Unlearned Wisdom by Johnny Chang
0:00There's a lot of things right now that's0:01going on in this world that may feel0:02very uncertain and uneasy. We got wars,0:06we got the government stuff going on,0:08and genuinely it feels like the end0:10time. So, we are going to go over how to0:12get over that in this episode today.0:15Specifically, we'll be talking about the0:17rapture, whether or not it's biblical.0:19We'll be talking about the mark of the0:21beast, the number 666, and towards the0:24end we're going to talk about how what0:25Jesus meant when he said, "I don't know0:28the hour that cometh." Welcome to0:30another episode on the Unlearned Wisdom0:31podcast with yours truly, Pastor Johnny0:34Chang, where each episode is a0:36gospel-centered lesson that you could0:37apply to your life today.0:41Today. Say your line.0:44What? You don't know your line?0:45Uh-uh. Like, comment, subscribe, and0:47make sure you go listen to the audio0:49episode as well as this video episode.0:51>> And leave your favorite part of this0:52episode in the comments. We like the0:54timestamps.0:55>> Guys, like, comment, and subscribe, and0:56after you watch the video episode, go0:58listen to it on audio plat- on Spotify1:00or Apple podcast, cuz that helps us out1:02a lot.1:02>> Yep. Figgity facts. So, end times, end1:05times. Look, I want to share with you1:07guys something. Early on, when I first1:10got saved, legit, I would be scared of1:13whether or not1:15got like if God was to come back from1:17the rapture1:18and like to tell me basically, "I never1:21knew you." Like, you didn't make it?1:23>> Yeah, like you didn't make it, but more1:24so, I never knew you, right? Matthew1:267:21-23 always put fear in my heart. Not1:29everyone who says, "Lord, Lord," shall1:30enter my kingdom, but those who do the1:31will of my father in heaven. And then he1:33says, "I never knew you."1:35>> [clears throat]1:35>> So,1:36right when I got saved, I would have1:39this peace, like part of my heart was1:41like peaceful, like, "Yo, I know Jesus1:42is real. I know he made us righteous. I1:44know he made us perfect." But then the1:45other part would be like,1:47"But what if all of this is a lie? Like,1:49what if you're not actually saved and1:52you're just like tricking yourself like1:55you did with the gangs and your pseudo1:56family and people and the drugs and1:58whatever. Like what about all of that?2:01And and it really put a lot of fear in2:03me for like I think it lasted like2:05almost 2 years where I was sitting there2:07and I wasn't sure of my salvation.2:09And a lot of that came from me thinking2:11that I had to maintain my salvation.2:14I I noticed this specifically with2:17baby Christians or like new Christians.2:20They're always thinking that they have2:22to2:24basically maintain their salvation, get2:26ready to be prepared and then they read2:28verses like I did. I would read verses2:30like you have to overcome and those who2:32endure till the end will get to heaven.2:36And then I would argue that wait, that's2:38not grace then because yes, he gave it2:40to us but I have to endure and it just2:43brought a lot of confusion until one day2:44I realized that 1 Corinthians 14 said2:47that2:48confusion doesn't come from the Lord. He2:50doesn't give us a confusing spirit and2:51he doesn't give us a spirit of fear. All2:54I was feeling for those days was fear2:56and confusion. So the first 2 years of2:57my walk wasn't just me being3:00argumentative with pastor, but more so3:03me trying to convince myself and like3:06going back to pastor every time I felt3:09really lacking. I felt like I lost my3:11salvation.3:13Until one day it clicked where he said3:16if if you want to confirm your3:17salvation, where should you confirm it?3:20And I was like, what do you mean? He's3:21like, if you want to confirm that you're3:23saved, where should you confirm it? In3:25your feelings, what you see or the book?3:28And I was like, dang. And he goes, when3:30you feel like you're not perfected and3:31you feel like you have to do certain3:33things, go to the Bible that says3:35Hebrews 10:14 and see if it changes,3:37which is my saving verse, you're3:38perfected forever. And that was the3:40unlock that I needed to see and hear was3:43like, man, I'm not actually3:45I'm struggling not with this idea that3:48I'm not saved, it's just when the enemy3:50comes and tells me that I'm not, I3:52believe his voice more than the word of3:54God. And I didn't know that salvation3:58that that I didn't know the context and4:00I was taking that and just blanketing4:01it. Like, oh, it says this4:04and it says that when two people are in4:05a field, which is a rapture verse, one4:08is going to be taken and one is going to4:09be left behind. And I saw the movie like4:12Left Behind. I don't know if you guys4:14seen that, but it was like a 2004 20054:17film4:18where basically it talks about the4:19rapture.4:20And uh essentially they didn't do well4:23and they got left behind and everyone4:25else went to heaven and it was just pure4:27chaos in the earth, which is what a lot4:29of people believe, right? So, yeah, I4:32kind of want to get into that a little4:34bit, what the rapture actually is. But,4:36have you guys ever felt like that? You4:38were saved and did you ever think like,4:40dang, I don't know if I'm saved or did I4:42mess up or did you ever question it? Um4:45You better not. I'm just kidding. To be4:47honest, I've never really had that4:49thought as like4:50a lot of other people, like the Cuz you4:52have a great teacher.4:55I wonder who he is.4:58Who's your teacher?4:59Pastor5:01>> Yeah, that's true.5:03>> [laughter]5:05>> So, it's funny that you say that because5:07I've had a different version of the5:08thought, right? It's like5:10I'll be like, this past Sunday I'm like,5:12I don't want to go to church5:14cuz I'm tired.5:16And God doesn't like my my salvation or5:18whatever.5:20Like my salvation doesn't depend on my5:23church attendance.5:24>> Yep. And this guilt that I'm feeling5:26that oh, if I don't go to church, God's5:28going to be accepting5:29accept upset at me doesn't come from God5:32anyways. Dang, well, who taught you all5:34of that?5:34>> Well, hold on. But, then I'm like, okay,5:36well, am I being selfish? Mhm.5:39And so then I'm like, man, I feel guilty5:41about just being selfish, like all this5:43week I did whatever I wanted, right?5:46Even though the job is built around God,5:47I'm like5:49overall, I still do what I want, right?5:50I never miss like Muay Thai or if some a5:53friend if you guys invite me out to5:54dinner, most times I'm there. But for5:56some reason, I can't go to church one5:59time a week. So then I felt that kind of6:02guilt. But then I'm like, but that6:03doesn't come from God either. So then I6:05was like but then I was like okay, but6:09can I is it me just being so weak to my6:12flesh that I'm like trying I'm just so6:15comfortable that I think I can get away6:17with it, you know? So I'm like going6:19back and forth and back and forth and6:20I'm like, you know what? It wasn't hard6:22for me to come to church for an hour,6:24right? I can do that for the person that6:27has helped every part of my life. Even6:29though I'm tired or whatever, it doesn't6:30mean I have to be like perfectly6:32attentive or whatever, but I should just6:34go anyways, right?6:37But overall, I'm like that's probably6:40the battle a lot of people feel where6:42it's like, you know, some days they're6:44just tired and they want to give in to6:45their flesh and then they feel guilty6:47that they gave in to their flesh and6:48then they're like6:49it's just yeah, so6:51>> Do you know what the unlock is in all of6:53that, Jeremy? What do you think the6:54unlock is in all of that? That it don't6:56matter what I do. No. Oh. No, the unlock7:00is just just backtrack 3 years ago. Did7:04you ever think like that?7:07No, I didn't go to church Exactly. You7:09didn't 3 years ago you were like even in7:11every thought process where you like,7:13oh, let me chase this. Let me like you7:14know, you would just make the decision.7:16I have a plan. I'm going to move7:17forward. I don't know anything about7:19grace. I don't know anything about7:20conviction, condemnation and none of7:22that. You just like led how you led. The7:24fact that you can sit there and go,7:25okay, this isn't from God, but then this7:27also isn't from God, but then like it's7:29like this is the unlock. This is the7:31deep thinking. Perfect. That added7:33another layer to it. But for me, I'm7:35like, well, I have Pastor Kim and Johnny7:37that I could call at any second if I7:38really was spiraling. But there's7:41probably somebody out there going7:42through this exact same process as me,7:44>> but then it's just spiraling, even7:46though they're trying to be a good7:48Christian. So, I did think about that.7:50I'm like, I'm lucky cuz I'm in this7:52state that I could if I really was like7:55battling about it, I could have called7:56you, right? But, for somebody else out7:59there, they're probably going through8:00the same process of8:02I'm saved, but I'm not, and it's8:03probably not even as8:05it probably is a more difficult problem8:07than just8:09do I go to church on Sunday?8:10>> Sure. So, what would you say to that8:12person even though they're8:15you know, thinking their thoughts8:16through, the thoughts could be making8:18them spiral more, you know what I'm8:19saying? So, that's why I always tell you8:21you have grace, cuz that's not normal.8:23What you go through is secure8:26>> High grace IQ.8:28>> [laughter]8:29>> God gave you high grace.8:30>> was just like, uh,8:32like I can't this Low IQ now since you8:34said that, and I'm just kidding. But,8:36genuinely8:37>> it is. I'm really, really smart. I pick8:38up things easily. Just say it. Come on,8:40give me the compliment.8:43Yeah, this guy is crazy. No, like when8:46you receive a lot I always tell you8:48Jeremy, right? I'm always like, bro, you8:49receive a lot of grace. You And that's8:50the thing early on8:53before [clears throat]8:55everything was rolling and we had 338:57members on the team, it was like you8:58were like, oh yeah, okay, I have to9:00remember that. I remember that. But, you9:01slip into it and then be like, oh yeah,9:03true, grace, grace. It's not really9:04happening as much nowadays, which is9:06really cool. That's again the level up,9:08but9:08>> like it cuz I don't hit you up no more.9:10No, that's not true.9:11>> yeah, it is.9:13This guy is horrible, dude. You got to9:15call me more. But anyways, genuinely9:17like it's9:20some people just don't have the grace9:21because they're a little bit further9:23behind or they're like further along.9:25I'll give you an example, right? I had9:27to take these mandatory classes on9:28Saturday and Sunday. It was from like9:309:00 to 6:00, and it was9:34really [clears throat] amazing cuz I met9:35a lot of people, but one thing I noticed9:37was everybody is good in that class. We9:40had like these two OG Jewish guys who9:43were studying Jud- Judaism. We had a a9:46district attorney in there. We had all9:47these people in there.9:50And I was looking at everybody and their9:51accolades.9:52>> [clears throat]9:53>> One guy was a lawyer, whatever,9:54whatever.9:55And I'm like, dude, I am the most9:56lacking person here. Legit, I didn't I9:59didn't have an education. When they're10:01speaking, they're like using big words10:04and vernacular, and I'm just like10:05low-key just putting Claude Bot on the10:07bottom like, "What the hell does this10:08mean?" Like and I just didn't10:10understand, but10:12the only reason why I was able to have10:14to be in the same room was genuinely, as10:16cliche as it sounds, because of Jesus.10:19I I looked at them and and obviously10:21these guys weren't really believers,10:23right? They weren't talking about that.10:24They're talking about like politics and10:26just how to like you know, they're just10:29you know, their their their worldviews.10:31And I saw that every single person in10:34there was good people. Like home-10:37they'll help the homeless, they'll give10:38the shirt off their back, straight-up10:40like philanthropist energy.10:42And I'm over here like, "Dang, you guys10:44care about that?" Like I don't even care10:45about stuff like that. But10:47[clears throat]10:48I got very emotional because when I had10:50seen that the little things that10:53bothered them in this world, they were10:54so adamant about certain things with the10:57war and everything. [clears throat]11:00In my heart, honestly, I was like, "Bro,11:01I don't care. I could care less about11:03these other things. Like I'm I'm just11:05trying to live my life.11:07I'm not worried too much about any of11:09that other stuff, and I'm Christian."11:10So, when I saw them,11:12>> [clears throat]11:13>> the one thing that really like broke my11:14heart, but also made me happy, was the11:17grace aspect.11:19Uh these people were just so good. They11:21were like trying to get my number.11:22"Johnny, let's exchange." Like we11:24exchanged numbers. "I'd love to hear11:25more about your story, blah, blah." Like11:27they were so like invested in a person11:29like me who was a random. I didn't know11:30them 48 hours ago.11:32And when I when I saw myself, I was like11:35going to God and I asked the same kind11:37of question, like, why is it that they11:39struggle so much about those little11:41knickknacks? They little things bother11:43them so much and nothing really bothers11:45me anymore.11:46And I kind of like got emotional cuz I11:49was like, damn God, I'm worse than these11:50people. And yet you gave me the grace to11:53see, you know, what what they can't11:56really see, which is the the real issue11:58is not there is is is not that there's12:01too much evil in this world. It's it's12:02evil people trying to be good and then12:04trying to be their own saviors and like12:06didn't know Jesus. No relationship with12:08him. And I'm not even talking about12:10religion, just relationship with God.12:12And I just felt like very12:15heartbroken, but then also very12:18like uplifted and very like, thank you,12:20God. I'm not a person who can even12:22receive this. I would I would be just in12:24the same boat if not worse. But why me?12:26And the only thing that came to my mind12:28was grace. It wasn't cuz I went to12:30prison. I have like gang homies who went12:32to prison and died. I have homies who've12:34been to prison and and12:36you know, uh and never changed their12:37life. The instructor there was telling a12:40story about his friend who went to pri12:42who did 17 years in the pen, got out,12:45got married, went to church,12:47you know, did everything right and then12:50comes in one day to church and goes, you12:52know, they're all talking in the inner12:54circle and the one of the guys is asking12:56that guy, "Hey, man, how's everything?"12:57He's like, "Not good.12:59My wife found out that I cheated like on13:01her. It's really bad." And just walked13:03out. Walked out, right? And everyone was13:05the same reaction. Like, "Whoa, what the13:07hell?" And he's like, "Okay, cool. So, I13:10try to call him,13:12you know, but I forgot. I Second day,13:14I'm like, okay, I'm going to call this13:15guy. Forgot. Third day, I was going to13:17call him. Forgot. Fourth day, I'm I'm13:20going to call him." Ended up calling.13:22Yo, he killed himself.13:24So, he's like, you know, and then I13:25could see he was getting emotional and13:27he was just like, "I'm not saying that13:30that his, you know, unaliving was was my13:33fault, but" he's like telling everyone,13:35"Guys, check in on your people." Which,13:37Hundo P, I agree with that. But,13:40I was able to kind of see like, "Dang,13:41that that could have been me. Like, I13:43could have made it out, got a good job,13:45got a and then still couldn't deal with13:47my lust, my depression, my loneliness,13:48my emptiness, whatever it is, all my13:49trauma compounded in prison."13:52And bro left behind a family, left13:53behind his girl, left behind everybody.13:56I was able to really think like, "Dang,13:57God,13:59in that moment, nothing else mattered14:01except for the grace that you gave me."14:03And I driving home, I was just like14:06noticing even the smallest things.14:08There's We're in California, there's14:09palm trees all the time. But, I was able14:12to like see. It's not like the palm14:13trees changed. My heart changed. The14:16Bible, when I was reading it, same words14:18that I've read for years hit different14:21because the words don't change in the14:22Bible, my heart was changing. So, I was14:25able to see like, "Oh my goodness,14:27there's even now there's things that God14:30allows me to see14:31in small little classes and things like14:33that to be able to recognize my own14:35heart posture. And I think that's just14:38the one thing everyone has to realize is14:40and I was saying this on Discord stage14:43today that if you just think about other14:45people and you think about the grace14:47that you receive, then it really is true14:49that everything becomes a blessing. So,14:51to answer your question,14:53it's just more of grace, but when you14:55don't sense that or even think deeply14:57about that or don't just open your eyes14:59to see what's going on everywhere else,15:02it's almost like you can't. There's a15:04blockage, there's a resistance where you15:06can't understand people as clearly. You15:08think you can, but it's it's it's just15:10not the same when things unlock. And so,15:12it made me feel a lot more compassionate15:14even towards people who hate on me. It15:15was weird. I'm like, "Dang, every They15:18have that much hatred? They have that15:20much heart to make a video about me?15:23And like even at the gym, that person15:25was judging me for having a tripod cuz15:27I'm trying to take care of my health.15:28Like if those little things bother15:30people, I can only imagine what actually15:33in their day-to-day life, how miserable15:35people really are. And it broke me. It15:37was like, "Dang, I can't believe I I got15:40it so good15:41and people don't have it like that. And15:43it's not like, "Oh, I'm better." Like15:45it's from a position of being pompous,15:47but grace really does mend everything.15:50It makes everyone really wake up a15:51little, take a step back, assess,15:54reflect, and go, "Dude, this is15:57like we're very lucky to be where we're15:59at." And yeah, it was it was just crazy.16:02It was crazy.16:04I'm so excited because after service is16:06finally coming back. We're going to so16:08many places and it's about to kick off.16:10Yeah, so so tell16:11>> What is after service?16:13>> After service is free live events. This16:15is where Johnny Free.16:16>> right there, he preaches a sermon,16:19answers Q&A's from the audience. People16:21come early, they hang out, they stay16:23afterwards, they hang out. It's like16:24where you all those people in the group16:27chats and in the comment section, you16:28meet them in real life. So, it's I think16:30it's really cool that we're able to do16:32these because again, yeah, you just get16:35to meet the community.16:36>> Where where where are we going? Bay16:37Area.16:38>> San Jose and either San Francisco or16:40Oakland as the second city. So, two16:41cities in the Bay Area.16:42>> TBD TBD. Probably second half of May.16:45We're still figuring out churches. If16:46you actually work If you work for a16:49church that has a thousand plus seats,16:51hit us up and you got live streaming16:53capabilities, that's all we need. Yep.16:55Hit us up. Work with us. Come on. And16:57that's anywhere. That's in any city or16:59town. Like if you guys work for or run a17:02church with a good amount of seats and17:03all the capabilities, please reach out17:05cuz that's like a huge factor as to17:06where we'll go. Like genuinely, if17:08you're like, "I really want Johnny to17:09come to my church." Go talk to whoever17:11runs it. If the if it's has a17:12appropriate size and all the17:13capabilities, that's like a17:16chance we'll literally show up.17:17>> And here's the thing, when you do ask17:19your church, the thing that this is17:21about their benefit, right? Number one,17:23we've seen even for Victory Outreach in17:26Arizona, there's been members that have17:28stayed at that church, right, since17:30then. So, if you're a church and we're17:31doing the outreach for you. A lot of17:33Johnny's audience is baby Christians,17:35people that are curious about faith. So,17:36if they have a good experience at your17:37church, there's a high chance that they17:40might come back. So, we're doing all17:41that free outreach for you. You just got17:43to give us your building for coming out.17:46>> I I I just have to address this like17:47people who are like, "You're a heretic."17:49Like, okay, so what if I bring the17:51people to the church and then you17:53influence them correctly through the17:54doctrine? Like, do you just throw them17:56away because they follow me and then17:59that we just leave them alone? Like,18:01that's what I don't understand about18:02certain pastors, you know? It's like18:04they're too much on an island and I have18:05to have to call it out. It's like, "No,18:08I don't like you and everyone that you18:09the sheep that you bring." It's like,18:10"Yeah, but they're not specifically just18:12there for me. They they are in your18:14community looking for a church. Hello.18:17Like, if you care about the kingdom,18:19it's all going to one bank account,18:21which is a spiritual bank account of18:23Jesus Christ. And so, why not, right?18:25But, people just it's just but mind18:28boggles me.18:29>> Don't make sense. It's a shared bank18:30account. Literally. Johnny's an18:32authorized user. Yeah.18:34>> [laughter]18:34>> Swipe.18:36Just kidding. Um yeah, so Barry is18:38coming and then I think this is a very18:40special announcement.18:43Europa.18:44First Technologia. Technologia.18:46Technologia. It's the first time we're18:48going and bringing after service to18:51Europe, guys. Let's go. I'm I'm18:54literally like shocked. But, Amsterdam,18:58Sweden, June June 4th to the 7th, guys.19:02We'll be in Amsterdam. Well, we'll be in19:04Sweden first and then Amster-deazy. And19:07we'll be in Dam Square. If you guys know19:09who I'm talking about, Dam Square open19:12air amazing place. So yeah.19:15>> you can't text [clears throat] in19:16because our phone number is only for US19:18and Canada. So we are there's a little19:19link in the description of this video19:22and our link in bio whatever it is or or19:24by this time the app is out just19:27download the app and we're going to push19:29information in that way. Yes guys. Yes,19:31let us know.19:32>> all these events are free. All of them19:34are free even the ones where we're19:35flying 16 hours to go to Amsterdam. Um19:39all right, anyways, so yeah, after19:40service coming back and then we're going19:42to try to go to Chicago in Yeah, going19:45to Chicago in July. Guys, Chicago is my19:47hometown. I'm from Chicago. It's the19:49best. It's the best. Um but yeah,19:52Chicago is the best. We made sure to go19:53in the summer cuz no one wants to go out19:55in the winter. So we'll be in Chicago.19:56It'll be beautiful. Beautiful. Anyways,20:00we're hitting the road again. There's a20:02lot of amazing things. If you've been20:03beta testing the app, we're very20:05grateful for you. We're going to improve20:07it heavily and now I got a silly20:09question. Wait, real quick though. If20:11you guys do have churches that we in20:14cities that we didn't mention we have a20:16host form as well and if you guys know20:19the churches, we're not saying20:20suggestions like oh I know a church. No,20:22like you have to be in it. Like you have20:25connections to it20:27and you guys want us to come. Like I20:29said, thousand people capacity let us20:32know and fill out that that form. Link20:34in the description.20:34>> your church is down, literally we'll20:36come. Like everyone thinks like I want20:38John to come to my city so bad. Like20:39literally go talk to whoever runs your20:41church, show them the past videos. If20:43your church holds over a thousand20:44people, have them reach out to us. It's20:46very simple. Our email's in the20:48description. We will there's it's it's20:51really likely that we will straight up20:52come. John will straight up come to your20:54church. I'll show up like with my little20:57like knapsack20:58>> stick on stick and be like handkerchief21:00and like Here to preach the gospel.21:02We'll sleep at your house. Sleep at your21:04[laughter] house. Yeah.21:05Dude, don't do that. That would actually21:06boost it. People would be like, "Yeah,21:07come to my house."21:09>> [laughter]21:10>> Well,21:11me and Aaron also have to come too, so21:13keep that in mind. I guess, you know,21:15leading into the end of times theme, for21:17someone who's, you know, for someone21:19who's listening in right now and they21:21feel super overwhelmed and about what's21:24going on in the world and they're trying21:26to understand grace like, at least I21:27have a house over my head or my job or21:29whatever, but their mind just keeps21:32getting dragged by like anxiety or21:34uncertainty. Yeah. Um what does the21:36Bible actually say about living through21:38times of uncertainty?21:39>> Yeah. So, if you cast all your fears on21:42him, he will watch for you.21:44You know,21:46as crazy as this is,21:48I used to really think, why does God21:51allow evil things to happen?21:53Why does he have to have things allow21:55things to end, like end times?21:57Why does he allow wars and all this evil22:00stuff, cancer, you name it?22:03And I recognized something. It's because22:05just like in what I was expressing22:07earlier, I've been a Christian for 1022:08years now22:10and even me, I don't get the grace part22:12completely correct and accurate.22:15I realized that it's not God that's22:18causing issues, but we refuse to see the22:22goodness of him, so he has to do things22:26that get our attention. So, to answer22:28the question, if you're going through22:29depression and anxiety, trust me, I've22:31been there.22:33It's necessary, as crazy as it sounds.22:36And you guys know, because pastor would22:38say that about me.22:40I was an over-thinker and not only that,22:42I was extremely pessimistic.22:45Everything I would think about the22:46worst-case scenario. It doesn't matter22:49what it is, like even if it's my homies,22:51even if people are giving me money, I'm22:52like, they want something, that's why22:54they're doing like, I could never see22:56the positive side of things, especially22:59even after getting saved in early on, I23:00think it was just a survival mentality.23:03But I realized23:04that pastor would say, "Johnny, whatever23:08you're going through, don't try to23:09change it." I'm like, "No, but I should23:11stop being I should be less negative if23:13I can." And he's like, "Sure, but just23:17just hear me out. When your heart gets23:19to a position and you can actually23:21reflect back, you're going to see how23:23God uses your negativity to actually23:26bring you closer to him."23:27When he said that, I remember it was in23:30October23:31of 2016.23:34I I genuinely was like, "What the hell23:37is this guy talking about?" Like,23:40"My negativity will bring me closer to23:42God? That doesn't even make sense. Like,23:44what are you saying right now?"23:46But when I look back at it now,23:48it's true. Me being negative and going23:51through what I went through allowed me23:53to spiral more until I got tired of23:55myself to go, "Bro, your negativity23:58doesn't do anything but drain you."24:00How about we try to like think about24:02God's side? And and God was like24:04allowing it cuz he could have stripped24:06it away, and then I wouldn't learn the24:07lesson. He allowed me to sit in it as24:09crazy as it is. My anxiety, my24:11depression, my loneliness, he allowed me24:13to sit in that to be like, "If you24:15choose yourself,24:17how does it feel to be here?" As crazy24:19as it is. Not in a way like wagging his24:21finger like it was more of a nurturing24:23like, "Johnny, I have this route for24:25you.24:26But because I love you, I can't force24:28you here. Love honors choice. So, I'm24:30going to let you choose, but I just want24:32you to think,24:34how does it how was it when you chose24:36yourself and you're in this predicament24:38right now? It doesn't feel good. So, can24:40you just please come to me?" It was24:42almost like God was begging me to like24:44come to him to be like, "Bro, I I got24:46you. I know what's good for you."24:48And24:49when that clicked to me, which was24:51around 2018,24:53that's when I was like,24:55"Oh my goodness." Like,24:57"God, thank you. I get it now. I get why25:00cuz you need me to fully let go. Just25:03like you need me to fully let go of my25:05gang stuff, like you have to let me to25:07like you have to lead me to that. But25:09you're not going to force me to do it.25:11So, you're going to let me kind of play25:13it out because you love me and then come25:16to that conclusion. And that's genuinely25:17what happened to me.25:19That's actually like super helpful. Mhm.25:22How would you then apply that to when25:24the things are out of your control? Like25:26for example,25:27it is very it's very clear that our25:30country is run by25:31PDF billionaires that are choosing their25:34own path to do whatever they want and25:37we're fighting other wars for other25:38countries while we have homelessness,25:40starvation, gas prices, like we're we're25:44destroying other countries that we25:46should have no business in because25:49of certain issues. I don't want to like25:52say my political views.25:53>> Yeah. So, then that part I'm like It's25:56difficult.25:56>> Yeah, I'm like you're allowing that for25:58whatever reason, which makes sense. It's26:00free choice, but it's now affecting us.26:03Yeah, it's affecting everybody around26:05us. And and and I'm grateful in a lot of26:06ways that I'm not going through.26:08Electric car, baby. Don't have to got it26:10at the right time. Don't have to buy26:11gas. But even then, right? Um26:14>> Well, I got a gas-powered car.26:16That's what you get for wanting to drive26:18a guy you should be humble and not drive26:21at all.26:22You should ride a horse.26:23>> should ride a tricycle.26:24>> Yeah.26:25No, I'm a26:25>> so like what how do you apply that to26:27when it like feels like it's out of your26:29control and other people are now26:32you know, other people are affecting26:33your world.26:34>> Yeah. So, that's what is causing you to26:36go to God more. Me, too. When I see all26:39this stuff, I'm like, "Dang, gas prices26:41are rising." Just feels like evil's26:43winning.26:43>> It's evil. 100%. It feels like it. But26:45again, that's why God is training us,26:48you know?26:49And I'm so thankful that for 10 years26:51he's been training me where it's like26:52don't trust what you see. At the end of26:54it like he God is triumphant but he got26:58to get let people feel like they're27:00going to win and then boom it it's like27:02that counter punch. You guys ever watch27:03people fight and they're getting just27:06mollywopped and then all of a sudden27:08it's like they just come back with like27:11the the the last haymaker that just27:12knocks and like flips everything upside27:15down, right?27:16This is kind of the energy that God has27:18where it's like you guys are panicking27:21but I already know what the end result27:24is. Do you guys trust me? And at that27:27point I do I I think about it too,27:29right? I watch all these videos at times27:31videos that you send where that Asian27:33guy he makes a valid point. He's27:35predicted things about Trump's election27:36etc. etc.27:37But I'm like okay, that's true. That can27:39be real.27:40But27:41what about God though, right? He's in it27:43all and I understand the the the mission27:46here God like you need people to break27:49down more than ever because we're more27:50abundant than ever. We're more connected27:52at least through social media more than27:54ever and it's almost like we're straying27:56to a position where we don't need you.27:59So when you look at God's pattern and28:02how he uses things like whether it's28:04hardening Pharaoh's heart or allowing28:06the Egyptians to overtake the Israelites28:08and enslave the Jewish people, like why28:10would you allow that? But it's to tell28:13them and when we go through numbers even28:15now I can see that the change of the28:17heart which mirrors the world right now.28:19It's like28:20we need certain things to oppress us as28:22crazy as that sounds. We need certain28:24things to hurt us to turn back to God.28:26It's so crazy you said that. It all28:28clicked for me too just now because28:31four years ago, five years ago no one28:33was turning to God because it was28:34amazing. OnlyFans was the biggest thing28:37ever. Everybody like money was flowing.28:40Everyone could do whatever they want28:41even eight years ago, right? Everyone28:42makes the 2016 joke, right? Like but28:45we're suddenly seeing this wave. It's28:47actually the younger generation that saw28:49our generation, we chose what we want28:51and they're like, I don't want that.28:53They're drinking less, they're choosing28:54church.28:55>> clubs, no yeah, yeah, yeah, that's28:56right.28:56>> it's actually very interesting that you28:58say that that in a lot of ways it's like28:59we chose our own path. And look what29:01happened.29:02>> it's revealing a lot of things. I think29:04there's a lot of people waking up to29:06wow, I can't necessarily trust myself.29:10>> or wow, I'm fighting against my neighbor29:12who has this different view, but really29:14both sides on the back end are wanting29:16us to fight for whatever reason. What29:17what are we fighting for?29:18>> 100%29:19>> So That's biblical, too. It's like29:22Satan, which is a true enemy just has to29:25make you guys think you guys are the29:27enemies, so he could we could miss him,29:30right? And so, I say that all the time.29:33Satan doesn't want to you know, he29:36doesn't want good, he doesn't want29:38unity. So, obviously, he's going to sit29:39there and he's going to pit us against29:41each other.29:42And he's going to make you have29:44political views you have political views29:46and both of you guys end up in the same29:48place. Like, as long as he does that,29:49he's winning. Satan is a master29:51manipulator, but more than anything,29:53he's a distractor. He loves to just29:55distract people with things that just29:58don't matter at the end of the day,29:59right? And of course, there are things30:00that do matter.30:02But that's why there's this thing called30:03faith, where it's like, hey Lord30:06cuz if you guys really think about it,30:08there's nothing that I could really do.30:10Right? And right there when I say that,30:12I know the enemy works. So what? We30:14don't do anything? Immediately, those30:15thoughts come in. And that's the reason30:17why. See, if they didn't fight and they30:18didn't do this and they didn't do that30:20and, you know, if they didn't fight to30:22like abolish slavery, then what do you30:23think? There's obviously these hearts,30:25right? But you have to understand, a lot30:27of these people were also God-led. The30:29same people who abolished, the same30:31people who were like, no, all humans are30:33equal under God, like, we need to push30:36that. It was always God-led in the in30:39the in the sensor. So, I'm not saying30:40don't do anything. But you have to have30:43God in the middle. You have to in in any30:45relationship. If I sit here and I try to30:47be good to someone and that person tries30:49to be good to me, that is limited30:51because we're finite and we're imperfect30:53as human beings. But, if you use the30:55standard of God to be in the middle.30:58Okay, that's God's daughter. That's not30:59just my wife. Okay, that's God's31:01husband. That's That's God's You know,31:04son. That's just not my husband. When31:06you have this type of mindset, you guys31:08meet in the middle and you meet in front31:10of God.31:11If I I genuinely thought about it that31:12day, too, after the classes. I was like,31:14"Man, if these guys were genuinely31:16gospel-centered31:18and and learn things like don't trust31:20your thoughts. Heart is deceitful." And31:22let's say we just taught that to all the31:25kids starting from right now.31:27I really think that people would learn31:29to distrust their intrusive thoughts.31:31They would learn to not follow their31:33hearts, especially when greed arises.31:35They won't follow lust so that these PDF31:37files won't follow fall into that and do31:40crazy stuff. Like, if you taught that31:42from a young age and you kind of just31:44indoctrinated that, I don't think people31:46would sit there and like do half of like31:49the evil stuff. Of course, we don't31:50know, but I genuinely the Bible says if31:53you seek the kingdom and his31:55righteousness, God's righteous, not your31:57own, then all else will be added unto31:59you. I think I mean, a prime example of32:02this is El Salvador.32:04Like, if you look at you know, uh Nayib32:07Bukele. Nayib Bukele, he's gangster.32:09Like, bro just knew I'm going to attack32:12it at the root. It's not, you know,32:14outwardly. And they they were the most32:16dangerous32:18freaking Latin American country. Like,32:19nobody held a candle to these guys. They32:22were one of the most dangerous countries32:23in the world. I think they were number32:24two.32:25>> Bro, they were killing people. Like, it32:27was wild. The SEOCHO 18 and MS, right?32:30Just going at it, which started out here32:31in our in our hood in LA, of all places.32:34And so,32:36the fact that they were able to flip32:38that on its head, Google, YouTube,32:40people are starting to build their32:41infrastructure there. He's starting to,32:43you know, fiber, all that. He was very32:46smart, and the one thing he keeps saying32:47is32:48this is not a physical problem or a32:51governmental issue. This is on a32:52spiritual level. We are at spiritual32:55warfare. Why are we trying to fix things32:57with things that are finite to fight32:59things that are infinite or things that33:01aren't tangible like spirits and33:02principalities. So, he just knew the33:05Bible. Like, when I look at him, I could33:06see like, bro knows at least something33:09about the spiritual realm of things,33:11which I think too many people negate33:13nowadays. And that's why we're33:14depressed, because depression is only a33:16It's not a spiritual thing. It's a33:18physical thing. Go to the Go to the33:21graveyard and see if somebody struggles33:23with lust. They don't. They're dead. Do33:24they struggle with depression? They're33:26dead. Anxiety? Dead. It's a physical33:28thing. So, we're trying to attack things33:30that are physical when we're naturally33:32physical when we're naturally spiritual33:34beings. So, we have to start33:35prioritizing spiritual things. But,33:38people, you know, put band-aids over33:40gunshot wounds essentially. But, okay,33:42well, I can go to therapy, which isn't a33:43bad thing.33:44But, they lean on that.33:46They lean on everything else, and the33:48last resort is always spiritual stuff.33:50So, God has to keep allowing these33:51things to break our flesh down, break33:54our wallets down, break our33:55relationships down, break down all these33:57idols that we lean on so that we can go33:59back to him and fully lean on him. So,34:02when I look at what's going on in the34:03world, as crazy as it is, a true34:05biblical Christian would be like, bro,34:07this is biblical. Everything that's34:09happening from Israel and all this It's34:11all written in the Bible. If y'all read34:13it gen as much as I have, you It's all34:16there. It's literally accurate as to the34:19T. It's almost scary. Like, I'll get34:20chills. Like, oh my goodness, this is34:22real. This is my life's work and35:07the best way to make God a habit in your35:09life, and I can't wait to share it with35:10you guys.35:11I have some verses that I pulled that35:13are the most famous end of time verses.35:16Yes. And I would like you to tell me if35:18these are correct or not.35:20>> Yes, sir. Aaron, do you have anything to35:21say before we get into this, by the way?35:22I'm sorry. I've just been I know. I've35:24had so much to say cuz you'll talk and35:26then you'll raise your hand.35:27>> I'm sorry.35:28>> So, by that So, so then you'll answer. I35:30know. I get I get what I'm doing.35:31>> like three I just don't think any It35:33doesn't matter.35:34>> your time. Recall. Recall. You guys have35:35had a better conversation anyways. No,35:37recall. Come on. This is your time. It's35:39just like, Aaron, you're the problem.35:41I'm just kidding. I imagine Like I was35:42thinking like35:44when you go online and you see all this35:46stuff, like it's definitely people get35:49fed different things. Yes.35:51>> certain people need it need to see worse35:52things in others. Like to be honest, I'm35:54willing to bet and I'm not saying35:56anything about us at all, but you35:57definitely see worse stuff on your feed.35:59You definitely have like a very end of36:00days feed. Like cuz you be it interests36:03you or whatever it is. Like but you can36:04also like not like look at as much of36:07that as at the same time.36:08>> Oh, ignorance? You should I just fan36:10ignorance when36:11>> It's It's been this bad forever. There's36:14been wars forever. These wars aren't36:16breaking any record numbers.36:18>> It's not as It's never been this bad.36:20>> Yes, it has.36:21>> Yeah, to the point where36:21>> wars have broken any record numbers.36:24>> Yeah, gas was higher. Gas has been36:25higher than this.36:26>> this. That was like 2 years ago. Yeah,36:27dude. No, it wasn't. It wasn't It wasn't36:29$7.36:30>> was.36:30>> No, it wasn't.36:31>> Yeah, I saw $8 before.36:34And maybe like one downtown gas Okay,36:36regardless of whatever You're You're36:38about to see36:38>> know gas prices cuz I haven't looked at36:40them in a few months, I guess. Yeah,36:41you're you're36:42>> [laughter]36:42>> you're about to You're about to see it36:44get really bad, right? And also even36:46even just the simple stuff like I was a36:48a business owner.36:49All the tariffs and stuff, that was one36:51president like literally so many of my36:53business owner friends36:54collapsed their business overnight36:56because one guy one guy36:58>> Turn to Jesus.36:59>> one guy decided he had an ego problem37:00with Xi Jinping, Turn to Jesus. And37:02low-key, I'm on Xi Jinping's side. I'm37:04like, he's keeping the West out. The37:05West is a poison. I understand what Xi37:08Jinping is doing.37:09I'm just saying back to Johnny's point37:11>> on both sides in case God forbid.37:13>> point is that there's a lot of37:14distractions, and I think certain37:16people, not you or whatever,37:19can can fall into them further and dis-37:22and it distracts them from the word.37:24>> Not like you. Not Yeah, he's like, "Not37:26you." That felt like a straight Yeah,37:28not a straight Let me use someone as an37:29example. Let's take you for example.37:31>> [laughter]37:31>> Yeah, what are you talking about?37:33This is Aaron with his mic. Hey,37:35everybody. Hey, everybody.37:38>> [laughter]37:40>> Yeah, yeah, people that smoke too much.37:42Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.37:44Facts, if you keep No, you quit your But37:45no, I agree that as a whole, like37:47generations37:49are like straying away from like end of37:52times type stuff, but it's honestly it37:54may seem worse than ever because media37:56is bigger than ever and information is37:57spreading more than ever. And it's not37:59interesting for people to share all the38:00good news on Earth. Like you just don't38:02see all the good news, but constantly38:03they're healing more cancers than ever,38:05solving more problems, but it's just38:07like that doesn't make for good media.38:08So, it's like you can read into certain38:10things more than others, and maybe it is38:11all just like don't listen to Satan.38:13Don't let Satan enter your thoughts. You38:14need to38:15>> So true. on what you're focused on. Stay38:17focused on the word. I for one, you38:18know, I'm impenetrable. I stay focused38:20on exactly what I'm focused on.38:22You however Hey, hey, hey, the first38:25tabs this morning was Minecraft 238:27trailer.38:28>> [laughter]38:28>> I'm like, why don't you think about the38:29world, you know? He's like he's like,38:31hey you you know, this will start to38:33also affect Aaron when they're like, yo38:36the servers are down because like we38:38can't afford He's like, all right.38:40>> I'm like, guys, it's worse than ever.38:41This is end of times. [laughter]38:43And you can't play Pokémon Go no more.38:45He's like, we need God now. This is it.38:48God, where are you?38:50That's [laughter] when I would reach the38:51end of myself.38:52>> agree with you. I agree with you that38:53you could shut it, but I also think that38:54there like there has to be some38:56understanding of where the direction of38:58the world world is going in my opinion.39:00Like you can't just be in a bubble and39:02be like39:02>> la-di-da I'm good because it's also a39:04double-edged sword, right? I agree. You39:06can't care about everything and the39:07internet forces you to do that. So, I39:09understand that the thing you should39:11care about first is yourself. If it is39:13affecting you, then ignore it, right?39:15Like you don't have to care for39:16everything.39:16>> saying the thing you should care about39:17first is like the word. I guess39:19yourself, too. I mean I'm saying like39:21you don't have to care about ice and the39:23war and this and that and the and39:25everyone telling you that you should39:26like That's That's obviously extremely39:28draining. Yeah.39:29>> But um overall, I would say39:32uh39:33what would you say to that, right? Like39:37thinking about others is a very core39:40message of yours, right?39:41>> Yes.39:42Um so39:43>> [clears throat]39:43>> a lot of what you teach is about39:45thinking about others.39:46>> Yes.39:47But that can also be weaponized. Oh39:49wait, Johnny, you don't care about39:51the the war or oh Johnny, you don't care39:53about ice or Johnny, you don't care39:55about AAPI. I care about all of that39:58stuff.39:58>> aren't you ever saying it on your39:59platform?40:00>> I I don't have to use my platform to40:02talk about it. I bring my platform to40:04God and I go, God, you know what you're40:07doing.40:08There's nothing that I could really do.40:09I'm not studied in politics. What the40:12heck am I going to do? Hey guys, some40:14guy who doesn't know anything tell40:15everybody else who doesn't know40:16anything. Like I'm not going to I would40:18be the blind leading the blind. I know40:20my lane. Amen.40:21>> I'm not I I genuinely don't know40:23anything about that. I'm not studied on40:24that. All I am is Bible Bible and I read40:27it upside down. Bible Bible. Literally.40:29>> upside down? That's pretty cool. Yeah.40:32But basically, I I I40:34I think about this. If I go and I march40:38and I mobilize all of you guys, my 440:40million, you know, member army or40:43whatever it is across all platforms,40:45let's say.40:47We don't even agree40:49amongst each other.40:51>> [laughter]40:52>> YEAH. LET'S GO STORM THE WHITE HOUSE.40:54IT'S LIKE, "NO, I'm okay. What the hell?40:56Why not?" And we would literally not40:58make it out the gate. We'd be bombing on40:59each other.41:01So, when I think about it,41:03why not just go to God who literally41:05knows everything? Guys, these forces,41:09they're only problems to us, right?41:11I genuinely believe, if you really think41:13about it, if God is all power all41:16powerful, all knowing, almighty,41:18we have to learn to go to him first.41:21People are trying to handle things41:22ourselves. And I was having this41:24discussion with with a pastor who was41:26like, "I I I disagree with you, Johnny.41:28I think with the knowledge and wisdom41:30that we have, we need to go and we need41:32to fight because we have God on our41:34side." And I straight up was like,41:37"Do you think God needs us to fight for41:39him?"41:40And that froze him. He's like, "Well,41:42well, no, but I mean, well, like it's41:44like it's difficult, right? So,41:47we have to be cautious. I think good41:49intention is important. We have to be41:51cautious when good intention turns into41:54like pushing your own agenda, too.41:57I know this firsthand from gangs.42:00You join the hood for protection.42:03Everybody from the Crips to the Bloods42:05to the homies to Asians to the others to42:08whoever,42:09everybody from a hood is usually joining42:12the hood because they're getting they're42:14in in a dilapidated impoverished42:16impoverished place where like literally42:19you have to protect yourself. I know I42:21did. I know certain streets in the SUV42:23early 90s, late 90s, early 2s, early42:262000s, you couldn't walk down.42:29You would get jumped. I would get jumped42:31on the daily. Like just to just getting42:34home by another race.42:36So, of course you're going to have to42:38join the neighborhood, right? But that42:40then turns into what? Like wow,42:42brotherhood, right? Which is all42:44beautiful. Joining the hood for42:45protection. Now you got instant42:46protection. You got instant brotherhood.42:48You got instant power. You got finances.42:50You got homies who got money will give42:52you money.42:53But then what does it turn into later42:55though?42:56Robbing.42:57Gang war.42:59Murder. Straight up.43:01Drugs, alcohol, people betraying I seen43:03homies shoot each other in the face.43:05Like killing a homie killing a homie.43:07Knowing him since he was, you know,43:09pamper status. So, at the end of the day43:13good intention is always great, sure.43:16But does it stay like that though? It43:17never stays like that. Think about all43:20the times that you, you know, made the43:21decision to choose close friends with43:24people and be like it's very rare that43:26you have multiple best friends. It's43:28usually like one, maybe two if you're43:31lucky.43:32And like even them you can't go to like43:35you can't go to them for everything,43:36right? So,43:37humans are just naturally this way. Why43:40would I depend on someone who's like43:42that including myself?43:45That that's just straight foolishness. I43:46I have to go to God. I have to go look43:49God, I don't know.43:50You know. I think I know. I try to know.43:53I can't. So, whatever it is that I don't43:56know, I'm going to let you handle it cuz43:57you know. That's literally just basic44:00stuff. If I don't know how to change my44:03my oil in my car, I don't try to figure44:05it I can,44:07but I'm trading things off. Time, which44:09is money as well.44:10Um I can get injured. I know people44:13who've, you know, my friend's grandpa44:15like44:16was trying to save a couple bucks,44:17respectfully, and the car like rolled44:20over and like off of the the44:23the jack and let and killed them. Like44:25over what? You know what I mean? Like44:27leave that to a professional with the44:28professional like Yes.44:30>> So it was just there's things that yes,44:32you can do things your way, handle P,44:33but it's so much better there's a way44:36there's a right way to do things there's44:37a wrong way to do it. And that comes to44:38spiritual life, too. I don't know what's44:40going on with the world. I think it's44:42it's way ahead of our ahead of us,44:45right? America started what? 1776?44:48There's been corruption since when? I44:50don't know. How long? You're going to44:51just somehow like rise to the occasion?44:54And when people do and they have those44:56revolution44:57revolutionary shifts, amen, hallelujah,45:00but amen, hallelujah, meaning that's God45:02who did all of that. He inspired people45:05to do those things. So I'm not saying45:06for you guys not to do anything. Handle45:08your business.45:10But your heart has to be like, "Yo, I'm45:12going to do this by grace." All I'm45:14asking is operate positionally from45:17grace.45:18Study the politics.45:19Go in there with the heart to change the45:21laws. I speak to cops all the time,45:24sheriffs all the time, who are like, "I45:26really wanted to change my life and45:28change my community." And when they went45:30in, they realized the community isn't45:32the problem. It's the department that's45:34corrupt. And they saw that and was like,45:36"Dang, either conform or die." That's45:38it. And they had to conform. And they're45:40depressed because they realized, "Bro, I45:42want I genuinely had I love my45:45neighborhood. I love my people and I45:47want to serve and protect the community,45:49but I go in there and it's not like45:51that." And so they have to like but then45:53they got to, you know,45:55pay their bills and they try to help out45:57where they can. And then if they feel45:59almost lukewarm, but in a sense that's46:01not spiritual, right? So, they're46:03playing both sides of the fence and they46:04feel like a fraud, like an impostor. And46:08so, what I'm saying is once you realize46:10how messed up this world is, God made it46:13that way, allowed it to be that way to46:14be like, "Look, you guys can't do only46:17what I can do. So, chill out with that."46:20And And And honestly, I I've I've46:22learned to be more like that. There was46:24a time too where I was like,46:26"The Asian hate and y'all Yeah, you got46:27to what" And then I'm not no46:28disrespecting that. It's beautiful. I46:30think I know some of these people who46:32are moving that way. But at the same46:34time, I know46:36that I have no control of anything.46:38Like, I can't change another person's46:40mind.46:41And a lot of the times like, they're not46:43the enemy either. It's a deeper rooted46:45issue and we can get into all of that,46:47but at the end of the day, why not just46:49be like, "Hey God,46:51inspire me to do good. Sure, I'm going46:53to follow you and I'm going to, you46:54know, study and do whatever I got to do.46:56Yes, but I leave the outcome to you cuz46:58I could do all of that." And I've seen47:01so many people. There was a a a cop who47:04was like everyone loved the Christopher47:06Dorner guy. Do you guys remember him?47:08>> Bro was LAPD or LASD, I forget. And he47:12was He just snitched on his superior47:14because he's like, "This is wrong. You47:16stepping on the chest, tightening up the47:17cuffs, beating people." And then he got47:20shunned. Everybody hated him and bro47:22just went vigilante shape Batman mode47:24like, "I'mma just start smoking people."47:26And he did. And he He would only target47:29cops. He killed people in in in OC, you47:33know, all the crazy stuff, right? And in47:34the end like, the shootout happened. I47:36think it was in Big Bear somewhere and47:37then he passed away. But like, that's47:39what happens when people go, "I'm a good47:41person.47:43I'm going to change the system by47:44myself. I'm going to try to like, you47:46know." And even if he took the other47:48route, personally I think, if he went47:50and became a politician and you know,47:53rise up the ranks politically, I don't I47:55still don't think he would have made47:58the impact because the way that the47:59system is set up, the way that what48:01people don't realize in this world is48:04that it belongs to Satan. That's why48:06when Jeremy saying it looks like evil is48:08winning, it is because that's how the48:10way the world is made. People think it's48:12God of this world. Yeah, there's a God48:14of this world, little G, which is Satan.48:17And Satan wasn't lying when he sat there48:19and he said, "All this power that he48:21gave me, I shall give to you these48:23kingdoms."48:25God was like, "You can handle all of48:26this cuz you're a dog on a leash. I'm48:28going to use you to do what you need to48:30do so they can turn these people back to48:33me." And so Satan thinks he's winning,48:35he's not. He's allowed certain48:37provisions to like obviously affect us48:40in certain ways, but at the same time48:42God has the last laugh. That's why he48:44says he's the alpha, beginning, omega,48:46end. He doesn't say he's the middle.48:49What we're transitioning through right48:50now is what's going to cultivate our48:52relationships with God. It's what's48:54going to turn us to God, right? Again, I48:56didn't think I needed to go through YA,48:58didn't think I needed to go to prison,49:00didn't think I needed to go through49:01whatever I went through in my life. But49:03when I look at it now,49:05I'm like, "Dang, the prison term ended,49:08the California Youth Authority term49:09ended, and now I understand why you let49:11me go through that." While I was going49:13through it, I was like, "Man, this is49:14horrible. The justice system is corrupt49:17and blah blah blah blah." Of course, of49:19course. But I needed that to happen as49:21crazy as that sounds. And I think a lot49:23of people can't handle that. They can't49:24handle when you tell them when they're49:26going through something, "Hey, you need49:28to go through this." Cuz then it becomes49:30like, "What? You're better than me?49:31Well, what do you mean? You don't even49:32understand what I'm going through. You49:33didn't go through that." And that's49:35exactly what the enemy wants them to49:36think. But when you really go through49:38it, mark my words, guys.49:41Whatever thought that ever comes to your49:43mind,49:44it's it's it's never as bad as what it49:47is. Like if you think about it. I know49:48times where I was like, "Dang, I have no49:50more money right now. I'm literally49:52going to die. I'm going to starve.49:54That's like again where my mind would go49:56to and I'm not there now. So and then we49:59quickly forget that. All the anxiety,50:01all the depression, the nights of50:03spiraling to then once we get a dub50:05we're like, oh wow, yeah, I knew it.50:07Like we forget so quick how much we're50:10like crying and balling our eyes out50:12because we don't have we're living50:14paycheck to paycheck and we lost our job50:16or our kids aren't listening. And later50:18you get older and you're just like, oh,50:2010 years went by. Oh my gosh. Like I50:22thought I was going to die like50:24literally 10 years ago. Like it's never50:26ever what you guys perceive it to be50:29because God's not just going to sit50:30there and fold his arms and go, yep,50:32this whole world is crashing and burning50:34and I can't do anything about it. Like50:36are you kidding me? He could snap his50:37fingers and make everybody straight.50:39Make everybody like, you know, super50:42super perfect, but he's not going to do50:44that because then we would not50:46appreciate the good that we have. We50:49would not appreciate you know, the50:50wealth that we have, the health that we50:52have, everything. So50:54Yeah.50:55God can't snap his fingers and make50:57everyone straight.50:59>> [laughter]51:01>> This guy.51:04You just quit. But yeah, leave it to the51:06professionals. I like what you were51:07saying. Leave it to the professionals.51:08You you spent so long studying the51:10Bible. That's why people come to you for51:11the Bible. But it's like you're not51:12going to comment on the economy or51:14something like that. It's just so51:15annoying when like someone's a musician.51:17It's like the last thing I like is when51:19a music use your voice. Use your voice51:21for things like for sure, but the last51:22thing I like is when a musician is51:23commenting on some geopolitical issue.51:25I'm like, what do you know? Aren't you51:27in the studio all day making beats?51:29>> [laughter]51:29>> Like put the beats in the bag. Like I51:30don't need to hear I'm going to trust51:32the professionals who do this all day51:33every day. You're just reiterating51:35something you saw anyways. Like51:37don't trust these people. Fakity facts.51:39Fake news.51:42All right. So I'm going to say the verse51:44and you tell me if you know what the51:46where it's from.51:47>> Yeah, okay. Mr. Brain. Hey, no, don't51:49look at the cheat sheet.51:51Revelation 13:16-18?51:53Nope, that's not the one I'm reading.51:55>> [laughter]51:56>> That Daniel 7 to Nope. 23:24? Nope.51:59You're not touching your you're touching52:00an ear you're touching an ear. Remember52:02that guy Cabeza? He's like, "So, Cabeza,52:04what's 66 from 12?" And he's like, "Oh."52:07And he like pulls out his phone. I52:09>> [laughter]52:09>> Uh Crazy. So good.52:11>> Okay, so anyways, Revelations 13:16-1852:14says,52:15"And he causeth all, both small and52:18great, rich and poor, free and bond, to52:20receive a mark in their right hand or in52:23their foreheads, and that no man might52:25buy or sell, save he that had the mark52:29or the name of the beast or the number52:31of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him52:34that hath understanding count the number52:36of the beast, for it is the number of a52:38man, and his number is 600 three score52:42and six."52:43>> Oh, man.52:44>> Okay, so this verse a lot of people it's52:46just, you know, they've made movies off52:47of this, books, it's the mark of the52:49beast. And so,52:50>> Yes. most people hear this verse and52:51they think52:52>> the number? What's 600 four score and52:55whatever it is? Um52:58666.53:00I heard you say53:01>> [laughter]53:02>> 666. So listen, a lot of people53:05think that there's movies and all kinds53:07of theories that are built off of this53:09mark of the beast. They're thinking53:10barcodes, they're thinking neuralink,53:13they're thinking AI, whatever it is.53:15>> So, So what is it then? What is it,53:17Jeremy? What is this actually talking53:19about, Mr. Brainiac smart guy who knows53:21everything?53:23So Revelation 13:16-18,53:26which he just read,53:28when you guys read the Bible, you have53:30to understand the context of who it's53:31written to. Context is why is it53:33written?53:34>> Why is it written? Who is it written to?53:36What is it53:38addressing?53:38>> Addressing.53:41Guys, don't be like Jeremy.53:43But, so 666, he says it's the number of53:47man, right? First and foremost,53:51people don't understand, if you guys53:53know53:54Hebrew Aramaic, it's alpha-numeric. What53:57does that mean?53:58It means numbers mean letters and54:01letters mean what?54:02>> Numbers. Good. Numbers mean letters and54:05>> You didn't know that. He knows Hebrew.54:06You know Hebrew Aramaic. You didn't know54:08anything. He's like, "Shalom."54:11No, I'm just kidding, but so when it's54:13666, when you put those letters54:16together,54:17it spells Nero, Emperor Nero, right?54:21Um, and it's Caesar54:24Neron, basically, right? When you look54:26at that. Now, what this is talking about54:29is Rome, guys.54:31So, when when the verses tell you that54:34two shall stand in a field, one will54:37take them will be taken away, it's not54:39saying that God isn't a come down in a54:41cloud and pull people away. It's talking54:44about the Roman Empire contextually,54:46geographically at that time. So,54:50when Romans were ruling at that time,54:52right? It was like modern-day America.54:54They were just They just had the juice54:55at the time,54:57and they were oppressing people. They54:59can come and take people away, and55:00that's why even with Jesus, they're55:02like, "With this money,55:04who should we pay when we pay taxes?"55:06And Jesus goes, "Look at the coin. Whose55:09face is on that coin? Caesar,55:12right? Emperor Nero, right? And if you55:15take this, you have to pay the tax to55:18him." What he's actually explaining here55:20is context. Guys, we're still under the55:23government. We can't just do whatever we55:25want.55:26Understand? And that was the Roman55:28currency back then was they would have55:30the the coin with him on it, which is55:33his name, Nero, right? And it would be55:35666.55:38So, the numerical value would then make55:40people realize, "Oh, this is talking55:43about him." Again, a man.55:45The number of man, right? Let me go a55:48little bit deeper on this. So,55:49>> but what's this beast? It mentions a55:51beast.55:51>> Yes, so I'm going to explain, mother,55:54mother, mother.55:55>> Get there faster. I have a short55:56attention span. Tick tock.55:58>> true. Brain rotted. So, the number six56:01represents man. Why? Because what was56:04created on the sixth day?56:05>> Man.56:05>> Man. Amen, right? Good stuff. There you56:08go. That's it, guys. I close the56:09podcast. He answered it all. No, I'm56:11just kidding. So, number six represents56:13man because on the sixth day God formed56:14man out of the dust of of the earth,56:17right? Blew the nephesh into his into56:20his lungs, and he became a living being.56:22Now, 666, what does that represent?56:26Well, there's three sixes, 666.56:29Now, in Hebrew tradition, in Jewish56:32tradition, correct me if I'm wrong, all56:34of you guys who are Jewish, if you say56:37something like holy, holy, holy, it56:40means perfect, complete holiness. That's56:43why they go holy, holy, holy in Daniel56:45and Psalm. Holy, holy, holy. Faith,56:48faith, faith. When you say things three56:50times, it means complete, okay? Now,56:53think about this for a second.56:55666 represents what? Man. Man. Flesh.57:00Flesh. Cuz man is flesh. So, if you're57:03flesh, flesh, flesh, complete flesh,57:08right? Because now, when you say holy,57:09holy, holy three times, it means you're57:11completely holy. But if you say flesh,57:13flesh, flesh, man, man, man, what are57:15you? Completely man. And if you're57:17completely man,57:19and you have no spirit, what are you? A57:22beast. Do you guys understand what I'm57:24saying? So, people don't recognize,57:26that's why he's he's giving the context57:28here. And then, there's also something57:31that's pointing to what you guys don't57:32know is an unholy trinity.57:35So, what is a trinity? Three, triune.57:37It's God, Yahweh, right? With the57:40father. It's57:41uh Yeshua, which is Jesus the son, and57:44then it's the Ruach Elohim, right? The57:46spirit, holy spirit, right? Now,57:50what Satan tries to do is he tries to57:52put six man in each position. For57:55example, your man57:58six, and he tries to make you the judge,58:00judging good and evil. Who's the one58:02true judge? Only God can judge. So, he58:04goes, "No, no, no, you're the judge,58:05too. You lead your life, you guide your58:08life, you judge your life, you judge58:10everybody else in your life, you're the58:12judge." So, he puts he replaces God,58:14idol worship, and puts you on the throne58:16that only he can sit in. That's first58:18six. Second six is the son. What did the58:21son come to do? He came to die for your58:23sins. But then, what do you do? He58:25replaces that with works. No, you got to58:28repent for your sins. You got to do good58:29for your sins. You got to do well. You58:31got to try harder. You got to do better.58:32You got to save yourself58:35from yourself.58:37AKA, then Jesus is isn't the savior,58:39you're the savior. So, you're now Jesus,58:41six. That's the second six. What's the58:43Holy Spirit's job? To guide us, to58:46comfort us. So, what do you do? You then58:49become six, looking at drugs instead of58:51God for comfort, looking to guide58:53yourself, and right then and there he58:55made 666, you acting like a beast, no58:58nothing to do with the spirit. And this59:00is what he means. I bet you didn't know59:03that. Now, give me your money.59:06Okay, okay, smarty pants. What about59:09this one?59:10Daniel 7:23 to 24 says,59:14that Oh, you're throwing up your hands59:15like you already know. Are you here to59:17help the people, or you just going to be59:19No, these are just the most funniest59:22things. Listen to me carefully. Every59:23single verse you guys are going to bring59:25up. Well, what if it's overcome? Well,59:27what if it's what if it It's all about59:30Rome.59:32Just understand the Septuagint, Greek,59:35Greece, Greco-Roman.59:37It's all about Rome. When he goes,59:39"Women, shut your mouth." Right? In 259:42Timothy, "Stop talking. Right? You need59:44to stop braiding your hair and you need59:46to pray and close your mouth and study59:48more."59:50Men Most people would like, "Oh, so you59:52it's cuz girls are they they're freaking59:54horrible. You got to shut shut their59:55face. Oh, you got to shut your face up."59:57Right? So, they don't understand the59:59context.1:00:01Guys, it's all about Rome. New Testament1:00:03is written in Rome. It's in Koine Greek.1:00:08What that means is everything in there1:00:10is going to talk about Greek. Laodicea,1:00:13lukewarm, is1:00:15centered between Hierapolis and1:00:17Colossae, Greece.1:00:19Greco-Roman, Asia, but still Rome.1:00:22Understand? So, all of this is Rome Just1:00:24understand that. And now when you read1:00:26it, don't be like, "Oh my god. I mean, I1:00:28got to go to heaven." No, you got to1:00:30read there and go, "Oh, this is Greek."1:00:33I know you guys are going to get mad.1:00:34They're like, "Well, he thinks he knows1:00:36it all, but Johnny, at one time you1:00:38didn't know anything." I know. I know1:00:39that. And you guys are getting1:00:41fast-tracked. So, lower the anger, lower1:00:43the pride. Just listen to me carefully.1:00:45Think about it from my side.1:00:48So many people who have not read the1:00:49Bible come to me and go, "I know what1:00:52this is. Look it. Faith without works is1:00:55dead." Look, guys, it's not that hard to1:00:57understand. Who is it writing to?1:01:01If Harry Potter is writing to a freaking1:01:03Harry If J.K. Rowling is writing about1:01:06Harry Potter, I'm not going to take that1:01:07and go, "This is what it means to1:01:09everybody, that you are all Slytherin1:01:12are evil." Like, I'm not going to do1:01:14that, right? It's the same thing with1:01:15the Bible, guys. It's not just And And I1:01:18don't blame people for this, but they1:01:20they think like everything in the Bible1:01:22is for us.1:01:23And they read everything prescriptively.1:01:26Like a prescription. Okay, take two for1:01:287 days. Okay. So and then they treat it1:01:30like that. Okay, God said do this. So1:01:32okay, I have to do this. It's like but1:01:34the more you try to do that, you fail.1:01:36By the way, I don't care about any of1:01:38this stuff you're saying.1:01:39>> don't, Jerome. I know that you're just1:01:40doing this.1:01:41>> by the way.1:01:42No, he does care.1:01:43>> Come on. Come on. I play I play a1:01:44character.1:01:44>> calls me all the time. Okay, but here's1:01:46the thing, right?1:01:48Psalm says this. Look at our call logs.1:01:51You're calling me.1:01:51>> verses so you can stop asking about it1:01:53every day.1:01:55>> [laughter]1:01:56>> Kind of tired of hearing about it. All1:01:58right, Daniel's Daniel 7: 23-24 says,1:02:02"Thus he said, the fourth beast1:02:05Thus he said, the fourth beast shall be1:02:07the fourth kingdom upon Earth which1:02:09shall be diverse from all kingdoms and1:02:11shall devour the whole Earth oh and1:02:14shall tread it down and break it in1:02:16pieces. And the 10 horns out of this1:02:18kingdom are 10 kings that that shall1:02:20rise. And so, you know,1:02:22everybody thinks this is1:02:24modern-day prophecy of all these1:02:26different kingdoms of North Korea and1:02:28Russia and China and they're They're not1:02:30wrong about that. That that you're1:02:32they're not wrong. The four kingdoms1:02:34most most biblical scholars theological1:02:37scholars will understand it as this:1:02:38Babylon,1:02:40Persia,1:02:41Greece, Rome. These four1:02:44are the four1:02:45uh beasts, right? And so,1:02:48the reason if you look at history from1:02:50Hitler to Napoleon, they tried to unite1:02:54a lot of these kingdoms,1:02:56not just four, but 10 kingdoms. There's1:02:58a kingdom of brass, there's a kingdom of1:03:00gold, there's a kingdom of silver,1:03:02there's a kingdom of titanium.1:03:04And God says, "I separated these on1:03:06purpose, right?" And this is what a lot1:03:08of If you do any history buffs in here?1:03:11You guys know what I'm talking about.1:03:12I'm not going to go super into detail,1:03:14but1:03:16this is Daniel wrote this about I think1:03:18500 to like 450 to 500 BC meaning 5001:03:23years before Christ. And he's speaking1:03:26about the Babylonian times. You guys1:03:28know what Babylon is? Do you know what1:03:30Babylon is? What what country is Babylon1:03:33right now?1:03:36Per- No, Persia is not Babylon. Babylon1:03:40is Greece.1:03:41>> Persia.1:03:42Greece. Persia Who's Egypt? Egypt,1:03:45Babylon.1:03:47>> [laughter]1:03:47>> Come on, that's where they they built1:03:48the Tower of Babel, right?1:03:52Yeah, I know that place.1:03:54Babylon is Iraq, see?1:03:56>> So, Babylon is Iraq, which is crazy,1:03:59right? And then Babylon is Iraq?1:04:02>> Babylon is Iraq. Basically, this is1:04:04written the four kingdoms of Earth, it1:04:07says, right? On upon Earth. So, again,1:04:11he's speaking about Babylon, which is1:04:14what again?1:04:16Iraq.1:04:17>> Good. He's He's speaking about that1:04:18again contextually, geographically. Now,1:04:21when you think about this, it's talking1:04:22about the 10 horns out of the kingdom,1:04:24the 10 kings.1:04:26Goes more into like depth of the1:04:27kingdoms.1:04:29It's not just speaking about oh my gosh,1:04:31these are some four horsemen that's1:04:33going to come out and do all this other1:04:36stuff and it's again,1:04:38the rapture When do you guys think the1:04:40rapture, which is not biblical, by the1:04:42way,1:04:43Yeah, the Bible doesn't mention it.1:04:46>> It's harpazo, which in Koine Greek means1:04:49to be gathered up, to be taken, okay?1:04:52Which is true. That's That's That's the1:04:54closest word to that and I think in the1:04:57Latin it's closer to rapture. That's why1:04:59they they pulled the word rapture,1:05:01harpazo, all that mixed together.1:05:04But, rapture The idea of rapture is very1:05:07simple. It's there's going to be trials1:05:09and tribulations towards the end of1:05:11times and then God will come right1:05:13before believers are going to get1:05:15oppressed and killed boom and take some1:05:17people will actually get killed and1:05:18removed, right? But when they're1:05:21speaking again remember guys Rome.1:05:24These guys were already getting killed.1:05:26So when they're talking about end times1:05:28in that time they're living it right1:05:31there. That's why they're saying these1:05:32are the end times when they speak it1:05:34they're not saying it's going to come1:05:36they're talking about it right then and1:05:37there. Right? So again people take this1:05:40thing. So I want to ask you guys the1:05:42Bible has been out for 2000 years.1:05:44Right? 40 different scholars over 15001:05:46years they wrote and they all wrote from1:05:49miles and miles away the same message1:05:51which is why we believe how is that even1:05:53possible? How can this guy1:05:55in Babylon1:05:57all the way from I don't know somewhere1:05:58else Asia they're sitting there and1:06:00they're like they have the same notes.1:06:02Like that's just again very1:06:03supernatural. That's the belief, okay?1:06:06Now1:06:07if you think about it1:06:10how long has it how long do you think1:06:12this idea of the rapture has been out?1:06:15Most people would say 2000 years ago.1:06:17It came out and it was popularized I1:06:19think in in 1800s like 1830.1:06:23So it's only been this idea isn't even1:06:25200 years old basically.1:06:28So think about it you're you're tripping1:06:30on an idea1:06:31about something that's 200 years old1:06:35that's pertaining to something that's1:06:362000 years old.1:06:38You have to realize like we have to be1:06:41awakened like oh this is just somebody1:06:43who perpetuated this, right? And then1:06:46there was like the Nelsons Bible I think1:06:48or it was a certain Bible I think it was1:06:49in 1900s like 1909 early 1900s they1:06:52started to perpetuate this the rapture1:06:54the rapture the rapture the rapture. And1:06:56again people were just like oh my gosh.1:06:58The thing I have an issue with in terms1:07:00of the rapture and there's all these1:07:01different layers pre-trib mid-trib1:07:03post-trib. So pre-tribulation1:07:05mid-tribulation post-tribulation.1:07:07The thing I have is the issue with that1:07:09is it's all fear-based.1:07:11And if you're if it's fear-based, then1:07:13you're obeying out of fear.1:07:16Right? It does not come from the1:07:19From what?1:07:20Lord. Good. And he doesn't know his own1:07:22lines. I had to feed1:07:25from my right. I don't remember my1:07:26right. So1:07:27>> [laughter]1:07:28>> So So when you think about it,1:07:31if I'm sitting here and I'm like, okay,1:07:33I'm going to keep the commandments1:07:35because I don't want to burn and I'm1:07:37going to get like I don't want God to1:07:38kill me.1:07:40That heart, you can it can pass, sure,1:07:43but isn't it so much better to go, "You1:07:45know what?1:07:46I'm keeping the commandments because God1:07:48loves me. Like I want to do it out of1:07:50love, not out of fear."1:07:52Right? A lot of you guys, women1:07:53especially, are in relationships because1:07:55you fear something, not because you love1:07:57the person.1:07:59Right? And I'm not saying this to call1:08:00anybody out. I'm just saying like you1:08:02know what it is to be in a loving1:08:04relationship versus one that your door1:08:07opens, "Oh my gosh." Like they treat God1:08:09like this dictator.1:08:11"If you don't do this, you're going to1:08:12get smoked." Like that's not the energy1:08:14that we need to have. It's a1:08:16relationship with God. He is a father1:08:18and a son. Imagine you treated your dad1:08:20like that or your dad treated you like1:08:21that. "Hey son, if you don't do this."1:08:23And sadly, we know that. Some of us come1:08:25from those backgrounds where the parents1:08:27are like, "If you don't achieve this, I1:08:29don't love you."1:08:30Right? And then we also experience Some1:08:32of you guys come from unconditional Mark1:08:34was here from South Bay Under Belly1:08:36tried talking about his mom and dad.1:08:38He said, "I could do whatever I want and1:08:40my mother would love me and I knew that1:08:42as a kid."1:08:43Right? In the same way, that's why he1:08:45obeys and he's trying to be a good human1:08:47being and all of that because he1:08:49he does it out of love. He doesn't fear1:08:51his parents, right? So for us, we just1:08:54have to recognize that I have an issue1:08:56with that. Now, most people hold the1:08:57same the idea of post-tribulation. So1:09:00pre-tribulation is before the great1:09:02tribulation, before the war, before they1:09:04run out of water, all this stuff. God's1:09:05going to come in a cloud, boom, and take1:09:07us up, gather us in the cloud, and then1:09:09bring us up to heaven, and the dead1:09:11shall rise. That's 1 Thessalonians 14,1:09:13I'm sorry, 4 verse 16 to 17, right? But,1:09:17even that is not what it's what it is.1:09:19Mid-tribulation is, okay, in the battle1:09:21we're about to get killed, oh, and then1:09:23boom, we get raptured up. And then1:09:24post-tribulation is we go through all of1:09:26that, 666 chip, whatever, Neuralink, you1:09:29can't buy anything without money, etc.1:09:31Most people hold that view, that after1:09:33all of this, if you overcome, yeah, then1:09:36God will put you up there. If you think1:09:38about that, then what the hell is grace1:09:40for?1:09:41You Why would Jesus have to die? He1:09:43could just sit up there and go, I ain't1:09:44going to die for you.1:09:45Let me see if you can overcome1:09:47everything. And if you can, get on up1:09:49here. That's a works-based salvation,1:09:51guys. You have to see through the the1:09:54grass, see through the BS, right?1:09:57If anything,1:09:58the tribulations are always going to be1:10:00there. We're going through it now. It's1:10:02just We're technically in a recession,1:10:04and we're like, wow, like we don't We've1:10:07never been able to sense anything.1:10:08People are like, "Ever since I got saved1:10:10from God, Satan has been attacking me1:10:12more." Sure, I don't think he's been1:10:14attacking you more. I think your I You1:10:16woke up and was like, "Oh my gosh, this1:10:18whole time I've been doing this, and I1:10:19didn't even sense it. I didn't realize1:10:21that I was being attacked. Now I'm more1:10:23aware." And of course, now that you're1:10:24more aware, you notice it more,1:10:26everything's more heightened. But, it's1:10:28not Satan has been trying to kill you1:10:29ever since you were goo-goo ga-ga,1:10:31straight up. As a kid. And so, that's1:10:33what I recognize, too. When I reflect1:10:35back on my life, I'm like, "Oh my gosh,1:10:36I could see where Satan was working on1:10:38me at 5 years old."1:10:39Like, all this crazy stuff. I got hit by1:10:41a car, all this stuff. I'm like, "Dude,1:10:43this is wild." But, you don't You just1:10:45go, "Oh, I was stupid. I ran in the1:10:46street, and I was dumb, and blah, and I1:10:48like got hit." It's like, you start to1:10:50recognize certain things that are that1:10:52weren't there before because of the Holy1:10:53Spirit. And so,1:10:55it's not any of those things. It's all a1:10:58distraction.1:10:59It's all a distraction. Satan just has1:11:03to convince you that God isn't there.1:11:06And you will live like that.1:11:09That's all he has to do. Yeah, he's not1:11:11here. He's like, you prayed. It's1:11:13bouncing off the wall.1:11:15Look, you fasted. What do you didn't get1:11:18anything? Oh my gosh, you heard your1:11:20dreams and visions back then. What1:11:21happened? He's gone. And you know what1:11:23we do without even realizing it? Amen,1:11:26Satan. You're right.1:11:28And we never say, "Why, Satan?"1:11:31We always say, "Why, God?" We never say,1:11:35"Why, Satan?"1:11:36In fact, if we say that we we sound we1:11:38sound we feel stupid. Why, Satan? Huh,1:11:40what do you That's weird. Like, that's1:11:42how cunning Satan is.1:11:44He's removed himself to go, "You don't1:11:47know what I'm saying now, that like he's1:11:48straight up like, I don't speak any1:11:49English. I like it's a God. He do1:11:51everything." Like, that's how Satan is.1:11:54He is that good in going, "I don't have1:11:56any power, bro. Your God got all the1:11:58power. Hello. Look it."1:12:01What we don't realize is when we're1:12:02doing that, we get stretched out.1:12:04Literally, we're we're like, "Oh my1:12:05gosh.1:12:06Amen, Satan. Amen. You're you're you're1:12:08right, man. God, why?" And1:12:10we don't even realize we're following1:12:12him in that way.1:12:13A good deceiver is that good where a con1:12:16man is that good where you get licked1:12:18for everything and you're like,1:12:19"No, he's great." I seen one of those1:12:22the the1:12:23I think it was on Tik Tok. This officer1:12:25was at 7-Eleven or something or1:12:27somewhere where there was like Bitcoin,1:12:29right?1:12:30And then he she's like, "I'm in1:12:31trouble." She's a old geriatric like 80.1:12:33She's like, "No, I'm in trouble. I need1:12:34to pay this money." And the guy's like,1:12:37"Yes, sir. This is Chase. Yes, we're1:12:39working." And he's like, "This is not1:12:41Chase. This is whatever with the1:12:43sheriff's department." He's like, "No,1:12:44sir. Let me speak to her." He's like,1:12:45"No, you're scamming her." She's like,1:12:46"No, I need to I need to give him all1:12:48the money." And she's like just dropping1:12:50bread on this fool.1:12:51Right? In the same way, that's how Satan1:12:53works. He's a con man. No, you need to1:12:55save yourself. Look, you're messing up.1:12:57And even when people come to save them,1:12:59like that cop was trying to save the1:13:00lady, she was almost like, "Stop1:13:02infringing. What the hell are you doing?1:13:03I'm trying to help. My daughter needs1:13:04help. I need to give them money." That's1:13:06how Satan works.1:13:08No, you're right. I'm righteous? Yeah,1:13:10right. Satan's like, "Yeah, you're not1:13:12righteous. You messed up. You clicked on1:13:13a no-no website. See?"1:13:15Oh, yeah, that's true. Yeah, you're1:13:16Yeah, you know No, that that message is1:13:18Oh, no, Jesus can I can't just do1:13:19whatever I want. Like, we Without even1:13:21realizing it, we're defending this fool.1:13:24This guy that he's laughing at us. We1:13:26have to really wake up and realize these1:13:28things. So, all of it, guys, is a1:13:30distraction.1:13:32And we'll get into that in a little bit,1:13:34too. My hope's to help1:13:55you guys grow with your spiritual life1:13:57each and every day. And my next point is1:14:00Mark 13:32, where Jesus goes, "No one1:14:04knows the time." So, when you look at1:14:05Mark 13:32,1:14:08it says, "But of the day and that hour1:14:10knoweth no man, not no, not the angels1:14:13which are in heaven, neither the Son,1:14:14but the Father."1:14:17Right? So, here's the argument that most1:14:20people bring to me.1:14:21"Johnny, is God all-knowing?" Yes. "And1:14:24does Jesus claim to be God?" Yes. "Then1:14:26how does he not know?"1:14:27That must mean he's not God. God um1:14:30That's how they do it. It's that simple,1:14:32surface level. God um Now, explain.1:14:35First and foremost, guys, you have to1:14:37understand the1:14:38context and the principle.1:14:40When God when Jesus used the word in1:14:43Greek,1:14:44it's oida, oida, o i d a. It's the same1:14:49word that's used in 1 Corinthians 2:21:14:53where Paul had multiple disciples who1:14:57made it into the Bible who literally1:14:59wrote more than half of the New1:15:01Testament himself and goes, "I1:15:04determined1:15:06not to know1:15:08anything among you save, which means1:15:11except, Jesus Christ and him crucified."1:15:13So, what does that mean?1:15:15Does that mean Paul doesn't know1:15:16anything? He wrote about tongues. He1:15:18wrote about dreams. He wrote about1:15:19visions in 1 Corinthians 14. He wrote1:15:22that when you speak in tongues, there1:15:23has to be two or three people. One has1:15:25to be quiet. One has to interpret and1:15:27the other one has to go, "Yeah, he said1:15:29it. That's true."1:15:30So, people don't even know that. So, he1:15:32wrote about these things, but what does1:15:34he say? I don't know anything except for1:15:35this one thing. Why does he say that?1:15:37Because that's what matters most. So,1:15:39what does Jesus say here? It's the same1:15:41heart posture. Guys, stop getting1:15:44distracted. You trying to figure out1:15:45when I come back so you can what? Sit1:15:47there and play catch-up. Oh, okay. I can1:15:49gamble until here cuz then he's going to1:15:51come back then and I'll just loophole.1:15:52Like, that's what he was trying to cut.1:15:55He would heal people and he would tell1:15:57them, "Don't tell anybody what happened1:15:59here." Why? Cuz he knew people would go,1:16:03"Ah, this guy Jesus? All right, I'll1:16:05believe in him if he could heal my1:16:06soul." Which is transactional. So, he1:16:09says, "I don't know."1:16:11Why? So that people could shift off of1:16:14that. But instead, what do we do? No,1:16:16let's see, God, he doesn't know. Oh my1:16:18God. And we start using it against him1:16:19because that's what Satan does.1:16:21You think Jesus doesn't know? Are you1:16:23kidding me? He's 100% man and 100% God.1:16:26He humbled himself. If he decides, "I'm1:16:28not going to know this part and I'm1:16:29going to give it up to God," which he's1:16:31done so so many times in the Bible, why1:16:33can't he do that? Right? And secondly,1:16:35he's saying, "I determined I'm not going1:16:37to know this. I don't need to know this.1:16:39And you don't need to know this." Why?1:16:41Because why are you even asking that?1:16:43It's the same question and I'll do a1:16:44heart posture test with you guys. Maybe1:16:47you guys could catch this. Hey Jeremy,1:16:49so uh Ask Aaron. Ask Aaron.1:16:50>> No, I'm going to ask you. Hey Jeremy and1:16:52Aaron, Jaron, both of you guys.1:16:55Hey, so uh you guys know King Saul?1:16:58He like had all these kingdoms and he1:17:00had all these women and like in the end,1:17:02right? He leaned on his sword.1:17:04Right? So, he killed himself and1:17:06Jonathan and everyone they killed1:17:08themselves, right?1:17:09Cassie has a question. Did he go to1:17:11heaven?1:17:12So, those who commit suicide like King1:17:14Saul did, did he go to heaven?1:17:17Yes.1:17:17>> What's the heart posture? Damn, you1:17:19failed.1:17:21What's the heart posture?1:17:22>> Really? Failed miserably. Because I said1:17:25he went to heaven? You failed.1:17:27No. He He had the Holy Spirit on him.1:17:30No.1:17:31>> [laughter]1:17:31>> He's I don't know. Maybe. This guy1:17:34failed saying yes.1:17:36>> The question should not be yes or no.1:17:39The question is1:17:40why are you asking that? Why are you1:17:42asking that? There you go. Why? Cuz what1:17:44I'm basically saying without saying it1:17:46is So, wait. Let me get this straight.1:17:49Bro had all these women. Bro did1:17:51whatever he wanted.1:17:53And he's Can he get to heaven? Oh,1:17:56that's what I want. I want to do1:17:57whatever I want, accessorize1:17:59Christianity and in the end if I even if1:18:01I die from it, as long as I get to1:18:03heaven, that's okay, right? Like that's1:18:05the heart posture. People have asked1:18:06that question to me a gang of times. And1:18:08so, it's the same thing. Jesus sits1:18:11there and he knows the heart posture of1:18:13people. He senses it. And so, when1:18:15people come to me1:18:17on our last hangout too, it was the same1:18:18question. This guy was like1:18:20Yeah, man. Like how do I preach the1:18:22gospel to people, man? Like1:18:24you know, uh I just like I just want1:18:27people to go to heaven. It was that1:18:29simple. So, the the answer should be oh,1:18:31it's simple. Study, be surrendered,1:18:34remember who you are. You're nothing but1:18:35dirt. It's USPS. Like I could say all of1:18:37that. But right there I sensed his heart1:18:39posture. His heart posture was1:18:42I need I don't feel validated as a1:18:44Christian.1:18:45I'm saved and I'm not preaching the1:18:47gospel. So now I need to feel valid.1:18:50So if I save people, then I'll be valid.1:18:53Selfish.1:18:55Okay, Johnny. How do I save people so I1:18:58could feel valid?1:18:59Do you understand what I'm saying? And1:19:01when I checked that he really he was1:19:02like, "Bro, Aaron was there, too. Aaron1:19:04two Aaron 1.5."1:19:06I don't know, right? Our other Aaron,1:19:08right? He was there and he right? The1:19:10guy was literally like, "Damn, that's1:19:12true."1:19:13Because that's what happens is I don't1:19:16feel validated, but let me spin this1:19:18question so that it doesn't look like1:19:21I'm seeking it and it seems right. What?1:19:23What's wrong with asking how to preach1:19:25the gospel better? We're called to make1:19:26disciples of many nations. We're But1:19:28what's the underlying heart? The1:19:30underlying heart is I don't have faith1:19:32that the most validated person in this1:19:34world who created this world knows me by1:19:37my name, knows a hair on my head, that1:19:39even if I didn't preach the gospel, he1:19:40still loves me. Instead, I don't care1:19:42about that.1:19:44I got to sit there and make sure, "Okay,1:19:46you're going to like you're saved by me.1:19:48You're saved me See God? I saved these1:19:50people. See?" Like it's this energy and1:19:52people don't even see it from that1:19:53position. They're Most people surface1:19:56level would sit there and I saw the1:19:57comments. They're like, "Oh my gosh.1:19:58Wow, that's crazy. I would have not1:20:00answered that way." Of course, because1:20:02it sounds very harmless. "Hey, how do I1:20:05preach the gospel so my friends and1:20:07family get saved?" And most people would1:20:09answer the same way Mr. Jerbear and Mr.1:20:12Aaron answered, which is yes and no.1:20:15>> character. I knew the answer. I was just1:20:17had to, you know, play along. Imagine if1:20:19I had a perfect answer.1:20:21Imagine.1:20:24>> [laughter]1:20:24>> The funniest is when he goes,1:20:26"No."1:20:28That was funny.1:20:29He's like, "Damn, I don't how to It's1:20:31definitely not yes. No." That's how you1:20:33get like you know like when they show1:20:34the dog like biting like they'll you1:20:36have a stuffed animal and they show the1:20:37dog biting and then they smack it and Oh1:20:39yeah yeah yeah and the dog's like1:20:41>> [laughter]1:20:42>> He was like, yes, and you're like, no,1:20:43you no, why would you say that? You1:20:45failed. You're like, no.1:20:49I felt the [snorts and laughter] same1:20:50too. That was funny.1:20:52>> I walked into a trap.1:20:53>> So I'm saying at the end of the day it's1:20:56it's you guys have to think about heart1:20:58posture. So same thing when somebody's1:21:00all about trials and tribulations and1:21:03pre-trip and mid-trip and post-trip and1:21:05Anunnaki chicken and1:21:08>> [laughter]1:21:09>> Hey, Anunnaki chicken.1:21:11>> He's like,1:21:13You know with the chicken. Yeah.1:21:16Can I do ayahuasca? And I'm like, bro,1:21:19you all are focusing on the wrong stuff.1:21:22That's what it is and I have to sit1:21:24there and I have to pick that out of you1:21:25guys and go, look,1:21:27respectfully,1:21:29be like Paul wrote 14 books and was1:21:31like, I only know about Jesus. He's1:21:33like, Jesus, right? Like he's like1:21:34Jackie from our church. He's like,1:21:36Jesus.1:21:38>> [laughter]1:21:39>> Love you, Jackie. And we got to answer1:21:41like that, too. He's always like that.1:21:43Pastor Kim one time was What did Pastor1:21:45Kim say? It was so funny. He was like,1:21:47am I doing am I How's the sermon for you1:21:49guys? And I think he was like, it's all1:21:51right.1:21:52>> [laughter]1:21:53>> Jackie's just one word answers.1:21:55>> Yeah, I love that.1:21:56>> responds to the questions like1:21:58instantly.1:21:58>> Bro kill would kill it in Jeopardy.1:22:00Yeah.1:22:01It's like but1:22:02>> But Jesus Jeopardy? Jeez bro bro would1:22:04kill it.1:22:04>> be like that one guy who won like 861:22:06games in a row. Yeah yeah yeah that1:22:08dude.1:22:08>> kid.1:22:09>> Yeah. But yeah, so1:22:11it's not that Jesus doesn't know wrap to1:22:13wrap this back like it it's not that1:22:15Jesus doesn't know. He knows. But the1:22:17issue is he he he'll sit there and go, I1:22:20don't know. I do the same thing when1:22:21people come and ask me questions and1:22:22they ask these big brain questions.1:22:25And I'm like, I don't know.1:22:27Obviously I can break it down for them.1:22:28How many books have you know? I don't1:22:29know. How many wise men are there? I1:22:31don't know.1:22:32I know these things, but why would I say1:22:34that? Because I know where they're at. I1:22:35know what they're looking for. I know1:22:37that their focus is there and I can't be1:22:39mean enough to be like, you don't know.1:22:40You shouldn't be focused on I just go,1:22:42honestly I don't know, but what I think1:22:44I what I think it is we should focus on1:22:46the gospel.1:22:47And nine times out of1:22:49Yeah, that's what it not literally I was1:22:51just in nine times out of 10 oh, that's1:22:53boring. I know about the gospel. Do you1:22:55though?1:22:56If the whole Bible is about Jesus Christ1:22:58and Jesus is all about the gospel, let's1:22:59say,1:23:00why does it take 66 books to explain the1:23:03gospel the way that it is? It should1:23:05have the book should be1:23:07three pages.1:23:09Right? It would it wouldn't be a book.1:23:11It would be three pages. So, again, it's1:23:13there's so many layers of the gospel1:23:16that people don't even know about.1:23:17They're like, whatever. I'm going to1:23:19drop the the Johnny Chang Bible. It's1:23:21three pages.1:23:23Just explains it right there.1:23:24>> Yeah, yeah, but it's No, we're Yeah,1:23:25we're doing an an- we're doing an1:23:27annotated Bible though. Yeah. That's1:23:29going to be fire. Well, honestly, that1:23:32wraps the episode. That was very1:23:33thorough. Yeah, baby. Um but I just have1:23:35one final question though. And you said1:23:37it's not biblical, but there's not going1:23:38to be like movie style rapture where1:23:41like the clouds rip open, the ground1:23:44breaks apart, like this is the end1:23:46style, hands come down and I'm like,1:23:49guys, come on, grab me. I'll be like,1:23:51you sat next to me the whole time as I'm1:23:52lifted up. You sat next to me the whole1:23:54time. Yeah, and I'd be like,1:23:57I don't know him. Take my shoe off. Is1:23:59that all just Hollywood? I think that's1:24:01all Hollywood. I mean, we will be1:24:02gathered up in the clouds with Jesus.1:24:05Clouds represent Jesus in the Bible as1:24:07well. He's a pillar of cloud that1:24:09followed them through the wilderness,1:24:11like he follows us through the1:24:12wilderness through the Holy Spirit.1:24:14Again, guys,1:24:16God is God is three in one, right? So,1:24:18it's Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God the1:24:20Father all in one.1:24:22So,1:24:23yes, there is that. I mean, there there1:24:26are like the four the four horsemen.1:24:29There's like all these little things,1:24:31right? That we can get into. But at the1:24:33end of the day, it's like, bro, get1:24:34there first like just get there. Just be1:24:37a janitor in heaven if you have to. My1:24:39goodness, like just get there. That's1:24:41the most important thing and most people1:24:44there's I've been through so much of1:24:46these rabbit holes.1:24:47It was horrible. I was also a big1:24:50post-tripper. Like I believed in1:24:52post-tribulation. But again, cuz it1:24:54matched my heart. I was a gangster. So,1:24:56I'm like, hell yeah, we're going to ride1:24:58it out. It's hot on the yard. Yep, like1:25:00tell them to come, bro. I can't wait to1:25:01use a AR for1:25:03Sorry.1:25:04>> [laughter]1:25:05>> Can't wait to use a 762 556 223.1:25:09Numbers, guys. Angelic numbers.1:25:12Turn people into angels. I'm just1:25:14kidding. But like I literally would I1:25:16would be like that. Yeah, bring it on.1:25:18Hell yeah, I hope the government can.1:25:19I'm ready for that. Like again, it it1:25:22matches my heart. That's why I would1:25:24think like that.1:25:26It wasn't matching the Bible though. And1:25:28when you start to realize most of the1:25:30messages, whether it's repentance,1:25:33whether it's forgiveness, it is all1:25:35matching your heart. I ask people all1:25:37the time. So, if the biblical1:25:38forgiveness, what they think is is and1:25:40biblical repentance is, Father God, I'm1:25:42sorry. Let me actively try to turn away.1:25:45I just ask them one question to follow1:25:47up. If you think that's what it is, how1:25:49many sins do you think you commit in a1:25:50day? And what about all the ones you1:25:52don't think are really sins and actually1:25:54are? Then what? And then they spin it.1:25:56Well, God would then forgive me for1:25:58those things. No, cuz in Leviticus it1:26:00says even sins that you don't know are1:26:01counted against you. Sin is sin. Right?1:26:04If that's the case, those people in the1:26:06islands who don't know about God should1:26:08go to heaven. They don't even know that1:26:10they're sinning. No, if you don't have1:26:11Jesus Christ, donezo, right? So, again,1:26:15even our repentance is relative and1:26:17subjective to us. Oh, I feel really bad1:26:19about this. I don't really feel bad1:26:21about wearing mixed linens though. Oh,1:26:23it's not even that's the Levitical laws.1:26:24It doesn't matter but Jesus says if you1:26:26love me keep my commandments. Keep all1:26:27the commandments, right? So, again,1:26:30every what we're apologizing for, we're1:26:32asking questions about alcohol.1:26:34Yesterday at the class somebody was1:26:36asking me questions about alcohol.1:26:39Yeah, if Jesus turned water into wine1:26:42why can't we drink alcohol? And I'm1:26:44looking at him like, just drink alcohol,1:26:46fool. Like1:26:47Like stop trying to make it like you1:26:49want to do it, just do it. You know what1:26:51I mean? But it's always this like, well,1:26:54you know, it's it's grapes, it's from1:26:56the earth and God said every herb1:26:58yielding seed. It's like, bro, just do1:26:59it. You want to do it.1:27:03Just have them crushing grapes and bring1:27:06He's like stepping on it, right? I don't1:27:08think like Tito's was in the Bible.1:27:10>> [laughter]1:27:11>> Question then, based on Aaron's goofy1:27:14question that I would never ask, what's1:27:16his heart? What's it reflecting to you?1:27:19>> What what question did he ask?1:27:20>> Remember the did the sky get ripped open1:27:21and am I going to have to cling on to1:27:23your ankles?1:27:24>> curious.1:27:25It's just curiosity.1:27:28And he wants to get to heaven.1:27:31On podcast?1:27:33>> [laughter]1:27:33>> Oh, he has curious questions than I? I1:27:36also I understand the concept of like1:27:38you're asking the wrong things for the1:27:40wrong reasons. But also there's just1:27:42random fun topics that for some reason1:27:43like like1:27:45who would you guys say are the modern1:27:46day four horsemen of the apocalypse? You1:27:48know, it's like obviously it doesn't1:27:50matter, super not important we're1:27:51wasting our time talking or thinking1:27:52about it. Aaron Vail's number one.1:27:57Who do you guys think? Aaron Vail's1:27:59number one.1:28:02I was thinking the other one the other1:28:03one was going to make the comments go1:28:05crazy.1:28:05>> Well,1:28:06>> [laughter]1:28:06>> what's the other one? I was going to say1:28:10Yeah. Wait, who who's one who's your hot1:28:12take that we'll bleep too?1:28:16Okay.1:28:17That was like one of the signs of the1:28:18end. I'm like, this girl is so famous1:28:20now for for saying what? And now she's1:28:23rug pulling millions of people dollars.1:28:25I'm like, damn. Such a small like he his1:28:26mom doesn't know1:28:28Yeah, I don't know who that is.1:28:29>> Yeah, he doesn't know that is either.1:28:30>> Oh, that's the girl that was like Yeah,1:28:32yeah, yeah.1:28:33>> [laughter]1:28:33>> Question.1:28:34When you were deep in the rabbit hole,1:28:36to you who were the four horsemen?1:28:38So, the When you were deep in the rabbit1:28:40hole though, not biblically. Just your1:28:41four horsemen.1:28:42>> yeah. I would think the same thing. I1:28:44would think like just it it was1:28:46basically the spawn of the Antichrist.1:28:48So, whoever was doing the worst stuff.1:28:50Who was it? You know your four. Just1:28:53>> [laughter]1:28:54>> We can bleep it too and censor out the1:28:55names.1:28:56>> No, it wasn't any of my1:28:57>> bet I want to know how I know he was1:28:59wearing a tin foil1:29:00>> to think. Father God,1:35:15as there's so many people struggling1:35:17with end times prophecy, there's wars,1:35:20there's1:35:21famine, there's all kinds of things that1:35:22are that are happening, Father God, that1:35:25scare us, Lord, but we know one thing,1:35:27in Jeremiah 29:11, you said, "You know1:35:30the thoughts that you have for us,1:35:32thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give1:35:34us an expected end." In the end, Father1:35:36God, we can expect peace is what you're1:35:38saying.1:35:39And we're very thankful because the1:35:41enemy tries to deceive us. He tries to1:35:43make us live as if you're not there.1:35:46He tries to make us see that this world1:35:49is crumbling right before our eyes and1:35:51that evil is actually winning when1:35:53that's not true.1:35:55He tries to make us feel like you've1:35:57abandoned us completely, that you don't1:35:59hear our prayers, that you don't care1:36:01about us, that everyone's just having1:36:03their own way, and why why not just live1:36:06the same way as other people who are1:36:08secular. But [clears throat] Lord, that1:36:09is all a lie from the enemy and we1:36:12rebuke that in Jesus' name.1:36:14Please allow us to break through these1:36:16strongholds, Father God,1:36:18because1:36:19you are the alpha and the omega, the1:36:21beginning and the end. And in the end,1:36:22Father God, you know1:36:24that you prevail. We know1:36:26how the story ends, Father God, and it's1:36:30you giving us peace, you giving us love,1:36:33wiping away every single tear,1:36:36and just happiness and hope inside of1:36:38heaven, Father God.1:36:40For that, we're so so grateful. If1:36:42there's anybody that's struggling,1:36:44that's listening,1:36:45they're going down the rabbit holes and1:36:47they're staying up and they're having1:36:48anxiety, God, please ease their heart,1:36:50Lord. I hope this episode was able to1:36:53become a resource for them, to help them1:36:55with their emotions and their trials and1:36:56tribulations, to know that the enemy is1:36:59a lie,1:37:00and that you're the truth, Lord, and the1:37:02truth always prevails.1:37:04Thank you, Father God.
