26about y'all? That's what I want to1:20:27challenge you guys today. What about1:20:28y'all? I'm so smart. I am amazing. I'm1:20:30great. I'm great. I'm this and that.1:20:31Yeah. And you're gonna stay like that.1:20:33I'm so great. I'm amazing. I don't know1:20:34anything. Exactly. That's what I want to1:20:37challenge you guys out of today. Get out1:20:40of yourselves respectfully. Y'all don't1:20:42know nothing. Understand? I'm sorry. I1:20:44got to keep it against you sometimes.1:20:45Y'all don't know jack daily squat as1:20:48they say in the streets. You You don't1:20:49got to pot to piss in respectfully.1:20:51Can't lead your own life and do nothing.1:20:53Can't even read the Bible without1:20:54falling asleep. Can't even pray1:20:56consistently every day. You going to1:20:57tell me that you guys know what's up.1:20:59Stop playing respectfully. Amen. Right.1:21:04My feelings, my feelings, my feelings.1:21:06Yeah, that's all you can talk about.1:21:08Amen. And yet, that's why we're here.1:21:11We're gonna get out of that together.1:21:13I'm going to help you through the Holy1:21:14Spirit and through this app and through1:21:16all of these main stages to lift you out1:21:18of that mindset. Don't worry, you need1:21:21the servants. We're going to be here.1:21:22We're going to help you through the1:21:23through the blood of Jesus and him alone1:21:26and the Holy Spirit. Okay? And you will1:21:28grow. Mark my words, you will grow. You1:21:32will. There's many people that have1:21:33already here, especially for the1:21:35newcomers. You just got to listen.1:21:37You're going to feel some type of way1:21:38about me early on. Everyone does. You're1:21:40going to think you're all that cuz1:21:41you're unlearning everything. And then1:21:43it's going to come to you and you're1:21:44going to go, "Oh my gosh, I really don't1:21:45know what I was doing." And then you're1:21:47going to feel it a month from now, two1:21:48months from now, a week from now, a year1:21:50from now. Wow, I can't believe I came in1:21:53here. And you start getting secondhand1:21:56embarrassment. Respectfully, that's just1:21:59the truth. Every single person in here1:22:01with that cot tag on the side has been1:22:03through this. People have rolled their1:22:05eyes at me, right? Literally. No, I'm1:22:09not doing that. They're still trying to1:22:10defend. Rolled their eyes at me, right?1:22:13I know this. I know that. What? I know.1:22:15What are you talking about? Like1:22:17honestly, people have went against us,1:22:19left the congregation, talked trash1:22:20about us, came back in here, literally.1:22:23But why though? Because we can't1:22:26sugarcoat things for you guys. [snorts]1:22:28Do you understand? I can't exalt you1:22:30guys because I have to answer for you1:22:32guys in front of God. James 3 speaks1:22:34about this. Amen. Right? And if you know1:22:37you're nothing, it's okay. Stay in here.1:22:39You will learn. You will learn. The only1:22:43thing that matters, brothers and1:22:44sisters, is the gospel. Just so you guys1:22:47know, the only thing that matters,1:22:49brothers and sisters, is the gospel.1:22:52Nothing matters. It doesn't matter what1:22:54addiction you have. It doesn't matter if1:22:56you're lustful. The only thing that1:22:58defeats everything is the gospel. But1:23:01the only issue is you don't fully1:23:02believe it. That's why you struggle. You1:23:05struggle with your porn. You struggle1:23:07with those things. Not because you're1:23:09weak. I would argue you're too strong.1:23:11You're stronger than the word. You1:23:13struggle with your, you know, uh,1:23:16anxiety because you think you can1:23:18control things. You struggle with, I1:23:19don't know, your OCD because you think1:23:21you can control things. Understand? You1:23:24struggle with any of those things. PTSD,1:23:27past trauma, you insert it here.1:23:30Whatever you struggle with, insert that.1:23:32Why? Because you trust that more than1:23:36trusting the word of God. So then, how1:23:38do we then grow? By realizing, oh my1:23:42gosh, what I'm doing is wrong. It's not1:23:44correct. God is right and I am wrong.1:23:47Keep saying that every single morning1:23:49and you will see the change in your1:23:51life. Keep tuning in. Use the free1:23:54version of the app if you have to to1:23:56read the devotional. Start your, you1:23:58know, your your uh day with God. 151:24:01minutes. [snorts] Understand? Re1:24:04relisten to these main stages. Reist to1:24:07these things, right? But again, if1:24:10you're good, you're not even if you hear1:24:12this, you won't be able to. And don't1:24:13worry about that either. God will also1:24:15break that too. God will also break that1:24:18too. Amen. Right? Just understand, guys.1:24:22Most of our problems come from us not1:24:24being exalted. Understand? Most of it is1:24:29I want to be good. I want to be great.1:24:30And people don't recognize that,1:24:31including God. And so we get angry.1:24:34Guys, acknowledge that we're not good.1:24:37And what I'm so thankful about is that1:24:40although we're not good like that,1:24:41right, myself included, didn't Jesus die1:24:44for us? That's what we lean on. Yeah.1:24:48Every day you're going to struggle.1:24:49Okay. But didn't Jesus die for us,1:24:51though? And is isn't that why he died1:24:53for us? Because we suck. So let me ask1:24:55you something. What's the problem then?1:24:57We are exactly who Jesus came for.1:25:00Sheesh. Hallelujah. Amen. Shalah. That's1:25:03what I'm so thankful about is every time1:25:06I sit here and I'm like, "Man, I suck."1:25:09And God goes, "Duh. That's why I died1:25:12for you." Oh, shoot. And then I'm happy1:25:13again. Do you guys understand what I'm1:25:16saying? Man, I I'm horrible. Yeah, I1:25:18know. And that's why there's no good in1:25:19you, right? Yep. There's no good in me,1:25:21right? And that's why all the good is in1:25:23me. You plug into me, that's how you get1:25:25good. You trying to do good by yourself,1:25:27Janito? Nothing. You're nothing. Stop.1:25:30Just Just lay there. Just be dumb.1:25:33That's what I recognized about myself,1:25:35guys. Y'all are weak. So what? Who came1:25:39for the sinners and the sick? Y'all are1:25:41sick, right? Who came for the sinner,1:25:43though? Jesus. Amen, brothers and1:25:46sisters. Right? Jesus came for us,1:25:51right? He says, "I am nigh close to1:25:53those who are broken in spirit and the1:25:54brokenhearted." Yeah. You have your1:25:56heart broken. Perfect position1:25:59to meet Jesus. Perfect. Perfect.1:26:02Perfect. You know what I'm talking1:26:02about. Perfect. Right. Perfect position1:26:06to meet Jesus. Right. Amen. If you1:26:10struggle right now, right? God loves us1:26:14and he's here. That's why he cares. You1:26:16can't rest. You can't sleep. You can't,1:26:19you know, you can't stop sleeping1:26:20because there's people that can't sleep1:26:22and rest and there's people that just1:26:23freaking sleep all day, right? Laziness1:26:25versus people who are overworked and1:26:27overstressed and, you know, manic,1:26:28depressed, whatever. That's exactly1:26:31where you meet Jesus, though.1:26:33Understand? Amen. Got it? Yeah. You1:26:37struggle. It's okay. God, I need you to1:26:39help me. I shouldn't trust myself1:26:41anymore. I love you, but show me that I1:26:45can't do it. And then you help me1:26:47afterwards.1:26:49Isn't that beautiful? Right. So really,1:26:51is it your your your job to do anything?1:26:55If you think so and you didn't get1:26:57anything from this live or this main1:26:58stage, all I have that question is what1:27:01can you do? What have you done? There's1:27:03nothing you can do. If you could, you1:27:05would have literally got yourself out of1:27:07it a long time ago. Long time ago. The1:27:10fact that you haven't is proof that you1:27:12can't. But you know what? It doesn't1:27:15stop right there. Proof that you can.1:27:17Right. Right. But don't we know someone1:27:20who can?1:27:23Don't we know someone who can? I think1:27:24his name is Yeshua Messiah. I'm not1:27:27talking about I'm not doing this for no1:27:28motivational. I'm being real. You go to1:27:30God and you go, I can't do it. Be like1:27:32baby Isaiah when he was trying to button1:27:34up his buttons when I was teaching him1:27:35at 3 years old, four years old. I can't.1:27:38I can't. Man, you're not even trying1:27:39with your little fingers. Okay. Okay.1:27:42Okay. Johnny's on you. Uncle Johnny's1:27:43going to help you. When I went, helped1:27:46him do one. He's like, "Oh." And he did1:27:48two, three, four by himself. That's1:27:50exactly how God works, too. You can't do1:27:52it. So, cry out then, "Lord, I can't do1:27:56it." And you know, you just going to1:27:57leave me here? Really? Right. King David1:28:00was really good at that. Until when,1:28:03Father God, are you going to leave me in1:28:04the dirt? I'm like, "Dang, boy is1:28:05gangster." He cried out in Until when,1:28:08God, you're going to leave me here, huh?1:28:11Am I just going to have my bones wax1:28:14old? Right. Will you just allow me to1:28:17dry and wither away? He says these1:28:19things, right? And God,1:28:22that's exactly what I needed to hear.1:28:24Man, hold my hold my wine. Jesus stepped1:28:27up off of his throne. Boom. And lifted1:28:29him out and exalted him. Straight up1:28:31though. Straight up. Y'all think y'all1:28:33are laughing, but that's what it is. At1:28:35the end of the day, you cry out to God.1:28:37You think he's not going to help you?1:28:39Are you kidding me? What actually stops1:28:42God? Can I tell you? Nothing.1:28:44Understand? Right. What actually stops1:28:47him? Nothing. What are you talking1:28:49about? There's nothing that can stop.1:28:50Not even your faithlessness can't stop1:28:53him. When we are faithless, he remains1:28:54faithful. It says that in the Bible.1:28:57Amen. Just cuz we're faithless doesn't1:28:59mean he's faithless. What the heck? We1:29:01can't affect him. That's like a dog1:29:03barking at the moon. He's the moon.1:29:06We're the dogs.1:29:08We return to our vomit every single day.1:29:11And yet God goes, "Hold my wine. I'm1:29:14going to show you what time it is." Oh,1:29:15good. He can't do anything anymore.1:29:17Good. Now he's going to know 100% what1:29:19it is to see me work. He's going to know1:29:21100%. She's going to know 100% what it1:29:23means for me to do it. And I'm going to1:29:25show you why they call me big dog. God1:29:29backwards dog. I'm the big dog. I'm1:29:32going to show you what time it is. You1:29:34know why I could show you what time it1:29:35is? He's like, "Cuz I created it. Dang,1:29:37boys. Gangster, stop playing, right?1:29:41[laughter]1:29:42Let me show you what time it is, right?1:29:44Cuz I created it in that way. Brothers1:29:47and sisters, we have to move. Father1:29:49God, you're amazing. You're not going to1:29:51leave me here. Satan, shut up. Get thee1:29:54behind me. I don't Oh, you're not. You1:29:56can't. Yeah, he's left you. You're1:29:57You're too You're too unqualified. Shut1:30:00up, Satan. Every day, you just got to1:30:02tell him what Pastor Kim says, and you1:30:03could say it in this exact way because1:30:05it might make you laugh. Shut the mouse.1:30:08Call him a mouse. He more like a rat cuz1:30:10he's a ratta, right? And you have to1:30:12tell him, "Shut the mouse. Shut your1:30:15mouth, bro. You're already lost. You1:30:16over here yapping like a side piece on a1:30:19set respectfully. You over here1:30:21yapping." You know, Satan is a side1:30:24piece, right? He loved God first and1:30:26then God was like, "Uh, I don't love1:30:28y'all you no more. See you later." And1:30:29then loved us. Satan's a side piece on1:30:32everything that I love. We became the1:30:33main and that's why he's pissed, bro.1:30:36trying to sabotage every bro. Satan is1:30:38literally toxica. He's literally just a1:30:40toxic person. You don't love me. Why?1:30:44It's like, well, I mean, you had1:30:45everything. You didn't take You took him1:30:47for granted, right? Amen.1:30:51Jokes aside, I want you guys to realize1:30:54how much God loves us. Don't sit there1:30:56and think he's not helping you. He's He1:30:58has to help you. That's his specialty.1:31:01So, why not believe? Why not believe?1:31:03Why not go? Hey God, yes it's struggle.1:31:05I'm struggling right now, but God,1:31:07you're going to you're going to leave me1:31:08here? I don't think so. I highly doubt1:31:11it. Highly doubt you would leave me1:31:12here. Highly doubt it. Understood? All1:31:16right, guys. I love you guys. And I hope1:31:18that you guys can truly understand that1:31:20we're fighting for you here, too. Okay?1:31:23Fighting for you guys genuinely. I don't1:31:26want you guys to sit there and be, you1:31:28know, oh, I'm so tired. No, man. We are1:31:30children of God. He will never leave us1:31:32nor forsake us. And the one thing that1:31:34God can't, he does everything. There is1:31:37one thing that God can't do. He cannot1:31:39lie. So if he says, "I'll never leave1:31:42you. I'll never forsake you." He cannot1:31:44lie about that. He can't. There's no1:31:47way. You have to believe that. You have1:31:50to understand. All right, guys. I'll see1:31:54you guys later. Take care. Okay,1:31:56everybody. Download CO Daily Cord daily1:31:58app. All right. Bye, guys.
